I had the wanchi shrimp. It was delicious, flavorful. I also had a spicy mai tai.....omg it was so good and strong, i had a nice buzz after dinner The service was fast and friendly. I definitely recommend Pacific Rim Bistro!!

Our server was ok... Sushi was mediocre, but being from west coast really can't expect "Great sushi" in the south Low ratings because of saki being so small, water glasses w lipstick and saki clay cups with chips in the side..... This is how you serve food with drinks??? Not a fan, 1st recommended by hotel I'll leave sushi to the pros on the coast Better if they served Thai or Chinese.. May I just eat the fortune cookie please? Better luck next time.
I don't normally like to leave bad reviews but I just have to in this case. My friend and I went for a late lunch the other day. It wasn't overly busy but our server was completely absent most of the time. When he did come to the table, he mumbled and never looked either of us in the face. We had to ask for a sushi menu and then he only brought one for the two of us. Once we finally ordered it took a long time for the food to come out. My miso soup was completely tasteless except for the strange looking tofu cubes that were in it. Then the sushi was worse. Devoid of any flavor at all and tasted old. I've gotten better sushi out of the grocery store.

Had some take out while visiting the area. The phone in order was easy. The person on the other end of the phone was pleasant and the food was ready as promised, in about 20 minutes I had two appetizers, the wasabi seaweed salad and the spicy edemame. Both were good, but lacked the kick I was expecting with their names. Both tasted pretty similar to standard seaweed salad and edemame. I also had the spicy tom yum seafood soup. I was not too impressed by the seafood in the seafood soup, nor the overall flavor, but it was good enough. The portion was generous as well. Worth a try.

A mish mash mix of various Asian cuisines which I found a bit confusing, but everything came out great overall. My party of 7 was able to reserve a table at peak lunch hour and get our orders relatively fast. Had an obento (Japanese) of basil chicken (Thai) with miso soup (Japanese), salad (American), rice and deep fried spring rolls (Chinese). Others got the sushi specials, fish tacos, and other obentos. Everyone was full and satisfied. Nigiri looked ok, but I wouldn't especially get it from here. One of my co-workers didn't understand was the inari was. Noise was LOUD at 12p and didn't quiet down until 1p. They just don't quite account for the noise levels and I was yelling to get my conversation across the table. Takes card. Pretty good service, refilled waters/teas/drinks without asking. Validates parking.

Came here during lunch to try the Tokyo Short Rib Ramen. Pleasantly surprised to see Tokyo Duck Ramen offered as a special. I might come back to try that. Mostly business men in at lunch on President's Day. Nice lighting and ambiance inside. Pretty spacious and quite a few servers on staff. Ordered the ramen, it came promptly. As far as presentation goes, I was underwhelmed. Long stalks of green onion, the meat disappeared into the broth, pickled ginger on top and I could only see half an egg. Now as for flavor, the broth was okay. It was weak and lacked depth, but it was pleasant and tasty. The meat had good flavor but was slightly overcooked, tough and chewy. And there was more that settled into the noodles once you started eating. There was another egg half! And fish cake hiding inside. The egg was just a boiled egg, nothing to write home about. The noodles were a bit overcooked. I give it three stars because I'd eat here again, but I'm not a raving fan. I'm curious to see how the other entrees are. So this review is strictly for the Tokyo Short Rib Ramen. The hunt for good ramen in Atlanta still continues.

Came here after work with two other people on a Tuesday and we waited 45 minutes for hot sake and wine. C Some back on the next Monday and the place was dead, food was good and drinks were served promptly.

This is really a nice and stylish place to dine. The sushi is very fresh and delectable. The service was on point. The staff really made it a point to make suggestion and share on interest. He advised and reminded that the Chinese restaurant Hsu's is a sister restaurant to Pacific Rim- as well as I noticed, the owner was dining in the restaurant with family members, just as I have seen her (forgive me for not remembering her name) dining with family in Hsu's as well. I did not get a chance to experience drinks t the bar, but the bartender smiles from across the room! This place is inviting and I encourage all to dine at least once. The price is above average so plan on spending a little more than usual if you are dining with two or more. But, the flavor the the dishes I displayed in my pics were definitely worth the price!

Enjoyed dinner here tonight, while in town on business. We ordered the pot stickers, crab cake (both appetizers), and four sushi rolls ... Spicy Tuna, California, Volcano, and the Philly (they didn't call it that, but that is what it is often called and it featured Cream Cheese, Avocado, & Salmon). Service was good and professional, our tea glasses never went unfilled and plates were always pre-bussed. The food was really good and nicely presented. Our favorite sushi was the volcano roll and the spicy tuna. The crab cake (which was packed with crab) also was served with a side of cucumber salad, which was good as well. The pot stickers were cooked and presented well, but the filling wasn't the best I have had. Expected better ... Nice atmosphere and within walking distance to major hotels downtown.

Dinner was okay. The sushi was best, sashimi wonderful. Fried dumplings tasty with good dipping sauces. Thai basil prawns were the disappointment. I wish they would have had more flavor. Not sure I would go back.

I have been here a handful of times over the last few years while in town for business. The service is always a disaster. I'm not sure what is going on, it's almost comical. We just go in expecting bad service now, but we eat here because it is conveniently located. The foods is ok. Tuna app is good, dumplings decent. On my most recent visit, the server never put in our app order. Edamame never arrived but we were charged for it. Dumplings were cold after we waiting 40 minutes for them. The sushi is average here.

Food was great. I ordered a vegetarian dish and it came with a nice pice of beef. Told our waiter about it and nothing was done about it. Not even a sorry sir. No services at all. Will not come back.

Great sushi, mixed drinks worth the money, and a comfortable laid back atmosphere. Bartender made a killer Singapore sling that wasn't on the menu, which was an unexpected accommodation. I recommend ordering anything with spicy tuna! Little fun tip: all rolls can be tempura fried for only a dollar more! :-)

A definite good spot for your sushi fix. It's steps just outside the Marriott Marquis, where I was staying. We started out with their pork shumai on their tapas menu. Four pieces for $4. Of course, since sushi was our main goal we picked up some edamame as another starter. For my main meal I had three pieces of salmon (sashimi), a spicy tuna roll and a spider roll. The sashimi pieces were a bit small but very fresh. I liked how my tuna roll was cooked where I'm used to having the raw fish, a pleasant change. As for the spider roll... that was delicious, too. I'm used to having six pieces in a roll and here I had eight with each roll. So servings there are hefty. These folks definitely do a good job on presentation. All in with a beer and a few other items my buddy ordered we spent some $37 each. That's a bit steep for dinner but we don't hold back on throwing down when it comes to food.

I wanted to like this place, but I just didn't. The sushi was BLAND. The dumplings were pretty good. Service was pretty fast at lunch. Not worth the money though. Doubt I will return.

Excellent place to eat! I've Been here twice on this trip and both times the service and food have been great. I highly recommend the fish tacos and the Vietnamese rolls. The service was super fast and the staff constantly checked on my needs.

Yeah I guess if you're downtown for lunch you could do worse. But you could also do better. The hostess was friendly and quickly seated us. Then we had a waiter who seemed way too rushed for your normal pleasantries. He just barked things. "What do you want to drink?!" "What are you ordering?!" "Are you done?!" Yes I get it, it's a busy place but geez chill out. Everyone here was on their lunch break (except me I was just meeting my husband who was on a lunch break) so they definitely take that business crowd into account with their menu and pricing. I got a sushi combo: 5 pieces of sushi, some tofu thing, three pieces of tuna roll and a few pieces of a California roll. Oh and a small cup of miso soup. $11. The plate was tiny. Those were some of the smallest sushi pieces of I've had in a long time. The fish was fresh so it had that going for it. The miso soup had carrots- strange. My husband had some kind of bento box with friend chicken and pineapples. A salad came with that which really just meant lettuce and dressing. Oh and a small egg roll. As rushed as the waiter was our food took its sweet time getting to us. That's okay though because I'll probably take my sweet time getting back there...

Enjoyed the Funky Buddha roll, Dynamite roll and Rainbow roll on this trip. Also started with a Calamari appetizer. The sushi was very good and fresh. The Calamari was average with a bit too much fried batter. Have eaten here a few times and enjoyed it each time. The service is good as well. Our party grew from two to three, then four and it was never an issue. Will come back soon.

Very nice Sushi/Asian/whatever option close to our conference hotel (the Hyatt). We had a large group (8) but were able to snag tables almost immediately upon walking in during the lunch rush. Sushi was definitely a nice change of pace from the oodles of Southern-fried comfort food I'd been gorging on (not that I'm complaining). I got one of the lunch combos with maki rolls and individual pieces and everything was tasty and fresh. There were many other choices that were very inviting (Mongolian beef!). Prices were OK, especially if you stick to specials. Service was good and they really wanted to solicit our demographics given that we were in the hotbed of visitor Atlanta with 2 big conferences going on. The place was pretty sleek with some interesting design pieces. Wish I'd had more time to appreciate it.

Good lunch specials, food was delicious. The bento boxes especially are a great deal, and good way to sample a few different items instead of having just one big entree. Service was good, but they need to allow a bit more room for tables along the back of the dining room...they are packed in so tightly that I had to move my seat several times as they seated other diners in the tables behind ours. Looks like a decent happy hour option for Suntrust Plaza and nearby offices, always see people at the bar when I leave at night.

The service wasn't spectacular on this night, but it was the weekend of DragonCon and other crazy events in Atlanta. Princess Leia was seated at a table nearby. We had a nice meal which started with the chicken coconut soup. One nice benefit of dining at Pacific Rim is that the restaurant will validate your parking in the SunTrust parking garage.

Sushi is way over priced, but food is good, we went on a Wednesday night, our server took his time ever coming by our table to say the least. The seating right in the path of the kitchen walk way needs to be removed!! You get the bad smell of the kitchen and dishes.

My introduction to Sushi I liked! Can get pricy quick, but it's worth the occasional splurge! My favorite time to go here is in the Spring! Enjoy the downtown with good sushi!
Was visiting Atlanta with a friend, and coming from a smaller town with limited sushi options, we were expecting to find good sushi in Atlanta. Unfortunately, we didn't. We came here based on other Yelp-reviews, but honestly I was quite disappointed. The quality of the sushi was not impressive (at all), and I actually believe I could make it just as good - or even better myself. On top of that we paid 78$ for water, two soups, and sushi for two - 78$!

Ordered the Poki and asked to substitute the tuna with salmon... And asked for it spicy. Absolutely the best Poki I have ever had in my life and I eat Sushi/Sashimi twice a week. Great service and great atmosphere. Loved the Firecracker roll, too. Miso soup was hot, fresh, and delicious.

Great food and a pleasant atmosphere, BUT... Eating sushi here for the second time, I experienced the same problem twice: they forget to bring you EVERYTHING you need to eat your sushi, while they go get it, they forget other stuff, and overall VERY disorganized and unthoughtful. Unlikely to go back.

I'm a huge fan of Pacific Rim's bento boxes. I've had them 3 times already and each time I have really enjoyed my meal. I enjoy the variety (it comes with a salad, soup, rice, egg roll, and your main dish) and I find the price to be very reasonable. I keep on wanting to try the ramen but keep wimping out and just sticking with what I love - the bento box. If you've had the ramen, please message me and let me know if it's good. Come here if you're at SunTrust or near SunTrust - it is good food!

Read good reviews and thought I'd check it out for dinner. Ordered the jumbo prawns with vegetables as that got closest to my weight loss diet. I was hoping for a decent meal, but it turned out to be one of the best ever. Cooked just right and seasoned with a light cream sauce that complimented the vegetables perfectly (mainly squash and asparagus). Service was very prompt. I received my entree in about 7 minutes. I opted to sit outside and enjoy the nice evening weather. Some say they never give a 5 rating because nobody deserves it. I disagree with that thinking. If nobody gets a 5, the rating scale is meaningless. These guys earned a 5 last night!

Another great lunch here - I started with the fresh juice of the day, and then had the mahi mahi sandwich, Vietnamese style. The bread was soft, the mahi grilled and there were some fresh pickles on the sandwich. It also came with cole sake and homemade chips

I went here about a week ago, amid the insanity that is DragonCon downtown, so I expected any of the local restaurants to be crowded and possibly not on their best game. However, I do not feel the crowds and insanity going on in this area at the time were to blame for what a horrible experience we had. We showed up expecting a large crowd and a long wait, especially having 7 people in our party. Surprisingly, it was busy but hardly any line, and they offered to make some special seating for us to get us in quickly. We were sat in lounge chairs at a couple coffee tables in the corridor beside the restaurant, not in the outdoor patio. We never had a regular server, we were served by one of the bartenders and two men who appeared to not be servers either (maybe managers?) Waters and menus came out fairly quickly, but that was the end of any decent service. We ordered quickly, everyone placing sushi orders and we started our wait... we waited over an hour for food, after having to flag down someone after about 30-45 minutes in to see if we had been forgotten, if we could have any water refills, and we were told the sushi bar was "taking a long time." I wish we had been told before we all picked sushi, so we could have chosen something else, or at least someone had come to check in on us. After an hour some of our food came... everything but my order and another friend's. We reminded them of our orders and eventually said friend's food arrived but mine did not. Over the next thirty minutes I reminded two people of my order and waited with no food. I was nearly in tears, having six people served of seven and no one ever brought me any of my order after asking multiple times. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a restaurant. Everyone devoured their food quickly after the exceedingly long wait, and then we waited another 30-45 minutes to get the checks, some of which were wrong. My night at Pacific Rim consisted of waiting nearly two hours for food I ordered that never came. I thankfully escaped before the mall next door closed, where I was able to get some sushi from the food court to have in my hotel room. I would seriously give this place a 0 star rating if I could, all seven of us will likely never be back due to this experience.

Yuck. Avoid the sushi at all cost! Smelly, and not at all fresh. The spider roll was obviously cooked last week - clammy and soggy

Five stars for the service. Which (during DragonCon) can get kind-of crazy. But our server was polite, and our initial round of food came to us quickly. And it was tasty! But... Three starts for the quantity size. These may have been among the smallest maki and nigiri I've ever seen.

I really wanted to like this place, but didn't. My spidey senses tingle when a restaurant is completely empty. In my defense, I only went because I was with a group of starving coworkers. We were trying to eat close by so we could continue working. The prices were a bit high for the portion size and my entree was extremely sweet. I paid $20 for 5 shrimp with vegetables. Also, the service left a lot to be desired. We were the only table. How could the service be bad?

I came here twice during DragonCon. The first visit was during lunch, we were a party of 7 and the service was great! We had been eating food from the PeachTree Centre food court so we were super excited for better quality sushi and food. I got the oysters for an app and a roll afterwards, none of us were disappointed. However, the second visit was during dinner hours and we were a party of 14. I understand it gets busy but the service was completely horrid. It was so disappointing because we had convinced our other friends to join us. I had to go get some menus for everybody myself. We waited over an hour for any food to come out. Apparently, no one liked anything that came from the kitchen. I had gotten sushi again. Two of the people with us, went back to the hotel to change (made their way through 57,000 people), went to the food court and got their food, came back and finished eating outside of the restaurant before we got our checks. The server had all of our checks opened, stacked on top of each other and dropped on the table without saying a word and left. There was only 1 pen.

I had the seven flavor beef and coconut soup. Both were relatively good but not fantastic. The service was slow and left much to be desired. Two hours elapsed between the time we sat down and the last of entrees were set on the table. During this time our waiter only asked once if we needed refills but he at least was polite and seemed to be trying. We spoke to the manager and received a discount but I have to say I left in a frustrated state of mind. For this price there are several better places to eat in Atlanta.

Came here with my sister for an early dinner on a Saturday night. The location was great because it was close to our hotel. We were the first ones there and was seated right away. The decor of the restaurant is trendy with some glass blown chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. We knew right away what we wanted to order. My sister ordered the Tom Yuan soup (spelling?) and I ordered the Out of Control roll. The prices are pricey, but the food quality was great. The roll was delish and same goes with the soup. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly.

I actually went here a couple of times with my friends and really enjoyed the food. The spicy fried calamari would have to be my most favorite thing out of their menu, along side the dynamite roll! Just a heads up, they also have green tea ice cream here as well!

My family was here for the weekend and wanted to eat at a good restraunt. We pick this place because it was close to our hotel and the reviews were good. We also had to have asian food of coruse. The pictures that were provided on the reviews were also amazing! The interior of this place was very nice and thank god it wasn't too busy since we had kids. We tried a little bit of everything to get a feel for the food. We had the following: Spicy Calamari (good especially w/ the dipping sauce), mongolian beef taco (my husband and the kids LOVE it), chicken & shrimp pad thai (good), sushi (decent), sea bass (decent), Wasabi Bleu Cheese Crusted Filet (my husband LOVE it). Overall the service and food was good. The only downfall is that there is no kids menu so this place don't really cater to kids under 12.

This place should get 1... the sushi is HORRIBLE!! I had 3 orders of sushi.. and all 3 were bad!!! I was not even able to eat them... The only reason I give this place a 2 is because the tuna appetizer is to die for!! its AH-MAZING!!! i loved it!! maybe just for that one appetizer I should give it a 3, but i think that would be too much... anyhow.. as far as sushi goes, this place is a fail for me.. maybe its better for other stuff... but if you want to eat sushi...DONT come here..

We had a wonderful experience dining at Pacific Rim last week. We have been to PR for a big event and a family dinner. Both times the wait staff were very pleasant and the service was excellent. I usually have a hard time finding a nice chinese/asian restaurant to dine at, but I found PR to be very chic, clean, and classy. I have tried a little bit of all from the menu-fish, poultry, beef, noodles, and they were all delicious. We will definitely be going back for a date night soon.

Went for lunch and I enjoyed everything! The bento box is really popular and a pretty good price. If you do not work in downtown the location sucks. It is in the heart of downtown and not a go to spot for the weekends or has a good atmosphere. Food quality is good and miso soup is on par! I had really good service. I am a fan!

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday for team lunch. Yeah, it's free lunch but I still have so many things to complain about. Service: Lunch time is hectic. One server appeared to serve at least 5 tables at a time! luckily they have busser and food runner to help out but I still saw a few customers across the table got pissed from their SUPER SLOW service. Food: We started with Edamame ($4) which is average for this kind of restaurant, followed by Dragon rolls and FireCracker rolls ($10 each) which are ok but not that amazing compared to other sushi places in Atlanta. 4 of us ordered 7-flavored beef in bento set, pineapple chicken entree, 7-flavored beef entree, Wanchi shrimp entree. Their dishes seemed and tasted nice BUT MINE!! I got BASIL CHICKEN which was totally disappointed; tasteles-- dull-- look like bland food for sick people. I was thinking about asking another new dish but decided to suck it up which was totally my mistake. If I have choice, I will NEVER EVER come here again. Though other menus my friends ordered were ok, but sorry... you will never see me there again. oh... lunch time was super LOUD and noisy. Never have a business / dating lunch here if you want to talk or catch up with friends or love ones! We ended up paying $120 (incl tips) for 5 ppl --- not that expensive considering it's in downtown but I can get way better food quality and service from other places around.
(2)
Maria T.
I must start off by saying the pad thai was delicious, the service was great, but the prices were high for what you were getting. I understand that it is located in downtown, but lets be realistic...its three blocks from the Publix and the bums live just around the corner.

Ok I am vegetarian so you can read the main course reviews from someone else...in brief I had the Basil vegetable stirfry with rice and it was good enough but nothing I would come back here to specifically eat. Now lets get down to it - Mixed berry mojito. This is one of those delicious drinks that are dangerous because you sip and you sip and just don't realize how much you've had because its so good! The best thing here...the Tempura Fried Cheesecake. Oh yes - you take good cheesecake and think hmm....how can I make it better? Well the chef here figured it out...dip it in Tempura batter and fry it so it has a crispy chewy coating. This is f-ing amazing, heaven on a plate...served with some vanilla ice cream. I've had better ice cream but the cheesecake...yes I would go back here just to have the dessert!

A-OK type of sushi joint. Pricey for sushi that just wasn't that fresh. I came here on a Thursday afternoon for a late lunch, and the restaurant was practically empty. On my left - empty tables. On my left - all of the waiters eating their own lunches. Whatever they were eating looked pretty good and I wish that I could have ordered it! I had the spicy tuna roll, which wasn't that spicy. Also had the Dragonfly roll, which was more rice than actual filling. Such a disappointment. I guess the sushi wasn't bad, but I just had such high expectations after paying $16 for a Dragonfly roll. I know that part of the pricing is probably just from the downtown location, but there's many places that have better food for the same location. For those of you who don't eat sushi, they do have a wide arrangement of cooked seafood dishes, so it's a good option if you're coming with a large group that can't decide on sushi vs. Asian-fusion seafood.

Ate here on a Sunday night with some friends. I had the Malaysian Chicken Curry. It suited me just fine, although it would likely be a bit too mild for a real fan of spicy food. The restaurant was quiet and permitted conversation. Service was pleasant and efficient.

Solid sushi meal. Pricey...yes. Maybe I'm just desensitized living in New York, but $9 for a roll is a bit high. The one thing I will say is that they did give you 8 big pieces with that roll, and that price included my $1.00 brown rice upgrade (which I always get) Service was good, and quick, and the location is very convenient to most downtown hotels, which as a business traveler is always a good thing. If you want a cheaper sushi meal, there are other options in Atlanta, but if you want a nice, sit down sushi restaurant, I would recommend this place without hesitation
Pacific Rim is a good sushi alternative in downtown Atlanta. They have a very diverse menu, but I was there for sushi. The sushi menu is varied with some inventive combinations and the typical bevy of sushi items. The ikura (salmon roe) was very fresh tasting. The maguro and salmon as well. For sushi in downtown Atlanta, I'll go back.

This restaurant is owned by the same people as Silk. I love Silk and used to venture to midtown for lunch just to get their bento boxes and candied Fuji apple. Imagine my excitement when I realized that Pacific Rim was right down the street from where I work. Score! The lunch menus are essentially the same as Silk's. I adore bento boxes and Pacific Rim's does not disappoint. For $10, you get a sampling of foods: miso soup, spring salad with ginger dressing, spring roll, rice, and your choice of protein. I love their salmon and my coworker swears by their pineapple chicken. I've also tried shrimp and the 7 flavor beef (yeah I frequent this place a lot). Another coworker tried the sliders and said they were quite happy. If you're starving and need something to munch on, their calamari is fried to the perfect crispness on the outside, while still being tender on the inside. Served with a side of spicy mayo of some sort. For dessert, you have to get their chocolate and caramel dipped Fuji apples. It's not only delicious, but healthy. Duh! That's a no brainer.
Downtown Atlanta is convention central. The restaurant options in the area are limited if you are looking for a less expensive option and not the food court, but thankfully my friends and I found Pacific Rim conveniently located outside the Marriott Marquis. The lunch menu has great choices and most entrees are a little over $10. The service is quick, efficient, and all business...not friendly, but to the point. They have a good sized patio and a comfortable interior. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was okay. It had a strong basil flavor, which I am not used to. The portion was plentiful for me and I wasn't able to finish it. The bento box looked good too. We didn't order sushi, but saw some leaving the sushi bar and it looked well made. Splitting checks is not a problem for a table of four. They are not open on Saturdays for lunch, but many other restaurants in the area are not either.

What is the secret to eating soup with chopsticks? This is what I considered after my server dropped off my bento box, which is a new addition to their lunch menu. I ordered the chicken pineapple box. The chicken was fried and soaked in some sauce. It must have been sitting for a while, because it was soggy by the time it got to me. I'm not sold on the pineapple yet, but they had lots of other interesting options I'd be willing to try. The bento box came with the normal salad, soup, spring roll, and rice. The spring roll was a particularly high note, with a nice crunch and yummy sauce. It was unlike any other gross, deep fried spring roll I've had from other take-out places. The soup on the other hand... well, I wouldn't know how it tasted, because they never brought me a spoon. The server was largely absent after food delivery. My co-workers had sushi (the Sushi A and Sushi B combo respectively) and both noted that the fish seemed especially fresh and that the rolls were good. When we came last week at 12, it was packed for lunch. So much so, we couldn't get a table and had to sit at the sushi bar. I will attribute this to the neighboring restaurant closing down at the end of 2009. The happy hours also look really packed generally, but I haven't been there to try it out.

Some clients chose this place for lunch. It's a decent spot for a casual or business meal, nice decor and good service, reasonably priced. I have to say that the idea of Japanese, Vietnamese, Hawaiian, Malaysian, Thai and Chinese (whew!) food on one menu is, well, foreign to me. Any one of these region's dishes requires specific know-how and a kitchen that does all of them is pretty much holding a cookbook over the pan. So I didn't expect the dishes to be remarkable--I was just hoping for them to be edible. And the food pretty much met my expectations--passable but not outstanding by any means. I had some sushi (which you can order ala carte or as a set) and Malaysian curry chicken Obento Box. The dish I ordered was filling and a great deal at $9.95.

Seafood hot pot with curry sauce was delicious - sushi rolls were fresh and delicious - straightforward without many "signature" rolls. Service was attentive but not intrusive. It is located near many hotels and the conference center downtown, and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of our meal.

Went here for the boyfriend's 25th birthday dinner. Sad they didn't offer anything special for him to top his birthday, but it is what it is. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Spicy tuna roll was almost non-existant...pass on that next time. Ikura and masago sushi was AWESOME. I'd definitely go here again but wouldn't make it a point to celebrate something special here.

Went to Pacific Rim for dinner with some friends are really enjoyed it. There was no wait at 7p on a Saturday, which is always a plus. Our server was very nice, attentive and knew his menu well. A few things... 1 - Get the grilled dumplings. I loved them. They also come with 3 sauces, which I'm a fan of. 2 - I went with the Spicy Seven Flavored Beef. It was tasty, but common. Next time I'm going with one of their interesting rolls. They do have a large entree list too. So if you're not in the mood for sushi...there's plenty to pick from. 3 - My boyfriend went with the chef's tasting (3 courses for $35). He was very happy with it, Of course the items will change every night (all up to the chef), so if you're in the mood to be surprised and most likely pleased...go for it. 4 - Their drink menu was nice. I suggest trying the mixed berry mojito (delicious) and sake. They had a sake special going on when we were there (tasting of 5 for $20). Bonus ...the Suntrust parking garage validates up to 5 hours. Overall...if you're downtown looking for sushi or good Chinese, give Pacific Rim a try. You won't regret it.

I usually go there for Happy Hour. The martinis are $5.00 all night, at least most of them. The appetizers range from $3.00 for the sushi rolls to $7.00 for the pineapple chicken... I like most, do not get the wings or the onion rings. The service is nice, the bartenders are friendly, from the ones I know one is a diva, another is very smart and has a radio voice and another is sisterly friendly. The owner shows up many days and talks to the customers,if you go there many times it feels like you are in an episode of "Cheers". Nice informal atmosphere, not too loud, not when I've been.

Note to self: do not come for lunch on the first day a restaurant is on scoutmob! Waited 30 minutes for a table, then another 15 once we were seated just to see a waiter. We ordered off the lunch special menu and got two bento boxes. I got the basil chicken which was bland and disappointing. My co-worker enjoyed her shrimp curry though. Can't really complain much as our combined lunch tab was only $15. p.s. the recently renovated interior looks great! would def be a good happy hour spot.

This is the best sushi we have ever had. We had the spicy tuna and firecracker roll. AMAZING!!! Service was FANTASTIC! But sushi was even better. We also had the Mai tai with 151 that was strong and great!!!! Great parking across the street also.

I have been eating at this establishment for many years. The food is always great, the staff is friendly and very helpful. They gladly let you order off of the menu and the owner is usually on the premise. I have never been let down by this fine dining establishment.

Very pleasantly surprised to find such a gem right next to our hotel. The sushi was wonderful. We have had excellent sushi in many places in Los Angeles but this place was better! Our waiter was a little moody at first, but warmed up to us by the end of our meal, it must of been all the loud cackling laughter we had going on. Had a great time and I recommend this place. I will be back if I'm ever in Atlanta!

Excellent sushi meal. Wait staff was patient as we had a large party yet attentive. Variety of sushi was excellent with a number of traditional dishes as well as some nice rolls that I had not had before. Location is convenient to the downtown as well. Only downside was they didn't have Asahi, only Sapporo.

The patio is nice although you are in the middle of downtown in the financial district. We went for lunch and most of the patrons were business people but it was still a very easygoing and nice place. We got the Chef's Special and the Walnut Shrimp dish. Between those two plates, it is more than enough for two people. The Chef's Special came out very nice with 3 small sushi dishes and then a crunch roll and some sashimi. It is actually a lot of food for one dish. The walnut shrimp is great, but very filling as well. Great lunch, but next time, I will order the Chef's Special by itself or the Walnut Shrimp with something smaller.

Enjoyable sushi restaurant wedged between large hotels on the block. Popped in for an early dinner and was pleased with the lively ambiance with a nice happy hour crowd, lots of tables and ample sushi bar space for solo travelers. Unfortunately it was a little cold outside else we would have enjoyed the large outdoor terrace. There seemed to be a few locals in the restaurant which is always a good sign for restaurants in tourist/business travel areas. We split the Combination Super that was five pieces nigiri (tuna, salmon, yellow tail and two other white fish) plus three each Tuna sashimi, Salmon sashimi and Yellow tail sashimi. We added a special roll - spicy tuna roll topped with eel and avodaco - to round out a perfect sized meal. The spicy tuna in the special roll reminded me of tuna salad; not over impressed there. However, the sashimi and nigiri was great - very fresh. Nice option for the health conscious to make rolls with brown rice instead of white. Only thing I usually expect with similar meals is a bowl of miso or salad to come with. No biggie. Service was very attentive, very friendly and social. The combo meal, additional roll and two (small) bottles of hot sake rounded out to $50 bill. Not bad at all.

Went here for lunch today. Good, but not THAT good. I had the rainbow rolll and salmon sashimi. I don't know its just a decent place, nothing really special in terms of sushi. But still good!

I actually read the reviews before deciding to dine here. All i can say is, "YIKES!". Those who raved about the sushi have obviously never had freshly rolled sushi and are akin to the "sushi" you can buy from Costco! In fact, the "sushi" at Costco is better.... and that's not saying much! Nice atmosphere, but food was terrible and DEFINITELY not worth the price!! Both of us who dined here got sick to our stomach within hours after our dinner.

I did my research. The reviews were good, particularly from the folks doing lunch and happy hour. So, I took the leap and strolled one block from the hotel to Pacific Rim Bistro. I like sushi, so I was in luck. The Year of the Dragon has conjured some interesting sushi rolls. Try the crouching tiger or enter the dragon rolls. Both are excellent. Also try the Murphy Cabernet. You can't go wrong!

An absolute delight - a phantastic mix of different asian cuisines with an American touch. Irresistably good. I could have gone here every day. From sushis, via a great selection of home-made very yummie dumplings to grilled meat and fish, soups, woks and much more. I can highly recommend - at lunch time or in the evening.

Just down the street from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, this place benefits from lots of hotel guests in the Peachtree Center area. I simply walked in on impulse after seeing this place on my route from the Peachtree Marta station. The place was dead on a Sunday night about 6:30. Maybe 5 total customers. I was seated at the sushi bar and immediately started wondering, as things looked somewhat put away for the night - nothing in the refrigerated display cases ringing the bar. I ordered the Omakase Special and a Rainbow Roll. The special is a 3-course meal featuring a basic chef's special nigiri plate of 8 pieces, the Omakase roll - more on this later, and 3 individual cups of sushi in various mixed salad arrangements - all good. The Omakase roll was truly unique in my experience. Vary large by any standard - about 3 inches thick and sliced into barely manageable 1/2 inch slices, the roll is assembled then fried in tempura batter. It includes many vegetables and crab and tuna. Absolutely melts in the mouth - delectable. This one creation is worth the trip and I was told I was served by the head chef, however the rest of the meal was just ordinary - typical of any decent sushi establishment. Not much on decor, but well prepared sushi. Convenient to the Peachtree Center area.

I went here with a friend for lunch. I walked in and the overwhelming fishy odor almost knocked me over. Not a good sign for a sushi place! As a result, my appetite for sushi vanished and I ended up ordering a chicken curry. The curry was ok, but it was definitely overpriced, especially for lunch. Fishy smell plus mediocre & overpriced curry? Meh. 2

I went here for dinner while in town for a convention in October. I had Malaysian chicken and the food was pretty good. Unfortunately, the service was below par and one of my dinner guests did not get her drinks til long after the food arrived. Overall good but not great.

Ate here our first night in Atlanta while visiting for Dragon*Con; it's right next door to the Marriott. We started with some sushi -- a spider roll and a rock 'n' roll -- and were decidedly not impressed. The fish didn't seem very fresh, giving the sushi that extra-fishy flavor that we're more used to getting from cheap grocery store sushi... We then moved on to the seven-spiced sizzling beef entree, which was a definite improvement. Not amazing, but nice and tasty and spicy enough to wake you up after a long flight. :) We were offered a local Atlanta-brewed beer with our meal, which was actually quite good -- unfortunately I forgot the name of the brewery, which apparently gives tours and tastings. Maybe we'll track it down next year! There's indoor and outdoor patio seating, as well as a few seats at the sushi bar where we sat. (I end up feeling a bit uncomfortable sitting at the sushi bar when the sushi isn't very good; I don't want to bad-mouth them right there!) The patio seating looks pretty good for late-night groups hanging out at conventions, but we didn't end up back there ourselves.

Ok, so last time I was there, I unwittingly left my cell phone on the table. My friend and I had walked about 5 blocks and were in such deep conversation that we didn't hear or notice our server yelling to get our attention about a block behind. Finally, our server catches up to us at about block 6 with my phone! He straight up ran 6 blocks to bring me my phone...he was a sweaty, out of breath mess and I couldn't be more appreciative (especially considering August in Atlanta is no fun!) That is what customer service is all about!

I was excited to try this restaurant, the menu looked great. The atmosphere is very nice it was even warm enough for the large glass walls to be open. That is the end of the goodness. We were only three there for a birthday celebration, which apparently the waiter had no idea about. The service was the worst I can ever remember having. We were never asked about drinks until after ordering dinner (just as good it made me stick with water). The coconut chicken soup was primarily tofu, the sushi was fine but not as good as the place we usually go and the sea bass was most likely not sea bass, it was tough and stringy. But since we had essentially no waiter it was not easy to return it. A very lackluster meal especially for the price we paid. After ten minutes of waiting for a check we had to find the waiter and ask for it. I was really astounded with how consistently bad this restaurant was - i loved Silk and assumed this would be worth it. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I'll be honest, my expectations were kind of low, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I would absolutely recommend it to anybody. The ambiance was quite lively , even for Saturday afternoon. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the sushi. The presentation was remarkable. The wait staff was absolutely top notch. Call me impressed

I work across the street from Pacific Rim, so it's easy for me to pop by for lunch or after-work drinks and not worry about parking, though if you park in the SunTrust Garden garage you can get validated parking. For lunch I always go with the curry, unless one of the bento boxes appeals. (I'm not a sushi fan, though I've never head complaints about it from my dining companions.) After work, I'm sipping martinis. I'm never disappointed when I go here, though I'll admit that the service is closer to gracious than fast. [But my motto is "If you want fast food, don't go to a sit down restaurant".] There is a small circular bar near the door, and the bartender is great, and only gives me a small grimace when I order the girliest drink on the menu. (Something with strawberries. Oh. My. God. Yum.) Update: This was a strawberry lemon drop, with freshly muddled strawberries. Awesome drink, in spite of the teasing from the business travelers sitting at the bar. Other martinis on the list include: Wild berry mojito Peach martini Raspberry sakejito Lemongrass basilini Balsamic margarita Mango Chocolate Pomegranate There's a larger sushi bar for eating, if that's your thing. There's also plenty of tables, including some outside for when the weather is nice. Though like many Atlanta sidewalks, the sidewalk is slanty, which means the table may be at a bit of an angle. Hopefully your soup bowl wasn't filled to the brim. Peachtree Center Avenue isn't too noisy for a downtown street, so dining outside is nice, though I still always puzzle at the rickshaw outside the door.

As a new resident of downtown (at Twelve), we have spent some delightful nights trying all sorts of new places in our new neighborhood. We had a very nice dinner at Pacific Rim. I had eaten here about a year ago and found the menu greatly changed. It seems more, well, Asian. The sushi and curry dishes were wonderful and beautifully presented. The wine list and drink menu also were greatly changed and enhanced. There is even a white Chateauneuf de Pape available. There is also a very tasty Thai basil martini. Pacific Rim is owned by the Hsu's, the owners of Hsu's (Andrew Young and Peachtree Center) and Silk in midtown. They have a long commitment to downtown. I would definitely return.

AWFUL SERVICE AND FOOD!! I ate here 06/06/08. The sushi was horrendous. It was a simple order - a tuna roll and a bagel roll. The tuna was brown. The salmon tasted like it had gone bad. My friend ordered the Kobe beef patty. It came out charred and hard and dry like a hockey puck. The restaurant wasn't that busy yet it took them 40 minutes to bring out our food. His was cold. My sushi was warm. The soy sauce bottle had stuff stuck inside and outside of it. I ate two pieces of my food. Didn't bother to complain knew I would never be back. I would give them minus two stars if I could.

A couple of coworkers and I were looking for a place to eat after a long day. We were all from out of town and on a business trip, but everyone I talked to pretty much said to just walk outside of the hotel, walk in any direction, and we would find a good place. The Concierge at the Hyatt recommended this place called Pacific Rim and low and behold... that's where we ended up! So we went a little crazy and ordered $170 worth of food for 3 of us. That includes 6 asahis, 2 sakes, spring rolls, edamame, 3 rolls, 1 sushi combination, and 5 sets of different nigiri. Everything was pretty standard, but I have to give them props for their Omakase combo and their Out of Control roll. Heaven in my mouth. Pacific Rim offers a lot of other Asian and Asian Fusion dishes, but we skipped over everything non-Japanese. I'm sure they're up to par on their dishes, though. I'd visit again. =)

Sister Restaurant to Silk, I love how quiet this bistro is. Whenever we are downtown for Dragon Con. this is the first place we hit. It isn't crowded, and you can people watch from the patio....that is, if you can keep your eyes off the food! Everything is fresh and colorful. The polynesian twist is delectible. The menu changes, but everytime you miss something from your last visit, it is replaced by a new favorite.

A solid wine list and very friendly service distinguish this restaurant. Multiple servers were very attentive and personable. While they have an expansive menu and all the sushi appeared fresh, nothing knocked our socks off. From the so-so miso soup to the sometimes odd flavor pairings on the "fancy" rolls, they earned three stars. Standbys like the spicy tuna roll did not disappoint. On the upside, they are very close to the downtown hotels and they do not have much competition in the otherwise barren downtown restaurant scene.

Was a little weary on going to a pan Asian/ Thai place in ATL but this place surprised us with great quality sushi/sashami, awsome entrees, and friendly service! We had the white tuna, sweet shrimp, and yellowtail sushi and loved the quality of the fish so much we ended up adding a triangle sashimi plate that incld white tuna( which the sushi chef kindly subed), salmon, and yellowtail. We then had Tom yum seafood soup withthe perfect spiciness, and finally we had some of the best Chilean sea bass which was steamed then baked in a black bean sauce ... It was flakey and melted in your mouth like butter!! Make sure to ask ur server on what their freshest fish is prior to ordering!

This place is in the bottom of my building at work. It is a big happy hour spot for professionals. The service is attentive. I don't know if I should divulge this secret to the masses, but they have $3 sushi for happy hour- and it's actually very good! I'm a foodie so take my advice...and no, I do not like Ru San's.

I wanted to love this place. I really did. I walked by many times before going in, and it looked so pretty and fabulous in there. I can't complain about the food. It was wonderful. I had a the yellow chicken curry, and it was delicate and perfect. Some of my friends ate (and loved) the sushi, and we all enjoyed our drinks. I had a berry mojito, and my friends all had the hot sake. But the service was atrocious. I know that Atlanta rolls up its sidewalks early, but the service at Pacific Rim was just unforgivable. Waiters stood around chatting, ignoring our calls for the drink menu for almost 10 minutes, though they were standing nearby. No one offered us second drinks, and it was obvious that they wanted to leave. I even asked for the wine list, and our waiter pretended to forget, and brought the check instead. When we left (I kid you not) the cook was standing outside chain smoking. Yucko. Synopsis: wonderful food, great decor, horrible service.

Located near peachtree center, this place was nearby so I stopped on in. The price was a little higher compared to other food in the area, but it was still decent. They have a short list of sushi rolls that you can get discounted during happy hour, but it's pretty much the standard stuff here for a little higher price.

My husband and I decided to go here after reading many reviews. We ordered three different sushi rolls and sake. Both were really good. The waiter was a little slow, there were a couple times we were just waiting. It's hard for us to try new sushi restauraunts because we love the one close to our house the most. Overall we would go here again, maybe next time try some of the many Chinese/Tai dishes they offer.

I went to Pacific Rim for a team lunch. The food was fantastic and I look forward to returning. It is reasonably priced for a lunch spot and the portions are incredibly reasonable (not gigantic, but enough to fill me). The service was exceptional as I never had an empty water glass; a rare occurrence for me. I cannot wait to go back and try the Mongolian Beef Tacos.

Top notch sushi and sashimi in a hip downtown location. Yes, it is a bit crowded and noisy (sit outside on the patio if weather permits to avoid this) but it is HANDS DOWN the best sushi in the downtown area. The bartender, Sam, makes a great martini while we were waiting for our table. We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time (a must if a convention is in town) and got a lovely table on the glass where we were able to people watch. The seaweed salad and sashimi were clean and delectable. I had the nightly special, the Hong Kong style sea bass and it melted in my mouth with just enough sauce to accent the fish but not drown my tastebuds. The only disappointment was the tempura on the soft-shelled crab seemed a little rubbery but my server immediately noticed I had not touched the spider roll and asked if something was wrong. They immediately replaced it and the new roll was heaven on Earth. I could not recommend more highly!!

This place was alright. I guess one can't expect to get great sushi in Atlanta, and this place wasn't too bad considering that. I had two sushi dishes that weren't the best, but they were acceptable. I didn't really get to try rice or other dishes, so perhaps they are better.

I love Pacific Rim! I regularly dine here for lunch during the week and I am never disappointed with the food. I typically eat the spicy seafood soup (tom yum broth) sans veggies and seafood (essentially just broth and noodles) served extra spicy. Despite my special requests, my order always comes out perfect. From time to time I will add tuna sashimi to my lunch order and am always pleased when I do. The tuna is of excellent quality, always cut perfectly, and served at the right temperature. The service at lunch time can be hit or miss. Some of the servers are very attentive where I never have to request anything while others cause you to do the head craning to see if you can hopefully catch a glimpse of them to try and get a drink refill. The hit or miss service is the only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars. I highly recommend this restaurant to those looking for a quick and enjoyable lunch.

Very nice place, the food was delicious, I had the surf and turf roll and the chicken coconut soup, very nice staff I will definitely come back and recommend it.

Great selection and service. Solid menu- loved the firecracker roll! Fish was fresh and wasabi was hot. Great place for happy hour since they have great apps and rolls.

Food was delicious, had several unique types of sushi which were all very good, calamari was great and the portion was big, dessert could have been better, presentation was nice, don't use the bathrooms though... they were disgusting !!

Extremely poor service. The waiter never put in my app, never checked to see how my entrée was nor brought any water. I ordered the Wasabi filet. The filet was good but on the filet was about 5 times too much Wasabi to taste the steak. Not recommend.

(3)Kelly O.

(5)Annette S.
Dinner was okay. The sushi was best, sashimi wonderful. Fried dumplings tasty with good dipping sauces. Thai basil prawns were the disappointment. I wish they would have had more flavor. Not sure I would go back.
(3)Steph C.
(2)April V.
Food is good but service leaves much to be desired. Got our drinks at the same time our food was served - 20 min after ordering...
(2)Tony T.
Food was great. I ordered a vegetarian dish and it came with a nice pice of beef. Told our waiter about it and nothing was done about it. Not even a sorry sir. No services at all. Will not come back.
(1)Allie M.
(5)Xerxes N.
(4)Kisha M.
I wanted to like this place, but I just didn't. The sushi was BLAND. The dumplings were pretty good. Service was pretty fast at lunch. Not worth the money though. Doubt I will return.
(2)Luis M.
Excellent place to eat! I've Been here twice on this trip and both times the service and food have been great. I highly recommend the fish tacos and the Vietnamese rolls. The service was super fast and the staff constantly checked on my needs.
(4)Lia P.
(2)Ray M.
great service ,very helpful staff , food was very flavorful some of the best thai food I can remember coconut soup is really good had the thai BBQ chicken special outstanding if in the area give this place a try the group i was with went back the next night
(4)Ray T.
(4)Yan T.
(4)Claudia R.
(3)Gladys N.
Very nice place, the food was delicious, I had the surf and turf roll and the chicken coconut soup, very nice staff I will definitely come back and recommend it.
(5)Alison L.
(3)Lauren J.
Sushi is way over priced, but food is good, we went on a Wednesday night, our server took his time ever coming by our table to say the least. The seating right in the path of the kitchen walk way needs to be removed!! You get the bad smell of the kitchen and dishes.
(3)David B.
My introduction to Sushi I liked! Can get pricy quick, but it's worth the occasional splurge! My favorite time to go here is in the Spring! Enjoy the downtown with good sushi!
(4)Jeehae K.
I would give it a D for delicious that is! Got the Korean beef short rib entrée. Mouthwatering just thinking about it again. Being Korean, I can tell good flavoring for korean short ribs and I have to say this was amazing. The other thing that took my attention was the side of mashed potatoes it also came with. Really, really good. Finished off with a creme brulee desert, which was just perfect. 10/10 would come back again. Service was attentive and not intrusive as well, which is a huge plus for me. As for environment? 10/10 Good job!
(5)Randi E.
(2)Steven A.
(5)Anna S.
(3)Phoebe T.
(4)Julie L.
Great selection and service. Solid menu- loved the firecracker roll! Fish was fresh and wasabi was hot. Great place for happy hour since they have great apps and rolls.
(3)Don S.
(5)David M.

(2)Angela K.

(4)Londonbridge X.

I came with a friend of mine we had amazing martinis and delicious Sushi and the tuna appetizer with the pineapple!!! Loved it made my Atlanta experience perfect.
(5)Sana N.
Service was average, but the Sushi was good :-)
(3)Asma A.
(2)Diane K.
(5)Rupa M.
Great for families, easy and casual, good food, great service. Try the pad Thai and shrimp.
(4)Mandi T.
I am a fan!
(3)Nikki T.
(2)Maria T.
I must start off by saying the pad thai was delicious, the service was great, but the prices were high for what you were getting. I understand that it is located in downtown, but lets be realistic...its three blocks from the Publix and the bums live just around the corner.
(4)Shalu S.
(4)Cecilia L.
(2)Galen C.
Ate here on a Sunday night with some friends. I had the Malaysian Chicken Curry. It suited me just fine, although it would likely be a bit too mild for a real fan of spicy food. The restaurant was quiet and permitted conversation. Service was pleasant and efficient.
(4)Sean C.
(4)Lauren E.
I went here a little earlier in the week with a friend of mine. We were just walking around downtown and stumbled upon this place. It's a beautiful restaurant and in the last afternoon, it was fairly empty, so getting a table and good service wasn't a problem. This is coming from the opinion of someone who doesn't eat meat. The menu limited me to: one entrée- veggies with tofu and rice and edamame. So... I had the veggies with tofu and edamame as an appetizer. My friend got the shrimp and chicken pad thai noodles. My entrée needed help, it was completely tasteless (thank God I really love my veggies, I can eat them bland or spiced up) and the tofu, which the menu listed as fried, but was the super soft, spongy tofu that I really don't like. I was hoping that the tofu would be a little firmer, but a little inquiry to the server could have solved that mystery for me. I was super hungry when I got my food, so I ate as much of it as I could. I'm a cheap eater, so paying $12 for a dinner I don't like made it taste even worse. I had high hopes for this place after reading all the good reviews on here. In closing: didn't like the food, place was nice, service was cool, won't willingly return.

(3)Jin K.
(4)KevDeb R.
Couldn't be more thrilled that the concierge at the Marriott recommended this place to us. The service was great. Our server was full of suggestions without being pushy. We had the spring rolls for an appetizer and split a super crunch roll. Both were amazing! I had the grilled shrimp and vegetables. Again, amazing. It was quite a generous portion. My friend had the seafood hotpot and massamon curry. She loved it. We also spilt the mango creme brûlée. Everything was delicious! Can't wait to go again! We also tried the peach and mango sangria-pretty good. We liked the ginger peach bellini more. The ginger was a nice twist to the drink, but well worth it!

(3)Jim D.

(4)Dru M.
(4)Angelica R.
(4)Heewon Y.
(3)Rusty M.
This is the best sushi we have ever had. We had the spicy tuna and firecracker roll. AMAZING!!! Service was FANTASTIC! But sushi was even better. We also had the Mai tai with 151 that was strong and great!!!! Great parking across the street also.
(5)Alex F.
I have been eating at this establishment for many years. The food is always great, the staff is friendly and very helpful. They gladly let you order off of the menu and the owner is usually on the premise. I have never been let down by this fine dining establishment.
(5)Paula K.
(4)John S.
(4)Debby L.
(4)George W.
It was expensive and not very impressive.
(2)Amanda E.
(4)Katie M.
Ok. Satay and lo mein were good but not great. Went for comfort food and found it.
(3)Michelle W.
Went here for lunch today. Good, but not THAT good. I had the rainbow rolll and salmon sashimi. I don't know its just a decent place, nothing really special in terms of sushi. But still good!
(3)Dorothy R.
(1)Terry T.
(5)An absolute delight - a phantastic mix of different asian cuisines with an American touch.

(4)Ben H.
Meh. 2
(2)Michael S.
I went here for dinner while in town for a convention in October. I had Malaysian chicken and the food was pretty good. Unfortunately, the service was below par and one of my dinner guests did not get her drinks til long after the food arrived. Overall good but not great.
(3)Brion V.
(2)Ashley M.
(4)Mike S.
Very good sushi and a nice atmosphere.
(4)Susan L.

(4)Linnie S.
Food was delicious, had several unique types of sushi which were all very good, calamari was great and the portion was big, dessert could have been better, presentation was nice, don't use the bathrooms though... they were disgusting !!

(4)Mark O.
(4)Julien S.

This restaurant had fantastic food. I loved the sushi. Can't remember the name of the dish I had but it was wonderful and filling. The service was good and the place was quiet and beautifully decorated.

(4)Julia H.

(3)Jenifer M.
(4)Jeff G.
(4)Dawn B.
(5)Barn M.
This place was alright. I guess one can't expect to get great sushi in Atlanta, and this place wasn't too bad considering that. I had two sushi dishes that weren't the best, but they were acceptable. I didn't really get to try rice or other dishes, so perhaps they are better.
(3)SS J.
(4)Keisha C.
I had the wanchi shrimp. It was delicious, flavorful. I also had a spicy mai tai.....omg it was so good and strong, i had a nice buzz after dinner The service was fast and friendly. I definitely recommend Pacific Rim Bistro!!
(5)Tonya H.
(3)J B.
Extremely poor service. The waiter never put in my app, never checked to see how my entrée was nor brought any water. I ordered the Wasabi filet. The filet was good but on the filet was about 5 times too much Wasabi to taste the steak. Not recommend.
(1)Matt M.
(1)Jay L.
(3)Kelly G.

(3)Kelly O.
Came here after work with two other people on a Tuesday and we waited 45 minutes for hot sake and wine. C Some back on the next Monday and the place was dead, food was good and drinks were served promptly.
(4)Nate C.
(4)Greg N.
(5)Annette S.
Dinner was okay. The sushi was best, sashimi wonderful. Fried dumplings tasty with good dipping sauces. Thai basil prawns were the disappointment. I wish they would have had more flavor. Not sure I would go back.
(3)Steph C.
(1)Allie M.
(5)Xerxes N.
(4)Lia P.
(2)Ray M.
great service ,very helpful staff , food was very flavorful some of the best thai food I can remember coconut soup is really good had the thai BBQ chicken special outstanding if in the area give this place a try the group i was with went back the next night
(4)Ray T.
(4)Yan T.
(4)Claudia R.
(3)Gladys N.
Very nice place, the food was delicious, I had the surf and turf roll and the chicken coconut soup, very nice staff I will definitely come back and recommend it.
(5)Alison L.
(5)Randi E.
(2)Steven A.
(5)Anna S.
(3)Phoebe T.
(4)Julie L.
Great selection and service. Solid menu- loved the firecracker roll! Fish was fresh and wasabi was hot. Great place for happy hour since they have great apps and rolls.
(3)Don S.
(5)David M.

(1)Caroline C.
Yuck. Avoid the sushi at all cost! Smelly, and not at all fresh. The spider roll was obviously cooked last week - clammy and soggy
(1)Mick D.
Five stars for the service. Which (during DragonCon) can get kind-of crazy. But our server was polite, and our initial round of food came to us quickly. And it was tasty! But... Three starts for the quantity size. These may have been among the smallest maki and nigiri I've ever seen.
(4)Kischa J.
(2)Jill W.
(1)Jason G.
(2)Angela K.
(4)Joanna N.
I actually went here a couple of times with my friends and really enjoyed the food. The spicy fried calamari would have to be my most favorite thing out of their menu, along side the dynamite roll! Just a heads up, they also have green tea ice cream here as well!
(4)Londonbridge X.
(4)Alexa L.
I came with a friend of mine we had amazing martinis and delicious Sushi and the tuna appetizer with the pineapple!!! Loved it made my Atlanta experience perfect.
(5)Sana N.
Service was average, but the Sushi was good :-)
(3)Asma A.
(2)Diane K.
(5)Rupa M.
Great for families, easy and casual, good food, great service. Try the pad Thai and shrimp.
(4)Mandi T.
I am a fan!
(3)Nikki T.

(2)Galen C.
Ate here on a Sunday night with some friends. I had the Malaysian Chicken Curry. It suited me just fine, although it would likely be a bit too mild for a real fan of spicy food. The restaurant was quiet and permitted conversation. Service was pleasant and efficient.

(4)John S.
(4)Annie L.
(4)Debby L.
(4)George W.
It was expensive and not very impressive.

(3)Dave L.
(3)Jim D.
Seafood hot pot with curry sauce was delicious - sushi rolls were fresh and delicious - straightforward without many "signature" rolls. Service was attentive but not intrusive. It is located near many hotels and the conference center downtown, and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of our meal.

(4)Angelica R.
(4)Heewon Y.
(5)Paula K.

(4)Katie M.
(1)Terry T.
(5)An absolute delight - a phantastic mix of different asian cuisines with an American touch.

Meh. 2
(2)Michael S.
I went here for dinner while in town for a convention in October. I had Malaysian chicken and the food was pretty good. Unfortunately, the service was below par and one of my dinner guests did not get her drinks til long after the food arrived. Overall good but not great.

(2)Ashley M.
(4)Mike S.
Very good sushi and a nice atmosphere.
(4)Susan L.

(4)Mark O.
(4)Julien S.
(1)Marilou A.
(4)Kathy H.
(5)S L.
(3)KC S.
(4)Michelle B.
This restaurant had fantastic food. I loved the sushi. Can't remember the name of the dish I had but it was wonderful and filling. The service was good and the place was quiet and beautifully decorated.
(5)Carolyn B.
(4)Rick C.
(4)Linnie S.
Food was delicious, had several unique types of sushi which were all very good, calamari was great and the portion was big, dessert could have been better, presentation was nice, don't use the bathrooms though... they were disgusting !!
(4)Julia H.
(3)Eugene H.
Located near peachtree center, this place was nearby so I stopped on in. The price was a little higher compared to other food in the area, but it was still decent. They have a short list of sushi rolls that you can get discounted during happy hour, but it's pretty much the standard stuff here for a little higher price.
(3)Jenifer M.
(4)Jeff G.
(4)Dawn B.
(5)Barn M.
This place was alright. I guess one can't expect to get great sushi in Atlanta, and this place wasn't too bad considering that. I had two sushi dishes that weren't the best, but they were acceptable. I didn't really get to try rice or other dishes, so perhaps they are better.
(3)SS J.
