Love Mellow Mushroom. This location is a little more casual (and older, worn) than other locations and maybe service was a little more off also. But the food was as good as I expected. Parking lot is tight and crowded. As someone else mentioned, you should park next door at Whole Foods.

Great pizza! Had the "supreme" style with the wheat crust. I ate every bite that I had, INCLUDING the crust! I'm usually a topping eater only- much to the chagrin of the people sharing pizza with me. I must repeat- I even ate the CRUST! I had take out, so I can't speak to the atmosphere, but oh my gosh- what delicious pizza!

A pretty good pizza place, with really great peeps. We ordered MM takeout, and when we got there, we were told that they'd missed one of our wing orders. They apologized and offered to give us a free beer while we waited. There were regulars chatting with the bartender, people enjoying their post-Christmas pies, and really good moods everywhere. Though MM is a chain, the early locations (and I think this is one) have their own atmosphere, and they use local ingredients and find local beers whenever possible, which gives it a much more "local pizza joint" flair. If I lived nearby, I certainly would come back to this location.

I ordered 2 medium pizzas; 1 kosmic karma, 1 build your own veggie. Both vegan (dairy free) (they offer Daiya, but we are not fans, and prefer the pizza sans cheese). I gotta say, both were OUTSTANDING. Huge hit with the family. Perfectly blended flavors of red and pesto sauce and the sundried tomatoes. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My only complaint is that I ordered 2 medium pizzas and my total was over $40.

My coworker introduced me to this place. Pizza is so good and ingredients taste so fresh. I've been to this location a couple of times (possibly addicted ) and service has always been very fast and staff is very friendly. I took off a star because tables weren't always wiped down sufficiently - I figured because they are getting people in and out so fast.

LOVE this mellow mushroom, for its lunch specials and the ease to get you in and out the door quickly. I always get the greek salad (sub spinach for the lettuce) and extra onion/mushroom/sausage pizza. Its my fave go to and it never disappoints. The crust at this location is perfection and everything that an MM should be. Great service too!

Ordered the Philosopher's Pie and Maui Wowie. Both were mouth-watering delicious, especially the Philosopher's Pie. Perfect amount of cheese, meat, vegetables, and delicate bread. I'm a pizza-lover but haven't found anywhere remotely as good in Atlanta, except maybe Fellini's. I'm definitely going back to the Mellow Mushroom, although I would say it is a little big overpriced. It has a chill atmosphere, funky place, prompt/nice workers.

While in the Atlanta area my boyfriend and I were craving some pizza (it's one of our staple foods). So our friend took us to the local Mellow Mushroom. The restaurant was so unique and nothing like I've seen before. The place is so original, I couldn't believe it was a chain. Everything is bright and has a super hippie, psychedelic feel to it. The menu was huge, and we sat right next to the open kitchen so we had a preview of every awesome item that came out. EVERYTHING looked delicious. But we came the the Mellow Mushroom for pizza- so we ignored the rest of the menu. The pizza selection is huge, at least 15 different options. So many options that we couldn't decide on just one. Luckily you can order half pies here, so we went with the Gourmet White (olive oil/garlic base topped with sun-dried tomatoes, provolone, feta, onions, and mozzarella) and the Buffalo Chicken. Both were super delicious. The pizza dough is apparently made with the famous Georgia "Sweet Water," it was the best dough I've ever had. I could have eaten just the crust. It was the perfect mix of fluffy and crusty topped with some amazing seasonings. The medium pie was more than enough for two of us, we ended up with two slices left over- which we took home and ate later. The medium pie was about $20. I hope this chain expands and comes up north!

This is a can't miss place. Pizza is awesome, but I always go back for the Tofu Hoagie! You've got to check it out!

Thursday nights here are not to be missed. $8 pitchers of Sweetwater beer? Yes please. On top of other beer specials that were dirt cheap. Service was good. You can't go wrong with their pizzas. A small pizza is 4 slices - so dinner and leftovers for lunch the next day. So the parking sucks but just park at whole foods and walk the 10 feet. Again, $8 pitchers of beer are a deal (I think they gave us a choice of 3 kinds) that can't be beat. They have several TVs and a patio. Little side note - the bathrooms are a tight squeeze so small bladders be advised. Staff was all friendly. Service was fast. I'll go back any Thursday just for the beer specials.

We stopped in to eat. They didn't want us here because my truck took too many spaces. So I'm off to find somewhere I'm welcome at.

Food here is great, but the service is either really good or sub-par. I've been there when it took a reasonable time to get our food and I've been there when it took an hour - you never know what you're going to get. My favorites are the Holy Shitakke Pizza and the make-it-yourself calzones. I do wish they had a liquor license though.

I wouldn't eat here. Sat at the bar next to the kitchen and watched the guy (with a red cap backwards on his head) who makes the pizza dance around and lean on the pizza board tucked under his arm pits. Also while he was spreading out pizza dough he would continuously stop and check his phone and then go back and finish with the dough for someone's pizza. Never changing his gloves. I wonder if he looks at his phone when he is sitting on the toilet. (Most people do) Then he snuck into the corner to eat some food by hand and then went on to prepare the next order ... again didn't change his gloves. Another guy was talking about how drunk he is. Can't believe this place passes the health code.

Haven't eaten here in 20 years and still the best pizza anywhere. Crust is unbelievable and the pretzels are phenomenal. Ambiance is authentic and untouched in a positive way.

I had lunch there today. The Jerk Chicken hoagie (on a pita) is especially good. Just ask for extra feta and check the cutlery. I had to send mine back. Overall it was pretty good. Great lunch.

What happened? My family has been a Mellow Mushroom family since the 70's. I've never had a bad experience in any location...ever. After work, we decided a Mighty Meaty and a Kosmic Karma would be the perfect way to end the day. We called ahead and ordered for pick-up at the Tucker location. We were told 35 min. and we arrived 33 min later. Our pizzas were already boxed and sitting on the bar when we arrived. Less than 10 minutes later on our dining room table we opened the boxes to find pizzas with a crust so thin that it had holes in the bottom and the toppings looked like they had been picked out of the garbage. New cook? Bad night? Crazy kitchen? No idea but MM is off our list.

This place is a good chain restaurant for lunch! I've had the Chicken Parmesan hoagie (which is no longer on the menu but they are still willing to make it just for you!). I've also had the Chicken Philly which I really enjoyed! They have certain lunch specials during the week, for example, the $5 slice and small salad. I definitely recommend the Pretzel bites as an appetizer! There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The service is not very fast so definitely make sure you have some time to kill! Overall, this place is pretty good, but not the best restaurant, with many different sandwich and pizza options.

Lovely atmosphere and vibe. Easy-going and comfortable staff, but they're efficient at their job! Finally, a break from the hubbub of most Altanta establishments. My dad and I were really happy with our pizza, and I ordered a side Greek salad. Go for the art, the people and the flair. This'll be my staple in the neighborhood.

The food was the only thing to redeem this visit. We waited 10 minutes to be greeted while servers walked by. It wasn't very busy. Finally a girl who was training asked if we were taken care of. We told her we were waiting. Finally, we were sort of greeted by Gio who didn't introduce himself but asked, what do you want to drink. We ordered a meatball pizza and continued to wait 15-20 minutes as new customers got their food. The trainer came over again and asked if we were ok and we said we were just waiting. A few minutes later our server came over and told us it would be a few more minutes. We believed that he forgot to put the order in. Pizza was great. He came back and said, I guess it was good. He gave us our bill and then came back and said it was the wrong bill.

I love mellow mushroom anytime. I have had a couple of bad experiences elsewhere, but this location struck me as one of the better ones. The service was friendly and their draft selection was delightful. My boyfriend fell in love with the Scotch Ale. The food was tasty and vegan friendly.

Yumbo. This return visit, I had the sausage hoagie on rye, narrowly winning over the House Calzone, which I love. More, I love the beer selections here. Over the door, on the wall - as I seem to remember, driving past on LaVista for decades, visiting since moving back - a sign honors this hole-in-the-wall location as the oldest continuously operating Mellow Mushroom venue, since 1974. Go, you all!

So tasty! I'm already a fan of Mellow Mushroom but today was our first trip to this location. The staff was friendly and helpful, got our drinks on the table and order taken right away. The wait time was a bit long but we were there for the church rush. We got the garlic parmesan pretzels with beer cheese-DELICIOUS. I got a small bbq chicken pizza (can't remember their fun name for it) and my husband got the meat lovers. Both were delicious and of course we had to get to-go boxes. We were drinking water so including the tip we paid $40 which was not bad for the quality of food and service we got. Next time we're in Atlanta we will be going back.

The hail caesar pizza warrants a five star rating alone. I normally try new things everytime I go to a restaurant again, but for some reason, I have never gotten anything besides this pizza at MM because it is that frickin good. It's a chicken pesto and garlic pizza with caesar salad on top. I normally sub sundried tomatoes on the pizza instead of roma tomatoes in the salad. The cold salad goes perfectly with the hot pizza and its just so garlicky and rich and wonderful. Not to mention the crust is the right amount of chewy and soft and sweet. If J Caesar were alive, I bet he'd eat this everyday.

We eat lunch hear several times a week. They got good pizza. I don't know if it meets the standards of all the gourmet, pizza joints in town, but it ranks as some of my favorite pizza. Very casual in atmosphere, unless theres some game on, and then it can be loud. Last time I went and my debit card kept getting declined and I needed to get cash from another source, so I asked the cashier, if I could run and get some cash because there was no reason for the card to decline, but there's a bank up the street and I would just go pull out the cash. I was kinda shocked she didn't give me that yeah, right lady look, but she offered to pack up the leftovers while I was gone. I got cash came back and it was as if she never doubted I'd return. Maybe it happens more often than I think, but I was glad she didn't treat me like I was a diner and dip.

I had to stop in Atlanta when we all got sick while road tripping a week ago. We looked at several pizza places and decided to try this one. I'm giving it a 5, so clearly I was impressed. The pizza is pretty thick, the dough tastes fresh. We ordered a cheese pizza with tomato and fresh garlic. It also had something that looked like corn meal spread on the top. Can't wait to find a mellow mushroom closer to me.

So, yeah, y'all know I love me some Mellow Mushroom. But I can't tell you the last time I'd ventured to the Emory location - years, I think! This spot is a little more casual than some of the others - maybe an odd observation, but by that I mean you pay at the register when you're done eating and it's a little smaller than the Brookhaven or Midtown stores. They also only have beer and wine. Service is chill and friendly as you'd expect at any MM. I ventured into new territory today - hey, first day of Spring and all, why not?! - and tried their AWESOME white pizza. Sooo good. I actually got half without the onions, tomatoes and sundrieds, and enjoyed both "versions." This is definitely going on the CN-Mellow-pizza-rotation. *Happy Saturday*

Gave 2 stars because our waiter was very nice...service was kinda slow, and restaurant was not overly crowded, but they may have been short-staffed. HOWEVER - for a company that is marketing their gluten-free choices with the slogan, stating you are no longer a 2nd class citizen...well, what class do you put me in? That was the most outrageously overpriced piece of crap pizza. Their menu states GF options only come in 12" sizes but doesn't list prices for those GF options...instead you get charged for a 14" medium sized pizza. So, I paid $18 for a 12" very thin pizza...what a rip-off. When I made the comment to the staff that they need to make a point of clearing up the pricing, received the canned response "oh, I'll let corporate know". Bad Karma for you guys...used to love the mushroom.

The pizza here is good but be forewarned - this is not New York style pizza. I think the pizza here falls into in a very unique and decidely non-tradtional niche I like to call Atlanta Pizza. Like Greek Pizza or California Pizza, Atlanta Pizza is a unique and different variety of pizza - perhaps a type that is too difficult to easily categorize or generalize. Maybe the other Robert M. (The pizza expert) will engage me in a debate or heated discussion on this subject. Perhaps Jaggers Pizza and Everybody's Pizza also fall into the "Atlanta Pizza" category. In Mellow Mushrooms's case the crust is somewhat thicker than normal and sorta sweet tasting - as if someone has added cake batter to the dough mixture. The crust will be delightfully fluffy, dusted with parmesan cheese and garlic butter. Not traditional pizza but very tasty. This location is perhaps my favorite for a bunch of reasons. Many years ago this location was once a pizza business under a different name - Geno's Pizza. It was a neighborhood hangout when I was a kid and older / tougher kids used to play basketball in the small blacktop lot behind the restaurant where there was a basketball goal on a utility company pole. Where the relatively new and upscale Post Apartment complex now sits (behind Mellow Mushroom) there used to be a cheap / low rent apartment complex where many / most of the aformetmentioned older kids who shot hoops likely came from. They were often a wild and unsavory bunch who hung out at the restaurant or worked there (or both). Rumor had it that weed could be bought from them inside or out back. I got shitfaced drunk here for the first time in my life (when it was Genos Pizza) as a fifteen year old playing quarters with my friends; we were consuming cheap pitchers of beer during a private party some seniors from my high school threw on a Friday or Saturday night. Years later and after several different ownership / name changes the place still serves up pretty decent pizza and beer; however, at one point it was "Pizza and No Beer" (as advertised on the bright neon sign next to the business name outside) during one brief ownership / management stint in the 80s. I don't think that policy lasted long due to the thirst for booze among the multitude of neighborhood college kids. Not much has changed with respect to the interior layout / decor. I think this location was one of a the few original Mellow Mushroom locations before the chain went corporate and started spreading like kudzu throught the city, state and region. I often enjoy getting pizza to go, waiting for it at the tiny bar next to the register, and sipping a pint while watching sports on TV while they bake my pie (which I know will be fresh and hot when I get it home). The guy working the front register will almost always open the box and show you your freshly baked pizza, before letting you leave with it, to verify that it has been made to your liking / satisfaction. Salads and calzones are pretty good bets here as too.

Yummyyyyy! I took off one star for the awfully awkward parking lot. On a busy day it can be a disaster finding parking, and very tight to turn around. Apart from that, the food was amazing! Pretzels were delicious and doughy, with a soft chewy inside- not like the fluffy ones you get at the mall. We just got a cheese pizza, and it was delicious! The flavors were subtle with a slightly sweet tomato sauce, with a good serving of cheese on top and soft tasty dough. They do sell individual slices according to the menu, which I was happy to hear. A medium pizza could probably feed a family of three (we were two), and my leftovers have covered two meals so far. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, perfect for a casual evening or lunch with friends or family. Go!

Mellow Mushrooms has the market cornered for people who want to eat pizzas at a chain sports grill environment. I think their pizzas are greasy and the dough isn't on the same level as the great pizza establishments in town, but as soon as you apply the filter of "chain sports grill environment", most of those better-pizza places are eliminated. Customers are typically collegiate looking, maybe wearing sports jerseys, often drinking beer. Trivia nights are wildly popular. This would be the place to be in a small college town. But I find few occasions that take me here.

There doesn't seem to be a recent review for this place. I don't know whats happened here; I'm incredibly disappointed in this location. I come here fairly frequently and I used to rave about this place, the pizza, the beer, the wings-it was all well done. I just had dinner there with my family and it was horrible. The pizza was all...cheap. As in slimy cheese and little sauce. And the wings looked awesome and crispy but tasted bland and were all rubbery. The only good thing was the beer-which came in a can. Won't be coming back here for awhile... Note that I gave them 2-stars because this was a one-time experience, and as I said, I normally loved this place. But I am pretty disgusted overall and not sure when I can stomach trying it again.

I went last night and really enjoyed it. Casual, and good as always. Mellow Mushroom is a great company, especially considering how much they have expanded in the past 10+ years. That says a whole lot! Quality has not gone downhill like most companies do when they branch out. I have been to many in at least 4 states and they still consistently offer a great product. Its a good, unique pie. Not the place that I order from every time, but I am always glad when I have MM.

I've always loved their pizzas for this kind of pizza. For pizzas, nothing can beat Antico. But for an unhealthy pizza, I'd give this place a 4. It blows all the other chains out of the water. It's fresh and super tasty. They also have a lot of other options if you don't want to eat pizza. They have tons of sandwiches, salads, etc. My favorite salad that I've had their so far is their Tempeh salad. I didn't know what Tempeh was before, but this is one tasty salad!!! I now have another option if I want to eat a little healthier. The best thing about this place is that they have so many of them now! They're popping up everywhere. :)

Thank you for restoring a little of my faith! As I mentioned before, I'm a fan of the food. But our last experience left a great deal to be desired from a service perspective, and this time our server really treated us well. She even knew how to "cater" a slice of pizza for a 4 y/o cheese pizza connoisseur. Well done, MM!

This is a great place! Tucked against the side of a small hill, almost in a world by itself in the middle of a busy multi-zoned area. Relaxed vibe with always friendly service. Not enough beers on tap and the bar only has six seats or so---but if you are sitting at one---you are enjoying a mid to late 70s time machine and loving it. Recommend.

Love, Love, Loveeee this place! They have awesome, cheesy-garlic pizza, and great cheesy bread (see a pattern?)!! They have fast service and good prices. Definitely try this place out!

TAKEOUT ONLY - Not good: No delivery (as opposed to what it says above) Pizza was not hot (just lukewarm - though I picked it up 20 minutes after it was ready, I expect it to be kept in those Domino's style heat holders) EXPENSIVE - My medium pizza was $18.03!!! Good: The taste is delicious - crust is the right blend between thick and thin (you only have one choice anyway) The toppings I got were delicious - sauce: red and olive oil/garlic cheese: Vegan Daiya (call ahead to make sure they have it) toppings: banana peppers, tofu, and olives All in all, a good first experience with Mellow Mushroom. Friendly and patient customer service over the phone and a good pizza. A bite out of the wallet though :-/ Will probably add this to my Papa John's pizza rotation once in a while when I feel like splurging.

Delicious. I've had the gourmet white pizza and a regular cheese with sundried tomatoes, and I'd recommend both. The crust is medium, chewy, and whole wheat - really good. Only four stars because the tomatoes on top of the gourmet white weren't great, but that's mostly my fault for ordering anything with fresh tomatoes in January. Great beer, too!

Mellow Mushroom is amazing. I've dinned in quite a few times, and gotten pick-up more times than I can count. Something about the way they make the dough really makes their pizza stand out. The dough isn't as flimsy as some of the other, more typical, pizza places. But, it's also not so thick that you'll struggle to eat it. Having been to Mellow Mushroom several times, I've developed a list of favorites. Here they are: Caesar Pizza - Delicious chicken and pesto pizza that comes with a salad for you to dress the pizza up with! Philosopher's Pie - Steak, mushrooms, olives, artichoke, and other goodies. No tomato sauce. A tad on the salty side. But still a must-try! Red Skin Potato Pie - Really unique. It's like a baked potato, but on a pizza. Think about that for a minute. Then order it. Funky Q Chicken - Chicken, bacon, cheddar, caramelized onions, and BBQ sauce. Not quite as unique as the others, but every bit as delicious. Steak and Cheese Hoagie - One of the best steak and cheese hoagies in this area of Atlanta. They recommend you try it with bacon. That means you should. Meatball Hoagie - Doesn't need much explaining. Totally hits the spot. Service is always great regardless of whether you're dining in or taking out. Parking will be limited on busy nights. But, there are two parking spots reserved for people who are just picking up. If all else fails though, there is the Whole Foods parking lot right next door. But, that's for Whole Foods customers only. I know I would never park there when I'm actually going to Mellow Mushroom. Like, ever.

Wow! What a great experience we had. We came in on Saturday late afternoon and the place was surprisingly busy for that time of day. Our server was awesome and guided us to order the beer cheese appetizer which was fantastic. It came with 3 hot doughy hand made pretzels to dip with. We also ordered a large shitake mushroom pizza that was probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. (and I have had a LOT of pizza) it had a little bit of truffle cream that was drizzled on top and some scallions for a little crunch. The beer was ice cold too. Loved it!

Went to Mellow after a long hiatus. Previous experiences were with loopy unreliable servers and incredibly long waits for food. We did go on a weeknight and the place was pretty empty, but the server was fine and entertaining. Pizza was very good. Our vegan friend had the imitation cheese and she really enjoyed it on her pizza.

This place seriously needs to start delivering... Amazing as usual. I've been here 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Definitely great. Sometimes this place is stupid busy on the weekdays for lunch. I always call ahead and pick up, so it is really quick, but if you come here when its really busy, sometimes it takes a while to get food.

First time coming to this location and my table won the $50 by winning trivia! YES! I got the last question right that put us in the top spot by like 2 points! I was really proud of myself that I could place Barcelona, Havana, Baghdad, and Bangkok in order from furthest north to south. I knew I went to college for something. I don't like how crowded it gets and everyone seems very close together. Our table of 8 was very uncomfortable....the size of the venue for its popularity is a major issue. I think they should consider a relocate or finding a way to make it more spacious....they do have options I peeped around... The service wasn't grade A but it also wasn't below average. The server was polite and timely. kept our cups full and what not. The prices are reasonable. 2 slices of pizza for under 5 bucks! im in...

AR C.
The pizza is good and the service fast and friendly. However, they are stingy with their toppings. For a mushroom onion and green pepper pizza, there were six slices of mushrooms and about the same number for the other toppings. This for a medium pizza. You could almost not taste the toppings. I find this to be the case for many Mellow Mushrooms.

What a slice! I came here to catch the Michigan/Notre Dame game and meet up with some friends. I ordered the Philosopher's Pie, and I was IMPRESSED to say the very least. This pizza -- artichokes, steak, goat cheese, olives -- is so amazing! I'm normally a mushroom/pepperoni kind of girl, but this gourmet approach was a welcomed change from my usual order. The crust is nice and chewy without being tough, the sauce is just right, and overall, I couldn't have made a better selection. Excited to try another creation the next time I return.
(5)
charles m.
when i spend 20 bucks on a medium pizza with 3 toppings i sorta expect it to be good. crust was decent but super-stingy on the cheese and everything else. about an ounce of sausage on the whole pie... c'mon ATL, you deserve better than this!

This place just screams local pizza joint establishment. It's not the cookie cutter Pizza Hut or more uppity Italian establishments. Mellow Mushroom has a hella relaxed atmosphere - the purple building says it all. I can definitely see why it's a recognized ATL staple. I came here with some friends. We ordered the bruschetta and a pizza 1/2 House Special 1/2 Gourmet White. Our server was really nice, and I was surprised that we could split the pizza even though the underlying sauces were different. I thought the bruschetta was really good. In the interest of full disclosure, I'm not a bruschetta snob - I haven't even had it that many times at restaurants, but I really liked the balsamic vinegar MM drizzled on top. Definitely gave the entire dish a sweet lip-lickin' effect. The pizza wasn't amazing, but it did the job. I would say that it wouldn't hurt to be a little more generous with the toppings. What stuck out was that I am definitely a fan of the crust here - it's the perfect combination of chewy, doughy, crunchy, and moist. I'd come back and try out some other things on the menu, but I'm also not in a hurry to return either. Other things: - Parking spaces are kinda angled funny, so be on the lookout when you drive on in. - They were pretty busy on a Saturday night at like 8:30 p.m., so I think is always a good sign. - Website with pictures of the House Special having hella toppings is slightly deceiving.

Nom nom nom... the pizza is really good! It doesn't have that corporatey/fake/cheap niceness you'd find at a pizza hut, but moreso a local mom and pop shop (even though it's a wee bit of a chain :) ). Also, try the pretzel knots. My fiance ordered em for us that last time I was there and dannnnnng they were good.

Great, laid-back atmosphere. Nearly always packed, especially on Wednesday trivia nights. I am addicted to Mellow Mushroom's pesto pizza slice. My only complaint is the service, which is frankly horrible because it is really hard to get and keep a server's attention before he/she runs off to another table. The pizza usually arrives within 20-35 minutes, so be prepared to wait a while.
(4)
Belle S.
I came here about 2 years ago to meet with a friend and it was a good experience. It's pretty casual and laid back, perfect for what we were looking for. And the pizza was good, of course. Not the best pizza I've ever had though. The parking situation was ok and the ambiance was chill. I would be back because of the convenience, but I try to avoid pizza in general because I eat it way too much.

I love this place. It really isn't just a matter of the food, though that is great. This is an example of one of those neighborhood places that you just feel at home at. It's comfortable, it's satisfying, and it is someplace you don't mind visiting over and over again. I am not a huge Mellow Mushroom fan. I think the pizza is much better than your typical national delivery brands. It isn't gourmet however, so don't go expecting a charred brick oven crust and fresh buffalo mozzarella. The crust is tasty in the way good freshly baked bread is, the toppings good quality, and when fresh out of the oven, can't be beat for a weeknight dinner. The salads are also very good quality. What makes this place special to me is the wonderful laid back vibe that reminds me a little of Austin, Texas. Maybe it is the Emory students that read philosophy books at the bar with a beer and enormous calzones to keep them company, or the families that gather around the big table in front, or the nice patio to enjoy on a pretty spring night. It could also be a great wait staff that is friendly in an understated way...I don't know but it just feels right, like a neighborhood place should, and not like the corporate franchise that it is.

The service is usually good, the food is consistent, and the beer list is long. I've been to several other locations but I frequent this one the most. All of their slices are awesome because the toppings are so fresh. It's impossible to make a bad choice. I'm usually sucker for a spur of the moment concoction and a lil greek salad - so simple but so so good! And there is nothing lil about those salads. I've never been to any of the events that they host but I know that they do trivia nights and such.

If you're looking for a really good pizza... Nice beer selection... hip hippy vibe... music... Mellow Mushroom is tough to beat! I love their wheat crust and the pretzels make me happy to be alive! They have been opening new restaurants at a pretty good clip in the southeast but the older the store, the cooler the vibe, have fun and enjoy the trip.

I don't remember Mellow Mushroom being this good. Maybe I just failed to order bacon on my pizza before, but really, really good. No comment on the other menu items because i was up pretty late the night before and was solely on a mission to consume bacon pizza and beer. a++

Deuces Mellow Mushroom Brookhaven!!! Never again will I go to the Brookhaven location now that I have been here. I have been craving the Shroom for a minute but I didn't want to deal with the bullshit entailed with ordering a pie from Brookhaven. Brookhaven would always screw up my order some how and parking is a bitch over there. Anyway, enough about B'haven - let's talk LaVista. Technically I think this spot is closer to my house than any other MM location but I have never been here for some reason. I needed to fulfill my Mellow Mushroom craving so I decided to order a pizza from here for take out. I called it in, the gal who took my order was super nice, and I was told to give them 35-40 minutes. Seemed like a long time but whatever. So 35 minutes I go to pick up my pizza and the guy said it'd be a few more minutes. No biggie. So this pizza was done right at 40 minutes from the time I placed my order. This is important to me because I get pissed off when I'm sitting there for an extra 20 minutes waiting on my to-go order. So I get home and oh my, this pizza was good!!! It tasted way better than any Mellow Mushroom pie I have ever consumed. Maybe it's because I was starving and have been craving this for so long, but it was just mmm mmm good. The crust was perfect and had that little sweetness kick to it. The sauce to cheese and topping ratio was perfect. It rocked my face off... Needless to say this will be my go to Mellow Mushroom location. I'm not sure I would try dining here on a Friday or Saturday night because it was kind of chaotic but I think I'll try eating in sometime during the week. Yay. I'm happy! Ciao Brookhaven!

I was told before I went to order the Mighty Meat pizza! When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the nice selection on the menu! I started with the Jerk wings and ended with the pizza! Let's just say yummy and I will be back!

No gimmick...just good Pizza, Beer, and Atmosphere! I've been frequenting this MM for years. Probably too much. The owners and staff are as good as they get. Laid back without any drama. Fun staff. They take excellent care of you. And...you can still get a great SLICE at anytime and decent beer. And how can you beat $5.00 pitchers during an ATL sports team game on the big screens. I just wish parents would control their kids! Just because the atmosphere and music is casual, doesn't mean its a Chuckie Cheese!

One of the best pizza places around...They are consistently great no matter which location you go to. The staff at the emory location is always fast and super friendly. The calzones are awesome but its hard to pass up the pies. It does get packed in here so I would recommend getting yours to go. The parking lot is tiny also so its hard to find a spot during peak times. Calling in to take out will be your best bet.

I decided to get over my Mellow Mushroom repulsion. I went back recently and, to my surprise, they changed a lot of their menu. They don't have the pizza or the salad that made me sick. Yay! I ordered the House special pizza, minus the onions, and the spinach salad. I'm not fond of the heavy, thick cream dressing that's served with the salad, but fresh bacon and mushrooms....heaven. The house pizza is my favorite. It's pretty much got everything on it, tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, peppers, ground beef, ham, bacon...cheese...more cheese...and sprinkled with parmesan. I seriously think this pizza is what the Fellini's special pizza tries to be. The ground beef isn't just beef, it's browned and seasoned perfectly and isn't greasy. It's just so...good! The crust is always my favorite. I don't know how they do it. I have yet to true their sandwiches because the pizza is so good! But my boyfriend loves the Italian sandwich and it really does look delicious. So for now, Mellow Mushroom is back in my good graces. And someday I'll get a calzone. But for now, I'm far too obsessed with the house pizza!

I've been here a couple times now for the Wednesday night trivia. I've never been a big fan of MM's food, and this location hasn't really changed that opinion much. Its not bad food mind you, but there is MUCH better pizza to be had around town. This location isn't very large, and it gets insanely crowded during trivia. Be forewarned the line for the bathroom (both men's and women's) can get to be 5 people deep. I gave up waiting and walked across the street to Starbucks during the halftime break. The trivia competition is pretty easy compared to many places because the crowd is so young. The two times I went we took first and second out of at least 15 teams, several of whom had more people than us. Its a fun time though, and the servers have all been nice, especially given the challenging conditions with the crowds, so I'll bump it up to 3 stars.

The mellow mushroom is a weekly stop for me and Karen. The welcoming, relaxed atmosphere makes it a friendly neighborhood dive that we love going to. I'm hooked on the Jerk Chicken Sandwich (hold the onions, please), but the pizza is worth the visit too. The Kosmic Karma was a pleasant surprise two nights ago, and we look forward to trying more of their speciality pies. Now that Fall has arrived, the patio area is attractive seating. I look forward to truly cold weather when they will fire up the gas heaters above the tables. As with any place, some nights in the kitchen are better than others, but the pleasantly run-down vibe and friendly staff make it a place I'd find hard to pass by when a week has passed.

This MM location is solid and my favorite MM, by far. The pizzas are good, but I like their sandwiches the best! The avocado (ordered without the mayo) hoagie is my favorite, but the tofu and jerk chicken are good too. There is something about the bread. It's soft but it holds a sandwich together well. The pretzels are great as well. The Emory location isn't gimmicky like the newer MMs and has been serving great food to the Emory community for some time now...long before it started branching out all over the country. The only complaint I have about this place is that the parking is kinda tricky and you won't always find a spot.

Rei W.
The only place where I look forward to getting to the crust. It's so tasty and really makes the entire pizza stand out. Prices are more than decent if you're sharing, but can get a little bit pricey if you're ordering individual slices with toppings. For example, my favorite is the House pesto. Pizza with a pesto base and spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes. 2 can easily share a small, 4 slices, for 9.50 (4.75 for 2 slices). But If I were to order a slice with 4 toppings, it would be 1.95 +2.00 (0.50 per topping) $3.95 a slice. Conclusion: order an entire pie (even if it's just for yourself)

We have been here with our friends a couple times. They are nice folks serving and at the counter. Food is usually good and while they dont deliver, they will certainly take your order over phone and keep it ready. A good place for a quick dinner and drink. I understand their trivia nights are quite the hit though I have never been. Better to carpool if you have a big gang as parking up front can get crazy on weekends.

My first stop in Atlanta was Mellow Mushroom, since my cousin has had a tradition of "Friday Night Pizza" for as long as I can remember! The pizza was good, but nothing exceptional. The atmosphere was very family-friendly and casual, service was OK but not great (apparently we got the waiter who has a reputation for always getting at least one thing wrong), and the menu had lots to choose from. I wouldn't say there is anything exceptional about this place, and I don't have any points of comparison, but if I found myself in Atlanta craving pizza I wouldn't hesitate to head back to Mellow Mushroom.

Great atmosphere and an extremely nice staff! The pizza was ok, but the hummus appetizer was amazing!!

ATMOSPHERE: Casual. Clean space. FOOD: Seems like less options on the "specialty pizzas" section then other Mellow Mushrooms. Ordered: 1. Artichoke, broccoli, mushroom pizza with marinara sauce - this pizza was a create your own option. It was very good! I love broccoli on pizza! SERVICE: Good. Not that busy as we came at a weird time - 4pm. PRICES: Very fair. PARKING: Easy to find in the lot. CONCLUSION: I've always been a fan of mellow mushroom and this location doesn't change my mind. Always a good place for a casual meal.

Never been a fan of mellow mushroom it's overpriced and the taste just isn't their. You can spend less in NYC and get a pizza that blows MM out the water. Will I go back ? Not in this lifetime. I'd rather fly to NYC walk the Brooklyn Bridge during a snow storm rather than drive 3 miles to eat this garbage they call pizza.

It was a decade ago, but the Mellow Mushroom during my college days provided delicious pizza sustenance and ample pitchers of beer, without inconveniencing me over minor issues like requiring an "I.D." If a vast array of toppings turns you on... and how could it not... then you'll revel in the choices. Trippy wall art notwithstanding, it's a good staple for you Emory kids so do what I did and make the most of your beer and pizza dollars here.
(4)

The pizza is everything a pizza should be and made with quality & freshness. The pizza looks like its out of a magazine but whats makes Mellow Mushroom good is the freshness. I'm not in the kitchen but you can taste that it is made of better stuff. The price is average but the quality is great which makes the choice good. PS. this was at the Lavista Rd location, each is interdependently operated so I can't speak for the others.

This review is not about their Pizza, which i love by the way. rather this is about a very bad customer experience. Looking on Yelp it was indicated they deliver, while this is unusual for a Mellow Mushroom we figured that perhaps this is because this location is close to a University. Anyway when we called to confirm if this was correct we were told no and if we want delivery we should try Pappa John's. I'm not sure this is the best way to keep customers.

Today, my boyfriend and I went to this location so he could enjoy his favorite pizza place. Who can't resist having your own base in your pizza and so many different toppings to choose from! The place opens at 11 for lunch and we were there at around 11:10. We were the ONLY customers in there. The waitress took our order, brought us our water and promptly went behind the counter and proceeded to just stand there. 30 minutes later, I'm wondering whats going on as two more people have walked in and BOTH have gotten their orders. Waitress has not come back and checked on us. Then others arrived and picked up their to-go orders and we're still waiting with nothing. 45 minutes into it, my boyfriend finally asks where our food was and she told us it would be within 5 minutes. Whew! Thats fine. The pizza arrives and its WRONG! Now by this time, we both are agitated as we sat and waited and they treated us as if were invisible and then you get our order wrong! Another female who I presumed was the manager offered to remake the pizza for a discount which would take another 15 minutes (or so she said). Now its starting to fill up there now with customers and she expects us to believe that she will have the pizza out in 15 minutes when it took you almost an hour when we were the only customers! Now we might have waited those extra 15 minutes if it had been offered to us as no charge but after being treated as if were not there, having others served before us when we had been there a sizable amount of time left a sour taste in our mouths. We declined her offer, refused the messed up pizza, and left. At least we got some water and were able to watch some basketball highlights on ESPN on a big screen tv. We will not be returning to this location.

Outstanding! Pizzas are excellent. The hummus and bruschetta are amazing. I love the Capri (Caprese) with reduced balsamic drizzled over it. Wonderful beers on tap. Love the Sweetwater IPA. Ask for a lime with it! Yummo!

Mellow Mushroom has existed as an Atlanta staple for years and years. They have more toppings than most other pizza places and serve up a consistently appeitizing slice. Their sandwiches are less appealing but still worth the money if you don't want the pizza. My one complaint with these places is the decor. Neo-hippie Dead-fawning garbage. Nothing turns off my appetite like stoner 'culture' and this place is soaked in it. Mellow Mushroom? Dude, brah. Still, that shouldn't be such a deterrent. Their food is great and moderately priced. No points for style, but worth a sit down.
Although I come here every week with Laura N., a sausage pizza slice from this particular Mellow Mushroom gave me the worst food poisoning of my life.

Really wishing I had a MM Big Greek Salad in front of me right now. Scarfed one down last night with a slice of pepperoni, but would have no problem eating one every day. Love everything about their pizza too, from the yummy crust to the not-too-sweet sauce to the fresh toppings. Never had any combination of toppings there that I didn't love. And your fountain drinks come in huge half gallon sized cups. Looong beer list. We usually grab take out from there, but occassionally dine in. Now that we're parents, we eat at absurdly early hours, so never a problem with crowds or parking. I do remember back in the day as an Emory student that this place would get PACKED at night, specifically on trivia and sports nights. We usually hit up this place during kid friendly hours, and often see other families. My daughter likes the funky mural and the rainbow colored high chairs here :) The service can be a little slow sometimes, and I don't exaggerate when I say that I think the entire staff there is stoned. Not too stoned to cook up some amazing pizza, so it's all good in my book!

Best Mellow Mushroom in the A-T-L. Whenever I'm in town and have a hankering for awesome brick-oven pizza, this is where I head to - toppings are always fresh, sauce is not overly sweet, and the meats are seasoned well. It's usually packed, given its proximity to schools, but go during the week and you'll probably find an open table without any troubles and toss back a few beers.

First time I went, I was hooked. The Caribbean Jerk Chicken sandwich will make ya want to slap somebody. With every bite you take, you take it nice and slow because you just don't want it to come to an end. You will have a love affair with this sandwich. I always get the Jerk Chicken sandwich with a small tossed salad, All sandwiches comes toasted so if you don't like your bread toasted, you will have to let the server know when they take your order. I also tried the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Pizza and although it is good too, I prefer the sandwich...... Two-thumbs up..

I've been a frequent mellow mushroom follower and I have to say that the Lavista Mellow Mushroom tops them all. The owners and staff are top notch and even know me by name. That tells you I go there way to much but I can't resist. Cheap beer and food. Gotta love it.

Awesome place to grab high-quality pizza. Although the food is good, the service is...well, sometimes not so good. Also, noise can be a problem. If you sit outside; however, you can avoid this. Also, if the pizza does not completely fill you up, order the parmesan pretzels....they are amazing!!!

Mellow mushroom is probably one of the better pizza places in Atlanta, and this location holds a special place in my heart because of their wonderful Wednesday Night Trivia games. The pizza is fresh with good toppings and interesting combinations. Salads are also pretty tasty, and you should try their cinnamon pretzels at least once. Definitely trek out to this place, especially on trivia night. Be sure to read the grafitti on the bathroom walls, too.

This reliable establishment is perhaps better known for its pretzels (doughy, not crunchy) than its pizza, although let's be clear, the pizza is terrific. Pretzels are dusted with Parmesan cheese and served with your choice of dipping sauces or coated with cinnamon sugar and served with honey (my personal choice). The pizza selection will not disappoint. Even if they don't have your personal craving on the menu, they'll make it for you. You can choose from their vast selection of toppings to create your own pizza with pizzazz. Staff personalities are usually as colorful as the interior of Mellow Mushroom. This adds yet another sensory dimension to your dining experience.

This is my favorite pizza joint. There are many differant toppings to choose from. It's pretty kid friendly and the pizza is always HOT! The other great thing is, they don't skimp on the toppings. The price for the pizza is more than pizza hut or domino's but it's worth it.
(4)
Amanda S.
A good place to grab a slice or a calzone. They offer a long list of toppings, far more impressive than Fellini's, and the slices are large and thin. Also, be sure to order the garlic bread with cheese; it's super soft and yummy. They have different beer specials on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays as well. Our waitress was nice, and the setting was mellow indeed. There's also a ginormous HDTV to watch if your conversation hits a lull. Overall, not quite as cheap or good as Fellini's, but they have a much wider variety of toppings and of foods in general to choose from.
(4)
Katie W.
I like the number of veggie pizza options here and I think the prices are pretty good. The toppings are appealing and there are a lot of them. But, the crust is thicker than I like and the pizza was greasy - not just the cheese but also the crust. It just felt very heavy. However, the flavors were good. The salad was good (the chef salad) with lots of veggies and cheese. The beer was good, too (Terrapin), and it's offered at a good price and it comes in pitchers which I quite enjoy. Everything was served very quickly and the service was good. If the pizza was thinner and less greasy, I would like this place a whole lot more. I would like to give 3.5 stars but, since I cannot, I will be kind and round up to 4.
(4)
Elizabeth D.
I like pizza and I like mellow mushroom. My only complaint, the slices could be larger. The sauce is great and the cheese abundant.
(4)
Erin E.
The pretzels are good. The pizzas are decent. The hoagies are pretty good, and they have some interesting varieties. But the best reason to go to Mellow Mushroom is THE BEER. If you're looking for a place where you can have a little pizza with your beer, this is the joint for you.
(3)
Amy C.
I used to frequent this place, but during the summer of 2007, something changed there. For whatever reason the pizza became really greasy, as in inedible greasy. We started going to the Decatur location instead, which is better. Maybe the problem was temporary, but I don't think it's worth the risk to find out, given the large number of comparable options.
(2)
Cindy T.
i had the jerk chicken hoagie. i didn't know what i was in for, but luckily i enjoyed it. the serving size (half size) was pretty filling. it had spinach, pineapples, and jerk seasoned chicken. this location is kinda run down but i don't know...i think i saw other locations that weren't as run down as this one..but the food was good !!!

This is my favorite Mellow Mushroom. The guys who own this place are soooooo nice. Large Greek Salad = best salad in Atlanta, hands down.
(5)
Margo R.
I may have said this before, but I really could eat pizza every day. Cheese, bread, and sauce. Genius! Mellow Mushroom manages this concept well, and does not disappoint. This isn't the great pizza in Atlanta, but it's certainly good. Create your own with fresh tasty toppings or just go for the cheese. Either way it's satisfying. Enjoy!

Unlike most MM's, this place isn't about wizards and plastic cartoon characters. It's a bar with Mellow Mushroom food. The staff and owners are laid back and friendly. The beer selection is pretty good. It stays busy most nights, but ebbs and flows with the tide of the Emory school schedule, since it's so closeby.

This location near Briarcliff Road behind Whole Foods is by far the best Mellow Mushroom in Atlanta. Even though it's not right by Emory, this is considered the Emory location. The pizza is of good consistent quality. The salads are excellent, and their esperonzo dressing doesn't come out of little pre-packaged cups as it does at some locations. The servers, mostly college student types, are friendly and attentive. The manager is hard working and is usually behind the counter and at the register. He's there every time we go, and he's a really nice guy. Outdoor seating is available as well as indoor which include really spacious booths. Parking can be tight at peak times.

So, when I used to live in Atlanta, I ate here a lot. Recently, on a trip down there, Mellow Mushroom was on my to do list and it was as good as I remembered. Great casual place with very reasonable prices and a very friendly manager (I'm assuming he is the manager) at the register. The pretzels (I had the parmesan) were so doughy and yummy and I enjoyed dipping them in the tomato sauce. The pizza (I had it by the slice) was delicious - the crust was just how I like it - doughy and kinda sweet. There are so many different topping options, ranging from traditional to more interesting. I also had one of the small salads and was very happy with my choice - generous portion of bacon, fresh spinach and mushrooms and a good selection of dressings. The diet coke was refilled numerous times without my having to ask. I was so full when I left, but I wanted to keep eating anyway and was sad I couldn't pack the pizza in my luggage to take back to NYC.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

(5)Kyle K.
(4)Cindy B.
(4)Darlene F.
(4)Valerie N.
(4)Michelle C.
(5)Jenny M.

(5)Susie H.
(5)David L.
We stopped in to eat. They didn't want us here because my truck took too many spaces. So I'm off to find somewhere I'm welcome at.
(1)Kristin P.
(4)Anna H.
Delicious pizza. The mushroom pizza with the jalapeños is delicious. Also tried the bbq chicken, it was good but not my favorite.
(4)A.J. C.
Food was awesome as usual. Sat @ the bar and chowed down while we watched some college basketball
(4)C Z.

(5)Robert P.

First place I went to after moving to atlanta. In particular the one on lavista road. Definitely recommend any kind of pizza!
(5)Rebekah H.

Don't eat at restaurant. Service is consistently slow and unpleasant. Only order out!!!!!! Pizza is amazing though!!!
(1)Kelly Z.
(5)Diedre R.
(4)Sharon R.
(5)Rob M.
Mello great smello mushroom .. Good pizza even if it is now a chain! But if you are in Atlanta, you want to run to Varasano's which is the best!
(4)Nancy C.
Their Caesar pizza is simply the BEST! And nice cold brews. The patio is great year-round.
(4)Carrie Neal W.
(4)Becky R.

Go!
(4)Dio S.

(2)Stone M.
(4)Anita C.
(4)Mick D.
(4)Draft M.
Recommend.
(4)Ariel S.
Love, Love, Loveeee this place! They have awesome, cheesy-garlic pizza, and great cheesy bread (see a pattern?)!! They have fast service and good prices. Definitely try this place out!
(5)Shardule S.
(4)Alex B.
(4)Franklin C.

Loved it!
(5)Liz P.
Good mushroom pizza, huge slices. Cheese bread was okay, nothing special.
(3)Ethan T.
Lots of good pizzas and fun family atmosphere
(4)Ned S.
(3)Winston G.
(5)Stephen A.
This is my favorite Mellow Mushroom location. They make the best veggie pizza and always have my favorite beer (Terrapin Rye) on tap.
(5)Caesar M.
2 slices of pizza for under 5 bucks! im in...
(3)AR C.
(3)Michael O.
Favorite pizza in Atlanta. Thai Dye is the best!
(5)Hunter B.
Mellow Mushroom is by far my favorite pizza chain. The prices are a little high but the pizza is worth it. I highly recommend the Gourmet White.
(5)Lauren M.
(5)charles m.
when i spend 20 bucks on a medium pizza with 3 toppings i sorta expect it to be good. crust was decent but super-stingy on the cheese and everything else. about an ounce of sausage on the whole pie... c'mon ATL, you deserve better than this!
(2)Denny C.
(3)Cameron W.
(4)Hawkins G.
Love this place and it's right around the corner from me. Come once a week and the service, owner and food are all great. Best BBQ chicken pizza I've had.
(5)Edward C.
I love the pizza here. The atmosphere is lacking but the food makes up for it.
(4)Laura N.
(4)Belle S.
(3)Ginger H.
(4)Laura R.
(4)Jeremy M.
(4)Mary M.
I don't remember Mellow Mushroom being this good. Maybe I just failed to order bacon on my pizza before, but really, really good. No comment on the other menu items because i was up pretty late the night before and was solely on a mission to consume bacon pizza and beer. a++
(4)Lisa B.
(4)Nita Thatstylistchick W.
I was told before I went to order the Mighty Meat pizza! When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the nice selection on the menu! I started with the Jerk wings and ended with the pizza! Let's just say yummy and I will be back!
(4)Jim S.
(5)Eric L.
(5)Marie P.
(5)Bill S.

I go here just about every week. I love Mellow Mushroom pizza, and this particular store has a good vibe. The service is friendly and swift and the ambiance is always relaxed.

We will not be returning to this location.

my favorite bbq chicken pizza anywhere :)

Little pricy, but best pizza I've ever had.
(4)Lester M.
Outstanding! Pizzas are excellent. The hummus and bruschetta are amazing. I love the Capri (Caprese) with reduced balsamic drizzled over it. Wonderful beers on tap. Love the Sweetwater IPA. Ask for a lime with it! Yummo!
(5)Blake B.

Im convinced that Mellow Mushroom has some of the best pizza on the planet. Even though its technically a chain (which I loathe) there are so few M.M.'s that I don't really consider it one. That being said, Im writing a review on this particular M.M. because if memory serves me correctly it was my initial experience. I lived in the ATL area for a short span of time during which I discovered M.M. The resturant was started back in the 70's by a few college students in GA and the vibe they created continues. Imagine if you will pizza joint meets Alice In Wonderland via Woodstock. The atmosphere is groovy and the food is sublime. My favorites include the hummus, the magical mystery tour pizza (they make their dough with spring water!) and la pièce de résistance the ice cold Woodchuck Amber Draft Cider on tap.

Although I come here every week with Laura N., a sausage pizza slice from this particular Mellow Mushroom gave me the worst food poisoning of my life.

Excellent spinach salad and pizza

(4)Rhonda G.
(5)Kari S.
I've been a frequent mellow mushroom follower and I have to say that the Lavista Mellow Mushroom tops them all. The owners and staff are top notch and even know me by name. That tells you I go there way to much but I can't resist. Cheap beer and food. Gotta love it.
(5)Callen I.
(4)Eric M.
(4)Rebecca O.
(4)Michelle K.
This is my favorite pizza joint. There are many differant toppings to choose from. It's pretty kid friendly and the pizza is always HOT! The other great thing is, they don't skimp on the toppings. The price for the pizza is more than pizza hut or domino's but it's worth it.
(4)Amanda S.
(4)Katie W.
(4)Elizabeth D.
I like pizza and I like mellow mushroom. My only complaint, the slices could be larger. The sauce is great and the cheese abundant.
(4)Erin E.
The pretzels are good. The pizzas are decent. The hoagies are pretty good, and they have some interesting varieties. But the best reason to go to Mellow Mushroom is THE BEER. If you're looking for a place where you can have a little pizza with your beer, this is the joint for you.
(3)Amy C.
(2)Cindy T.
i had the jerk chicken hoagie. i didn't know what i was in for, but luckily i enjoyed it. the serving size (half size) was pretty filling. it had spinach, pineapples, and jerk seasoned chicken. this location is kinda run down but i don't know...i think i saw other locations that weren't as run down as this one..but the food was good !!!
(3)Kevin B.
Just love this pizza!
(5)Amy G.
The pizza is interesting with lots of variations, but if you want real pizza in Atlanta you have to go to Camellis.
(3)Elizabeth S.
This is my favorite Mellow Mushroom. The guys who own this place are soooooo nice. Large Greek Salad = best salad in Atlanta, hands down.
(5)Margo R.
Enjoy!
(4)Colin J.
(5)Gil ..
