Been on a Marcos kick lately. My boyfriend and I, just about every weekend order a cheese pizza with white sauce, and it's definitely the BEST pizza I have ever had. We easily clear the whole thing... To the point we are so full but it's so good we can't stop eating it! It seems like it gets better every time. I've had other pizzas from Marcos as well, and I have to say, I've never had a bad experience! It definitely Is one of my favorite pizza spots!

I like their specialty pizzas, but this place has given me the wrong order the past three times I have ordered delivery from here. For instance, I just ordered a specialty pizza tonight and had a coupon for free cheesy bread. Now, I get that its Friday and they're probably busy; but while placing the order, the girl never gave us an ETA. They finally showed up and hour later, delivering wrongly made pizzas that were barely warm and no cheesy bread. Disappointed and hungry. :(

Fast delivery, loaded with toppings, digital receipt/signing. The wings are baked, not fried, and that makes them on par with all of the other chain pizza joints. (meh). Went with "the works"... which is odd because I swear I clicked 'cheeseburger', but I guess that's why you should check your order. It was tasty. I'll go with these guys before hitting up the other ones. Website/online ordering was well done. Their 'order tracker' is accurate to within 3 minutes. ...'your delivery is three minutes away'. Which was helpful for getting the dog put away before he freaks out when hearing a knock.

I love Marco's. I've never had a problem with quality of product or service. I'm ver particular about things so no matter where I go, I always check my order. My pizza has never been cold. I generally order online and carry out. I've never had delivery. This is my go to pizza joint.

Price is comparable to places like papa johns, but the pizza is better. The staff has always been friendly when ordering in the store and over the phone. I wish there was a Marco's in Richmond County.

Ordered a to go pizza #349 on 2/10/15. Haven't had pizza in months and it was a special treat. I ordered pepperoni with ranch, as we were out at the house. Family member went to go pick up the pizza. Came back. No ranch in box, despite it clearly being marked on the receipt. I called to ask them to send some over, as I didn't want to spend 15-20 minutes to go to the grocery store letting my pizza get cold while everyone ate without me. The response was underwhelming, saying there would be a $2.50 delivery charge and that they didn't charge me for the ranch because it was "free." Unwilling to waive a delivery charge after making a mistake. Not excusable. What was the profit on the pizza? Pizzas don't cost $16 to make, especially when picked up. I don't eat pizza without ranch, which is why I ordered it. Pizza was medicore to crappy. Maybe this is because there was no ranch. Maybe this was because the pepperoni was sparse and the slices cut with drastic irregularity. For the money it was not worth a purchase over Papa Johns. Would not recommend to anyone who cares where their hard earned money goes. This franchise is not deserving. I should have ordered from Mellow Mushroom. Or anyone but these guys. Pizza tasted like crappy 90's Dominos pizza the next day.

I have been ordering from this pizzeria since I moved here from NY 6 months ago. I am happy to find a great tasting pizza outside of papa john's-pizza hut- dominos.. which I don't really care for. I really enjoy the flavor of the pizza at Marcos and the price is very affordable. They also go by a point system when you reach 100 points you get $10 off your following order. I always look up a coupon and there is always a great deal. I just tried the cheesy bread a few days ago because they mailed me a coupon for a free order of cheesy bread with the purchase of a medium or large pizza. It was delicious and flavorful. Better than papa johns cheesy bread. It had a garlic parmesan flavor to it. We usually do a cheese pie or pepperoni (my kids aren't too adventurous) I have tried the white pie and that was very tasty. If you are a family with a couple of small kids I recommend this place because it is tasty and affordable. Pizza can be so dang expensive. I will continue to order from Marcos.

I really wanted a slice of pizza but they one sell pies so I had the hot Italian sub instead. It was ok and i was the only one in the store this was before the lunchtime and everyone was prepping for lunch so my sandwich took about 9 minute from placing my order to finally getting it.In a nutshell, if i'm in the area I may stop by but it's no hurry for a average sandwich.

If you like cold pizza this is the PERFECT place for you. Two pizzas in one week, both cold. Ordered 6 pizzas for business - one hour late. Spoke to the manager today, no apology, offered money off next time. Why would I order from you again? I need to amend my review. Spoke with the district manager who told me about some challenges they were having and how they were responding. He apologized and offered a $20 credit. The two times I have ordered since my first review the pizzas have been great and delivered hit.

Pizza was good, although a little expensive. Dining area tables were dirty. Limited number of toppings. They brought us the wrong pizza. I asked for a cup for water and was ignored. No coke, Pepsi instead. Pepsi is cheaper for the store, but this was not reflected in the price.

Yes, prices are rather high for a chain joint, but I would say quality beats your usual suspects (Pizza Hut, Dominoes, etc). If you want delivery, they are a solid choice. Eat in? Mellow Mushroom or Pizza Joint are still the go-to choices. I have eaten from Marcos about five times. The quality is hit or miss but I have had good luck with simple orders like sausage and pepperoni, or their specialty white pizza. Their crust toppers certainly reduce the likeliness of bland, leftover crust. My boys loved it the last time we ordered a two-topping pie, cheesy bread, and 2-liter soda. I never saw pizza disappear so fast.. Good thing everyone else was eating out. We woukd have spent close to $100 otherwise! Usually I only bother with bad reviews because I would hate consumers to repeat my dreadful experiences but our local Marcos has stepped up their game. The pizza gets better and better, and they are finally offering some real deals via e-mail and Facebook. Not To Manager: Give Damaris a raise. He is Mr. Customer Service and has restored my faith in your restaurant!

I just moved to town. The Marco's where I moved from was great, so I was happy to learn that there was a Marco's in Augusta, too. My first order from Marco's was perfect, and the delivery driver was really, really nice - as in nicer than I have ever experienced in any food industry experience that is less than a five-star restaurant. However, the next experience involved the delivery driver bringing the wrong drink, then going back to get the correct drink, without re-cooking or warming up my food. So, I got the correct drink, along with cold food. When I spoke with the manager about the issue, her response was, "Well, nobody's perfect." Apparently, this is true, as I thought I had found the perfect pizza restaurant, only to have my dreams brought back to earth by this wonderful manager. I will definitely order pizza from this Marco's location again - the pizza is too good not to order from there; however, I will no longer expect to interact with courteous, appreciative staff members. I suppose I should have read the previous reviews, and I might have known better than to get my hopes up with this location.

I love the different crust toppers, and for a take out place this rates high for me. I love the Hawaiian pizza, and my kids love the new yorker or the cheese bread.

It started off bad. It took the, more than eight minutes, mostly on hold, to take my order. Service improved. The pizza was delivered 30 minutes after I placed the call. Unfortunately, the pizza was standard large box pizza joint pizza. It was okay, but not more than average. In looking at their menu, the prices are generally pretty high. However, some of their specials are very inexpensive. We got an extra large three topping pizza for $13.99, a price cheaper than their usual medium with three toppings. In brief, I probably won't go back to them, but they are okay.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
