This place is just ok compared to the one in perimeter.singapore street noodles was liquidy one time and dry some time so not consistent Also the text offer they send on Mondays (double the protein) says its on ALL entrees..but the store refuses to honor it for any steak items and kimchi dishes

This is the most overrated place out there. Sure, the food tastes okay - if you don't know what the dish is supposed to taste like. If you're accustom to indian food, don't order indian here, accustom to Thai food, don't get Thai here, you get the picture. The food is not authentic by any means, it is all "how can we make this dish without all the real ingredients" food. Count me out.

I love Tin drum a lot. My favorite is the sing chow mein with shrimp. The food is always good and the staff there are nice as well. Compared with other Asian food places, this place provides nutrition info for each item on their menus, which I find it helpful to get a healthy dietary .

I love the perimeter location, but this was not as good. I ordered Thai Basil roll and they served it without sauce, took long time to get it. The rice skin was dry and hard, the veg inside tasted fermented. Vi think they make in advance and they sit. The chicken teriyaki was good, chicken a little dry. I'll give this location a pass.

In town on a business trip, I often struggle with food options in this area. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty, but most are chain restaurants that I can try back home. Usually travelling to a cool city like Atlanta, I often try to find new places to eat. Tin Drum seemed to be a nice consolation, a chain I have yet to try or see back home. I was intrigued by the Asian-fusion-noodle-bowl vibe and I can't ever think of a time where a bowl of noodles or stir fry doesn't sound appetizing. There were a number of decent sounding options, and I opted for the Sing Chow Mein. The order came out quickly and I found my noodle bowl to be fairly fulfilling. That being said, I can't quite put my finger on it, but I just felt something is missing about this place and the food. Either way, a decent option in the area for one craving noodles.

Ok so I have eaten at Tin Drums on 5th, colony square, sydney marcus and atlantic station. I usually order the basil fried rice or the pad thai. Visit #1 - ordered basil fried rice and added shrimp - the rice was soggy, the meat was scarce and the cumcumber tasted ranstid. I asked them to change it and they did...but it still wasnt what i was used to. Disappointed! Visit #2 - decided that the first experience may be a one-off so i tried the pad thai...whew! Did they mess up the food....sauce was heavy...chicken breast was rubbery and the taste again wasnt it. Conclusion, I will stick with the ones downtown - they seem to be able to get it right _most_times.

All my Georgia Tech Co-Workers were nothing but overly excited at the possibility of Tin Drum near by. After months of waiting, it finally happened. This location seems to be plagued by all the problems of a new eating establishment. Slow service with the root cause being, one cook only. Regardless, the food is tasty. I ordered their pad thai and thought that the noodles were a little under cooked, but enjoyed the flavors. Not a place I will crave, but definitly a place I wouldn't mind coming back to.

This is an excellent run restaurant by the Manager Yogi Patel The food is fresh and innovative, t, but what makes it returnable is the outstanding help by Travis Williams, an employee there. He could not have been more professional in every way and deserves much kudos... Its a return, because of him....Adrienne

Food is great. But they've stopped taking online orders (since last Friday, at least) so they've lost my business.

I must say that I love the Tin Drum chain, so I'm glad to see a new one pop up. The food came very quickly and tasted like Tin Drum should! This location is smaller than any of the other locations I have visited, but there were still plenty of tables (each seating four people). Probably my only complaint would be that it was rather cold in the restaurant. Hopefully next time it will be warmer! I plan on dropping by for another taste and will probably give an update. Stop and give it a try, I doubt you'll regret it.

Tin Drum just opened this month here in Cumberland. Definitely worth the wait. The food is amazing, especially for those who love stir fry bowls with flavorful sauce, perfectly cooked meats and veggies. The cashier was very welcoming upon arrival and the food came not too long after ordering. The eating area is very clean with nice music playing. Definitely a great weekday spot for lunch or dinner. I'll definitely be back.

I went to the Akers Mill location, thinking that I finally found something similar to Pei Wei (so fresh and delicious rest under PF Chang). I had the Pad Thai and Coconut soup. The Pad Thai was gummy and flavorless and I couldn't find but a couple of scraps of meat. The Coconut Soup was thin and watery and tasteless. I paid $10 for nothing. Never again.

First time in a Tin Drum, I was expecting more...being a big fan of Asian food decided to give it a try. .....NOT IMPRESSED !!!! Nice place and location but what I ate [Kicking Kimchi] wasn't great. ... The steamed rice was all hard, the meat was hard and on top of things a cold, dried-up fried egg......I will try the place again to see if it was an isolated incident....

I called for take-out and the person answering the phone was helpful with ingredients and customizing my dish. The food was still hot when I got home and it was delicious, fresh and flavorful. Employees are very friendly and the store had a great atmosphere. Check them out, you won't be disappointed

Very limited seating. The food was really salty. Though the cashier was efficient and positive, the rest of the staff were rushed and didn't take time to ensure accuracy.

You won't be disappointed when you go here. If you're looking for fast casual dining for some Asian food this is the place to go. Each time I've gone, even during busy hours, the food comes out hot and fresh at a very quick pace. Go hungry because their serving size is very large. Also to top it off the staff are very friendly and can recommend something that suits your appetite.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
