Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

The inside of this restaurant had a very VERY strong smell of maybe spray paint? Some chemical but it was pretty off putting. They bring you chips and salsa when you first sit down and the salsa was a 3 out of 5. I ordered a lunch special burrito with chicken. When the food came out he had to hold the plates with oven mitts.... First thing that came to mind is they must microwave their meals. Cut open the burrito and its full of beef. The waiter didn't come back so I actually had to go searching for him to tell him my meal was wrong and I would not eat it. I tried it but the beef was funky tasting. They changed it out for what I ordered originally. I wasn't impressed. I wouldn't ever get the chicken burrito again. When our bill came we saw that he had charged me the dinner price when it was supposed to be the lunch special. He did change it but he had our card for about 20 minutes. I wasn't impressed and wouldn't visit this place next time I'm in town.

This was my first time going to Hacienda and I was very impressed with both the service and the food. On entry our waiter greeted us and I asked for a table with a booth. He playfully said "no" and then winked and sat us at a booth. Since we had never eaten there before we asked for our waiter's recommendation and he was very patient with us and answered all our questions about the various dishes. He said that if we would give him a meat (beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, or vegetarian) he would help us find a dish. He also asked what level of spice we like with our meals and that helped him to further tailor our choices down. For me he recommended the Chili Rojos dish, which is pork covered with a spicy red sauce. It's not something that I had tried before so I just went for it and it was absolutely delicious. It was served with a side of refried beans and rice and I left absolutely stuffed. They also had a two for one margarita special ($5.25 for two margaritas) and those were delicious as well. I will most definitely be going back soon.

Aside from feeling like I knew what the inside of a piñata looks like we had an awesome time. I'd heard awful things but we gambled and were amazed. I have a smaller appetite and they had perfect options for that. My guy's larger appetite was satisfied with leftovers and we're both still talking about the sauces and enchiladas. For the leftovers they didn't give us a styrofoam container like the other places but a foil one that can be placed in the oven for reheating. We will be back and probably soon.

Went for taco tuesday. Tacos were good and great value. It's also happy hour and that 2 for 1 margarita deal is not good. They pre-made some concoction in a tub... basically little alcohol. I wish it was a real drink made by a real bartender. Too bad..

If you are going to lunch try this place out great food an environment. Barito loco is awesome an huge. Arroz con pollo is another good dish they have. But my favorite one is chipotle pollo the chipotle sauce is some of the best I have ever had an it's a good portion. You get chips an salsa free an it's made fresh that day. If you are filling adventurous ask for the white hot salsa it's really good an spicy for any of you pepper lovers out there. Along with that they have great salads as well for those who are looking to watch what they eat. Hands down one of our favorite places to go for food around the shop.

This place is solid. Stopped in for dinner with the family and all meals were on point as well as the service. I ordered the burro de la roqueta which was a favorite stand by of mine in North Carolina Mexican joints. Haven't seen one on a menu in Florida so I had to order it. I wasn't disappointed either! This thing was filled with delicious carnitas topped with a spicy salsa verde and cheese sauce. Along with the standard rice and beans. Can't wait to come back!

Had dinner there tonight and really enjoyed it. The food was very tasty and the serving size was more than enough. Prices were good, staff was friendly. Overall it was a great meal and we'll be back.

Service was very good. Food arrived when expected. Prices were reasonable and portions were good sized. My burrito Loco was enormous. Unfortunately, all six of us agreed the food was bland and forgettable. Probably won't return.

I found the restaurant to be well furnished and decorated. The waitress was pleasant and served my water quickly. After a few minutes she returned to take my order--the order was completed and it was served within 10 minutes. The food was pleasantly presented, the serving dish completed the entree. I ordered the Mexican salad. There was plenty of food, toppings, etc. However it needs to be spiced up. I expected the dish to excite my taste buds - it failed. I believe it will get better with time!

I loved this restaurant. The food was delicious and the menu had one of the largest selections I have seen in a long time. I ordered the Chimichanga and it was great. I also had a chille relleno and it was very tasty as well. At the time I went they also had a special with 2$ margaritas which I also thoroughly enjoyed. Overall I am very impressed with this restaurant and I think it leaves local competitors like los vallartas and panchos villa. The portions are massive and the prices super reasonable. Be warned the loco burrito is gigantic. I'm pretty sure you could feed a family of 4 with that thing. :-) p.s. This place also has a full bar if you were interested.
