I love Jason's Deli and it's not just because there are free ice cream cones. I love the healthy menu choices, fruit as a side item, whole wheat wraps, soups and salads. Not everything is healthy here but I certainly can find enough healthy things here to keep me full. They get crowded around lunchtime but the line moves pretty quickly and a table always seems to open up. The staff is nice. I'll continue to frequent this location.

I've been going to this Jason's for years, but I never think to suggest it myself. Its close proximity to the mall and its business model of being an order at the counter but sit-down for service sandwich shop make it pretty popular, particularly at noon. If you go a little earlier or later, you should be fine. My main complaint is that it always seems a little on the dirty side. I've always felt that I've had to wipe down the tables myself, even when I've been there before the lunch rush. And they cram a lot of chairs and tables in. They've got the fancy plastic high chairs that can be used to hold the infant car seat without flipping it over, but it can be hard to roll them through the narrow spaces between all the tables and chairs. The sandwiches, soups, and salads provide enough variety, but none of it had wowed me. I'd say it's a slight step up from the Subway across the street in terms of variety, but not necessarily in terms of the flavors and service. #Yelp365 - 340/365

My wife and I frequent both the Roswell and Sandy Springs locations of Jason's and have yet to ever be disappointed by either the quality of service or the food. My opinion of the highlights of this establishment: *Very fair prices for fresh, tasty food. *Generous and thoughtful staff and that keep the restaurant clean and ready. *A deep menu of both typical and fairly unique lunch fare. *The best quick-lunch soups you can find. * Despite almost always being busy at lunchtime, they manage to be both friendly and well prepared for the task. More casual-style restaurants would succeed at a high level if they paid attention to Jason's Deli.

Whenver I feel like have a nice sandwich, I would head out to this place. Their tomato basil soup is delicious
(4)Laura B.
Sandwiches are delicious...my boss treats us here once a week and it's delicious every time...I order veggie sandwich with cheese melted topped with spinach on toasted wheat bread...awe delicious and fulfilling.. Gotta try it!!! Great service..

Jason's is a great place to go anytime, especially after you just spent a crap ton of money at the mall and need to relax. Go in, look at the menu, order/pay, take a number, and let them bring the food to you. There is a self serve drink station as well. I always order the whole muffaletta with ham. Always filling and tasty. The drink station though- they had a sprite "green". Not sure if it ran out of syrup, but it tasted like seltzer water and I immediately changed drinks. I got the Blueberry Pomegranate Sports Drink with Cane sugar- that was actually one of the better fountain drinks I have had! Jason's is good if you want quality deli food at a sit down experience.

Turned off... I was very disappointed on my last visit here. The salad bar was false advertisement as I expected there to be chicken, turkey or ham to add to the salad and there was none. They forgot to give me my soup upon ordering and the ice cream machine was broken. Overall, the salad bar left much to the imagination and had me wishing I had ordered a sandwich instead. The service was courteous and friendly, but overall the ball was dropped on this experience.

Simply put, a cheap lunch in Alpharetta. Jason's Deli offers sandwiches, soups, salads--that sort of thing. You order and pay at the front, pick a table, and wait until the waiter or waitress delivers the food to your table. Despite its considerable size, this place gets pretty crowded at lunchtime. My friend and I struggled to find a table. I got the Big Papa sandwich, which was fantastic. They burnt it, so someone came to my table and offered me a free soup or salad. Although I declined, I appreciated the gesture. A solid lunch choice. This location's proximity to North Point Mall and 400 males it especially convenient. Apparently there are multiple Jason's Deli locations across the metro area, so I'll be sure to eat here again. I almost forgot; if you like black currants, try the currant soda.
(5)Darren H.
My office always orders from here but I had no idea where it was located until today. The parking lot is kind of dicey (crowed) & it looks like every one from scoccer mom to business man is here today. Usually most places are crowded around 12 for the lunch crowd & then die off about 1 but at 1:45 they were doing a pretty good business. I had the club with broccoli and Cheese soup. The sandwich was fresh and tasty, I've had better soups from Jason's but this one was ok. I'll have to come back here one day and dine it to see what's that's like.
(3)Gianna R.
First time at a Jason's and it was great... The service was very friendly the restaurant was very clean and the food came out really fast... I had the Club Lite with the Tomato Basil Soup.. The Sandwich was delicious as was the Soup and the fruit they served it with was very fresh.. I will def be back..
(5)Annie L.
Turkitini was delish. Smoked pieces of turkey on top of tomato, avocado, added lettuce and sprouts, and russian dressing. Pretty good stuff. It's across from Michaels (which is super convenient for me---I'm always pickin' up some painting supplies). 4 stars for good food and unlimited icecream! Fo fweeee!
(4)Jason W.
This place is great. The staff is always friendly and the food is always great. I would suggest getting there early or taking a late lunch to avoid the huge crowd between 12 and 1.
(4)Jennifer P.
I give it 5 stars because...THEY DELIVER!!!!!!!!!! Eating in, I'd probably give it a 4 since they are soooooooo slooooooow every time i've been in there. Regardless, The Beefeater is the closet thing to a really good au jus sammy anywhere around here.
(5)Ali F.
I can only give Jason's Deli 3 stars I like this place I'm just not sure why?? I'll continue to go here until I figure it out lol!
(3)Nikki K.
When I worked next door to this particular Jason's it was the only place that I could walk to in order to grab some lunch. And that actually wasn't a terrible fate. I can't say a whole lot for some of the other Jason's since I've only been to one, but this one was always good, and fresh. Unless you got the fruit cup, and that is why it's getting a star knocked off. There were many times that I got a cup of moldy strawberries and slimy pineapple chunks. Nasty!! But I went there so many times in 5 years that all I had to do was call the deli and say, "Hey! (whoever answered, I knew them all)" and they would say, "Hey Nikki! It will be ready in 5 minutes!" They always knew what I wanted (spinach veggie wrap, no cheese) and always got my order right. Next time you're shopping around Northpoint mall, give Jason's a try for a quick and tasty meal! Hey, they also offer free soft serve ice cream! Can't beat that!
(4)L.A. W.
I'm the pickiest eater on the planet, but I could eat here often, and not whinge. It's got a really good variety of foods in very large portions. Everytime I go, it's really really busy, though.
(3)Brent G.
Busy Lunch Crowd but efficient service. Good sweet tea and huge salad bar. The food itself was ok, but all my colleagues from Alpharetta seem to like this place a lot. I guess coming from California, I am used to excellent food, and this place is just ok in my opinion. It's got the techy/business lunch crowd, packed, lots of conversations going on, good place to meet someone and kick back for a quick lunch. All in All I say 3.5 stars, but rounded up to 4 versus down to 3 : )
(4)mike k.
Just had the salad bar. Everything was very fresh, good selection, great service!
(4)Matt T.
Good place at Northpoint for a sandwich, and its pretty fast too. I go here every so often in between students and grab a sandwich. Be warned, they hook it up on the meat. Piled high on the bread of your choice. I always get the chips and salsa, its extra but it tastes so good you cant go wrong with it. And free ice cream, thats just a natural choice
(4)Karyn G.
We go to Jason's probably at least once a month. As parents with young kids, we like that the food is organic and they have zero hydrogenated oils in the entire restaurant. I love the garden sandwich (sans cheese). It is family friendly. As a vegan family, my only frustration is the free ice-cream!! Can you get a non-dairy ice-cream in the mix?? :) So much better for our bodies and our planet!!
(4)Tavare S.
This place is amaizing! I eat there all the time with my family... probably twice a month. Jason's has very good healthy choices even one their kids menu. Their salad bar is great and always fresh.
(5)Mel G.
This place is right around the corner from my office and for some reason I really don't go that often. I always knew that I never really craved Jason's but the food, when I've gone, is actually good. I couldn't put my finger on my problem until today and now that I've isolated it, I'm in for good. My problem is that whenever I go in there to eat lunch, the service is SOOOOO slow! Like these people could not keep worms in a tin they're so slow! Sure, they're busy but does it REALLY take that long to take a simple order? Some of these people have an IQ of 2 and it takes 3 to grunt. Just not all there, apparently. I went online today because for some strange and healthy reason I was craving a salad to rid myself of the impurities consumed at last night's Braves game. Much to my delight, I found that I could submit my order online and go pick it up and, in theory, it would be waiting on me! PROBLEM SOLVED! Food was fresh and, most importantly, waiting on me when I arrived! I couldn't believe it! Oh, and all of our "special requests" (e.g. no red onions) were perfect! It certainly won't replace our traditional Mexican Friday at El Azteca (see previous review) but at least it is another option for lunch and they're not Deli Nazis like Fancy Pantry across the street (read my review on that place as well). Order online! Kicking and screaming, I guess I'll join the rest of the 21st Century at some point before I die!
(4)Lynette S.
Ordered the Nutty Mixed-Up Salad...amazing!! Nothing bad about it. Unique, wonderful combination of fruits, nuts, chicken. I am definitely coming back here!
(5)Brad B.
The all-you-can-eat salad bar is far better than the Sweet Tomatoes right up the road. Even though the selection is smaller, the quality is better. I've had other sandwich selections from other Jason's Deli locations and been fairly happy with them. However, to be clear, Jason's Deli is most certainly not of the same quality as McAlister's Deli.
(3)Jesse B.
We love coming here with the kids on a 'lazy' night when we don't feel like cooking. We can get in and out quickly so we still have time to do stuff in the evening; the food is healthy so we don't feel like we have to choose between cooking and eating healthy; and the prices are awesome ( under $30 for a family of four ). The kids love the free ice cream!
(5)Anjanetta W.
The wraps are great! I love the new Yorker sandwich and the good ice cream. Lunch time can be hectic, but if you get there by 11:00am you should be all set. I will definitely eat here again!
(4)Stephen S.
Fresher and cheaper than Panera. Free ice cream and unlimited refills on fountain drinks. Salad bar looked clean and everything on it looked tasty, but I was amply full after my generously-topped sandwich, so I'm glad I didn't get the salad. I had the Chicago Club on focaccia bread and it was quite tasty. My wife got a Deli Club and she said it was very, very good--one of the best deli sandwiches she has ever eaten, and it was big enough for two meals. Our daughter had a complete turkey sandwich meal for $3.79 (a full-sized adult sandwich including chips and a juice box). She said it was AWESOME. :) The entire meal was at least $10 cheaper than Panera, plus it tasted better. The only problems are parking and seating. This place is nearly standing-room-only, even on a Sunday afternoon. You practically have to race to catch a table before other people! It's probably best to get it to-go and find a nearby park or the North Point food court.
(5)J H.
I have been going to this location for over 10 years. Over the last several months the quality of food and service has been declining steadily. There seems to be a completely different staff there every time we go, and our orders are now frequently wrong. This past Sunday we went for lunch at 10:45 am, we were the only people there, and the restaurant was absolutely filthy. ALL of the tables were sticky with spilled food and drink, and there were crumbs all over ALL of the chairs and floor. We finally ended up cleaning up an area ourselves to sit at, but clearly nothing had been cleaned overnight. The carrots they served to my son were so old and dried out they were completely white on the outside, and I found a bug in the lettuce bin at the salad bar. I have always liked Jason's Deli, so I guess I will try one of the other locations in the area. I will never be back to this one.
(1)Luckie D.
Awesome salad bar, but OMG can the possibly make the seating any more cramped? Add to this all the mommies and those damn strollers its like trying to put on a scuba suit in a phone booth.
(3)David R.
My favorite sandwich is the Wild Salmon-wich! I was not sure what to order until I saw the advertisement for it! It was great! I was told it was for a limited time, I need to request that it is part of the regular menu! In addition, I like the Pollo Mexicano Potato and other sandwiches!
(4)Alyssa M.
I love this place. The salad bar is huge, diverse (bean and pasta salads, hummus, muffins, whole hardboiled eggs, garlic chips, etc.) and every bit worth the price (around $7.50 I think). I adore their tomato basil soup. Their sandwiches are big and filled to the brim with meats and toppings. Order a "plain jane" baked potato and you'll be hooked up with a huge potato loaded with bacon, butter, sour cream, cheese, the works. Cheap prices for a lot of good, fresh food. It's a big store but you will be hard-pressed to find a table at lunchtime, or even after lunchtime. Don't come with a big group--you'll regret it.
(5)Flip P.
unusually drop in service level. shorted on one item ordered (wasn't rung up) and charged fountain price for water... not the norm. just one of those days i guess.
(4)Valerie S.
The chicken salad here will make you slap your mama. Well, not mine but it's amazing. The location is normally packed around lunch and some of the people cleaning the table could be a bit more nicer/ friendlier but overall it a a decent spot to grab a bite.
(4)Mick D.
I met a friend here before heading to the movies. Jason's provided a quick way to grab a bite before the movie started. He had a sandwich. When I asked him how it was, he shrugged. I suspect this had more to do with his mood than the sandwich. He didn't even want any ice cream when he was finished. I had the salad bar. It was good, salad fare. The ingredients were fresh. I need to get back on a salad kick. Good stuff. I did not have any ice cream, either.
(3)Jamie H.
Love this place. Everyone is so friendly and hard working. The food is absoululy amazing. Everything is fresh and the have a salad bar which i love.
(5)Colleen M.
The salad bar is by far the best in town and always has plenty of very fresh vegetables. I love the little brown rolls too. The sandwiches are so so and really pretty bland but the cheddar broccoli soup is good. I think most items that come from the kitchen need some serious seasoning. Salt and pepper would be a food start. The seating sucks. Small wobbly tables crammed so close you literally bump elbows with the table next to you. I would suggest getting the salad bar to go and avoid all the chaos that is lunchtime there.
(3)Duane F.
Well...Wifey and I have "re-found" Jason's Deli. When we lived in Huntersville, NC, we frequented Jason's...but, in moving to South Charlotte and then New Hampshire, there were none. But...on our healthier kick, we have enjoyed finding it again! I have to say...the salad bar is very good...with a great selection of veggies...and other stuff. The Craisin, Raisin, Nut stuff they have really perks up a salad. The Red Pepper Hummus is excellent as well! You can make a tasty and nutrituous salad! Also...their "kiosk" that allows you to go directly to the Salad Bar (bypassing the huge lines...so..."go directly to go and collect $200!")...is a great thing! The one hang up I have...MAN, are they crowded at lunch!
(4)Jay M.
Been coming here for about 10 years and the food is always consistent and good. I do wish the salad bar had a bit better variety...especially at $8. But I can get want I basically want. Never had an issue in getting a chair, even during busy periods...they keep up with the rotation and cleaning of departing guests. For a quick sandwich & salad...Jason's is very dependable.
(4)Belinda D.
Unimpressed. Horrible service... Maybe something in the food because everyone is rude, customers, cashier, bus boy who stared at me trying to clean up a spilled drink with a napkin and when I asked for help he pointed me across the room to a napkin despenser. Forgot part of our order, what came out was burnt awful pizza the kids wouldn't eat and the worst potato with overly microwaved chicken and congealed sour cream. Yum. Not. Won't be back. Ever.
