I have been to Endive five times or so since it opened. it is across the street from home so it is very convienient. It is a small restarant that can be a little difficult to find. Its off Deering Road NW. (It is not in Atlantic Station) It was opened recently in a building also occupied by a caterer that I understand has been in business many years. What I love about the place is the inimate nieghborhood feel and the GREAT food and service. I have had all of the large plates and many of the small plates. The salmon is especially good. Cooked to the proper temp which is not always easy to find, and for $14.00. Portion sizes are perfect. I often sit at the bar and Dana pours a perfect cocktail. The bar is not extensive but sufficient. The chicken served over greens is also very good. Plating is superb. This is a place you could go several times per week but it is only open Thursday-Saturday. Often I have thought of it on nights it is not open. It is not too trendy and loud although more and more people are discovering the great food and reasonable prices. The staff calls me by name now which I will say is not easy to come by in Atlanta I find. The manager Tony is terrific and attentive. If there is a problem he works it out. Endive is well run with consistent staff. Endive House is what I look for in a neighborhood reastaurant. Great flavorful food that I could not do at home, a great cocktail, and priced where I can go at least weekly. I highly reccomend a visit, especially to those of my nieghbors in Brookwood Hills. You are missing a treat if you have not been.

I have now been to Endive Publik a couple of times and LOVE it. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. This past time, I thought I had a reservation but when we got there, my name was not on the books. We left and went somewhere else, but then the next day, I took my father there again since I love the place so much. We had an early dinner with desert and at the end, the manager came over and let us know that the meal was completely comped. He said he felt terrible the night before and that I looked so disappointed so he was so happy we came back in. My father and I were both very surprised and appreciative. Most restaurants would never do something like this. It really shows you how nice they are and appreciative of your business. I would definitely recommend this to anyone! My favorite item on the menu is the duck pizza (it's really a flat bread) and the Korean beef. Both are delish!

Just visited endive Publik house for the first time for my 3 year anniversary and it was wonderful! I used to pass by there all of the time and never got a chance to try it. It very cozy and the decor is rustic so a dinner for two seemed perfect at this place. After reading some reviews, I made reservations and glad I did. When I got there, almost every table was filled and when I left, every was filled and they were almost full at the bar. On to the food though. For the appetizer, we got the crab cakes and they were scrumptious. The sauce they have it with is SOO good with the crab cakes, I wish I could have more. For the entrée, I ordered the paprika pork tenderloins with the peach sauce and YUM! It was cooked to perfection and I have a sweet tooth so I loved the sauce. I also had the asiago potatoes and I must say they are perfect pair with the pork tenderloins. My boyfriend ordered the salmon and that was also cooked to perfection. Very moist and a great flavor. To top things off, the manager came by our table to tell us happy anniversary and that he was glad we could celebrate with them at endive. Was very sweet and thoughtful of him! Overall, I would come back and try some of their other dishes just because I know they would all be great. Worth the visit though and is a must try if in Atlanta!

Chef drew must have decided that running a top notch catering business wasn't enough! He opened up his own kitchen for us to dine with him. Amazing atmosphere that is tucked away in Loring heights. I am looking forward to spending many evenings here having a few drinks and some calamari fries. Don't miss out on the experience at this future landmark. ... Endive also catered our wedding and did a spectacular job of pulling off our impossible menu. Looking forward to many more events to come. ...... Kudos to Keith summerour for designing such a wonderful space to have a restaurant.

The service and ambiance at Endive can't be beat. The owners take great pride in their food and the experience that they provide. There are a lot of price points on the menu so you can have a great meal without spending a lot. Each time we go we get a variety of appetizers and split them and have a few drinks. Always a great time.

A hidden gem! The outside of the building is a bit sketchy but once you walk inside its a completely different feel. Rustic and eclectic but classy. The black truffle cremini mushroom dip is delicious paired with root vegetable chips. If you like fish, the bass is phenomenal. It's light but filling and very flavorful. The owner came by our table to talk to us and he was so pleasant and appreciative of us stopping by for a meal.

This restaurant gets 5 Stars for the best food, excellent waitstaff & great atmosphere. We are a dinner club & we refer a lot of restaurants to people but Endive will be the 1st restaurant that we recommend!Chef Drew came to our table to make sure we enjoyed everything & he was so nice! Our waitress Meg has such a great personality & did a wonderful job accommodating us ! We didn't have to request anything because she was ahead of the game. When you visit Endive it certainly won't be your last, you will fall in love just like we did!
(5)Tony D.
Great little location hidden away from Atlantic Station. Google Maps on the night we were there had it located in Atlantic station, but it's actually much further away, closer to the Monday Night Brewing. Excellent value for the quality and unique nature of the food you receive there. Nice selection of Craft beer available also. Parking can be a hassle... No real waiting area, but it's worth a visit!

My wife, our young daughter, and I visited Endive Publik House last weekend. While we weren't exactly strangers to Chef Drew's food - Endive catered our wedding reception, as well as my sister's - it was our first time in the restaurant since we went to sample their catering menu. They did not disappoint. Our evening started with the calamari fries, and the spinach-strawberry salad that won us over during the catering "audition." The salad was as good as we remembered. We were also delighted to see that an addition we requested for our wedding, pomegranate seeds, were present. The calamari fries were just spectacular. Perfect texture, deliciously breaded, great sauces. For entrees my wife went with the tenderloin and I went with the fried lobster tails. They added a nice comic touch when they brought out a knife that looked straight out of a 1980s B-movie slasher flick for my wife's steak. Then the steak came out, and needed no more than a fork to eat because it was so tender. Our server told us after we ate that the staff calls their tenderloin "meat butter." My fried lobster tails were certainly good, but in retrospect I feel like I should've gone with something more adventurous. I enjoyed the combination of the crunch and the buttery/flaky flesh, though. And I hadn't had lobster in a while. They capped off the evening with a dessert sampler that consisted of an apple-cinnamon crisp, a chocolate peppermint whoopee pie, and an egg nog crème brulee. The crisp was well-executed. The whoopee pie was the second-best dessert of that type I've had, after the Mexican chocolate one sold at Casseroles on North Highland. The crème brulee was just off the charts good and made us glad we saved it for last. Prices were very reasonable, too. They offer every wine on the menu (from what I remember) by the glass, too. And that scrumptious dessert sampler? Six bucks. Overall I highly recommend Endive Publik House. I have a feeling we'll be going back frequently.

As much as I love EPH, they totally destroyed our evening tonight. No record of our 7:30PM reservation made by telephone yesterday morning. Told we'd have to wait until 9:30. Bad form, Endive! I may go back, but I'll call and double-check, then triple-check our reservation. Drew, Tony, perhaps it's time to invest in an online reservation system, like Opentable.

Let me just say that my husband and I were really excited to see Endive convert their event space into the Publik House! Since they were doing catering business only, there was no way to have their food casually. Endive was our wedding's caterer, and from tasting to the wedding dinner buffet, they were super down to earth, warm, and just charming...they really tried to find a way to fit our budget, and food was one thing that every guest at the wedding raved about! Very creative menu & very flavorful. It was hard for us to choose specific number of items because there were so many good dishes. We've also seen their event space and knew their atmosphere. We definitely had a good feeling about going there even before steeping out of the house. Endive Publik House opened not too long ago. So when we called to check how busy the restaurant was, they said they are not full at all...but I am pretty sure that's going to change as soon as more people find out about this place. Interior decor is very nice. They use a lot of wood & dark colored decor. It is not a large place, so it is very intimate. Very classy & perfect for a quiet date night, but they are totally about the relaxed atmosphere too so you can show up in your casual outfit or bring kids. Not sure about the booster seats & high chairs...so you might want to check on that if you need one. Parking is free & probably enough spaces for the restaurant size...some spaces are not flat because of tree roots making the ground a little "wavy". Watch your step! It's in a very low-key area. They are the only eating establishment in that block as far as I know. Food is, of course, amazing! Flavoring/style is similar to Canoe (they are one of our favorite restaurants) in one sense, but pricing is more reasonable. Main dishes in mid-teen $ range. For drinks, their wine selection is bigger than the beer selection. There is a bar counter (which looks really nice), and you can just hang out and order some yummy cocktails created too. Overall, this is an excellent "sit-down and enjoy the dining experience" spot & a wonderful addition to Midtown West-ish area.
(5)Rebecca B.
The food here is great and service is very helpful with suggestions! We like sitting at the bar (great bar tender) and are so glad to have somewhere to walk to in Loring Heights. The prices are amazing for the quality. The only thing a little off is the music! It doesn't fit the modern look of the place. My husband I are zoning out and about to fall asleep to the droning music. We would stay longer if there were some upbeat tunes!
(4)Emily M.
Love love love!!! Been coming here for a year and I cannot say anything negative. The drinks are amazing and the food is to die for!!
(5)Gregory D.
Creative, delicious dishes for very reasonable prices. The cocktail menu needs some work to match up to the quality of the food.
(4)Renee H.
I will definitely be back. This resturant had a simple menu that was elegant yet had a great presentation Our entire experience was fabulous from beginning to end. Our server excellent !!!
(5)Ellis G.
Great dining. Hidden gem. Make reservations as seating is limited. This was our second visit for a family celebration. Very attentive staff. Food is creative and we love their small plates. Miniature crab cakes, smoked duck pizza and Thai chicken won ton tacos were all fantastic. For larger plates we had the burning glazed salmon, seared pork tenderloin and sea bass. We shared plates and each of the three of us had a different favorite of those dishes... They were all exceptional. We will be back!
(5)Ming F.
Ordered the chicken wonton tacos as appetizer, not much chicken mostly are vegetables. For entrees we ordered Korean BBQ and chicken breast, the chicken breast is really juicy, Korean BBQ is all right. In a word, food is all right. The atmosphere is really nice, a really nice date place.
(3)Jeremy R.
This place is perfect! I have 0 criticisms. Just hope it stays a quasi secret. Great place for a solo dinner at the bar, office party in the private room, or a romantic date. Can't say enough nice things about Endive!
(5)Michael S.
Best kept secret on the Atlanta restaurant scene. Comfortable, cozy room. Great bar with food and cocktails to match. Excellent service. You want to be a regular here.
(5)pat h.
This restaurant is a gem in the Loring Heights neighborhood. The menu is fabulous and a wonderful extension of an already well known catering business. Chef Drew has an amazing presentation of exquisite appetizers and entrees that will not disappoint you. I have been several times with friends and clients and everyone is truly impressed. The bar has incredible concoctions that you do not want to miss. Truly an enjoyable evening destination.
(5)Jon-Michael M.
Wow! If I could have taken the food out on a date, I would have! This place is a must try. It's run by Chef Drew Ihrig. Very humble and approachable guy, and he comes out and meets and greets the people....classy! The food is amazing. If you go, try the Ethnic Root Vegetable Chips with Black Truffle and Cremini Mushroom Dip.....absolutely savory and the flavors hit your taste buds at just the right moment! You cannot go wrong with the Bourbon-Glazed 7oz Salmon Filet cooked in a heavy medium slaw and malanga nettle. Did I mention affordable? How does an appetizer, 2 entrees and beverages for $49 sound? For fine dining, you can't beat that! Customer service was great, and our Server was very attentive. I will definitely be back.
(5)Mary J.
Food outstanding but atmosphere was horrible --so hot!! We asked them to address the lack of air and they had no solution . It's a shame but I would not go back it was so hot and uncomfortable that it took away from the good food Also we had made a reservation but they didn't have a record of it We had to pull out our confirmation to prove it Let us know when they get these things addressed and we may go back
(1)George A.
Tony and Shamus were terrific. Bar experience and expertise could be better. Food is excellent value and amazing quality. Duck pizza is wonderful, calamari is the best and the freshest! We had the Salmon and the Chicken. Excellent food. Dessert was interesting and fun. We will definitely be back.

endive Publik house is one of those restaurants that everyone needs to know about. I went on a Friday night, and the first thing I noticed was that it was a full house. Luckily, I had made a reservation and was seated within 5 minutes of arriving. The food itself was spectacular. We started off with the calamari fries, which were some of the best I have ever had. I normally expect calamari rings/fries to be really scrawny, but these were really juicy. The garlic tomato and red pepper sauce were the icing on the cake. We then had paprika-seared pork tenderloin and aged local beef tenderloin. The pork tenderloin was delicious, but the peach sauce was a little bit too sweet for me, which is saying a lot considering I have a sweet tooth. The beef tenderloin was well-charred and juicy. The best part about this was the winning combination of textures - the crunchiness of the sweet potato nettle, the chewiness of the beef, and the softness of the mashed potatoes. The service was REALLY slow, but I'll let it slide because of how busy they were and how much our waiter acknowledged this and paid attention to us. Finally, this restaurant has a touch of class while not being too pretentious.
(4)Julie S.
I came for appetizers and drinks on a Thursday at 6pm. The place was quiet and empty so we got a great feel of the space. I tried the black truffle cremini mushroom dip and the thai chicken wonton tacos- both were phenomenal and I definitely can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!
(5)Sheril K.
Great apps, but then... they forgot our entrees. They were very sweet about it though, and they comped us our apps and drinks. I'll give them another try in a few months, when the front of house is more in order.
(3)Ron G.
Have had two amazing dinners here and love the creative variety for a very fair price. Wine selections are varied and eclectic - just what Atlanta needs, a cozy, intimate space that doesn't have to spoil your wallet because of a million dollar design tab. Truly, a neighborhood spot that we will frequent often. Brought my son to one early dinner and no problems. Staff is warm, knowledgable and waiting to spoil. Can't say enough about Chef Drew and this location!
(5)Christina R.
Just had a great meal at Endive Publik House. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the fried green tomatoes with goat cheese. Hubby and I were both very happy with our meals (the pork tenderloin and the salmon). We also shared the butternut squash au gratin on the side. So good! We'll definitely be back!
(5)Kathryn w.
Adorable decor, great staff, delicious food and awesome prices. We will be back!
(5)Katy H.
I took my grandparents here and we all were very impressed with the dining experience. The pork tenderloin was my favorite but my grandfather said the sea bass was the best he has ever had which says a lot for an old salty sailor like him! They had excellent gluten free options as well!
(5)Tess B.
Chef Drew- thank you so much for opening up this restaurant! Great atmosphere & decor and the food is of course delicious! Definitely try the duck pizza & fried green tomatoes. I will be taking all of my friends here!
(5)A C.
Living just around the corner, this was my favorite place to stop by when I felt like treating myself to an amazing meal. Whenever my friends need a dinner place this is my first recommendation. When my friends parent's visit from out of town, they typically went to another well known Atlanta restaurant and were planning to go there one particular Saturday night. On Friday, the four of us were getting together and I suggested Endive. Everyone in the family liked it so much they went Friday and Saturday! This will be their new tradition and is testament of how great the food and service is. Be sure to order the dessert sampler - easy to share and never disappoints!
(5)Melle G.
Endive Publik House! Soooo happy this fine, well-established, solid kitchen opened their restaurant in this neighborhood. A little gem. Chef Drew has long proven his talent and skills with the quality catering cuisine of Endive. You're in it for a treat. Drinks are good, food is good, place it super nice, it's a safe bet. Oh and the desert sampler is just the cherry on top :)
(4)Mark C.
Thursday night was our first visit...and we had made reservations for our next visit before we left. The food and service were outstanding...and all was reasonably priced. This will definitely be one of our regular places to visit!!!
(5)Tiffany M.
Just tried Endive for the first time and was extremely impressed. The food was fantastic - we had the fried green tomatoes and breads as an appetizer. For meals we had the paprika pork tenderloin and Korean beef (they were both SO good). Tried the dessert sampler and of course tried a few custom cocktails (not on the menu - bartender, Chris' creations). Loved everything including the decor and atmosphere and will definitely be back soon to try more! Love new Atlanta restaurants!
(5)Joe K.
Absolutely love this place. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and inspired food and drinks! Everything we tasted was absolutely delicious. The menu has a wonderful variety, but you really cannot go wrong. I also love that this place is tucked away in the neighborhood of Loring Heights, just north of Atlantic Station.
(5)Jackie K.
Love this place. The hummus trio and all vegetable sides are amazing. Cloudy bay is cheap too!
(5)Janie H.
Oh My GOD!! We live in the neighborhood and dropped in last night for dinner after a movie at Atlantic Station. MAN...were we blown away!! The space is soooo cozy, the staff VERY helpful and the food ranks right up there with the finest restaurants in Atlanta! Presentation is so impressive you might hesitate to actually eat the treat! You don't need to spend a fortune on a five course prix fixe meal to impress your guests or yourself. One of the finest food finds in Atlanta in a REALLY long time!
(5)Rebecca S.
This place was amazing. We read the reviews and even though I didn't previously know the chef, I am now a fan. We had the beef tenderloin dinner and the pork tenderloin dinner. The beef was perfect, tender, and wolfed down. Pork was falling apart, and with the peaches and "glaze" had extra flavor. Mini baked potatoes were good...strange flavor sprinkled on top of them. The greens were absolutely the best I've ever had...and I know what I'm talking about. I nearly forked my boyfriend in the hand and had to resist committing violence for these greens. They're cooked to perfection in some sort of magical broth that tastes somewhat like onion soup and heaven. Prices were reasonable, decor was minimal but cool. Totally a 5 star rating.
(5)Andrea T.
Being a fan of Endive Catering, I was super excited when I found out they were opening their own restaurant. Chef Drew is great, he takes care of using top ingredients in his dishes and it shows. The space is really nice and cozy and not in a main street or busy neighborhood, which I really like. Service is also really good. Great place for a nice dinner!
(4)Joni T.
After shopping at Atlantic Station, my sister and I were looking for a place that serves good food and cocktails. The reviews were promising and lived up to the hype! It was a Saturday night at 7:30 and we didn't have a reservation...but the bar served full menu and we sat immediately. We shared three small plates (well, four if you count the second round of fried green tomatoes - SO delicious!). Then at the bartender's insistence (it didn't take much to convince us), we shared the dessert plate. Three sinfully scrumptious samples of chef's choice. The waffle dessert was heavenly! All in all, we're glad we stumbled across this find and look forward to planning our return visit!
(5)Dalora S.
What more can you want than quality food in a refined yet laid back environment? The calamari fries were satisfyingly crunchy without being heavy. The red pepper dipping sauce was the best thing I've tasted in a while. The korean bbq beef roast was the most delicious, tender roast I've had that was not cooked for 5 hours by my mother.
(4)Suzanne W.
I was pleasantly surprised! Let me start with my arrival. I bout almost passed this place...because the sign was blocked by a tree. Luckily I saw the letter 'e' and assumed it was it. I pull in and there's barely any parking. I was lucky enough to find someone leaving as I was entering. I made a reservation for my friend and I on a weekday. I'm actually glad I did. The place was really small...BUT so cute and quaint. The server was good. The food looked and tasted good. The place was a little dark...but I'm ok with that. We ordered some of the small plates and an entree to share. Enjoyed everything...however...we kind of wished the calamari was a little different. The grits 'looked' bland...BUT...it definitely had good flavor. We enjoyed this place and would def recommend it. =)

endive Publik house is a New American restaurant that opened in Loring Heights, behind Atlantic Station, in March 2014. It's only open three nights a week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and was born from endive fine catering, a successful, more than decade-old, Atlanta catering company. As I was told by a server, both the restaurant and catering business are run out of the same kitchen on Mecaslin. Even on nights when the restaurant is open, endive has a separate set of catering staff working around town. Despite the name, endive isn't your typical American pub (or public house). It's a quaint and cozy restaurant, tucked away among trees in a residential neighborhood. The chef/owner put a lot of the restaurant's terrific-looking interior together. This includes intricate-weave basket light fixtures, old pews from a Decatur church repurposed as banquettes, an old train cart from Kirkwood now used as a tabletop, an old piano used as shelving and decor for bottles at the bar, and reclaimed wood from a barn in North Georgia installed as a bar top. The restaurant isn't very big. At capacity, the dining room, bar, and private dining room can seat roughly 70 customers comfortably. There are a few intimate and romantic two-top tables across from the bar. These neat tabletops are cut from tree trunks. One of them is in the shape of a heart. Every table has a candle and a unique centerpiece made with a flower and leafy vegetable. The private dining room has a long table that seats 8-10 people and a window that looks into the kitchen. The beautiful table is made from bubinga (African rosewood). Due to its popularity and limited hours, reservations are recommended. The restaurant has a small parking lot. If no spots are available, you can street park along Mecaslin. The menu has a nice selection of both small plates/sides and large plates. Small plates, salads, and sides range in price from about $4-8 each and large plates are anywhere from about $12-32 each. The dishes are original and creative with exceptional plating and exquisite presentation. For the level of food and service, the prices are reasonable. Here's what I've tried: Small Plates: * Fried green tomatoes with roasted bell pepper sauce and goat cheese * Calamari French fries with roasted garlic tomato sauce and red pepper sauce * Smoked duck on a thin crust pizza with fig jam, caramelized onion, dark blue cheese Salads: * Classic Caesar salad, Asiago frico chip, center-cut Romaine hearts, tomatoes, aged Parmesan Sushi: * California roll - smoked salmon, crab roll, avocado, cucumber, and cream cheese Large Plates: * Aged local beef tenderloin, potato mash, sweet potato nettle * Smoked paprika-seared pork tenderloin, roasted apples, savory peach sauce * Bourbon-glazed 7 oz. salmon fillet cooked a heavy medium, slaw, malanga nettle * Korean BBQ-glazed local beef chuck roast, braising vegetables * Soy dijon-roasted, bone-in, skin-on HRF chicken breast, apple cider greens Sides: * Mini twice-baked creamer potato, Asiago and chive, crusted with panko bread crumbs * Roasted butternut squash gratin, aged Gruyere cheese, thyme * Local stone-ground grits, aged cheddar, butter, cream * Shoestring French fries topped with grated Parmesan and black truffle oil Generally, I've found many of the foods to be unpleasantly overseasoned or too salty. Of the small plates, my favorite is the savory smoked duck pizza. I like how the pizza is cut into mini bite-size slices. The fried green tomatoes are OK, though too tart and greasy for my taste. The calamari fries are thick, but soggy. I like how the Caesar salad is presented with Romaine hearts stacked up and a frico wafter on top. Dressing is both drizzled on the plate and hidden within the lettuce. Unfortunately, I think there's too much dressing and I'm not particularly fond of the salty aged Parm. endive's sushi rolls remind me of Korean gimbap, which are similar to sushi rolls, but contain other ingredients such as pickled radish. The large plates steal the show. Both the beef tenderloin and salmon fillet feature "nettles" which are web-like crisps for aesthetics and added crunch. The beef tenderloin, which I tried cooked rare, is phenomenal. It's incredibly soft and has fantastic flavor. The salmon fillet is big and filling. Both the pork tenderloin and the Korean BBQ-glazed chuck steak are fatty, but gratifying. The chuck steak comes with two Asian-style bao (buns). The chicken breast is tender and juicy. The accompanying collards are slightly sweet and smoky. Of the sides, the stone-ground grits are the best. The grits are lusciously creamy and rich. The twice-baked creamer potatoes are interesting because the cream is on the inside of the taters. The butternut squash gratin has an expectedly mushy texture and is quite sweet. The shoestring fries are alright. The truffle oil is subtle, but noticeable. Service is excellent. Everyone from the manager to bartender to servers are great.

Simply put: Excellent food, very good liquor, Very high quality food, and service, excellent atmosphere, no killer pricing, out of the way, but worth it. The filet, salmon, pork chop, Korean BBQ, just to name a few are going out one's way to get to Endive is better than worth it. This is one my top restaurants in the Metro Atlanta area that I will keep coming back too for the above reasons. Tony (the manager) and his servers will make sure everything is just right. The desert is only one choice...."the nightly special". Absolutely yummy
(5)Kin C.
Right behind Atlantic Station in a part of town that you would not expect a decent restaurant is this gem. Very rustic decorations, friendly service and really good food. This is my wife's favorite place in Atlanta. Ingredients are fresh and preparation is not heavy or greasy in the least. Desserts are of the perfect portion for sampling and sharing.

A couple of my girlfriends and I decided on Endive as a last-minute dinner on Saturday night. I made a reservation online at around 4pm, but they ask for you to call to confirm availability if you make same-day reservations. I called, and they were very nice and accommodating for our group. They were unable to host us at my requested time of 7:30, so the gentleman suggested his next opening, 9:30. When we arrived, there were plenty of parking spaces open in their side parking lot. We ventured in and our table was not yet ready, but we only waited about 10 minutes for the patrons to finish their meal. We were seated and enjoyed fantastic, attentive service throughout. Since it was a first experience for all of us, we wanted to try a variety of plates. We ordered the: ethnic root vegetable chips, Thai chicken wonton tacos, smoked duck on a thin crust pizza, calamari French fries, heirloom tomatoes salad, and sides of the grits, roasted butternut squash gratin, and mini twice-baked creamer potato. We topped the meal with a dessert sampler. Needless to say, we ended up with way too much food, but most everything was a hit! The only thing I would probably not order again is the calamari because it was a bit over-salted and was served with typical sauces. It failed to stand out compared to everything else we ordered. The vegetable chips are definitely a must and at $4, I wonder how this place pulls it off! I also loved the wonton tacos, smoked duck pizza, grits, and roasted butternut squash, oh--and the potatoes. Okay, I really loved everything! In short, Endive is a fancy-schmancy looking restaurant oozing with modern class, fantastic service, and somehow executes delicious food at average prices. Truly as good as it gets!

A must stop in Atlanta. It looks like a little house but inside it's a great relaxed fine dining. Each dish has a story and our server was great.
(5)Stef T.
This is one of best restaurants I've been to in Atlanta. They are only open three days a week, and function as a catering business the rest of the time. Small, family run business. It's tucked away on a side street off Deering Road near Atlantic Station. Very home-y and cute, lights strung from the trees outside, a rustic oak interior. We did not have reservations on a Friday night but were able to sit at the bar and get served dinner there. I think most of their tables are reserved since they are only open a few days a week. There is also a small back room that looked like you could reserve for private parties. The service at the bar was great. The bartender/waitress was very helpful in recommending menu options. I ended up having the spinach berry salad to start and the pork tenderloin as my entree. My friend had the mozzarella salad and Korean BBQ roast. Everything was AMAZING. Like, the kind of food you live for. Everything was very fresh, yet rich with flavor, and presented beautifully. All in all, I will definitely be coming back. Happy I found this spot.

If there is ever filet mignon for pork loin, you can find it here. Phenomenal entry, flavorful.

Endive Publik House is tucked away on Mecaslin St. maybe 5 minutes away from Atlantic Station. It's one of those, if you blink, you'll miss it type places. The GPS told me I had arrived and I still had to look to find it. I came here on a Friday night and it was... Hoppin'! My friend and I didn't have reservations but luckily they were able to seat us at the bar where Dana served/bartended. The restaurant can get pretty noisy but not so much that you are shouting to communicate. It seems that people definitely come just for the drinks, while others enjoy that sit-down experience. Sadly, they do not have any beers on tap, but a pretty decent selection of bottled beers, wines, and cocktails. Bartender does all the "muddling" right in front of you! Service, I will say, was a bit lacking. While Dana was very pleasant, it definitely took awhile to get drink, and dinner orders in. I think this was because the bar was so crowded and there were a mix of people eating and those just drinking. It'd be nice if there was another person working the bar with her. Their menu seems to be all over the place. A little bit of Southern, some contemporary American, and even a little bit of Asian (sushi rolls?). For an appetizer, we got the calamari fries. ($8) It comes with an ample helping of thick-cut calamari and marinara and a red pepper sauce. The red pepper sauce tastes very much like a chipotle mayo. I'm a fan of the more traditional marinara. These calamari fries were REALLY good. Each bite was meaty and the breading was not falling off all over the place. I also got the strawberry arugula salad. ($6) I wasn't a big fan of the dressing but I always love arugula, berries, and pecans. For entrees I got the salmon and my friend got the pork tenderloin. (I believe both were about $13). The salmon comes with a bed of warm cabbage slaw topped with fried malanga. For those who don't know, malanga is a root vegetable that's kind of like taro. When fried though... SPARKS FLY. Okay let's be real, it reminds me of shoestring fries. And I love fries. Can never have enough fries. The salmon was cooked very well. It was not too dry and the bourbon was subtle but created a really nice crusty, glaze. Did not like the cabbage slaw though. It reminded me of sauerkraut, and seemed out of place. I think I would have liked it served with rice... But that could just be the Asian in me. The pork tenderloin was really... well, tender! It was a bit too sweet for my liking. The smokiness from the paprika comes across nicely and pairs really well with the stewed apples. I would have liked the apples to be a bit more tart and less sweet though. Endive does not have a seasonal menu. Everything is available year round so you won't feel like you're missing out on any menu items. I would definitely make a repeat visit. Sophisticated yet affordable. TLDR; Impress your date with fancy food while paying affordable prices.

I surprised my boyfriend here because of a referral from a friend. I wasn't too blown away with the food but he loved it. I LOVED the ambiance, and the variety of selections. I ordered the Korean beef and it was somewhat dry. We dipped and dabbed in different food choices and our bill was pretty hefty but it didn't bother me too much. Honestly it was worth it. We ordered a lot. I enjoyed the desert choices and the drinks were pretty decent. I wouldn't say I would be anxious to come back again but I definitely wouldn't oppose if he wanted to dine here again.

After reading rave reviews, I decided on Endive for a birthday dinner with a group of 11. We were seated in the private room, and it was a perfect space for that size group. For appetizers, the mushroom dip and duck pizza were both very tasty, but I was surprised by the chicken wonton tacos. While the flavor of the tacos was good, they were served chilled, and I wish I would've known that before ordering. Not my cup of tea. For my entree, I ordered the pork with apples. The pork was good, but a little sweet for my taste. I had a couple bites of the salmon, and it was delicious! The dessert trio is such a wonderful treat. I love having a little bite of this, & a little bite of that, which is exactly what the dessert sampler provides! The price of the food is a great value for what you are served. I love that Endive has affordable prices and upscale food - such a breath of fresh air in the Atlanta restaurant scene. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a delicious meal!

Beautiful food, amazingly seasoned and cooked and best of all - very reasonably priced! This was a great experience for our party of 6. It's small and quaint. the decor inside is both cozy and rustic with modern elements giving it a trendy atmosphere. Food: amazing. We shared the root veggie with dip, calamari and duck pizza. Then for main, my husband and I ordered the pork tenderloin, beef Filet with fries, vegetable medley. We also has the dessert sampler plate. Firstly, the food was plated beautifully. The skill and artistry of the presentation far exceeds the humble restaurant and prices. You simply don't get that type of execution for a $5 - $12 plate. Taste was all on point - dip was creamy, pizza was savory, our meat was seared and seasoned wonderfully - pork was sweet while beef was salty. Perfect combination for a great foodie night. I'll definitely be back.

I've been to this place two times in one month. The food has been very consistent and pretty good. The portions are huge and almost feel like I'm stealing from this place because of the price of the dishes. It seems like you should always make a reservation because it fills up very quickly. I've been on a Friday night and a Saturday night. Service is good as well. Parking can be a little tight and the lot can get slightly congested. Overall pretty good place. I did remove one star because I got a steak that was really salty on the first trip. The manager was also top notch as well as he fit in a last minute reservation for my large party.

Awesome environment. Staff on their game. Very good drinks and amazing food. Can't wait to bring others back.

Nestled on a residential street lies a small intimate dining experience called The Endive Publik House. We chose to be seated at the bar. Chris, the bartender, is knowledgeable of drinks and can converse on a variety of topics. We started with the Calamari Fries and the Won Ton Chicken Tacos. The Calamari Fries were delicious and served with a sauce that was addictive. We chose to share the Bourbon Glazed Salmon. It is shareable given the two appetizers, drinks, and forthcoming dessert. Cooked well and the glaze was just right. Finally we chose the dessert trio. Hummingbird Cake just like my grandmother made! Also a root beer float and homemade Twix bar. All in all a great experience.

Calling on Atlanta Foodies (and visiting Foodies) you've got to try this place!!! I will be honest, my husband and I visited Endive Publik House as a bit of an afterthought. We live in West Midtown, so our options for fantastic dining are plentiful. But, it was Valentine's Day and we failed to make a reservation in a timely manner--I know, I know...bad call. However, Endive saved us from a "tasteless" evening. My hubby called at 6:30 pm and by 8:00 pm, we were comfortably seated for our evening out. To be fair, we got lucky...Endive is only open Thu-Sat to the public, so your best bet is to make a reservation. Here's what you should know: 1) There is a free parking lot, yay! 2) The restaurant is tucked away in the Loring Heights neighborhood, with inconspicuous signage...so could be slightly easy to miss--eyes open. 3) The interior is eclectic...church pews/industrial/rustic, or something of that nature LOL. Very comfy though...I Like! 4) Service is great and the owner/chef (Chef Drew) totally ROCKS...he brought out our appetizer with a thoughtful "Happy Valentine's Day"...awwwww 5) Endive started as a successful catering business (and still is), but Chef Drew wanted to share his food vision with more people--Thank You, Chef Drew!!! 6) Try multiple appetizers. The entire menu is well priced (I dare to say underpriced for the quality of food...shhhhh) App Favorites included: Ethnic Root Vegetables with Cremini Mushroom Dip; Smoked Duck on thin crust Pizza with Fig Jam/Blue Cheese/Caramelized Onions; Fried Green Tomatoes Dinner included: Korean BBQ Glazed Chuck Roast (amazingly tender) and Smoked Paprika Seared Pork Tenderloin. Sides: Roasted Butternut Squash Gratin (2 Thumbs Up), Aged Cheddar Grits and Apple Cider Braised Greens. Needless to say, we have just been converted into regulars. Happy Eating!!!

Amazing food & drinks at such great prices! Love the decor. Every item we ordered's beautifully plated. Service was awesome as well. endive publik house has it all and I hope that doesn't ever change. My friends had their wedding catered by endive catering last year; everything was delicious. Of course, it's about time we visit endive publik house. The same friends had dinner with us at endive publik house this past Saturday. We sat at the bar since we didn't have a reservation. Chris was fantastic! Hopefully we can come back & dine at the bar every time in the future. Private lot & street parking available. Keep in mind that they are only open for dinner Thurs - Sat. ~ethnic root vegetable chips with black truffle cremini mushroom dip - the dip is amazing! the taro & lotus root chips are my favorite ~miniature southern-style crab cakes topped with remoulade, served over sweet potato nettle - has to be at the top of my list for the best crab cakes; generous portion; definitely our favorite item so far from endive ~Parmesan truffle fries - these were kind of soggy so it was our least favorite item ~thai chicken wonton tacos, wok-seared in a soy sherry sauce - cute little tacos; crunchy & yummy ~smoked duck on a thin crust pizza with fig jam, caramelized onion, dark blue cheese - incredible!! we don't even like blue cheese but everything tasted so delicious together ~paprika-seared pork tenderloin, roasted apples, savory peach sauce - great flavors; however, the pork was a bit dry for me

Interesting little place. Do get your back seat driver to keep eyes peeled to find it. endive hadn't been on my must-try list but others with good taste said to try so when I was invited, well, sure! [It's really fun to come home for a week and have lots of people who want to catch you up on good spots!] I thought the food ranged from eh to awesome, with most things in the good-to-great range. Loved the fried green tomato app and the tomato mozzarella salad (hey, I love tomatoes, ok?). The fried green toms had a sprinkle of goat cheese, which always has me at hello. The tomato mozz was delicious - I thought it was great that there were all kinds of tomato varieties/size from grape to yellow to the traditional red you expect. The mozzarella was also tasty, and cool with different sizes of fresh cheese. All over arugula, which I love. I didn't care for the fig jam and blue cheese flatbread; just too sweet for my taste with the jam. I also vote no on the chicken tacos - super cute as their tiny little selves but the kinda Asian flavor wasn't for me. The pork was cooked just right and really tasty. I'm not a big fan of places that don't let you swap sides - they weren't condescending about this, but just won't do it. A side of grits, though, is worth ordering anyway. Please get their Parmesan fries with truffle oil. As you'd expect, they are sinful and this version is totally worth it. Rave-worthy is one part of the dessert trio they are currently offering- they do one dessert that's a trio of items (in these cute little rectangular plate with a section for each dessert - just adorable) and they change them out regularly. Right now, one of them is The. Best. Donut. Dessert. Around. A KK donut, in a vanilla bread pudding. I don't love sweets but this rocks. The hot chocolate swirl cup is clever with the idea of marshmellows on a stirrer in a yummy chocolate (you get to use the marshmellow stick to break the chocolate into a drink) but would work way better if it was hotter. Maybe but it over a teeny burner? Cool that a big portion of their business is catering so be very happy if you get to experience it at a party or event. Great service. Solid overall and nothing was totally crave-worthy, I'd definitely return if invited again!

This restaurant is a small, delightful gem. Our friends had suggested it and so happy they did. It is little hard to find, which we thought made it even cooler once we arrived. It's an adorable space and very small and intimate. Reservations are a must since there are only 10-12 tables. We started with several light bites, including the crab cakes and calamari. The crab cakes didn't live up to the reviews but were okay. Nothing out of this world but the calamari was great (who doesn't love something fried to perfection?). As a pescatarian I would have liked more options but did enjoy the fried lobster tails, although they were a little expensive at $34. My husband really enjoyed his pork dish though which was "amazing and very flavorful". The side dishes weren't anything special but just okay. We had the grits and butternut squash. Our favorite was definitely the dessert! Three small pieces of heaven. The chocolate mousse was out of this world. The apple soft cake and ice cream was also just incredible. Great way to spend an evening!!

Amazing food! We had mostly small plates, the mini crab cakes and pork tenderloin are to die for. We also had this restaurant cater a fashion show recently that was incredible, I have found the place I want to cater all future events! Everything if truly bite size and tastes wonderful. I will definitely be coming back!

Endive Publik House is great little spot nestled in the neighborhoods behind Atlantic Station. We have been several times for dinner and a few just for cocktails. I do recommend making reservations but sitting at the bar works as well. Service, ambiance, and plating presentation all stand out here. The menu is fairly simple yet all encompassing and caters to various appetites. There are only 2 two things we have not tried: lobster tails and sea bass. Our favorite app is the chicken tenders (who doesn't love a meaty breaded and fried piece of chicken!). For salads, the classic Caesar and heirloom tomato, basil, and mozz are a toss up. We have been pleased with all the entrees but our go to is the Korean BBQ chuck roast. Don't forget to save room for dessert because the sampler is always a treat as it changes weekly! If you want a delightful night of dining out, make sure to add this place to your list.

Just wonderful...flavors are exciting and mouth watering...service is excellent. Great atmosphere but call ahead for a reservation...they are always busy because they are sooooo good!

My husband and I had dinner at endive last night with another couple and were blown away. From other reviewers we knew it was hard to find so that made it easy to find because we searched harder! Helped that they had Christmas lights on a tree in the front yard. Lovely place, decorated tastefully and bathrooms were nice and clean. Our waitress Meg was a gem! Loved her, loved her hilarious personality! We laughed with her all evening! And the food.....holy cow.....unique, eclectic, delicious, creative, something for everyone! I am a picky eater and really enjoyed my dinner. We started with the gorgeous (yes, I ordered this because I saw the pic on Yelp and thought it was pretty) mushroom dip/Vegi chip starter. For $4 - what a great price! I had to share with my 3 table mates but next time it is all mine! I also had a very creatively presented Caesar salad then the Bbq roast beef and a side of grits! All were delicious! The only thing I didn't care for were the "rolls" that came with the beef. Weird texture and forgettable taste. Yeast rolls would have been preferable. Other items ordered were the fried lobster tails, sea bass, salmon, fried green tomatoes, strawberry salad. All items received rave reviews! We will be back....soon! One suggestion - they should use Open Table for reservations. I had to email for a reservation and wait for a response.

endive Publik house is cute little restaurant in midtown Atlanta. It's trendy-looking and very dimly lit inside the building. Although it looks like an upscale restaurant, it's actually more casual. The quality of food was amazing. For appeitizers we ordered the thai chicken wonton tacos and smoked duck on a thin crust pizza. The pizza was miniature, but it still tasted great. I had the aged local beef tenderloin and my brother had the Korean BBQ beef chuck duck. We were both happy were the quality taste of the food, but I was though the portion was still kind of small. For dessert, there is only a dessert sampler and I was a bit torn because while I do always want to taste a little bit of everything, I still wanted a full dessert. However much to my delight, the dessert was still amazing. By the end of the night, I was full. The meal was overall great quality. On the other hand, if you're a person that eats proportionally big meals like at Applebees or a buffet, I would not recommend this place.

What a great neighborhood find! I made a reservation for 10 people on a Saturday evening and we were given a private room just for our group which was a nice start. Before we sat, a few of us grabbed drinks or bottles of wine at the bar. We all felt that the prices were incredibly reasonable for the bottles and drinks! Onto the meal, our private room was perfect. Not cramped, but not too big that we felt we were taking up space from other patrons. For those who didn't already have drinks, they ordered those and then we ordered apps. Most couples got 2 to split. WOW - they were amazing. We got the tacos and duck pizza. Everything was so delicious, not heavy, and a perfect size to split and still be hungry for dinner. The dinner! We were so impressed by the apps that my husband and I both ordered 2 different entrees and 2 sides to split. Typically by this time we'd want to split an entree, but the portion sizes and taste had reeled us in! I had the Korean BBQ roast and the hubs had the lobster tails - immediately I believe we both were upset we said we'd share! The flavors and pairings were spot on - and for the prices - you can't beat it! We skipped dessert as we were quite full by this time. To finish, our bill was easy on the eyes! Everything is appropriately priced, not marked up, and delicious to boot! They are only open Thur-Sat for dinner, so be sure to grab a reservation and check this place out! We already have plans to go back! Check out the menu and their story - you won't regret it!

Ok so I'll give them points for atmosphere. However- place was too small, parking situation sucked, inside the space was lacking & did I mention how hot the place was?! Pretty hot! I was pretty hungry when ordering but wanted to stay healthy so I ordered a simple Cesar salad. Judging by the plates they were bringing out for others I thought okay no worries it'll be a huge salad. I got my salad and was pretty, pretty disappointed. It was literally like 3 strands of lettuce, a tiny bit of dressing swirled to the bottom of the plate and like 1 small mushroom. That definitely was not a salad. I didn't even bother eating it- that's how irritated I was. I ordered coke & my boyfriend ordered his coke zero. Guess they decided not to bring just our drinks out... I just wasn't a fan of this place over all. The staff was great though. I'll give them points for that. Apart from forgetting our drinks and never getting them, the waiters were all nice and quite informative of the menu. Just not my scene. Sorry Endive!

This place is soooo good! The food might look small but it is full of flavor! I ordered the beef tenderloin medium rare and it was absolutely delicious! It was so tender and the mash potatoes that it came with were great!

Was DELICOUS. Hands down the best steak I've ever had. Good mix drinks, fun wait staff--be adventurous, their salads are all right, but there preparation of the beef and park were out of this world. Will return!

The duck pizza was amazing, salmon was fabulous and the grilled carrots were memorable!

A good friend of ours is having Endive cater her wedding and invited us out to try out the restaurant as they offer many of the catering options. I don't remember the last time I was so impressed with a restaurant opening in Atlanta. Everything about out visit was perfect. The restaurant is located off of Deering Rd in-between Northside Dr and Peachtree St. I am assuming it is located right next to or in the same space as their catering business. We went with a group of 7 people so we ordered several appetizers: Thin Crust Pizza topped with Duck - Amazing! I normally am not the biggest fan of Fig but it worked really well on top of the pizza. There is also blue cheese, white truffle oil, and garlic on the pizza too. Calamari French Fries served with Sriracha Aioli - Also a very good appitizer and a very interesting dish. I don't think I have ever seen calamari served like a "French Fry" before. Assorted Ethnic Root Vegetable Chips with Cremini Mushroom Duxelle - Another great and unique appetizer that the table devoured. I believe people were scraping the mushroom dip after all the chips were gone. Fried Green Tomatoes topped with Montrachet Goat Cheese - Pretty basic fried green tomatoes but they were really good. Shrimp and Grits - The grits were to die for and were super creamy and buttery. Shrimp were cooked perfectly as well. All the appetizers were really good but I would say my favorites were the duck pizza and shrimp and girts. For dinner I ordered the Asian pot roast with mashed potatoes and my wife ordered the pork tenderloin with grits. Both dishes were excellent and I really couldn't pick which one I liked better. Another pleasant surprise was the check. I can't think of a restaurant where you get the quality of food you get an Endive for the price. I can't wait to go back and I highly recommend you go check it out. I think since they just opened they are only offering dinner service on Thursday - Saturday evenings, but call and check. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Great restaurant! Ambiance is zen. Food, drinks, and service are delicious. We tried the korean bbq roast, fried lobster tails, and calamari fries. All well seasoned and fresh. They only have one dessert option and not only was it just $6, but the portion size was sufficient for both me and my husband. As far as cocktails, my husband's bourbon and my prosecco were both very tasty. Don't remember exactly the names of the drinks though. Five stars is appropriate.
