We came for sushi with our family of four. We took a seat at the sushi bar. There are also tables in sushi bar area in addition to the seats around the hibachi grills. We ordered super volcano roll, spider roll, dragon roll, rainbow roll and several pieces of tuna. All of it was very fresh, extremely tasty, and well-presented. However, we went on a Saturday night and with their small staff that only included one sushi chef, service was very slow. We had to seek out our waitstaff for drink refills & additional beers. The sushi chef did his best to keep food in front of us while he prepared sushi for others including hibachi customers and takeout orders. We have been here many times before and will return.

Visited here for the first time while on vacation. Food was decent, but was shocked to find out that the waitresses and chefs to not get the tips you leave. All of the tips are given to the owners. We gave the chef and the waitress cash money in their hands for their well deserved tips.

The sushi at this place is outstanding. It is always fresh and very generous. When we eat out this is our number one spot to go. They have recently updated the location and it is very nice. They've also added new items to their sushi menu. We have had the hibachi a couple times and I was very impressed at how large the scallops were.

Service was terrible! How hard is it to get two sushi rolls right? Definitely need to update the waiting staff. Sushi was okay, nothing extraordinary and the steak didn't have an asian flare to it at all. Time for Acworth to get some new Japanese places!

If you enjoy and appreciate good sushi don't come here. The nigiri was the worst I've ever seen. Service was a joke. On the bright side the filet mignon hibachi was pretty good. I don't normally leave negative reviews but I had to because I'm still in awe.

Enjoyed the teriyaki chicken $995 dinner special. Good ginger salad...soup ok. $2 extra for fried rice. Quick service and good Value for a weekend night.

Update, they are still rude and have horrible service, no one smiles and the place is dark and nasty (thick black gunk on tables and on wall in back kitchen through the curtain). Can't do habachii solo either still. Place is dead to me.

Well let's start with service... Being in a industry that thrives in customer support you should never just leave while taking their order to sit a table of 4. Then get their drinks and then come ask if I'm ready to order again. I deal with customers everyday, if I even treated them this way I would not continue to have their business. So as I sit here hoping the food is much better than the sour service I hold my breath abated. I will not be back and had high hopes for you. Ok rice was ok not moist but dry. The sushi was great. Very fresh and very well made. But when my rice came the waitress asked if i wanted my check now or later. Wow I haven't even ate yet. So maybe one more chance and the star stays til next time. The wait staff has got to change.

I went here for date night with my girlfriend. It was awful. The restaurant is now kept cool by a few oscillating fans and the decor has changed to some "crown" theme?? We ordered shrimp tempura appetizer and two hibachi dinners: hers was salmon/shrimp and mine was chicken/shrimp. My girlfriend said her food was very salty and completely inedible. We left most of it on the plate. Mine tasted bland so I added some yum yum sauce. The food made me extremely sick about 30 minutes after I left the restaurant. I question how fresh the food was but I'm not sure which part made me sick. I have been dining at this location every once in a while for the past couple of years but I will not be returning. Apparently the management changed about six months ago and you can really tell. The restaurant was mostly empty on the weekend except for two families who had a bunch of kids running around the dining area. I remember this place used to be packed on the weekends but I am sure it won't stay open under this management another year.

Environment was average. A bit worn and unkept. Miso soup was not good. Salad was fair. Got hibachi filet mignon w shrimp - filet mignon was very good. Nice cut of meat, shrimp was good. Scallops were over cooked, rice was decent, vegetable had no flavor, cook was boring. Didn't interact much. But here is the kicker. The SERVICE: oh my. AWFUL! The waiter looked miserable and had no desire to service us. Front of house would go sit in front of bar TV and literally play on there phones. Needed chopsticks. My 7 year old went up to waiter at the bar to ask for them and the waiter literally pointed to where they were and turned back to continue on her phone. This is where I lost it! Ticked me off. I got up and told her she was an awful waiter and that I wanted someone else. She literally began to argue back after I witnessed her treat my son like a inconveniencing dog. I asked for manager and she said it was my cook. I sat back down and complained to him. I asked where was the owner, he said in the back. He was apologetic and addressed the issue once he was done cooking. Seems he talked to waiter. He knocked 20% off the bill. Not what I wanted. I just want excellent service. Period. Unfortunately I can't say I will give this place another try. They need a major overhaul and a change in how they view and treat the customer.

Food is great and service is wonderful. Waitress made sure we had everything we needed and was very nice and helpful.

I come here all the time for lunch. The food is excellent most of the time and the lunch prices are very good. They are pretty slow but you can get out much faster by sitting in a booth instead of grill as they serve same food at both. My biggest issue though, and one i dont have a trick for is the service. Most of the waitresses are awful except the two nice asian ladies. It is pretty obvious the other waitresses hate job and do not want to be there as they are rude and not attentive at all. Good news is that the place looks pretty nice as theyve done some redecorating and you cant beat the price for good hibachi. If they got rid of terrible waitresses this place would pretty much be perfect.

Actually being able to watch the food get cooked in front of me rather than being served food that had been sneezed on or the occasional boog' thrown in, excited me. This place was, shamefully, my first hibachi experience. I know it's not lady like to tell a stranger, that is a man, that I love his white sauce, but I bought some and found reasons to put it on everything. I became the Bubba Gump of white sauce: eggs with white sauce, toast with white sauce, chicken with white sauce, white sauce on white sauce-you get the picture. Over the Summer, I stopped going as often so when I returned some random Monday night for hibachi night I was extremely disapointed. The white sauce was now a pink runny sauce and the portions were cut in half. I understand the economy is bad but raise the price, don't charge the same price with half the food. I thrive on left overs, help me, help you! I have found a new place where the white sauce is white sauce and the portions and service are consistent each and every time.

Great dining experience from start to finish. Great service, great people and food. I strongly suggest going with family and friends. Best sushi i have eaten so far. Their main is hibachi so go with a group of people. If you are going by yourself, you can do hibachi at the dining side.

This place is very good but the staff can get overwhelmed if there is a rush. The sushi is very good overall.

Went here for dinner tonight and had a great time!! Our hibatchi chef, Jimbo, was absolutely hilarious!! We all enjoyed his "performance" from the time he started, till he left!! I would say that they are a bit overpriced, but that's Japanese Hibatchi for ya... and the food is definately yummy. I would definately recommend trying to sauce they give you for seafood and putting it over you rice!! Delicious!

This is a great place to have sushi - but I have never heard of a japanese place that runs out of rice!! I have drove 25 minutes on more than one occasion and they have no rice. Other than that no issues with the food.

We wre invited to join my stepson and his GF for a late lunch yesterday( 2/10/2013) Place wqasn't crowded so we sat right down. Service was friendly and effecient. We ordered some suschi, chicken soup and the habachi steak and chicken & shrimp. The suschi was excellent I thought. We had 3 kinds. My favorite was the "playboy roll". Next we got the chicken soup which disappointed me as it was nothing but chicken flavored water with no chicken and one poor noodle. The misou soup looked better and tasted better plus it did have stuff in it. Our cook was very effecient and made an excellent meal for all of us. No complaints what so ever but he had no personality at all. never a joke, look or even an acknowledgement we were all there. At the end he just walked off. They need to work on that. Our waitress, a good old southern gal was much more entertaining. Price tag for 4 lunches with suschi, 2 ice teas, one coke and two beers.. $128.00 a bit steep. We'll be back again! The place is worth a try.

We were so surprised at this unassuming place! We stumbled on this place, hungry on a Friday night. We spotted the Five Guys near by and didn't feel like burgers. We spotted Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse and decided to give it a try. I'm sorry but I don't really expect much out of Japanese/Sushi places here in the suburbs, but it was delicious! We nixed the hibachi because most of us wanted sushi. Their list of specialty rolls was exciting, but so overwhelming! There are about 35 different ones that they offer besides their hand rolls and sashimi. It would have been easier to order if we had a pencil and checklist we could mark ourselves. They were reasonably priced and were large enough portions. My 5 year old doesn't like sushi so she had a kid's hibachi steak meal and the amount of food she was given was huge! It was a good size portion that was enough for an adult. Wish I could recommend some yummy rolls to recommend, but I honestly don't remember the names. :( I had an amazing roll that was a regular spicy tuna roll (spicy tuna, cucumber, avocado, rice) with regular tuna on top- YUMMY!!! It sounds like this place has improved a lot since the last ratings were made. The bathroom looked newer and was clean. It really is a tiny place, but surprisingly on a Friday night it wasn't packed.

I took my family here to celebrate my wife's birthday. We used to come here once a month and always loved it... Well the last 3 times have been disappointing. The cooks aren't as entertaining as they used to be and the food does not taste as good as it used to be. Carpet is dirty and bathrooms are disgusting. I'm scared to see the kitchen. The last couple times we have been there, we were seated right away. Only 3 other people were eating, so I guess I am not the only one that has noticed the decline in food quality and cleanliness. I don't think we will be back.

Absolutely the best sushi I have found in Georgia! Love all the guys there and been going for years now. Wednesdays are the best to go for sushi because it's buy one get one free!
