Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Good chicken teriyaki. Bad part of town. If you are a tourist, avoid walking from your hotel.

I always order delivery from Yumm Teriyaki and the food is great! I typically order the Chicken Hibachi and it comes with the best Hibachi sauce. Stick to the Chicken Hibachi, because the breading on the shrimp is definitely not as good as the regular chicken. The staff inside of Yumm Yeriyaki are nice and they deliver to college campuses much faster than other delivery places. Awesome place!

I love yumm teriyaki! Hibachi chicken, veggie delite, and the teriyaki chicken are so good! I recommend this place if you're looking for good and quick Japanese/chinese food! They're all super nice too!

Good food. Prompt & courteous. There's one delivery guy who is a little weird, but definitely recommend. Just upped then to 5. Solid establishment. Get the chicks and shrimp.

I had shrimps and chicken hibachi with sauces on the side. Well, make sure you tell them to put sauces on the side or else it would be soggy. It came w steamed rice and vegetables and 2 kinds of sauce. One is too sweet so I had to add extra soy sauce to it, and the other creamy sauce was pretty good. I had food and water delivered to my hotel so I didn't need to go out to find water. This is my second time eating the same dish, still like it. Got them delivered within an hour. Not too bad..

Inedible. The chicken was so gristly and fatty that I just threw it all away. The noodles were too chunky with no flavor. Save your money and dine elsewhere.

Rude and disrespectful cashier manager does not care about customer issues. I will never eat here again. If I could rate zero stars I would. If you don't have 30 minutes to wait for your order don't eat here. Service is slow, they ignore or brush you off when you ask about your order. They talk to customers any way they want. Customer service is not important to them at all.

This place was horrible!!!! I ordered my food at 12:07 and I didn't get it until 2:00 a.m. I called and first whomever answered said it was bc of the weather but the weather is perfectly fine and I told him that. Then he said its bc the driver was pulled over and my food would be here soon. I waited 45 more minutes and it still wasn't here. I called again & the same person answered and told me to call back in 20 mins bc a manager would be in. 10 mins later the food came and it was cold of course. This. Was. Horrible.

The last time I ordered from Yumm Teriyaki, the hibachi sauce was delicious, thick, and plentiful. The tofu was fried fluffy and golden brown to perfection. The cabbage and vegetables were full and fresh. Sadly, something must have changed. The hibachi sauce I just received seemed very watered down and there definitely wasn't as much as there used to be (and I even asked for extra!) The tofu was fried crispy and rubbery and the cabbage and vegetables, aside from there being less of them, were wilted and browning in some parts. Yumm Teriyaki used to be my favorite spot for an Asian-inspired, vegetarian meal, but now I will think twice before eating here again. Maybe they were running low on hibachi sauce and decided to water it down or something. Maybe I happened to come in on the last day they were using that produce before a new shipment Who knows.

This time the food was very Delicious but the driver needs to be fired. He have a nasty ass attitude and I am the right person for him. He going to call me saying "AYE YOU NEED TO COME DOWNSTAIRS TO GET THIS FOOD I GOT OTHER PPL TO DELIVER TO" I am thinking to my self dude this is your JOB !! If you don't like climbing up stairs oh well. Then when he get to the door oh you only tipping me 5.00 WAAAAAAAAAAT My meal was only 8.00 and be lucky you got 5.00 The way he threw the food at me & his attitude I almost snapped on him. I will be calling the store to tell them he have a nasty ass attitude!!

After a 12 hour bus ride, we arrived at our hotel (Fairfield Inn) around 6-7pm. We realized the surrounding restaurants / stores are closed (except for the waffle house) - not knowing the area, a local told us to go to Yumm since they close at 3am. This place is a savior! We were surprised how clean the place is (compared to where it is located) and how delicious and "fresh" our food was. Great portion for great price!

The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because they have good service but other than that it was terrible. How you mess up fried rice is beyond me. I should have listened to the reviews.

Average food a decent price ( for a fast food oriental place). They now have American fare: Burgers, Philly cheese steak, etc. My Philly cheese steak meal (inc. fires and drink) was $6.99. Good place to watch people talking to themselves on the sidewalk or people with nothing else to do. Location is convenient because its right around the corner from my office.

I have never written a review before, but felt a responsibility to warn future customers after my experience on . I went to Yum on 11/2/13 on MLK/Peachtree St in Atlanta at about 2pm and placed a takeout order. I ordered by number from their menu two 4's and a 6, because the cashier was obviously not a fluent English speaker, so I made sure to order using the numbers on their menu board. Even after ordering by number, she asked if I wanted tilapia, which was number 7 on the menu. I told her "No, I want 2 number 4's and a 6," which she repeated back, so I paid and left to move my car before the dreaded Park Atlanta could ticket me. Imagine my surprise when I come inside to pick up my order, and it includes two number 4's and Tilapia instead of the number 6 I ordered. When I told the cashier about the mistake, she got very rude and tried to tell me I asked for Tilapia, when I repeated, word for word, what I ordered, and the conversation I had with her about the Tilapia, she yells "well you need to pay .70 more", all while slamming the register drawer and trying to stare daggers through me. The cooks were apologizing, and I told them loud enough for her to hear, "I know that the order was not your mistake, I know exactly who messed up my order. Some of the customers in there were telling me that she is often rude and belligerent to customers, and I told them and her, that when a business treats you like crap, you don't give them your hard-earned dollar, and they would definitely not be getting any more of mine. The food was good, thanks to the cooks, but the side order of rudeness was unpalatable.

It's 10:30PM at night after the Gold Cup semi-final (for soccer), and after trying two other Asian places within walking distance of our hotel (Yelp said they were open, but they're not!), we gave up finding a sit-down restaurant. I found this place on Yelp, called, and confirmed they're open until 3AM. Yay! I ordered the shrimp fried noodles and pot stickers. I thought, "Yeah this place probably uses American spaghetti noodles, but whatever...I'm HUNGRY!" I used their online website, which was pretty easy to use. My friend ordered the chicken fried rice. The order arrived 38 minutes after placement, which isn't bad. The order also included a couple of pairs of chopsticks, which I called and requested after placing the order online (forgot to note in my comments). The food was plentiful. The pot stickers were really crispy and juicy inside, which I liked. The fried noodles were actually made with an Asian noodle (can't describe which kind, but just trust me lol) and were pretty tasty. I could only eat half of my noodles. The fried rice wasn't bad either; the chicken wasn't overcooked and dry. Overall the food was slightly greasy, as expected, but I have certainly had worse. Given we were downtown and all the non-American food options were nil within walking distance of our hotel (had been on the road for two weeks, so was tired of burgers, etc), this wasn't too bad! --- Order Summary: 1 of 3. Fried Potstickers (6) (X1 $2.99) 2 of 3. Shrimp Fried Rice or Noodles (X1 $7.59) 3 of 3. Chicken Fried Rice or Noodles (X1 $6.59) Order type : Delivery Subtotal of Items: $17.17 Tax $1.37 Tip: $2.00 Delivery Charge $2.00 Total for this Order: $22.54

Placed online order at 9:55 PM. Called back 40 minutes later at 10:35 to confirm order. Man on phone confirmed it was placed and would be there soon. Called back again at midnight because the wait seemed excessive to the same guy telling me he never got my order, even though I called to check on it and confirm it with him an hour and a half prior. He passed the phone to his manager(?) who was rude and unapologetic. He said that their online ordering was down and that the only way to order online was through GrubHub. And hey, that's all well and good, except for the fact that I called at 10:35 to confirm it. I still have the call log on my phone. The manager's only offer was to take my order then. No apology, no offer of a discount or anything at all to make up for it. I declined. I won't be back and will spread the word. It's express hibachi- I'm not expecting perfection, I just wanted my food.

I have been dining at this establishment on and off for well over five years. At first the portions were plentiful and prices reasonable. The Chicken Teriyaki plate just a year ago was $5.69 and was about what you would get if you NOW doubled the meat. Now the same plate with half the meat portion is now $6.99. So while portions have decreased the price has continued to increase. I understand how business works but when your trying to work both end you make your customers feel cheated. Working at an office that frequents this establishment delivery has generally been fast and accurate over the years. I have picked up from the establishment several times when saving the delivery fee or meeting the minimum for order was not possible and the establishment is clean with plenty of seating. They have the grill viewable so you can watch them cook your meal while you wait. The staff ranges from friendly to rude depending on who is there and whether they have been getting bad news on their mobile they won't put down except to punch on the register. Overall I would have previously rated this higher but recent degradation has left a sour taste in my mouth.

The amount of food they give you is out of this world, in a good way! Very satisfying as well as flavorful.

I stopped in today after going to the Fulton County complex and the courthouse. Its right on the corner if your walking the L shape route walking from Five Points Marta station to the two places above. I was hungry, and it was convenient. I looked at the board and it was mostly all combos. I didnt want fries and a drink so the guy took the $6.49 Philly Cheese steak sandwich combo and offered the sandwich only at $4.99. Fine, that would work! No mishaps, and the sandwich was ok. I know what I was up against, as I bet most of you have heard the saying that Philly Cheesesteaks are ONLY good in Philly. If you have not hear that saying, you will. This sandwich was OK, and about what I expected, so Id rate it right in the middle. The menu seems to be a mix of American, Chinese, and Japanese. Considering there isnt a lot of eating choices in the immediate area, if I was hungry and walking by there, Id consider eating there again.

Don't eat here, don't order from here!! The spring rolls were soggy with over done veggies inside. The tempura wasn't tempura at all, obviously from frozen from some company. The chicken teriyaki was over cooked, steamed, and soggy. I didn't get the extra sauce I asked for but it wouldn't have helped. Deeply regretting my lunch decision today! The drive smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that I couldn't smell anything else for five minutes. That wouldn't have mattered if the food was decent though.
