Your typical Chinese fast food, shopping center restaurant. My steamed veggies were good, the white rice rather starchy. The serving was very generous, allowing a large , leftover portion for take out. I will probably return as it is close to where I'm staying.

My go-to Chinese restaurant for semi-quick take out! I have several Chinese restaurants that are closer to me, but I always find myself coming to this one. The cooks are Chinese and they have a really nice guy who works the front desk who speaks fluent English (in case anyone was concerned..). The food takes longer to cook and it definitely tastes more fresh than most other Chinese take out places in Augusta. Also, I'm not dying from MSG or corn starch overdose so that's a definite win! I'm a big fan of their soups, fried rice and their shrimp with curry. The shrimp they use are jumbo-sized and so good! Most of the entrees here are ~$5 with combos at ~$7. Only thing about them is they give you the tiniest container of rice if you only get one entree. And the entree portion is definitely enough for at least two servings. There is no ambiance to this place. It's good for take-out. Not a place I've ever dined in at. I would not take anyone here on a date. More like you take someone here if you want to break up with them and hope they storm off so you can have the rest of their food type of place...

The food is very good, there is a lot of variety and it is very reasonably priced. The lunch buffet with a drink for 5 of us was only $33.25. They had many choices and the items were fresh and tasty. We have eaten there twice and weren't disappointed either time. This is going to be our go to place for Chinese.

Did a call in order. The guy said it will be ready in 15 minutes so I went 20 minutes after. Paid for my food. Sat and 5 minutes later food was bought out, not knowing it was mine. Sat for 15 minutes Untill I asked how long. The guy went back to check, asked me what my order was and it was sitting on the counter the whole time. So I waited there 20 minutes while my food was sitting there for 15. Now I'm stuck with cold chinese food!!

Buffet is small, sesame chicken is very good. 6.25 for buffet and drink. This was my first time here but all in all it's an alright place to eat. Only thing I didn't like is that there wasn't very much to choose from.

I don't know what everybody is four starring this place about. Yes I have had much better Chinese, but this place can't really compete with Panda Express and that's just a chain of wannabe Chinese food. Your best bet if you don't want to be disgusted is to get whatever the lady on the phone says get. She told me that (just like Panda Express) the seasame chicken, teriyaki chicken, and general tso chicken was really good. Pardon me, but that is such boring chinese food! I wanted something with real flavor. Major mistake on both accounts, the chicken teriyaki was so-so at best. LOL, One point for Panda Express! At least they slice the chicken breast in front of you. My next order was shrimp with lobser sauce and it tasted kind of weird. I explain to the "manager" over the phone my concerns about the meal and he replied I'll give you 5% off your next order or you can (mind you I paid for delivery and tipped) come here and get another order, but we aren't going to come back. He didn't care that maybe he had a tainted dish or that I was displeased, but could offer something less than tax on a completely bogus order. I deal with companies with great customer service because I work in a customer service based industry, they deserved their one star. One star because the delivery time wasn't bad at all for $3.

I have been looking for a decent Chinese place since I moved here 1.5 years ago. I have tried all the other "best chinese food in Augusta" spots, Shangri-La, Hunan Cafe, Sho Chins, etc., and I have been disappointed each time. This time, I was not. The place is clean, though it looks like pretty much any other Chinese take out place. Though of note, when I was waiting someone was sitting there eating, the minute he got up to leave someone came out and cleaned up his table. The service was fast, the employees were friendly. The price was average. The selection is pretty standard chinese food selection. The food was great! Probably the best chinese food I have had since I have moved to Augusta. Though that isn't saying ALL that much, it is still the best I've tried. It tastes like it should. They pretty much have everything on their menu, so just give it a try!

I was staying at the baymont inn in Augusta.Ga. The front desk recommended ordering from here. Not only was the food great I didn't realize it was going get so much food. 5 stars isn't enough. Fantastic. Next I come back here I'll definitely be ordering from here.

Lunch buffet is very good and cheap (6 dollars and some change). They don't have a lot of items but what they do have is very good. Really good chicken wings and sesame chicken.

Giant roach on the buffet, I'm about to lose what little lunch I had. Would not recommend. Unless you're into insects, it's cheaper than the exhibit at the zoo.

Low quality food. Sweet n sour chicken is okay, but teriyaki chicken was a bit too tough and didnt taste very good. There was also something crunchy in it and i had to spit it out, and that did it for me. I think next time i will just order pizza.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
