This used to be my favorite place for takeout when I was not in the mood for cooking, because their food is so tasty and natural, it was like not eating takeout! I know they went "Kosher" recently, and I have only tried to go for takeout since then, but when I placed my order for 4 people, and she said "that will be $67", I thought I had mis-heard, surely! So I said excuse me, how much? Nope, I had not mis-heard at all! They have jacked up their prices ridiculously, and have lost me as a customer, and all the people I had recommended to go there. I hope their gain in "Kosher" customers makes up for their loss in regular customers. I will not be back, which makes me unhappy, as it was 1 less night of cooking for me :( P.S. I have no issue with their food, it's great!

Very yummy wood grilled meats (and ALL gluten free). We ordered family style and tried many good dishes. We really liked the skirt steak and the grilled tilapia, although the spicy was too hot for others. We also enjoyed the grilled sausage. We got assorted sides to share that we all liked. Asparagus and the Grilled Yucca were the tops, the french fries were also well liked. The food might not have been the most adventurous, but the restaurant was very, very accommodating for those needing a gluten-free diet. We were told that all of the entrees and sides and most of the rest of the items are gluten free. Everyone was very helpful and the service was extraordinary.

I spent most of the time trying to figure out how the owner was maintaining profitable ratios. The prices here are very reasonable. Max price for a bottle of wine is 22 bucks. As my central american gf scrapes her plate she says..."I feel like I was eating at home." We both inadvertently ordered the skirt steak with "The Latin" side(we like to share different dishes). The steak and sides were good. I didn't realize they didn't ask me how I wanted my steak until I was halfway through it. But they obviously marinate the steak so even if it is slightly well done it should remain tender. But it does seem they as if they attempt to obtain medium well. They are surprisingly health concisous as well. I think that's pretty cool. I may have to, actually, try quinoa now. I give it 4 stars because I can walk there. If you're in the area it's a nice casual choice.

My family and I just drove across town to try this place out. We were excited to try out the menu especially since they offered so many gluten free choices. My wife and I both had teh Churassco, I had with the health nut sides, my wife with the latin. The skirt steak was grilled to perfection and the sides were perfect. We thought it was a great value for $10. We ordered the kids plates for my kids, one grilled fish, one steak and one hotdog. The kids finished everything on their plates and especially liked the black beans with rice. This restaurant offers delicious food for a great price. We will definitely go back as soon as we get a chance.

I turn to the Birthday Boy and ask: "If we were on one of our excursions in Rio or Buenos Aires right now, and we were sitting in this restaurant, eating this food and drinking this wine, how would you feel?" His answer: "Happy as a pet pig in Midtown." And that's pretty darn happy. Speaking of pig, there's none on this menu. It's a nod to Udi the owner's health-oriented wife and the area's Jewish population (along with some kosher wine). This interesting grill concept is well-executed and primed for expansion, based on our first outing. Restaurants that specialize in grilled meats are as ubiquitous in South America as the Golden Arches in the Fried United States. Choose your protein at Fuego Mundo, and it makes its way to the grill. We, being avid fish eaters, ordered the corvina (a Peruvian fish) and the grouper. Crisp at the edges, perfectly seasoned, moist and flavorful. Then pair your protein with any number of sides, ranging from baked (not fried!) plantains to yellow beans and rice to roasted potatoes or quinoa (yes, quinoa!) And when was the last time you saw quinoa on a menu? The Twelfth of NEVERLAND? And speaking of Neverland...where in Atlanta can two people enjoy a nice piece of fish, unique side dishes, a modern and ultra-clean environment, friendly service, an entire bottle of wine and still get out the door for $55 including tip? That's TWO people TOTAL. Nowhere in Atlanta, that's where. Except here. This food is very good. And there's a wine list that TOPS OUT at $6/glass and $22/bottle, earning this restaurant an immediate placement on my List (check it out) of restaurants in Atlanta that don't require a second mortgage to enjoy the vino. My Yelp friends know that I never award 5 stars on the first review. I'm tempted here, given the price point and value. This is a new concept, folks, and I predict you'll see more of them - a family of Fuego Mundo's and their sure-to-be knockoffs. I'm reserving the 5th star for my 3rd trip that transports me to South America or, better yet, a Midtown location that does it just as goooooooood. Thanks, Udi - and please tell your wife that some of us hope she'll continue to influence you and your menu.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! This is the best restaurant in Atlanta. The prices are great, the service is awesome, and the food is delicious. The best part is their food is vegan friendly. I have told all my friends about this place. You won't be disappointed. I always get the fish, tilapia or salmon, love it. So good!!! The owners are super friendly and if you don't like something then they will change it for you. I wish every restaurant in Atlanta was like this place. Oh, my friend told me they have wine tasting events there every couple of weeks with a DJ and dancers. I can't wait to check that out, sounds like a lot of fun. Salud!!!

After driving aimlessly to find a place to eat early Sunday afternoon for Father's day. We came upon the restaurant inside the Joli-Kobi shopping center. Under the "Fuego Mundo" signage was Wood fired grill and immediately we were hooked. We checked out the menu outside the restaurant and immediately knew we liked what we saw. There were many choices of chicken, sausage, filet, and fish. All are cooked on the wood fired grill and their side dishes range from salads, beans, rice, and their signature plantain chips. Hubby got the filet with salad. I had the lunch special chicken pita ($6) which comes with side dish. Our lil one had the grilled hot dog with roasted plantains. They brought out the salad and hot dog. Hubby was very pleased with the salad which they went above by adding in roasted peppers and the house dressing was delish! Hot dog was grilled and very generous sized for ($4) which included side and a drink. Let me just say that our lil one is very picky when it comes to food. She can tell the difference in taste like no other. Well she immediately took a liking to the hot dog and actually finished! Wow! First time to finish her meal outside the home. Then followed our entrees.. filet cooked medium / medium well but still very juicy with tasty marinade. It's so yummy, i'll have to order that when I return. My pita was full of chunks of white breasted chicken but so moist. It was incredible. I would like to have more sauce inside but made up by the hot sauce on the tables. The plantain chips as our sides were very yummy. Hubby really likes the plantain chips sold at Trader Joes but these were incredibly fresh and crispy. They have a mix grill on their menu which includes all their meats (chicken, beef, sausage, lamb) with side dishes serving 3-4 for $44. We only wish we had more people so we could have tried this dish. They also have tapa menu that I wish I can come with gfs in the future to try out as well as their dessert menu. Mango pie( how tasty does this sound).

$16 for a "grilled" hot dog (fried on the griddle, more likely) with greasy "grilled" vegetables. Awful wine in a plastic cup. Terrible service. Overpriced. Never again.

PLEASE BE OPEN ON FRIDAY NIGHTS!!! Love the food here as most of the meats are spicy with a great grill flavor. Best of all, all the entrees and sides are gluten free. Unfortunately, it seems we always get the craving to go here on Friday night or an early Saturday dinner, both times of which they are not open.

We did a few u turns before finally finding Fuego Mundo because for some reason we didn't expect to find it in a shopping center amongst some box stores. We also didn't expect for it to look so chainish inside, but setting aside the asthetics the food was very tasty. The gluten free hoopla isn't what led me here as much as finding a restaurant whose menu states that all of it's sides are vegan. I had a well seasoned, grilled tofu steak along with some plantains, black beans, and rice all for $8. I'd definitely go back again when I'm in the area. The staff was also very nice.

Ventured to Fuego Mundo for lunch yesterday with a co-worker, after reading about it a week or so ago on Thrilllist. I'm a south Florida girl who loves Latin American flavors and cuisine, so as soon as I saw "woodfired South American food" in the subtitle of this place, I put it on my to-do list. We both had the lunch special--choice of grilled chicken, steak or tilapia in a pita with Plantain chips. We both went for the grilled chicken, and it was flavorful and delicious. I opted for no mayo (why sully Latin food w/ mayo?) and my pita stayed together fine. Co-worker, on the other hand, was not so lucky. I contend it was the mayo that made her pita fall apart. Anyway, the chicken was warm and wonderfully seasoned. The Plantain chips were crispy and had a nice flavor to be able to stand on their own w/o any salt or additional seasoning. Overall our lunch was satisfying, and neither of us left feeling over-full. I would def. go to Fuego Mundo again to try something larger for dinner and their sangria. It looked sooo tempting sitting on the counter, all ready to be drunk. If you're in the neighborhood, head to Fuego Mundo, but it's also worth the drive if you're not as close.

Can't opine on the food as I was just looking for espresso. Which they didn't have. So I bought sangria instead. Which was fine.

Original Review: One of the nicest new restaurants in Sandy Springs. Their food is spiced just right, though I'm not sure exactly what kind of cuisine it is. Not Mexican, just Latin I suppose. I really liked their tofu steak with rice and beans side. Atmosphere is really nice, and service is excellent as well. Only complaint is that the parking isn't that great. Edit: Food still good, but they have gone to an all kosher menu which means much higher prices for the same food. Also, not their fault, but my car was broken into in their parking lot.

Food here is very good. What a nice change of pace for kosher food. Lots of choices. Wish we had a kosher place like this where I live.

They have been open a week. The service is good, but can be a bit overbearing- might be due to the lack of customers. I was all they had to focus on. I liked the tilapia ceviche.. heavily peppered but i thought it was tasty. I really like the fact that they have some healthy options on the menu. I got the grilled tilapia which I thought was delicious, especially for a semi-fast food joint. I also got the health nut side option. The health nut gives you quinoa, black beans, and baked plantains as a side, plus some plantain chips with your meat/fish. I love that they have quinoa here which is one of my favorite sides. I also thought the black beans were delicious and the plantains were cooked perfectly. I was very impressed with my meal. It was a bit pricey for lunch like Emily said, but I got fish and 3 side for $12. I would have spent that much had I gone to 5 Seasons, which is right across the parking lot. I will definitely back to try there yucca fries and chicken skewers. -For you vegans and non-gluten eaters the menu says all entrees are dairy free, sides and veggies are vegan friendly, and most menu items gluten free. Also says tofu and veggies cooked away from meats and chicken.

I went on opening day, so was prepared for opening day snafoos, but it was overall a pretty good experience. When you walk in, you order at the counter and then seat yourself at one of the tables or booths or the bar height counter. There is also a nice little patio outside, but you only have a view of the parking lot, so that wasn't enough to tempt me on a hot June day. They give you a laminated card with different S. American places to put in the Toucan stand on your table so they know where to bring your food. I got Easter Island and enjoyed reading all of the factoids about it, I had no idea the Rapa Nui weren't given Chilean citizenship until 1966. I decided to try the turkey breast with grilled corn and sweet plantains on the side. I also was asking about the ceviche, what type of fish, etc. and they gave me a little sample of that. The ceviche was tilapia and pretty good, but tasted too strongly of the green bell pepper it was marinating with for my taste. I enjoyed the turkey, it was tender and moist with a good smoky flavor and I thought the marinade was pretty tasty, although a little too salty. The corn was out of season, so a little tough and not very sweet, but at least they used fresh corn, not frozen. The sweet plantains were tasty as were the fried plantain strips used to garnish the platter. Service was friendly and enthusiastic with everyone making sure that I was happy with my food. The only slight drawback was pricing, for lunch, a $10 entree is a little high as it wasn't overly filling and I didn't have any leftovers. They did have a pita sandwich special with chips for $6, but most everything else on the menu was $8 and up.

I had not been over to this area in quite some time to eat. I remember there was a Williamson Bros. near here back in the 90's. I think this location qualifies as OnTP. I went with the skirt steak and American sides. I regretted ordering the fires instead of the potatoes once I saw them, but the fries were still decent. I agree with the sentiment about it not being cooked to order. They did not ask me how I wanted it and I did not even think to ask for medium rare. It was still on the medium to medium rare side though. It was a weird that they had soda machines instead of waiters, but I prefer that method anyway. I drink a lot of water and I hate waiting for refills. Food was very good and I was glad they had corn. Seems like less and less places have it (I blame useless ethanol subsidies). I will definitely be back if in the area to get the potatoes;)

This is a new location, only been open about a month went we went a couple saturday's ago. The place is small when you walk in, there was a big group and a lot of the seats were reserved, so we sat outside. But i'm glad we did, it was beautiful out, sun was behind clouds, we were under an umbrella, had a nice little birthday dinner. It was very intimate. The view may have a parking lot, but you have a nice skyline and people to watch as they walk around as well. I really enjoyed it. The menu is not huge, its small and easy. Which this makes it easier when you have never been here before. Our group ordered the skirt steak with the latin side, and sirloin with the american side, and a choice between a citrus and burgandy sangria. I liked the burgandy the best, and have been craving one ever since! This was a nice breakaway from your everday mexican chain, yes I will be back!

We finally got in to Fuego Mundo since they changed their format. It was different, and there seem to be a few kinks to work out on the new format, but our dinners were tasty, they hang in at 4 stars, and we'll keep coming back. Both of us had the tuna, which is no longer a regular menu item. We both had a craving for it, so it was fortunate that it was a special tonight. A bit pricey, but again good enough, and complemented by nice service. And the sides were good too--lots of variety to choose from, including bok choi, quinoa, plantains, etc. Note that Fuego Mundo is now closed on Friday evenings and doesn't open on Saturday evenings until 10 p.m. Checking out their website, the indication is that they observe the Jewish Sabbath.

I am going to keep this short by saying that I love this place. Being a recent local to Atlanta, I am having a hard time finding new but good restaurants in my area (around Glenridge). I have to admit that I was skeptical when I first entered. It is set up similar to a fast food restaurant where you go to the counter to order but the smell of the wood-fire grill instantly pulls you in after getting over this distasteful fact. Without having to go through 4 pages of menu items at a sit-down restaurant, this place had its proteins identified and approximately 6 sides that were authentic to Latin American traditions (short and simple.. the way I like to be at a restaurant). In particular, I suggest ordering the hearty-healthy nut where you get quinoa, black beans, and fried plantains. I have never been to a restaurant taht cooks quinoa and was SO excited to have this as an option. In addition, they have other great sides such as grilled corn, roasted potatoes, wood-fire grilled asparagus, etc. I ordered the Ahi Tuna in a special sweet cream sauce but would also suggest ordering the wood-fire dark chicken meat. Both were equally incredible. Aside from the gluten-free, vegan, and organic menu, the selection of beers/wines also hit right on the spot. They are inexpensive. In particular, all of the sangria is homemade and the selection is all organic. My pinot noir was $6/glass. Two entrees, two side dishes, and two alcoholic beverages ran us $36... not toooo shabby!! Priced well for the wallet, this restaurant is definitely a HIT in the Sandy Springs - Glenridge - Rosewell area. I will indefinitely be back soon...

The "worlds greatest burger" is not. Small burger, skimpy sides and condiments, not worth the $8.50. Also, checked out other patrons portions and everything is way overpriced for what you get. Not coming back.

Mmmmm, melt in your mouth skirt steak, chilean sea bass, and the latin sides (plantains, rice, and black beans) made my gluten-free tummy VERY HAPPY. Service was friendly and the cute girls behind the counter were really cute ;) If only we had a place like this back home...

Fantastic place! Was in the mood for something new and different and stumbled into something great. Their wood fire grill sears a wonderful taste into the food. I can't imagine that you could be disappointed with any of the meats there. The wife had the chicken sausage and it was awesome. A little much to have sausage as your meat but combining it with my chicken was perfect. I had the chicken skewers with the #3 Healthy side or something like that. Don't miss out on Fuego Mundo. Oh, the tab was $20 and it was MORE than enough food. You just can't go wrong here.

Not being lazy it is just that Patrick C. on 7/26/2009 described our experience perfectly! Check out his thoughtful and thorough review. I will add this: Where in Atlanta can you get a tasty steak with wonderful sides (I had the Latin) for $10? Fuego is the only place I know of - and it tastes great!

This is such an awesome restaurant and my new favorite place. The food is great AND healthy. The chicken skewers are to die for and their side dishes are so yummy, you can't go wrong with any of them. Even my daughter says they have the best chicken nuggets. My ultimate delight is their white wine sangrias.

My wife loves this place so it has become our default choice of dining out. The food is fresh and healthy. I usually get the skirt steak or a burger. I have yet to come across a better burger in town. Food is cooked on a wood burning grill in sight. Friendly staff, the owner is around most times. Can't go wrong with Fuego.

We had five items on the menu and all were absolutely great. We randomly found this place because we wanted to try the bakery across the street but the selection did not live up to our expectations that webagimed from our trips to france. Great find.... Now fuego is in our top tier places!!!

I hate that my first-ever Yelp review has to be one star, but I just feel too passionate about this to not say anything. I moved into the area late last year with my fiance, and upon reading my fellow Yelpers so highly praising this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. And it was awesome. Granted, I do feel like we could have gotten a larger portion for the price, but it was still tasty and not too horribly expensive to pass up. The skirt steak was delicious, and I probably had the best chicken I've ever tasted here (another reason why I wish they would increase the portion size). We always ended up getting dessert, usually three Tres Leches (they were absolutely killer). On the 4th of July, we decided to go out to eat. We had originally wanted barbeque, but unfortunately, our restaurant of choice, Heirloom, is closed on Mondays. So, we came here instead, where what we thought was in the same family as Heirloom: slightly pricey but worth every penny. We walked in the restaurant and realized that they had changed the policy from ordering at the register to waiting to be seated. We were told we would be seated in 15 minutes, so while we waited, I gazed over the menu on the board above the counter. It took a second to realize that the skirt steak was no longer there, and another second to realize that I was looking at the lunch menu at around six in the evening. I had to ask the hostess for a dinner menu, and when I opened it up, I was flabbergasted. No skirt steak, and what steak they did have was $17.95?! (Unless that IS the skirt steak and they just gave it a different name). And a ribeye for $19.75?!? These prices are jacked up, meaning both that they increased and they suck. I guess it's because everything is Kosher now? I'm sure I would be less bitter about this change if it actually applied to me. I resolved to order off of the lunch menu, since I figured I could as the menu is still up there for everyone to see, but I was told by the hostess that I couldn't. I literally just stood there, thinking about just booking it. But she was kind enough to tell me that I could order off of the kid's menu, since it's much cheaper and it offers pretty good portions. So I opted for that. We ordered the Baked Beef Pastelito, which might have improved over time, or I forgot how good they were. The pastry is flaky and just melts in your mouth. They are a bit messy to eat, but so worth it. I ordered the kid's Grilled Steak for 7.95, which is a nice price for a steak, along with a veggie soup on the side. The steak was quite tasty, but fatty. The soup was interesting...some kind of oddly spiced broth with two big broccoli flourettes and a carrot slice. If I hadn't had the appetizer, my hunger wouldn't have been satisfied. My fiance got the $20 steak, because, it had to be amazing, not to mention hugely portioned, right? Being $20 and all? Wrong. It was good, but not worth $20 according to him. It was also about 1 cm thin and, again, fatty. We asked for a dessert menu, and guess what they don't have anymore? That's right, Tres Leches. So disappointing. I don't know what kind of nutjob decided to change this place so much, but we won't be returning for a while, if ever. We even had to decrease the tip amount to make up for the steep bill. Ugh. Also, it costs $1 to "Make it spicy." That doesn't sound like something I should have to pay for at a Southern American restaurant. So, if you're rich and require a Kosher meal and feel like some South American food, you should stop by. But since I am not rich, nor do I care about my food being Kosher, I am just going to have to forget about South American cuisine until I find a worthier place.

Place is definitely popular among the locals ! The food here was amazing ,healthy and taste great! I started out with the white sangria followed by another white sangria! LOL The Colombian bread made from yucca was delicious, yucca fries were like regular fries but texture ever so slightly different that the tongue instantly knows, the house special soup had so much flavor that I could not get enough ! The wings with mango salsa ! Let's just say my plate might qualified for a crime scene! Love it!

Fuego Mundo is pretty darn good but pricey for what you get. I can't afford as a student to sit down every lunch break and eat for $15-20, where's the deal in that? I see lots of Jews who frequent their business. It's kosher so I understand. Pretty much if it's good for their diet I feel it's good for me too. I love love the Pastelitos and side of black beans and plantain. I get pretty full. Overall it's good but I have better experiences with food at Marlow's right next door.

Food is good and service is great. The variety is good too. I like the fact that there is a seating area outside but I have never timed it right to sit outside. Places to work while you eat at the high top and I have done so several times even during busy times. No hassle. They have wifi too.

I gave three stars because the quality of food and food portion did not warrant the high price tag that came with it. It was $25 including tip for a meal that would have costed $8.00 at Pollo Tropical. The taste wasn't that much better either. Would go back for lunch but definitely not dinner it is totally not worth it.

One of my favorite places to eat on the Whole 30 and off the plan. We start with the yucca rolls which are insanely good but high priced (get 20 frozen to take home for $19.99).The steak and chicken skewers are always perfectly prepared and delicious. We love the roasted potatoes but the fact we only get five is a little funny. Yes 5. We are positive and hangry a lot when first stating the Whole 30. If either one of us is in the bathroom when the food comes, that pour soul usually ends up with 4 or less potatoes. Cucumber salad is great as well. The portions seem a little on the small side and the prices a little to high. We don't always find value there so we don't visit as often as we would like. They get four stars because everything is always good. They are consistently good. They lose a star for higher prices and smaller portions.

1st visit. Really wonderful. Unexpected solution to "where can we find a veg/vegan w/drinks brunch spot before noon" problem. White sangria, yucca fries appetizer (also a side), veggie burger with a side of grilled bok choy, and a vegan ice cream w/ amaretto & blueberries. Fabulous, every bite. Nice decor, excellent service, even a nice wood fire aroma. Brunch menu or all-day dinner menu. Big meat place but generous veg/vegan/gluten free choices. Our waiter, Ben, was adorable.

The food is amazing! The staff is so nice and helpful. A friend suggested this place and it's going to be my new dinner go to spot. My wife can't have gluten and most of the menu is perfect for her. What an awesome little gem right down the street from my house.

The food was good but the yuca fries were horrible. The waiter for the original order wrong and they argued as to the fact that we ordered wrong. On top of that my coworker ordered the tenders and replaced the fries for a cup of soup and the waiter offered the yuca fries as a combination option. As it turned out the waiter billed the yuca fries as if they were a separate order. When we disputed the charge she got her coworker to come over and explain that we were wrong. She goes to the back and gets the manager. He tells us that we are wrong and laughs and acts like he is doing us a favor for correcting their mistake. The staff is incompetent and rude especially the manager.

I ate the Colombian hotdog and Yuka fries both great. I will not do 5 stars cause it was a bit pricy and service was just ok. I had my check and my empty plate was not removed, I had to call server for refill, he did not check on me at all and it was not because the was busy because I came in at 11am when they opened, other than that, great food experience !!

Excellent catering options for our Kosher guests. We hosted a meeting with 10 (very picky) people and everyone mentioned how good the food was. The client said it was the "BEST chicken wrap" he has ever had. Personally, I enjoyed the plantain chips and salsa and the tasty steak wrap. Would definitely order again.

I met a gluten-free friend of mine here for a weekday lunch last week, as there are many options for her. I didn't object and found parking in the deck at the Prado shopping plaza, which has a door directly to the restaurant. Apparently, going through the door that is connected to the deck places you at the back of the restaurant and to order, you need to walk to the front to order and pay at the counter. Since I actually arrived before my friend (I am really working hard at trying to not be so late anymore and have had a few successes this year), I sat down at the chairs they have lining the window in the front, which is a courteous touch for patrons either waiting for dining mates or take-out orders. As I waited, I looked through the regular menu and the lunch specials and noticed that for the type of food, the prices were slightly higher than I was accustomed to for my midday meal. I took this to be because of the location of the establishment, which is in a shopping plaza that is shared by 5 Seasons Brewing, Joli Kobe, Genki, and Marlow's Tavern, among other restaurants and retailers. Once my friend arrived, we both ordered and paid separately. She grabbed a table outside as I was wrapping up my transaction. Though we dealt with it, our table was quite wobbly and after rocking a few neighboring tables, we decided not to budge as the other ones suffered from the same condition. Our food took about 15 minutes or so to come out. Not being able to refer to the menu now (website is down for about 2 more days for maintenance), I can only describe my dish as the lunch special with beef and veal sausage. Not sure why I was slightly surprised, but I was a bit when I saw that my sausage came pre-cut. The way that the meat was blistered, I assume that they do this before cooking it. I bet this is done to ensure thorough and rapid cooking and it was a non-issue for me. The sausage wasn't juicy but neither was it dry. I ordered yellow rice with black beans and grilled bok choy as accompaniments for my protein and found them to be decent. The rice was well-cooked and the beans were seasoned pleasantly. While I enjoyed my bok choy, I sort of wish they were a bit more interesting. Anyway, I would not be opposed to meeting another non-gluten eating person here for lunch, as there are plenty of choices that would assuage my hunger. For dinner, I'd have to go for something else, as there are many alternatives that are more to my liking, especially in this price range.

This place is in between a 2.5 and 3. We ordered a mixed grill which came with three types of meat (churrasca steak, chicken, and some type of hotdog) and came with rice and beans and we opted for yuca fries and a salad as our additional sides. For $50, the portion of meat should of been much larger. Taste was OK, but nothing incredible. I did like the crisp Yuca fries . Also the sangria was pretty good.

First of all the name of this place is so lame! I enjoyed the food but the service is horrible. Waiters never attend tables as they should and manager has the attitude of a busboy. Will not be attending this place ever again unless they restructure their staff and management. :)

I had a terrible meal at FuegoMundo. It took over an hour for our food to come out. When it did, the order did not come out correct. The waiter was not attentive at all. He never came to the table and asked if we needed anything. I had to stop the waiter on the way to other tables to let him know what our food did not arrive, that our drinks did not arrive (after they did not come to our table 30 minutes after we ordered them), that we wanted more water, that there were issues with the order and certain items did not arrive, etc. This was the worst service I had at any restaurant.

Sticker shock. First and only time I will go to this restaurant. It started with out ice tea arriving with three pieces of melting ice floating on top. The waitress didn'tknow to put more ice in it? The pastelitos were dry, as if they were microwaved. Got the chicken with mushroom and beef. The beef was a little moister. My red flag went up when the menu had "spicey add $1" huh? A dollar was added because I wanted yucca fries. Can't they just build that into the price somehow? I hate being nickel and dined. On a good note, my salmon and his burger were good. Our total bill with a tip was $60! This place is not good enough to earn my money.

I have a new favorite restaurant! Traffic was a nightmare so I decided to wait it out and have dinner. SO glad I picked Fuego Mundo. To start, they have Imperial beer. I have been looking for it ever since I visited Costa Rica years ago. The food was full of flavor abd the restaurant was clean and not too loud. My wife and I are dieting so I was glad to se GF items and hormone free chicken on the menu. It could be a little cheaper, but then again it is the Paso on Roswell Rd. Im more than glad to pay for great food, fast service and a clean restaurant. Try it!!! You will be glad you did.

I stopped in here for dinner with a girlfriend after an evening workout. It was late and we were starving. Marlows Tavern wasn't open yet, Taco Mac had a 30 minute wait (shocking!!!), and my friend did not have good experiences with 5 Seasons. We decided to pop in at Fuego Mundo at the last second. We got in a few minutes before 9pm. Apparently they close at 9, but we didn't realize it. They seated us without mentioning that they were closing. I felt a bit of sticker shock when we sat down. Most of the items on the menu were priced $15 and above. Not a big deal, but the portion sizes are tiny for what you pay. I ordered the fried chicken fingers and my friend ordered the appetizer sampler. The manager stopped by our table after we placed our order and informed us that since we came at closing time, one of the items on the appetizer platter was no longer available. He offered to sub out the meat item with hummus or a cucumber salad. My friend asked if he had another protein since this was her meal and she was planning on eating something with meat. He thought about it and offered to substitute another beef item. The food was blah. The chicken was grisly and lacked flavor. The best thing about my chicken and fries was the honey mustard sauce that came with the meal. My friend was disappointed with her items as well. I'm not sure if it was an off night or just how it is. I'll give it another chance if I'm in a bind for food options and nothing else in the Prado works.

***Total disappointment! To the owner: you have this amazing food & great taste but you want to kill it with your service staff? Get rid of servers that have no clue what is to be a great server and mainly please consider getting a more professional and great attitude manager! My girlfriends and I visited this place on our 1.0 hour for what was supposed to be a quick lunch and first time experience and we left thinking we will never come back. The waitress acted like she was in on a beauty pageant, she ruined our order and at the end we told her there was an error .. The manager approached our table with Attitude and doesn't even apologize for any misunderstandings, instead his angry bird face was all we got and "we will take care of this for this time" dude the server messed up? Whatever happens with the customer is always right ? Well there goes another " never come back .. #1 Treat your customers with respect and make them feel you understand #2 Teach your servers to Follow up on their tables .. Your staff is what represent the integrity of your business!!!

We were looking for a kosher restaurant to entertain guests, and found FuegoTierra on line. We were seated immediately, and service was good. I ordered the chicken skewers with rice, black beans, and plantains. One of my friends ordered the burger, and the other ordered the organic tofu and arugula salad. The chicken was good, and the sides good as well. My friend enjoyed the burger and fries. However, the salad arrived and we could not believe our eyes. It was the size of a small side salad, with a few leaves of arugula, a tablespoon of tofu, and maybe half a walnut. We even checked with the waitress, who rather ruefully confirmed that that was really what we ordered. This salad was $16.95, more expensive than either of the other dishes. They should be ashamed to charge that much for that salad. We had to come home and make my friend dinner. We won't be back.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE I am SO glad I came in here. The smell alone was delicious and I couldn't resist as we walked by. Once inside I noticed how clean and nicely set up it was. Went on a Sunday with a friend and started off with the bottomless white sangria which was amazing. I then ordered the triple appetizer special (cant remember everything that was on it but it was spot on) Our waitress was friendly, gave great recommendations, and our white sangria pitcher was never empty. This is a place I will be telling all my friends about, I can't wait to come here again!

Authentic South American? I suspected that this restaurant is more for non Gentiles. No pork on the menu. We ordered Argentinean Churrasco (skirt steak) and World's Greatest All-Beef Burger. We specifically requested to have the skirt steak medium and the burger medium-rare and the server said ok. However, the skirt steak was 110% overcooked, sliced; only a few strips were on the plate. The burger was 90% cooked, only about 5 to 6 oz beef, big bun though if you like carbs. Sides were not bad. That's why I still give it a two star, but no, thanks, won't go back again. Note that the kitchen is open to the seating area. This restaurant has very poor exhaust and smell like gas/burned charcoal the entire time that we sat there--free carbon monoxide!

I might come back. They mark the vegan items! My tofu was good as were the latin sides but I was confused about yucca cheese breads...I wanted yucca fries with "cheese" anyway the breads were good. and the vegan ice cream was way overpriced for the serving. it was tiny and I can get that same ice cream at WFM down the road - a pint for that price!

Food was good but the prices were a bit expensive for the amount of food you get. For $16 for lunch I wanted to me full after eating. Not so much. Three stars purely based on price.

I truly love this restaurant. The food is outstanding both in taste and quality. I am on a Paleo diet and it is extremely difficult to find places to go out to eat. There are so many options on the menu that are gluten free and dairy free. The grass-fed Uruguayan ribeye is delicious and the Yucca fries are so tasty! I Highly, highly recommend this place if you are trying to make healthier choices in your diet that are also delicious!!

I see a few reviews that this place has good vegetarian options; unfortunately, I didn't know about the off-menu stuff beforehand. This was a place we just sort of drove around and walked in to. On the menu itself was basically a veggie burger and a salad. That's it. I had the veggie burger. It was OK. First of all, I found it strange that they were serving a Mediterranean themed veggie burger at a South American restaurant - so I wasn't expecting anything good. I kind of didn't like that it was served inside the top and bottom of pita bread. Pita bread isn't really suited for burgers, I think. The veggie patty itself was good. The fries were also fine. The waitress was nice and overall service was good. They have a unique concept which I really liked - they have to bright yellow service please sign. Well, actually it was in Spanish, so... Service Por Favor. So you sort of stick that little sign up on this stand on your table, and the waitress is supposed to come check on you. It was a good idea, rather than trying to wave someone down or trying to make eye contact or whatever shenanigans one does to get their attention. So that was pretty cool. Unfortunately, that was the best part of my trip to Fuego. I would like to say that I'd go back to Fuego Mundo, but there really isn't anything on their menu that I'd like to eat. Oh well...

I was told this is the best Kosher restaurant in the Atlanta area. The food was pretty good (steak, sides, shish kabob, etc) - not as good as i'm used to in NY (where we have dozens of kosher options to choose from) but nothing to complain about. The atmosphere is OK - service and decor are nice. One nice touch was the south american food style... the spices on the meat, side dishes (grilled plantains were great), etc all had that south american touch, which was very nice. We had the Chocolate Melt cake for desert, which was actually a slice of babka with chocolate syrup... not what we were hoping for, but it's chocolate, so who can complain. The prices were very fair. If you're in Atlanta and need to go Kosher, definitely go here.

Prices are steep, food tasted ok but value for money does not amount to a great value. had the steak. Over salted

Saltiest food I've ever eaten. Even the fried plantains were salted. It's not kosher, but if you want a real health conscious meal, just head around the corner to the Shadowood Cafe. Salt Salt Salt

Today for lunch I had the chicken skewers with plantains and bok choy. Chicken skewers - good flavor with onions and peppers. It wasn't overly spiced and let you enjoy the flavors of those the items. Good. Plantains - Let's be real... Plantains are hard to mess up. These were good, but nothing spectacular. Bok choy - a little greasy/oily. I don't know what they cooked it in, but there was definitely a light brown residue left on my plate. Enough that it was mixing with my other food. The taste was actually really good, but the greasiness threw me off. Price - way high. One skewer with four pieces of chicken, four bok choy, and five plantains. All together with an unsweet tea...$14. If that was $10, I'd probably come back for lunch. But $14? Way too many other options in Sandy Springs whose dinner costs are that price, much less lunch. The food is worthy of three stars, maybe even 4, but the high price leaves a lot to be desired.

Being a vegetarian, this place is ideal! They have a wide-range of food for everyone and I find it to be quite tasty. You can get in and out pretty quickly during lunch which is a plus during the work week. I was a bit disappointed when they changed their menu and removed a few good items. They changed their wraps, the new one is different but I like it. Even though they took the tofu wrap off the menu, they will still make it if you ask.

Visited Fuego Mundo for first time a while back when I was craving Jamaican but couldn't find one in close proximity. What I did find was a Fuego Mundo, a South American cuisine, close by. What really drew me in is the beautiful people sitting on their outdoor patio.. and hey on a nice spring day in April that was enough.. hey hey hey, its the little things in life that make me happy! I walk in and I'm greeted by the hostess who sits me down outside as I requested. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and the patio was pretty packed..but after all spring just had started so tis the season for long flowing maxi dresses, freshly manicured toes and lunch on a outdoor overlooking a parking lot :) Menu was brought out, and I proceeded with my favorite question "so whats really popular here." My waitress (sorry cant recall her name) was very helpful. After glancing the menu..well ok more like studying the menu for about 20 minutes I asked for my waitresses help seeing I was new to south American cuisine. She explained the menu in depth-and told me how they take a kosher, gluten-free and healthy approach to their dishes. Hmmm..kosher aye? I cant ever recall having anything kosher but was up for the challenge. She helped me narrow my order down to the Spicy Grilled Talapia with yellow rice and side of plantains! I specifically made sure to ask how spicy the spicy grilled talapia was (the spicier the better for this gal)! After insuring it met my nose dripping spice exceptions my order was put in. I went to use the restroom(which was clean btw) and walked by the grille and stood and watched my meal being cooked right in front of me. 5+ points for freshness! About 15 minutes or so after putting in my order my plate and my my my. The smell, was enough for me. The talapia had a great texture, wasn't over-grilled or under-grilled. Just perfect. As for spice.. well ok it didn't make my nose drip so I had to ask for an extra spicy sauce (similar to sirachi) that I spread all over my talapia and rice. Now were talking! The plantains were soooo delicious. I could just order the plantains and be satisfied. Overall my meal was really good.. What I realllllly hated was that the portions were really small. The talapia was really thin..and not filling. You almost have to order more than one dish to be satisfied. I dont know if its because its a healthy/equal portions type of place but um.. It did not feed my hunger! I haven't been back since my first visit in April.. which means I guess it didn't have a long lasting love affair with me. I'd recommend this restaurant ..but take heed and don't go when your really starving..

Decent food, but as much as I hate to say it, if you're not Jewish, don't bother. The wait staff was incredibly slow and the manager/owner was blatantly rude and unprofessional. His attitude is the only reason I will not be returning!

Loved it! The food was amazing, the service was excellent, a little over priced but so worth it! Was a little disappointed when I learned they don't have tomatoes to go with my friend's burger. I will definitely go back and recommend to my gym buddies as all their food is kosher and healthy.

I met a business client for lunch at Fuego Mundo a couple of weeks ago, and was pleasantly surprised by it. It's tucked back in the Prado shopping plaza off Roswell Road across the parking lot from the 5 Seasons Brewing restaurant and is very inviting inside. We arrived around 12:30 - peak lunch time, and the restaurant was busy but not overly so we managed to find a table. My client ordered one of the wraps (she'd been before and was a big fan) and I went for the chicken skewer meal and stir friend veggies and quinoa. I really enjoyed the fact that I could order quinoa to go with the meal, but I was a little disappointed by how small my serving of chicken on the skewer was. I was expecting more meat and veggies, but what I had was very tasty - just not quite enough. I've never been for dinner, but I assume it's more of the same type of fare. If I go again, I'll just know to order something more substantial like the chicken breast or maybe the skirt steak. I'd certainly give it another try though - the fact that they strive to be a "healthy taste of South America" always wins points with me. Kudos for making an effort to make good South American food good for you too.

From the outside, this place looks like a chain...much like Moe's or Fresh2Order or one of those places. However, a quick Google search will reveal that this is the one and only so it automatically makes you feel better about eating here (not that I have anything against chains really). I ordered the Skirt Steak with a side of The Health Nut (quinoa, black beans, baked plantains) for a total of $11.72 before tip, which I thought was a bit steep for an order-at-the-counter-then-sit-down place. The food itself, however, was really reeeally tasty, non-greasy, and just the right portion size so you won't feel sick afterwards. If my meal was closer to $9 before tip, I'd probably change my rating to a 5.

Tasty food but rather disappointing otherwise. Very small portions, erratic service (had to remind waitress 3 times what I ordered for correct bill). Cramped seating and tables. Small portion of steak with rice/beans for $20. Would go back if someone else paid for it though.

For me, it's a fine line between "meh" and "a-ok." The concept is the same as Boneheads/Fishhook Grille -wait in line, order and pay at the counter, take a number, food is delivered, get your drinks yourself. Only problem, is portions are *tiny* and just don't deliver on the flavor. Skirt steak was forgettable, side salad was forgettable. However, a couple of things life them from plain old two stars. I like that they offer sangria in addition to your basic alcoholic options, and the atmosphere does have quite a bit more style than your usual order at the counter places. Additionally, this is the best of the inexpensive food option at the Prado.

They have decent meats grilled in South American flair. It seemed funny that that the meat dishes had vegan sides. It looked like they wanted to emphasize the vegan-ness of the sides. Along with the vegan sides you choose, the meats come with a side of fried plantains. Fried plantains tasted pretty good and so did the meat. They marinate the meat with some spices and grilled it well. The vegan sides come with quinoa, rice, beans, corn, plantains, etc. But too bad I didn't get a chance to taste it. They never gave me my side. At first, I thought it was separate. But later I found out it was part of the meal. The manager found out and tried to make it right. He gave me free dessert instead. I got the Tres Leches cake. It tasted pretty good. He said their chocolate cake and something else was homemade. I give them big kudos in trying to make things right. They seem to care about their customer service. The manager was there making sure everything was cool with everyone in the restaurant. The price seemed a bit steep for lunch, but I think it's a fair value for what you get. 4 stars.

I had to take some stars away because they've changed the format of the place. It's a sit-down experience with servers now. I'm sure the food is still great, but I can't confirm whether the food has changed, because their particular brand of counter-ordering accounted for a lot of what I liked about the place. I can no longer stop in and grab lunch or dinner to-go on my way home.

My best buddy and I recently dined at Fuego Mundo for the first time. We appreciated the gluten free menu offerings of lean grilled meats, chicken and salmon as well as Latin American side dishes. Oddly for an early Friday night the lamb chops weren't available, so we did not order the mixed grill for 2. I ordered skirt steak. The marinated flavor was very nice. Not 'citrusy' like Cuban mojo, but one which subtly brings out intrinsic flavors. The skirt steak itself could have been a higher grade. My steak -came already choppped- had too many gristly/fatty bits which I couldn't chew. About 15% were like that, but since the serving was fairly plentiful, I didn't go hungry. My friend ordered tenderloin on a skewer, medium rare. It was good, but we both realised he should have ordered medium. I think most marinated skewered beef or lamb ought to be ordered medium. If you're certain of top quality red meat then go for med-rare. Our sides included fried yucca, plantain, rice, and yummy black beans. Beers and wines are available Our server (Jorge, I think) was helpful, sweet, very professional. Yes, we intend to go back since Fuego Mundo is near us. But first we'll call and find out if they have lamb chops!

For my first time at Fuego Mundo, I was impressed. the food was served fairly quickly and the facility has a nice, clean look and feel. I was surprised with how much flavor was cooked into the skewered chicken that I have. Overall a nice place for something just a little different. I need to go back and try a few more items on the menu now.

Had the mixed grill - excellent , but added a Argentinian steak; and an ahi tuna; with great sides ; and had dessert trio. All were excellent !! full before dessert but couldn't resist. Each one of us liked something else on the mixed grill, so perfect combo - steak was very tasty ( kosher steak that tastes good, that is near impossible) ; I am very fussy about tuna - and this was perfect !!!! BTW, don't you hate when a waiter/ waitress asked how you want the SEARED tuna - not here-- they had it cooked right without asking and flavored perfect Family went there for dinner Thursday just before 5 pm to beat the traffic; surprised to see the 20% off between 3-5; That helped because they are on expensive side = that was the only thing that will prevent us from going back too often - but will go back (but before 5 though) . Price kept it from 5 star service was very friendly , prompt, very helpful ( she even kept the hand-squeezed lemonade filled)

My BF and I came here last night for dinner - lazy Sat evening, neither of us felt like cooking and we were looking for something close by. I had the skirt steak, the latin, and the ceviche and the yucca fries. The ceviche was very flavorful, with just the right amount of tart. The yucca fries were too starchy in my opinion, but I would get them again just for the dip they came with (I pretty much dipped everything in my meal in that sauce - it tasted great with the skirt steak). The steak was very tender, and I really liked the plantain chips that came with everything (also delicious with the yucca fries dip). The fried plantains were the best part of 'the latin'. Reasonably priced, delicious meal. I'd def come back for seconds.

Ate here with a party of 5 for a birthday dinner and from looking at the website this place is a lot smaller in person than it appears on the website. But don't let that put you off from heading out to this spot. The good food and intimate setting are the perfect combination for a nice laid back dinner. My party had the skirt steak (x3), Fuego Fillet (1) and the Chicken Fingers (Do kids eat anything else but this?). I think the general opinion around the table was the Skirt Steak was more tender and flavorful than the Fillet. This was a surprise since the Fillet is usually a better cut of meat. Along with the Steak we ordered some sides (the Latin: black beans, rice with plantains) and the American (grilled corn and roasted potatoes). Everything was very unique, spicy and great. Since this was a birthday dinner I wanted something different than the everyday & this truly hit the spot. Briefly talked with the owners Masha and Udi and found out this place has been open for a little over a month and I wish them all the luck in the world. I know I'll be back, Happy birthday to me :-)

Compared to what it used to be, this place has gone down hill. They're closed on Saturdays. The sign said they will only open for special occasions. They have not only jacked up the price but the portion size is a little smaller.. A beef kabob dinner used to be $9.99 served on 2 separate plates. One for the meat, the other for the sides. Now it's $17.99 all on one plate in small portions. Quite a jump in price and smaller portion. It used to be you order at the counter and self-service drinks. Now they seat you at the table and the waitress serves takes the order and serves you, meaning additional 15 - 20% tip. Not a major complaint if there is better value in the service. Unfortunately, the service is not good as the wait staff is not very attentive. . I would always order the Latin soup as an appetizer. The last time I ordered the soup it wasn't very fresh. The soup was oily and the vegetable really mushy, I will not return.

I've been here for lunch twice now and had the chicken skewers both times. One word for you- YUM. I get it with the health nut which is a helping of quinoa, black beans and plantains. It's a good spot with delicious food.

Quick and healthy lunch. I opted for the veggie stir-fry atop quinoa with a side of vegetable soup. The veggie stir fry was very flavorful (and very salty) but still nice and crunchy. The quinoa was cooked to perfection in my opinion, and was a nice textural contrast to the stir fry. The vegetable soup had great potential, but it just didn't live up to the flavor of the stir-fry. Also, there was a huge chunk of corn on the cob in the soup, which made for messy eating. This seems to be a good healthy alternative for the Prado, and definitely faster than the other restaurants for lunch.

This was the s-e-c-o-n-d time we stopped in here --- but the f-i-r-s-t time we actually ate. We tried to order one of their pita sandwiches on the first visit but they told us "we don't serve sandwiches on the weekend." Hu-h?!?!! I mean it's on the menu and there is no disclaimer to that fact. So finally got to try the 'tilapia pita' sandwich on this second trip ... also ordered an appetizer of 'yucca fries and dip' to (presumably) share with my lunch buddy ... The appetizer arrived and it turns out you only get about six pieces of the yucca and about enough 'dip' to fit into a couple of thimbles. There was so little dip that I can't even tell you if it tasted good or what ... I can tell you the pita sandwich needed fixing ... it looked good enough with sauteed onions and peppers along with the fish, but it very dry overall and almost lacking in flavor. The hot sauce on the tables saved this sandwich. We really wanted to like this food more than we did ... It's possible we ordered the wrong item, maybe fish or sandwiches is not a 'specialty' here(?).

Having finally been to FM on a Saturday evening, I can say that the food does not tell the whole story. The place is cozy and attractive in an "after dark" kind of way. The grill flames up periocially and lights up the room. The crowd is energetic and live music is now part of the Saturday night routine. The owners are working the place hard, making sure everyone is happy. The thing that really sets this place apart is the convergence of cultures: a Brazilian theme, a more expansive Latin/Carribean menu, music that may or may not fit either concept (light classic rock was going on recently), and a huge percentage of the customers obviously keeping kosher and feasting after Sabbath. And somehow, it all works. Check it out. Odds are good that you will be pleased.

There aren't many Halaal or Kosher restaurants that aren't Middle Eastern or South Asian. This place not only has amazing typical American food (chicken tenders, burgers) but the South American/Latin fusion is amazing as well!

I can't complain. I guess the uniqueness for a kosher restaurant should be lauded. I mean, the strip mall that it's in is pretty annoying - there is always a ton of traffic and if you are in the city, it's a ton of stoplights to get up to this area of town. The only way to get there conveniently is if you can take 285. There's parking in the parking deck, which helps. We were here at lunchtime on a Thursday, and it was pretty empty. I was here with a large group of co-workers, and it's a good choice because folks who keep kosher could come here, and there's a wide variety for everyone else. I had the chicken wrap and the soup. Everything was fine. Didn't knock my socks off, wasn't gross. The chicken wrap is a little bland and the tortilla it was in was a little dry, but was a decent size. The soup had a good broth, but not a ton of vegetables. I have also had the plantain chips from here and they are very unique and pretty tasty. This is a decent place to go to please a diverse eating crowd, pretty spacious inside and reasonable service. Don't expect anything special, but at least you're not paying a whole lot for it, either.

This place is expensive for the very casual ambiance. It's in a shopping center and it's a no frills casual place. But very clean and still seems new inside. It's consistsly about the $24 range per person for lunch (1 chicken and 1 steak skewer, no drink). That's high by most standards so I cannot give it a five star rating That would seem normal for places like Houston's, Seasons 52, etc, but this place feels more like a deli than a nice restaurant. No complaints about the food though. It has a healthy menu and the food is always prepared very well and tastes very good. After 10 or so visits i have never had a bad meal here. But I save this place for when I feel the need to spoil myself. Like many kosher places, it's closed on Saturday, which is unfortunately the easiest day for me to get here. The operating hours seem rather odd so call first.

I'm always worried when a place has counter service with a buzzer. I can't explain the fear, but I just think my food is going to be awful by virtue of being handed this peculiar device. Fuego Mundo has done it's part, however, to alleviate my fear. I read their menu online and was kind of drooling. We were wanting a diverse dining experience, so we ordered tapas mainly. Every little thing we ordered had a tiny dose of mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. The red bean hummus stands out the most. Their house ceviche is not too far behind. Definitely will crawl back here!

It's seriously unfortunate that this restaurant decided to take everything good they had and throw it out the window. First, I'll say that I'm not sure when this changed. I went here in March and it was excellent. Last night, though.. well.. We walked in, and now we have to be sat at a table by a waitress. We no longer order at the counter. Our waitress was awful. I encouraged Future Wife to give her a $0 tip, but Future Wife has a heart and left 10%. (Which is insulting, we usually leave 20%+) We ordered drinks. Twice. And the waitress still screwed it up. When Future Wife reminded the waitress that she had not brought our drinks over, the waitress said, 'Yea .. yea.. yea..' dismissively as if we were bothering her. The entire menu changed. In March, I was able to order a delicious $14 filet. Now, the closest thing I can get is a fatty, disgusting 'rib eye' (used loosely) for $19. I had to pay $5 more for a terrible piece of steak. Thanks for changing everything around, Fuego Mundo. You have solidified my decision to never return to your awful restaurant. It's a shame, too, since I used to tell many people good things about you..

Not worth it for the prize. I lived in Peru, Argentina and Mexico. Travelled many times to Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Brazil. Basically if you have never been to a South American country and you probably can't tell the difference. It basically a fast food South American style" restaurant. This place has a bit from everywhere but nothing excellent from any country.

I loooooooove Fuego Mundo. I have Celiac disease and struggle to find places I can safely eat. Thankfully, Fuego's entire menu (except the Empanadas) is gluten free. THAT is a great thing! The food is delicious and not very expensive. Great value + safe for me to eat = one of my favorite places in Atlanta. The owners are fantastic and host a lot of great events (Tweetups, Meetups, and wine tastings) at the restaurant. My favorite menu item? Yucca fries, hands down. So yummy!

My new addiction I would tell you I've been here three times in last two weeks but then you might feel compelled to stage an intervention. Unbelievable value. Great flavor for reasonable price. Will come back to try other menu items. I recommend the sea bass, chicken breast, and salmon. Tried my Friend's flank steak. It was flavorful but not as exceptional as the other items. Try their Argentinian wines while you are there. I'm not a sangria fan but my friends rave about it. Tried the mango pie. Sounded good. Waste of calories. Friendly service. Great food. Reasonable prices. Definitely a keeper.

I'd like to preface this review by saying that I've only been here once but so far so good. I ordered the skirt steak with a side of the "Latin". Steak was very flavorful but I felt the sides were on the bland side. My brother's been here a couple of times and recommends the ceviche. There were a couple of things I want to try...but I guess I'll save that for next time. Although mine was tasty, I like my steak more medium rare. They were banging out those orders with factory like efficiency but I wish they could've cooked the steak to order. That's my only real knock on them. Anyways, it's quick, tasty, and a good value. I'll be back soon.

The only saving grace was decently good food (3.5 stars). However that doesn't justify the service (which was abysmal). Maybe it was just our waitress but after being seated and ordering, we saw her once for our food service. Then with no notice or acknowledgement to us she took her lunch break at the table immediately behind us! We assumed another waitress would have helped but were mistaken. Finally I walked up to the waitress station for the check and a to-go box. When I returned to our table our waitress was still staring at her phone and never looked up once. Ridiculous. All this being said, I'm giving it 2 stars since the other waitresses appeared to be working and, as mentioned first, the food was good (albeit over-priced). Will not go back.

Even tho I can't actually eat practically anything worth eating here, it's still a great place. Went with a group of friends, and I ordered the tapas sampler. I liked everything on it except for the empanada. Super salty! I was kinda shocked. Couldn't finish it. Tried my husbands skirt steak and it was super tasty. The flavors were popping and was pretty tender, but you can tell it is kind of a fast food joint as it wasn't butchered properly - there were pieces or tendon or gristle that wasn't edible. But whatever, the flavor! I do wonder tho is everything is flavored the same, as our friends sea bass also tasted like the skirt steak. Very meaty he said. Kind of a small place with a fast paced feel, but it didn't really bother me. Either way, when I am able to actually eat normal food again I would like to give it another shot.

Fuego Mundo offers fresh, healthy, and vegan-friendly options. The prices are very reasonable, and I really love the food. The black beans and rice are tremendously flavorful, which proves that foods can be flavored well without animal broth. It's nice to have quinoa as an option instead of rice, too. The tofu steaks are grilled separate from the meat, which I appreciate. And they have Mexican Coke in glass bottles! No corn syrup! The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is the location. Getting in and out of this bustling shopping center is a royal pain in the ass. But the food and service at Fuego Mundo are tops.

Went back here. They changed it. Upped the prices. The things I liked on the menu are no longer there: flan, empanadas. Then they added in other things like "the best burger". It's now a wait to sit down thing. Yeah, not coming back.

Went here for a friend's birthday party and am SO glad she chose this place. I am a fan for sure. It's Brazilian food on a budget. :) Ordered the steak skewers and the "Latin" for my sides, with quinoa instead of the rice. No compaints here! Staff is awesome, they are so friendly, engaging, and helpful when ordering. I will be back here, and this is now on my list of dining spots!

Love it Here! Great ceviche served here. It has a good amount of acid and meaty chunks of fish. Not many places ever get it right. I like the casual feel and the staff are all friendly. They serve great yucca fries with a kick ass garlic yogurt sauce. I dipped everything in that sauce. Gotta try the other dishes next time. Everything was quickly prepared and very fresh. Totally worth another visit....

The charcoal wood aftertaste on the chicken skewers so pleasing after you get use to it. It make me feel like I in Amazon jungle eating food right off the campfire making the meat fresh and exciting like wild game taste. First time I try, I no like, but 2nd time I get use to it (something like first time smoking Cuban cigar). Naturally, wood charcoal taste make me feel yucky and headache but Fuego Mundo find way to make wood charcoal bitter aftertaste taste refreshing, wanting more. I alway order the low price chicken skewer with the Latin side. The Spanish rice is nothing special, but the black bean is healthy and making body feel strong for long time energy, and the plantain very sweet like candy to help chaser off the smokey flavor. I could never get enough charcoal refreshing taste of Fuego Mundo and would definitely go back.

Had dinner here tonight! This was my second time here, and enjoyed this time better. The first time I got a chicken sandwich and didn't enjoy it so much, this time I got the dark meat chicken, with rice and French fries. I enjoyed it, and filling. Other items ordered were the cheese rolls which was very good- but come as an order of 3. The other app was the meditterian app which was pita bread with hummas and sliced cucumbers. Pita was good- my parents enjoyed the hummas and cucumbers. My mom got the lamb chops and she really enjoyed it, and my dad got a soup, and sliced cucumber with crab meat I think that's what he said was on top. He liked his meal. My brother got the chicken sandwich with French fries, and enjoyed his as well. For dessert we got the double chocolate cake, which was a bobka type of cake with chocolate all over, it was good. We all left full and happy. I may go back again. By the time we left the place was packed. Also they were doing a fundraiser tonight only for one of the originations my brother is involved with.

Working next door I have eaten here quite a few times over the last year and as far as the food goes everything has always tasted good they get a few minus points for to go orders, sauces aren't there or veggies are wrong I have over look it . Here is the problem , they send you an email for a Free Dinner for your birthday that they know nothing about and Do Not Honor !!!!! I went two days in a row, the day before my Birthday and was told "NO" even after a call was made to a manager from a girl behind the the counter ? Then on my birthday with a copy of the email in hand that was asked for the day before, met me at the counter again and she reads the email and again was told me "NO" with a shake of a head and she wanted to know where the manager was ? He was outside, after seeing her speak to him I soon followed and questioned was there a problem with the letter ? He informed me, " That the person who wrote this had not worked there in over a year ." and handed the letter back to me. This False Advertising and the situation was handled Very Badly . I haven't been back since.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Me and my mom went because we had to run errands while at The Prado, so we figured we'd try something new. Boy, am I glad we did! I had the chicken skewers. I usually don't like peppers and onions, but it was all so good. The fact that it's gluten free as well as dairy free is amazing. I think the only person that wants to go back here more than me is my mom.

I'm a pretty random person and this restaurant is oh so random. South American. Kosher. Gluten-free. Vegan. My God, there are so many ways to describe the food here. Ever had a delicious steak with quinoa as a side? Didn't think so! However, I am not ready to give this place a "best of" ranking like the rest of the Yelpers. One reason is because I don't believe all the food is great. I had the chicken sausage and found it to be totally underwhelming - about seven pieces of spicy chicken sausage. That's it. However, my friend's steak was effin delicious - once I tried a little bit, I had to have more. It was flavorful and soft and juicy. I definitely plan on returning and trying more things.

I really like this place. I love the plantain chips and salsa. A very nice change from the typical tortilla chips and salsa. The food always seems fresh and is always tasty and consistent...it's that simple.

I'm torn- I want to give this place 5 stars- but I should probably try at least one more thing before I do. . .I went here for lunch and it was sooo good! I got the lunch special- Pita with your choice of meat. I tried the chicken. The pita was stuffed (and I mean STUFFED!) full of tender juicy chunks of chicken, grilled onions and bell peppers, a creamy/yogurty(?) sauce which I think is the Fuego sauce, not sure. It came with a side of the plantain chips. I was really impressed with the flavor and tenderness of the chicken. I rarely order grilled or kebab style chicken because I'm afraid it's going to be dry- but this was great. And the price was incredibly reasonable- $6. It was really refreshing to see there's a place you can grab a quick bite and for the most part it seems like most of the options are pretty healthy.

While in Atlanta for training I was given lunch vouchers for several restaurants in the Sandy Springs area. After eating at Fuego Mundo, I saw no reason to eat elsewhere. Their menu is an interesting mix of Latin flavors derived from the Caribbean, Central and South America in other words ALL of the Latin world. I've tried several items on the menu and each one is superb. I'm partial to the chicken skewers with the Latin Sides - rice, black beans and sweet plantains. They grill the meat on an open grill yet cook them to perfection, sealing in the juices in the process. The only thing that's more appealing than their nicely decorated restaurant is perhaps the girls who take the orders. They're brimming with enthusiasm and they're very helpful when the customer appears to be confused when ordering from the varied menu. I happened to cross paths with Udi (the owner) today and told him that I was disappointed... disappointed that there isn't a Fuego Mundo in the San Diego area. He said he'd think about it expanding there. Though I leave in two days, I will return again tomorrow for another great meal. After all, they are closed on Mondays. That seems to be the only day that other restaurants in the area get customers!

Everything was really fresh and delicious. I left feeling full and satisfied, but in a good/healthy way (not like I'd overdone it). I had the sea bass and the "Health Nut" sides. The sauce on the fish was just great, and I'm amazed at how fluffy their quinoa is (and jealous that I can't get it to that consistency when I make it). My husband had the skirt steak and the veggie stir fry over quinoa. My 5 yr old had the chicken nuggets and fries. :) Would definitely come back here again the next time I'm in the area.
