We went for lunch, the food was delicious. My son wanted sliders with no cheese and the chef overheard him and offered to make him 2 fresh little burgers just the way he wanted them. The chef and staff were great. The food was fresh. It was a great lunch.

I'm pretty critical of Golden Corrals. Primarily because the last one I ate at in Ohio (before this one) was an absolute disaster! So I came in ready to tear the place to shreds in a review. I was pleasantly surprised! Now mind you, it's still a buffet....not a 5 star restaurant. So you're still gonna get the children running around and some shady characters now and then. The food area was clean and well-kept! That got my attention...as well as my satisfaction. There was TONS of variety. From the salad bar, soup, tacos, steak station, etc to the dessert bar. It was all very good!! It was kind've busy around 5:30 pm when we went...but that's to be expected. I come to Zephyrhills about once a year to see family....so I'm sure I'll be back!

This place has a gray breakfast on Fri-Sun. The lunch isn't so good. Dinner is good. Not sure why they bomb lunch but we have been here over a dozen times and breakfast is the best. They have an omelette station and a waffle maker so I'm in heaven. Only real improvement I can think of is adding IHOPS pancakes and IHOPS butter pecan syrup. Then again eating at IHOP would be substantially more expensive considering I can have omelette, waffle, sausage, pancakes, corn beef hash, bacon, slice of ham, and extensive selection of fruit. We will definitely be back again and again. Only improvement would be lunch. Seems it's leftovers from yesterday.

Probably the best buffet I've been to. Good variety of food, all cooked and seasoned well. Decor is nice and everything is fairly clean. The only complaint I have is it's a little pricey, but for what you get, it's fair.

One of the best Golden Corals I've been to within southeast. Come winter you'd think it were the only restaurant in Z'hills. Lines are out the door n into parking lot. If you don't mind waiting enjoy!

I am rating for value and a good dinner salad. They had a spinach strawberry salad that was yummy. I pretty much had it all to myself as the customers here go straight for the piles of meat and fried crap. I have never actually seen this high of level of obesity as with the customers here. If that's your thing then go for it. If you want a healthy meal here there actually are some choices and I commend the owners for that . Enjoy.

I discovered this eatery when I first arrived in Florida December 2014 . Our Cousin took us and I have been back many times since. The People that work there are really enjoying making you feel welcome . It is a buffet place and you can eat whatever you want from the many selections offered . The waitstaff is also very helpful and really go out of their way to make the experience great. The cost does not hurt ,and the selection are nice . Great Family place for people on a budget . Everyone needs to check this place out . ENJOY !!!

What a refreshing surprise to walk into a Golden Corral and it be clean and not a complete zoofest! Nice quiet atmosphere, clean and organized, friendly staff fresh fixings and quite a surprise from the lobster tails. Sweet and tasty but a little too much old bay seasoning on such a delicate meat. Vegetables are rocking. The bakery is outstanding! Very good variety and selection.

This place used to be good when they first opened. It has slowly lost its food quality over the years and I would only consider this place a last resort to eat. They do have a lot of good food but it just tastes like its all leftover. I do not expect that for a place that cost 13 bucks for a buffet.
Service was good and food was tasty. So much to choose from and the quality was quite good. The food seemed very fresh and there was always lots of everything. Will return again when we visit the Tampa area.

There's not much to say about the golden corral. Except that as a customer you feel like a bunch of cows being corralled for slaughter. It reminds me of the Hanzel and Gretal Tale where the witch fattens them up and then has later plans to consume them. I would not recommend this place for anyone of any age. I gave them two stars because I was pleasantly surprised I wasn't hospitalized after. If you are looking for a cheap fix for dinner and don't mind the farm animal experience, golden corral is the place for you.

It's a decent buffet. There's quite a bit of selection to eat. Went for lunch with grandparents and they were happy. Today's salad bar was a little skimpy today, but other visits have been better. Could be the season. I usually leave feeling like I ate too much. They had some variety today on the desert bar. There was a chocolate chess tart that was very good. I go once every other month or so.

First I would like to say, there are a ton of options in Zhills. Second, Golden Corral met my expectations and was satisfying! Not being from the south, we never get greens or fried okra in our buffets, and they both tasted very good! All of the food I had was pretty good, I didn't even get to touch the desserts, but if you pace yourself you can certainly eat more than $10.49! The rolls are really good too with their honey butter spread, so be sure to ask for some! The steak was so...soooo tender, and you can put in your order and they will cook it to your liking, it was really good. It really upsets me that this lovely chain has one location in the skankiest part of MA, please bring more, its a lot of fun, maybe because of the southern charm of the wait staff!

Not too many choices in Zhills. I thought I would drop by and pick up a nice , crisp salad. However, this was not to be. The choices are meager at best. The green pea salad, I was happy to see, until I realized that the peas were very few and far in between the dressing in this salad. I just wanted to trash the plate an start over again somewhere else. I kept thinking on the way to the register, "you mean, I have to pay for this?" Que lastima!

This golden is better than any we have ever been to, period. Good quality food and of course as much as you want. It is always fresh and the staff is very nice. Good meal and desserts as well. We don't get to go a often as we would like but it is always good when we go. My kids bug to go here daily.

On my trip back "home" to visit, I tried out the new and improved Golden Corral. Way better than the one we used to frequent there! The food was fresh, the staff was friendly, and the selections were what you'd expect from a southern buffet. I do have to say, if you are a fan of collard greens, like I am- these are the best I've had in a commercial setting! Not to mention, I was pretty amazed over the cooked-to-order steak they served. It was tender, juicy, and quite flavorful! The Golden Corral in Z-hills is, by far, a place to check out, especially if you have no idea what you're in the mood for. It's the only buffet I've seen where they have a a nice little section completely dedicated to the typical taco salad-crispy tortilla bowl and all the fixins'! At a mere price of $10.49 you definitely get your money's worth and then some! Make sure you get the Rolls with their signature honey spread!

I work with Rhea (first reviewer) and we travel all over and often cross paths with reviews and this restaurant I definitly echo how she was feeling. The only reason why I gave it more stars is becuase although both of us are vegetarians, I eat seafood and right now they have the seafood lover feast thingy going on, and for the first time ever, I got to eat real good at a buffet. The crab cakes were handmade- I was SO impressed becuase it was hardly any filler! The different seafood options were impressive. Thankfully I did not go to this restaurant for the salad bar becuase it looked a little sad. The bread pudding was pretty yummy though.

I am not a fan of Golden Corral. Generally speaking, I am usually not a big fan of any Buffet, I got my fair share of it in the college dorms. My fiancée and I live in St. Pete but have been making pretty regular trips to visit her Granny out in Zepyrhills during the past couple weekends. Golden Corral is Granny's favorite! So trip number 1, we go to Golden Corral. The cleanliness was A+. The food was A+. And just as unexpected, the service was A+. Now your probably thinking how in the heck can there be great service at a buffet...it's self service. But when you are paying beforehand, everyone is talkative and friendly. They were fun, a little bit of joking around but nothing intrusive or obnoxious, just top notch hospitality. They keep the refills flowing and the plates coming. The service is spectacular, through and through. The best buffet I have been to (besides maybe on a cruise). Everything surpassed expectations so much that the next weekend, when we got to Granny's, the first words out of my mouth were "when are we headed to Golden Corral?" The only complaint that I have about visit number 2...WHERE DID THE CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN GO!
