Fantastic experience! As I was driving out of town on a Sunday, I popped by Sushi House for a quick bite around noon. I was by myself so I sat at the sushi bar. The server was quick to bring me water and take my order. I started with a miso soup, followed by a couple special sushi rolls. The miso soup was very good with large pieces of tofu and seaweed. The Forest Roll - spicy yellowtail, jalapeno, scallion topped with spicy tuna, wasabi sauce - was incredible. It had a kick of spice but wasn't overdone. The Triple House Roll - salmon, tuna, yellowtail, cucumber, topped with tobiko, spicy mayo sauce - was also a whirlwind of delicious flavors. It was the perfect quick meal on the go.

Very delicious! Fresh sushi that melts in your mouth. Clear soup was very good too. Service was great and staff was friendly. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality. Will definitely be back!

Stopped in for a to-go order: fresh spring roll (not what you think- it's a maki roll with avocado lettuce and seaweed salad, with rice paper instead of seaweed wrapper) and a tango roll (tuna and mango). Both were really good, fresh, and creative. Service was quick and friendly.

We didn't know this place existed next to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. The prices are average. The interior decor is quite nice for a strip mall store front. The service was prompt. They were busy the entire time we were there on a Saturday evening. We didn't wait too long for our food despite how many guests they had. Really great flavors and combinations for the special rolls. The volcano and forrest were our favorites!

Wow I have already been back twice since my first visit and every sushi roll Ive had has exceeded my expectations. I even decided to try something I've never had before , a raw spicy scallop sushi, and it was delicious and sweet. I'm so glad I found this gem. The sushi chefs are very friendly and the waitstaff is great!

This place is ok. It's in a strip by a dollar store. Good lunch specials. It's not bad but I wouldn't write home about it. But I'll write u all. The bento box lunch is like 7 bucks I think for soup salad California roll veggies fried rice and your entree of choice.

Just happened to stop here for Thursday evening dinner on our way to Miami from NC. Wasn't expecting much as the place was in a strip mall. Pleasantly surprised at how good this place is. I had the sashimi dinner. Generous portions, everything very fresh, not very expensive. Wife had a dinner bento box which was excellent. Comparable to the best sushi restaurants I've been to in many cities. Service was excellent. The place began to fill up as we were finishing our meal.

We go to Fernandina Beach quite often because my sister and her husband lives there. When we visit and if we crave Japanese or Chinese food, Sushi House is our go-to spot. To be honest, I usually crave their fried rice more than their sushi. Not that they have really bad sushi, just that their sushi is ok, but their fried rice is freakin awesome. Overall, the food was good, the price is decent... so I would say this is more than "A-OK" but not quite a 'fan' place for me.

Oh how I miss this place! 5 star sushi every visit and top notch service! A true hidden gem in Yulee! Their speciality rolls are some of the best in the nation and I have tried sushi in a lot of different places. Jun the owner is very sweet and will make sure that you have a wonderful experience. I can't say enough great things about this delicious & humble establishment!

I've been going to the Sushi House for three years now! It's an excellent restaurant with a reasonably priced lunch special (less than $10). Dinners tend to be considerably more ($15-$25), but they're what one would expect to pay at a sushi restaurant in Florida. The food is always very well prepared and I have never eaten anything bad. The service is moderate to good. Although I have never had BAD service, I've also never had *excellent* service. It's not a super fancy restaurant, but it is good for a small dinner date with a friend or loved one. I would say that it is precisely what it should be, but nothing above average.

Ew! Teriyaki sesame chicken was gross nothing but fat barely edible. Sushi was weak nothing special and very small... But for the cheap price I'm not surprised. Service was great probably because we were the only ones there also the place was awkwardly quiet... so uncomfortable. Overall Very disappointing I won't be going back :(

My husband and I go there once a week. They have fresh, excellent food. Have never gotten a bad meal. Love the family that runs it, they are friendly and honest. Not fancy but good food and hometown! That's what I love:)

On the way home from Pecan Park, we detoured to find a place to eat. The restaurant we were looking for was closed, but this one was nearby. We were not disappointed. The prices were reasonable, especially the sushi prices, and the food was very good. The service wasn't anything special, but it wasn't bad, either. If I was in the area, I would plan to eat there again.

we love sushi and had been considering trying sushi house, bc it is close to where we live. we went tonight, around 815p. the restaurant was clean and well-decorated. the staff was very nice and accommodating. the prices were average. we ordered the rainbow roll, New York roll, spicy tuna roll, and a side of fried rice. the spicy tuna was the best of the rolls. I'd say the sushi was alright. I'd go back to satisfy a sushi craving, but it won't be my first or even second choice. overall the food was ok.
