Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Your classic pizza by the slice, with over a dozen variations ready to serve. You can get your own variation by custom ordering. Slices are based on an 18" large pie; contrast with Dominos and Papa Johns, which call 14" a large. The slices are generous, and filling. Unlike Antico's the crust is delicious and well baked: it has the classic crunch of good NY style pizza, and it's solid instead of floppy. A whole 18" pie is only $15, and several specialty combos are $20. Slices start at $2.75 for cheese, to $3.25, $3.75 and specialties. You get good value for the money whichever way you choose, because an 18" slice is large enough that 2 slices are a good meal. An especially nice touch: while they don't serve wine, they welcome "bring your own bottles" and have the glassware to serve you. Highly recommended.

I think it should be in the 3.5 star range. We've had takeout from here before. The lasagna is good as are some of the meat-centric pizzas. However, the last time I visited, the Margherita pizza was disappointing. Margherita is always a great test for a pizza place since it is just a few ingredients to represent the Italian flag. Green for basil, white for mozzarella, and red for tomato sauce. Sadly, this had no tomato sauce as it seemed like they brushed it with olive oil instead, and the basil was a sad little quantity of basil threads.

Piu Bello always seems to do the hungover pizza breakfast in bed trick. Their prices are fair, pizzas are large and loaded with toppings. HISTORY: Apparently it was started by some folks that ran a NYC pizza joint for many years and decided to relocate. Not sure why that happened, but the pizza they make is great. LUNCH: For lunch, you can get pizza by the slice as well as a number of calzones, rolls, heroes and other semi-Italian treats. Today I had the pepperoni which was just decent and the supreme, which was awesome and loaded with toppings. Crust is just decent in my opinion, but it is what it is. THE SPACE. Surprisingly, even during peak lunch hours (12pm) on weekdays, there is still plenty of space. It's a nice room and def looks better than just a take out pizza joint. DELIVERY. Delivery was on time and the guy came with a pizza in hand. What else do you need to hear?

Get pizza, closes by my place much better than the so called pizza places in Atlanta. Best Pizza Place in Atlanta. The staff was super friendly, I truly mean that I answer a ton of questions and made me feed at home away from home. i will recommend to my friends and family!!!
(5)Rebecca P.
I'm writing this as we wait for the pizza to be delivered. This is our go to pizza delivery place. Pizza and garlic knots are consistently good. We've tried the fries, lasagna, and other sides, but they seem to be a hit or miss depending on the time you order.

Very disappointed with this restaurant residing in the heart of Buckhead. My party & I waited inside for 10 minutes before being greeted. After all of that they actually has an 81 as their food score?! Wow! Not getting my money today!
(1)Thi T.
There are many pizza options, many of which are on display. There are many business offices around the area so I can understand the rationale for this as a quick lunch break option. The pizza maker had just put two new pizzas in the oven and offered to make a new one for me. Being they had just opened 30 minutes before I opted for their already-made meat lover's pizza. It has a lot of meat on it. It heated up pretty quickly. The arugula salad actually took longer to prepare. The salad is fresh and comes with a big portabello (?) mushroom, thinly sliced, along with a vinaigrette type dressing. If I were to come back, it will likely only be for salad.

Time & Date of visit: 11/29/14 - 8pm Party Size: 4 Location/Ambiance: With most people still shopping for deals on Black Friday weekend, other then our table, there were 2 other tables of dine in. A couple of take out orders here and there. It's a very chill kind of vibe with the slightly dim lighting. The booths are some what small, mostly fits 4 average size people and still have elbow room. It was pretty chilly that night, so we requested to move from near the front to a booth closer to the kitchen. Service: Our server, which I forget his name, was impeccable. He was able to provide recommendations which turned out to be great choices. He also informed my other guests on their orders of what the ingredients included that wasn't listed on the menu on their choices. Beverage refills never were waited for as he was on top of it on every pass by at our table. All orders were brought out very well timed. Food/Beverages: Garlic Knots: Browned slightly on the top, with a warm, chewy texture on the inside. Most of the flavor is only on the top. The insides are somewhat plain, but goes well dipped in the marinara sauce. Each guest might want their own sauce for double-triple dipping though, it's going to be hard not to when trying to finish one. Buffalo Wings: About 8-10 wings, with some drum sticks here and there. Cooked well as the meat was still juicy yet the skin was crunchy. The sauce isn't mind blowing, but still pretty good. Even though the menu lists that this comes with blue cheese, our server still gave us the option of ranch or blue cheese of which we chose the former. Tagliatelle alla Romana: Just a reminder of how super awesome our server was, one dinner guest is lactose intolerant and requested if there was way that this pasta dish could be served with another kind of sauce. Request granted. A pairing of marinara sauce actually turned out well as a replacement of the rose sauce. The pieces of chicken and mushrooms were tender on each bite. A good sized portion and plenty to pack as a left overs. Lasagna pizza: (by the slice) I didn't order this myself, but two of the guests with me killed and devoured both of theirs. The slices are huge, reminiscent of size served at Fellini's. Meatball and Cheese calzone: Served with garlic knot on the side and marinara sauce. The calzone has mixture of mozzarella and ricotta cheese with the dough being slightly chewy. I thought the flavor of the meatball was ok. Though the portion size is deceiving, it's still pretty filling. Summary: We decided to try out a new/different place for pizza aside from Fellini's, and glad we made the choice to give this place a try. We might have been spoiled as at the end of the night we were the only table left. I would very recommend this place to try for pizza if you want something similar to Fellini's but a full service kind of restaurant for dinner. Unsure of how the lunch rush is though. Will visit again if in the area. Tip: GrubHub delivers for them, so get a deal with some coupon codes.

Came here to carb up the night before a 5K Spartan race. We ordered a Caesar salad, chicken marsala pasta, 12" Bianca + Margherita. Antico's is still placed as the best slice of margherita pizza I've had. Bianca was really great here though. What will really get you coming back are their garlic knots. Don't get carried away eating them and leave belly room for the pizza!
(4)Theresa H.
Had one of the greatest pizzas in Rome, so it is so unfair to rate any pizzeria here. So far nothing comes close to those I had when I was in Italy. The pizza and calzone here just very ok, Sorry! So I am going to basically just review the non-pizza items I had here that I will definitely order the next time I visit. Spaghetti alla Carbonara - the pasta and the carbonara sauce were not overly done. I was surprised it turned out really good. Tiramisu - I usually like to enjoy any of my favorite desserts all on my own, but this is something I will be happy to share. No, Piu Bello's tiramisu is not bad but actually rather awesome. It tasted like those I have gotten from those tiny family restaurants in Italy. For $5, the tiramisu portion is huge, so big that I have to share with 3 other persons. Everyone was surprised how good the tiramisu was. Definitely the place to get tiramisu!!
(4)Charity D.
Food score is a 81 and there were people behind the counter but clearly didn't want to serve so sad b.c I've been here before and it was great so disappointed this time. We just turned around and left

Great atmosphere. Great food. Not too original. Just one of those local stops where you can order in amazing food.
(4)Alan P.
So glad I found this place on Yelp. The atmosphere is casual with an Italian theme. The cashier was very friendly, he made sure everyone that came in was greeted and served in a timely manner. The food was fresh and the tomatoes especially has a very good taste. I highly recommend trying this place if you are in the area:)

It was some good pizza. Tucked into the plaza near the former "disco Kroger" this little pizza parlor was a nice discovery late on a Tuesday for dinner. We started with the Greek Salad - the server even offered to split - which was delicious. Had a medium pizza with spinach and mushrooms ... Delectable. Just the right crunch in the crust and not soggy. Lots of leftovers so we get to have cold pizza for breakfast. How cool is that?
(4)Lloyd G.
Visited this Sunday with my family!!! Great restaurant! Great food!! Family oriented!! Food came out really fast! Great service from zack!!!! Keep it up!! Really appreciate everything.
(4)VANESSA J.
The only reason they are getting two stars is merely that it came out on time as they agree an hour after I called. First the pizza was too cheesy and cold when it was delivered. Secondly the guy on the phone asking my orders assured me that they would give me plates and peppers but nothing was delivered. Not even napkins or plates. After $42 for a veggie pizza I was stuck with a cold lackluster pizza with no condiments. Avoid this place and do your self a favor

Not your typical shopping center pizza! This place truly exceeded my expectations and I am now a huge fan. I stumbled across this place when I wanted to pregame before venturing into World Market. When you go in, you have to go order up front and then you can sit down (they will come check on you after you sit down too). This is not just a pizza joint, they have a wide variety of pasta dishes, parmigianas, salads and sandwiches too. I am here for 2 slices of pepperoni pizza today, add on some extra sauce and tomatoes---and, zing! this is some pretty spectacular pizza! There was like this spongy crunch or maybe a mysterious crisp to the pizza crust--how do they do that??? The sauce was whole and flavorful. So yes, I dig this pizza. They do deliver and you can even order online, but sadly, I am a little too far out for their delivery. If I go in there at night some time, I am totally going to have to try their penne alls vodka or veal al limone. Great lunch spot complete with daily specials and definitely top notch pizza. I hope they get a second location closer to midtown/VA Highlands so I can get hooked up on the delivery trail.
(5)Travis L.
I went here with my 6 yr old and 3 yr old daughters. We had a slice of Hawaiian, 2 cheese slices and a garlic knots. Tastes great. The employee with the beard who took out order was exceptional. I would eat here again.

Love this local, casual, and friendly Italian restaurant. I've had dinner numerous times here over the past many months, and have never been disappointed! Thanks Scout Mob for turning me on to this place! Oh....BYOV!!!! In case that interests ya! Food...YUM, comfort food! They have specials everyday. I've had several; from meat filled raviolis to noodle pasta dishes. Never disappointed! Chicken Francese: My favorite! Egg battered, thin, pan fried chicken breast, in a white wine sauce, with a side of angel hair pasta.....YES PLEASE! Pizza: Whole or by the slice. Lots of cool combos of toppings available! Crunchy, thin crust, generous topping. Garlic Knots: Yes, please. Order them evety time! Service is friendly, prices are good, must try! Take out service is awesome also!
(4)David F.
Excellent casual lunch place for a huge pizza slice ($3.75) or phenomenal caprese salad ($7.95). If in the area skip the long lunch lines at Chipotle and head here. After ordering at the counter you are served at your table. Get stuffed on two slices are satisfied with one. I'm a fan of the mushroom and spinach veggie pizza. Want to avoid carbs? The caprese salad packs on huge slabs of mozzarella atop plump pieces of tomatoes. Oh, and the free WiFi is nice, too.
(4)Hr S.
Hidden gem in Buckhead! One of the best calzones with reasonable price in Atlanta. Every time I order the calzone and it never let me down! Pizza was also delicious but lasagna was not good. I recommend this place for calzone and pizza!
(4)Jonathan F.
This is a great option for mixing things up from your normal delivery food options. I personally don't like to get typical delivery food because I always feel greasy and sluggish afterwards. This place has great healthier options. I normally order the caprese salad and a grilled chicken hero sandwich. I like the mozzarella they use as it is very authentic Italian style as opposed to the awful shredded Kraft cheese. My only complaints are that the chicken is a little on the dry side and I wish there was more balsamic on the caprese. All things considered though this is a much better option that typical delivery food sonthats why it still gets 4 stars. Also, if you want some more comfort style food then they have great pasta options as well. Combine their food quality with the fact that their delivery service is very prompt and you have a solid option when you don't want to leave the house or cool yourself.
(4)Erika S.
Ordered the 16" Lasagna Pizza and garlic knots for delivery and was really impressed! The idea of putting all of the yummy lasagna flavor on a pizza is genius. Order it and and you won't be disappointed. Delicious and extremely filling.

Decided to pick up some to-go at Piu Bello on a Friday night after work, I've been here before for Lunch, but have only tried their pizza. One of my co-workers had told me that their Chicken Parmesan was good. For Dinner, they have a traditional selection of italian paste fare. I decided to try the Chicken Parmesan and the Carbonara. When I walked in, I did enjoy the store, it was clean and the pizza was laid in the front making me almost wish that I'd had just gotten Pizza. I picked up my food and took it home to try. The Chicken Parm was good, but the breading on the chicken might have been slightly charred a bit much than my personal taste. The carbonara on the other hand was very dry and didn't give the creamy heaven that is expected when you take a bite of that dish. Overall, would try again seeing as how the restaurant was very busy on the Friday night I went.
(3)Kevin K.
We walked over from our Hotel.. Super nice staff , arranged tables for our group. I was real hungry, but the food was great. We would recommend them the Klein's from Lisle, IL...
(4)Brett H.
I am going to have to come back and review this place again. The pizza I had the first time was good. It was a pepperoni pizza which was good. The problem though is that I got a size that was way too much for me. I would try this place again but its solid pizza.
(3)Culinary P.
We ordered a large pizza and Had them delivered it to our hotel it was piping hot just out of the oven ! Super fresh ingredients, we loved it !
(5)Preeti M.
Great, friendly service every time. They deliver within Buckhead so always convenient and their pizza reminds me of the slices I would get back home in NYC. Pastas are good. Salads are a bit too drenched in dressing but you can always order it on the side to avoid that. Good convenient spot!
(5)Meredith M.
We decided to try Piu Bello when we rented an apartment nearby as our house was being renovated. In the one month we lived there we ordered from here four or five times (I lost count). It's so good!! Everything we've had is delicious, the portions are healthy and it's priced right. They might have the best tiramisu I've EVER had.
(5)Denise D.
Great food, large portions, one serving is good for two or three.. Food is very heavy so if you're eating light go for a salad. For delivery call the business.
(4)James M.
Great food! Get the lasagna pizza, it's delicious!! The staff are super friendly and helpful! If I lived local this would be my new favorite pizza place!
(5)Linda M.
This is my go to spot since its next to hotel I am staying and within walking distance Pizza: margarita pizza is the best not greasy perfect combination of dough and toppings Philly steak sandwich: nice and soft Tomato basil soup: not too sour nice and thick and came with nice warm bread fresh salad when you order their daily special shrimp ravioli
(5)Kimi F.
This place is great! I order it for delivery a lot and the food is always consistent and arrives in a timely manner. The pizza is good, but the Caesar salad and spaghetti pomodoro are delicious. Mozarella sticks really aren't that great. Go for the pasta and salad! Always happy to order from here again.
(4)Carrie W.
I go to a lot of Italian restaurants, and I have to say, this place has the best Lasagna I've ever had. Fresh sauce, not canned. The pizza is great too. The only downside were the salads. The Cesar Salad was okay, but the tossed salad was strange....didn't even look like a salad.
(4)Jim P.
A great lunch where for the first time I had a slice of Lasagna pizza. Owner always present, order your slice at the counter and delivered to your table minutes later. Definitely a good spot!
(5)The DC V.
Blown away! Came on yelp to find the best delivery and this is certainly the best pizza I've had in Atlanta. I will stay faithful to these guys. I read some prior reviews that complained about the toppings. I just got pepperoni and cheese which was killer.
(5)Kimberly P.
We once got a pizza from here. We waited, for pickup, for 50 minutes longer than we were told to be there. We then both got upset stomachs from it (I had to toss out leftovers in fear of feeling ill again). It may have just been because it was too greasy, but it didn't matter. I'm from New York, and would go to mellow mushroom over this. Needless to say, we didn't get a pizza from here twice.
(1)Nestor R.
Freshly prepared Italian classics! Great, friendly service! I can't believe we just discovered this unassuming, strip center restaurant. Last night we started with fried Calamari. Lightly breaded, all rings - tasty! I had the Chicken Arabiato. It was delicious and spicy. I sopped the sauce up with bread. My wife had the lasagna. Very good. We are back for two more menu items. I see us becoming regulars here.
(5)Leigh F.
Great calzone and caesar salad! My sister had chicken Parmesan, which she said was awesome with large portions. Reasonably priced Italian food in Midtown Atlanta. Would definitely come back (probably tomorrow). Go, you won't be disappointed !
(5)Tina W.
Pizza: Crispy crust. Favorful and plentiful toppings. Pasta: Perfectly al dente. Perfectly sauced. Check: $40 for a family of 4.
(5)Scott F.
I was not very impressed with my first visit to Piu Bello. I ordered a slice of pizza and the calamari. The slice was quite crispy and the topping seemed light. I like to use a knife and fork, which was very difficult. The calamari was not too bad. It was lightly battered and fried just as it should be, accompanied by marinara and plenty of lemon. I was disappointed when I discovered the tea is not fresh but comes from one of those fountains with a concentrate that doesn't taste like natural brewed tea. I was offered no silverware, and no refill of my drink (why did I tip at the register?) during the meal. Maybe they should just stick to delivery as the restaurant table service wasn't very great.
(2)Jana H.
Nothing spectacular, but not terrible either. I've dined in once, and ordered delivery another time. The pizza is decent, and I love that they offer slices - It's a great option when you're with a group that all wants something different! The salad is pretty solid, an it has a good mixture of toppings (cucumbers, carrots, a few olives, etc). When I ordered delivery, I ordered the gnocchi with marinara. While the sauce was tasty, I was pretty underwhelmed by the dish as a whole, but it was much better once I spiced it up with some fresh basil and shredded Asiago cheese from my fridge. This is a good choice if you are looking for a casual dinner or a place that delivers in the area, but it's not a place I would take out of town guests or go out of my way to eat there.
(3)Rebecca O.
Pretty good pizza. It reminds me a lot of Blue Moon, which is not too far. One thing that sets their pizza apart is they have a really crispy crust. The end crust tasted like it had some rosemary in it, which was a nice surprise. The ordering process is a little confusing, as the just have pizza pies laid out with no indication as to what each is. Deductive reasoning can usually help here, but I feel like I would've gotten something that I really wanted rather than picking something that looked familiar. The garlic knots are tasttttyy. I think it was around $3.50 for 5 of them. They remind me a little of those Red Lobster biscuits, but in roll form and with lots of garlic. The prices are a little high for a slice ($3-4), especially with super cheap slices down the road at Fellini's. The entrees were more like $10-20.
(4)Van H.
Laid back atmosphere. Friendly service. New York style, southern charm. Calzones were freakin' awesome
(4)Barry V.
Great pizza. Not quiet New York pizza as advertised, but good to be in Atlanta. Just a little thicker than new york pizza. Great taste and crust.
(4)Carrie Neal W.
Solid. I happened to be in the neighborhood today and pizza just sounded good. I'd never been before so I went with one of my two favorite things to try at any new-to-me pizza place - classic cheese or mushroom with extra cheese. I went with the latter and it was delicious, from crust to cheesy-ness. Nice, inexpensive lunch when you're in this 'hood. Now I'll go spend all my money at whatever Disco Kroger calls itself now . . .
(4)Nemil S.
I was around the lenox area and craved some pizza (antico) so I used my handy yelp app and looked up nearby pizza places and this little guy popped up with good reviews. I walked up to the counter where they have a sbarro-like window that has their pizza, calzones, etc. laid out for you to see. The pizza looked like it had been sitting out there for a little while, although I did come at an odd time which is probably the reason. I ended up ordering a slice of cheese, pepperoni, and spinach calzone (too much food for one meal). By the time I got home the food was still warm to eat, so I started on the calzone and it was great but the dough was a little salty for my taste. The next bite I tried with marinara sauce and WOW! The marinara is DELICIOUS! The calzone, about 1/2 the size of mellow mushroom's calzone, was well stuffed with spinach and cheese, and something I would come back to eat. The cheese pizza was decent, but again, the dough a little salty. It gave me a fellinis feel in taste, but perhaps a little better. I can't comment on the pepperoni pizza too much because I ate it later that night straight out of the refrigerator.....but it was good :). I ended up paying ~15 for 2 slices of pizza and a calzone which is decent. Overall I was satisfied with my lunch and would come back if in the area.
(3)Rebecca K.
Worst pizza ever. I ordered a pizza with chicken, spinach and mushrooms, which I believe all came from a can. I expected fresh, leaf spinach and what I got was wet, globs of chopped spinach. The mushrooms were from a jar- grey and chewy. The chicken was scarce and when you did find a piece amongst the can of spinach on top, it left a lot to be desired. If you want one expensive spinach pie from a can, this is your place!
(1)Shalin P.
We came here to use the ScoutMob. Unfortunately they were sold out of the Garlic Knots that others have raved about it. We shared a medium garlic pizza (Medium is 6 large slices and a large is 8 large slices). The sauce was on the sweet side for me, but the cheese was good quality. Overall, a pretty solid but not stellar slice of pizza. Service was a little off. I ordered a Greek Salad to start and it still hadn't arrived when the pizza came. I told the waitress to cancel the salad order and she seemed annoyed about it. I think they were slammed due to the ScoutMob. The space is not very large but there are a decent amount of tables and booths. They also have a TV on for sports.
(3)Trillvia P.
Really great customer service with the server and cashier. I stumbled in here, after my usual drop in at SK next door. The pizza slices are huge and I love the calzones as well. It has a very sub, Quiznos feel to it - spacey and super casual. They offer free WiFi but I've never sat in to use it. Four stars because I can't gauge the pricing - not familiar with buying by the slice anywhere else.
(4)Christina K.
This review is a bit late as I came for lunch about 2 months ago. It was my first time here, and as I walked in to a half-crowded dining room and made my way to the counter to see the pizzas on display I was worried that all of their pizzas would be premade and cold. I am always cautious when a business says they have New York Style Pizza because I have been served a wedge of cardboard with greasy cheese splattered across too many times to count. I ordered 2 slices of basically their meat lover's pie and added in a few additional toppings. Again, I was a little leary when I saw that the guy picked up 2 premade slices that were behind the display case, put my toppings on them and slid them under the salamander. Oh boy I thought, another tasteless cardboard for lunch I thought. Service was pretty good and quick, but you do order at the counter and refill your own drinks so that cuts down on wait time. Don't expect the staff to be very friendly, I kinda had a split second fear that the guy would turn into the soup nazi from Seinfield as we were waiting for the slices to warm up. I picked a seat and within a few minutes, was presented with 2 huge slices of pizza. I cut into a piece with my fork and was happy to hear a good crunch as it cut through the crust. Biting into it, I was amazed that it was not only edible, but pretty delicious and hot! Not the best, but not the worse by far either.
(3)Sabrina C.
All I can say is wow, this place is so yummy. I'm going back everyday while I out here. The service and the food is beyond wonderful.
(4)John N.
BEST Spaghetti I have had in a long time - well presented and prepared at a reasonable price. WORST service I have had in a long time. At 7:15pm on 7/3 there were only -2- servers available, and a full house of patrons. Many patrons were complaining about incorrect orders, long wait times, etc. I personally had to wait 30+ minutes for my food (simple order). The male server was trying to do his best, but was definitely overwhelmed. And, the female server was rude, and lost track of tables (again, overheard complaints from other tables, and as I walked back to my table from soda machine, she was coming my way and stated "watch out" as she barreled by me. The fact that management understaffed the property is not the 2 servers fault - however that is no excuse for bad service. Also, when you enter the property, there is no indication of whether you are to sit anywhere, wait to be seated, order at the counter or order at the register (several of us waited in a line for 4-5min, thinking we were getting ready to order, only to be told that we were suppose to sit and order).....need signage to indicate that - and again, patience from the staff with the patrons is a must for such great food. Again, food great!!

We are in town for the Peachtree Road Race and were feeling too lazy to escape our beautiful Intercontinental room for dinner. I looked up Italian restaurants since we need to carb load and stumbled across this place. Very easy to order online, extremely fast delivery and the penne ala vodka is amazing. The eggplant Parmesan was a little salty and too done. Tiramisu rounded out the meal and was probably the best part of the dinner. Highly recommend this place!
(4)Lauralee B.
Very nice place! The waiter was very friendly and the food was delicious! You must get the garlic knots!
(4)Shiv S.
Whenever we are in Atlanta this is a must for our family. Food is excellent. My highest recommendation!!
(5)Michael A.
This was by far the best pizza I have had in Atlanta. I have been searching since I moved here in November. My family is from NYC. And New Jersey so I know pizza and Italian food. My father is straight of the boat. This pizza was PERFECT NYC pizza. I have been going crazy since I moved here because I could not find one pizza place that satisfied my longing for a true New York style pizza. I was just shopping and randomly saw this restaurant and stopped in and I can say that I was pleasantly surprised and happy with my gran the pizza was true NY pizza. Ill definitely be coming back. A hidden treasure in Atlanta to me for sure! !!
(5)Jenny J.
We were so happy to find a place that delivers a real meal! It's not your average greasy and overly creamy Italian. The salads are nice and there are plenty of healthier options. I love the pasta primavera. And they deliver!!!
(5)Chelsea S.
My co-workers and I were looking for a new lunch spot and stumbled upon Piu Bello. This restaurant was such a great find! It's very small and cozy on the inside. We went at 12:30 and it was packed. The staff was very helpful for us first timers . The pizza was not greasy and had great flavor. My co-workers and I will definitely be returning!

Pros - 1. The food is good and they use quality ingredients. 2. The owner/manager is very nice and professional. Cons - 1. They get 4/5 to go orders wrong 2. The rest of the staff is apathetic. On my latest order, called and told the girl who answered the phone that my order was wrong. She asked if I liked the mistake order and then told me I was wrong and they gave me beef, which was clearly chicken. She did nothing to remedy the situation. Although the food is good, does that make up for not getting what you ordered? hmmm

We moved to Atlanta from NYC and this is seriously the closest thing we have found to yummy NY Italian food. Pizza is great and our favorite is the Chicken Parm with the salad. I love love the salad!! Everything is good here. Haven't found a place even close yet... Great job guys! You make living away from our Italian family a little easier. :-)
(5)Erica B.
I wandered over here to waste some time while traffic on Piedmont was exploding. So, so, so, so good! The chicken parm is both enormous and perfect. Comes with a hefty side salad and soft garlic bread. The marinara far surpassed initial expectations. Wait staff was polite, courteous, and attentive.

Apparently "Piu Bello" means "More Beautiful" but it's kinda hard to say aloud w/o being a little embarrassed :) I'd heard good stuff about this place, plus my friend's two NY friends said they thought this place had the best NY style pizza in Atlanta. I'm no pizza expert but I like their pizza, too. I ordered a slice last wk, and today ordered pizzas for carry-out. Last week we dined in, and I got a slice of the Spinach & Artichokes for $3.50. Loved it. Service was good. One of my friends said he orders take-out from Piu Bello all the time. They also sell salads, heroes, pasta (family-style), entrees, and calzones. Very casual - perfect setup for families. Tonight I ordered 3 large pizzas for carry-out. Process went smoothly - they even provided paper plates. Everything tasted good. The pizza does become soggier if you eat it 30 minutes later but that's not a surprise. I definitely enjoyed their pizza more last week - might have to do with the pizza toppings, too. I love artichokes :) Their large is "very large" and 3 large pizzas for 13 people turned out to be just the right amount. FYI - I did do some comparison shopping between Piu Bello & Mellow Mushroom, and here are some factors that pushed me toward PB: - S/M/L pizzas are about the same price, but PB pizzas are 2" larger (12"/16"/18" vs. 10"/14"/16"). - Extra toppings on PB pizza is $.25 less - No crowded parking problems at PB - Supporting the local guy Overall I'd give them 3.5 stars. Next time I'd like to try their salads & pastas.

Great pizza! The best in Atlanta. I highly recommend this pizza joint.
(5)Cori V.
wow. I understand the saying "It's like getting punched in the mouth with awesome!" super fast. crisp crust. they have some pizza by the slice ready to order. I ordered a ham and pineapple slice. husband ordered a bacon, jalepeno, and chicken slice. they didn't have a slice of that ready so cooked him one. very fast. my ready to go slice was just as crisp and hot with yummy gooey cheese as his just made slice. excellent food. we also tried the garlic knots which is a must for garlic lovers. yUm server was very nice and fast as well. we are here visiting or we would definately be regulars! locates in the shopping center with Kroger.
(5)Bobby D.
This place was good. The Greek salad was good having lots of veggies and feta. The garlic knots were good. They were baked and weren't swimming in a pool of oil. Finally the pizza exceeded my expectations. The texture of the dough was good, slightly chewy, although a bit on the salty side. The sauce was plentiful and the toppings were generous. Pretty solid.

This may be the best kept secret in Buckhead. I've had it on three separate occasions. The first two times, I ordered takout pizza, and was impressed with both the taste and the quality of the pizza. But the best experience I've had with them came yesterday, when my girlfriend and I were looking for a place to eat before going to AMC Phipps. We like their pizza a lot and saw online that they had a full service Italian menu. We ended up ordering a meatball calzone, garlic knots, and eggplant parmesan. The garlic knots were well made, though they're kind of hard to screw up. The marinara was obviously made in house and was delicious. The calzone was the best I've had in quite some time. There was a perfect balance of ricotta and mozzarella cheese, and the meatballs were seasoned well and extremely tender. I was jealous though, I can't lie. My girlfriend's eggplant parmesan was outstanding. It came with two giant pieces of eggplant covered in their house marinara and melted mozzarella. Off to the side was one of the best parts of the whole experience - fresh made linguine with marinara. As the very attentive and kind server let us know, their pastas are all made in house every day, along with their sauces. This place is definitely a favorite of mine, and living behind Phipps, I'll continue to go here any time I have a hankering for pizza or any Italian food. Reasonably priced, and outstanding food.
(5)Karen L.
Ordered pizza and garlic knots for delivery. Driver was extremely friendly and engaging. Food just ok. Nothing special. Next time I will try something other than pizza.
(2)Greg R.
I was not impressed. The food is very institutional. Does not taste freshly made in my opinion.
(2)Dio S.
There isn't much to say about this place. I came to eat here only because my office is across the street. The way the place and food looked it's not really all that different from a mall food court pizza place to me, but it's overall pretty clean and comfortable to be inside. I had a slice each of cheese mushroom and pepperoni. Pretty big, thin slices. I did not like the sweet, pasty tomato sauce. The pizzas are uninspiring but not terrible. In this area, I'd rather go to Tartufo or Buckhead Pizza, both are within walking distance.
(2)Ricardo C.
The only place opened around our hotel during a chaotic day caused by the so called "Winterstorm" in Atlanta. Nice pizza, nice pasta and really nice breadsticks. Thanks!!
(5)Stevie C.
As a New Yorker, I'm not quite sure why I wanted pizza again South of the Mason-Dixon Line. I should have learned from my Florida experience. The crust isn't too bad...it was actually pretty tasty. However, the sauce is just a smidge too sweet for my liking. The garlic knots are just as great as everyone says. I also had my first cranberry sprite...you guys down here get all the great coke products!
(3)Lynne S.
I went to Piu Pizza today for lunch with an old friend. We both had pizza and both of them were very good. I saw other food and it looked great and so did the salad. I will be back to try something else. Oh and the service was great. The server let us sit and talk after we finished eating and she never rushed us out. Thanks for that.
(4)Shelby S.
Great pizza, more doughy than I'd like. It reminds me of the boardwalk slices in Jersey. Quick and tasty lunch.
(5)Rick F.
Quick lunch after going to the bank next door! Meat Lovers Slice of Pizza and Soup. Pizza was good and service was great! Soup on the other hand left much to be desired Pasta Faigoli, the beans need to be cooked a little more.
(3)Ben M.
Decent pizza but nothing special
(2)Reagan C.
Came in to pick up take out. Excellent spaghetti and meatballs. Good service.
(4)Theresa S.
The pizza and chicken parm was good. One of the better pizzerias in Atlanta. The crust was a tad thick but not a major detractor. Cheese and sauce....solid.
(4)Danny C.
This place is absolutely phenomenal! Goodbye Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Dominos, and Little Caesars! I can truly say with all honesty that this is by far the best pizza I've had in Atlanta since living here. I consider myself quite the foodie so I know good food. The pizza here is just perfect. The crust and the pizza itself is perfectly toasted. As far as the toppings, fresh fresh fresh FRESH! I guarantee anybody who is in the mood for a slice or even a pie, you will leave satisfied. Any kind of chicken slice is DELICIOUS! Nice strips of chicken all over your pizza will leave you wanting more, and may I say the chicken is juicy to! Another favorite is their Chicken Parmigiana! I can never go wrong with that dish! Overall this place is great! I've came here with parties of 15+ and I always call ahead of time to see if they can set us up and they all say yes. No if, ands or buts. Their service is great. Matt has always attended my party and he has done a phenomenal job! Always alert and ready to serve/help with anything. I can write much more about this place but I don't want to bore you all. Try it yourself! You will not be let down. Hands down some of the yummiest pizza in Atlanta. Oh I almost forgot, the place is also kept very well cleaned. That's another plus! Will continue coming here as long as I stay in Atlanta!
(5)Romy K.
Solid food - not excellent, but above average - at least in terms of pasta - didn't try the pizza yet. The poor waitress (only one on a Saturday night!) also had to hostess, answer the phone and run the cash register - so service was a little slow, but she handled the whole restaurant well. But really - owner - you need to staff your place better.
(4)Jada G.
A-ok for one visit. 3.5 stars. I was kind of confused about whether to order at the counter or at my booth. I ordered the spaghetti pomodoro, a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese. Then for checking-in using my yelp app I got a free order of garlic knots. They were actually pretty tasty. To my surprise, and disappointment, it wasn't that much garlic taste to them. The spaghetti was good, nothing special. The sauce didn't taste homemade or dolled up. The basil was a nice touch. The pasta was cooked al dente. The cheese pizza was great. Cheesy, crispy crust. Omg it was good. $2.50/slice. Will I go back? Sure! It was good:-) I liked how they had a variety of pastas to suite everyone's tastes. I'm certainly a fan
(4)Tammy T.
We like the pizza and the garlic knots. Oh, the garlic knots. If we're in a hurry, we grab slices. These are right at the counter, and you can customize a slice if you don't see what you want on display. I prefer the pizza freshly baked, and so rate their fresh-from-the-oven zas a bit higher than the individual slices. That's to be expected though. The service is always quick and friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. They have fountain and bottled drinks (including sparkling water), and I think they have alcohol, too. We've only had their pizza, but they have a variety of pasta dishes, daily specials listed on a chalkboard at the entrance, and calzones. And the garlic knots. Which are just basically knots of yeasty bread, with butter, garlic and maybe a sprinkling of parmesan cheese, served piping hot. Each knot is about the size of a plum, and you get five or six with an order. The price is reasonable, and it's become one of our go-to pizza places in Buckhead.
(4)Mike F.
My wife and I ate here for lunch on a weekend trip to Atlanta. We were in the mood for pizza and thought we'd let Yelp find us a nearby (and favorably reviewed!) place to satisfy that craving. Luck was on our side as it led us to this little gem. We started off with some garlic knots, which were quite delicious. As another reviewer has mentioned, if you are a garlic fan you will not be disappointed. After stuffing them down, we moved on to the pizza. What can I say that hasn't already been said? It was fantastic! The crust was just the right consistency with a bit of crisp, and the sauce had a good balance of spice and zest. I continued eating long after I should have stopped; it was just that good. You can puchase a whole pizza (as we did), or by the slice. They had several different pizzas ready to go by the slice, so it's likely that you will find what you want with little wait. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was a bit above what I have come to expect from the usual take-out pizza joints. All in all, this was a great experience and I highly recommend giving this place a try!
(5)Mick D.
I've never been disappointed here. Piu Bello always hits the spot. The pizza is always fresh and tasty. There are folks who call this thin-crust creation a New York Style pizza, and it may be worthy of that praise. The garlic knots are good, and might inspire you to sing. Service is super fast. Salads are not small, and they are made fresh. Plus, they do have other non-pizza entrees, heroes, pasta, and other genre-related goodness. Holler if you want some company.
(4)Alex R.
I first went to this place when it opened a few years back. I thought I'd give it a shot. My gf and I each got a few slices of pizza. BLECH!!!!!!!! It was god awful. I thought the "piu" part of its name was appropriate. the service was not friendly either. and it was expensive!!! I used to LOVE elwoods in brookhaven but sadly, that place is gone. So, recently I was looking for a good wop place (teehee) to take some friends who were in from out of town and lo and behold, it got such good reviews on yelp that after searching some more, I finally decided to give them a shot again. Very glad I did. That first experience must have been an anomaly of some kind. The pizza is great! Been back there about 4 times since and I had a calzone and it was kickass too! I will say its not cheap. The calzone is about half the size of what you get at mellow mushroom or your average pizza place HOWEVER....the quality is excellent. I am about to go there again tonight with another friend from out of town and will try their pasta. Based on the few reviews of the pasta, it seems they make it fresh daily so I'm pumped to try it. I'll report back if it doesnt deserve a 5 star review. But overall, I'm extremely diggin this joint. Service is good, could be friendlier. I would love to see a big fat italian dude greet me with a big smile and a robust "bon journo!!!" when I come in instead of a cool but not overly warm white boy and some mexicans working the kitchen. I only would like to see that to make it match that silly stereotypic ideal in my head. The bottom line is that it tastes great so I'm now a big fan! Enjoy
(5)Ashanti D.
Really enjoyed the experience. Very small and intimate. AWESOME salads and pizza. Oh my gosh! And they accept Groupon! I'm definitely going back.
(5)Yeme T.
Authentic New York Pizza! My shopaholic twin sister was in the Haircare Professionals next door and she was taking forever as usual. I was super hungry so I walked around the shopping center in search of something to eat. I noticed that David K had a bunch of check ins here so I figured this place had to be pretty good and boy was it! A filling slice of pizza will run you about $3 and it is delicious.
(4)Mark F.
I can understand why folks keep coming back. the pizza is as close to a NY pie that you're going to find in the region. The sauce is authentic and just the right consistency. The price is right and the folks are very friendly. I've been back already and I've only been here a week. there's a list of ingredients that you can put on your pie, but I really liked the simple marguerite. The eggplant is good, but they'd be ahead if they would slice it a little thinner. But the breading and sauce are excellent.
(4)Jamie W.
This place was perfect for the quick lunch breaks I had! The pizza by the slice is cheap and delicious -- I could pay for my meal with a $5 dollar bill! As a girl who travels between Atlanta and NY often, I can say this has come closest so far to the pie there. The dine-in dinner service was also very good. The waitress was so helpful and the food came out pretty quickly! It's a little difficult to stumble upon but I'm glad I did.

After no luck with a ridiculously long search for restaurants that delivered during regular dinner hours, we FINALLY found Piu Bello. We were hungry so we ordered more than we could eat, but that's not the point. The estimated time they gave us for our food was 45 min. The point is that they were late about 15 min from the time they said it would arrive. Finally, the delivery guy showed up and apologized because he was sent out the door with only a portion of our order. He apologized many times and said that the pizza was on it's way now and that he would give us a call when he got back to the restaurant and verify that they had removed the the charge for the pizza! This to me, is great service. Not only was the food delicious, but they fixed a mistake that they made without the customer having to complain about it. I call this a great restaurant. I hope that they continue to service Atlanta in the same way. Everyone should check out Piu Bellos and support a great place. Try their Minestrone soup. You won't regret it. Thanks for the awesome food and service, Piu Bello!
(5)Krista S.
After living in New York I wasn't sure I would be able to find pizza as good as that down here. Piu Bello surpassed all of my expectations. Closest thing to real NY pizza in ATL. I recommend trying the portobello mushroom pizza!!
(5)Betsy C.
I can't say enough great things about Piu Bello! I am addicted to their spaghetti and meatballs! FRESH and so delicious! The friendly customer service and atmosphere makes a great dining experience! My boyfriend loves their meatball pizza by the slice! I can't leave without mentioning the garlic knots! YUMMY! I highly recommend!
(5)Dreamkar W.
I've ordered from this restaurant (delivery) a few times in the past without incident (food was decent and delivered pretty timely)...HOWEVER, the last time I ordered put such a bad taste in my mouth, I may not ever order from them again!! The delivery driver called me once inside my complex and proceeded to tell me he's completely lost (which in intself was confusing, as all buildings and apartments are very clearly marked, and no other delivery driver has ever gotten lost while delivering my food--and I order delivery from several places about once a week). Needless to say, I proceeded to give him explicit directions to my door over the phone...when he rudely cuts me off midstream and tells me that he's tired of driving around looking for my apartment and that I need to COME OUTSIDE AND FIND HIM TO SHOW HIM WHERE I LIVE!! Shocked and trying to gain my composure at his request, I again began to try and direct him to where I lived, only for him to reply that "If I wasn't going to come outside and help him find me, then oh well," then he HUNG UP on me!! At this point, I was not only mortified, but assumed he had left with my food (that I had already prepaid for online), so I called the restaurant to report what had just happened. As I was describing to them the events and the driver's actions, my doorbell rings and I open it. Lo and behold, it's the delivery guy. He hands me my food, rolls his eyes at me (I guess he's still upset that I didn't come outside to FIND HIM AND ESCORT HIM TO MY DOOR with MY FOOD) and walks away. I have never in my life experienced such rudeness and poor customer service, and unfortunately, one "bad apple" from this restaurant has pretty much spoiled the bunch for me. Probably not going to take a chance on them again. Disgusted Customer

As two people used to neighborhood Italian joints growing up, my husband and I have been desperately seeking a good, small everyday pizza restaurant. It took us almost 2 years, but here it is: Piu Bello. We ordered the house salad, chicken parm entree with pasta and a large cheese pizza. The chicken parm and spaghetti was the best I've had in Atlanta. Better than fancy, overpriced Nino's and Alfredo's. The green salad was a good portion and had sliced onions, green olives, carrots and cucumbers. The dressing it came with had the perfect balance of acidity and spices. The reason I gave this a 4 star rating is the pizza. Delicious and crispy, but it just wasn't as good as the other two items. Either way, the service was great (table service for dinner, maybe counter for lunch but not sure), the food was delish and the ambience was perfect for a casual night out with the family.
(4)Mary S.
Great cheese pizza slices!! Closest to a NY slice from a New Yorker (Husband's words). Always friendly and nice service as well.
(5)Ryan C.
Pizza by the slice for lunch is great. Walkable from the Terminus 100 building. The BBQ chicken pizza was a once a week type order and the restaurant while small, had a great Italian feel to it.
(4)E N.
People - They deliver! Take Papa Johns off the speed dial for your Friday night pizza fix! A real NY style pizzeria. Hand tossed... really made on site... yummy pizza brought to your door. Also, if you're out and about and need a quick slice, it's a classic neighborhood spot. (Watch out Fellini's...Did I mention Piu Bello delivers??)
(5)Skape Z.
This is a great no frills pizza lunch spot. The pizza is great and they serve it up fast. The meat lovers pizza has a ton of meat on it. The garlic knots are really garlicky and delicious. There is really not much more to say. Good pizza, good price and fast.
(4)Adam M.
Just had a pepperoni pizza, but I was greatly impressed. Maybe not quite as good as Nancy's or Fellini's but definitely within the same ballpark and worth checking out.
(4)Reñeta J.
After reading the reviews on here, I thought that I would try the chicken marinara. I was disappointed, although I would come back due to their great customer service, yet I'd try something else.
(3)Ben O.
Five decent garlic knots... $2. Delicious cheesy slice of margherita pizza... $3.50. Enjoying it in front of Weight Watchers... priceless. I will be back. Their specialty slices don't skimp on the toppings in quality or quantity, and are fairly priced.
(4)Priscilla B.
I just stopped in to get a slice of the lasagna pizza during lunch. As soon as I got back to my desk at work, I started in on it....OMG, this is the BEST crust I have tasted thus far in Atlanta!! I can't even describe it, but I will definitely be going back for more! :-) yummy yummy

So me and couple girlfriends wanted to grab a snack, not a huge meal or anything, and one suggested Piu Bello. I was a bit skeptical at first, having never heard of it, I was like hmm ok lets try this pizza joint out. Its tucked away in the strip mall that has the Kroger and Jamison Shaw salon, definitely easy to miss with the big names in the plaza. I was excited to see we could order by slice, I ordered a slice of pepperoni and we all shared the garlic knot.. The garlic knots were amazing, do not leave without trying it, but please avoid it if you are meeting up with the "significant" other, its is infused with garlic and leaving you needed to brush after but the taste and smell is amazingggg. :) The price was pretty decent and it was a very casual place. We ended up sitting there for hours and no one bothered us or asked us to leave, even though we were done eating. I was pleased and will definitely be back when I am feeling snackish again :)
(3)Nicole B.
No complaints here. The pizza was good. They serve slices. That made me happy because sometimes you just want a slice... ya know? I had two supreme slices and a fountain drink for 10 bucks. I will say that I really don't think any place should charge more than $1.50 for a fountain drink. Piu Bello's are like 2 bucks. The prices for slices are good. I think they have gone up maybe by .25 since they've opened. As long as they don't hit 4 bucks i'm cool. I will probably visit this place every now and then when I want pizza. It's just a few blocks from where I live so it's a place I could definitely frequent. **I grew up in Kansas City and no place tops Minsky's in my book when it comes to pizza.**
(3)Michelle T.
I am also hesitant when a restaurant boosts "NY style" anything. However, when I tasted this pizza today, I almost forgot I was in GA. I gave up on trying to find pizza that tastes good in GA. The crust was a little too thin for my liking, but still nontheless good! The sauce was just right and the cheese amount great. This pizza was so good (and huge) that I had to have a second plate. I would absolutely positively order from Piu Bello again.
(5)Adam S.
Got some decent pepperoni slices at this place mostly because it was less than a mile from my hotel. The pizza itself was ok. Thin slices that are basically new york style. They were not particularly memorable though. On a positive note, I asked for 3 slices and received 4. That was a nice surprise.
(3)Jessica M.
Solid lunch spot. Little busy usually but nothing here is bad. Even the salad here that I get is bad with nice colorful lettuce and topped well and has great dressing. Big on business lunch so be prepared to wait a minute while ordering at counter.
(4)vonn t.
My co strugglers and I snuck away from work Tuesday and went to Piu. BEST DECISION EVER!!!!! We got there around 11:40 ish and our orders were immediately taken, we had those deliciously wicked garlic knots for 2 bucks! I got the spinach pizza slice and before I knew what happened it was gone. The crust is thin and crispy and warm and buttery and the cheese is all oooeeeyy goooey and the spinach is just enough so you feel as if you are eating healthy! My co workers got the pepperoni slices and they enjoyed them as well. The wait time was less than 5 minutes, we ate, we laughed, we got more garlic knots and were back on the road to the job under 40 minutes. It was well worth the 50 cent toll to and fro to break up the same ole same ole blah's that is Perimeter Center! Piu ROCKS
(4)Curt O.
Found this place in a strip mall near the hotel. A real gem. Ordered the Meatball parmigiana with salad and a housemade vianagerertte dressing. I try meatball sandwiches whenever I can. This one was right on up there with some of the best. Sub Shop in Columbia, Missouri is still my number 1 favorite. Service here was friendly, knowledgable, and good 4 rating for achieving their goal - good fresh Italian food, served quickly at a reasonable price.
(4)Jennifer C.
I have no complaints. I've eaten there three times since moving to Buckhead in November, and I've been pleased each time. I am super picky when it comes to pizza (I'm from Philly), so I was surprised when I actually loved the pizza I had. It's a cute little spot and they're always friendly. Not exactly cheap eats, but then again, it's Buckhead...8% tax in that shopping center I believe...
(4)Ari M.
Me and about 6 co-workers have been going here since last year, and we've had enough and it's mostly revolving around accuracy in orders. They're also not consistent (at least with us they haven't been.) in taste and overall quality. Today, we had 8 orders and nearly half of them were not done correctly or as ordered. Spinach slices had what looked like ricotta cheese on them when they've never had it before. Veggie slices were totally different. The woman at the counter didn't seem too interested in serving us when we picked up the orders, even showing agitation to my co-worker when a question was asked about an order. We've all decided that Nancy's or Fellini's provide better service and food and that's where we'll spend our money.
(2)Kelly O.
I ran in here last night on a whim, as I was on the way to Jason's Deli, but not really in the mood for a sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised, because I was hungry and this was a quick option. They have the available slices sitting up front ready to be heated up for you, which is nice, because you can see what you are ordering. I got a slice with chicken and tomatoes and the tres colores salad, both very good. I agree with Coco P., compared to Fellini's better prices and much quicker service overall!
(3)steph p.
Best $3.50 I've spent in a while! Jumped in here just to try it- got a slice of Mushroom, Pepper, Broccoli and added grilled chicken to go. DELISH! and very filling. much better than a "value meal number 2 for $5.50". Not sure about the rest of the entree items. am looking forward to going back and trying many things. it's unfortunate there are so many negative review so far! i will update my review after i try some more things. if you are in the area and want a quick tasty bite- go here! ** they are starting delivery 9 jan 2009! UPDATE- ordered two pies, pepperoni, and some chicken one-- not great. not bad and better than dominios but not fellini quality! crust was tasteless.
(3)Kyle B.
I visited here with several of my co-workers for lunch the other day. While it's not the best pizza I've ever had, it was pretty good for the price. I got a slice of the "lasagna" pizza, which is a heavily topped thick slice of pizza. You can order any of their pasta dishes, or a slice right off the bar in front of you and then they'll heat it up. If salad is your thing, they have that too. The restaurant is pretty small, but it seems like a lot of business is to go, so finding a place to sit during the middle of lunch rush wasn't that bad of a deal. The service was pretty quick, especially with the pizzas... with my party, it seemed like the hardest thing to cook was the spaghetti with meat balls, as that took the longest of any of the dishes. I would definitely return here if in the area again, but would not make a special trip to eat here.
(3)Danielle D.
Yum, this place is great! The garlic knots were good but a but chewy. I would have really liked them except previous reviewers made it sound like they're all that (and a bag of chips), so I was pretty excited about them. Pizza is great. I WILL be back.
(5)Nancy C.
Wow, finally delivery that is hot and fresh. My lasagna pizza was done very well- sauce and dough were fresh and ricotta and beef were combined perfectly. The delivery employee was exceptionally professional and clearly dedicated to his product. The best!
(5)Clark S.
Great pizza! Some of the best, if not the best, in Atlanta.
(4)food b.
This place has NEVER delivered a pizza to us in under an hour. Our office is less than a 1/2 mile from them. In addition, they lack the skill to actually get an order correct. The late pizza is always cold and the driver is unapologetic. It's our own fault for using them for lunch again. We won't make this mistake again. Good riddance.

I'm new to the area and have been searching for a decent pizza place. I spotted Piu Bello as I was leaving Kroger and figured I'd give it a shot. The service was extremely friendly. I just wanted a slice of Margherita and when I told the guy he said if I could wait 2 extra minutes he'd have a fresh one coming out of the oven. Who am I to turn down a slice that hasn't been reheated? The pizza was good and I'm giving them an extra star for the old man who offered to buy my bottle of coke for smiling at him.

Piu Bello just opened, so it is hard to determine the quality just yet. I'm sure they are working out some kinks judging on what I tasted. This is a typical pizza joint in the Disco Kroger lot, at least it is another pizza joint in pizza joint starved Buckhead. Pros: right balance of cheese/sauce, sauce not too sweet, real pizza ovens Cons: lack of cheese quality, the crust has a weird texture, kinda like a pastry/flakey and no char, flimsy. Dried out overall, like it was reheated 3 times. One thing I'd wish they'd change is the 'display case' at the counter. I hate those things. The only thing a display case does is make me feel like the za has been sitting in it for 5 days (toppings and all), a big reminder of Sbarro. A pizza joint owner doesn't want to remind its customers of Sbarro. I think this place may have potential down the road. For now, I give it my 2nd lowest 'too many veges and not enough meat' rating...from the NY Pizza Guy. But I'll be back....

Funny thing is when I stopped by the place on the way home from the Octave performance, when I looked up Yelp on their free(!) wireless, Michael M. review came up. I was a little apprehensive about what I ordered (due to Robert's review), but surprisingly, the Spaghetti Bolognese was pretty tasty (once again, I fell off my diet wagon). The Tiramisu, though, was a bit soggy. :/ Its a keeper, though. I'll stop by in the future for my Spaghetti needs. :)

The pizza here is good. Salads are fresh. Great for a quick lunch. I haven't tried the pasta and probably won't as it's a little pricey and too heavy for lunch.

Best NY style Pizza I've had in Atlanta...so far. They also have good calzones and garlic knots. The Greek Salad is phenomenal. Friendly staff and decent prices.

First off, I'm an Italian New Yorker so I know what pizza and pasta should taste like. And anyone on here saying their crust is "tasteless" or they should get rid of their "display case" is an idiot. These guys have a great pizza selection and their penne alla vodka is amazing. Comparable to what I'm used to back home.

Pizza was ok, garlic knots are not! Skip those, you'll feel disgusting and absolutely unsatisfied after. I love small pizza places. Piu Bello was not one of those that has lead me to feel that way though. I work almost within walking distance from here, so I may stop in again for lunch because the prices aren't that bad and eating my own peanut butter sandwiches gets tiring after a while, so that doesn't say much for this place. So-so pizza.

This place has been around for two years and i never noticed it until today! It was affordable, tasty, and genuine Italian cuisine. Taste is great and the service was solid. You can tell it popular by the robust lunch crowd. Not a date spot, not a nice dinner spot, but it is a damn good food spot. Go try it - pizza, subs, garlic knots it's all good!

Stopped in on a whim. Got a small Greek salad and a slice of Margherita. Some of the best pizza I have had. The salad is great too. Their house dressing is tangy and goes well with the olives and feta. As close to NY style pizza that you can get without going to NYC. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

I had an awesome ceasar salad with grilled chicken and delicious pasta special at this place the other day. Great for a quick bite, very reasonably priced and attentive staff - highly recommend it!!

N.Y. Pizza? Close. The spinach, mushroom and sausage pizza was delicious. Much better prices than Fellini's or other pizza places. Good service. Start with a greek salad which is made just right. I"ll definitely go back there again. Yum.

I recently discovered Piu Bello Pizzeria in the Disco Kroger shopping center. I generally eat there when I go to Binder's to paint. I am working my way through the menu...and haven't found anything I would eat again and again. I think they're great

Nothing fancy, but a good neighborhood place. I've enjoyed the meatball calzone, spaghetti carbonara and manicotti. My wife says the pizza is good, too.

Fantastic. Now there are two fantastic pizza places in Buckhead...My old standby was Pasta Vino in Peachtree Battle Shopping Center but now that Piu Bello opened around the corner I am thrilled. There is talk of them delivering and what a smart move that would be. Ok, as an ex New Yorker I can tell you this pizza is fantastic. The sauce is sweet just like my sicillian mama would make and the crust perfecto...and a little sweetness to that as well. yummy. Congrats guys!!!!

I caught this place out of the corner of my eye as I left Jason's Deli last week. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but I am oh-so-glad that I decided to give it a shot. Oh my goodness... the food was delicious. We walked in and were warmly greeted by the staff. We took a seat at a booth and received speedy service. I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese. A basket of warm bread arrived quickly after and was delicious. My main entree arrived quickly after, and it was phenomenal. It was not the traditional spaghetti with a pile of red sauce on top. It was a whole mixed up concoction of awesomeness. It had a unique and great flavor that I have never tasted in this dish before. While enjoying the plate of yumminess, our drinks were always full and the server checked us on many times. It was a great experience, and I will definitely be back here. Plus, the portions were great, so I have leftovers for tomorrow too. Double bonus!

I think the reviewers looking for NYC pizza are being a little hard on the place...one of the best things about NYC pizza is the water they have to put in the dough. I never had "real" NYC pizza outside of NYC, but that doesnt mean that there isn't good stuff in other places. I went to Piu Bello with a group of 5 on Saturday night. We primarily ordered pastas. The calamari was outstanding, crisp and not at all chewey. The Penne Vodka was unreal...I make my own and this was just as good. The tortellini with proscuitto and mushrooms was amazing. And one diner, the pickiest lasagne eater in the world, pronounced his "outstanding." The garlic knots are excellent, and they brought a delicious rosemary focaccia bread to us after that. We had tons of leftovers and enjoyed it all again the next day. The prices can't be beat, the staff is super friendly, and I can't wait for delivery!
