This isn't your standard chain restaurant fair, or a dingy diner with questionable food safety practices! Abbott Station is a lovely local restaurant serving upscale food in an adorable renovated house. It reminds me of the old Circles restaurant in Hyde Park/South Tampa. Great grill menu with steaks, pork chops and fish. The owners serve fresh grouper every week and it is WORTH it!! The portions are very generous and the overall meal is huge. Soup or salad (go for the Pumpkin Bisque!!), vegetables, potatoes, rice, your meal.....it's just delicious! My personal faves are Grouper for dinner, the pumpkin bisque for soup, and the bread pudding for dessert!

Nice find! Have been by here several times but worth the stop. 4 of us had dinner and each one was very tasty. The grouper was good as well as the chicken Parmesan and shrimp scampi. Desserts are made fresh daily and we had the bread pudding which was very good. Our server, Chris, was very friendly. We will be back.

This one is on our list of " worth going out of our way to eat here" it is an old railroad station. Decor is southern charm. The food is outstanding. Service was as good and friendly as possible. The cheese crepe will bowl your taste buds over --/ that good. Do not miss this place.

I've eaten here frequently. I've never had a meal I did not like. The food is always fresh, you can tell it wasn't frozen or precooked. And every time I go I always see staff cleaning during a down time or adding on to the place. My favorite foods there are the burgers, fries, pumpkin bisque and fish. It's nice to have a place that's not a chain restaurant, and doesn't cater specifically to the elderly with early bird specials.

FInally! We made it here when they are open. This is Zephyrhills (a hundred years ago the city was called Abbott Station, hence the name) so places don't normally stay open late but this one's hours are: Mon - Sat 10:30am - 8pm and Sunday Brunch from 8am - 2pm. We got there last night for dinner at 830pm and then realized they were closed. We went there this morning for an early lunch at 10:33am and were the only people there but it was nice. Our server was Beth and we like her. We had our choice of seats since we were the first customers of the day and even though they open only for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday Beth mentioned that they could make us some eggs or an omelet if we were looking for breakfast. I love small town places. We ordered the Chicken Salad on Croissant bun with cole-slaw and the Abbott Station burger with grilled onions, horseradish cheddar, no bun and subbed bacon for mushrooms (also offered by our server as a good idea if you don't care for mushrooms, like us) with potato salad on the side. Plus coffee and waters. Check the pictures to see what it looked like. Most places in the area have bitter coffee but this was yummy and smooth. I liked it. I also enjoyed the chicken salad which was pretty basic (salt, pepper, diced onion, mayo, chicken) but tasted like my Grandma's. My husband's burger was delicious. Not at all dry, there were juices everywhere (he ordered it medium rare) and it was seasoned perfectly. Synopsis: Go here if you have kids, go here if you don't have kids. Go here in the summer and sit indoors with AC, go here in the winter and sit on the screened in porch instead. Go here if you like good food or just go here if you like to eat food. Now that we know their hours we will definitely be going back. Today's special was pumpkin bisque and I didn't have it so I know I must return to try that! We'll keep you posted.

Good "Old Fashioned" Meal with Great Service! Nicely appointed, very clean, modern restaurant with an old-fashioned touch. Our meal was nothing short of outstanding. The service by our server,Becky, was wonderful! Everything was perfect. Reasonably priced, a nice outing overall. I recommend this restaurant highly when you want to old-fashioned meal experience! Great place, awesome service, and owners are as friendly as they can be. The lady owner pay so much attention to details that she even remember us over the phone by out last name after only being at the restaurant one time. Food is delicious! I love their steak panini and the burgers are great and the pumpkin soup is really good. You can bring your own bottle and paid a very reasonable uncork fee. We have never been disappointed. One time the chef even brought us a sample of a new appetizer they were thinking on including in the menu. We love Abbott, their staff and food!

Nice clean place with overall good tasting, if bland, food. Had older clientele which would demand this, though. Wait staff were nice, and attentive, down home style. Safe place to eat as I expect it doesn't vary too much, which is good.

Really wanted to put at 2.5 stars. Front of house was friendly but wait staff were slow and not very attentive. Food prices were expensive for the area and average around $13 for a meal. Food was either bland or WAY over seasoned. Really wanted to make this place a regular local hang out but I just can't without some changes.

You really must try this place. Forget about the previous eatery that occupied this place, this is nothing short of a transformation. From the time when you first walk in to your last bite, you will be amazed and pleased at the decor and the food. We had the grouper and the mahi both were fresh and flavorful. Finally a Zephyrhills restaurant where you will want to return. Well done ABBOTT STATION. We'll be back

Stopped for a quick lunch. We had a terrific waitress, Becky, who was patient as we struggled to choose between several appealing options. We finally landed on a panini and a blackened tuna wrap. Both came with side options of cole slaw, potato salad, or French fries. We opted for the cole slaw which was actually the only disappointment of the meal as it was a bit bland. The tuna wrap was outstanding- loaded with tuna and some fresh veggies. The panini got high marks as well. During our meal the chef stopped by to ask if we enjoyed our meal- that's always a nice touch. All in all we give high marks to both the food and service.

You know that feeling you get when you are in a place and you can tell they sincerely appreciate you? That was the feeling got when I walked in the door, they treated you as a friend, not a customer... The Abbott Station burger was a great balance of flavors. The burger was well seasoned, served on a croissant bun, with fried onions and mushrooms..then my favorite part, the white chive and horseradish cheddar! It gave the burger that lil kick to make it perfect... Dessert was a brownie waffle al la mode. Yum, I know, right? I expected it to be a bit oily, but whenever they used to make it not stick really worked! I would HIGHLY recommend this lil spot, even if it is out of the way.
