Delicious pasta for $10! I would come again. I got spaghetti noodles and traditional tomato sauce but it was really good. Pictured below is my friends plate. I took a picture and told myself I'd get it next time.

I've always liked Figo pasta. I know that this was a new clip new location, they moved from Howell Mill. Everything is more wide-open then the location before which isn't necessarily bad but it lost a lot of charm and certain aesthetic. The food is always delicious, great authentic Italian that doesn't give you that full sick feeling that some Italian does.

Squeeeeee!! I. Am. So. Excited. Because the new Figo is quite literally next door to my new apartment (get the keys today - is it reasonable to eat here again, as I did yesterday when mulling over my decision?) - and because I just love Figo. I've eaten at all locations of the years, I think, and loved Osteria the best. So it moving down the street to the corner of Marietta and Howell Mill is (more) amore. My old friend Alberto Fedeli is helping this store get off the ground in his multi-tasking role in management. Good deal - he is great at this. Super NPWH. Lunch yesterday was awesome and we ordered too much, deliciously. In toto, we got... The salad special (right now it is spinach with grilled peaches and a lemon vinaigrette) with grilled chicken added: awesome, and Mom's fave of the salads. .... the small (note- still sharable and at $3 quite a good value) arugula and parmesan salad with the lemon vinaigrette, which is my all time fave here .... the arancini as a "starter" (told you we went all out) - delicious fried rice and mozzarella balls with a marinara dipping sauce, which were so good we wanted to eat them all (there are 5 in an order so...) .... and the gemelli with checca, which is my hands down go-to at Figo - the just simmered down enough pieces of the tomato and the cubes of fresh mozzarella with my favorite curly pasta is just heaven. Mom hadn't tried and is definitely a convert now. For the money, the taste, care and portion sizes really can't be beat. And while I suppose Figo is technically a fast-casual? casual dine-in? whatever you want to call it, it behaves and looks like a more upscale dining spot. Again, I. Am. So. Excited. To eat here often.

It is surprising there's only 3 reviews before mine. So no one continue to come to this location after they moved? I used to live nearby and I witnessed this block from a trash building to the Figo now. At one point I thought the City is taking this building down since it blocks the view of drivers turning from the minor road to Marietta Street. I have seen accidents happen at the intersection. Anyway, the food. Eh... I went for a weekday lunch and ordered the $6.95 special with choice of Panini, choice of Figo appetizer (or whatever the name is called), and a choice of salad. They only let you choose the inexpensive items from the 3 categories respectively, which makes sense given it is a special. My food arrives in 5 minutes and it looks like typical Waffle House food down the street. This must be pre-made and they just need to heat the Chicken Panini up... - Chicken Panini: Bland. I opened the bun and saw what's inside... Wait, am I at McDonalds now? - Salmone Affumicato (Appetizer): It's okay but I was a little bit disappointed to see just smoked salmon PASTE instead of smoke salmon slice. Their vague description won. - Insalata Di Spinaci E Caprino (Salad): Oh this is one of the best salads I have had, surprisingly. Good mix of balsamic vinaigrette with golden raisins. The goat cheese is pretty tasty as well. I guess the mediocre appetizer and entree made the salad stand out? Sosad... Given the price and location, I may visit again depending on what I am craving that day. But hey there are tons of restaurants down the other side of 935M (BarTaco, Bocado, 5 seasons, etc). Figo needs to do better to establish itself on Marietta Street, otherwise it would eventually suffer like YumBunz last year.

One of my favorite spots for pasta. The service is always great, and they have rotating specials month to month that feature seasonal traditions. The "make your own dish" allows a tailored feel, and allows you to get exactly what you want without the things you don't (great for picky eaters). They have a few gluten free options, and an excellent prosciutto panini. Great casual Italian spot that can be quick if you're in a pinch for good, very reasonably priced food.

This was our first time dining at this Figo location and we are so happy we came as its significantly better in terms of service and overall experience than the others. The server, Shana, was fantastic and always filling drinks. The food was prepared perfectly. I had the special, roasted garlic ravioli in a creamy oak-salmon sauce. Lastly, the manager, Alberto, is an absolute delight. After hearing about our past times with Figo, he apologized (despite us not looking for one) and brought us a wonderful dessert and cappuccinos for the inconvenience. He's truly a people-person (but men, beware, he has a wicked nice Mediterranean accent haha). My fiancé and I will definitely be returning to this location. You should too.

I called to place a take out lunch order and the woman who answered the phone was so friendly and helpful! She took time to not only describe the lunch specials, but described each dish and made great recommendations. The food was excellent and the customer service was even better!

This Figo's Pasta is newly opened and doesn't have a liquor license yet. I went with a group of 25. Service was outstanding, very attentive and good at keeping water filled, bread coming, etc. Nice atmosphere, very comfortable. There was very nice hard crust bread and olive oil for dipping. Lemons are provided for the water. I thought the prices were very reasonable. Antipasto were mostly $3.00. I had tartufo, mushroom, asparagus, marsala wine and truffle oil on toasted ciabatta bread. I had never had this and it was very flavorful. My main course was Ravioli di Aragosta Maine lobster ravioli in a light creamy lobster sauce with a hint of Sambuca. The pasta was perfect and, while I really couldn't detect the samba, the sauce was heavily and rich. There were many other dishes ordered by people in my group and everything looked good. Everyone was happy with their food. I had the tiramisu. It was very good. I recommend this restaurant.

I would give this place a 5 star with the pizza was just a tab bit better. The base was burnt a bit more than I would prefer. Everything else (pasta, dessert, etc.) were great.

No more free bread with take out orders? Lame. Bring that back! (Frequent take out customer, longtime Figo customer) it was not made clear to me on the phone that bread was no longer a free included product - wish they told me but silly I have to pay for it.

I don't understand why this location isn't busier! Everything about my experience was great. The lunch special is a good deal $6-7 for a half & half with salad, soup, pasta or panini. Food portion was good and it tasted delicious. Multiple servers came by to check up on us for bread and water refill. Prime location to Marietta street and free parking behind the building.

Wow what a great restaurant! When you walk in you order your food at the hostess stand and then you're given a decorated salt and pepper shaker as your table marker and you get to pick where you sit. After you sit you're almost immediately greeted by your server with your drinks and bread in hand. A delicious olive oil is already on the table and it taste exquisite. Our food came reasonably fast and the pasta was aldente perfection. We went around 1:20 on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. The vibe is very hip, casual, and relaxed. The menu has a generous variety. The staff made us feel well taken care of and we definitely will come back! It was a unique experience and the pricing is affordable!

Good traditional Italian food, the location is a lil confusing to get to but totally worth the drive.

Ate here on Friday night it was awesome. I had skid mushroom ravioli with spicy sausage and pepper sauce and my daughter had spinach ravioli with the same sauce and my hubby had sea bass risotto. All were satisfied. Service outstanding. We also had calamari and it us to die for. Peanut butter pie was good too. Fresh sweet tea sealed the deal. New location on west Marietta is nice. Love love love it

Been a fan of this place for years but the excellent service at this new location prompted me to finally write a review! This location is very spacious and makes the best use of natural lighting through it's expansive windows that wrap almost half of the eatery. Food service was lightening fast which is perfect for someone like me who only gets an hour for lunch. Speaking of which they have a great lunch specials and the food was optimal during both of my visits. Great service and I was never at a loss for getting a waiter's attention. In fact, I was probably checked on at least 3 times which didn't happen at all in the last location. Another star for the parking in the back that doesn't require a valet. Only con is that you can't enter the business from the parking area in the back like say Amelie's but the only time I care about this is when it's raining. Also the dessert menu is lackluster for an Italian restaurant. Would love to see an addition of Crème Brule, Cannoli or Macarons.

Went to this new location for the first time, was a frequenter to the Howell Mill location. It is a little difficult to find it from the street. There is parking at the back. Can be accessed from Northside drive as well. The food is as usual very good. I love their Ravioli, sauces and pasta. I Like the arugula salad, and desserts (torte del nonna specially). The wait staff has changed. I would highly recommend for very good food. Has a nice warm ambience now. Looks more spacious.

First off the Figo Pasta on Collier Rd closed an hour early cause they ran out of food. WTF. So I drove to the new location that opened about 3 months ago on Marietta St. Sat at the bar and wanted a glass of wine with my dinner... No can do no liquor license yet. Wanted lasagna for dinner... No can do out of lasagna for the night. Almost got up and left but decided to stay. The waitress offered up a substitution for the lasagna which was very nice of her. 6 cheese ravioli with bolognese sauce will taste very similar to lasagne just not layered. Ok so I ordered that....very disappointed. First it was cold except for the sauce. Second the ravioli was practically cheese free and third the sauce was watery (which is hard to do considering it is a meat sauce). This was just not my night to have good Italian food.

This was my first time visiting the new location. My husband and I have been huge Figo fans for years, so we were excited to check it out. When we first walked in on a Sunday evening, I was surprised how "dead" the place was, but just figured maybe word hadn't gotten out about the new location yet. We ordered our food at the front like usual, but when we tried to order wine were told that they did not yet have a liquor license. This was not a dealbreaker (even though I do like my wine...), but disappointing nonetheless. We shrugged it off and decided to stay since we have always been fans of the food. Well, I'm very sad to say that the service was awful (inattentive staff to our empty glasses that needed refills and just generally not coming to check on us) and the food a bit lackluster, as well. Considering how empty the restaurant was, there was no excuse for the poor service. Come on Figo, get it together!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
