Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Wasn't too impressed, I had "The Homewrecker" burrito. The steak was bland, not desirable. Their queso was good, chips were crunchy. I guess being spoiled by california mexican restaurants, has me holding this place up to a higher standard. Although I will go back and try something different. I did like the options for salsa.

As far as food goes in the Phipps area ( I now work at the Phipps Tower), this is one of the best values in the area. They don't jack up the prices here, like they do at the Subway next door. So, for the price of Subway (bleh), you get a delicious burrito and some chips. Fast service, with plenty of seating around in the mall.

I know that a business cannot totally control the environment that they are located in--but this place is terrible due to the kiddie's crying and carrying on next door at the new Leggo shop. Not much seating and the service was pretty slow, too. I wouldn't recommend it, if you can go to Johnnie Rocket's next door--or even better, get out ot the mall altogether and get some real Mexican food.

I love coming to Moe's, especially on Moe Mondays when they have their $5 special any Moe's burritos. It's a fantastic deal. Plus, unlike Chipotle, you get free chips and salsa. If you stay, you can get unlimited chips and there's a self serve salsa bar. And if you're taking it to go, you can ask for more chips and pack your own salsa. I love getting the homewrecker. The portion is enough for 2 people to share. So for a $5 burrito split between 2 people, it's hard to beat that deal. The staff is also very friendly. Whenever I go, there's a guy that always remembers me and we usually have a laugh or two. I highly recommend checking it out. And hey, you can do some shopping while you're at it, or check out the new LegoLand. I haven't gone yet, but am hoping to check it out soon. Maybe next time I dine at Moe's.

WELCOME TO MOE'S!!! I am a big fan of Moe's. I love mexican food a lot but especially burritos! I prefer Willy's over Moe's but when im at work in Phipps Plaza, I only have one choice. I love that this location offers $5 Burritos on Mondays which is AWESOME! A homewrecker is usually $6.99 and when i can get it for $5 and some change count me in....yes, im in college people I penny pinch. Anyway the staff is really nice and compared to other restaurants in this low-budget food court this place gets 5 stars.

I'll be honest and admit, I'll take Willys over any Moes, but somedays Moes is the closest and you need a taco. At ths location, I under the impression the only thing they do right is the tacos, so I get upset with myself when I steer of track. Today...I steered off track....and as I heard myself tell the guy....Buffalo Chicken Nachos...I thought...uh oh. So...I tell him pinto beans, and he hauls off and throws about a pound of bean onto about 15 nacho chips. He then scoops up the 1/2 scooper of chicken, which I know to be the regualar Moes chichken....I ask...what makes it buffalo? He says in a barley understandable English....its the sauce...and points towards a squeeze bottle! This Moes use to have several English speaking employees, but I havent encounterd one in months... (Now dont yall hit my inbox up and report me for being racist....all i;m askin...is that if you work in AMERICA....and serve the AMERICAN public....will u please, please, please, learn common everyday English...and if you are the hiring managers....please....HIRE PEOPLE THAT SPEAK EVERYDAY AMERICAN!!!!!) ....i digress....Yelpers....u may not know this, but I can be really anal about food presentation....it matters.....so....u can see theres a problem. As he proceeds down the assembly line of condiments, i will prolcaim right here and now, that he gave me 1/4 lb lettuce, 2 cups of cheese, 1 cup of jalepanos, 2 cups of olives, and a HUGE dallop of pico....AND a drizzle of guac and sourcream,.which cost me 79 cents and 99 cents more respectivlly....ALL haulded slapped and piled on with no sense of presentation.......UUUGGGHHHH......so I exlpain...best as I could...that I cant eat that like that....u have to take some of that stuff off.....or BETTER YET.....start over....He stands there like I'm speaking Portuguese or something....and calls someone from the back...and all she kept sayin was.....U no want...U no want....WTF!!!!!!! aS i stand there...he starts squirting the buffalo sauce alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll over everything....I swear...if I ever go back here again....taco desire or no...I am kickin my own behind. Today was indeed the final straw of my not being able to order anything but a Taco from a "mexican resturant" Spent $10 on a meal...drove all the way home, to throw it in the Hurby Curby....ate maybe 5 bites....couldnt find the chicken...guess it got smothered to death.

Normally I'm a fan of Moe's. Sure, it's no Willy's, but it'll do in a pinch. My brother and I were meeting my mom and sister at Phipps and he wanted a burrito. The line at Chik-fil-A was ridiculous, so I decided to settled for a quesadilla. After the burrito and quesadilla rang up to $17 (eek!) I was already a little perturbed. Then I tasted the quesadilla. Ugh. First they completely shortchanged me on chicken, which is really annoying since I didn't get any beans. And it just tasted gross. The tortilla was old and hard and I couldn't finish even half of it. On top of that, the chips were extra cardboardy and the salsa left a whole lot to be desired. Next time I'll wait it out at Chik-fil-A.
