Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

not sure which Fellini's i went to on my trip to atlanta but both were AMAZING. lol i went twice because it was so good. I got a slice of Feta Cheese and Spinach. it was GREAT! the crust is perfect. every bite has a slight crunch. i definitely recommend this place. i also tasted the pepperoni which was great.. i just prefer the feta and spinach.

Pizza with as many toppings or as little as you want. Decent pizza. Parking is limited. I ordered two slices of pizza with a topping each. ALMOST couldn't finish what all I ordered. If I go again I will order one slice with two toppings.
(3)Kay H.
I enjoy their pizza, but the sweet tea is what i LOVE! very casual spot and would see most orders being to go.. you can call ahead too Warning: if you do not love a certain topping you have to tell them you want very little of it or you will get a heap of it mixed in! I generally am a veggie type but I def. enjoy the simple cheese only too :)
(4)John W.
Great pizza including the white, vegetarian and hawaiian. Awesome salad, they really pack on the veggies and the cheese. Fun atmosphere in a retro building.
(4)Lady J.
I love this pizza. It's also a great place to just hangout and unwind. They serve beer and wine, so if you are looking for a great pizza place for adults this is it. Oh and did I say the pizza is good!!!
(5)Kevin P.
Much like La Fonda, Fellini's Pizza has several locations around town with the same menu. In fact, where you see La Fonda, you typically see Fellini's. I enjoy Fellini's. My favorite dish is the sausage calzone. The pizza is fair. I can't explain it. The salad is just simple ingredients, but it seems better than you would expect.

If I had a 2.5 star option I would pick it for Fellini's. This is the story on the pizza...It is partially pre-cooked...They offer by-the-piece, but I believe the whole pizza's are pre-cooked as well. I had a couple of pieces of pepperoni and mushroom. When I eat pizza I'm looking for something that will practically burn the roof off my mouth...the pepperoni and mushrooms were only half cooked. By the second piece it was like eating delivery after a 30 minute ride. Yet another place you have to stand in line to order when you are eating in...they do deliver your order to the table, but...IS IT THAT HARD TO TAKE AN ORDER AT YOUR TABLE??? (sorry for yelling ;)
(3)Craig S.
Excellent lunch place. I've been coming to this location for about 10 years or so and a slice and salad (hold the green olives) never fail to please.
(4)Lauren L.
I'm writing only about the pizza, because I've never sat down to eat here. I like the pizza a lot; I usually order it when I'm craving pizza on the way home from work. It's cheesy and greasy and good, and I'm a fan of their pepperoni. Only reason it's getting only three stars instead of four is because I really really don't like the way it tastes the next day. I'm a big fan of cold pizza in the morning, and this stuff doesn't cut it. But in a normal, pizza for dinner way, Fellini's is pretty good.
(3)john m.
Fellini's Special (I add garlic) is really good, and really, really fattening. The sicillian size pie is about $6 more than Dominos large, et. al., but probably 3 times more food, and wwwaaayyyy better.

For me, Fellini's=high school. When you're under 21 in Atlanta, there isn't a whole lot of "nightlife" so Fellini's usually was the place to be. We would always come to this location on Roswell Road, sit out on the patio, and watch people drive by (often times our friends/parents). Now that I live in a more pedestrian friendly city that sounds bizarre, but its just what you do in Atlanta, I guess. We'd also look for friends' names on the back of the postcards they give you to put on your table, but I think they may have banned writing on them. Too bad. The salad doesn't look like anything special but for some reason it is SOOOO good. The pizza is what you come for, though. I always got mine with spinach and feta. Yum, I miss it! Now that I am "of age," my friends and I still reunite at Fellini's whenever we're in town: there are just so many great memories.
(4)Courtney K.
My favorite pizza joint in town by far. Best calzone I've ever eaten. Always have leftovers because the calzones and slices are so large. Relaxing atmosphere, good beer choices. Will be back to any fellinis location!
(5)Dave G.
Best side salad it Atlanta! Very tasty. Great outdoor seating. One of my favorite pizza joints in Atlanta!
(5)Jamie W.
This place is fantastic. I have tried a lot of pizza places in the south since I moved back from Boston. Honestly, most of them aren't really good. This one is great. They have the best cheese of any restaurant. If you get the cheese on a salad you'll understand. There are some complaints people have about this place, but they are mostly unfounded. Pizza is a relative food. No place in Atlanta is perfect, but so far this is as close as it gets.
(5)China W.
For whatever reason I love the taste of salad and pizza in my mouth at the same time.....(TMI?). Fellini's does it for me. Great salads and really great pizza. If my husband could he would drag me here everyday for lunch, he would. But I won't let him!
(5)Stephanie P.
my fave pizza in atlanta! a normal haunt for me and my friends - it's cheap it's large slices, they have good beer, and the salad is phenomenal! It's another one of those places I can't go home without going to! Ricotta belongs on pizza!
(4)Nateia F.
I love Fellini's. It's one of the few restaurants that seem to be similar to New York Pizza. Extra cheese slices are my favorite!
(4)I E.
Mozzarella on the salads is great. Good crust on the pizza, not too thick or thin. Toppings were good on the pizza and they serve pbr.
(5)Frank L.
Although the food is consistent with the other locations, this one is the worse of the bunch for parking and seating. Don't bother going during lunch, its a disaster.
(2)Candy W.
I got a slice of Fellini's special and it's LOADED with pepperoni, sausage, and cheese....YUM!!! The crust was crispy. Absolutely delicious. My only complaint is their limited parking space. Fellini's sure has tasty pizza. My most favorite joint is still Rosa's in downtown, though.
(4)Bella I.
Awesome pizza and their house salads with mozzerella on top was divine.
(4)TONY M.
Fellini's you have a awesome Salad.
(5)Gil ..
Now that smoking is banned, this is a place you can go for an enjoyable dining experience. (It's small size made smoking sections pointless.) The salads are great, and you'll find lots of families here with you.
(4)Randy T.
Above average pizza halfway between Roswell and the heart of Buckhead. It's nice that at Fellini's, you can order pizza pies or pizza by the slice. I've eaten both Fellini's regular pizza and Sicilian pizza. If you order the Sicilian, you will get a thicker crust. The cheese here is decent and the toppings are of good quality. The sauce is also thick. Unlike many other pizzerias, there aren't a ton of "premade combos" to choose from. For example, there isn't the equivalent of a meat lover's pizza here. If you want a good combination of both meat and veggies, you can order Fellini's special. This pizza has pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, olives, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. You can also specifically order vegetarian, spinach and mushroom, white, or ham & pineapple pizzas. These are the only designated combinations on the menu. For a custom pizza, toppings are $0.50 each for slices and $2 each for large pies. Parking was non-existent... when the restaurant was half empty. I think that most of the parking was occupied by patrons of La Fonda Latina next door. Not sure if there is a solution to this, but you may have to circle the lot several times to find a space. Fellini's doesn't quite make my five star list in Atlanta, but you can eat decent pizza here. I appreciate how you can order by the slice at a fair price (less than $3 before toppings).
(4)Danielle S.
I have been to Fellini's many times. It is always super fast and delicious. I have had their salad each time I have come. And always split it. There are tons of toppings and they give you more than enough dressing for 3 salads. It is your basic garden salad but it's good! Each time I come I have gotten the same pizza... the veggie pizza, except this last time. I only get one slice because after half of their salad, one of their huge slices is enough to satisfy me! Their veggie pizza is loaded with delish veggies. It's been good to me but after having it so many times, I decided to step outside the veggie box and get their spinach mushroom pizza. Sorry veggie pizza, I may never come back to you. Their spinach mushroom pizza was so tasty. It had so many flavors! Even though it was a relatively simple pizza, (Spinach, Mushrooms, Fresh Garlic, Extra Cheese) it was quite delicious. Overall, service is quick and simple, food is good and relatively inexpensive, (for 1 beer, half a salad and a slice, its about $10). Fellini's, you have my vote!
(5)Catherine Z.
Read the full review, complete with pictures, on my blog! wp.me/p4GjLH-7O Their menu is short and simple, offering only pizzas, calzones and one salad. This place doesn't mess around. It attracts a large crowd because it is simple and straightforward and because the people in charge choose to stick to what they do best: make pizza. You'll never wait more than a few minutes for your food. In the meantime, you can relax in the air-conditioned dining area inside or admire the pretty water fountain under stringed lights. You could easily have a delicious, filling meal at Fellini's for under $10, or even under $5 if you tried hard enough. After all, slices come out at about $4, but I was pleasantly satiated after just one slice. Each pizza is freshly baked with stringy melted mozzarella on a crunchy and medium-thickness crust, often topped with fresh garlic. They're modestly generous with their toppings. My sister swears by their vegetarian pizza (left - $3.90), mainly because it doesn't take second place to Fellini's meatier alternatives, boasting mushrooms, onions, green peppers, olives and tomatoes. Basically, a supreme pizza minus the pepperoni. I had their Spinach Mushroom pizza (right - $3.70) which is simply a slice of cheese pizza topped with spinach, mushroom and freshly chopped garlic. My dad had the Fellini's Special (below - $4.40) aka the vegetarian pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage and meatballs. What sets this chain apart from all other pizza restaurants in Atlanta is the execution that goes into the production of every pizza, resulting in an exceptional slice every time.
(5)Nicole S.
This is the second Fellini's location I've been to. I decided to get a half pepperoni, half vegetarian (minus the olives, add spinach) pizza. I felt much safer parking outside this Fellini's vs the Buckhead one. However, it seems like a common trend for the Fellini's to put up signs to not leave valuables in the cars (must have a bad break in history). The pizza was delicious. I can't get over how amazing the crust is. The pizza had a lot of flavor. One of the best in the taste, flavor department. I took off a star, however, because the pizza was super, super greasy. I didn't expect that from a pizza restaurant (I'd expect that from a low end chain). I literally had to dab my pizza with multiple paper towels. It was so greasy, it leaked through the box.
(4)Punam K.
i there this is always the best and consistent excellent pizza / vegetarians slices are great and huge slice about $ 3,76 per slice but definitely worth every penny Also close late at night !!
(5)Danae G.
This is my favorite Fellini's location. I've been to at least four and this one still seems to stand out. I usually get a slice of pepperoni, I tried meatball for the first time and it was pretty good. I like to dip the crust in Balsamic Vinaigrette. Everytime I order pizza here the crust is perfect and never hard or crunchy. Most of the time I order wine with my pizza. If you know you're going to have more than one glass you can order a second one and they'll give you an IOU receipt. This is great b/c you don't have to wait in line again. I'm sure they will probably do the same if you want beer. If you're with a friend that's also drinking wine, it's cheaper to order a bottle. The reason this one gets 5 stars is because they have the best service. The servers here walk around and if you need something they'll bring it to you. At the other locations you usually have to get up yourself. Wow, that makes me sound super lazy lol. But who wants to wait in line again if you need something? I'm just saying. The atmosphere is fun and they have a patio. The parking lot isn't huge but I've never had an issue finding a space. You can also park at La Fonda next door.
(5)Alex P.
These guys really do redefine the term "Large". Their large pizza is absolutely massive. The flavor is awesome and the ingredients are fresh. This location is no exception. Of course, I couldnt compare this to some of the artisan unique pizza spots in Atlanta such as Antico's or Varuni Napoli, but for a regular pizza, Fellini's is great. I'd pick it any day over Blue Moon or Piu Bello. My only minor complaint is that the crust is just "ok" in my opinion. It's a little dry and too dense.
(4)Michelle T.
The best thing about Fellini's is their house salad. I mean it's awesome if you like olives and lots of mozzarella cheese. I love it. But the pizza is great too. Coming from NY where I love my single slice pizza, Fellini's is an acceptable replacement. I just wish they didn't serve it with a knife and folk. That should only happen in Chicago where pizza is a deep dish meal. But I digress... Fellini has some great pizza and you can customize a slice or a whole pie to your liking with a bunch of meat and veggie toppings. They have their salad with good balsamic dressing and some draft beers. Win, win, win. This locations parking can be a bear sometimes as it shares the lot with La Fonda, but there is additional parking in the back or park across the street in the Fresh Market lot. There is a semi covered outside patio which is cool because you can watch all the happenings on Roswell Road. Cool spot for casually hanging out and getting some food. Especially late night! Open till midnight during the week and for the Chastain area that is a major plus.

When we first moved to North Buckhead, Fellini's and La Fonda, their sister restaurant, were both much better than today. We regularly ate at both before being regularly disappointed over the past 3 years. Claiming inability to cook even the simplest recipe, my house mate ordered a spinach mushroom combo pizza. I seemed to recall our last disastrous soggy pizza from Fellini's but was too sick to do anything but go along. Somebody tell me if I am wrong here. A couple of years ago didn't Fellini's spinach pizza with mushrooms, onions, and feta cheese used to be based on a white olive oil, rather creamy roasted garlic sauce? The pizza carried in tonight was built on the typical sweet/acrid crushed tomato sauce topped with mozzarella cheese. There were plenty of mushrooms and grilled onions, enough spinach, but no feta I cut taste. Maybe it was ground up and had melted. But the spinach topping fought with the tomato sauce and got knocked out. Fellini's crust is a yeasty uneven thing, managing to be tough in places, too thin in others. The last couple of times we ordered their pizzas, I just ate some of top ingredients, finding the cheese too rubbery, their Italian sausage full of soy, very fake tasting. soy On the whole Fellini's quality has come down too much .

Venue: Felini's Pizza Decor: Take out Pie Spot Service: Good Environment: Laid back, Family style and fun Food: Pizza!!! Prices: Affordable Debbie Downers: None really, serves its purpose Conclusion: Felini's Pizza is all over Atlanta. The location on Roswell Road is no different any others. Menu is the face. Service is the same. Plenty of parking. Good pizzas especially by the slice. Overall: B+
(4)Kate M.
Praise to the pizza gods that have delivered this cheesy, chewy, chock-full-of-toppings goodness upon us! Fellini's is where it's at, and whenever I'm craving pizza it's all I can think about! It's super convenient to get to on Roswell Road and they offer multiple toppings, beer, pizza styles, salads, and drinks so everyone can find something they like. A Medium pizza with two toppings costs around $15 after tax and I like it better for slices. There's plenty to feed a crowd and it comes out warm and bubbly to your table. Slices and house salads are also super affordable and perfect for a quick lunch. Here you order at the counter and pay before being given drink cups for the fountain and a postcard with a cool picture on it to place on your table. Typically it takes 10 - 15 minutes to get your nomz depending on how busy they are. This location has a great outdoor patio that's covered so you can sit comfortable rain or shine. Most of the wait staff picks music from their iPods for ambiance and it's my taste 95% of the time. Another benefit is that it's super close to Chastain so it's easy to grab something substantial before going to a show. Overall the pizza is on point, the atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, and everything is reasonable priced. Just writing this review is making me want to go right now!
(4)John W.
If you have never been to Fellini's, you need to try it! I like the staff at this location as well, sometimes if you walk into pizza joints in Little five points or even some other Fellini's locations, they try to mean mug you, maybe cause it makes them feel cool, I don't know... This one, they just are cool, and they're not worried about trying to come across cool. Who doesn't love a good pizza?... And what I love the most is the late hour availability just in case you get a craving late night and you don't want Waffle House or some dried out, burnt Domino's Pizza, Lol. Prices are very reasonable, and you can order by the slice, and I have to worry about throwing out half of a perfectly good pizza. Give it a try!
(5)Tiffany A.
As a NY native, I know amazing pizza and pizza from Fellini's will certainly have you wondering if they transport it straight from NY. I've dined in and ordered to go and the quality of pizza never disappoints!
(5)Kemia B.
Great late night place to grab a bite to eat. The slices here are always good. My fav - slice of cheese with black olives. Yummm! The patio is perfect loc to sit, eat and have a drink. I love Fellini's!
(5)Sree D.
Ok let me clear things up from what I liked about this place and few things where it could have been better. I walked in at around 10:30 PM on Saturday night and there is line for the cashier and had no clear signs on whether I will be seated and then place order with waiter or if I have to order first and get a number. I stood there for two minutes to figure out how it works so some signage is really appreciated. Now moving to next stage of my Fellini's experience... My Order: 1 Sicilian cheese slice 1 Sicilian white cheese pizza slice 1 cheese slice with pineapple topping for my daughter. what I got: 1 Sicilian cheese slice with pineapple topping 1 Sicilian cheese pizza slice(tomato sauce underneath) with white pizza topping of ricotta cheese, mozzarella, roasted garlic and oregano 1 cheese slice So I had to move all the pineapple pieces my slice to my daughter's cheese slice. Likes - Sicilian/Neapolitan pizza style. The crust was perfect and had right amount of chewiness to it which I personally like. The sauce was bright and acidic and not too sweet. The aroma of basil and oregano comes through right at you even though the tomatoes takes the lion share of the taste profile with a subtle hint of garlic. Next is the so called white pizza slice. There was tons of cheese on this so please ask them to go easy on cheese if you need to get a better taste than have a heart attack. Funny enough with all that weight of cheese, the crust upper layer came off when trying to lift the slice which revealed the tomato pizza sauce beneath all those white cheese pizza toppings. So was little disappointed but I just peeled out the extra cheese and went right in for a bite and man it was good. So may be it was a good thing to mix. hey great thing happen only by accident you see :) Just like every pizza enthusiast, I started comparing to all the pizza's I had in the past to rate this slice but to my surprise it ranked 8th in my top 10. Next time I will order their Margherita pizza and see if it measures up to my expectations. All in all it was an 'ok' experience and nothing to be blown away for me. Yes, I have high standards and I am a critic not your typical consumer/customer.
(2)A.J. C.
I'm not overly impressed by Fellini's but it's good enough for a decent slice and a relaxing lunch. They're very popular though so who cares what I say?
(3)Haley H.
Great pizza and great prices. Pizza is very fresh tasting and slices are large. Service was fast and friendly.
(5)Annie C.
I love Fellini's. It's one of those restaurants that everyone can agree on when you're deciding where to go; delicious, cheap, and they're open late. Did I mention cheap? A slice of pizza is about $2.40 - $4 - depending on how many toppings and the slices are huuuge. Usually a slice is all I need to fill up. My personal favorite is the Hawaiian - minus the ham, adding feta and spinach. YUM; and the staff - at all the locations - have always been friendly and prompt with orders. Who needs anything fancy when you've got Fellini's?
(4)Morgan D.
Fellini's is the best spot to grab a slice of pizza. Such a casual atmosphere and a great patio! They have beers on tap and wine available and the white pizza is amazing. That's all you really need to know!
(5)Catherine S.
Wonderful cheesy pizza! I made the mistake of ordering two slices of pizza and a salad, all which are VERY large in portion which is awesome and meant I had leftovers for later!!! The pile of fresh toppings on the salad and dressing were delicious along with the white pizza and special pizza
(4)Amanda S.
Good pizza, pretty simple but tasty and always fresh. Their patio is awesome and sunny and the service is always friendly.
(3)Kevin L.
Fellini's has some of the best pizza and calzones in town. This is a great place to grab dinner with the family or with your friends. They have several draft beers on tap and a few bottle beers along with some basic wines.
(4)Lili A.
I've finally found a perfect pizza place where the sauce doesn't taste like it just came out the can. And it's supper cheesy just the way I like it
(5)Sarah J.
Awesome pizzas at ALL their locations. Cool and friendly staff and very reasonable prices on both pizza, salads and beer. I'd rather have a Fellini's at every corner rather than a McDonalds for sure. Multi Bene!
(5)Emma W.
The pizza is okay, not amazing but I'm just not a fan of the sauce they use however their salad is beyond amazing, their dressing is fantastic and I always ask for extras when I go so I can use it on my own salads.
(4)Valerie N.
We decided to give Fellini's a try once we realized we hadn't eaten since before we moved to South Africa in 2008. I mean, a 5 year lag is something you gotta fix! We ordered a take-out pizza since we were in the area. Holy smokes, this place was C-RAZY on a Friday night! I had to circle the lot continuously while I waited for hubby to carry out our pie. It smelled amazing the whole drive home. We tore into it right away, but both of us felt it was good, but not great. Perhaps the hype was built up, but it just wasn't as good as either of us remembered. While the toppings were super fresh and tasty, the pizza just wasn't. The crust was tough and chewy, and really lacked good pizza dough flavor. It really seemed like they took an already-baked cheese pizza, added more toppings to it, and then added more cheese and baked again. It just wasn't as good as we recalled. And my heart sank. I really wanted it to be like I remembered and to taste like Elwood's, my fave Brookhaven joint that closed down this past year. But it didn't. I will try again, but may go for something more basic, like the white pie. Or maybe dining in will make a difference.
(3)David P.
Everything about this pizza is good. I even eat the crust, which means it is a good crust since I am not a bread lover.
(4)Carl C.
Amazing pizza! They have a thicker crust option that is perfect. There is plenty of seating and during warm weather, a lot of nice outdoor seating.
(5)Jake A.
A friend from Atlanta brought me here and said this is the best pizza she's found in the city so far; I believe her. A wide selection of thin-crusted, extra cheesy pizzas by the slice and a laid-back environment combine for a great place for a quick bite with friends.
(4)Mary Locke M.
Great cheap pizza in the 'hood! Fellini's is really solid, consistently good pizza for cheap. I always eat in when craving Fellini's, but this time I ordered a veggie pizza to pick up. I was starving and called it in right when they opened at 12:00 and it was ready for pick up 20 minutes later. Their veggie pizza is surprisingly hearty and covered in vegetables. It's not a wimpy/healthy cop out of a pizza that a lot of places serve up. I completely agree that Fellini's is crispier when ordered by the individual slice. Dining in is a very good option when you're looking for something low key or are flying solo. I flip flop between the veggie slice and the spinach & mushroom slice and both are great. If you like pizza with ranch dressing, you will love Fellini's pizza with their Italian dressing. This isn't earth shattering gourmet pizza, but it will certainly never disappoint.
(4)Nia Q.
Consistent and delicious every time, good for late night pizza! Fast and courteous service! Try the fellini's special!
(5)Sweet S.
So sad... used to be my most favorite pizza anywhere. They have opted for different cheese and dough making this pizza taste disgusting now. The change in the cheese quality is most noticeable.... tears...
(2)Scott F.
This place is open till 2AM, so it is the perfect place to go after I chow on some prime muff at the local strip joint, Coranett club. Anyways, their pizza is second to one. And let me tell you, my little sister is a true nut. She drives me pistachios!!! Get it?!?! Nut. Anyway. Fillinis is truly great pizza and nice waiters.
(5)Lindy F.
Ahhhh Fellini's! Deliciousness on a big round metal pan. Fresh ingredients, crispy thin crust, gooey cheese...yes please. This location is a great one for bringing the kids, especially on the way to a movie. Slices as big as your head. My favorite is the spinach and mushroom, but when I want a change, I design my own with pepperoni, black olives, green olives and mushrooms. Yum. I enjoy the house salad - nothing fancy, but oh so good - and two slices (knowing I will be taking the 2nd one home for lunch tomorrow). The service here is best of the locations and I can always get a hard cider if I want. My niece and nephew are Fellini's converts. Maggie loves the cheese pizza, while Will loves creating his own concoctions. They both love it - and now it is a request when they come to town from California. That should tell you something.
(4)Cari S.
My absolute favorite place to get pizza! My boyfriend, and I go at least a few times a week! It's so good!! After eating here, you can't eat just regular pizza from Papa John's anymore. :)
(5)Sri G.
This place has been my go to since moving here. Open late and right down the street. Plus, it's some of the best pizza I've had outside of New York. Very decently priced and delicious every time. I always get the pepperoni/jalapeños... Can't go wrong.
(5)Michelle B.
I love Fellini's pizza! It's always hot and delicious. The calzones are amazing. They have some sort of butter-garlic glaze on the bread that makes it so yummy. I also really love their sicilian pizza. Also, they are open late for those midnight munchies!
(5)Chloe E.
Best pizza by the slice in town. I do think this is their strongest item. Something about the pizza resting and then getting reheated in the super hot oven just puts all the flavors right. I am a purist when it comes to NY style pizza. Only two topping allowed. Cheese and pepperoni. You start adding all that other crazy stuff and you might as well go to Cici's. Salads are also a nice solid choice. They poor heavy with the wine and keep a great beer selection. And they are fast. Because when you want a slice of pizza you want it now. Parking in the location is a bit crazy but around back it gets a little more open.
(5)Shawn M.
I'm done with this bad excuse for a pizza joint. Bland, tasteless dough, sub-par toppings. It's always been hit or miss here but count on it being mediocre at best. You're better off hitting up Papa Johns for a better pie which is just plain sad.
(1)Matt S.

How have I eaten here for almost 5 years and never written a review? Fellini's is one of my go-to spots. It's also famous for a Lauren & Kevin P. $20 date night. We both order a slice, and a pint, and then share a house salad. By sharing, I mean hubby picks off the generous portion of black olives and cheese while I munch on the rest of the veggies. The salad is a great little appetizer because it always comes out promptly whereas if it's a busy night it will take a few minutes for the 'za. The patio at Fellini's is one of the best in Buckhead and great for people watching. The pizza is damn tasty too. Nobody else does a Spinach & Mushroom combo with the right amount of garlic like this joint. Fellini's...I heart you.

Will never go back! The dough wasnt fresh and it was very clear that it had been sitting for to long. The toppings fell right off. This by FAR was the worst pizza I have ever had. If your not going to keep it fresh like it is during the day then please close at night. I have had there pizza during the day and it was great. With that being said stay away from this place at night.

Phone in order What can we get you ? Fellini's Special no olives or peppers add spinach please . Whole pizza or slice ? Slice for pick up . Stephanie ? Yes . You need a total ? For years I lived just down the street I have seen every age group come through these doors . The one thing they all had in common they eat smile and disappear until next time .

I love the simplicity of Fellini's. It's pizza, calzones, and salad at almost any hour. So the pizza isn't the pizza napoletana that has been all the rage these days around Atlanta, but at least it's relatively cheap, and you can order it by the slice. The menu is fairly simple, and ordering at the counter (and getting a placard so they can match you to your order) is an easy process. You can order a slice, two slices, a pie, etc. and top it off with their array of toppings. I'm not a classically trained pizza eater; I just know that one of their salads and a slice of pepperoni and/or a slice of mushroom at 1am can hit the spot beautifully. Speaking of 1am, one the nicest things about this place has to be its hours: open til midnight on Sundays and 2am all other nights.

Pizza- This was my order 1 slice of pepperoni pizza extra pepperoni 2 slices of cheese pizza with extra mushrooms and extra cheese 1 medium pizza pie- half of it margarita and the other half cheese and no sauce WHAT I GOT- 1 slice of extra pepperoni with mushroom without cheese 2 slices of cheese and no sauce 1 medium pizza pie half margarita and the other half extra cheese. I've tried quite a few pizza places in Atlanta and this one takes the pizza pie! You order at the counter and then take a number to your table and wait for the delicious goodness to arrive. You can choose from an array of toppings or choose from one of their special pies. We went with a large -- and large it was! I could barely finish two slices of pizza and usually I can shovel in slice after slice like no tomorrow into my... piehole. We went with a half and half: Half of it was mushroom/spinach/extra cheese (which was one of the specialties) and my husband had meatballs and peppers on his. It was amazing and cheesy and tasty and just the kind of pizza I've been searching for! For example, I never eat my crust (yes, I'm 12), and I left nothing on my plate. The crust was chewy and soft and not just like a hunk of dry bread like most crusts seem to me. We also had a house salad, which is $4.50 and just okay. Lettuce, some olives, tomatoes, shredded cheese... but you don't go here for the salad so that's okay. There's LOTS of outdoor seating. Also, you can get any pizza by the slice, except for the white pizza. Amazing! The service was eh. The girl at the counter was super nice but there was a guy pushing back some chairs and tables and I made a joke with him about snagging one and he didn't respond at all, like he didn't even hear me. And then the person who brought out our pizza and plates just put everything on the table, grabbed our number marker and left. Never said a word. Sooo, I'm not sure if the male employees talk. Anyway, it's now my favoritest pizza place in Atlanta, hands down (and filled with pizza slices!).

Love this place! Great Pizza. Open late. Love sitting outside on a nice night. Love the meatball and gotta get the extra cheese!

This has been my favorite pizza in the whole US for over 15 years. I travel a lot with work but havent found one I like better. Now let me say, if you order pizza by the slice, thats the only way to go here. Their full pies dont get nearly as crispy and it takes away the flavoring. When I first going to this location, the workers were hipsters before being a hipster was cool. Now its a mix of people working there... Order the salad! You will thank me.....

I've tried Fellini's for the first time tonight and its pretty damn good. I work by this spot and until I read the reviews on yelp, I didn't give it a second thought. But I'm happy I chose to go. I like the casualness of the place and the patio is really nice. It was such a chill environment. I ordered a sicilian with italian sausage and regular slice with spinach and garlic. I liked the one with spinach better but the sicilian was good too. The crust was super thick and it may have been the italian sausage that was the star, but no complaints here. The spinach and garlic was very fresh by the way. And great prices. I paid only about 6 dollars and boy, was I full. That sicilian slice alone had me pretty full, but being the food lover I am, I ate both. I'll probably start to frequent this place.

Im hoping if I complain abt the customer service long enough, Fellinis might retrain their employees. The pizza is good and I get carry out a couple of times a month. I wish the guys would stop talking to each other in Spanish while you're trying to order. Last time I went, they pulled my ticket from the order line and one of the guys called another one and was laughing...who knows what or why. I like the pizza, but thats just irritating.

Parking is dicey. Staff is quick and fast. The pizza is terrific.

One of the best pizza places in Atlanta. It's the closest I've found to NY pizza. Don't trust a native Atlantan's opinion on NY pizza? Okay, fine, my boyfriend is from NY and I took him here late one night after a DMB concert and he was most impressed. It was his favorite pizza so far in Atlanta. Large pizza slices, crisp crust, the right amount of sauce and cheese. I love this place. If I take anyone out of town for pizza, it would be here.

I have been to other Fellinis before and never had anything to complain about until I went to the Roswell Rd location. This location is very small, if you go at night it's possible that you won't find a table. It happened to me that I paid for my pizza and was waiting for a table and some people behind me got a table before I did, twice. They didn't even care that I was standing there waiting for a table with my 5 yr old daughter. I had to wait about 15min to 20min for someone to leave after other people took the table that I was supposed to get. I was very annoyed. There is no control over the seating and I think there should be since the place is very small compared to the other ones. The servers don't care either! This girl walked with my pizza but had to return it to the counter because I didn't have a table, but yet she didn't even make the effort to help me get one.

My husband and I stopped in here on Sunday afternoon having heard great reviews from friends of ours. The first issue was in ordering - the employee taking orders and working the register could not speak nor understand English very well. It was difficult to order, ask any questions and he even poured the incorrect beer for my husband. We tried to explain to him that there were TWO Fat Tire beers on draft and he wanted the seasonal one, but the message never got through because of language barriers. We simply gave up out of frustration and just settled for whatever we got. Shortly after we ordered, the place was over-run by a soccer team and it became very loud and noisy. Not the fault of the restaurant, but potential patrons may want to note that if you're looking for a quieter place, this may not be your best choice. The crowning jewel to our dining experience was that the utensils delivered to our table with our pizza were dirty - both a fork and knife had crusty food on them from a previous diner. When I walked up to the counter/kitchen area to ask for more utensils, the employee I approached said "What's the problem?" and I indicated that the utensils were dirty and I would like new ones. Overall, I didn't like the attitude and lack of concern over the customer experience at this restaurant. I also found the food to be average at best. I've had much better pizza elsewhere in Atlanta. Even Mellow Mushroom is better than this place! Needless to say, we won't be back.

Place is open late (considering its Georgia :) ) The Fellinis special pizza is nice. The crust is fab!! I love the crunch and chewiness of the crust, toppings are fresh BUT the Sauce is not good!!!! Today I ordered a hawaiian slice, white slice and my friend ordered the Fellinis special. Her pizza was fresh because it was a pizza pie baked fresh for her-but the sauce tasted like canned tomato sauce- NOT kidding! My white slice and hawaiian slice were a bit disappointing- they take a cheese slice and just slap on the toppings... the cheese they threw on top didn't melt so it was just a semi- melted mass of cheese on top. The white slice and the tomato sauce below it competed with the white slice toppings in a negative way.... This place is ok, but not the best pizza... It will be ok if you are craving a somewhat decent pizza. IF they fix the sauce it will be a game changer! The service was good - people and staff were friendly! :)

This Fellini's has a much more suburban feel to it. Imagine that. As opposed to the college students who frequent the Howell Mill location, this Fellini's plays host to lots of families, many of whom have come from little league practice at nearby Chastain Park. The ingredients are fresh and delicious as always. My usual order is a house salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a slice with spinach and tomato. If I'm feeling particularly gluttonous, I'll get some sausage on it as well. The service is slightly friendlier than other locations. The beer list is just as good. I like the more open feel of this one, with plenty of windows by the booths and, of course, the lovely patio. #Yelp365 - 94/365

The meatballs (pizza topping) are delish. They're not great with half orders - like half mushroom, half pepperoni. They typically mix it all up in a way that you would not want. Call to carry out. No delivery offered. There's a special, (typically) shorter line for carry-out orders. The parking is a bit of a nightmare, so be prepared during major rush times, and on weekends.

Fellini's sets the standard. Pizza places are popping up everywhere in Buckhead and Sandy Springs offering pizza by the slice. None have perfected the pizza by the slice and a great salad like Fellini's. The salad has been the same for decades. Cold lettuce, sliced tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, mozzarella cheese and the tangy Italian dressing. I could eat here everyday.
(5)Melissa K.
Fellini's is open nice and late, so I consider it a "pizza diner". There are a few beers on tap, and the pizzas are pretty good. The cheese is a little much for me, as it is very thick and sort of overpowers every other ingredient on the pie, but I think most people actually like that. The salad is good too if you need something "healthy-ish" to go with the bread and cheese extravaganza. Overall, good, and honestly one of the only things open after midnight.

You've been to one, you've been to them all, regarding the pizza. It's consistently good, and if you order quickly unlike the people who happen to already be drunk at 9pm on a Thursday and are capable of tipping, you'll get your pizza before them! I may also participate in a little trick to score a table while large groups wait to order together...your loss for not thinking half of you should score a table while the other half order! This one...if you come at the wrong time on a Friday or Saturday night, you will also be laughing at the interactions of awkward high school students. I feel odd because this is only 5-6 years ago for me, but it's hilarious to me that the ~cool~ place to go is for pizza. (I don't know if I have room to talk since the choice of options for my friends and I was go try on dresses all over the place. Pizza seems like a better activity, just lacking in the hilarious pictures.) We've had a couple of problems ordering on the phone however...the last time was just too funny. The phone order was placed a couple minutes before 8pm, and the time given was 20 minutes. Show up, and behold, there is no pizza ready and no sign we ever ordered. After some questions, the guy there realizes the order was taken by a girl who left at 8, and he says, I quote exactly, "she's fucking stupid." I could never hate you, Fellini's, ever. Especially when you open up a place next door with amazing froyo. Side note: if you are ever in Chattanooga and miss Fellini's, give Lupi's a try...they are long lost brothers. The guy who opened Lupi's learned his ways from Fellini's. I am only saying this because I'm still mad last time I was there I was craving that pizza the one day a week they aren't open in hopes you read this and go sooner than me. At least Fellini's is there every day, to 2am on most of those days, to provide everyone with tasty pizza...I think I just crave pizza all the time. #Yelp365 - 18/365

My boyfriend got mad bonus points when I found out that he doesn't eat the crust. There couldn't have been a more perfect place to find out this fact than Fellini's-- I could eat their crust all day! It's an easy place to swing by to grab a bite. A big bite of delicious pizza loaded with toppings and fluffy crust. You order at the counter, and they bring freshly baked slices to your table, inside or outside. You can order by slice, so it's easy to try different kinds of pizza, though I wouldn't go for more than 2 or 3 slices (they are huge!). I finished one slice and ate the crust off the second one, and I was FULL. Their ingredients are fresh and generously strewn about. The place is lively and clean. Definitely the place to go when you're in the mood for a sit-down pizza place.

I frequent both the Peachtree Rd and Roswell Rd locations when I want pizza. They both do a great job, with slices or with complete pies. I wish they offered fresh basil, but they don't. The crust is usually excellent, but occasionally I get a tough slice... Very seldom. It's really great pizza 95% of the time. Fresh hot yummy pizza the way it's supposed to be. In spring summer and fall the Peachtree location has a huge patio and fountain and lots of good looking people hang out. So that's a bonus. I mean, that's a bonus if you enjoy hanging out, having a delicious slice and watching the beautiful people!!

I'm a firm believer that a simple, good slice of pie is among life's great pleasures. So I was indeed pleased when, on a recent family visit to Atlanta, my bro and sis-in-law recommended Fellini's for dinner one night. My brother had described this place as a "hometown-y pizza joint," and I think that's an apt description. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor patio with bare-bones tables/chairs and some nice twinkle lights, and inside, the vibe is pleasantly retro: The menu above the counter looks like it was hand-written sometime in the '70s (that's a good thing), and the "kitchen" is basically right next to it, so you can actually witness the pizzas and calzones and other delicious treats as they're being assembled. We ordered a pizza to go during the height of the dinner rush yet only had to wait 10-15 minutes, and while we did, we parked our fannies in a couple of wait-chairs by the door, listened to the bouncy radio station they had on, and people-watched. It's a very active and inviting atmosphere. As for the pizza itself, it honestly hit all the boxes on my pizza checklist: Piping hot, full of melty but slightly browned cheese, enough sauce for flavor but not so much that it drips off, and crust that's crispy enough on bottom to support the pizza but still chewy when you bite into it. Sure, it's greasy, but in a satisfyingly hometown-y way. A large cheese pie was less than $15, which is relatively cheap considering it provided dinner for three people. If we'd bought drinks and sides (Fellini's appeared to have a good beer selection, and they offered a few starters) it could have gotten a bit more expensive, but -- like I said -- I think that good pizza can and should be the main event. I'll definitely request this place as a dinner stop on subsequent visits to the ATL, and I enjoyed the simple cheese enough that I'd definitely branch out and try some other pies, perhaps by the slice (as many other reviewers have suggested. Thanks, guys!).

I've been to this location a few times because its only a few minutes away from where I work. I have always liked Fellini's and the entire story of their family. 4 brothers 3 open pizza shops and the other decides to open Fat Matt's. I wonder who is more successful? anyway. I don't like this location. The service is way to slow and a lot of times I am in a rush and need to keep it moving. TIME IS MONEY PEOPLE! and especially if you are in the pizza industry. People walk in grab a slice and go. That simple. The pizza taste great of course but with that said it should not taste great it should be exquisite. Will I eat here again? yes, but I will always come on my days off with friends when I have more TIME.

I may be underrating this because of my expectation, but I was not terribly impressed. So many people told me that this was AMAZING, but I found it to be average. I took my family from out of town here on my first visit, and we all came away unimpressed, and confused as to how people could scream from the heavens about how amazing this place was. My only guess is that it is a wonderful place to put a few back and enjoy a few slices of pizza, but overall it was just your average pizza place, nothing special.
(3)Jacob P.
Great Pizza! Both occasions we got carry out at this location. We have stuck with Pepperoni the first visit. The 2nd visit was Pepperoni and Italian Sausage. Both were fantastic and we had a 15 minute drive to get home. The restaurant is crowded every time I go, but they are very efficient at getting you taken care of and out the door. The sign of a great restaurant is the ability to consistently deliver on your product and service, while keeping the place clean! lol. It met and exceeded all three. I love going to Fellini's. I have to try their Sicilian pizza, we always call in without looking at a menu, so I forget that they have that pizza there. Looking forward to my next visit at Fellini's!
(5)Alison B.
This is the closest place for pizza to my house and I do feel lucky as I can swing by on my way home from work, order 1-2 slices to go and in about 10 minutes be on my way with dinner (plus a bit for breakfast the next day - pizza is my only exception to the 'no leftovers' rule) for less than $6! I request that they bake the slices to a well done/ extra hot temperature as I prefer the pepperoni fairly crispy and the cheese slightly browned and beautifully bubbly. They are always happy to oblige without batting an eye. The only thing I have tried that I did not like was the sausage, it is not a ground or crumbled sausage, but thick Italian slices and I found it to be too heavy and meaty, even for an avowed carnivore like me.

I will preface my review with the fact that I am not a pizza person (or anything Italian) but on occasion when the rest of my friends or coworkers want it I will go along with the popular vote as my hunger commands. I had a calzone once that really was spectacular. I dreamed about it for days after. I had it again 3 weeks later and it was nothing like the first time. I couldn't even eat a quarter of it. It was a little heartbreaking after I was so impressed the first time. I saw another reviewer say it's either overdone or underdone and I share that thought. I've had a slice here and there of pizza that friends have ordered over the years and found it utterly forgettable. At this point it's just about location and it's essentially a landmark in Buckhead now like the big chicken is in Marietta. You go because it's there, not because it's particularly good. It's a good location but I'd keep driving to find a better slice.
(3)Anton F.
Very good calzones.
(4)Stephen G.
I ordered a calzone for lunch today and it was awesome. As I cut into it, the cheese started to ooze out the side. It looked almost like a TV commercial except that it wasn't and there were no photography tricks making this happen. It was real and actually happening on my plate. Service was prompt and plenty of seating both inside and outside. My ONLY complaint about this place is that they only had one tiny bottle of hot sauce in the entire restaurant. Get some Cholula on every table and you're all set.
(4)Tyler B.
Fellini's is pretty good. They have a great brand in the metro Atlanta area. I've been going to Fellini's for as long as I've lived in the city. The atmosphere brings me back more than the pizza. Let me explain. The Fellini's on Roswell Road has a great patio with fans and a superbly air conditioned inside. They usually always play good music, and the staff is great. But why 3 stars? The pizza is incredibly greasy. I'm not hating on Fellini's, that's just how they make their pizza. The center of the pizza is almost always a sloppy, soggy, mess. I'm not a pizza maker, so i'm not exactly sure what they need to do to fix this, but ask Papa John's, i'm sure he'll tell you how (I uploaded a picture of what i'm talking about). Also, there's almost always a line during dinner time on the weekends. Parking is limited and you will get towed across the street. I still keep coming back, so they're doing something right....right? If they could get the soggy center taken care of -- you'd have 4 stars...i can deal with the lines and parking.
(3)Laura H.
White pizza + house salad (no olives) = instant happiness... seriously. This location is always buzzing, the prices are right, and the people are hard-working and friendly!
(4)Amadi J.
I fell in love with Fellini's Pizza with the first bite. The location is perfect for me so whenever I have a little craving its just a skip and a jump to satisfying it. Also after a night with my friends..this is always one of the only places still opened. The service is cool and most of all its just a great place to fill my belly and hang out with friends.
(4)Ross B.
I always order a cheese (no feta), mushroom, and banana pepper calzonne. The marinara sauce is magnificent. Although it's not the healthiest thing to get, it's worth spluring on when I deserve the treat.
(4)Lucile D.
I really enjoyed Fellinis.. My first visit was to sit in the restaurant and I just got a slice. First I loed watching the employees, I have missed the west coast color of tattoos and folks that appear to live on the fringe (Atlanta seems very vanilla)... Fellinis felt relaxed, open, and different. My slice was tasty, it came out fresh tasting, piping hot, with crisp edges and a warm soft center- perfecto. About a week later we ordered a pie to bring home and it was a little less tasty that toasted crispy edge seemed to have gotten lost on the drive home but could perhaps be revived by 10 min. in the oven on a pizza stone. Overall good pizza, would recommend it and go back.
(3)Kevin L.
Oh fellinis. Lunch, dinner, late night, you are always packed and always there to remind me of high school. Always crowded with both local high schoolers and white collar workers, fellinis is delicious and really really cheap. Just a couple bucks for a huge slice of pizza. I was never too crazy about it when I first heard all of the hype but you eventually cave in and start to love it. For some reason, the pizza usually gives me bad stomach aches, but I can deal with them to eat a slice or too. Try the Sicilian crust, it's fluffy and big. As others have said, and I'll have to take my friends' word on it, but their salads also seem to be world class. If you need a place to hangout, go here. If you want some pizza, go here. In summary, go here.
(4)Caitlin L.
I swore I had written a review on Fellinis!! I use to live right next door to the Ponce location so it was definitely convenient and their late hours are a total plus. Unfortunately we began exploring other pizza joints and quickly realized that while Fellini's was convenient it was sub-par. I came to this location recently and was quickly reminded why we stopped coming here for pizza. It's not that the pizza is over/undercooked or overly greasy. I have one problem with Fellini's and that is that they seem to cook their pizza and then after it is completely done they throw the toppings your ordered on top. They don't coat them with cheese midway through to get the proper cheesy-veggie mix. Nope they just throw them on top. So in effect, you have a cooked piece of pizza with raw veggies on top. I suppose if I was a raw vegetarian this would work (minus the whole cooking of the actual pizza). If you're not going to cook the toppings then why cook it at all??? Go down the street to Camelli's or Village Pizza.

Well, I'm a little out of my regular neighborhood, but I had to stop here to eat yesterday. Was in Va-Hi so on my way home, I went up Roswell Rd. to one of most favorite Pizza joints! Had my Fav, a slice of White pizza, salad and a cold 420 Draft. LOVED IT! The pizza was cheesy, hot and garlicy, just perfect! The salad was good, but not what I remember. (I eat here only about once per year). The Salad was good, but not nearly the quantity of toppings as in the past. Vertually no cheese on it, but still very good. Great outdoor patio to sit on and relax. A great place for delicious pizza and beer! Great place to eat. Great outdoor covered patio!

What can I say, I have been going to Fellini's since the early '80s. It isn't fancy but it's a staple. L5P, Garden Hills, Collier or this location it doesn't matter because they are all good and unique in their own way. The only thing they need to do is bring back The Coolies!!!!!! (Hey Clay that's for you!)
(5)Christian B.
I used to really like this place. Now it seems you get two choices when it comes to the food: overcooked or undercooked. The decline started when the staff turned over about a year or so ago. The pizza crust got thicker, the sauce got watery and the cooking times never seemed right, no matter whether you got a pie or a calzone. As you can imagine, consistency has also become a problem. Last night, for instance, I got the tiniest calzone I'd ever had at Fellini's. It was almost half the size of Nova's calzone and a good quarter of it was just bread, no fillings. As I worked my way through the slightly undercooked hot pocket, I went from bread to mostly cheese to a huge salty clump of pepperoni at the end. And for whatever reason, this seems to be the new norm. It's like whomever makes the calzones is some toppings George Wallace who's vehemently opposed to ingredient integration. The pizzas have also devolved to a point where I won't even order them anymore. Which is a shame, because I used to love running up here for a pie. The gooey cheese and tangy sauce made Fellini's the best pizza I'd found in Atlanta. Now, however, it's a distant third or fourth on my list. Mostly for all the reasons I stated above. Of course, Fellini's does have some good points and it's those that keep us coming back every now and then. For starters, this Fellini's has a huge covered patio. While the view consists largely of adjacent parking lots, it is nice to be able to sit outside on a pleasant night. Furthermore, Fellini's is pretty cheap, too. Typically, Nova and I can get two calzones and two soft drinks for around $15. To be honest though, we really only come here now when we can't be bothered to drive more than five minutes for dinner. For us, coming to Fellini's these days is more about convenience than taste. And that's what's sadly changed me from a satisfied regular to a disappointed "irregular."
