Amazingly handcrafted chutneys. Nicole and Dontreil were AMAZING. They showed mii how to eat a Naanwhich. They allowed me to sample the different Chutneys. I would definetlely come back, which is an hour away for the excellent food and even better service!!! Thanx guys

NaanStop without any naan. It was going to take 15 minutes for us to get any naan. Our samosa was still frozen on the inside. The chicken tikka was flavorless and the last of the pot. Service was slow and unapologetic.

Ive heard about NaanStop for a long time and finally got the chance to check it out. Being an Indian I recommend this place. For those people who dont know about this place its basically like Chipotle. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala Bowl with white rice with a side of yogurt and cilantro chutney. The bowl is $6.49 with a drink +tax your looking at $8.32. The server welcoming us was amazing. Her name is Nicole and she explained how everything works and what each item is. Excellent choice for lunch and the server was very friendly. This place is good and definitely worth a trip back.

I really like this place. I considered giving it 5 stars even because I think for what it is - it's quite good. If you have never been to Naan Stop it's a counter assembly style place SORT OF like Chipotle. You pick either naan, rice, salad then you pick your protein and toppings for it. The comparison to Chipotle is no where near perfect. For example, when we went for dinner tonight we watched them roll out the dough for the Naan and cook them fresh to order the Samosas were also fried to order. The fresh feel of the food made it different from normal counter-style faster food placers. The actual food was pretty good. I ordered a naan-which with paneer tikka masala and a samosa. The samosa was pretty great. It had good flavor, came with a pretty tasty sweet and spicy dipping sauce, and the crust on it was amazing. The paneer in the naan-which was also awesome. I don't really order paneer too much because sometimes I think it gets soggy or doesn't absorb flavor but this was the perfect texture and tasted amazing. Unfortunately, the fresh-to-order naan just gets really soggy underneath all the tikka masala sauce. The sandwich was a little bit of a mess to eat and the naan would have probably been a lot better if it hadn't soaked up all that sauce. Regardless, it was a totally tasty meal! Service was really good. You can tell they'd maybe struggle a little for the lunch and dinner rush but the owner (or the manager, I'm not sure) was really trying to lead and get everyone on the same page to make the service efficient. Lovely experience, park in the back.

Yum! My daughter and I love Indian flavors and here we can get them in a casual and delicious way. She said, "...this is like an Indian Chipotle!" and I suppose she's right in that you start by choosing whether you want your food in a bowl with rice, or in a wrap or in a salad. To me the quality is higher than a Chipotle. All the sauces and condiments are very flavorful and tasty, the main items (Chicken Tikka, etc) are super delicious. A really nice guy explained the options. We'll be back.

This place is great!! The food is always good and fresh! I was first introduced to this place at the GSU location but I don't get a chance to go to that area too often. So when I saw on their new location in Buckhead, I couldn't wait for them to open! I personally order a Naanwich with Chicken and almost every other time, they'll actually make the naan fresh while I wait! It always tastes better that way! And their Samosas are great too! Try it out! If you don't like it then your taste buds are screwed up or something. Best Indian Restaurant in Buckhead!! Convenient too! And it takes less than 3-5 minutes for your order!

I've always been an American food type of guy but I always keep a good Indian food spot as my go to place. lucky for me this is just down the street from my work AND my wife is addicted to the samosas! i pass naan stop on my way to & from work. if my wife doesn't pick up the phone and I'm not sure if dinner is ready I can always pick up a few snacks knowing it'll be eaten by my wife & little ones...these guys have saved me too many times!

I love the NaanStop downtown so I was thrilled to see one open in Buckhead. Unfortunately, my meal was terrible. I ordered Saag Paneer. It was all paneer.. virtually no spinach...and it was very watery. I am bewildered at how such a bad dish was created at a place that has great naan and a reliable samosa. Unlikely to return.

Full review + pictures up on my website! wp.me/p4GjLH-8s NaanStop boasts authentic Indian cooking made accessible. At noon on a weekday when I stopped in for a bite, the place was bumpin' with youngsters, some of which had inevitably crossed the street from our office building to get some lunch. NaanStop offers Chipotle-style meals, in which your food moves down an assembly line, and you get to pick and choose your ingredients yourself. Whether it can compete with the actual Chipotle, which is located directly next door, remains to be seen, but Naanstop is definitely doing something right if they're still operating after 3 years. Their menu shows that you can customize a meal for yourself in seconds. Choose between a rice bowl, salad or naanwhich, made with freshly baked naan out of their 600-degree tandoor oven. Choose a protein, like their Chicken Tikka Masala (a crowd favorite that's marinated overnight in spices) or their Lamb, which is braised for four hours. If you're vegetarian or vegan, you can't go wrong with their Chola (stewed chickpeas in a flavorful sauce) or the Paneer Tikka Masala (fresh cheese and spices) And if you still can't decide, go ahead and ask to try a sample. Top your creation with one of four chutneys, made fresh daily. Finish your meal off with toppings like grilled onions and peppers, or spinach, and you've got a balanced entree for $6-$9. My rice bowl with chicken ($7) was served in a delicious tomato cream sauce. Paired with the Cool chutney, my entree was well-balanced in flavor, and the onions were not overpowering. NaanStop seemed to do a fairly accurate job translating traditional Indian flavors into a fast food meal. While their menu borders on stereotypical Indian fast-food options, their food is made with more authentic ingredients, in more traditional ways. While I would have enjoyed a bit larger of a serving size, I understand what I got, considering that my lunch cost $7 flat. The one qualm I had about NaanStop was the service. The line was unnecessarily slow and my rice bowl was sloppily made. One of the line workers even added spinach when I didn't ask for it.

Delicious food! This place is a great place to go if you love Indian food! And it's super fast which is uncommon for an Indian food place. I loved the service, Nicole was a sweetheart with a great personality! I promise when you eat here, the whole experience is pleasant and will leave you more than satisfied!

In the heart of Buckhead!! The parking in back was a little peculiar and where to walk up to the restaurant. We used a scoutmob so there is not much you can complain about a $7 dinner for two. We had the turkey sausage and a the chicken masala in a white rice bowl and naam. The food was average. The naam was great. Next time I think I'd rather go to cafe Bombay or Ashiana.

Food is pretty good and a good value for the area - no, it's not "authentic Indian," it's fast and inexpensive with an Indian twist. I appreciate an alternative to tacos or burgers in that format, and found the flavors tasty and the portions satisfying. However, this location is suffering from some really poor management and/or staffing. Food prep area was not kept free of clutter, food/sauces are not kept properly heated, dining area was dirty (including dirty dustpan in the middle of the floor), and bathroom was filthy including backed up toilet. Obviously a solid chain with a good product but poor execution at this location.

I've been wary of eating Indian food ever since a couple of Indian food aftermath experiences I've had. We pulled up to the restaurant after the wary group decided on NaanStop for lunch. Parking is very limited in front, so we parked in the back, which contains a shared lot for Lovies, Chipotle and NaanStop. NaanStop is organized in a Chipotle-ordering style, so it's ironic that they are located next door to each other. You order your starch/grain, your meat/protein, your chutney/sauce, and finally your side. I ordered a brown basmati rice bowl, with the halal lamb and the native Indian hot (chili and cilantro) chutney. I tried to order a chai but all the cups of chai had frozen in the back of the fridge (someone needs to turn that down....) so I ordered a mango lassi, per the server's recommendation. The ones he pulled from the back of the fridge were also frozen so he handed me a cup from the back. The rice bowl was amaaaaaazing. My lamb was tender and meaty, while the sauce burned my tongue to shreds, but I loved it. The masala fries that my coworker ordered was only ok. The blend of flavors didn't really work for us. My mango lassi was pretty disappointing. The juice is really thick, so I'm guessing that's why it was so hard to chill thoroughly. I didn't want to add ice in it to ruin the consistency of the mango lassi, but it really was hard to drink room temperature. I ended up tossing half of it away because it was just becoming hard to drink. The flavors are very interesting and I love mango, but I found it not very refreshing. Overall the meal was pleasant, but not mind-numbingly good, although it was tongue numbing. However, I will definitely come back to try some of the other meats and chutneys, because I WANT MY CHAI.

This is the subway of Indian food. Don't let that fool you. The flavor profile was spot on. We give special thanks to Dontrey. And I must apologize if I spelled his name wrong because he deserves a lot of credit not only for his wonderful out going personality but his also for his masterful specially designed naanwhich. Way to go Dontrey!! Please stop in and ask him how he likes his naanwhich. Tell him you read it here.

Came a bit before opening and the friendly staff let me wait inside. I watched them make the naan fresh, baked in an oven contraption. Chipotle-style, I walked down the counter and chose type (naan wich), protein (chicken tikka masala), and sauce (cool and medium). See picture for ordering guidance and choices. The chicken was fresh as I saw it being cooked. By the time I got a chance to eat it 30 minutes later, the naan was soggy. I could still taste the burnt parts which needs to be improved on. I could not taste any garlic. The samosa is massive. The crust is not too thick but still very oily. I love potatoes so I scarfed up the stuffing pretty quickly. This part was good. Overall, it's an interesting ethnic twist to the Chipotle idea. However, it doesn't taste like what I imagine is truly authentic Indian food (based on the restaurants I've gone to with Indian friends). I hope they do well. The location is good for white collared workers who can walk to the area, don't have to deal with parking, and can grab a quick meal. It's just not my cup of tea and I'd rather try something new.

Love this place! I've seen the owners at various Yelp events over the years and they are also part of my 2 degrees of separation here in ATL and are great friends with an amazing couple I know. I used to work a couple of blocks down the street from this location and was anticipating the grand opening of their second location. I never got around to checking out their first location in the Midtown area so was happy to see that they were going to be opening up this location in Buckhead. You can find them directly across the street from the Atlanta Business Village, next to the Kroger/Jason's Deli shopping center. My friend, P and I were famished. I was uber excited to try their version of tikka masala and couldn't wait to get my "food on" here. The set up on how you order your food is very similar to Moe's or Chipotle. You select your base, rice or salad and then your meat and toppings. I definitely went for the brown rice because I was starving and didn't mind carb loading. (Loved the option of sautéed green peppers and onions and all the sauces that were available to add to our "bowl.") Of course knowing me, I asked for ALL the toppings and more. We picked up a couple of garlic naan orders and was on our way out the door. Food was solid and I definitely look forward to returning with other friends when craving INSTANT yet flavorful Indian food. Plenty of indoor seating and they have a self-serve fountain machine. This restaurant is already making the headlines and getting massive attention upon opening their first location. I have no doubt that their Buckhead location will be equally successful. Their staff was super courteous and friendly and was extremely patient with us as we take our time reviewing their menu for the first time. Since I'm a sucker for fries, I'll definitely have to try their masala fries upon my next visit. Great job, Neal and Samir! Your restaurant rocks!!

Family owned restaurant using grandmother's recipes makes this a favorite stop for a nice lunch. The food is made fresh daily and good. Prices are affordable. Glad to have this place as an option when in Buckhead.

Popped in for the 1st time for a bite. Arrived during off peak hours. The gentleman behind the line was very welcoming, polite and informative. Much appreciated. The kitchen was DIRTY! Funky trays, food on the floor. Dining room looked like the lunch crowd just left. Chairs not tucked under. Tables empty of everything but crumbs & not wiped down. Everything was yummy. Would totally come back.

The first time I sampled this restaurants cuisine was at a food fair and it was awesome! It was my first introduction to Indian food and it left me wanting more! They consider themselves Indian fast food. You are able to get healthily bits here, and some Indian indulgent foods like a deep fried potato ball of goodness called Samosas! I had the lamb rapped in a Naanwhich and it was delicious! I totally recommend you check them out the food and customer service was wonderful!

Finally made my way here last night. I don't understand why fellow yelpers mentioned Naanstop is a better version of Chipotle, maybe cos I have never been to a Chipotle. Hmmm.. Anyway, had an early dinner here last night, it was 5+ in the evening and already we were not the first here. I find the concept rather refreshing. On the wall, there are tips letting one know how to order. Step 1 Base: to choose naanwich, rice (white or brown basmati) or salad Step 2 Protein: Chicken Tikka Masala - all natural, marinated & grilled chicken Kabob - Indian turkey sausage Chola - Garbanzo beans simmered with tomato & spices Punjabi Dal - Stewed Lentils Paneer - Indian cheese in tikka masala or palak (spinach) (seasonal item) Lamb - Slow-cooked in a tomato & yogurt curry Step 3 Chutneys: Cool - Yogurt & Cilantro Sweet - Apple & tamarind Medium - Coconut & mint Native Indian Hot - Chili & cilantro Step 4 Sides (Sides are optional) Samosa - crispy fried pastry stuffed with spiced potatoes Samosa Chaat - samosa topped with chola & chutneys Masala fries - fries loaded with tikka masala & cool chutney Naan - fresh Indian flat bread I ordered the chicken tikka masala with white basmatic rice and cool chutney. So predictable of me, I know :( I also ordered the Mango Lassi and samosas to go. I suffered another food coma after this dinner, I was exceptionally quiet, haha.. Had the samosa only today, it was still very good. So what's my take? My food - definitely A (+1) My dinner companions' food - everyone loves their naanwich meal!! A (+1) Service - A (+1) (the staff who took our orders was nice) Cleanliness - Bathroom is clean, eating area too. A (+1) Health score - A (they scored a 100 here!!) (+1) Mango Lassi - taste more like mango juice, sorry!! B (-1) Location - A (+1) I can literally walk here if it is not too cold outside. Parking - limited and tricky in the front. B (-1) someone mentioned one can park at the back? Hmm.. Will check that next time I am here. As a whole I am excited to have NaanStop near to home. No fancy decor, just good inexpensive food in a good location near me :)

Poorly overseen by owners. I went in at 845 and noticed the following, line was a mess, bread was stale, out of sautéed veggies, cold rice, salad served at room temperature out of a lexan pan (not refrigerated) cold toppings for salads were not available, water out of order, trash cans turned upside down, messy dinning room. Place has a lot of upside but will last with these inconsistencies.

I've been wanting to visit Naan Stop for awhile now and finally got around to it. Let me first say, Indian food is the greatest thing in the world to me: I crave it at all times and make authentic Indian food in my own kitchen regularly. Thus, I think I may set the bar too high. I ordered a brown rice bowl with chola, onions and peppers, and the medium chutney. I also got a samosa on the side. The samosa was the best part of my meal- it was nice and crispy, the potatoes and filling were flavored really well. It could have been a good bit warmer though, for sure. The brown rice bowl was just bland. Indian food should be the complete opposite of bland, but this was just completely lacking in seasoning. I got the medium chutney, knowing how hot Indian spice can be, but regret it 'cause it really didn't add much heat at all. I seriously love the concept of this place, but the food is just lacking.
(3)Kwame O.
Awesome fast food Indian concept second location is located on piedmont rd. Right behind or below Loves bbq and right next to chipotle. Menu , Price and quality is the same as the broad street location. This new location have many plus. Free parking is located behind the location. The lot is shared with Loves BBQ. The location is a little bigger than there first one. Seating is about the same. Bar style table tops towards the window and traditional seating on the left end of the restaurant. Lunch time can be very busy, but the line moves very fast. I get my normal chicken tiki masala bowl with rice, spinach and a spicy chutney. And a side of there famous potato samosa. Overall great little concept with a additional location same quality, reasonable price and great service.
(5)Brad B.
Don't stop, won't stop, I'm going to be coming here Naanstop. With classic rnb playing in the background, we checked out this place for the first time tonight. Damn son. I got the Naanwich with Chicken Tikka Masala and a side of lentils. It was so damn good. Definitely go with the garlic naan. The setup is a lot like Chipotle in the way you order. The staff was really friendly and the food was just delicious. I will be back, possibly tomorrow for lunch. That's my word and I'm sticking to it.
(5)Oliver M.
Quality and quick naan! The sandwich style combos are a fun Indian-ish lunch. The Indian Hot is not as spicy as most Indian places with actual curry. You don't really want it to burn when you need to get back to work, so that really isn't a problem. Check ScoutMob before you go! They often have a discount.
(4)Alex P.
If my stomach could handle it, I would be eating Indian food every day of the week. With Naanstop, that's actually realistic: prices are under 10 bucks and relatively easy on the spice. It's an American twist on Indian food and it's absolutely phenomenal. Now, I am no rare visitor to their other location and this one just opened up. So far, no issues, same great service and delicious food. The building is tiny, so I would imagine that a weekday lunch would be very cramped for spots. But then again, so is their original location downtown. I came on a weekend afternoon and it was very relaxed, no line. Naanwich on garlic naan is the thing to get for me, with spinach, chicken tikki masala and Indian hot chutney. Don't worry, it's not really Indian hot. If you had true Indian before, you know that Indian food is rated in spiciness from 1 to 10. I'd say this sits somewhere in the 5 range. Naanstop is a very welcome addition to buckhead, I can literally walk there and will be a frequent visitor! Ps. Samosas are to die for!
(5)Mariam A.
This place was awesome! The concept is amazing and the food is delicious. My only complaint is that it is understaffed - they were super backed up on naan orders (which is the restaurant's namesake for crying out loud! With that being said - this is a great, affordable, HEALTHY, fast casual option that I would surely return to. Oh. and the Sauces. All the sauces. I am drooling right now just thinking of them. Yummmmmm.
(4)Jeff S.
I will tell you what is not Naaaaan Stop. Thier supply of Naans. I ordered a chicken Naanwich. The naan itself was made fresh but was a little small. SO I decided to go back and buy a single extra nana for 1.49 since the chicken was falling out of the naan i had. The guy said they were out of naans. I had the last one. They were short staffed and so not enough dough was prepared in the morning. THe braised lamb looked like all mushed up. SO I passed on that. I was hoping for lamb kabobs that had good meaty pieces of lamb. THat left me with the chicken tikka masala. It was decent. So I have been to an Arbys where they ran out of roast beef. I have been to Krispy Kreme where they ran out of glazed donuts. Now this. Not enough naans at a naaaan stop. Cleanliness in the dining room was an issue. Cleanliness behind the counter was worse. Place has a good concept. Needs to raise their game. I will return to give them another shot as the reviews seem good. Food itself deserves closer to 3 stars.
(2)Chris J.
yep as good as it gets.. the food tastes really authentic, its super quick and the samosas are the best I've had and I've had them in India. Location is great right here in the heart of Buckhead, friendly staff, plenty of parking, and beer (wine too for those consume). Literally what's not to love. Chris
(5)Mit P.
This place is better based on my most recent visit. It seems they make the naan to order and that makes a massive difference - the naan is now soft and crispy at the edges - perfect. Other points still hold, but one key tip: Ask them to add masala sauce to your naan wrap. That makes a massive difference! What's good: 1) Indian fast food - rare genre among a sea of burrito places - adds culinary variety to the quick lunch option set. Formula based 3 step menu makes ordering easy (like at Chipotle). 2) Naan wrap with turkey kebab is excellent. For best results ask them to make it with garlic naan, masala sauce, spicy sauce, grilled onions and peppers. Also try the samosa and the masala fries. 3) 100% health and safety score - this place is super clean and well run as Theresa H has observed. 4) Quick and inexpensive. What could be better: 1) Shredded chicken tikka masala is pathetic. They should use cubed chicken breast or not bother. I never eat chicken here for this reason. 2) How about some paneer tikka masala?
(3)Ako S.
Food was awesome. My wife and I went there a couple of days ago. The chicken and rice was really good and my wife enjoyed the vegetarian bowl. We will definitely go back in a few days. Service was pretty good and the naan bread was okay. They prepare the naan bread first then prepare your meal. I like my bread really hot so I will request that they bring the bread out to me after they give me my plate. If you don't mind your bread cooled off, then go with the order in how they do things. Again, you won't be disappointed. Give them a try!
(3)Amanda D.
If you know me, you know I LOVED Naanstop when I was a GSU student. I'm fairly certain after my last day of class I was there one last time. And then I saw the good news: another one in Buckhead! And promptly forgot. Then I saw it on Scoutmob, and I realized why I never would see it...it's next to Chipotle and I love me some Chipotle. So I've been a couple times now, and it's solid of course, but they seem a bit slow pretty often even when it's not busy - and I'm coming from the downtown location that would get slammed for lunch. I came around 7:45pm on a Thursday and it was a mess, very slow and they were running out of stuff, I don't know if people called out or what but they only had three people working and I feel really bad for them because that can't be standard. They definitely held it together as best they could and that doesn't count against them at all in this review, having worked at a Starbucks before where at its busiest we would get to only have three staff too. But the food is as good as it is at the original location. I always get the same thing because I'm easy to please: chicken tikka masala bowl with veggies, spinach, brown rice, and the yogurt and super spicy chutneys. I'll sometimes get the masala fries because then I can eat those and a little of the bowl and save the rest of it for a second meal. It tastes the same as the original spot, and I think the employees here are even nicer. You can also get wine and beer at this location, and on Thursdays they have specials on both I think (or at least beer). So I'm really glad this isn't too much of a drive, and I'll be back many more times for more.

Chipotle Bombay! Choose a base, a main topping, a chutney, add some sides and a drink and you're looking at a $15 lunch with more food than you'll finish is one sitting (maybe). Not bad for uptown, I guess. The naan is made fresh in front of your face as you wait in the sometimes awful Buckhead lunch line traffic and it is a cinematic production. When I'm shuffling through the line, deadened by hours in an office, lost in a milieu of blue button down shirts and "spending reports" I imagine the man at the naan station, a true artist, rolling the dough out, garlicking the dough, casting it into a horrifying iron enclosure and plucking it out of the flames, wrapping it in foil and letting the lines in his face fold into a smile, wiping his furrowed brow and sending his beautiful bread art to the counter as its sold for $1.49 to a woman who thinks its too chewy. I wish a piece came with the entreés but it's extra. The samosas are great and I'm not mad at the curry fries. The chai tea is ehhhhhhh, and I always go for the chicken tikka masala bowl wit that coconut/mint chutney because I fear new things. The service has always been quick and smiley, if you're into that. Pros: Good food, made quickly at a decent price (for Buckhead), when there's a line it moves fast and there's plenty parking Cons: Naan is extra. Everything is extra. I have to be in Buckhead. Summary: I fux wittit.
(4)Tatiana H.
The naan is made to order--very nice. Granted the person in front of me had a huge order, service was still a little slow. I had to wait a good 5 minutes before my order was taken and there were 4 people working behind the counter (reasoning for the missing star). I really enjoyed the pick-your-own style. As the previous reviewer (Bryan M) noted, this is like an Indian Chipotle. Which is actually kind of interesting, since Chipotle is next door. The lady who served me was sweet and patient. If you're not sure what protein to get, they let you try a sample beforehand. In addition, they have 4 different types of sauces, but just ask and you can choose all of them. Catfish is in season, and NaanStop's is full of flavor--the spices popped! It's more on the salty side, so I found the apple tamarind sauce balanced well with my selection. I was recommended the cilantro yogurt sauce as well which was just as amazing. This is literally Indian food, fast. A great spot to get your food to-go. The space is small and so is the parking lot. My meal came out to be under 9 bucks. I didn't need any sides because the "Naanwich" was more than enough for my tummy.

My family and I had the opportunity to visit the location on Piedmont Rd this past weekend. We were hoping to get a twist on Indian. In terms of the food it was ok at best. The cool and hot chutneys were good additions to our meal. However, the customer service experience was very poor. For starters we waited in line for over 5 minutes. We were the only ones in the line. The two persons working at the counter were griping about their jobs there while they were making our food. I guess one of the persons was ready for us to leave, so while we were eating she walked around near us and kicked the tables in and sighed loudly as she called herself cleaning up the area. In conclusion there were a number of other issues during our visit, but suffice it to say our experience was very disappointing and I don't plan to visit this location anytime in the future.

It's the Indian version of Chipotle. You order at the counter as a server assembles your food down a food line. My OCD immediately spiked when I noticed that you have to walk right to left to order which is irritating because you read left to right so it throws off your flow... But I digress. Please refer to Theresa H.'s review for a run down of the ordering process. I got the bowl of basmati brown rice with chicken tikka marsala and combined the cool and native Indian hot chutney. I also had spinach and asked for extra grilled onions and green peppers in my bowl. I was very underwhelmed by my entree. The native Indian hot chutney was too spicy for me and I had to scrap it out for it to be edible. The cool chutney lacked any real flavor. I found the chicken and rice to be bland. I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh coconut available and this was easily the best part of my meal. Nothing beats fresh coconut juice straight from the real thing. I even asked for them to crack it open for me so I could eat the meat later. I also got an order of samosa and it was really good. Perfect combination of potatoes, veggies and curry. I sampled my friend's garlic naan and thought it was bland and too chewy versus having a nice crispy texture. As someone who loves Indian food, I did not feel like my meal here was a good representation of quality Indian food. Indian fast food sounds about right. The service here was also lackluster. The girl who ranged me up at the counter struggled to acknowledge us when we arrived, never smiled and didn't even say thank you until I made a point to. Overall, there's better Indian options in the city so I wouldn't waste my time here.

This was not Indian food. This was jarred pasta sauce on some chicken. Seriously. Who the heck thinks this is Indian food? Am I spoiled living so close to Little India in NJ? My 12 year old was even disappointed. The sauce looked and tasted like jarred vodka sauce (and not a good one at that) and nothing like Masala sauce. I'm used to the fast-food Indian concept, I like IndiKitch in NY, and some of the great places around Journal Square. However, we were on vacation and this place was near our hotel. My daughter loves Indian food so we thought we'd try it. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the guys behind the counter were nice and the fresh naan was actually pretty good. The chicken masala? Awful.

I would give it a five star if the portion was bigger. But probably just becuz im such a pig lol. The sauce was delicious and spicy. Highly recommended !
(4)John B.
I love this place! I've been traveling and haven't gotten my fix for awhile. SOOOO TASTY!!!
(5)Morgan M.
Delicious, quick, affordable, and nothing like it around! The samosa chaat was my favorite! Get the mango lassi too - you won't regret it.
(5)Amit G.
Food was ok...prices are too high for what u get. Chipotle next door...much better bang for your buck...
(2)J P.
Revisited for lunch and no improvement Bland versions of Indian food Disinterested staff to the point of rudeness Naanstop is now never again stop for me
(1)Kelsi V.
Great fast Indian food. Concept is similar to Chipolte and equally as tasty! I recommend the tiki masala and naan with garlic...yummy! Optional Green spicy sauce is recommended if you like spicy. I will definitely be a regular here!
(5)Wesley H.
Great customer service. I love Indian food---and love that they're making it more accessible to the general public. If you love Chipotle, you will love Naan House. PS- Get the potato samosas!!
(5)Lori J.
Is never been to NaanStop before and I just went out on a whim and tried it out! Dontrell told me all of his favorites so I trusted him, and thank goodness o did! I think I may have a new fav lunch spot! The chicken rice bowl with the cool and sweet chutney was the bomb.com ! Then Nichole came in with an inviting personality! She out me on to her favorite beverage which is the Lychee juice drink! Just know yall have a new Naan fan!
(5)William P.
Fast food Indian. Good in theory, just not as good as the real deal. They ran out of naan and paneer, even though it's called NaanStop...
(2)Micki B.
I absolutely freaking adore this place. For anyone here who happens to have been in Berkeley, CA in the past 5 years, there is/was a magical restaurant called Urban Turban that was essentially Chipotle for Indian food. Delicious. Since leaving Northern California, I've had a hole in my heart for such a place, and dining at NaanStop finally brought me peace. They have delicious options for your main part of your naanwich, bowl or salad - lentils, chicken tikka masala (their most popular), paneer tikka masala, chickpeas. They will give you a sample if you're on the fence. Then, douse your dish in some delicious sauce: sweet tamarind, spicy chili mint, smooth and creamy yogurt. It's reasonably priced, hits the spot and what's not to love? They sell beer as well, and if you come on the right day they may even be bumping some Disney tunes. I will be back quite a bit...I hope you will indulge as well. Indian food conveniently, forever! (PS - I believe they cater, if that's something of interest.)
(5)Beatrice T.
Better than Chipotle! The food is AMAZING! Its set up is like Chipotle but Indian version. The chicken tikka masala is so delicious and so are the sauces you can add on it. You can choose between a rice bowl, salad, or naan sandwich. All are delicious and they make their own naan. I like that it's fast and delicious! Perfect for lunch! It gets packed at lunch rush hour since it is in the Buckhead business district.
(5)Andrea P.
I have been anticipating the opening of NaanStop's Buckhead location for months. Checked it out opening week and it was love at first bite! It's concept is similar to a Chipotle but with fresh delicious Indian food. The line was long shortly before Noon, but it moved quickly. While waiting you see them making the naan fresh. I ordered the naanwich with chickpeas & sweet chutney and a samosa. Both were amazing! I "MMM"ed with every bite. I can see why their samosa is award-winning. I love that their menu is veg friendlytoo. The inside is small with not much seating, but obviously as a fast casual place the tables flip quickly. I didn't see any outside seating either. A lot of people were getting their orders to go too. I also learned you can place your order ahead of time and ten go directly to the cashier when you arrive. I can't comment on the parking situation because we walked over from the office. The prices were a great value, especially for the quality. Service was efficient, not hurried, and very friendly. I will be back - again and again!
(5)Jonathan O.
Great Indian food! One of my favorite lunch spots based on quality, convenance, and a friendly staff =)
(5)Kathy P.
Good food, great customer service, and super convenient location! This was my first time and I was directed here by a 50% off deal on scoutmob and I'm glad I did. It is an Indian version of chipotle. Good, quick, and can be healthy with their vegetarian options :)
(3)Bobby H.
Awesome concept! The garlic naanwich is delicious! I highly recommend the palak (cheese) as a protein. Great natural light, knowledgeable staff, quick service, delicious food at a reasonable price. I can't wait till they open up more locations. So some minor issues I had: the signage was read from right to left. Might be a cultural thing or just pragmatic use of space but it did take some getting used to. Nothing to it though just ask the servers for help.
(5)Khuram D.
I had the rice bowl with chicken tikka masala topped with chili & cilantro chutney. The taste was very nice. My bowl didn't have as much sauce as I typically like, but that's neither here or there. Generous portions and well priced. A great fast casual Indian concept in Buckhead.
(3)Lake D.
Loved this place. So good, prepared fresh, and in house and it's affordable. Way better than it's neighbor Chipotle. You must get the Naan!
(5)Elizabeth G.
I got catering for my father in law's birthday. They were super responsive, helpful and easy to work with. The food was very affordable and really delicious. We had dal, chole, chicken tikka masala, naan, white/brown rice, samosas, assorted chutneys and mango lassi. Everyone loved the food!!!!! The chole was especially good. Can't go wrong for easy, affordable, delicious catering!
(5)Dougal C.
Tried the chicken tikka masala naanwich. I liked it! They cooked my garlic naan fresh while I was waiting in line to place my order. And the samosa for my side was cooked fresh, too. Flavors were good -- spicy, but not too much so.
(4)Vicky M.
Coming from someone who typically LOATHES Indian food, I actually really like this place. MyKease was amazing at showing me how to order and gave me samples of all the different meats so I had a better idea of my "Indian" taste. Food was fresh, delish and different, and I will definitely be going back.
(5)Danielle H.
I was ridiculously excited about trying this place, I probably hyped it up too much in my mind. I had the chicken tikka masala in the garlic naan with cool chutney. I added peppers, onions, and spinach to my sandwich. It was fine, but not especially flavorful. I also had a samosa. Their samosas were voted best pastry in Atlanta. It was good, but again, the flavor didn't knock me out. It was just kind of bland for me. Not bad, just not amazing. The person who made my food was very nice and helpful.
(3)J.C. M.
I highly recommend! Tasty, authentic Indian food with prep taking place right in front of you (you can even see the Tandoor oven). The lamb was awesome and chutneys some of the best I've had.
(5)Tim S.
Food is below average. Would not return for the food. Service was poor. We arrived at 8:40pm. We were in the restaurant finishing our meal 10 minutes after they closed when we were approached by an employee telling us they would like to close so they could go home. On our way out, we commented that we thought that was rude of the employee. He said that he was the manager and he "has a life too!" We said because of this incident, we would not return. He said "that's fine." I hope the owner reads this and corrects some behavior.
(3)Randy M.
It's Indian Chipotle. The Chutneys are good. The name slays me. I've had better naan, but you can choose to have a rice bowl or salad as a base. Conclusion. Indian Chipotle with a witty name. Would go back.
(4)Shazia T.
I was really excited to try out this place, but was disappointed. It's like a desi version of Chipotle. I had the chicken masala with brown rice and yogurt sauce. I felt like this was too Americanized for my tastes. It didn't taste Indian enough for me. However I can see its appeal to non-desis and wish Naanstop good business.
(3)Jim T.
I'm usually more measured in my reviews, but this was bad...And it should stop calling itself Indian food. The food was flavorless. And service was not so great. They forgot half of my order until I flagged the guy who took my order down. Samosa was oily and bland. The masala fries were the same...emphasis on bland. The chicken tikka naan sandwich was bland and dry. The garlic naan had no garlic flavor. Just wanted to try it out and now I know.
(2)Joshua D.
You just shouldn't rush food in general, but especially Indian food. The Naan was extremely chewy and didn't seem fresh. The service was subpar, but I will cut them some slack as it went from 2 customers to 12 in a matter of seconds. I may just be disappointed that the food was not what I am used to when it comes to Indian food and will try the little 5 points location in the future.
(2)Angel L.
Good healthy food that is actually healthier than the chipotle next door. Not cheaper though. Their naan, unfortunately, is not good. Tastes like old stall bread and I eat naan often.
(4)Michael W.
Food is FANTASTIC. I usually get a garlic naanwich. The samosas aren't the best I've had, but pretty good. I like spicy food pretty spicy for a westerner, but the spicy chutney was way, way too hot for me. I can eat salads with lots of fresh, raw, hulled (no seeds) jalapenos, but I cannot handle the hot chutney. The medium is fine though. My only complaint is that one or more of the staff often seems harried or even angry. (See update below, they may just be too hot.) I suspect they just don't have enough people for peak hours. Update: the AC situation was worked on, but it's still pretty warm in there. I walk, and it's about a mile each way, so in the business casual dress, I really do need a fairly cool place so I can cool off in time to be able to eat. If I could wear shorts, standing still by the oven to wait to order wouldn't be so bad. In slacks, a button-down and an undershirt, with no breeze, the low-to-mid 80s is pretty uncomfortable. Previous update: the food has been fantastic still, staff have been very courteous, but the temperature in the place as the weather has warned up has been ridiculously hot. There are three thermostats by the line that always read in the mid 80s, which is too hot for me to want to stand in, especially after walking there from the office, let alone stay there to eat. I'm leaving the four stars, mainly because it seems silly to ding them for what should be a simple issue, but the staff clearly would like it to be cooler, though they're very polite when I ask. And I've stopped eating there, though I still stop in once in a while to check. I suspect the issue related to the property's construction and layout. Naanstop is the upstairs tenant, and I think the heat exchanger (coil?) For their AC may be in the attic, where temperatures get crazy hot. (I had the same problem years ago.) It makes the AC run very inefficiently, and without reducing ambient temperature around the coil, no other lengths to improve cooling will achieve much. If that's what's happening here.
(4)fifita j.
Great samosas! They give you free sauces. Fresh brown rice bowls! You can choose your protein -- turkey, lamb, chicken, Chick peas...
(5)Maggie W.
Delicious. This is best lunch spot in the area. Healthy options, nice staff and a great price.
(5)T H.
The food was very good. Got the chicken wrap with a samoa. Shoutout to Dontrelle for the good customer service.
(5)G B.
Total disappointment. My frozen Indian meals have better flavor. And why serve everything in plastic? If we're eating there why not give us something reusable? Two words - Chai Pani. Their FRESH everything, full of flavor, will make you feel angry about wasting calories at Naan Stop. I wouldn't go back.
(2)Mia W.
Naan Stop is basically the Chipotle of Indian Food. Easy to order, fast, and yummy. I've had the chicken tikka masala rice bowl with garlic naan and a samosa. I was already in love with Indian food, so I'm very happy to have a fast food version that doesn't mess up the quality and taste. My only two complaints are that the garlic naan could be a little more garlicky and the location is difficult to get in and out of, especially during rush hour. I would definitely recommend Naan Stop to someone who wants to try Indian, but is nervous.
(4)Balaji T.
Same old Naan for high price for small amount .. Not worth it.. I tried work couple of items, none of them are not good for the money...
(2)Daniel C.
Make sure to try the naanwich. It's amazing!!! This place is turning into my favorite place to eat for lunch. So good!
(5)M W.
I love Indian food, but Naan Stop was a disappointment. The naan was like a piece of cardboard, and it was neither fresh nor warm. The place was still doing quite a bit of business in the early afternoon. I guess the bar is low for Indian food in Atlanta...
(2)Kelli B.
I could only give it 4 stars because the proteins are a little bland. But, the customer service is great and the Naan bread is like that, especially the garlic naan. The guy making the naan bread is great his face was all red from the heat of the oven but he was still pushing the bread out.
(4)Mark B.
The food here is so great! The Samosas are the best I have ever had and the yogurt sauce goes great on every thing. The flavors that come out in the chutneys are some of best flavors I have tasted. The Paneer is so great, wonderful texture and flavor. My favorite is to get half chicken and half paneer, but I also love the lamb! The freshness of the ingredients is also terrific! There is lots of variety on the menu and makes for a great flavorful meal! This is hands down the best place to get Indian food in America.
(5)Kay H.
I thought this was the same naanstop thats located in little five points. I guess if it is the same owners this is the fast food version. The tika masala was not sweet. The service and concept are good just a fan of more traditional indian food. The naan bread was also not fresh and soft. Good for diet bad for tastebuds. Ps the one in little five is amazing
(2)Caroline M.
Saw this on my Scoutmob app and I had to try it because I'm a huge fan of Indian food. My boyfriend and I went around lunch time and got the Naanwich (with garlic) and lamb. Love the topping options because they were simple! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was super noisy and I could barely hear the girl taking my order. ORDER MASALA FRIES TOO! They're unreal!
(4)Sandy A.
"an embarrassment to Indian food" We came in on a monday at 2pm, so after the typical lunch crowd, and there was one other couple there. Were brought in by the scoutmob and my girlfriends love of indian food. Menu is simple, but it really does take an extra second to process having to read it from right to left. I got the catfish wrap and Masala fries while she got the chicken masala rice bowl and a samosa. As soon as I ordered I got a little worried as I saw the fries and samosa sitting under a heat lamp and watched the food preparer hesitantly pull a naan out from under aluminium foil under a heat lamp. I liked that there were peppers, onions and spinach that could be added as desired to add a little color to the food. We received our food and looked for a seat but had difficulty finding a eating surface that didn't have sticky residue on it or leftover napkins ... surprising since again, there was only one other table occupied at the time. The first item we tried was the samosa which was pretty good and the sweet apple chutney complemented it well. It was a bit soft, having been sitting out, but it was also the highlight of the meal. The masala sauce at this place is bland, my girlfriend barely ate half of her meal and she was hungry and loves indian food. The previous comments on the naan being charred are definitely correct. I imagine the freshness of the naan can really make or break the meal, and mine i could tell had been sitting out as it was a little too chewy and charred (I like a little char, but this was heavier). The catfish was a pretty good consistency and the medium coconut mint sauce had a good bit of spice to it, but really wasn't savory as I had hoped. Again, had the naan been more recently prepared this would have been pretty good. The masala fries were another story, I like the type of fries they use, but they had clearly been sitting out a while. And like my girlfriend I was highly disappointed in the masala sauce! I was left craving ketchup with the fries. Overall we don't really plan on returning and while the concept is good and maybe when the turnover of the food is better, the food tastes better, I really think if you are going to serve Indian food you really need a flavorful masala sauce, and there is a better one down the street in a jar at Trader Joe's...
(2)Khrystina A.
I got the basic chicken tikka with rice and garlic naan....totally wish that I would have just stuck to Chipotle. The chicken was shredded mush and the naan was burnt to hell. Paid way to much for what reminded me of mild baby food.
(1)Reanna U.
The one star is for the nice guy who patiently walked me through the options; the rest of the experience was awful. I got the palak paneer on brown rice. The paneer (cheese cubes) tasted cheap, the spinach tasted sour, and the garlic naan was burned and dry. I was totally excited to have a "fast" Indian spot in Buckhead, but it was a total let-down. It was speedy, but I'd rather it have been slow if that resulted in edible food. I ate the naan (hey, bread is bread) and threw the rest out.
(1)Andrew T.
Great service and great food. Just tried this place for the first time and have been back twice in one week. Rice bowl with chicken and naan bread hit the spot.
(5)Michael B.
If like Indian food that is both high quality and fast? This is the place to be. The food is amazing and the service is super fast! You can choose from variety of traditional Indian dishes that are served quick why you are at lunch. Walking distance from so many offices. Enjoy
(5)Rob K.
If you find yourself in Buckhead, NaanStop should be in your regular lunch rotation. Their quick service setup means they can serve you as fast as a food court restaurant. Pricing is in that standard $10 food + drink business lunch range. Food seemed consistent with their downtown location. This is a reliable, consistent, affordable, quick outlet for Indian food. I went with the Paneer in a rice bowl with the "Indian Hot" chutney and a side of naan. The chutney is delicious, but not "Indian Hot" - I could eat the chutney by itself without crying or a gallon of water, which isn't Indian hot. This is a GREAT version of Indian fast food, like a premium Panda Express, but it certainly isn't destination dining. If you can walk here, do it. If you have to drive, pick something more interesting.
(3)Ronisha L.
Maurice gives pretty amazing service. He is welcoming and listens. I eat here a lot and he made my experience even better after the service.
(5)Seth H.
Dinner: Naanwich with Chicken Tikka Masala, Medium chutney (coconut & mint), and a side of Masala fries Food: 4/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Average: 4 The Naanwich was very tasty. The second time I went here I tried the spicy chutney and it was very spicy. I prefer the medium chutney. Having chutney and masala on regular french fries was interesting. The second time I went I had to get the chutney and masala on the side of the fries because they make the fries soggy. I will be back here when I want some good affordable food.
(4)Dee P.
The food here is delish! It's a little taste of India, fresh & fast, right in Buckhead. For both of my visits, I ordered a naan wrap. But, you have a choice of getting your ingredients on a rice bowl or salad too. They have a variety of choices for fillings, so there's something to please everyone, non-vegetarians & vegetarians alike. Being the latter, I've had the palak paneer, chole, and paneer masala. There are several choices of chutneys (sauces) to flavor it up, in addition to grilled onions & peppers and fresh baby spinach. The place looks kind of dinky from the outside, but it's done up nicely inside.
(5)Jori V.
I love the downtown NaanStop and now the Buckhead one is even better! They have made some design improvements to their menu, so it is even easier for me to pick and order exactly what I wanted! I always go with the naanwich, served on the fresh baked naan, then I load it up with either chicken tikka masala or chola and paneer, topped with the sweet and cool chutneys, it's always delicious and satisfying. If I want to enjoy some extra indulgence, the samosa is probably the best I've ever had, can't get enough of the sauce that accompanies it! All in all love this place and the friendly staff definitely check it out!
(5)Rita B.
I went there because of a scout mob deal and I'm glad I gave this place an opportunity. I ordered the brown rice with chicken tikka masala. My sauce of choice was the spicy Indian chutney; which was extremely spicy. I also ordered a samosa. The meal was very fulfilling and good. It's a nice, fast service, clean and modern Indian restaurant. I would definitely come again!
(5)Ann T.
Very very good food. Fast, clean and friendly. The owner said it is his mom's recipe! Yum
(5)Regina S.
Stopped in for a quick lunch and were greeted by an extremely nice young woman who took the time to walk us through the menu (pick a base, protein, chutney). She gave us a sample of the lamb (delicious) and we ended up selecting paneer tikka masala and chicken tikka masala on naan. Both were very tasty, as was the side samosa we purchased. The coconut water was fresh and cold and served out of a coconut. We will definitely be back!
(5)Shannon C.
Nothing to write home about. It's decent. I'd go again when I'm craving some quick Indian food. Everyone is right, it's like Chipolte, but you won't get full off what they give you. Which is good in my book, but I know how a lot of Americans love their big ass portions! So that might be a bad thing for many. I will say I felt healthy after eating it. I got the Tikka masala chicken with rice and spinach.
(3)Ayala B.
YUMM! I love Indian food and this place does a great job at maintaining some authenticity while making Indian fast food. This "chipotle style" restaurant is definitely worth a try.
(4)Scott F.
Really excellent and healthier choice. I was super pleased with the garlic naanwich made fresh to order. My meal was very good, and I look forward to my next visit!
(5)Ricky S.
Great food. You can't always find fast Indian food. I like the concept a lot. The lamb was so good and the staff were super nice too.
(5)David L.
If you are looking for Indian food don't bother eating here! This was the sorriest excuse for Indian food that I have ever encountered. There is absolutely no taste to anything that they prepare. When I went back to ask if they had forgotten some ingredient from my chicken tika masala they told me that they don't use any spices in their cooking because people in Atlanta don't like spicy food!?! What is Indian food without spice! They also use canned processed ingredients in their sauce/gravy, the Naan bread has good consistency but is dry and tasteless, the color of the masala sauce was a strange yellow color that made me think that it was cheese sauce at first, not the normal thick reddish sauce that one sees everywhere else. If you are going to go to the effort of bringing ethnic food to an area and try to make a new business successful why cheapen it and ruin it with processed ingredients, and not use traditional Indian spices (or any spice for that matter). Most people have an expectation when they choose to eat food from a country that is know for it's spicy food and NaanStop comes no where near to meeting that expectation. Run away.
(1)Lisa L.
I had the lamb with white rice and yogurt and cilantro sauce. I expected the lamb to be bland, but it was on the spicy side and was really flavorful! I really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be returning. The samosa was on the spicy side too, but a bit too greasy for my taste. Finally, I saw pretty mixed reviews on the garlic naan, but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit!
(4)Sarah W.
Great fast casual Indian lunch spot. I had the garlic Naan and Tika Masala chicken rice bowl, delicious! Best of all, the friendliest counter staff!
(5)Krishnachand V.
Had the chicken tikka rice bowl. The sauce is very tangy, full of tomatoes that is everything but Indian in taste. Going by restaurant's name is only a deception. And for the price, the quantity is meager that'll probably suffice kids. I would personally advise against visiting this place esp. when you're very hungry.
(1)Disa M.
Yes, it is like Chipolte with Indian Food-- but it is Delicious! Clean, fast, nice staff- with lots of healthy options. We loved it and will come back soon.
(5)Mark H.
This is one of the best new alternatives for lunch (and take away dinner.). A quick selection of Indian dishes on salad, rice bowl, or naan bread. I had the lamb on naan with the spicy chutney. Fantastic! Expect to pay $10 or a little more for lunch, and worth it!
(5)Michael R.
I was in Buckhead for my job and my coworkers and I saw this place when we went to Lovies that's in the same building. I thought it was funny to have an Indian restaurant next to a bbq spot since the food is so different but we decided to give it a try and so glad we did. We went for lunch and the line quickly went out the door. You order like you do at Chipotle. I order the grilled chicken rice bowl with a med hot coconut milk sauce and it was so good. I was very impressed with the food and they have a mango drink I highly suggest you get as well. The Naan was tasty as well. I thought it was funny when I saw someone wearing a Lovies shirt sitting in NaanStop having lunch.
(4)Christine W.
Love this place! As others have said, basically the Chipotle of Indian food. The rice bowl with lamb and masala sauce is my favorite. Order with a side of garlic naan & guava juice and I'm in heaven! Seriously, I eat here way too much now. Their naanwich is good too.
(5)Greena K.
Food was decent. It's like indian Chipotle. However customer service was terrible. It was my first time at the restaurant but they weren't helpful. I also ordered to-go but they forgot a part of my order (should've checked before I left) They also didn't take my scoutmob claiming that it was only valid at the downtown location when it clearly stated buckhead. Unless you're literally dying for indian food and naanstop is the only option within a 100mi radius, I wouldn't eat here.
(1)Akhil C.
I will give them an A for effort and concept but food is very subpar. Take it from an Indian guy, there are plenty of hole in the wall Indian places like Heart of India that blow this place out of the water. Sorry guys but you need to update your recipes and I will come back
(2)Shayla T.
This place was just ok for me. It wasn't bad or anything but I have no wish to make a return visit. The food lacked flavor and I love Indian cuisine but this place just missed the mark for me. It is setup like Chipotle but my add ons were cold while my tikka masala was hot. So I did not enjoy my meal as I could have. I had high hopes for this spot, especially for the price.
(2)Kirsten G.
Holy Samosa! Best thing you will ever eat. Friendly servers, great location, and personable owner. Mom's recipes- as authentic as you will find anywhere! Make sure to try the chai or mango lassi to go along with your naanwich!
(5)Benjamin C.
Best Indian food in Atlanta! It's like Chipotle but better. Good portion size too. The fries are interesting.
(5)Julie J.
We went over the weekend. The food was AMAZING! We got a paneer tikka masala naanwich- it was totally different, creative and delicious! We also tried the samosa and the masala fries. Everything was fresh and fast. Dontrel is who helped us- we had never been before and he was patient and explained everything on the menu and gave us his suggestions (which were spot on!) we will definitely come here again!
(5)Tod D.
Unique and tasty. I will drive out of the way to come back. Home made Naan and great toppings/fillings.
(4)Patricia M.
For what it is -- a small Chipotle-sized place where you can get good, authentic Indian food made fast -- this place is awesome. My husband and I ate there last night for the first time. I ordered a rice bowl that was half Chicken Tikka and half Chola (both ladled with tikka sauce though), along with Garlic Naan, and my husband ordered the Kabob with a rice bowl. It was all very flavorful. The raita (yogurt and cilantro) chutney and the cilantro chili chutney were spot on for adding just the right amount of cool and hot to the meal. The service was friendly, fast, correct, and accommodating. The only thing I'd change would be to add more Authentic India to the decor -- some hand-crafted items, perhaps? -- to brighten it up, give it warmth, and make it look a little less like a chain restaurant decorated by dudes. ;-)
(5)Anabel S.
I got the brown rice bowl and chola (chickpea), naan and mango lassi. The food was the blandest thing i have ever tasted. no seasonings, it didn't taste anything like indian food. And towards the end of my meal i bit down on a rock-like object, looked like a piece from a cast iron skillet possibly.. that really sealed the deal of me never going back here. Here in Atlanta we are lucky enough to have AMAZING indian food, i don't know why anyone would settle for this mcdonalds category indian. If you want a fast and easy indian, i would recommend chai pain in decatur, they are great. The naan and mango lassi here WERE good, however, as well as the service being fast and friendly. so, 2 stars.

It felt like a waste of money. Food had no flavor or spice to it. This shouldn't be categorized as indian fare. I had the garlic naan which had no garlic flavor, filled with chicken tikka masala which again; no spice or seasoning, just some vague yogurt/tomato sauce on it. I even had them add the spicy chutney...

Stopped at Naanstop to grab lunch this afternoon. We ordered the chole naanwich, paneer tikka naanwich, masala fries, and mango lassi. All of them tasted good, no complaints there. Only that, apart from the lassi, all of them were soggy and messy. The chole and paneer tikka have gravy, and add to that a couple of cutneys, we were left with a messy naanwich which could not be eaten like a sandwich. We ended up asking for a bowl and ate the filling with a fork! The masala fries were basically simple french fries with a masala gravy garnishing that made them soggy too. The mango lassi was good. Next time we will probably get a rice bowl and order a side of naan.

So..... The reviews on here so far got me to drive to the buckhead location from midtown on a Saturday night. The menu was a little confusing. I'm sitting here in the restaurant writing this review as I watch others with puzzled looks on their face trying to figure out how to put their dinner order together. The meal was okay, but there are many other better indian places in Atlanta. The staff was a bit rude when I was trying to get more information about the menu. All the tables were dirty and the lady behind the counter watched me clean my entire table before we sat down. It's crazy that she turned the register around to get a tip when she did nothing really other than punch my meal into a register. They played Michael Jackson songs the whole time we were there. The first one was cool. Then we realized that Michael Jackson would be our only choice.

I had heard positive things about this establishment. When I first arrived I thought "Indian Chipotle" . You get to choose a rice bowl or wrap/burrito as your base and then proceed to add a protein, toppings and sauce. They had chicken tikka masala, chickpeas, saag, and lamb as some of their options. I chose the chicken in a rice bowl with naan on the side. The chicken tikka masala was underwhelming. It was lacking in the hearty robust flavor I've come to expect in a chicken tikka masala. It was lukewarm too. The naan was sadly tough and not buttery and fluffy as it should be. I chose the yogurt sauce with the green spicy sauce. The green sauce was too spicy. Personally I did not care for it. Overall i was disappointed. At about $7-8 for a meal you might as well fork out an extra few dollars and head to an Indian lunch buffet for more variety and better quality. Also, what am i missing with the "rice bowl" concept? It's not novel. Rice and curry is a staple dish in South Asia. Naanstop lacked innovation. Unlike fusion cuisine, like takorea for example, this is just poor Indian (or is it pakistani? Who cares?) miserably failing at emulating the Chipotle/Mexican model. I suppose if you are not picky about South Asian food and are in a rush this might meet your needs. I, for one, will avoid coming back. I'd rather fly to NYC to eat at Kati Roll.

Had lunch here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the chicken tikka masala naanwich with yogurt and cucumber chutney. Generous quantity of chicken pieces in a delicate, flavorful sauce. Perfect for lunch, not too heavy. Also, had a samosa that was a good size and delicious. Will definitely go back.

Samosas are on point. Besides that, this is some seriously vanilla Indian. I got a naan wrap, and it was weird to eat because it was just naan and the sauce. Not really that flavorful and hard to eat because everything was spilling out of the bread. It would make so much more sense to have a piece of naan the size of a burrito tortilla so you could actually contain everything. Also maybe put some rice in there. This place is a good idea, but the execution just isn't cutting it.

I am a huge fan of Naanstop and I was looking forward to having it closer to home in Buckhead. The second location is even better than the first! I stuck to my favorites which are the turkey kabob naanwich and the samosa. Both were fresh and excellent. In addition to the great food, I like the feel of the second location even better. With lots of natural light and high ceilings, the dining experience was great. So glad I have somewhere to stop and eat before heading off to the mall!

I usually order the chicken and I am always so satisfied. We probably come here twice a week as it is affordable, healthy and delicious. My husband loves to order the sausage in a rice bowl with two scoops of the dark green sauce. We love it!

Really great service, the server with the musical note tattoo was great and super nice! The food was very good, I really liked the spicy Chutney and the paneer!

Finally, a great fast casual Indian Food option! The home made naan and samosa's are wonderful.

The more I use yelp the less creditable it becomes. This place undercooked the rice, chicken does not taste like it was cooked in a tandoor, and the tiki Marsala doesn't taste like tika masala ( tastes like soy sauce). For people on here to compare this to chipotle is completely B.S. The only thing close to chipotle is the way in which you order. This is a poor attempt at Indian food.

Happy to have a quick and relatively affordable place for a quick bite in Buckhead! Naan Stop is super satisfying! A Naanwich wrap with Chicken Tikka Masala and "Cool" Chutney with peppers, onions and spinach makes for a great meal. Only 50% of the time I resist the temptation to get a Samosa on top of my order, but when I do, they are also very yummy (though could be a bit warmer?). The Masala Fries are only ok in my opinion. Even so! Happy to have Naan Stop join the Buckhead neighborhood!

Yuck. Go down the street to bohjanic. This was almost inedible. I had the paneer tika masala. I honestly couldn't tell if the paneer was chicken or cheese. The tamarind sauce for he samosas tasted like cheap chine sauce used for general tsi's chicken. Such a disappointment. Do not waste your money:

Ate here with my boyfriend for the very first time today. He found a hair in his food. They refunded our money, after we had a to wait like 20 minutes, but needless to say we won't eat here EVER AGAIN. Gross!

I used to wonder why there weren't fast food Indian joints. Now I know why. Not sure if it's because we went at an off hour (2:00 pm), but the food was all dried out. The paneer was chewy and gross. The naan holding the naanwich together was brittle and broke when they folded it, causing the filling to fall out when I tried to take a bite. The staff was unfriendly, so there was nothing to redeem this trip. Sorry Naan Stop, I really wanted to like you but I just can't.

Very excited about this place opening as it is hard to get Indian food without going OTP. Perfect for the quick office lunch. As soon as you walk in you are promptly and warmly greeted. The menu set up is very similar is to the Tex-Mex place next door and you go down the assembly line of food. I chose the naan, chicken Tikka Masala, yogurt chutney and a somosa. Came to right under $10 with no drink but it lasted me for the rest of the day hands down. Everything is fresh and you can see the authentic, ingredients stacking on the shelves, being rolled fresh and cooked in front of your eyes. They will explain all the food items to you but since my mom is Indian I knew exactly what everything was and had high expectations. The food was still warm when I got back to the office, tasted fresh and yummy. Now this isn't the same quality and taste of a sit down Indian restaurant but you have to remember that this is more a lunch stop and caters to a milder tongue eating it. Overall it's perfect for what it is and will definately be added to the places on the lunch rotation. Very happy. Thank you!
