Went last night late... Wasn't sure of the hours, but I asked a worker and he said they were doing last call "now." I raced to the bar area and inquired with a patron whether or not they were doing last call. He yelled to someone else who turned out to be a guy who works there but happened to be off for the night AND drunk. He yelled back "Yeah we're closed! Get out!" I was shocked! He said this without even looking at me. Once he turned around, he then proceeded to say that he wasn't working that night but he wasn't really talking to me... All a lie... He was talking to me and it really left a bad taste in my mouth. The guy working the bar didn't seem to mind to blatant disrespect to a frequent customer so I walked out... I don't think I'll be back if this dude is EVER there. Elizabeth & Joe (my fav bartenders) wouldn't have disrespected me like this!! I guess I'll have to only go when they are there...

I work until beer o'clock. - Stephen King Having now officially earned the "Dukedom" at Montana's, I figured I had better beef up the review, and add a star as well. This suburban dive bar has the distinction of being the closest watering hole to my place, so they get to see me a lot, maybe too much. The food here is good bar food, with an incredible 1/2 off appetizers after 5. Friendly staff, good prices, laid back environment. The bartenders are all really great. This is the perfect stop for a beer after five, and as the sign says at Montana's, it's al;ways after five somewhere! It is also a terrific place to hang out in the "greenhouse" and listen to live music on a nice night. Pretty big location, casual atmosphere, decorated in classic bar-rabilia and fake palm trees. Nice escape from the ordinary, not to mention the traffic on Highway 9!

I only know two things.... 1) They are open until 2 on a Sunday 2) They pour a strong vodka tonic I appreciate both things so much that it outweighs the smokiness of the bar. Of course, there weren't too many people there at midnight on a Sunday, so I am sure it get's pretty bad when they are busy. Actually, there was a good amount of people for a Sunday, probably about 15-20 people. I think that's a lot for Sunday. Service was great, she even gave us crackers and ranch (apparently it's her favorite thing) because the kitchen was closed. If you need a late place in the burbs I would go here!

The open mic night on Tuesday nights are awesome, its a great place to have a wonderful drink. The food I'm not sure about since I didnt eat, but from what I saw it looked pretty decent. The guys who go up and sing and play are pretty awesome sometimes, always have to give them credit for at least getting up and trying.

we didnt eat here.. just drank. their "greenhouse" was a bit smoky but the live music was good. they had a little fire pit in the middle so it was nice and warm. they also had ping pong, corn hole, and some kind of shuffle board type table game. the bartender was nice.. the crowd was a mixture of young and old.. maybe it gets crazier later at night? seemed alright for the burbs.
