First, this review won't be about the food. This will be about service. I visited this establishment for the first time today and decided to get the sweet potato pecan waffle and sausage patties. My order was to-go, after I placed my order I was told it will take 10 minutes. I sat to the side as other patrons come in and out. I noticed a few other people place to-go orders and patiently wait. After about 15 minutes, I saw the other people leave with their orders and yet my name hasn't been called. I was the before them and I didn't order alot. When I looked at the counter there was a plate which I assumed was there was there for a call-in order. The plate was opened and laying there and yet NO ONE called my name. Now the other customers names were called and orders given in a timely manner. After sitting there for 20 minutes total, I went to the counter and asked about my order, the waiter goes to the back looking for the order then comes back and gets the plate that has been sitting there for 10 minutes getting cold! To add to that she was unsure if I paid or not!! I don't want to say this is a race issue but being ignored as a human being is totally disrespectful. I will not patronize this establishment again. SN: MY WAFFLE DIDN'T HAVE ANY PECANS!!!!

This is definitely the best omelet I've ever had! The portion was perfect, the sides were perfect and the meal was delicious! I was impressed. I ordered the Stir fry Veggie omelet. I love Stir fry veggies to begin with so when you put them in an omelet, it was perfection. It came with homes fries and toast of your choice. The home fries were beautifully seasoned and extremely tasty. Even the raisin toast was buttered and delicious. Our server, Ciara, was very attentive and refilled our beverages regularly. I can't wait to come back here for breakfast again soon!

It is very hard for me to give a place 5 stars. This place deserves it. It is fairly new (less then a year old?). Everything we had was fantastic. I had a great omelette. Cooked perfectly and tasted awesome! It came with home fries and toast of course. Southern Style Sausage, onions, peppers and cheddar cheese. YUM! The service was great. Ciara was very quick and always checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place!

We promptly greeted at the door and seated immediately. The smell of coffee drifting through the air and the tempting aroma of bacon coming from the kitchen immediately started my mouth watering and my tummy growling. I think it is interesting that the menu prices don't end in the typical .99. The sweet potato pecan pancakes are a star on this menu. I would definitely return to sample more of their offerings. Our server, Linda, was pleasant, courteous and had a great sense of humor.

Fantastic food and people. Great neighborhood atmosphere. A restaurant that can properly cook eggs without being runny and bacon without burning it. Definitely will be back again soon.

Standard breakfast. Prices are reasonable. Limited menu. Good deal for kids under 10. Would have liked fresh squeezed juices.

"All happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast." John Gunther Have you ever just wanted to find a great breakfast spot? This is it. I've had the chance to come here a few times and I am definitely a fan. All the classics and traditional breakfast plates are here, with some house specialties such as their Sweet Potato Pecan Pancakes and Bananas Foster French Toast to brighten up the most important meal of the day. Their Tomato Florentine is an excellent Eggs Benedict dish. Their home fries are terrific. The coffee is a couple notches above average diner coffee, and they keep it full. I'll be back!

So far so good. Choices are plentiful. Patty-o-sullivan grilled corn beef hash with swiss cheese to sweet potato pecan pancakes. I had an egg biscuit with a side of gravy and turkey sausage that was fantastic. This is a great alternative "bigger" chain breakfast spots, i.e. J. Christophers, Egg Harbour. They are a family restaurant so bring the kids. I saw a review regarding the reviewers "race" and I have to say you have better things to do than pull that card. I saw many ethnicities come and go and was not put off at all. All appeared to be happy and enjoying their food. *sigh I won't write ANY review that may not have been perfect after coming just once. If hiccups happen address the issue and move forward. First time is about the food , presentation , service, etc... A+ on service A+ on food (prep., taste, choices) A+ presentation. Simple, delicious and worth it. 2 suggestions. Sugar in the raw and REAL cream on the table for coffee.

I had never been there and asked the waitress what she recommended. She suggested the blueberry granola flax pancakes... I went with them and they were amazing! My almost-one year old enjoyed them as well. Good service, friendly staff, great food. Perfect weekend breakfast :)

I'm impressed, full, and didn't break the bank. This place is hands down the best breakfast I've had in Atlanta. I feel like I have been searching my whole life for a delicious breakfast place and I have finally found it Hallelujah!!! The coffee was spot on. My eggs benedict was perfectly cooked and every bite was greatly enjoyed. The potatoes....just wow. Great flavor, not too greasy, no evidence they were ever on my plate! But I have to admit the best part of the meal was the sweet potato pecan pancake. I've never been a fan of pancakes but what I do love is sweet potatoes and pecans so I had to give it a try, and I'm sure glad I did. I have never in my life had a pancake like that. Sooooo good Do yourself a favor and try this place out it's well worth it!!

New casual breakfast and lunch restaurant in an area of Roswell that desperately needed such a place - good call by the owners Mike and Judy. They have done a great job refurbing the space and hiring a great staff - very friendly. I was there for lunch and had the tomato bisque and a grilled chicken spinach salad. Very tasty. Next time I will go for breakfast to sample the breakfast fare. They have a "gluten friendly" pancake which I am eager to try as this is a rare sighting in the Roswell area. People around me were having eggs and bacon and enjoying it.

Fly fell on my food at the table, no visit from management, waitress didn't offer to bring me a new order. Guess I need to find a new breakfast location

[TL;DR] Good food, good prices, and diverse selection. This is where you go if you like places where the owner comes out to make sure your food was good. This place has some of the best home fries I've ever had. I was sorry I didn't order it. However, since I had the corned beef hash, it seemed silly to have more potatoes with it. The hash was excellent. Definitely something I'd have again. I had it with a side of eggs and grits. There was really nothing extraordinary about the eggs or the grits, though. Just your standard breakfast fare. The sausage gravy has generous chunks of sausage in it. Very good. They have a diverse, complex menu. It's categorized pretty well though so if you have a general idea of what you want, you can narrow your selection from that. For example, are you in the mood for a traditional breakfast? A breakfast sandwich maybe? An omelette? How about a burger? The service is relaxed and friendly, though, so be sure to ask your server if you need some reassurance on your order. HOW TO READ MY REVIEWS: 1 Star - Does not approach edible. Enter at your own risk. 2 Stars - If I'm in the area, I'd pick something else. 3 Stars - I would stop by if I happen to be in the area. 4 Stars - I would pick this place out of other places. 5 Stars - I would go out of my way to dine here.

I THINK THEY'RE ON TO US As I was on my way to Canton, my friend and I decided to stop in for breakfast. As the waitress began to engage us, I felt a sort of awkwardness because I think that she suspected we were Yelpers and wanted to make a great impression. It was just too much for me as I would much rather have an "authentic" experience than one that is not. She was very present at the front end but not so much toward the back end of our meal. I just ended up leaving the money on the table, (discretely of course). Regarding our meal, my friend and I both ordered the classic breakfast, I requested breakfast potatoes and sausage while she ordered the grits with cheese and bacon. I don't usually order meat or toast but since it came with the meal, I was fine. The eggs were fine, the sausage was a very generous serving and while not inherently greasy, it appeared to have been fried in oil. Hmmm? The bacon and breakfast potatoes were very well prepared and delicious. The toast was a miss, as I said I don't usually order toast when dining out because I like a hearty whole grain wheat bread that is well toasted to crispiness. This was that "color it brown and tell them its wheat" bread that would just get toasted on the edges. It reminded me of what you get when you try to toast bread in a skillet, just warm, limp bread. I need a solid vessel to support my eggs and sausage. Although the waitress tried to assist with a different order of toast, the outcome was the same. Also, when eating toast, I prefer to have real butter and a rich jam, no marjarine, jelly or commercial apple butter. Although my friend loved her grits, I thought that they looked more like a soup as she sort of slurped them with a spoon. I prefer thicker grits that I can eat with a fork. Yes, I expect my grits to have grit. Yes, I would return to this restaurant in another year or so, (once the excitement of seeing a possible Yelper has died down), and I would probably try an omelet with a side of potatoes only. NO TOAST!

Was not overly impressed by Eggs Up Grill either times I have stopped by The menu has plenty to choose from for both breakfast and lunch; however, the meals I had were both just mediocre. The eggs, hash, and home fries were okay. Not something I would order again. Disappointing for such a standard breakfast meal. The chicken sandwich was chewy and the bun was soggy. Gross- ate about half before deciding I'd have a snack back at the office as an alternative to lunch. The service was also a bit frustrating. Very slow and our poor waitress seemed completely overwhelmed, even though the restaurant was not terribly busy at all. I was so excited for a breakfast restaurant to open up in Crabapple...I will probably give this restaurant one more chance...Perhaps now that they have been open for a little bit of time, they will have things running more smoothly.

I don't get all the great reviews on this place. It is a basic cafe with poor food. We ordered the classic breakfast. Eggs were rubbery with no taste, grits were greasy and lumpy, toast was burnt (who burns toast??), pancake tasted rancid and had zero flavor. Do not recommend!

One hour and seven minutes from putting our name in until brunch was served. Twenty minutes of that was the wait for seating, during their Sunday prime time. And to be fair, some of that time was spent studying the menu and placing our order. Thankfully we weren't too hungry or the extra long wait would have been painful. Our waitress explained the delays were due to a kitchen too small for the number of diners. But that did not explain the trouble getting drink refills. I ordered the Patty-O-Sullivan omelet with the home fries and wheat toast selection. The home fries could have been crispier and a couple of the potato cubes were a bit too large. I liked that the two slices of toast were pre- buttered so it had a chance to melt. I topped it off with strawberry jelly (versus preserves/jam typically found). I also had the Biscuit-which that came with a tiny side of gravy for dipping in a 4oz. sherbert dish. The grilled biscuit was good, with the cheese nicely melted over the sausage patty. The gravy was chock full of link sausage and was enough for dipping. My wife had the apple-infused French toast, a cup of fruit, and a side of turkey bacon. She enjoyed all of them, but would have liked the turkey bacon to have been crisp. Overall, I would return (if not in a hurry) since the food was good and the prices weren't too high. The decor is modern with a diner atmosphere: comfortable but not cozy.

Smothered hash brown platter was great!! Corned beef hash Benedict yummy! Great kids menu for different choices! Great service! Definitely check this place out!

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! I had the humpty dumpty omelette, substituted spinach for the mushrooms and also had french toast instead of just toast. It was great!

A very welcome addition to Crabapple! We came on a Sunday morning around 9:30 and ran into a 30 minute wait, but it was worth it. Waffle House prices, but much, much better food. (Home fries are awesome!!). The menu is extensive and has breakfast and lunch items available at all hours. Staff was friendly and service is prompt. This will become our default breakfast destination.

We eat here about once a month, both the breakfast and lunch menu. We have traditional egg breakfast, eggs Benedict, and other breakfast items. Lunch we have had wraps and sandwiches. You are going to get a consistent good quality meal at a fair price. Servers have always been attentive and friendly. Good family run business

Just tried this place for the first time. The wait staff were very friendly. I ordered the Greek omelet. Our food came out very quick. When I cut off the first bite I could tell the eggs were undercooked. I asked our waitress if she could have them cook it a little longer. She was very apologetic and I let her know it wasn't a big deal at all. After being cooked a little longer it was delicious. The grits were just eh and a little watery. I also had a couple of bites of my husband's biscuit and gravy. It was also good. Overall a good "home cooking" breakfast spot.

Great food and easy on wallet! The service is always friendly and fast and the food always tastes fresh and delicious. I love their value classic breakfast combo...$5+ change and you leave stuffed! To the management, I find the decor to be very boring and undecided identity wise so it would be nice, ambiance wise, if you either took it more of a diner route or a cafe route.

Perfect little breakfast diner. Friendly open space to get a good clean breakfast or lunch for approx 10$ each. The home fries are really good. The veggie wrap was filling fresh and clean. Portions are good sized.... lastly good coffee taste like dunkin but not dunkin. For a breakfast/lunch diner in a supermarket parking lot. 4 stars I would have loved to see bloody Mary's and mimosas... then it would be 5 star no doubt.

Tried this place after church last Sunday. Since the food was OK, we might try it again, but we had to wait an hour for the scrambled eggs and grilled cheese, and while waiting, had to go get our own refills. One of the kids was so hungry, that they didn't even care the grilled cheese only had cheese on a quarter of the toasted bread. They were woefully understaffed, but if we do go back, and have anywhere near the same experience, I might have to edit this review with a downgrade from the current three stars.

We were looking for a nice spot for brunch and this is it! Located in the Public shopping center the restaurant is cozy and bright. The service was really good and we were waited on by the owner Judy. It was a Sunday so the whole family was working. The food is really good and so was the coffee. I had the scramble with home fries and the hubs had the French toast, potatoes and bacon. I will definitely try the sweet potato pecan pancakes when we return and we will for sure go back.

This a terrific neighborhood breakfast spot. The food never disappoints and the wait staff is always charming, attentive, and efficient. I tend to eat breakfast on the lowfat side, so I regularly get their oatmeal with fruits and nuts, which is always excellent. Their egg substitute is the best I've ever tasted, so close to real eggs it's hard to tell the difference. I've tried bites of their pancakes and several of the skillets, and all have been of excellent quality and very tasty. It gets pretty packed on weekends, and especially for Church rush on Sunday, but that's the mark of a great breakfast place. Highly recommended for locals in the Milton/Roswell area.

Holy cow, what a nice surprise. We wanted to try a new Breakfast place on a lark. Found this place through Yelp and we were not disappointed! Had only been open a few months and we were able to snag the very last table in the place for breakfast. Moments after we sat down there was a line 20 deep in the lobby waiting for a table.... and rightfully so.... the food was delicious and cheap! If you are looking for a weekend breakfast place, go early or be prepared to wait a bit! Two thumbs up :)

  • Kelly C.

So not impressive. Eggs were mostly white. Little yolks. My husband's sausage was cold, as was my bacon. The toast was was brushed with something but not butter. 20.00 breakfast. Never again. Coffee was fair but when I asked for water & a second cup you'd think i'd asked for a miracle. As I said, never again.

Fast, Friendly Service and Good Food. Visiting the Alpharetta area and were looking for a good breakfast place or two, came across this one based on online reviews. Went on a rainy Tuesday morning and there was no wait at all, but I can see how this place could have a line, very similar to a popular restaurant back home (in CT). The menu is extensive without being too long, good selection of breakfast staples with the southern faves. Would have loved to have tried more but the food we ordered came out very quickly, was well prepared and everything else we saw being served at other tables looked equally good. We had waffles, eggs, homefries, corned beef hash and biscuits and gravy. No big secrets in any of it and very tasteful (and tasty) in its' simplicity. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if that were possible, not quite five stars but definitely a place I would visit again if I was in the area.

I really enjoyed this place. Open early, tucked into a cute shopping plaza, HUGE menu, and friendly staff. Clean, orderly, and pleasant. I enjoyed my traditional scramble very much, and my husband was a huge fan of the pecan pancakes that he got with his breakfast order. Fresh, tasty food. We will definitely be back.

Been here twice for breakfast. Nice, friendly staff. The eggs Benedict over hash with home fries was to die for. Not into the design of the place. Could have gone with better colors then reds and yellows. They have a bar/counter area thats got potential to be pretty neat, but not into the religious posters. So don't come for the atmosphere, but the breakfast speaks for itself.

Great location and the food is consistently great. Have had breakfast and lunch and highly recommend both. The classic is hard to beat and priced right. Awesomely good bacon with a nice smokey flavor. My wife loves the oatmeal. Have sampled the menu pretty well and no real disappointments, everything was good and tasty. Get your second breakfast on at lunchtime. The staff is great too, always friendly and nice.

I placed a to go order at the counter- took 10 minutes to be greeted or acknowledged, I ordered the corned beef hash and Eggs- it had MELTED PLASTIC throughout the meal - literally made me throw up, Potatoes had good flavor , toast was very under toasted- I called the restaurant 8 times , NO ANSWER !!! says to leave a message- I did ,and no call back - I usually will give a restaurant 2 visits , but I think i ill have to pass .

We are so excited Eggs Up has open just around the corner from us. We've been a few times so far. We've had mixed results with the food, but the service is so great and we want to love to place so we'll keep trying it. So far, the breakfast food has been good, although the pancakes were a little dry. Maybe over cooked? The turkey bacon ranch sandwich was mediocre. They bread roll didn't taste fresh. But the worst was the hamburger. The look and texture of the beef patty was odd. I'm assuming they are pre-made and frozen. I wouldn't order it again.

At long last, a proper breakfast place in Crabapple! I eat at Eggs Up every Friday morning, and I am continually impressed with the good food and friendly, attentive wait staff. Good, diverse menu that is very reasonably priced. Try the Muffin-wich!

I came in by myself to eat breakfast and found a server (Maricella) who was my favorite from another popular breakfast spot and she served with the same quality and compassion that attracted me at the start. The choice for me that day was an "All Good Things" omelette. I never had one before but this one was excellent. It came with a side of fruit so I didn't have to be tempted to eat pancakes or buttery toast. Two thumbs up for Eggs Up Grill!

  • Charles F.

Ok. Better than Waffle House but not as good as a top end breakfast place but priced as if they are! Orange juice for example is not fresh squeezed, food prep and quality still needs some Chef experience and quality, cheap paper napkins, ect.. Not worth the 20+ minute wait on Sunday's but glad to have something better than Waffelhouse.

Great neighborhood breakfast. Came on a Friday morning and it was quite busy. The restaurant is clean, waitress was very friendly. I ordered the Greek omelet and it was great with plenty of veggies. Good came fast and prices are reasonable. I would go again.

Love the menu selection & service was good. We had the western Omelette & blueberry pancakes w/eggs. My omelette was filled with the traditional ham, onions, pepper but had little flavor. I added pepper & hot sauce to it. A bit of salt would be nice for the size of the omelette. My son liked his pancakes. One recommendation is to have people standing @ the hostess stand & other servers ask if counter diners need anything. Our server got busy & no one seemed approachable or willing to make an extra effort to help their team. I hope this improves in the future.

Second visit. Still great. Home fries are great. First visit I had a very good omelet and this visit I had sausage and egg on a biscuit with home fries. We also had the blueberry pancakes at our table that were light and fluffy. I am looking forward to having lunch next time. Service was quick and professional. Crabapple needed a breakfast restaurant and we are so glad they are here!

First of all, let's be honest... as of this review they have only been open for 3 days. So, I added one star because things will probably improve. With that in mind, WOW!!!!... The Home Fries were the best I've ever tasted (do they use some type of sweet-infused oil?), and the Cheeseburger was amazing! It was so juicy, but yet still cooked through. The bun was extremely good as well. My wife had the Ham & Egg sandwich which was delicious. The ONLY thing that could have been improved upon was the Sausage Gravy & Biscuits... the biscuits were wonderful, but the sausage gravy was a tad too runny (especially for us Northerners who compare it against Bob Evans). That being said, the flavor was very good. Definitely a keeper, and we can't wait to be regulars!!! (I appreciated the "Our God is an Awesome God" sign behind the counter... nice to see someone proud of their beliefs.)

  • Steve P.

I honestly say I cannot return to this restaurant by choice. I ordered the eggs Benedict, the eggs were really towards on the raw side, The grits or flavorless I could not put enough cheese in it to give it any flavor. Coffee was low quality, but the service was good. Now I ate eggs Benedicton a frequent basis, this without doubt was flavorless, muffin not toasted, very smallpiece of ham, and the sauce was bland. I see no reason to come back here

If your looking for a good hometown breakfast place to go to, this is the place. There's really nothing they don't make. Their home fries are great!. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the people working there are very friendly. So glad they filled a niche that needed to be filled in Roswell.
