We had been on the road since Orlando and were getting pretty hungry. So we stopped in. We were curious about what the buffet had. We decided to go with the buffet and a steak. The steak was decent. The buffet had a great selection and was fresh. They had great Baked and Fried Chicken. The mashed potatoes were fresh. All in all we had a great experience.

Simple yummy eats for a good price. Fried chicken and stuffing are the best. Mac and cheese only ok. Good service.

I am not fond of buffets so my husband & I ordered off the menu...2 10 oz sirloins which ended up being chock full of grisle & fat. I ate 2 bites of my steak & couldn't eat the rest. Needless to say, my husband & I have put this on the "no eat" zone.

Not many selections. Food are very salty . more country style. Yellow squash , collard greens , cream corn , fried chicken. ... Not going again. Just passing through.

This is our go to restaurant in this area for lunch. Great fried chicken, and other meats, good veggies, decent salad bar and the staff is friendly and attentive. Most of the patrons are quiet, so it is usually a nice quiet place to have lunch. Some of the stuff is probably canned, but some of it is made fresh also, like the greens and the rutabagas and the chicken & dumplings. This is soul food, so if you like southern soul or country food, that's what it is.

If I could figure out how to give this restaurant less than one star, I would in a heartbeat. Seriously, I just joined yelp so that I could warn everyone about this place. I haven't been to a Western Sizzlin' since I was a little kid. I have the fondest memories of the place and when I saw this one, I just HAD to stop. Now, I keep apologizing to my boyfriend because he had to taste that food. By the way, I meant taste, that's all we did before we got up and left. The food was salty, there was no white meat chicken, the lettuce on the salad bar was brown, and the dessert bar even looked gross. How do you make dessert look gross?!? The only thing I liked was the tomatoes on the salad bar. Obviously, I cannot make a dinner out of just tomatoes though. Overall, very scarce choices and the choices that you do have are terrible. Side note and maybe too much info, my boyfriend and I literally had to stop at a gas station less than 2 miles down the road to use the bathroom. We barely ate anything and still had to excrete it out of our systems almost immediately.

We were on the road for a good part of the day and got hungry in the middle of nowhere... we were a bit nervous about the place given the reviews we had read...but - I am happy to report that our experience was actually very positive... The food was fresh and the buffet nicely stocked...not sure if it was because of the time of the evening we showed up - but everything was tasty - great soup, crispy fried chicken, fresh salad products, and really tasty sweet tea! Maybe we were just lucky - but our son was actually asking for other Western Sizzlin stops throughout the drive...

I want to vomit!!!! Absolutely horrible food and terrible service. Old grease, poor poor quality meat for steaks, very dirty. Avoid or enter at your own peril. I wasted $43 for 2 for lunch.

Crap doesn't describe the food. End of story. Okay, that was a bit harsh. If I wanted to punish POWs, I'd take them to the Western Sizzlin' in Adel, GA. I guarantee you they'd talk.

I actually didnt bother to eat here after checking Yelp before i walked in. Decided to go to Wendys across the street instead. Figured it would be safer!

It doesn't get much more craptacular than this. If I could give it less than one star, I would. Not that I go into a place like this expecting dazzling, awe inspiring greatness- but edible food would be nice. From the salad bar with watery, brown lettuce and warm, crusted-over mayonnaise based salads....to the hot bar with watery creamed corn and runny mashed potatoes....to the dessert bar with some sort of bizarre tan-colored ice cream in both the "chocolate" and "vanilla" side....this was a dining nightmare. The service was awful and almost rude, drinks were not refilled, and we left highly unsatisfied. Truck stops have better buffet quality- hell, the food's better at a truck stop even if it's been sitting out on the buffet for 5 hours. Only the fried chicken was reasonably edible. The rest- garbage. Avoid this place at all costs. And if you're a trucker or traveler, avoid the Citgo across the street too. The folks who run it are rude, and the showers/bathrooms are apallingly filthy.

I'm a little upset I didn't check the reviews before stopping here. Waist of time and money. Food was horrible, had to wait several minutes for chicken, and they served us drinks with no ice like it was normal???? The hole in the wall town looks like it's on it's last leg, my guess is this sad excuse for a restaurant is too!
