I have been to Baja Fresh locations in Los Angeles, and the ones I have been to there have had the best Mexican fast food that I have had anywhere. I was glad, therefore, to see a Baja Fresh across from Centennial Olympic Park when I was in the neighborhood, and stopped by for lunch. I was extremely disappointed, though, with what I got. I ordered a two-taco platter with steak as the meat. The platter included rice and beans. I brought my number to my table and waited maybe 10 minutes to get my meal delivered. When it came to my table, it was between cold and lukewarm, as though it had been sitting around for about a half hour. The portions were pitiful. There was a little bit of rice and black beans, two corn tortillas with a few pieces of steak in them with a little salsa. That was it. Nothing else in the tacos. This location did not have a lot of seating. I found only one available table. With a couple more people, there wouldn't have been any seating. There is a ground level and an upstairs area. I sat in the upstairs area and it was a little dismal -- on the dark side without any atmosphere and not much view of the streets. One good thing is that they have baskets of chips available that you can take while you are waiting for your order. The chips, at least, were fresh and hot, and the salsas at their bar were good quality. Serving cold food and small portions was not worth the money I spent here. Other Mexican fast food brands in the Atlanta area give you more value for the money, and I've never got cold meals at any other brands. I think the concept of having meals delivered to your table is not a good one for a fast food establishment, and delivery delays probably are part of the reason the meal was delivered cold.

Never order delivery again waited 2hours for a meal had to call them and was told it wasn't coming anymore because they had no driver horrible delivery service just horrible

Unless you enjoy eating meat that tastes like shoes and salsa that seems to really be the feces of 2 year old on a Taco Bell binge, I recommend eating elsewhere. The meat was tough and awful. I paid extra for guacamole and it was clear that it was old because it was oxidized. The queso was weirdly chunky.

Moss on tomato when I got the shrimp salad. Was a big great salad and they even added kale but the tomato killed it for me. Unfortunately, I will never eat there again.

Had high expectations for this place, but I was sadly disappointed. I ordered a single taco with chicken, expecting it to be a hard shell taco with a decent amount of food inside. What I got was a very small, rather wimpy taco....thing. Two small tortillas, with 5 small pieces of chicken, a ton of onions, and cilantro. Now, normally, that'd be fine, if I had ordered something else like nachos or something to go with the two-bite meal. But I was not told how small the taco would be, nor was I asked if I wanted a side item or anything. The food tasted good, though, but the presentation and the staff just weren't all that great. I may try it again, though - the place does have a very nice vibe and is reasonably priced.

Fairly decent crisp fish wahoo tacos. Good deal with the 25% yelp check in. Unfortunately they were out of shrimp. One area for improvement. (Salsa self serve area was cleaned up more than 30 minutes before store closing). When I asked about the salsa, the employees were very grumpy in giving it. ** they are known for their Salsa bar - why do this. Anyway still giving 4 stars for good tasty food and quick service.

It's a chain restaurant like all of the other. It's across the street from the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Park, so it's convenient. You get small portions for a big price. They seemed shipped in and pre-packaged, so there was nothing special there. The place is small, but has an extra upstairs seating area with two TVs. It's dark upstairs; reminds you of a sports bar. The staff could have done a better job of keeping it clean. I won't return.

Love Baja fresh. The food is good and made to order. They have great Customer Service as well. We always end up with the same 2 cashiers and both are extremely nice and courteous. For this establishment to have mostly 25 and under ppl working in it I must say they have it together. The dining area isnt always dirty like Moe's on Broad and they have no issues with cleaning the tables before you sit down. Baja Fresh I will be back as I have for the last 18 months.

Lot of food for your money - only I wish you could have more chips. Seemed to only get a handful. Staff here was great and very friendly.

Awesome food. I couldn't believe that they had Wahoo on the menu. Be sure and try the Pico too. It was great. Staff was super friendly too even though we came in just before closing time!

Wow...it's been a couple years since I've had Baja Fresh back in Chicago, and it was nice to have it here. This is a great location, being a block or two from a bunch of tourist attractions and away from the crowds of Centennial Park. I've always enjoyed their menu; I get the same thing every time, no matter the location: the Ultimo burrito. This location was cool--same as other locations with unlimited chips, a salsa bar and friendly employees. An added novelty: the bathrooms feature sliding doors.

Baja Fresh is so good! I eat Chipotle a few times a week and the fact that they have queso here is a huge deal for me! This was quite possibly the best burrito I've had in Atlanta. Quick, Cheep & good! What more can you ask for! I found my new favorite burrito shop!

Never again. I've been on a hiatus from this place as an office lunch option and will not go back after today. I just bit into my burrito and the meat inside it is cold. It was bad enough that one of the employees was putting away all the salsas (while talking on his cellphone) before I could even get any to take with me, but serving customers cold food? No bueno.

It tasted like a burrito my hospital cafeteria could make. I don't like Moe's, but I would advise going there instead. I was highly disappointed and I bet you will be too.

I'm under the impression that if you see people of Latino descent in a Mexican restaurant, then the food has to be good. Long story short, I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the wahoo wahoo burrito ultimo, which was great. The wahoo-wahoo ( a line-caught fish) was grilled and perfectly seasoned. It was paired with grilled onions (which were a bit overpowering at times), bell peppers, and rice that seemed to be tomato flavored. I also enjoyed that the burrito was grilled. I could actually eat the bread itself for the rest of my life, happily. Some extra tips: Do not skip out without trying their Pico de Gallo first. It is the BEST pico de gallo I've ever tasted! I walked here, and google maps was not helpful in directing me. Call ahead, and get directions from the owner. This place is full of tourists...be ware!

All I can say is wow. I am completely shocked at how amazing their food is. I'm a huge fan of Chipotle and I've had Moes and Willy's (which I'm not too find of) but Baja Fresh is now one of my favorites. I wanted to try out their chicken Caesar salad because that's my favorite thing to eat and also their diablo burrito. Everything was fantastic ! they have me A LOT of food. And it was so fresh. The salad dressing they give is, I believe, lime cilantro and I'm a huge fan of cilantro and this salad dressing is to die for ! I will definitely be eating here regularly !

This is no Chipotle. I thought the quality did not match the price. did like the salsa bar and complimentary chips, of course, and the ingredients and freshness were up to par. But my steak nachos left MUCH to be desired. The guacamole (extra $) helped a bit, but it was super chunky. There was waaay too much cheese and about 3 ounces of meat, divided into 6 chunks. Plus the chunks of meat were too big to really spread over the chips. That really turned me off. I'm used to having steak in my steak nachos. I LOVE cheese and I felt queasy trying to eat this.

If you're from out of town visiting the GA Aquarium, Baja fresh would be okay and better than eating over-priced touristy food... Do not Drive your car over here, parking is horrible!! It's Baja-Fresh...americanized over-priced burritos..not much else to say. Their salsa is really good though!

We ventured in for lunch after the Aquarium and before World of Coca- Cola. It was fairly busy and I guess they make everything fresh. It was the first time we had been there. I guess it is similar to Moe's in that they provide free chips. You order your food and then you grab a number to display on your table so they can deliver the food. There's a salsa bar with a few selections. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about.

If you've ever been to a Baja Fresh, you know exactly what you're going to get. And it's fine. Baja Fresh is decent. They have some legit salsas (if you like the spicy stuff; I can't speak for their milder varieties) and the meat is good. In the great wasteland of Mexican food that is Atlanta, you're hard-pressed to find better tacos. If you love Moe's, I don't think you'll like this (and I seriously question your tastebuds), but if you're a SoCal expat, you'll be thrilled to find that this chain, not a standout in your hometown, has a location here. And sometimes (depending on what, I have yet to discover) they deliver!

This place is awful! I lived in both DC and Cali for a minute and used to frequent the Baja Fresh as some fast food "Mexican" that was decent and reliable. This is not the Baja Fresh that I came to depend on. I ordered this meal from Grub Hub and it was delivered to me. The carnitas taco was dry and over cooked, and there were hardly any onions and cilantro on it. The grilled fish taco needed sauce it was so rubbery and gross. The fried fish taco was soggy and disgusting. I ordered chips and salsa. The salsa was brownish black!!! Brown!! And it tasted like dirt. It was so unbelievably revolting! I also ordered queso fundido. I thought there was no way to screw up cheese dip. Boy was I wrong!! It was watery and tasted like over processed cheese whiz that had been melted in an old dirty shoe with some tomatoes and onion thrown in. Melted velveeta with salsa would have been 10 times better than this repugnant nastiness!

If you like Chipotle, hate Moe's, compromise on Willy's, and cannot ever find a Qdoba, Baja Fresh is worth a try. Chipotle, Moe's, Willy's, Qdoba, etc. They all have variations on the same theme. Tacos, quesadillas and burritos with a couple of meat choices and different sauces. Fast food meets taco/burrito night without the (Taco) Bell. Chipotle has always been my favorite. You get the carnitas pork there when it's down to the crust of the pork skin (or whatever cut they're serving), and the resulting crunchy burrito is just good, cheap food. Which is why I was pleased with Baja Fresh. Their burrito crunched. Not because of the meat, though. They grilled the burritos. Baja Fresh has the same sorta menu as all these other places, with some exceptions. First -- they have shrimp and fish on the menu. Grilled or fried mahi-mahi, which is a nice touch if you're wanting something heatlhier, I guess. Second -- they have a decent number of preset ways to have the burritos put together. I like this -- they don't charge extra for them that I remember. I esp. like the fact that you can get 1-2 presets WITHOUT BEANS. Beans, beans -- the musical fruit, etc. Seriously -- black and refried beans just ruin a burrito or taco for me. I LIKE having good bean-less options at places like this. Finally -- the sauces they have are presented the same way as Moe's, Willy's or Qdoba, but they're much better. I liked the dark chipotle salsa. It had chunks of something good. I didn't ask -- I just ate. For about the same price as Chipotle, Baja Fresh is a nice alternative to Moe's and Willy's. It's about as rare in Atlanta, though, as a Qdoba, so Chipotle, for now, will remain at the top of my cheap taco/burrito eats list.

Baja fresh is a good place for a cheap lunch downtown. We also had them cater a lunch at work and they sent over TONS of food and churros! The guy taking my order didn't hear me I guess when I ordered chips with my two tacos, but I didn't really need them. But then I heard there were complimentary chips with some meals I was really confused. I just shared my friend's chips instead of dealing with it or asking questions. My tacos were light on fillings, but tasty. It's a trade off I can deal with. They also have one of those fancy new fangled soda machines if you need a cheap thrill.

my 1st trip to this chain resto was in fairfax VA, since then I've been craving that mango chitpotle salad, so much that I risked my life and drove down to centennial park- i hate driving through this part of town. always so congested with cars moving quickly, and people walking all through the streets. the first thing i did when i got into the place was to go potty. the bathroom door is so freaking cool! it slides open! wow! i felt like i was in Tokyo- which btw, i really want to go to. i then made my order and went to the salsa bar to get my salsa on. every last one of the salsa's were watered down. too watered down. Unusable. that was a major turn off. i immediately threw my chips away. the owner (?)/manager was there. Hubba Hubba. he was nice, spending his time speaking with another customer about his store and future plans. really nice. my salad was just the same as it was in VA. amazing! chocked full of ingredients. packed full of flavor and hearty pieces of chicken. didn't skimp on anything. my companion ordered a chicken burrito-Ultimo. His lacked, well...chicken burrito. we counted the pieces of chicken in the burrito-5. in this huge ass burrito-he had 5 little pieces of chicken. what the heck! b/c of this reason, I can not yet give this particular establishment anything more than a 3!

Now that Baja Fresh is back in Atlanta, I have to make up for lost time. I used to eat here a lot in Denver and even made a lot of runs to Sandy Springs before they pulled out of the market. If you've ever been to a Chipotle-like place, you know how Baja Fresh works. It's counter service with burritos, tacos, quesadillas and even taquitos. I usually get my burrito Ultimo and Enchilada-style, which basically means it's packed with veggies then smothered in cheese and red chile sauce. One of the things I really dig about Baja Fresh is the salsa bar, which offers about six different salsas to choose from. In addition to pico de gallo and the traditional red stuff, they also have some quirkier options. I usually gravitate to the darker, richer versions you won't find anywhere else. All in all, in the fast-casual corporate burrito category, I'd rate Baja Fresh on par with Chipotle and Willy's, and above Moe's and Qdoba. The staff is friendly, the service is quick and the food tastes just how I remember. You do have to pay to park though, so that is a bit of a downside. But if you work within walking distance like I do--or plan to visit the Georgia Aquarium--it's definitely worth trying out.

GROSS!!! I usually get a couple different tacos when I'm eating somewhere for the first time so I know whats good, I had the carnitas, chicken and steak. The rice and beans tasted old (didn't eat them, just tasted them and threw them out). The steak was inedible. Chewy with bad flavor. The carnitas tasted old. The chicken was boring but edible. The "pico" is just cut up tomatoes and I had probably four tomato tops in one cup of salsa. Horrible.

So I heard about this place from a friend of mine who raved it was the best burritos ever. Me being somewhat of a burrito junkie I new I had to try it for myself. Do to start its like any other burrito place u order at the counter and they bring it to u. U get free chips and salsa. Decor of this place is potter Pretty kool, although it should be is brand new. Lol... I did like the fact that they had am upstairs though. However that's just lucky location choice. So the food. Their burritos were good. I liked the press grilled idea. However I want such a fan of menu. Didn't really make it super easy to come up with something custom, which I'm all about. I will give them props on their salsa selection though. Very wide variety. From mango to black beam if I remember correctly. Another thing I wasn't to keen on was the way they have u chips.in this little tiny container that held a few over a handful. I need more than that I'm a big boy. Eventually they figured it put and brought us a full regular sized basket. So overall this place is pretty decent was nothing I hated about it and the food was good. Just not my favorite place. That spot to me personally is still held by Moes.

After having Baja Fresh catered to my work a few months ago, I was finally in downtown Atlanta for the evening and I made sure to give Baja Fresh a true go-round. Needless to say, I was not disappointed AT ALL!!! Baja Fresh blows places like Willy's and Moe's out of the water!! I ordered an Ultimo Steak Burrito and it was amazing. The meat tastes fresh (much better than the stuff they have sitting out at other burrito places), the tortilla was slightly grilled, and the Baja sauce you can get as a side was fantastic as well. My friend got a Mahi Mahi burrito and nearly fainted it was so delicious.... If you're ever downtown near the Centennial Park area, be sure to stop by Baja Fresh. You'll be glad you did.

This place is so FREAKIN good! They blow all of the other burrito joints out of the water! The food is bursting with flavor, the salsa is to die for, and the burrito's are grilled - yum!!! I'm so excited ATL brought Baja back - they were sorely missed :-)

This is currently one of my favorite places to go in Atlanta. It's downtown right next to Centennial Olympic Park, which is super convenient because it means I can walk there from work or home. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which is a big bonus for me. Plus I love their burritos. I always get the Baja burrito with chicken and black beans. The burrito is big and packed full of flavor in a grilled tortilla. Then I can add all the cilantro and salsa I want from the salsa bar, which is good since I'm slightly obsessed with cilantro. I also can't get enough of their molcajete salsa, which features jalapenos, tomatoes, and more cilantro. It's a bold, spicy salsa with just the right amount of heat for me. The tortilla chips are crisp and fresh as well. Top it off with a fountain Coke flavored with a lime from the salsa bar, and I'm pretty much as content as I could be. Yeah, it's just a quick, order-at-the-counter burrito place like so many others in town, but in my opinion Baja Fresh is far superior to the rest of them.

I've walked past this place many many times without stopping, until today. The food was pretty good for "fast" food. Nice that they have vegetarian options. Got a veggie diablo burrito. The diablo sauce is pretty hot. I will be back, especially since it's a a short walk from the office.

I ate here today on a free burrito Birthday coupon. If you sign up for their email list you will probably get one on your birthday too!.. Do It! What I love here is that you get a burrito full of GOOD STUFF, rather than cheap fillers like you get at places like MOE's and Willy's. I chose the diablo- pork carnitas. It had just a tiny bit of rice, I had to really look to find it, but that's what I like...little to none of that. The rest was great pork. That's what I call a REAL burrito! Sounds simple but so hard to get in Georgia where everyone seems to compete to make these monsters and then wrap them in foil and they look like bombs. No here. You don't get that huge thing full of cheap filler, but you get a decent size one full of good tasty meat or the filling of your choice sans cheap potato and rice. The salsas were good, and I preferred the darker one Molcajete I believe it was. It was mostly roasted green chile. If your going to Georgia Aquarium, this place is just steps away and saves you from their high cost eatery. I feel this place beats all the competition in Atlanta.

2 words, SALSA BAJA, FREAKING AMAZING. They have a black salsa they make i have not had nor seen anywhere else, it is so amazing it is the reason i come here, the food could be better its obviously pree cooked, but its also basically fast food price..its atleast fresh real meat. I've definitely had worse at mexican restaurants that cokk my food when i order it. and they have a free unlimited salsa bar!

This restaurant is 2 stories. You order and get your drinks on the 1st floor. There are some tables on the first floor but more on the 2nd as well as a tv. Food is good and fresh.

Avoid this restaurant in downtown Atlanta. I called to have food delivered to my hotel for my family. It took them over an hour to deliver to food and the order was wrong. When I called the restaurant back, they did not answer the phone. Poor customer service, poor food quality equals no return business.

Baja Fresh used to be a staple of mine when I lived in CA. So when I found one in the ATL airport I was happy. The burritos are packed full of the stuff you pick out. The flavors in the meat & salsas are pretty good. I enjoyed my burrito. But the chips that came with it tasted nasty.

If you are expecting anything similar to Chipotle in flavor and quality you will be extremely disappointed. The prices, however are neck and neck. I ordered a burrito bowl. It was very bland with a ton of barley cooked onions and peppers. The chips are not fresh and were actually sitting on a table near the drink machine for anyone to breath and reach over. They were cold and stale to say the least. I wouldn't eat here again if they were giving food away for free.

My coworkers and I found this place when one of our usually places was really full of tourists. The restaurant looked so nice that I really wanted to like it. However, the food was just so-so. It didn't really stand out or impress, it was just kind of bland all around. The salsa, while they had several varieties, wasn't that great. None of our lunch group has made a repeat visit I'm afraid.

First Off the members of staff here at Baja Fresh are very accommodating and are welling to work with large orders. I was hosting an event for about 50 people, so I order 3 Fajitas Feast and 2 Sampler platters one with chicken and with steak. The order was properly bagged and was on time. The food was delicious and went quick. Several people asked where I purchased the food and I proudly said BAJA FRESH. Thank you BAJA FRESH for making my Event a success. I definitely will use them in the near future and i will never eat at Moe's or Willy's again.

A close second in my mind for fast food Mexican restaurants. This place was much better than I thought it would be, but it was just average. If you want fast food Mexican, and are in the downtown area (right across from the CNN center) I'd give this a try. I tried the Baja burrito, and, besides putting way (way, WAY) too many onions on my burrito, it was actually pretty good, and came with free chips. The service was decent and the wait was about on par with most places like it. Between this place and another on that rhymes with Raco Rell, I'd say fast food, pseudo Mexican eats are covered for this particular part of the city.

I went to school and currently work just a few streets over and had no idea the road this place is on existed before we bought a restaurant.com gift certificate. There are a number of small shops and restaurants down there and was really glad to discover it. We walked over from work with a dinner certificate good for dine-in only and our bill had to total at least $35. It was about 30 minutes before closing so we told the staff if they wanted to just put lids on everything we would take it to-go so as not to inconvenience them with their closing time. They were totally OK with that and we had our food in about 20 minutes. We ended up having to order quite a lot of stuff to reach $35 just for the two of us, so you know the food was reasonably priced. Because it was the end of the night I suppose they had some food they were just going to throw out so they tossed in some extra tacos, chips & dip for us (it's not like we needed it with the huge bags we were already leaving with!). But it was a super nice gesture and we had great leftovers for the next day. The food was actually really good. I didn't have the highest hopes seeing as how this is a "fast-food" Mexican place, but I wasn't disappointed. Their shrimp quesadilla and queso were excellent and they have a Coke machine that dispenses 106 different flavors of Coke. Definitely a fan and plan on returning in the future.

I placed an order for delivery which totaled $121.67 not including tip. They charged my credit card twice. I called them three times over a three week period. Each time I was told "the owner" will call me back. I never received a return phone call or a credit. I disputed the charge with Wells Fargo who has now indicated they "are unable to obtain a refund on your behalf because the merchant issued a refund via in-store credit." Who said crime does not pay!

I'm one of the few people who actually still enjoy the whole burrito the size of your torso thing. I've actually become more of a burrito bowl fan, or in this case, the naked burrito without a tortilla. Being Faturday I decided to order myself the legit thing and got a veggie ultimo and added guac (because if there's ever an option to add guac to anything, you have to do it!). We placed our orders, grabbed some chips and salsa, and sat upstairs. I've heard people rave about their salsa bar- I guess it's all the options, but I really wasn't too impressed. I ended up enjoying the medium salsa the most- the dark red one, of the three I tried. I was quite impressed that the burrito was grilled and the portion size was enormous, as was to be expected, since they always are at these types of places. I really enjoyed the filling; at first I was unsure because the black beans weren't whole, but instead were mashed up, but I actually ended up enjoying that aspect quite a bit. Oh and they did not disappoint with my guac., there were chunks of whole avocado through the entire thing- YES! I know this may seem strange, but I wish they didn't just hand out chips to people. I avoid chips and salsa like the plague; it's my ultimate weakness and they add like 600 calories or something insane to a meal. I'm able to avoid them if I have to pay for them, but when someone is simply putting a basket of fried crisp tortillas in my hand, there's no stopping me.

I ordered the Diablo burrito with chicken, because when looking at the menu, you assume each new name has a topping that the previous name didn't have. I wanted sour cream, and there was none. I'll blame myself for poor reading and making assumptions. Otherwise, I thought the food was pretty tasty. Next time, I'll try the Nacho Burrito! The location is nice, with big windows, where you can watch for meter maids targeting your car. The servers answer your questions without an attitude. They're not fast enough for me to consider this fast food, but if you've got 10 minutes, you can definitely order to go. And, it's pretty affordable. You can get two decent sized burritos with free chips for under $15.00. Oh, and best part, there was no line. So, if you're okay with something a little smaller, and almost as good as Chipotle (but not quite), without the wait, this could be an option for you.

Baja Fresh has started to become my pre-Thrashers game eating spot, despite the fact that there are eleven billion options in the CNN center, including a Moe's. No thanks, Moe's, I will take an amazing burrito, and delicious salsas, plus whatever crazy soda I want from a Coke Freestyle machine. Since I was newer to Yelp for my first review, I find it kind of didn't really explain much. You choose a meat (or not) plus a style for your burrito ranging from diablo to ultimo. Lately I've really been into the baja style. You can also then add enchilada style to this, but that kind of defeats the whole burrito thing to me. There's also tacos and then several salad options, none of these things are really like Chipotle's burrito bowl option, but apparently something similar is on the way, if not there already. When you order a steak burrito, you can see them take out fresh steak that they cook to order, quite a change from some steak sitting on a line of food items. It was really good, but I'll always love the chicken burrito the most. The owner recently added a coffee/ice cream shop to the left of Baja Fresh and they connect on the inside. I don't quite understand the combination because I am usually too full from Baja Fresh to even think of eating anything else for hours, but hope that works out for him considering they took out a wall for it. They also at some point last year added margaritas and beer. It is of course a questionable margarita substance spinning around in one of those creepy drink tanks, and beers are all by the bottle. I enjoy messing with that crazy Coke machine too much for these things. Still no sign of any additional spots opening up around town, but I've got so many games I want to go to, it's not like I really have to go out of the way to get here. #Yelp365 - 4/365

Ordered lunch for me and a coworker. The cost was ridiculous over $34! Used the online ordering. Apparently the restaurant was confused by this. After over an hour of waiting I called. The response I got was "oh sorry it'll be there in 10 minutes." After over 15 minutes later my cold soggy nachos finally arrived and the burrito my coworker ordered was on recognizable. Worst food ever! Will not use them again!

Maybe it was just a bad day for them, but this lunch was the most repulsive lunch I've had in a long time. My dad goes to Baja all the time in MI and OH, and he says they're great. I got a steak fajita sandwich based off of his recommendation, and he got nachos. They bring out a basket of chips, which were good--it's very hard to bring out bad chips. Then lunch happened. The steak fajita sandwich had almost no steak or veggies on it, so it was like eating bread. Thick white bread--nasty! My dad's nachos were not warm, and the cheese wasn't even melted. Uhh...guys? They're nachos. Melt the freakin' cheese, it's not that hard. Horrible. What a waste of a meal. I went back to the hotel and ate some cereal, which tasted delicious compared to lunch. Oh, nice location though.

Best Mexican in Atlanta right now, surprisingly. I've eaten at all the mexican spots here for years (No Mas, Taqueria Del Sol, La Fonda, Bone Garden, etc.). The previous best, La Casita in East Atlanta, sadly closed. Baja Fresh is unusual in that its a chain that serves food like a mom and pop place. It looks like any other Amerimexican buritto chain when you go in; clean, corporate, bright colors and distressed type everywhere. However, if you can get past the commercial atmosphere and focus on the food, it really is well done. If you've ever been to a dive hole in the wall place and ignored probable health violations for the quality of the authentic food, the same principle applies here; only you are trying to ignore the cheesy atmosphere, tourists sitting at the table next to you and top 40 radio. The meat is marinated, you can get real corn tortillas, the chips are light & crispy- not hard and they have a salsa bar which features hot sauce that is in fact hot. Recommended.

I ordered nachos and a burrito from this location. After waiting almost 2 hours for my food, the nachos were soggy, the cheese was hard, and the guacamole was brown. I ate the burrito and about 3 hours later got some of the worst food poisoning I've had since before I got it in Mexico. So yes, eating and drinking water in Mexico was less harmful to my system than this place's sad excuse for food. However, I highly recommend it to masochists who have a bad food fetish.

After all the fun, exciting, hype day in downtown Atlanta Bicentennial area. This is a great place to kick back relax and eat. It's not waiter service. It's a regular fast food joint. First time tip- Don't say table for 3!! You look like a fool!! We had the quesadilla with shrimp quesadilla with beef, and the ultimate nachoes, and side of rice. The shrimp was fresh and good. The beef one was dry and lacked texture. it's a pretty basic place. Once you order they give you a number and you sit where you want. They bring you your order. They have 2 flat screen upstairs. They get pretty busy for lunch a lot of people go there for lunch. We looked liked the only tourists there on a Wednesday afternoon. Great for kids and fills your appetite. Recommend eating here for fast fresh Mexican food.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

(2)Robert G.

(1)Lauren F.
Moss on tomato when I got the shrimp salad. Was a big great salad and they even added kale but the tomato killed it for me. Unfortunately, I will never eat there again.
(2)Susie C.
(2)Shariq A.
(4)Tony W.
(1)Amol P.
Very nice!! Pretty surprised at the options there are here.!!
(4)Kisey M.
(5)Emily D.
Lot of food for your money - only I wish you could have more chips. Seemed to only get a handful. Staff here was great and very friendly.
(4)Peter W.
Terrible service. Understaffed. Underwhelming food. You are better to go somewhere else.
(1)Spence H.
Awesome food. I couldn't believe that they had Wahoo on the menu. Be sure and try the Pico too. It was great. Staff was super friendly too even though we came in just before closing time!
(5)Robert S.
(3)Zach V.
Baja Fresh is so good! I eat Chipotle a few times a week and the fact that they have queso here is a huge deal for me! This was quite possibly the best burrito I've had in Atlanta. Quick, Cheep & good! What more can you ask for! I found my new favorite burrito shop!
(5)Phillip L.
No bueno.
(1)Kevin C.
Great quick place to stop and have some quality food between going to the CNN studio tour, the Aquarium, and the Coca-Cola tour.
(4)Matthew E.
It tasted like a burrito my hospital cafeteria could make. I don't like Moe's, but I would advise going there instead. I was highly disappointed and I bet you will be too.
(2)Diamond L.
(5)Dinah R.
(5)Princess S.
(2)Julie S.
(2)Jason G.
(3)Jessica D.
(4)Anna A.
(1)Sarah K.
Love it! Fresh ingredients and interesting combinations. Love the soda fountain too and the pepper/salsa bar is awesome too.
(4)Michael B.
(3)Jenn D.

(3)Kat V.

(4)Parker H.
(4)Lexi H.
My taquitos were delicious and there were 160 coke brand flavors to try which was amusing. The queso dip was alright too. Will be back :)
(5)Jordan B.
Much better than Moes...
(5)Shawnta M.
This place is so FREAKIN good! They blow all of the other burrito joints out of the water! The food is bursting with flavor, the salsa is to die for, and the burrito's are grilled - yum!!! I'm so excited ATL brought Baja back - they were sorely missed :-)
(5)Carissa G.
(5)Scott S.
I've walked past this place many many times without stopping, until today. The food was pretty good for "fast" food. Nice that they have vegetarian options. Got a veggie diablo burrito. The diablo sauce is pretty hot. I will be back, especially since it's a a short walk from the office.
(4)Michael W.
(5)Brittany W.
(4)Aprile M.
This restaurant is 2 stories. You order and get your drinks on the 1st floor. There are some tables on the first floor but more on the 2nd as well as a tv. Food is good and fresh.
(5)Jaclyn R.
I am from California and since moving to Atlanta, I have not been able to find good Mexican food. Also, I have not been able to find a baja fresh in the south! I am so excited this one is here. It's delicious!
(5)Tim M.
Avoid this restaurant in downtown Atlanta. I called to have food delivered to my hotel for my family. It took them over an hour to deliver to food and the order was wrong. When I called the restaurant back, they did not answer the phone. Poor customer service, poor food quality equals no return business.
(1)Chris Z.
(2)Jay W.
(1)Jamie P.
(2)Mike B.
(5)Tilia M.
(3)Zanna M.
(4)Scott S.
(1)Caitlin L.

I guess this is good if you love Mexican food and are really craving some quick bits. If that's not you, then I would opt for something else better.
