Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

This pizza was so good that I'm writing this review before even leaving the table. As a newbie to the Atlanta area, I chose this place because I wanted to explore Little Five Points. So glad I did. Easily the best pizza crust I've had and the slices are huge. My party ordered Sicilian, spinach and mushroom slice, and cheese slice. Toppings on the one slice were plentiful (the garlic was awesome). Food took a little bit to come out because it's made to order instead of sitting in a nasty window all day. Definitely a new favorite spot!

Admittedly, this was the third back up restaurant after four failed attempts at lunch, so by the time we arrived here, tensions were a little high (I'm the queen of "hangry"-ness). However, its familiarity- and their casual atmosphere put me right at home. Initially, I was thrown off by its similarity to Fellini's: the menu is basically identical -- right down to the menu board, same price point, and it's also the same set-up of ordering and delivery. However, after reading through previous reviews, I realized that Little 5 Pizza was in a fact a Fellini's. That 'splains it. I had a slice of the Hawaiian and the Pepperoni - it took about 10 minutes for both to arrive; Each slice is quite large - one slice was pretty filling on its own. I was hungry. Really hungry, so they really hit the spot, the pizzas are absolutely smothered in cheese - which I prefer, but if you don't - make a note of it when ordering. Overall, I liked the pizza, there wasn't much interaction with the staff, but the cashier was pleasant enough - though one thing struck me as odd: when a customer pays with a debit/credit card, the cashier would ask for a tip immediately, which is something we would do normally without having to be asked. We were seated by the register and every customer the cashier asked seemed quite taken aback. It's a bit awkward and unnecessary - at least in my opinion.

Pizza was delicious. When i was ordering, i figured getting a slice or two would be good since we would be eating dinner later on in the day. I was staring at the menu and figured "Well, as much as I love pizza - I should probably get two slices since they'll probably be small" ---- Yeah well... when the pizza came, i was in shock! The slices were huge! Its perfectly thin and a thin crust. I like when there is little sauce but I mean, its not everyone's cup of tea. Definitely would come back here again.

I lived in New York for 7 years, I love pizza, and I've tried all the other places in the surrounding area (Camelis, Savage, Fellini's, Jacks). That said, Little 5 Pizza is my favorite! Get the white pizza, you won't regret it. Chill out with a pitcher of beer, some great pizza, and free arcade games. What more could you need??
(4)Claudia A.
It was OK. Not bad but not amazing either. I got a salad and it cheap which is a plus. Our pizza came out a long while later which is fine, it was fresh which takes time. Nothing special about it but if I ever have to kill time again, I might stop by and try a different flavor and update my review. Did I mention the beer is cheap? I got two for $6, can't beat that. Everyone is very cheerful and friendly here. A trip to the restroom is hilarious. You walk past the crazy decor and paintings. The restroom was at least clean and stocked up on paper products. Grafiti on the walls is fun to read. I expect nothing less in this part of town, but who actually travels around going to restrooms with a black sharpie?

Only rating the pizza here, it is excellent. Homemade tasting crust, just the right thickness, plain tasting but good. We ordered the special which has a ton of great ingredients on it, one including meatballs (meatballs?! Say what?), wasn't sure what to expect. Found out they are sliced meatballs used as topping. One slice would make a good meal, the cuts are quite large and with a ton of toppings, quite filling. The service was fine. Our pizza came out without the side I ordered, our guy quickly realized and promised to bring it right out, and he did. Inside looked clean enough. We sat on the patio, though it was great for people watching right at the 5 points mark, I soon began to feel like this little corner (patio area) we were at is pretty dive like. Maybe I was being overly cautious and aware, being on foot and from out of town though. Anyway, go... go for the pizza! You will not be disappointed.
(5)Christina D.
The pizza is good here, especially after a drunken night. They have other things on the menu that look good but only have had their pizza. The manager is an ASS too, he was rude but the staff wasn't. He'd be my only reason for not going back.
(3)Maria L.
Service is a bit long for a slice of pizza but worth the wait cause it is DELICIOUS! You need to try spinach mushroom pizza!
(5)Michelle F.
This is my absolute favorite pizza spot in L5P! I usually order the spinach and mushroom slice. They have a great patio and excellent beer list as well.
(5)Eike M.
I've eaten here 4 or 5 times because I live nearby, but refuse to go anymore. Their pizza is greasy and usually has a soggy crust and it's way way overpriced for the size and quality. The employees are incredibly rude - I usually have to wait for them to notice me standing there. One time I actually had to speak up just so the guy would turn around and take my order, and he acted like I was asking him for a favor... One that he'd charge me 23 dollars for. I would love to spit in his food. ONE STAR.
(1)Candice S.
Best slice of pizza I have had in a long time! Ordered a slice of veggie load with vegetables and the crust was still crispy and yummy! Great salad too! Definitely go back when in town!
(5)Erik B.
I wouldn't waste any money here until they hire more people. Went in last Sunday night with the lady to enjoy the l5p atmosphere and do some people watching with a pie and a pitcher. It was utter chaos in there. For starters the guy making whole pies(heavier guy, long goatee) is slamming around dough containers and berating the dude who I assume is the food runner/dishwasher/bus boy/floor manager?(The food runner was fielding a ton of mistake orders that kept popping out along with trying to run food, wash dishes, clean up tables, sweep up garbage because I guess they were understaffed by at least 1 or 2 people). How you give a person that many duties and expect him/her to be in multiple places at once is beyond me and I own two restaurants. Felt really bad for the guy the way he was treated by that pizza thrower dude. It was a bit awkward from a customers perspective. The food runner guy brought us our pizza which was incorrect but we didn't say anything. Not going to make a big deal about a few incorrect toppings which would have set us back another 40 minutes which is how long it took for us to get our pizza in the first place. Pizza was borderline burnt but I like a crispier pizza so I was content, though nothing that grand flavor wise. The runner guy made sure we had our condiments and appropriate utensils when he dropped off our pizza and was super nice compared the the angry pizza thrower dude(who kept slamming around dough containers, being obnoxiously loud and mean mugging the runner. I guess he was stressed due to the high volume and was taking it out on someone). Just a lousy experience all around, the lady and I could tell that it was all due to not having enough hands on deck to make the ship run smoothly. I tipped the runner guy with the white hat ten bucks as my girlfriend went to the bathroom. He said thank you for coming in and put the money in the tip jar to split by the entire staff when I really meant to just give it to him. I asked the runner if it is always this chaotic and I couldn't believe this part, turns out it was his first shift so he didn't know. They need to hire about 3 more of this guy and the place would probably be a hell of a lot better, or just staff more people and make cuts accordingly like every other restaurant so it doesn't seem like a crap show. Headed to Savage Pizza from now on and I hope that runner guy lands somewhere that appreciates his hard work. Still can't believe that guy was doing all of that on his first shift while taking tons of crap from that pizza thrower guy. I guess some people are just jerks.

I took a couple sips of my coke and immediately had to vomit! I could tell the soda dispensers had a build up of slime. Never have I ever tasted such a disgusting soda. The pizza was bland. I ordered mushrooms and pepperoni and the mushrooms were completely raw. They weren't even hot. It was as if they were thrown on at the last minute as an afterthought. Asking for a tip as soon as you take my order---what's up with that?!
(1)paulita b.
Silence me? No silence you! In an effort to adhere to the Yelp Military Police, I shall describe with slightly more detail, why I say this place is no bueno. The pizza is bland, the service takes forever, the air is greasy. The atmosphere is frightful. Is that enough? Do you need more? How do I detail the flavor profiles of Cisco discount provisions that probably are what this food is made of. Look, I love piZza. LOVE! I'm gonna spread my gospel.

Went here on a whim for a bite to eat before a darts match (as an alternative to other pizza joints in this neighborhood such as Savage Pizza or Camelli's). The place used to be a Fellini's several years ago. A musician friend of mine who I have not seen in years (Marty Perkins) used to work here. I think the name of the band he was in was called Freak Magnet but I cannot recall for certain. The place always has had (and perhaps still does) somewhat of a cool slacker lazy vibe. This vibe is especially evident in the attitude / demeanor of the folks who work here. Anyway the ambience / vibe is still the same and perhaps the same quality can be found in the food. The food has seemed to always varied in quality from serviceable to outstanding (depending on what you order and the mood of the person preparing / serving it). I ordered two slices and a beer. The food I ordered was a white pizza slice and a pepperoni pizza slice. They were good. Perhaps not great but certainly good. The beer I ordered was a rolling rock bottle, also in the category of "perhaps not great but certainly good". The bill came to about 10 bucks and change, which is reasonable I suppose. I would say this place is worth a visit if you have not ever been; however, I may or may not make this a regular stop. Perhaps really deserves 3.5 stars but I will be content to give 3 as of this writing.

ATL area folks- Is it just me, or has Little 5 Pizza just gone to Hell in the last couple months? Last time we went, they were almost empty, and it still took forever to get some slices to the table. I chalked it up as an "off" day. Tonight, it was the same scenario. Dead as Hell, and I was ready to eat one of their faces before they could manage to get our 3 slices to us. What gives?
(2)Luka S.
Best tasting pizza in little 5 !! The slices are huge. Not a big fan of their Salads they are too simple small and way too much dressing.
(4)Philip S.
The slices served to me here may have set pizza back 20 years. Forced one down and threw the other one away untouched Service was fine.
(2)Ula H.
I really like this pizza. They service is also good.
(4)Marta P.
It's hard to compare the different pizza joints throughout Atlanta, mainly because I think there are different levels of pizza in the city. So why 4 stars here? 3 simple reasons: 1. L5P hardcore people watching on the patio 2. 1 slice is a filler-upper before watching a show at Star Bar (slices here are slightly larger than Fellini's) 3. Cheap cheap cheap cheap Yes, it is the typical cheese pizza, reheated with toppings of your liking. Yes the staff can sometimes be in a bad mood. But somehow this all adds to the appeal. You don't come here expecting great pizza. You come here to get fed for cheap and leave with a happy belly that can now soak up more alcohol than before. And you get a free show which you're at it. Nuff said.
(4)Rebecca R.
i LOVE it here. we've been going to little 5 pizza since it was fellini's. it is small establishment, and gets very busy, but the wait is worth it. the food is amazing, and priced perfectly within our budget.
(5)Calvin S.
This was the most DISGUSTING slice I have ever had in my entire life! There was barely any sauce, and then they had the nerve to over cook it!
(1)Brittany M.
Love their pizza, but the place could use a good cleaning. I understand the vibe it's trying to give off, but the sanitary requirements need to improve vastly.
(4)Elizabeth B.
This place has THE BEST white pizza. It's got a ton of cheese and the crust was perfectly crispy. I will definitely be coming back here for pizza when I'm craving pizza in little five. The people who work there are super chill and it smells amazing in there. One thing though, if you are a conscientious tipper like me, make sure you tell them how much you're tipping if you're paying with a card before they run it. Pizza!
(5)Sam B.
This location used to be a Fellini's Pizza, and their pizza is pretty much the same as any Fellini's location (which is a good thing). I highly recommend the Spinach & Mushroom pizza. Their Sausage is also pretty good. I have two complaints - 1. The service is very inconsistent - It can take anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes to get your pizza (no exaggeration). 2. The staff always asks for tips when you get a to-go/pick-up order - I always tip when I get to-go orders at restaurants anyways, but it's really annoying when the cashier asks me to tip. One of my friends didn't tip one time, and the cashier whined about it. In conclusion, although the service sucks, and I don't like the staff, I'll keep coming back because the pizza is good, and I live three doors down from the restaurant.
(3)Stacy S.
Cheap People Watching While Drinking Brew, Maybe Eat If Needed... The sauce its bland. I think recently I've been eating better pizza. Been coming here for years for the cheap brew and outdoor seating and it seems worse. The veg pie is overloaded and lacks seasoning and spice. I want pizza and this pizza disappoints. However, it's cheap and you can people watch which is awesome to see the variety of people who stroll by. It's different from the outside all the time. I wish the pizza sauce didn't taste like straight tomatoes.
(2)Anthony T.
A really cool place to have a slice of pizza. Very taste and large portion makes this place one of my favorites. Was visiting there and had pizza in a few places this place blew away all the other places. The prices are reasonable 2. So my next trip to atlanta will be headed there again.
(5)Sabrina W.
I went into today with a friend and placed our orders. Well, our orders took a long time to get to us. The pizza was hot but kind of greasy. The waiter didn't come by to ask us if we needed a refill of our drinks which kind of irked me. The atmosphere is stuffy and casual. The pizza is good even if a bit greasy. Ill just do a to go order next time.
(3)Mary Frances J.
Little Five Pizza used to be exactly like the Fellinis that was here previously -- same menu, same artwork, same everything. But in the last year or two it's totally tanked. The salad is the same ol' Fellinis classic, but I'm pretty sure the pizza is frozen. Total crap. I think I've had better on an airplane. They also ask for a tip at the register, which is lame. Try Savage instead.
(2)N L.
Great pizza! The staff is friendly. Some of the best pizza I've tasted!
(5)Dee B.
Being a New Yorker I was NOT impressed. The service was ridiculously super ridiculously SLOW... all I ordered was ONE regular slice of pizza and waited 20 minutes! The pizza was not even worth it.. tastless and burnt.. no flavor at all. To top it off the regular cheese slice was $4.
(1)Chelsea R.
I don't like the way the night person makes the pizza. Too much cheese over the veggies. Any other time it's amazing.
(3)Imani L.
This place is loud-- so loud that you have to yell over the (rock?) music. No matter though, the pizza is good and cheap so I can dig it. I got the spinach and mushroom. The waiter gave my pizza to the wrong person and I scored a free slice without even being mean about it. Cool staff.
(4)Antranise N.
Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love the pizza! The best pizza I have tried since moving from New York. Paired with a cold Sweetwater (or 2) :-) The service is slow as heck and the bathroom is uhhhhh.
(4)Therealladyof L.
If you're a fan of super thin pizza, this place isn't really for you cos it's not super thin.
(3)BJ J.
Pizza make me feel some type of way!! Great stuff here. Do it right and eat outside and enjoy the scenery. Just watch out for crackheads and homeless folks lol Hit me up if you have any questions!!
(5)Mela L.
If you have taste buds & if you had NY Pizza, this pizza doesn't cut it. The only similarities with NY Pizza is the big greasy slices other than that, so flavorless. Crazy. & The Music.. sometimes sounded like the devil chanting. IDK, this spot was kind of cray.
(2)Melanie T.
A decent slice. I got the Veggie Pizza with mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, both black and green olives. The crust was thin and crispy. There was very little red sauce and it was clear that they had taken a regular cheese slice topped it with the veggie toppings and added more cheese. Oh well. The olive were the regular canned, but I was fine with that. They were still tasty. The tomatoes were juicy and fresh. I just wish the sauce had been more plentiful or at least more flavorful. It was pretty standard slightly sweet pizza sauce. The cheese was pretty bland, but nice and gooey. All in all a pretty good slice.

Given that L5P Pizza has the EXACT same menu as Fellini's, right down to the actual menu artwork and food-delivery system, I can't help but compare. So here's how it stacks up. -I ordered my usual Fellini's order: a salad and a slice of spinach and feta with a Diet Coke. On my most recent Fellini's trip this set me back a smidge under $10. Here? $7.70. Holler. -I think that was because the salad was a little smaller and they had two sizes available. No worries, it was still plenty. -L5P has old school arcade games. Fellini's does not. -They both have splendid patios perfect for people-watching. -They both have friendly staff, well, not all the time. -I'm no pizza connoisseur, but my slice here was *slightly* better than the typical Fellini's experience: less floury char, if that makes any sense (it's okay if it doesn't.) -Even if you order "for here" at L5P, your drink comes in a styrofoam cup. Boo for evil styrofoam and lack of old school dark red hard plastic Coke cups. But what really seals the deal for me is that this is in walking distance, Fellini's is not. I'll be back.
(4)Tom N.
The pizza is just like Felini's, and from what I was told, this place used to be a Felini's. It's a great place to go after you've been to a bar in the Little 5 Points area.
(4)Ana G.
Excellent pizza. I paid this little place a visit in between bars during SantaCon. My boyfriend and I needed a bite to eat in between our little drinking bender. Anyway, we ordered a few slices of Hawaiian pizza and after about 15 minutes we got our order and we were extremely pleased. The crust was nice and crunchy with an excellent flavor... no sogginess found in this pizza... excellent and totally scrupmtious! The toppings in our pizza were ham, pineapple and some really yummy mozzarella that was really cheesy. In terms of the ambiance, this place has character. It kind of reminded me of Little Italy in Athens, but with much better pizza. One of my favorite parts of this place were the bathroom doors: The women's restroom was painted with Jodi Foster's likeness as seen on Taxi Driver. The men's had DeNiro's likeness also from Taxi Driver. I honestly thought those murals were totally bad ass. The inside of the bathrooms, however could have been a bit cleaner. The staff was a little unfriendly at the beginning, but once I tipped him (to which he seemed a bit surprised) his attitude changed completely and was very helpful and attentive. Anyway, love this place, the ambiance is a little grungy but it totally has character and the pizza, well it is outstanding. I will def come back when I return to the area.
(4)Jenna H.
We ordered pizza on our honeymoon. It was the first time I ate cheese after five years of veganism. I was six months pregnant. My stupid body wanted cheese. Now, we are pizza fiends. I've probably eaten hundreds of pizzas with my husband. Never leave me alone in a room with cheese on bread. So naturally, I gravitate towards this place. I like it. They put up with my squirmy infant even though most of the clientele seems to not have yet entered that child-bearing phase of their lives. The slices are huge, thin and greasy, New York style. I am a pizza snob, and I love it. Crowd feels like San Francisco, where I moved here from. Lots of cool outfits and chill, laid-back atmosphere, lots of people hanging out like they don't have anything pressing to do. Very refreshing.
(5)Abby V.
Delicious and pizza and fun ambiance. They also have huge slices. At most by-the-slice pizza places, 2 slices is a good amount for me, but in the future I might only get one here if I wasn't super hungry because they are so big and filling.
(5)Lindsey P.
There are so many pizza places in Atlanta, but this is one of my absolute favorites. First of all, it's as cheap as they come for food and beer! Great patio for my dog and I to people watch. Super convenient right in the middle of l5p. I always get cheese with banana peppers and a beer! And I always choose to tip the guys, so with tip my total is about $9. Killer deal.
(5)Brittany T.
Great pizza! Big slices, lots of topping choices. I usually get the spinach and mushroom slice (ONE is all I can eat). We used to drive an hour to eat here. Ha! Now we live 15 minutes away and it's our "staple" pizza place. If we feel like pizza, this is where we go!! We like to walk off our pizza by checking out all the shops in Little 5 Points. The bathrooms could be cleaner, but it's Little 5, who cares? :))
(4)Ashley B.
I really like L5P pizza. It reminds me a lot of a place in NorCal that I used to frequent, in Santa Cruz and Palo Alto. It's not really New York pizza, but it's good and it's served in a fun and funky setting. The crust isn't thin and floppy like New York pizza, it's thicker and crispy because it's reheated in the oven, and while I love floppy thing crust, the not-too-thick crispy crust here is just fine. And the sauce and cheese are really good, so that is a solid 2 for 3 in the Holy Trinity of Pizzianity. Mainly, I like L5P pizza for its cheapness and atmosphere, which is very punk rock. Plus! Arcade games! Which, really, belong in a pizza joint. It's a fun place to grab a solid, reasonbly priced bite and beer. THE END.
(4)Sharnae M.
The pizza it's self is great...Its hot fresh and I get to watch the guy play with my dough lol It seems like a nice dating place...we enjoyed it...the pizza ran a little bit and was too hot to eat so i had to wait but all in all it was great!!! i even brought some slices home!
(3)Bethany R.
L5P Pizza used to be the perfect neighborhood pizza, but in the last 18 months it continues to go downhill. Salads are good (old Fellini's style), but the slices are dry and bland and taste like elementary school cafeteria pizza. And now, the cashier asks if you want to add a tip anytime you pay w debit/credit card...and that's just poor form. Sigh.
(2)Zeb M.
Little Five Points Pizza was our last stop on our trip to Atlanta. We were already in L5P and I love pizza, so that makes a winning combination, right? I enjoyed my meal and I dug the atmosphere, but service was mediocre and the prices were higher just because of the area. I would probably go again if I'm in L5P, but it's not as outstanding as some reviewers make it out to be.
(3)sonny h.
this is my favorite pizza joint. Great pizza and salads with a nice draft beer. the staff has always been extremely friendly and inviting. forget the slice, get a whole pizza and save some for later.
(5)Kwame O.
One of my buddies introduce me to this place this summer. It's a great place to grab a slice of what ever you want pizza and a pitcher of sweetwater 420. They have out side seating do you can grab a smoke or just watch all the drunk pp go by in five points.
(4)Cassandra M.
This place is definitely a DIVE. One slice is all you need, it's HUGE. You order at the counter and they bring your slice to your table. The slice is decent, hot, served quickly and it's filling. If I'm in 5 points, I'd go back.
(4)Annie L.
Pizza was fantastic. Huge slices. I got a pineapple and mushroom slice---it was great. Very cheesy, gooey, and crunchy in all the right places. I was a little uncomfortable with the atmosphere. Some chick came in here basically asking for our food. Make that VERY uncomfortable atmosphere. But again, the pizza is great.
(4)Liz C.
Liz, just go ahead and pick up your jaw off the floor. Just do it now and get it over with. Come to terms with the fact that people have given Little Five Points Pizza astonishingly good reviews and just move on with your life. Shhh...it's going to be okay... Seriously, folks? This pizza is not great. It's not even what I would call good, especially if you're ordering by the slice. Their slice consists of a piece from an ancient slice pie that's then sprinkled with mozzarella cheese and your choice of toppings. As a pizzeria veteran, I know that this is common practice with slices, but at Little Five Points Pizza, the results remind me of elementary school cafeteria pizza (and not in a good and nostalgic kind of way). Yes, there are some cute little tables outside. And yes, it has that special L5P vibe (but, um, so does every other food joint in the neighborhood). But overall, it's just way overrated.
(2)Jenn D.
Wen were standing in a long line at L5P Pizza before a show and Hubby D says to me, "I'm not sure we're going to get a table, should we go somewhere else?" But no, we didn't because Little Five Points Pizza is magic and tables always open up right when you need them. Unless you have a party of like 10 and then you're probably screwed. The pizza is more than decent and there are cheap beers. It's a great place for starving musicians to stop in and grab a bite after soundcheck, too. Ah, the memories.
(4)Jeremy A.
I'm not a huge fan of this place, the Sicilian was pretty doughy and there was almost no cheese on it. The regular slice was ok but ive had better. The cheese tasted a little off to me as well on both slices. Friendly folks work here but in my opinion you're better off walking to Savage if you are in the area and looking for Pizza.
(2)Celina L.
Hands down the best pizza in the whole state! I love this place. Cheap pitchers, and good eats. Can't ask for anything else. A lot of toppings to choose from and all of them are fresh. Seats are always available in the day time. But around 9-closing time, it's pretty packed. Which is to be expected since it's small and L5P has a few venues, but I always seem to have no problem finding a table. Besides the pizza, I love the bathrooms. The things people write in there is hilarious. But that's all of Atlanta. Nothing too special there. Service is alright. Can't really complain, but there isn't anything memorable about it, either. Overall, great place to hang out, meet up with someone, or eat after a show.

This place is an institution! I remember coming to eat here the first time I was in L5P well over a decade again. It hasn't changed a bit. Honestly the pizza is very average. It has nothing on a NYC slice. For Atlanta though it's definitely alright in my book!
(3)Nesa T.
This is the best pizza ever! Try a slice & it will change your life!! I got the spinach and mushroom slice with Italian sausage. Perfection! Made fresh to order. The only bad thing is that the music is way too loud! To all you New Yorkers who say this is not authentic, who cares? This pizza is good as h e double hockey sticks!

The service is never great here, but I love their white pizza. A slice and a side salad fill me up, and they have a slim but dependable beer selection. If you're lucky enough to get 1 of the 6 patio tables, Little 5 Points is a cool neighborhood to sit back and relax in (AKA people watch). This is one of my "go to" pizza places.

Pizza is good; service is a little laid back for my speed.

Oddly this is my brothers FAVORITE pizza on Earth. Personally I'm not the BIGGEST fan. I mean... i like it but I hear there are much better places. Personally I like Corner Pizza on Ashford Dunwoody WAY better. Anyhoo the pizza is good, definitely worth trying. And its in a GREAT location for people watching. So just order your pizza..get a table outside and enjoy the people watching. Not to mention its really convenient to all the shops and the variety playhouse. And the employees are all really nice which is a plus. And they usually have good tunes going. On the music note. I heard one employee tell another to turn the music down (some screamo band) right when a family with kids walked in. I thought that was super cool of them. 5/365 #Yelp365

I know what I am about to right is blasphemy to most Little 5 people, but I prefer this place over Savage Pizza. I know its weird, but since its hard for me to make it to Little 5 Points all the time, I prefer to spend my time in Wax and Facts, or Criminal Records, and getting a tattoo, and this place doesnt take a lot of time waiting around for the pizza. Not like Savage does either, but its faster here I think. The pizza is always fresh, and crispy. Never floats with grease, keepin it clean. And its just an awesome place to sit off the main sidewalks and people watch. Who doesnt like that? If you ever catch me down in the area, look for me here. #Yelp365 17/365

The place has a hipster dive type feel to it but its not overwhelming or uncomfortable. I order a slice and was pleasantly surprised when I saw that it was as big as my head [and I have a big head] lol It was awesome and very budget friendly. I will be going back as soon as I can.

I really wanted to like this place. I'm new to Atlanta and love the Five Points area. It smelled good, but the place was really dirty. The bathrooms were disgusting, and the ladies room was completely out of soap. That always scares me, although, in fairness, all of the employees were male. After alerting them to the situation, I opted to wash my hands in the men's room (yikes - even worse than the women's). Anyway, my dining partners did think it was tasty. I lost my appetite and was underwhelmed with the gelatinized looking cheese and sauce with raw toppings placed on top. I'm not sure I will give this place another try...

Decor? Great. Ambiance? Great. Music selection? Awesome. On a non-crowded day, this is a great place to bring a book while you sit down with a slice and a beer. The pizza is decent, though it isn't particularly quick in coming; I've had to wait ten minutes for a slice on a slow night more than once. There's usually a line out the door on weekend nights, so you may want to order your slice over the phone and then come on ion. The Austin Powers pinball machine has been cleared out to make way for a video game, which is a much less entertaining waiting-for-pizza option.

I LOVE the Calzones! Best in the City!
(4)Joseph D.
I stopped by here on a holiday so I expected it to be busy and that my order may take a little while. I didn't realize it would take nearly 45 minutes to get one freaking slice of pizza. It was busy of course, but it wasn't packed by any means. The pizza itself was good. I got the slice with everything and it was piled high with toppings. All in all, the price was good for what I got and the food warrants a repeat visit but hopefully next time I won't be waiting forever.

I know this is really ambitious... But this PIZZA in Atlanta is the ISH! I mean SHIT! I am talking freaking great. First the crust NOT CRUSTY, CRACKERY,WET, WEAK or tasteless. The CHEESE is WHOLE MILK MOZZERELLA. I dare ya to challenge me on that. The sausage MMMMMMMM MMMMMM MOtha FREAkn good. This place has it down pat. After 18 years of suckazz Atl pizza, finally some worth cussing about. I thought Savage was good, well maybe the location and a little more on the atmosphere. But if you want some SHO NUFF AUTHENTIC PIZZA. Stop it right here. NOW lets talk about the atmostphere. Imma need you to put on your beer goggles and get over it because there is no ATMOSPHERE. They really just need a bar an it would officially be called a DIVE BAR. They sell cheap beer and Pizza. I have not ordered the LAsagna but saw it coming out of the over and thought about pulling out my inaginary gun and holding them up for it. That looked AWESOME too. I made a mental note to order some. The folks there are not the best personality but who cares its take out. The regular grungy ass, artsy fartsy, weirdos in Little Five which makes an interesting scene to observe while you are enjoying the BEST DAMN PIZZA Atlanta has to offer!
(5)Joshua B.
Good food. Disinterested staff.
(2)Amanda G.
It's a pizza joint. No it's no NY pizza, but you can get a slice and put whatever you want on it! Hurrah.
(4)Kevin D.
While on a choir tour with my college, my friends and I stopped by to grab dinner. I mean this place is just OK. The prices of the food here would lead one to think that it's more than just OK, but trust me when I saw that it's just OK. OK? The service was average. There were many times where I had an empty glass of water and waiting for the waitperson to come and refill it. They offer a lot of variety of pizzas here, but it's nothing special. Is it better than Pizza Hut? Sure, but that's not really saying much. Try another place; I'm sure this hipster neighborhood has a lot more to offer than just OK food.
(3)Michael C.
You know, I once saw a guy get shot in this place. Guy just walked up, pulled a gun, and shot someone eating in the outdoor area that later became a police station. The shooter walked to a bar around the corner and had a beer. But that was the old L5P, and this was still Fellini's. The first restaurant in Atlanta that served a decent beer. Pizza is always good, and inexpensive. I didn't notice many changes in the food, service, or atmosphere when the ownership changed. Grungy as ever, and nothing upsets me more than a clean pizza joint. We had some wild times in that building. Kind of an Atlanta institution. Will always go back when visiting just to see what's happening in town.

Okay, I want to just say that if you dont like real pizza, you may not like this place. the sauce is yummy and not laden with sugar like the chain restaurants that make pizza. the toppings are definitely fresh...you order a pizza with sausage, you're going to get actual pieces of sausages, not the little round balls you get elsewhere. pizzas are made to order and our chef was so nice and friendly. also, he did such a good job on our pizza, i found him outside taking a break and tipped/thanked him for such a delicious pie. i'm afraid to return because i don't want to eventually have a bad experience. lol. but, i'm sure i will. this place is really good. there is no parking, you're better off parking in the space on Euclid for little five points and walking around enjoying the sights and sounds of my favorite area to be....
(5)Jennifer s.
This place is part of my daily routine. I stop in for occasional munchies, and make it an every day deal to say hi to the staff. Their pizza is awesome, always piled with toppings, always quick, and always tasty. And the people who run the place are all really awesome. It's so rare to find a place that's good, that I can afford, and where I can have a real intellectual conversation with any one of the staff. In fact, they get to know the regulars, learn their names, stop for conversation when they see you out in the square, and as Mike proved at Java Lords a few nights back, can even take the time to join in a late night conversation over some good coffee or a steep pitcher of tea. Classic tunes always blasting, a good size patio, comfy seats, entertaining bathroom wall graffiti, affordable beer, tasty pizza, what's not to love? They're simple, and fun, and definitely my favorite local pizza joint .
(5)Vanessa P.
Good, tasty, big pizza pies for pretty good prices! Eclectic menu too! Grab it to go if you can cos the inside of this place is kinda cramped.
(5)Tim D.
I'm pretty sure this is a Fellini's kiosk. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to pizza - sicilian slices and cheap beer. L5PP does both of these things very well. Good people watching, a decent salad and surprisingly kid friendly given the geography. I go here at least once a month on average and it's consistently good, only the tattoos and piercings change.
(5)Travis B.
if there's such a thing as a dive pizza joint, this is it. the pizza is good, not great, and the staff is the essence of L5P. "uber hip, i'm better than you and your money, you don't deserve my time because you succumbed to the man...etc", but as long as no one is bothering me for loose change, i don't care. i didn't consider that i'd be hosting 2 other couples both with kids under 3 years old, and it was jolting to order with death metal blaring on the loudspeakers. the best part about this place? the bathrooms that are covered, every square centimeter of it, with graffiti. i liked fellini's better but i always feel like i'm super cool when i go here.
(4)Greg S.
Great calzone, If you like garlic they hook you up! Excellent pizza, calzones are about a foot long served with a bowl of marinara. Great music, friendly staff. Hit it up if you in Little 5. Little bit of a wait, but you will be happy when you get your food. Plenty of items to add on your pizza or in your calzone.
(4)Pamela M.
I'm diggin it! Its pizza and it is what it is. Everybody simply can't make it happen. I like ordering by the slice when I am out and Lil 5 is pretty generous with the toppings + they have some funky pizza's with odd toppings. Its fast, fresh and hot and while you wait you can sit on their make-shift patio (street version) and view your surroundings as they are always interesting to say the least. The place is dive'y, lots of tatt'ed up folks working, some friendly some not so much. They have booth like seating and I usually stop in when in the area and have the taste for pizza. I like Lil 5 better than Fellini's.
(4)Ilana S.
We waited 15 minutes, went to check on our slices and the Manager, who also makes the pizza, said "whoops - i didnt start on your order yet". It was beyond ridiculous - they hardly apologized and there wasn't even anyone in there besides a table already eating. Complete joke. It was obvious they could care less.
(1)Amy V.
I went here after the L5P Halloween Parade...it was packed! Two of us got into line while the rest of the group grabbed a table. (we lucked out with the large front table by the window!) While standing in line we ordered our pizza "to go" on the phone. By the time we got to the front it was ready to go! The perfect solution if you don't want to wait. The pizza was amazingly good. The cheese and topping were well balanced and very flavorful. The atmosphere was very "L5P." And by that I mean it was kickback and fun.
(4)Dominic D.
This place epitomizes the vibe of Little 5. Anyone who is familiar with the area knows the prevalent demographic and the accompanying attitude, and that's exactly what you get here. No frills, minimal cleanliness, yet good food for the price. For the guy/DEA agent who was demanding drug tests for every employee: this ain't Mayberry, buddy. Get back in your H2 and go back to Forsyth County where you belong. It's not the best pizza I've ever tasted, but the price is right. Nice and thin, and never short on the grease. The place is in a great location and has plenty of outdoor seating. Perfect for a warm day.. just grab a couple of slices and a cold drink of your choice and you're set. One last note: it's a $7 minimum if you're paying with a card. Two slices with one topping on each plus a coke = $7 even. Nice.

A hip local pizza place in Little Five Points, that serves good pizza. I ordered a caesar's salad and slice of pineapple pizza and the total came out to be around 6-7 dollars, so the pricing is nice as well. The caesar's salad was really good -nice, crisp, juicy, lettuce and the right dressing to salad ratio. My slice of pizza was really good too -thin crust, and really good flavoring. I would have preferred that the pineapple was fresher, but i don't have much to complain about. The person I was with ordered sicilian slices, which are really thick crusted pizza splices. I tried some of his, which had great, fluffy texture, but I felt the excess bread overpowered the actual flavor of the pizza.
(4)Beauty A.
Short black hair on my crust. Should've checked it before I took it home. I was given to me in a Togo box so there's no way for a random hair to be on my slice :(
(3)Ryan W.
Ah, the "punk rock pizza place" as my friend calls it. Its a good place to have some cheap greasy pizza with a pitcher of PBR.
(3)Clare B.
This place has the best pizza in Little Five, and some of the best pizza in Atlanta, period. I used to live in Manhattan, so I know my pizza, and living next door to this place in L5P has given me plenty of chances to sample most of Atlanta's pizza places. Little Five Pizza still has the authenticity and bare bones deliciousness most of the other places lack. My neighbors and I stop here at least a few times a month. It's not fancy, it's not pretty, there's usually punk or metal blaring, and no one's going to smile and tell you to have a nice day. If you can deal with that, and hopefully you can, then you're going to get fresh, delicious pizza with great quality cheese, well made sauce, and a perfect crust. The garlic bread is also slathered in real butter, fresh garlic, herbs, and is to die for. The offerings are simple, digs aren't fancy, but it's a great place to stop after a night or when you're craving an authentic calzone. And it's cheap. A win all around. (For the people who keep saying the board here "looks like Fellini's"- that's actually how independent pizza places in the northeast display food and prices and have been for decades. The actual types of pizza offered, other than old standards, are not similar at all to Fellini's, thank goodness.)

Came here after the Peachtree Road Race for some major carb re-loading...and wasn't disappointed. We were so hungry we thought we could down 2 slices each of the Supreme, but who were we kidding? When the slices came out, we knew we had ordered waaay too much food. the slices were piled high w/ everything you can think of: meatballs, sausage, ham, pepperoni, olives (lots of it!), and all the fixins...YUM-O! I liked the medium crust, although I'm a huge fan of thin crust pizzas. I think next time I'll go w/ the more conservative, plain pepperoni pizza. I had to eat this thing w/ a fork there were so many toppings! I like this place better than most pizza joints I've been to in town, but still doesn't beat Kind Pie..btw have they reopened yet?? Oh and special thanks to the staff who worked late on July 4th!! great service here!!
(4)Shawn W.
Eating at Little Five Points Pizza I notice few differences between here and Fellini's. This is truer to the original than the original Fellinis, which in my opinion, have evolved. Going there is like stepping back to 1992. Pizza slices are good value and average quality, and menu is appropriately limited. I wish they'd put the drink fountain within customer reach instead of behind the counter, but soft drink refills are free. If Fellini's is a 30-year old that holds down a respectable day job and does her art at night, L5PP is her younger sister that drugs, drinks and lives hard, has fun, goes to clubs, sees and meets bands after shows and goes to art school (or is working for $8.00/hour to put herself through art school). Sorry, the comparisons are inescapable.

Ahhh yes, a pizza joint that any good God loving Christian would be happy to dine in....NOT! This is Satan's palace, people, and while that didn't bother me one slick of a lick, what did was the following scenario that I really tried hard to block out of my memory all night, but I feel like it should be noted. So we ordered our slices and grabbed a booth towards the back of the joint. I had a great view of the kitchen goings-ons and while chatting with my friend, i happened to look over and see one of the pizza chefs sniffing his own armpit. He then proceeded to wipe this armpits with both hands over his shirt and then went back to.....making pizza. I seriously wanted to lose it, vomit and leave but I hoped that ours was being made my the other guy. Major case of denial is bliss here, but yeah, after seeing that, there is no way in hell I would come back here again. And since this is Satan's Sweaty Armpit Pizza Lair, double on the not coming back., Ick.

Sorry, kids, but Fellini's was better...way better. This place is a joke. Crappy crust is, honestly, the culprit. Fellini's did a pretty creditable job of replicating NYC-style crust. L5P Pizza does not come close. I'll still come here for a slice and a beer, especially on a warm winter day when you can still sit outside (and believe me, this is no small luxury if you've spent most of your adult life in Chicago and NYC) but I just can't bring myself to care as much as I used to. Fellini's meant something in a cheesy way, both mozzarella-related and otherwise, to vaguely indie kids in Atlanta, but this just isn't the same. And yeah, L5P's crust still sucks, whether you add nostalgia or no nostalgia into the mix.
(2)Foster K.
If ever a pizza place perfectly matched it's neighborhood, it's here. No fluff, greasy pizza served on wax paper with an aluminum platter; but it does what it supposed to do and goes great with a beer. Too bad the space wasn't a bit bigger, it feels a bit cramped in the booths and outside isn't usually an option (even in L5P folks need to be seen!). Bonus points for the bathroom, probably one of the 5 coolest I've ever been in.
(4)Matt C.
i dont know the history of this place, but as others have pointed out, it's basically a fellini's with a different name. not sure if they're owned by the same people, and if not, which business came first... but one thing is clear, if they aren't owned by the same people, this is a complete copycat restaurant. luckily, that's a really great thing for us consumers, because fellini's is awesome, and thus, so is l5p pizza. the vibe is the same, menu is the same, ordering process and service is the same, prices very similar, etc. i've been to fellini's countless times and l5p pizza only a handful. it's really good, though i have to say, in terms of pizza slices, fellini's has a very slight edge on them.
(4)Scott J.
Good for a quick slice. I went with a slice of the hawaiian - it was pretty solid. I'd go back if I'm in the area again, but wouldn't make a special trip. I'd say it's a little better than Fellini's.
(3)Coley W.
Little Five Points Pizza is like CBGB's, but with pizza. Pretty good pizza, actually. Oh, and there's no live music. So it's pretty much just a rundown pizza place filled with dirty, angsty kids with torn stockings and mohawks. If that's your bag, rock on. If not, Savage Pizza is right next door and is a little more sanitary and (slightly) more adult.
(3)Sheri P.
I come here every time I am in the neighborhood. It is a great place for groups and I am usually with 5 or more people. We love to walk around all the vintage shops! Walk up, order a pizza and beer, sit down with your friends and have fun. The pizza is super good. The crust is medium, not thick or thin. I always get somethin veggie and I have yet to be disappointed. Little 5 has changed a lot in the last 10 years, some for the better bc I am not so scared to walk around- still scared but not as much, the only problem is all the fancy shops are moving in and taking over the cool local places I hold near and dear to my heart. Like the funny t-shirt place that usually has the shirt "I like rainbows but I'm not a Lesbian" or the Crystal place with all the cool rocks and books. 42 degrees is okay, sometime its good, sometimes its pricey and im like WTF, but for the most part pretty chill and approving. I just hope my favorite vintage and record shops are still there when I visit. L5PP is pretty good. Walk up, order pizza, sit down. Easy, simple, and good.

Pinball Report as of 5/2009. Still have the Austin Powers machine but it appears to have been serviced and has much better flipper action!
(4)Ant S.
Nothing too special about this place. The pizza was ok and they had beer. I did like the atmosphere and the prices compared to other places in L5P.
(3)Stanley S.
I love coming here! Pizza is cheap, and portions are huge and really good! Fresh ingredients, good service, nice atmosphere. I've been here more than a few times and pizza has been EPIC every time (once again, I'd like to emphasize the huge size for little budget, only about $3 a slice) Overall, whats not to love? Me and all of my friends will continue to come back to Little 5 Pizza :)
(5)Jules C.
Here's what I loved about this place: you can customize a slice of pizza! Normally, when you order a slice, you are restricted to cheese and pepperoni. Here, I could get a slice of pineapple, pepper, and onion pizza if I wanted. The pizza has a nice, thin crust, and is very tasty. The decor is funky, and the food is inexpensive. Everything you want from a pizza place.
(4)Dan D.
Fast, Good, and Always Interesting The setting at this place is great, a gathering place for all people that come to Little 5 Points. Excellent pizza on a shoestring budget and a nice atmosphere, not great for a date but good to hang out at and talk with friends!
(5)Rudy K.
I get drunk here and eat pizza, they always make me happy what can I say other than give em a try if you haven't.
(5)Vincent V.
The menu board still looks like a Fellini's menu, which makes me do a double take every time. The price is right though, and the pizza still delivers a lot of bang for your buck. I love the interior, especially the huge lit "Sans Souci" sign on the wall next to the tables(big enough to be on the side of a building or a big billboard). There's no discernible theme to the decorations on the walls, which I'm great with. The focus is on the pizza and a casual experience.
(4)Lori F.
Honestly the best pizza I've ever had (is it the dough?). Service is fast and friendly. Laid back atmosphere. All around good bet for pizza.
(5)Jo L.
i went here by myself on a lonely, rainy night for some cheesey solace. the people working were pretty unfriendly, i had to ask them if they were closed because the girl seemed to be glaring at me the whole time i ordered. she said they were still open so i shrugged it off and ordered a slice of the white pizza. i thought it was pretty good, (although i had been drinking and pizza always tastes good when you drink.) the unsmiling, unfriendliness of the place took away from the experience, but it's cheap and it's pizza so if you want it go there just don't expect to be treated like you matter.
(2)Shingo B.
i love when the pizza is warmed in the oven. the white pizza is one of the best ones they have. love eating here when i'm in the area
(4)Allison H.
I've had a very turbulent relationship with L5P over the years. First time I ever went there, a friend and I walked out because of the "fuck you" attitude of the person at the counter. I didn't go back for a couple of years because of this. I hear Mike has recently replaced nearly all of his old employees, which is disappointing, as I got great service every time I was there other than the first. As for the pizza, their slizz of chizz is nothing to write home about. It's fantastic if you're drunk (but isn't anything?), but the way to go if at all possible is to order an entire pie. they make these fresh, and it tastes exponentially better. Their white pizza is fantastic, and they have some of the cheapest beer in Little Five Points. I absolutely adore this place on a rainy day when it's empty, but it becomes a bit of a haven for hood rats on Friday and Saturday nights. I can't stress it enough though: don't diss on the 'ZA until you've ordered a whole one.
(4)Brittany W.
really good pizza try the veggie supreme or whatever its called takes forever for them to make the shit though the pigeons that hang out outside are nice folk as well give those guys a cig.. and they should fly away lol i digg it
(4)Margo R.
This pizza is hit or miss. It might come fresh out of the oven, delicious and just right. Or it may taste as if it sat out over night and was popped it in a microwave for 20 seconds. I am not a huge fan, but I will have an occaisonal slice of pizza here. I recommend sitting outside because the interior of the restaurant is rather claustrobic.
(3)Three M.
This place is where the old Fellini's used to be. If you lived in Atlanta in the '80's/'90's and skipped school to go to Little 5, you know how important Fellini's was. So now they changed the name (under new ownership) to Little Five Points Pizza, but the inside is exactly the same as it was when it was Fellini's! It's kind of weird. You're at Fellini's, but you're not. It's sort of off-putting. In a way it's an appropriate way to pay homage to how confused and stoned I probably was when I used to go there as a wee lass. The pizza is okay, but not as good as Fellini's was. If you're in Little 5, stop in for a slice and a bit of shanghai-ed nostalgia.
(3)mookie b.
it just seems to me if you have and advanced race of alien/humanoid creatures from the plant zebulon making pizza they could use some type of technology to get my pizza out with 1 hour!!!!! no lie , i waited 1hour and 15min on a saturday afternoon for 2 slices of mushroom!!!and the some fellow that could have stepped straight off the set of alien vs predator requiem with a transparent exoskeleton for skin slammed the pie on the table and offered no refill!!! just bogus!!
