My fiance loves this place. It was my first and probably only time as I'm from the PNW and I wasn't very hungry. My plate of food was decent but only went one round. The service though was impeccable, very impressed.

We may go back, but never for the buffet. It was my very first Chinese buffet and I had absolutely none of the Chinese food - it literally looked inedible. The American offerings were fine, but not worth going back for. The sushi and the hibachi looked far more promising. Service was slow, but friendly.

I'm not sure if there are any other oriental restaurants in Blue Ridge, so definitely Tin Loong is in the Top 3. Seriously, it's ok and we will go back, but it's not the best I've had. The dining area is roomy, they have a large bar area and the have a hibachi dining area as well. We checked out the buffet and decided to order off of the menu. Our food was good - sushi was fresh, well prepared and generously served.Unless you are looking for quantity and not quality I would avoid the buffet.

The most horrid Asian restaurant I have ever been to. It's so humid and, steamy inside, it's a bacterial breeding ground. I'm still sick.i went to the buffet, never again. Bathrooms were gross, floors were dirty. Just plain yuck.

When the clock strikes twelve on a work day and I'm just particularly hating myself, Tin Loong is the final nail in the coffin. I'm fully aware that it's a mistake; the food isn't all that great, it's slightly overpriced and I'm going to eat way too much. However, that doesn't stop me for whatever reason. I just keep going back. At one point I had a location-based reminder set for Tin Loong so that my phone would prompt to make better life choices. It didn't work.

We had passed this restaurant a few times and decided to try the buffet. I have to say this was the very best buffet of it's kind that we've ever tried. There are the typical asian dishes, which were all outstanding, but also american fare and more different items than you can even list. Salad bar is huge, dessert bar is hard to resist even after eating a whole lot of other dishes, so I didn't resist and tried a little of each. The staff is helpful and friendly and it really appeared to be well kept. There is also a sushi bar but we didn't try that. All and all, I can't say enough except the price was really fair for the amount of dishes they offered. 2 adults for under $20 is great. I recommend trying Tin Loong if you happen to be in Blue Ridge. You wont regret it, unless you stuff yourself and have to be rolled out in a wheel barrow.

My family and I ate there tonight, hungry and tired. The food was not great it tasted like it had sat there for awhile. When you are at a buffet and have to struggle to find something you want that shouldn't be the case. No variety, just bland crap. Also note this: this restaurant charges an 18 percent gratuity for parties of six or more regardless of separate checks. And when you pay with a credit or debit card if you don't catch it on the bill you will pay the tip twice. The sign for that won't be at the hostess stand it will be on the wood panel wall where you might not see it. So don't get caught up paying your service twice, it wasn't that great either. Also after eating there some of us started having stomach cramps and naseau Do not eat here it's not worth by far the money. Unless you want the shits for the rest of the night stay away. Go somewhere else for chinese food.

The staff here are warm and friendly and the service is great. The buffet has lots of options including american food like mashed potatoes and fried chicken. Unfortunatly they let the air conditioning make it all cold. They need to cover it up or put it under heat lamps or something. The hibachi is great though. Their booths are made for giants and I feel like a hobbit when I sit in them. The building is beautiful. Its a nice looking place to take people out but when it's just me I go to the other one.

So I'm giving this place 3 stars based upon 2 visits. My first visit 3 or maybe even 4 star Worthy my next visit 2 star worthy so I choose the middle. We visited this place after leaving the Ocoee area. We chose the buffet verses the Hibachi grill. The service was great. Everyone was very nice and attentive. We never had a empty glass and plates were consistently removed from the table. The food...well...ummm....Ive definitely had better. This buffet does not claim to be Chinese only. Its American, Chinese, etc etc They have everything from your usual Chinese dishes such as won-ton soup, friend rice, general chicken etc. However they also have American dishes such as fried chicken, friend green tomato and pork chops. ohhh and they even have Philly cheesteak egg rolls..LOL..yeah I laugh but they really did taste like a cheesesteak. Well kind of. The food isn't the best but it was decent for a buffet and for the price which includes your drink. If I were heading through the mountains again and needed a cheap fill me up. Id stop here again.

Yes, this place is disgusting. Literally, the worst Chinese buffet place I've ever been to...and I've sadly been to many throughout my life (stupid Chinese bus tours!!). I can't remember the exact prices they were charging for the buffet but it was something ridiculous like 12.99 for dinner and the buffet looked DISGUSTING. There was a lot of food that looked like it had been sitting there for quite some time. I actually opt-ed for a cooked dish (Shrimp and Broccoli) which was drenched in sauce and not too great either. Overall, poor choice on our behalf but to their credit, we were a group of 12+ indecisive people so this was our best choice at 8PM and they were very accommodating for a group our size. That deserves one star, but the food deserves no stars.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city.
