This is located where the Border's Books used to be in the Ashford-Dunwoody WalMart shopping center. You cannot make reservations, but (edited to add after happily being corrected: they do have call ahead seating). They are only open for breakfast and lunch. There is often a very long line (30 to 45 minutes) for a table on the weekends. The beignets are excellent. Their bacon is my favorite in Atlanta. I've been here with family and coworkers many times and the food has always been excellent and the service attentive. We've had things like savory burgers, sandwiches, salads, kids meals, egg dishes, etc. It is all delicious! They serve their coffee in stoneware mugs which are cute and homey. The bathroom has several stalls and there is a changing table for little ones. I love this chain, and this location is great.

Excellent service, and attentiveness to the details. We hold a monthly company meeting in their back room and have always enjoyed it. The managers and staff are superb when it comes to customer service and communication. I would highly recommend them for renting their back room for a function. Plus I love breakfast food and they have many solid options for the healthy palate. We are regulars and they are our first morning meeting spot. Beats a crazy Starbucks.

Met some friends here for breakfast, it was crowded and loud. Took a while to get our drinks, about 15 min. We got bloody Mary's and they were good and strong! I tasted several things, sweet potato pancake was good, Mardi Gras omelette was good as well. I like this place but I think it's lil pricey. Oj should not be almost 4.00.

Well came to this place after a morning walk with my wife .. Well first impression was good .. Walking into the Restuarant, being seated .. Then started the worst nightmare .. The waitress was horrible, very rude and unprofessional .. I would say if she doesn't like serving people then get out and do something else .. The English muffin was burnt, I asked the lady to replace it and she brought me another burnt muffin .. Omelet was okie .. Ordered a Chez B's and a veggie delight .. I would give a 3 star *** for the food, only for the fact that Beignets were yummy .. Finally an okie place, but I hope you don't get the waitress

Delicious breakfast location with many egg dishes available, including various Eggs Benedict and Omelet options. I have tried the black bean Eggs Benedict, Hey Lucy Omelet and city grits with stir fry potatoes. Definitely a restaurant I'd come back to for breakfast and lunch!

The only reason I'm going to give this two stars is because the only thing that was good was the orange Juice and water.. I got the salmon eggs Benedict and my spouse got the western omelette and it was horrible... Our bread was rubber and wasn't toasted. Our eggs were cold. The potatoes tasted like cardboard. No flavor at all. The service was awesome. Never got us refills on our drinks. We couldn't even come close to finishing the food. I would never come back here again.

While I agree that the pop of colors from ingredients like green onions and red peppers against bright ceramic serving vessels yields a picture-perfect photo opp, this restaurant chain offers very little else, falling short in terms of both taste and cost. The mediocre, poorly executed meals don't justify the bill, and that's why Another Broken Egg simply is not worth a visit. The restaurants are out to get your money, charging too much for small meal portions and adding extra charges for customization and substitution of food. Bryant and I visited the Dunwoody location on a Thursday for late lunch, grabbing a table by the window. Among the different patrons, of the few that were in the uncrowded restaurant, were couples and small families. Our waitress was rather uncommunicative from the start. While she took our drink order and followed through on it, she didn't verbally interact with us much for the duration of our meal, or even give us a smile. After an ordinary wait time of ~10 minutes, my Crabcakes Cavallo ($14) and Bryant's Stan's Mardi Gras ($12) arrived. My crab cakes didn't have that nice bite that fresh crab often has. I even found a piece of shell in the cakes, just one example of our poorly executed meal. The cakes tasted unpleasantly fishy, as if they had been tinned. My poached eggs, on the other hand, were perfectly runny and pleasantly mixed in with the "Andouille-infused Hollandaise", and the whole dish was topped with diced red peppers and green onions. Bryant's Mardi Gras-inspired omelette contained crawfish, shrimp and Andouille sausage, and was topped with green onions, diced tomato and a tomato-based "Hollandaise". While I'm not very fond of omelettes, Bryant's was well-made: fluffy and flavorful. Both of our dishes came with a split English muffin and "country potatoes," which tasted fine with ketchup and salt, but were nothing spectacular. Our food came in a bright ceramic baking dish with a handle. I had a qualm with our "Hollandaise" sauces, however. They're traditionally known to be opaque and light yellow, from the mixture of egg yolk and butter. The sauces that Bryant and I got were translucent and foamy. I'm all for innovation in the kitchen, but these sauces were mis-characterized. A customer that orders a dish with Hollandaise expects and should receive an actual, traditional Hollandaise sauce, unless warned otherwise. Our restaurant's version had too much butter, which was evident in every mouthful. You're gonna pay at least $2 for sides like grits, black beans and sliced tomatoes, but no less than $3.50 for more substantial sides like ham, bacon and sausage. Their alcoholic drinks start at $6 for a simple screw driver (vodka and OJ) and only get pricier from there. Bryant and I didn't order any fancy drinks, apps or desserts and we paid $17 each... Last summer I had brunch with my sister and our cousin at the Buckhead location, where we ate in the backroom after a 15-minute wait on a weekend afternoon. My expectations for the meal were set very high after witnessing the full restaurant and busy atmosphere. But I sipped on watery coffee and timidly ate my Cinnamon Roll French Toast (3 pieces for $10), which was drowned in a sickly sweet Bananas Foster sauce, and topped with strawberries and blueberries, whipped cream, and a cream cheese icing. I also ordered grits with cheese ($2.59), which was literally just that. Grits and cheese. Maybe I had it coming, but the grits were also unseasoned, gummy and lukewarm. After 5 minutes, they condensed into a solidified mass. I also paid an extra 70 cents for a scant sprinkle of cheese on top of the grits, and I'm still hurting over the whole ordeal. My sister's Veggie Delight Omelette ($10.29) was also above average, though I couldn't detect the goat cheese among the tomato, spinach and mushrooms.

Another Broken Egg Cafe is in the same strip mall as Walmart but on the Western-most end. Some may remember the Border's Book Store that was the anchor on that end (now long gone). I had the change of eating at ABEC with my usual lunch gang - one who is a vegetarian from India who also eats eggs - I try to accommodate him with the occasional breakfast place so he can get more than a couple of veggie sides. This place seemed to food-the-bill, so to speak. I believe Broken Egg is known more for its breakfast food rather than sandwiches, but on this occasion we all bought the latter instead of the former, so please take my review with this in mind. We arrived about 11:30 during a weekday - there wasn't anyone to greet us initially so I got a chance to look around and take a few snaps. It's an interesting restaurant with plenty of farm/country/chicken/egg themes with wood-appearing floors. There's a counter to one side, I'm guessing for diners to wait to be seated or perhaps for a quick bite or espresso. There were two tables seated and this doubled while we ate. The menu is mostly breakfast and featuring, you guessed it, egg and egg combinations. The omelets (Egg-straordinary Omelettes) looked particularly interesting but of course, we decided to go a different route and try the sandwiches. Sid ordered the veggie burger (looks like black bean) with a side of homefries. He said it was good but from looking at the sandwich the burger looked a little undercooked - he still ate it. Both Sangam and myself got the Turkey Burger - mine with a side-salad and his with fries. I thought it was good but nothing exceptional. The pricing seemed a little on the high side but still affordable. Service was a bit spotty - it looked like a single server was handling about a half-dozen tables. In general the experience was good but nothing to write home about. I'll update after we try a second time. (longer review with photos in my food blog)

This is by far one of the best breakfast places I've been to in the city. My friend and I were waited on by Sinivea, who took very good care of us and the food was served hot and delicious. Sinivea deserves special mention for her great attitude and excellent service. Can't say enough good things about this experience!

This place gets busy on weekends and the wait can be 45 minutes for a table, but boy it is delicious! I've been here a few times and our servers have been really friendly and despite the place being full our food always came out fast. The restaurant feels new and squeaky clean with a family oriented atmosphere. My favorite is the Hawaiian French Toast! It's thick cut sweet bread with delicious cinnamon batter. Then I get a side of fresh fruit (which has been a variety of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, grapes, and some melon) or potatoes. I would definitely recommend this place for their fast service, diverse menu, and great food!

I really want to like this place but the service today is just awful. I think I will spend breakfast elsewhere. Again, the food is good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Be prepared to wait after your wait.

Disappointing. I was looking for a great breakfast place to take my family when they were in town and this was NOT it! We usually go to Egg Harbor in Sandy Springs but I was worried about the wait with 7 people. Let me start by saying that I have never written a bad review before, so this is a first. I'll start with the positives. The service was good. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very good. I walked in with a group of 7 at noon on July 4th and we were seated in about 30 minutes. The one compliment I can give to the food is that the appetizer beignets were delicious. They come with a really good honey and orange dipping sauce. Everyone in my group loved them. TIP: You can get the beignets for free by downloading the app "Stealz". They advertised this on a sign at the table with a picture of the appetizer with 8 beignets, so that is what I ordered. When checks came, I showed my waiter the coupon on the app and he told me that could only be used on the 4 beignet appetizer. He was understanding of the false advertising and still gave them to me for free anyway. Now for the negatives. FOOD. I decided to splurge on the $15 lobster and brie omelette. It was disgusting. The eggs were lower quality than McDonalds and everything on my plate tasted artificial and bland. I ended up only eating the breakfast potatoes - not because they were great, but because they were the only thing I could stomach. My boyfriend ordered the lakeshore scrambler and said it was not hot or flavorful. His meal still managed to be slightly better than mine. Looking around the table, I can tell you that the only people who somewhat enjoyed their meals did NOT get eggs. The French toast looked the best out of everything. Moral of the story: skip Another Broken Egg and go to Egg Harbor in Sandy Springs instead.

I enjoyed this place! It's great for nice group brunches. I grabbed a mojito while waiting (which was okay but I guess I can't expect the best mixed drinks @ a brunch place) and the service was excellent. Food was good as well. I would go back here!

I really love Another Broken Egg, I tried them in Florida before they opened up shop here in Atlanta and I have always been a fan of their omelets. On this occasion just stopped in for some brunch with a friend. We got the free order of Beignets via the app Stealz. I ordered the lobster and brie omelet and a screwdriver. The food was Ok certainly not the same quality as the location in Florida. My omelet was under seasoned and it wasn't enough....the service was turtle slow....luckily I was enjoying my company because we waited over 40 mins for our food making the brunch an hour and half long. They need to really get on top of the kitchen crew and their pace. I know it's a made fresh breakfast but it's no excuse for breakfast to take that long. All in all I'd skip this location and go elsewhere.

STUPID GOOD! Service top notch, thank you Sharonna!! The Crab cakes Cavalla (eggs benedict on a crab cake) absolutely outstanding with the right touch of hollandaise sauce and then the Shrimp & Grits have just the right Cajun spice. We will be visiting this place again and hopefully Sharonna will be there again.

The after church Sunday crowd makes for some interesting wait times but it's so worth it. I typically ask servers what's their fave menu items. Many moons ago, I was told to order the french toast and top it with bananas foster. I'm not some huge banana fan typically. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! I have a hard time ordering other items because it's flawless. I suggest it with a side of bacon for that occasional sweet relief. The beignets are yummy goodness as well as the cinnamon roll. The mimosas are awesome and presented so well. The skinny omelet was disgusting. The goat cheese seemed off and it sent my friend straight to the potty. I love this (diet killer) place in Dunwoody!

Food, service, and atmosphere most enjoyable. Our server Jasmine made our meal even more enjoyable. She was patient, fast, attentive, and always quick with a smile. Definitely represents the establishment very well. The food we had was very good. We tried several dishes. All nicely done. My wife and I split the 'Skinny omelette' and steel cut oats with berries...perfect breakfast for us! We give it up!!

I discovered this restaurant when I moved here a year ago. The food is so good, the customer service is impeccable. Just by chance almost every time I visit, I get Sharona who just brings my experience all together. She is an amazing server and keeps me coming back. Thanks Dottie & James

Very busy place especially on weekends. But all you have to do is give your phone number and you will receive an iMessage in 15 mins saying your table is ready. Food is above average. If you are a chicken lover, you might be disappointed. I didn't even say a single thing with chicken on menu. Maybe I just over read it. Well lot of healthy options, nice customer service. Overall it was a good experience.

I will not right a long review because you should know 2 things about me.... 1- I am very particular 2- I love great food and even better service This place hit both on the head. We were a group of 5 and we each purposely ordered a different item so I could sample off each other's plates... everyone left happy. Our server was a red head and she was out of this world..... I will be back soon..... I hope the others have the same 5 star service and food... this location has set a high bar for the other locations.... I posted some pictures and the pictures don't do justice to the aroma and unique flavors of each entree

It's a decent brunch spot with an extensive brunch and lunch menu. I liked the crab cakes Benedict. This particular location is sizable, so wait times should be minimal. I would go back and try some of the other locations.

I love this location! James is always so friendly and gives amazing service. Besides that...the food is always excellent and speedy. It's definitely becoming my go-to breakfast spot. I recommend the beignets, the Hey Lucy and the crab cakes cavallo.

Excellent food and service. We came for Sunday brunch so there was a long wait. And our food took a long time. But our server, Katie, was awesome. She kept the coffee refills coming faster than we could drink it. And she pestered the kitchen about getting our food out faster. When it came, one of the meals was lukewarm. But the taste was excellent so we just asked for a quick warm-up, not a redo. They took care of it quickly and gave us a $5 discount on our check for the inconvenience.

Sadly I can't review this positive nor recommend this restaurant. What I ordered was supposed to be one of their specialties. The crabcakes were only fair the great cakes were robbery and soggy as if they microwaved them and then re microwave them and maybe microwaved them again. The hollandaise sauce that was on the top was like a thick Mannys and less than room temperature I would say closer to cold and globs on top of my meal. The English muffin was only slightly if it all toasted. I tried to dig in and enjoy this meal that I had looked forward to treating myself to only to have a few bites and realize there was no way I was going to get past it and enjoy it so I did return the meal. Only to have a manager come out and let me know the fruit that I received which was several days old was cut today which one fruit is translucent and watery you know it several days old. She also made sure to let me know that she personally made the hollandaise sauce at 6:30 in the morning. That's all good as long as it's kept warm throughout the morning I don't know if I was supposed to feel bad that I didn't like it because she made it or what the case was howeverit was cold and it wasn't good. They did replace my meal with a fresh bowl of fruit a couple poached eggs ham grits with no seasoning and cold English muffin that might've been toasted earlier slightly. That meal took approximately 20 minutes to receive which is kind of unbelievable for a make up meal to take that long. Altogether I was in there by myself for one and a half hours and truly did not enjoy my dining experience I would say this restaurant need some serious revitalization

Not worth the 50 minute wait. My boyfriend and I came here today and ordered the bananas foster waffle to share. He then ordered the classic bacon burger with potatoes and I got the shrimp and grits. When our food was brought to the table I was disappointed with how small the shrimp were but nonetheless it was tasty just needed to be seasoned a bit more. My boyfriend's burger was dry and or overcooked. However, the waffle was delicious! I wish I would have just ordered that by itself because after eating that first it made me disappointed with my shrimp and grits all over again. The waitress was sweet and down to earth. Overall, the food was okay. I would not come back here unless it was my last brunch resort.

JACK AND CHEDDAR GRITS Best grits I've ever had. So simple, so cheesy, so delicious. A must get every time I eat here. HEY LUCY Omelette with avocado, chorizo, Jack cheese, sour cream. Very good but very filling. Comes with English muffin which you can substitute out for a pancake if you want. And breakfast potatoes which you can substitute for the grits, which I HIGHLY recommend. SERVER Charonne was great. She made our meal wonderful, great attentiveness and personality, and she helped me order the grits, which sealed the deal for me coming here at least once a week now.

Decent breakfast, poor service. I ordered the Black Bean benedict and the beignets as an appetizer. The Beignets were warm and delicious, the marmalade was not very flavorful. The Black bean cakes were not as crispy as I would have liked them to be, but the flavor, and cilantro sauce was good! The service was poor, the waitress was not very careful or graceful. She dropped straws and plates on our table without care and even spilled water on me and did not apologize. Overall, for a 20 minute wait, the food was good, but I wouldn't frequent this place again due to the quality of service. There wasn't anything incredibly appealing or intriguing.

I think every table around me had an issue with the food, including me. Poached eggs were overdone and the redo ended up slightly underdone. Either way, the eggs Benedict didn't have any flavor to them.

I Went On A Sunday afternoon we waited for over a hour. Once we were seated we waited for another 10 to 15 mins to get waited on. If a restaurant has amazing food I can't get upset about a long wait if no reservations are made on my behalf. On the other hand if the food is mediocre I could have turned around and went somewhere else. I had the Floridian omelet which was okay nothing to write home about, the city grits were surprisingly tasty. My highlight of the entire meal was the free beignets that they bagged up for me for being a first time customer. Overall, I was not impressed and probably will not be back anytime soon.

Food made to order!!! The food is delicious and comes out in a timely fashion. Jordan was my server the times I have gone . She is excellent!!! I can't begin to tell you what a breath of fresh air it is to have a server who is so attentive and curtious . Even when she had multiple tables , she was able to take care of all her guests. She is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Always has a smile on . I'll definitely be going back .

This is my choice over a lot of other breakfast choices in the area because they have so many better options and a lot of creative dishes that highlight their Restaurant personality. I can't say I have a complaint about any of their dishes at all they do a great job of pairing sauces toppings and evens marmalade with the dishes. We came for a friends birthday recently and although they don't do a free birthday dish or dessert we ordered the beignets and they came out with a candle and a freestyle birthday song and dance. It was awesomely embarrassing for us and for my birthday friend

It's pretty hard to go wrong with a brunch joint. Love this place! Like any other competitors around the area, they're usually packed on weekends until closing (2pm). AREA/PARKING ABEC is located within the same plaza as Walmart, Olive Garden, Jason's Deli, Taki, etc. It has a private lot so plenty of parking. SERVICE/HOURS Store hours are from 7am-2pm. I've come here twice so far both on a weekend either Saturday or Sunday and the wait has been 20-30 minutes both times. Service is swift and the food came out within 10-15 minutes after ordering. Not bad for when it's busy! ENTREES TO ORDER: -The Yolk 7.69 (2 eggs any style, English muffin, and seasoned country potatoes). You can add choice of meat 8.99 (sausage, bacon, ham) for an extra charge. -French Toast 9.99 is to die for. Simple and delicious. Perfect amount of cinnamon. I did this during one of my visits and 'made it a combo,' 2 eggs and bacon 3.19. -Eggs Benedict 11.99 (grilled breakfast ham, 2 poached eggs, hollandaise, green onions and a side of seasoned country potatoes): This entree is tasty and filling. Add some Cholula/Tabasco to spice it up a little! They also serve Gluten-Free and Vegetarian options.

Went to Another Broken Egg today for the first time with some friends who raved about the place. We were told the wait would be an hour. Our friends were considering just going to J Chris but because some of us had never been to ABE before, we decided to stay. Mistake #1. After being seated, our waitress approached our table with water and took our drink orders. We were all drinking bellinis and thank goodness for that otherwise the sober experience would have been that much worse. She took our orders, I had The Lucy, my friend had the ultimate, and another friend had the biscuits and gravy. I have no complaints on the food because the food was actually pretty good! However, after our server took our food order, she never came back. There were multiple please tables getting upset about the kitchen times and terrible service as we could overhear convos with the manager. I am sincerely a patient person as I bartend and have worked in the service industry since I was 15. A long kitchen wait isn't an issue for me especially because there are a multitude of issues that could cause that, and a lot of the times the kitchen staff is working their ass off, understaffed, to get it under control. My problem was that our server NEVER returned. Didn't fill our empty waters once, didn't come by to let us know that the food was noticeably taking a while but it was coming, nothing. Shit Im surprised she put our order in...maybe she quit on her shift?? We ate our food and all took out our cards prepared to just hand them to her when she finally came by, to avoid two trips. But that was the thing...SHE NEVER CAME BACK. We sat there for 30 minutes until I finally asked one of the girls at the computer if they could print our tab. A manager was over there and said she would print them but didn't apologize for the ridiculously awful service or anything. We did hear them run to the back yelling "WHO HAD TABLE 59?!??!" And no one would admit to it. Our checks were printed, brought over, and we left. The food was good, but not any better than First Watch or J Christopher's. Because of the seriously awful service, I doubt I'll be back. At least not this location.

I'm not even sure where to begin. The food was fantastic, the service attentive and the price affordable. If you plan on eating here on the weekend CALL AHEAD AND PUT YOUR NAME ON THE LIST. That is a definite unless you enjoy waiting for an hour to eat. When we call ahead we are usually seated in less than five minutes. I recommend the Crab Cakes Cavallo but I've never seen anything here I wouldn't eat. This will change the way you think about breakfast; it is that good.

Service here was very friendly. I was grateful to have a place to kill some time between appointments. It was after breakfast, yet before lunch. Somehow the server still took a while to get to me. I'm sure they were busy doing things in the kitchen before the lunch crowd hit. You could tell the place was in a lull, though there were still plenty of people chatting and having some food. My Floridian omelette was average. It was not bad, but it didn't knock my socks off. I had to liven it up with Tabasco. And I'm not a fan of Tabasco. I mean, it's alright, but haven't we gotten to the point where something other than a vinegar-based hot-sauce may be offered alongside that venerable tradition? Give me some options, man! How about some Cholula or something? I had to do a double-take on the bill. My omelette plus a glass of orange juice cost me nearly $20. For that much money, the omelette had better impress me. And it didn't. I very much appreciate the staff here. But the food leaves me wanting more.

We ate here on Father's Day and our meal was great. The best part of our visit was our waiter, James. He was very attentive and friendly. He took our order without writing it down and got everything correct even down to our special request. When we visit again I am surely going to request for him.

Let me just start with saying that i don't ever wrote yelp reviews, but this visit has been so disappointing. We got here and they said it would be a 35 minute wait, that's fine. They got us in in 20 minutes, awesome! We got sat and immediately the waitress was rushing and barely got out drink order before going to another table, which she then spent another 10 minutes talking to. We then got a new waitress, who I don't know the name of. She took our order then immediately took the tables order behind us. 10 minutes later the table behind us got our food, 15 minutes everyone else in the room we were in had their food. 25 minutes we got our food. Our food was awful. We got the southwest skillet, with pancakes. We also order the Lucy omelette. It was all bad. Wouldn't recommend it.

Came here for Brunch and ordered breakfast. It was pretty busy on a Saturday, but we only waited 10 minutes. As soon as we sat down we were waited on after 5 minutes. The server was very friendly. I got the Herbed Skinny Omelet which is egg whites and has roasted red peppers, goat cheese, asparagus and green onions. Sided with an English muffin and new potatoes. All was delicious which came out hot and fresh. I especially loved my omelet. It was seasoned just right and they put a fair amount of goat cheese which I was not expecting. My only con was I asked for no red peppers and it was on my omelet. It's okay because it was not much and I picked it off. This is an awesome restaurant and would like to try other items on the menu besides their breakfast. It is very clean, including the restrooms.

The wait was not worth it. We were quoted a 35 minute wait time and it took fifty minutes. We ordered immediately after being seated and our food took another 25 minutes. The coffee is extremely acidic. Our server was very attentive, and it wasn't her fault things took so long but a good server can't make up for a poor meal. The eggs clearly come from egg beaters, and the menu should so indicate. Also, our "toast" was nothing more than warm bread. With flying biscuit as an option, we won't be back.

On June 3rd 2015 I was close by this location, and went out of my way to dine here, and when I arrived I saw the heath score of a C, I will not eat anywhere that does not have an A, so I had to eat next door at the pizza restaurant. That ticked me off, I didnt want pizza, I wanted to try this place again, since I tried the one in johns creek, and was not very thrilled, but what I seen on atlanta eats made me want to try all of the broken egg locations. nope I wont try this one! I know how health scores work, and when you get a bad score, they dont post it until they come back a week later, and if you cant pass with a decent score by then, and you get a C.......it's nasty!

Cute and yummy just about sums up on Another Broken Egg. I dropped in for lunch on a rainy Tuesday afternoon with a few of my co-workers to make an escape from the stuffy office cafeteria. I hadn't even realized that this place is tucked away in the bustling strip mall with the Walmart, DSW, and Hobby Lobby. It would make for a great lunch break during a weekend shopping excursion! I immediately felt cheerier when I walked through the doors - the interior is bright and warm with yellows and oranges. They've got the comfy country thing going on. It makes it feel like you're at Grandma's house for brunch. They have TVs mounted on the walls showing ESPN and the news (which kind of takes away from the Grandma's house feeling because of course Grandma wouldn't want the TV on while dining). We were seated at a table by the window, and our server was quick to attend to us and take our drink orders. She tried in vain to tempt us with mimosas, but two of my dining companions ordered cappuccinos which were served up in cute little branded mugs. They have a great menu with both hearty and sweet selections. It's definitely tough to decide with so many tempting dishes ranging from sweet potato pancakes to black bean sliders. I ordered the skinny omelette - a veggie-filled egg white combination that comes with a side of English muffin and fresh fruit. It came out on a beautiful plate in a ceramic dish and looked like it was fresh out of Southern Living! The omelette was well cooked but tasted a little bit bland. I added a little bit of pepper and it tasted just right. My co-worker ordered the sweet potato pancakes and they looked/smelled positively design. A bit too dessert-y for my lunch preference, but it apparently tasted as good as it looked! Our server was clearly used to the business lunch crowd - she quickly cleared our table and split up our checks without us asking. Very attentive and efficient of her! Bottom line: a quaint and charming little spot with a great variety of tasty homestyle options. This is a place that I would love to come back to for a leisurely brunch occasion.

I love Another Broken Egg Cafe as a chain. I've eaten at several of their Atlanta locations and I've always enjoyed my food. I came to the Dunwoody location because I was über excited to have a chain located near my house. The hostess was extremely pleasant and we only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Once we were seated we did have to wait a really long time for a server. She was pleasant but never apologized for the long wait or inconvenience. She seemed a bit upset that we wanted to immediately place our order since we had waited so long (and were extremely hungry) to be served. I ordered the pancakes and made it a combo with turkey sausage and scrambled eggs. The pancakes were filling and they were so hot I burned my tongue! They turkey sausage was so delicious I wanted to order a second plate! Overall even with the longer wait I had a good experience. I would recommend this location and I would highly recommend this chain to someone.

I was taking my mom to breakfast this morning to kick off her Birthday adventures. I could not decide between our fav spot or going here and trying something new near home so we decided on breakfast here. I asked if they had flavored coffee and she said yes hazelnut - so mom & I both ordered hazelnut coffee. She brought the coffee and said she would return with the flavoring. She brought it on a shot glass. I asked if it was an extra charge for the hazelnut syrup and she said there was so I told her to take it back. Some things would be good to know up front. I have never seen this before & thought it was an odd way to serve flavored coffee. I ordered the pancake combo with scrambled eggs & cheese and bacon. My eggs arrived with a long black hair running thru them. Needless to say I sent them back and when they remade them they came without the cheese (but also without the hair). The bacon had a very smoky taste was very thick cut & was extremely salty. I really did not enjoy anything I ordered and was kicking myself for not going to Egg Harbor. I do not recommend going to this place and I will never return. I dismissed several other bad reviews this month & I won't make that mistake again when choosing the next restaurant.

Very slow service! We waited about half an hour before seated while we found out there were a lot of empty seats inside later. We waited another half an hour for the food. Food is terrible. Not going to come back.

I came in for breakfast, not a sales pitch, but that's what we got from our server (/bartender?) on a weekday morning. Overheard her also trying to sell mimosas and bloody mary's to a table of gentlemen who were clearly on their way to work. Common sense? Not much. The service was bearable, but the errors were not. I kept thinking to myself "please, write my order down" and she didn't so, of course, it came out wrong. I was nearly done with my meal when my dining companion's meal finally arrived. My buttermilk pancakes were decent. I ordered a side of poached eggs and they tasted like pure vinegar. My guess is they used way too much in the poaching liquid. Turkey sausage was good. The Hey Lucy omelette was also decent, but heavy-handed with the peppers. Potatoes were the best part of the plate. A decent place that needs some tweaking. Until then, I'll head to Egg Harbor Cafe.

I walked in not expecting the long wait so to me what was a good sign. Since I was alone I decided to sit at the bar. James was very helpful, attentive and even gave me some complimentary beignets! I ordered crab cakes cavallo, which was delicious, I will be back!!

Oatmeal was microwaved and dry, and overpriced. No real meat portion in the omelette for $11. Some meeting people had left no music for the rest of the paying customers. Server (Jessica) was cold like a robot. Placed us in the cold, quiet backroom. Not nearly as good as the Roswell/Norcross location. Spending my $40 for breakfast somewhere else.

Decided to find breakfast closer to the hotel this time in ATL and was pleasantly surprised that there was a Broken Egg nearby. I've been to the Flying Biscuit and I love their style and food. The 'Egg' is much like TFB minus the eccentric menu items or 'hip' factor/appeal. Best part about this place was no wait. I've seen other breakfast places in ATL on Saturdays and Sundays and they all have waits. This place is kind of tucked away by the wal-mart; it also may be new. So take advantage of it before everyone finds this place! The crab cakes with poached eggs was superb! We couldn't pass up a real Belgian waffle. It was like eating candied air with drops of heavenly sweetness on top. The staff was nice and the food came out in good time - it was pretty busy that day. I'll be back and next time we'll sit at the bar!

This morning was the first time I have eaten at this cafe and I had a lovely time. We were seated immediately and our waitress was not only attentive, but truly delightful. I enjoyed a cappuccino as I looked over the menu and ordered pancakes with eggs on the side. The food came out promptly and looked great! There is a lovely hint of citrus in the butter that came with my pancakes and I am already craving more. The eggs were perfectly prepared: the right level of moistness and fluffiness. The restaurant itself was not too loud and it was easy to enjoy my food and company in the clean, bright atmosphere.

Biggest waste of fifty bucks toast was luke warm, sausage was terrible grits were tasteless eggs no taste cold and under cooked. We tried it and will never come bacl. Waffle house and ihop have you beat. Resturant was run by attitude black employess that were loud and catered to the black patrons .This will be the downfall of your business, I know you don't want to hear that but it is what it is.

I dined here for the first time on 4th of July for brunch with two girlfriends. The wait was pretty long..about 20 minutes, thankfully they have a comfortable waiting area. It has a very southern homey feel to it, which I enjoyed. Their brunch menu for the most part is pretty typical..french toast, omelettes, a few variations of eggs benedict, etc. For our app, we ordered biscuit beignets for the table. It was a generous serving, definitely enough for three people . I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were, considering I haven't had a good beignet experience in Atlanta. They were well complimented with a honey marmalade dipping sauce. These are what will bring me back! For my entree I had the 'Black Bean Benedict' with a side of diced potatoes. The potatoes were too dry for my taste, and a little bland; I finished them up by drowning it in ketchup. A little gross maybe, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I enjoyed my eggs benedict, but again I found the black bean cakes to be dry - and spicy. A little too spicy for my taste buds to handle. Definitely a decent place for brunch..but for the price we could do a little better.

Called ahead with a reservation. Get there and had to wait about a half an hour. Why make a reservation? Then when seated had to wait forever for food...thankfully I was with good company. Food was decent though.

Is this a chain? Because Egg Harbor Cafe is SO similar... Good coffee. Slow service (I think we were forgotten on MULTIPLE occasions, since we were never assigned a waiter...). Beignets were hot, sweet, and paired well with the coffee. I ordered an omelette: "The Supreme" and it was quite yummy. Too bad it took a while to get to our table.. I really like how they use Belly app for rewards though, that was pretty cool. Every time you check in on the app, you can redeem points for rewards like a free coffee, free mug, or free beignets! So definitely need to come back for that.

I wouldn't suggest this place or come back. The food was dry and bland. I ordered the black bean Benedict and the poached eggs were so overcooked they looked like hard boiled eggs. The manager brought out two more which weren't much better, so I just had the bean burgers. The omelettes were so dry. The potatoes were probably the best thing, just fried potato chunks. The service was slow and there weren't that many people. Two thumbs down.

I'm a couple of days late on this entry but I would still like to share my experience. I went to brunch this past Saturday with a friend to have girl time. The reviews that I read prior to coming here was mixed so I decided to take the risk and judge it for myself. Our waitress by the name of Courtney was extremely nice. She visited our table several times and she was very patient because we were too busy talking rather than making a decision of what we wanted. Good service is hard to come by and can be a deal breaker; however she helped make our experience good. I started with a mimosa. I wish they were bottomless but nonetheless it was good. We both ordered the Popeye Sizzler. I added green peppers and my friend added red peppers. Our orders were correct when they came out which was a plus. I will say that my dish was lacking eggs and a little soupy as I did ask that they fry the eggs hard. My friends dish came out perfectly. Overall it was pretty good. Additionally, the host that seated us was very pleasant and attentive. She overheard us mentioning that it was our first time here and made it a point to ask us about our visit upon exiting. The food was good and so was the service. I will definitely visit again!

The first time I visited this restaurant, I vowed never to return, but hungry for a quick bite after work, I ventured in and left disappointed yet again. I stupidly ordered a crab cake side ($6.99), which I think was canned Krab, I wiped away a tear of sadness and went on to my entrée. I ordered the shrimp and crawfish omelette, and frankly they should leave seafood to real restaurants. The omelette was under seasoned and the cheese was melted on top of the omelette! I won't make the same mistake for the third time! Only Pro: They have mint tea and brown sugar packets!

I recently had breakfast at this restaurant and received excellent service and food. I ordered the omelet with crawfish, crab, and sausage and it was soooo good. I am allergic to gluten and was told that their side potatoes are fried with other items that may contain flour. After speaking with my waitress, Rose, she sent her manager, Carlotta Johnson, to my table to make sure that I would receive proper service. The manager assured me that she would have her kitchen staff prepare my meal in separate pans. I felt confident that my order was receiving good care. Carlotta was an excellent manager, very friendly, and went out of her way to make sure my meal was above satisfaction during the restaurant's peak hours. I recommend this place to anyone with a gluten allergy or just anyone that wants a great brunch.

Dear manager of ABEC, You need to train your staff on how to handle food allergies. For example, when a customer inquires about ingredients, it's probably best for your wait staff to find out whether the food that's being questioned contains the allergen. Next time, I'll wait for my daughter to actually throw up on your floor then you'll take my inquiry more seriously. Oh wait...there won't be a next time.

Not bad for a new establishment and a chain. We were immediately seated at 915am on a Saturday and were presented with a lengthy menu. It took us longer than it should to make decisions about what we wanted to try - usually our server (at other establishments) would be helpful providing suggestions as to their favorites, what is most popular, what items would fit our current tastes/desires. Unfortunately, our server was a bit of a brick wall when it came to helpful direction. I'm not sure if it was his fault, as it seemed like maybe he had barely eaten anything off the menu. I opted for the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and a side order of a biscuit with gravy. Now, according to the menu, the CRFT comes layered with cream cheese icing, Banana's Foster sauce, mixed berries & whipped cream. Now all of that seemed super sweet to me, so I asked for all of the toppings to be brought on the side. What came to me was plain french toast, a dish of the mixed berries and a small plastic ramekin of butter and syrup. No cream cheese icing. No Banana's Foster sauce. No whipped cream. I had enough food, and didn't need the extra sweet, so I didn't put up a fight, or even bring it up. But poor form. Now the biscuit and gravy - awesome. The biscuit was toasted maybe? Fluffy on the inside, and the gravy was sausagey and the right level of salt. They need help and maybe the server just shouldn't be working there - we never got his name or anything. Try the menu, Dude. And listen to the customers's requests.

I belong to Lindy F.'s school of thought: Not bad. I met a good friend for Sunday breakfast earlier today and luckily, she arrived on time and got our name on the list. By the time I jogged up to the door, we were being called in. I got scrambled eggs with baked bacon, an English muffin, and blackberry grits. Everything was pretty good. The eggs were not overcooked and the bacon was crispy without being greasy. The English muffin was typical and the grits were slightly interesting with the blackberry compote on top. Normally, I would give an establishment like this 4 stars, if the food and service are really good. Because I believe in rating based on the proper category of the restaurant. The restaurant was pretty busy, but nothing that I haven't seen before so I was disappointed that service was sub-par. Still, I'd go back to meet someone here for breakfast or brunch, if it is the most central point for all parties involved.

Pros? They serve Alcohol for breakfast. Con's ? Everything else. No care taken with the quality of the food. Mediocre at best (second time at this location). The service is worse, seems to be a culture here. So much better places to eat nearby.

  • Shacarra J.

Please ask them what their health rating is prior to eating. When we went in on 6/14/15 their score was a 75C!!!!! They tried to say it was because of the AC but it wasn't. It was cleanliness and stored food temperatures weren't cold/hot enough. I was bummed because I really wanted to try this restaurant. Hopefully there is another location with an A+ rating.

I frequent this place often and usually sit at the bar. Service is always impeccable and the food is delicious with many options. They have alcohol if you need a Bloody Mary or mimosa to pair with your omelet/hangover.

I chose this spot for a late breakfast before heading into work. I don't normally visit this area, I live more south, however I am very happy about choosing this place. I ordered the oatmeal with berries to go, because I was in a little rush, and also picked up a muffin for a co worker. The oatmeal was great, disassembled in the to go box so I could make it how I liked! The muffin was so/ so (I had a bite of my co workers to try ) it wasn't pretty but being hand made, I'm assuming, I'm okay with that! It was a standard blueberry muffin with no "wow" factor. It wasn't dry, however it did have an over cooked feel. Maybe it was an over mix rather. Either way if I am ever in the area again I would choose to eat a quick breakfast from here, the lady behind the bar was so sweet the entire time, so my customer service experience was fantastic!

I haven't really decided if this place is good or just plain ol mediocre at it's best... Of course there are alot of"egg" inspired courses one can choose from, but for the money I was not at all impressed with the presentation, bland food, our lack of options.. I have yet decided if whether or not I silk few returning, but I can earnestly say our is a heck of a lot better than waffle house!

We went here for brunch. I got omelette "Hey, Lucy" and my husband had Salmon Benny. My omelet was great, no doubts here:)) but Benny came a bit cold a bit disappointed on that + service was slow.. And for Dessert we grabbed a Belgian waffle, which was okey, nothing crazy about it;)) ps: Bellini was great!

After perusing a few different brunch options on a recent Sunday, Another Broken Egg Cafe was the winner. A friend and I arrived around noon to a 20ish minute wait. No biggie. We ended up getting seated by 1230 which meant we could order mimosas. It's the small things, ya know? I always have a hard time deciding between savory and sweet when it comes to brunch. The waffles and pancakes looked great, but so did their benedicts and skillets. I ended up going with the smoked salmon benedict with a side of the berry grits. Mmmm. I was very happy with my choice. The benedict was nice and salty and the grits provided a slightly sweet accompaniment. The food could have been a bit warmer for my liking, but it wasn't too bad. The service was OK. Not the best. But it was pretty busy and we were in no rush so it wasn't a huge deal. The one knock against this place is it is a big on the pricey side. Not too bad, but for brunch in Dunwoody as opposed to Atlanta, you'd think it would be a bit cheaper. But I'll definitely be back. Those waffles are calling my name.

This is a great place for a great brunch. The menu options offer a big variety so odds are that everyone in your group will find something they will like. The also have great brunch drinks. I enjoyed their red sangria. We also took our 3 month old and felt comfortable having a child with us. The entire staff was very friendly. We look forward to going again

Had brunch here with a great friend of mine. She always takes me to great restaurants and I finally found one she had not been to. We both loved it! I ordered the crab cake cavallo and she ordered the egg Benedict with steak on it (can't remember the name). We shared entrees and I must say mine was better. The steak was a little tough & over done even though she asked for medium. It definitely was not medium. I also ordered a side of grits because I knew I would bring the hubby back if I like it and if any breakfast or brunch place doesn't have grits he doesn't wanna go. They offered the grits with blackberries...Oh the horror!! I couldn't imagine berries and grits (in the South grits should go with butter & salt, ijs). I must say they were creamy and delicious so I'll have to bring him here. We had a leisurely brunch catching up and even though they were busy our waitress never rushed us. I also ordered the cucumber Bloody Mary. It was great very fresh & definitely had kick. The only drawback was the wait. Not the wait itself but seating process. I got there about 10 mins before my friend and put our name on the list and they gave me one of the vibrating thingys. After she showed up we sat outside in the cold because there was no room inside. After about 30 mins, I decided to go check to see how long. I saw on the sheet they had sat parties after us and when I politely asked how much longer for our party the young lady looked on the list and said "oh I can seat you now." I was thankful because I was cold and starving but I wondered how long we would have waited if I didn't ask ;(. Other than the wait issue I will go back. Prices were reasonable and the food was good!

The family went to brunch on Mother's Day at Another Broken Egg. We had heard about it from others and taken a look at the website, so we were excited to try it. Since it was Mother's Day at 1pm, there was quite a line inside and outside of the restaurant. They said it would be approximately 45 minutes to seat us, so we just hung out in the car for a while and then sat outside after about 30 minutes. I'm glad we went up because after a few minutes, a server came out with a plate of bengiets and they were DELICIOUS! Not much later, our buzzer went off and we were seated. It's a very nice looking place with modern decor and a friendly staff. My youngest son ordered a children's pancake & sausage meal (surprised it was sausage OR eggs, but whatever). My oldest son (who had better be successful when he gets older due to his expensive taste ordered the benedict oscar (steak and crab), the wife got a crab cake benedict, and I got the banana's foster french toast with sausage and eggs. For the most part, all of the food was really good; the only issue was the temperature. Nothing was hot. The French toast was borderline cold; the saving grace was the hot maple syrup that I poured on it. Everything else was just luke warm. The flavors were definitely there; I'm just assuming that because of the crowd, our food must have sat in the window for a while. I'm definitely going to go back (especially since they gave me a free meal due to the cold food), and I hope they've got the temp issue corrected. I'll update my review once I do.

My friend recomended this place and it was so good. I was sat with a really nice server who was very polite and helpful. I ended up just getting an omlette which I don't usually eat but this one was absolutely delicious. Only drawback was the wait but that was understandable because it was a busy Sunday morning, plus the food and the experience made up for it.

Maybe I didn't have a good entree, but I wasn't that impressed. The service was slow and we were the only people in the restaurant, so I'm not sure what the problem was. The dining experience wasn't bad by any means, but it was just one of those places that when you think back on them, you go, yes that was ok, but I wouldn't go back.

Some of the most unique and most delicious French toast I have ever had, And I have to mention... I don't even like French toast, so this was a plus. On the other hand the server we maybe saw one time. After my friends being without a coffee refill for over 10 min. I would skip on the omelets. they are incredibly salty and overpowering. they aren't really that good so if you're going to go for anything I would definitely take the French toast. Yumm!

Service was great and the food was really good! I got the eggs Benedict with avocado and my boyfriend got the pancakes. The eggs Benedict was awesome! The pancakes were also good but nothing too special...just normal buttermilk pancakes. Overall, a surprisingly great experience for a breakfast place in a shopping center.

Best thing on the menu : Beignets Delicious, hot and wouldn't change a thing #5stars Then I move on to eggs that tasted like they were out of a carton , waffle with strawberries that you pay extra for had 1 strawberry cut into the smallest slivers possible (who wants 1 strawberry!) Disappointing..... And a first never experienced that ... I didn't ask for strawberries for garnish, but taste Overall hit and miss, but would try again maybe different location

I enjoyed the food here... Our table had the biscuit beignets (good, but no Cafe du Monde), fried green onions (yummy and garlicky), and huevos rancheros (pretty standard) which were all good. My favorite thing was the City Grits - worth the extra money for the upgrade! And they were nice enough to let us linger around for quite a while (it wasn't crazy busy). A good taste of the South. :)

It's hard to find a good breakfast place. Some are over priced and some offer tiny portions and others are down right greasy (unless you like greasy) with butter-fried butter and a side of high blood pressure. So, when Another Broken Egg Café open its door close by I tried it. This was my first time at ABEC and I was both pleased and disappointed. It should be noted that ABEC is not only for breakfast. They also serve brunch and lunch but no dinner. The atmosphere at this particular establishment is enhanced by colorful flat surface and open areas. This promotes a sense of cleanliness but makes the restaurant very loud when you're trying to have a conversation. The menu is the star at ABEC. Healthy and creative is the theme. We had the opportunity to try many of the dishes: - Biscuit Beignets - Monster Cinnamon Roll - Seasonal Fruit Plate - Steel Cut Oats - Yogurt and Fruit Parfait - Granola, Fruit and Quinoa - Cinnamon Roll French Toast - Lobster and Brie Omelette - Veggie Delight Omelette - Eggs Benedict - Santa Fe Burger - Reuben Supreme - Latte, Cappuccino, and Espresso Our favorites were the beignets, steel cut oats, the veggie omelette, and the seasonal fruit plate. I especially enjoyed the fruit plate (more like a platter) with drizzled honey and fresh mint. The disappointment was with the prices. The portions for price did not seem consistent. The beignets were $5 (sensible) while the granola, fruit and quinoa was $9.99 (just say $10 - whoa!). All the omelettes (except the Fontainbleau) are over $10 dollars and come with and english muffin and country potatoes. And, the burgers and sandwiches are $9-$10 dollars. Bottomline, be prepared to come out with $13-$20 per person unless you are drinking water. Would I visit here again? Yes, and I have. Will I frequent Another Broken Egg Café? Not on my budget. Overall, it's worth a try. See for yourself if Another Broken Egg Café is for you and then let me know.

Enjoyed the food. The cream cheese wasn't spread throughout the omelette. My friend had to send her food back because one item was over cooked and the other was under cooked. The couple next to us also had to send their food back. I would return and try something else to see if the rating would remain the same.

Came here with friends on their recommendation for Saturday morning brunch. I was not disappointed. The biscuit beignets were great. Warm with a nice crunch and sweet from powdered sugar on top. I had cinnamon roll French toast, I recommend leaving off the bananas foster sauce as I did because its REALLY sweet. Our waitress was really nice an took extra good care of the baby in our party (I think her name was Leslie). I would love to go back here again, but be conscious of when you get there because leaving at 11 the place was packed with a wait to get in!

Love this location - close to Perimeter Mall. Great service and food. My favorite thing on the menu is the Crabcakes Cavallo. It is served on an English muffin topped with poached eggs and a an andouille hollandaise sauce. Be sure to start your meal with an order of Beignets, complete with honey marmalade dipping sauce!

Came here based of a recommendation of a friend. I am really more of a brunch person who does not eat eggs. Which is pretty much the whole menu. So that pretty much always narrows down my selection and I am use to it. I live hash browns or breakfast potatoes. Those make me a happy girl. They were mediocre at best after a lot of salt and pepper, just like my grits. Not my favorite. I like flying biscuit way better.

I'd've come here numerous times and every time it has been very good. The food is fresh and I add extra onions and Swiss cheese to my veggie omelette and it is Devine!

I had the traditional and the beignets. The beignets were flooded in sugar and sauce was not complimentary to them. They were very cold and very hard. Definitely would not recommend those. The breakfast was also very mediocre. All of my food was luke warm, eggs and potatoes. The English muffin tasted like it came from the freezer section of the grocery store. I'd recommend you visit J Christopher's for breakfast.

One of the best breakfast / brunch restaurants I have been to... The shrimp and grits with andouille sausage is the most !!!!

The Broken Egg is my FAVORITE new breakfast/brunch spot! They have only been opened a week or so and I have already taken several friends back here to share my experience. The staff always seems in a great mood even during early hours and it is the best breakfast I've had in years. The "Hey Lucy" is my favorite omelette (so far), but the Crab Cakes Cavallo and SWEET POTATOE PANCAKES are to die for!!! Everything has come out fresh and hot and the only time we had a poached egg a little overdone the manager insisted on fixing it immediately. Great customer service! Saturday we finally got to try the bell pepper infused Bloody Mary and both my wife and I were blown away. All I can say bad about this place is they aren't open for dinner:( But if you want to start your day off right or really want to be impressed for lunch, this is the spot!

Cozy atmosphere, good food, good service. Really nothing to complain about. The crabcake Benedict was very good with a generous amount of crabcake and just the right amount of dressing. The blackberry grits are very good too. I will definitely come back.

I have been to this location three times. The first time I went alone and sat in the bar area. My server, Jennifer, was very friendly, upbeat, and attentive. I ordered the granola/fruit/quinoa dish. I was impressed to see quinoa on a menu and interested to see how it would work as part of a granola dish. I have to say the quinoa didn't really go with the rest of the dish. The granola and fruit was delicious though and served with coconut milk. I had the regular coffee and it was excellent. The second time I took two of my kids with me. The server was great especially considering that I had kids with me which makes us automatically higher maintenance. We got the biscuit beignets, which were amazing. I thought the kids would like them but they wouldn't touch them so I may have eaten the entire order by myself... I ordered pancakes off the kid's menu, which was a stack of 3 extremely fluffy thick pancakes, and turkey sausauge which is made in-house. For myself I got the eggs benedict, which was good but the (also homemade I believe) english muffin was so big it dwarfed the eggs. I got a mocha latte and it was not sweet enough for me, and I generally don't like them overly sweet. The third time my server was okay - not unpleasant but not nearly as upbeat as the first two times. I was alone and brought my computer to work with as I had overheard that they had wi-fi the time before. It was mid-morning so I wasn't taking up a table that other customers would be using or anything. I asked for the mocha with extra chocolate sauce but it still was not sweet enough. This time I just got eggs, sausage and an english muffin. Overall, good food, mostly good service, could use a little improvement on the portion ratios and the coffee but I will return.

Great, friendly waitress. Unfortunately that is where it ended. Room temperature coffee (2 cups) and food. Eggs lacked flavor and seasoning. When third cup of coffee came it was hot but burned. We were looking forward to trying and the menu had lots of tempting options. Food very disappointing. Will not go back.

Went there twice in a row and enjoyed the food both days. Good service, amazing food and clean environment. Skinny omlet and quinoa were awesome.

Tried this restaurant/location twice (lunch on weekday & sunday lunch.) Both times service lacked attentiveness (e.g greet time, checking after received food.) They either need less tables or more training. First time i got the crab cake Benedict- tasty, good size, egg not cooked properly. This time i got waffle w/blueberries, two eggs turkey sausage-I left feeling unsatisfied-eggs fine, sausage good, waffle not as large as i hoped for price, blueberries not fresh, no whip cream. Didn't feel like a was getting a great value. Do love the beignets :)

This is a nice new restaurant. The food is delicious but waaay overpriced. $12 dollars for Eggs Benedict? $3 for a kid's apple juice? Way to expensive. The food came out just the way we ordered it, but it took a while to get out to us. I think that has to do with the restaurant being new and the wait staff and cooks still learning the ropes. Overall the staff is friendly, the place is very clean, and the food is good. It's a bit on the expensive side and I personally didn't like the menu options. I may go back but there are other options like Egg Harbor or West Egg that are, in my opinion, better in price and food selection. Also, I wish they provided complimentary coffee like Egg Harbor and even Waffle House, but they don't and you have to ask the people up front to get you a mug. Oh well.

Everything is a GO! Excellent Breakfast spot. Move over Flying biscuit, you should have made sure all your locations were cooking the same. This Broken Egg is as good as the one in Panama City Beach Florida #hannn

Had the Huevos Rancheros. I read crispy tortillas, but dark brown to black and hard as a rock wasn't expected. Tip to waitstaff: If customer asks if it is supposed to look like this, that may be an indication of a problem. Also, if they leave most of it uneaten, another clue. Overpriced and poor quality. Won't be back.

Surprisingly long wait for such a large place with average reviews. Our review is a notch higher--tasty! We arrived at 11:00 a.m. for Saturday breakfast, waited about 30 minutes. I had Crabcakes Cavallo (on their Eggs Benedict menu) and took the suggestion from other Yelpers of substituting cheese grits for country potatoes. The crabcakes were excellent. We got a free order of beignets with a coupon (yum!). And they get good marks on the coffee. Attentive and friendly service, and not too long of a wait for food once we got seated.

The good news is that the food and atmosphere are way better than you'll find at places like IHOP and Denny's. The restaurant is modern, clean, and comfortable. My pancakes were light and fluffy, my eggs were just right, and the bacon was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The bad news is that the prices are so far above those other places I named, you'll be hard pressed to feel like you got a good value even though you enjoyed the meal.

Trying out a new breakfast place. A mixed bag. The bakery products were very good - cinammon roll was light and fluffy and the bread with the shrimp and grits was simple but tasty. One entree we had was shrimp and grits - surprisingly authentic - real gravy. The other entree was a Blackstone Benedict dish - eggs were done correctly, however, Hollandaise was definitely not house made and from a cheap mix. In addition, the potatoes were not seasoned to any level. Don't plan to return. Egg Harbor Cafe is a better choice overall.

Great cafe - nice, open seating, friendly and prompt service, and delicious food! The veggie delight omelette was wonderful, and the roasted potatoes...just wow. Decent coffee. Easy parking. Would definitely visit again!

We have been going to ABE Cafe for quite a while now at the Buckhead location. We gave this Dunwoody location a try for the first time and it was not too bad. However, if you are looking forward to having beignets, the Buckhead location cooks then alot better! Hopefully the Dunwoody location will improve their beignet skills in the near future!

Interesting Menu. Tried the Cajun Potato Skillet. Plenty of potatoes; could improve the ratio to other ingredients, but tasty.

I know this is a new place and I should give them a break, but I've been back twice now and my opinion hasn't changed. The service is kinda choppy (and being a chain I would think it's easier to iron out the choppiness). The first time I came, they forgot my eggs and didn't bring it until I asked for it, and by then I had finished my entire breakfast. and I don't like it that they have english muffins intead of biscuits-we're in the south, biscuits are like a staple for breakfast here. I guess this is a New Orleans influence? The second time I came, I asked if I could substitute the english muffin for something like a pancake, and the waitress told me I could sub it w/ a johnny cake (or a mini-pancake). So I was like great! This time my dining partner had to get back to work after lunch, but much to our chagrin the food took forever. Finally we flagged down a runner and questioned if our food was coming. He then went into the kitchen and brought out our food (I wonder how long it had been sitting in there). My dining partner's burger was good according to him, but my breakfast/lunch was meh...and instead of coming over and apologizing for why the food took so long, our waitress came over and explained to me that the kitchen didn't like it that they had to replace my english muffin, that making a mini-pancake for me was too much work for them. Serious?!!! I can't say I didn't give them a fair chance. Given their shoddy service, not so great food, and pretty pricey menu, If in the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area, just make it over to the Flying Biscuit on Roswell Rd, you'll get much bang for your buck-and biscuits too!!

I had heard it was great, so imagine my surprise when it clearly wasn't! The server, although very nice, was invisible. We were there at 8:30 on a Saturday morning and the place wasn't crowded yet. It took a very long time to get coffee and we had to find the pot to pour our own refills. I ordered oatmeal, like I usually do for breakfast. It was in a TINY crock - the kind that onion soup comes in. And there was this berry glop on top of it. AND it was $5! It was half the size it should have been. The others at the table were equally unimpressed - hard French Toast, greasy omelette, terrible service. I will try it again, because I had heard it was good and maybe it was an off day, but if not, back to the usual spots. And, next time, I won't order the oatmeal.

We had dined at the Destin location before, and had a great experience. The staff there were efficient, fast, and friendly, despite the place being packed. So we were happy to hear that a location had opened near us on Ashford Dunwoody. But now? "Happiness gone." First strike, after being seated, we waited for 20 minutes before we even were noticed/seen by any waitperson. In that time, two tables were seated after us, and they both ordered before we even got our "how do you do." We actually had to go back to the main station to ASK for a waiter, second strike. So then, order placed finally, we wait, and another table had their order come and he was motioning to them that it was incorrect. They took it back, and brought it back, only to STILL not be correct. Hoo boy. So now, we're getting ready for OUR dining experience to begin, after these mis-steps. My coffee comes, and it comes with no spoon, and no waiter for another 7-8 minutes. Third strike Then the food came. It was passable at best, with each food having a varying temperature, and a muffin that was barely warmed, not toasted. Fourth strike. We now have our meal, but, ...no table service? Fifth strike. We then have to ASK for our silverware so we can eat. Then, we reach for... an EMPTY salt shaker. Six! So by now, this is really starting to show some poor, poor management here. NO attention to the basics, let alone DETAIL. After we finished, my girlfriend wanted to speak to the manager just to voice our concerns for this establishment, opened here in April. We were told that the manager was busy and could only see the assistant manager. He comes out, and as she starts to detail our concerns, but he interrupts her mid-sentence (???) to say that they were "not prepared" for this kind of crowd today. Interesting choice of words there..."not prepared." 7th strike. I would like to venture out now and say this is not a GOOD way to start ANY business. We said that the waitstaff apparently needed better training or something, and he said he agreed, but that it "hasn't been working!" O-M-G, 8, 9, and TEN? He then urged us to join their Reward Club or something! That's when my ears stopped working and we left. My last word? There's a place on Roswell Road called "Egg Harbor!" They're great, and we'll never stray again. They are always jammed, but handle it. The people are SUPER friendly and informative, and they STILL do a great job. Free coffee while you wait too. We came here today because of the Destin experience we had, and because it was on the way to our shopping. We won't be back here, guaranteed.
