In spite of what this says, they are not open on Sunday. Would have been nice to say how good the food and service was.

We waited 40 minutes to get a seat. The steak was tough and I had to pay for the salad bar when my husband's entre' included the salad bar. We weren't "allowed" to share. The salad bar was ok though. The waitress threw my husbands plate down and walked off. He had to get up and find some steak sauce. We had to ask for the bread and run her down for the check. It seemed like there was no order and everyone was so overwhelmed and confused. As we ate, 2 shades of gray was blasting. They are good if you like music blaring while you eat. Drunk grandma's dancing is not my cup of tea...

Once upon a time, I loved his place. It was close by and had decent food. Two weeks in a row I have stopped in after work on a Wednesday. I wanted their Wednesday crabfest special. The first time I arrived at 8:45, the posted closing time is 9. I was told the kitchen was closed, come back earlier next week. I rushed home from work and didn't even change, arrived at 8:30 and was told one table ordered 8 orders of crab legs and they were all out. I was told to try again next week. No thanks, I'll just head to either The Great Catch in Zhills, or Doc's in Dade City. Maybe they will want to earn my repeat business.

We have been to Blackstones several times in the last few months and every time the food was terrific, service was good and the entertainment was great. We will absolutely continue to eat at Blackstones!

Blackstones is now open and completely remodeled after the fire that closed them last year. They are also now open on Monday. We had a friend celebrating a birthday so she wanted to go there. It was very nice. We called ahead and they had a table set up for us with here name on it wishing a Happy Birthday complete with a balloon. I ordered the seafood platter w/fries. Had fried shrimp, clams and haddock. It was good. My wife ordered the haddock, broiled. Also good. It comes with the salad bar which has about everything there is available, especially fresh bacon bits which I always use to judge the quality of a bar. The plates were cold and everything was very fresh and well attended by a young lady who also kept it cleaned up. They have a fully stocked bar. The service was very good. We want to try it again for lunch.

First impressions are the place is very clean and well put together. the staff has been very attentive and friendly I like places that have the little loaf of bread with honey butter that they bring out the beginning. I ordered the chopped steak and mashed potatoes and my wife ordered the liver and onions okay all done with dinner and it was excellent my wife love the liver and onions she said it was very tender okay the number one question will we come back definitely yes . Next time I will try the prime rib i've been told it's the best anywhere if you're in zephyrhills fl. make sure you stop by and have a lunch or dinner you won't regret it

We came here as a group of nineteen to celebrate our parents's sixty-fifth wedding anniversary. The special events room was just right, the staff was helpful, the waiter was attentive. In general the food was tasty though we wouldn't recommend the stuffed grouper. We'd come back.

Not the best. My rib eye steak house special was tough and had too much fat. My wife's fish special was so over cooked it was not worth eating. Salad bar was only average. Soup was good. Baked potatoes were good. Waitress did remove the fish from our bill. Giant Margaritas were huge. Order it on the rocks not frozen. .

Ive been here a couple times and wouldent say its anything special. This place has been through numerous owners over the years and none of them can seem to maintain a quality food guide. I wouldent dine here again.

We have been going to Blackstones, formerly John's Steak and Seafood for years. There was a point, several years ago, that the previous owner let the property and food get a bad reputation. But the new owners have remodeled and revamped the building inside and out. They have created a great selection of food items on the new menu. They have managed to add prestige and quality along with the new name! We eat here quite often, hoping to make it on Tuesday nights for the split pea soup, which is fantastic! Our most recent visit was this past Tuesday, for my birthday. I had received a birthday coupon in the mail for up to $10 off my meal. I chose the Steak and Scallops dinner, which, like most of the dinners includes the generous salad bar and choice of 2 soups. As always, the split pea soup was thick and creamy and delicious. I remarked to our wonderful server Alicia that this was the best steak I had tasted in quite some time. The steak was flawless with loads of flavor. I also asked her to let the chef know how satisfied I was! My scallops were done perfectly, too. Bottom line is you get friendly service, great food including a nice salad bar and soups for a very competitive price. I have to think about other restaurants where you pay extra for their salad bar and soup, if they even offer those items.

Rowdy sports bar, not a quiet atmosphere, overworked waitress 05/31/14 EDIT DINER FROM TAMPA BAY * Psm5978 * 1 Review Before the fire, that burned the kitchen in January, this was a nice place. Now they have several loud televisions, with rowdy patrons betting on baseball. I spoke with the owner / manager about possible moving us to a quieter area, she qualified some nights that it gets loud, guess she didn't understand the suggestion. Nice salad, coarse little loaf of dark cold bread, waitress is short in attitude, acting hurried, forgets water requested, brings requested sliced lemons for the water to the table in a napkin. The restaurant charges $1.50 extra for "stuffed potato" , with our steak dinner. The steak is barely food grade (rib-eye). Realizing that marbling is essential, perimeter fat should not dominate the steak, nor should the steak be segmented, loaded with sinew, or half inch thick. So due to a crowd of old inebriated men, a frazzled waitress, and overpriced food for what it was, we will not be back. " Read less Was this review helpful? Yes | No

This place is great! You can either sit on the bar side or restaurant side. Bar specials daily, large food portions ( which are "homestyle" cooking), all entrees come with there large fresh salad bar, and the prices are very fair! They do have live entertainment on certain nights...it is definitely worth checking out!
