Stop for lunch and was so suprised at how much food came on the daily shrimp special. Everything was delicious. Got an order of corn nuggets and it wasn't an order of 5 or 6, it was an order that would feed 5 or 6 people. The Shrimp were very good. Lightly battered and hot. French fries were cold, but I mentioned it to the staff, and before I knew it they had brought me a whole plate of fries that were fresh and hot. Coleslaw was out of this world. This was our first visit to Juniors, and I a sure you we will be back. Oh, one thing I forgot to mention, Juniors staff is awesome! They were very friendly and helpful. Go visit, I don't think you will be disappointed.

my family and I came here this past summer on our trip to Amelia island. It's nothing fancy yet the food was FRESH! Bravo Bravo. They also offer beer and wine to accompany your meal. Since we had never been before, we were expecting more of a sit down restaurant with waiter service, so when we pulled up we were a little shocked it was in a strip mall. TIP : It's more of a fast food kind of place then an actual restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. I would recommend if you are looking for something casual and quick.

My husband and I thought that we would try something new by traveling out of Jax and checking out this restaurant and you late on Saturday night. As he walked into the restaurant Saturday we smelled a bleach dirty rag smell so we asked the cashiers what the smell was and they said it was the sulfur and begin to point out the sulfur water. We told them we would not be eating there because the smell was actually burning our eyes. We proceeded to leave and my husband and I were walking out the door and she said what you don't want to eat here because it smells clean in a very rude manner? It was far from Clean. I don't think dirty rags sulfur and bleach is a clean smell. We got a few feet from the door and my husband said that was very rude of her and she came back and said that was very rude of you. It was not worth getting into an altercation with a young girl but I will tell you if you're looking for seafood I would recommend you go to another place. After we told the story to a friend she disclosed some very disturbing information about the restaurant and I was glad that we had not eaten there. This review is based simply on the customer service level that we received by walking in the door. We did not taste the food and did not want to taste the food after that point. I'm not judging all locations on this but this particular one definitely needs improvement.

Excellent menu selection, wonderful people and service and delicious food. Juniors was spot on for an impromptu seafood lunch yesterday on our way back to Amelia Island! My parents and my little guy and I stopped in, perused the menu and made our selections - you order at the counter. I did the lunch fried shrimp with two upgraded sides, the shrimp corn chowder and a side salad, dad got the 20 piece fried shrimp lunch special, which came with two sides and a drink (an awesome value at $11.99!), and mom did a lunch seafood trio with fried oysters, shrimp and deviled crab. I don't think anyone's meal was more than $13... And we all had a ton of food! Overall, everything was absolutely delicious. The soup was good, but could have had a few more shrimp, the side salad was pretty basic, but fresh, and everyone's seafood was excellent. We agreed we'd definitely come back! Junior, as the owner is known, stopped by to check in with us, and brought my 9 month old a cup of apple sauce. That was a good call and much appreciated! If you're in the area, stop by for a nice, fresh seafood meal!

I had dinner here at the recommendation of my sister and my parents who live in the area. Boy, am I glad I did! It's a walk up and order type of place. Then you take a seat and a buzzer. The time I was there, one of the staff brought our food to us. We just had to get our drinks at the self-serve station at the counter. The food is fresh, fried but not greasy and the hushpuppies are wonderful. I'm a fan and am sure to be back with my family.

Well first thing I noticed when I walk in is its a very clean well kept establishment... There's your first star.... The young lady taking your order was extremely rude. Maybe because it's New Year's Eve and she's not able to take her underage out and get hammer drunk all day... Just my guess. She was rude to my father who is a senior citizen. She slammed her fingers on the screen to make it blatantly obvious she was pissed off.. Whatever... Ordered our food and moved on.... The sweet tea was delicious. So sweet and fresh.... There's your second star.... The food all tasted the same. Everything is fried. No special seasonings... The fried green tomatoes tastes like the fried popcorn shrimp.... Nothing really special here.... Might as well go to Captain D's and save your money....

Casual dining establishment where you order your food at the register. Clam chowder was excellent and the coconut shrimp were great. My sister ordered an entree that came with cheese grits which she said "were the best ever". Good little place to come after a long day at the beach.

Me and my family went to Juniors tonight. I have passed it several times and wanted to see what they had to offer. The place is very clean and well kept. The service was excellent. I had the Seafood Platter and my Wife had the Crab cakes and Fried shrimp. First thing the portions are enormous, We both had the dinners and it was entirely too much to eat in one setting. The food was really good. not over seasoned, And the coleslaw was great. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for decent seafood at an affordable price. The fact that its 5 minutes from my house means this is a place I will frequent over and over again

I had a nice lunch here for the most part. There's one in jax so I'm glad it came here. The hipster kid who took my order had the personality of a wet rag maybe his hipster pants were too tight. That was the only downfall. Nice establishment. The rest of the staff was very friendly. I got the shrimp and grits and it was very tasty. It also had sausage so added bonus. Huge menu.

The food was pretty good, but they need more healthy vegetable side options if you're looking to make it a healthy meal. The staff was nice, but all they do is bring the food out to you. I would suggest they check on the tables to at least see if the food came out ok and if the customers need anything. This place is good for casual, quick, self service. I'd come back here if I was in a rush, if not, I'd keep driving to a restaurant on Amelia Island.

We ate here when it first opened. I haven't written a review because I didn't think that it would be open long enough for it to matter. We were excited to have a new seafood place since there are so few in Fernandina Beach, the home of the shrimp industry in Florida. You have to walk up to a counter to order, not pleasing to me, but I wouldn't complain about it either. We had to walk around a clump of nasty looking fur mat in the middle of the restaurant. When I got to the counter, I pointed it out and said that I thought that they should get that up immediately. Two women behind the counter looked at it, right in the middle of the floor and then took my order. It looked like the remains of a dead rat. Very disgusting! It was still there when we left after dinner. We got our food and it was mediocre to less than that. But as I was eating, I found a curled piece of metal in the slaw. It was about three inches long in its corkscrew shape, much longer if I had straightened it out. I took it up tot the women; they looked at me blankly and took it. That was the end of that. No apology, no embarrassment, no offer of a discount. All in all, I don't know how this experience could have been much worse. I am surprised that Junior's is still in business. I thought surely that a lack of customers or the health department would close them down. It needs minus stars!

Shrimp and flounder 12.99. Excellent shrimp, fish TOO fishy to be flounder in my opinion. Baked potato so so. Cole slaw, green beans, and hush puppies excellent. Jumbo shrimp 11.98 senior. Shrimp was tough. My smaller shrimp was better. Good service as it is a walk up and order. Would come again. Stick to small shrimp!!!

Had a great experience here and loved the food. They were out of coconut shrimp at the time so we got to sub in something different and they sent us another appetizer as well on the house. Really nice people and the food was excellent.

Ate there last night with a friend who was not a local and this is really just fast food seafood. The food was good but NOT great at all; not horrible but not great. Two meals came to $45 with soft drinks. Definitely NOT worth the price. You order at ciunter and food is brought to you at your table on cafeteria plastic dinnerware. Nothing great for $.

Courteous and fast. Casual. New and clean. Extensive menu. Fried, broiled, grilled, & blackened seafood options. We had fried shrimp and fried oysters baskets for lunch. Came with 2 sides. Fresh quality seafood cooked perfectly. Nice portions. Manager and a waitress checked with us to be sure we had what we needed.

Love their food, had the buffalo fried shrimp and the bang bang shrimp. So good. Cole slaw and green beans were great. Hush puppies could have been a little fresher but other than that it was great!

Just came into town and knew I wanted a good lunch, not fast food. Spotted this place on the way to the hotel and what a great find! Fresh seafood any way you want it and sides that actually taste good! Had the whiting special with 2 sides and hush puppies, all for $8.99! Coming from New York, it was a shock! The staff was super courteous, and one of the young ladies even wrote down points of interest for us to visit during our stay! Above and beyond and great food!

$14 dinner portion of Flounder was excellent, cooked perfectly and large. Staff was friendly and the place is spotless. I was shocked by their honesty in advising that they don't have Grouper but do have the fish sold by others as Grouper. The other restaurants never do this. Worth the drive from Jax.

We absolutely loved all 4 of our meals. Blackened seafood platter. Blackened Mahi tacos. Salad with grilled shrimp. Fried scallops. All fish and vegetables are spiced and breaded on site as ordered. They checked for MSG and changed the spices on the grilled shrimp just in case. We were all very satisfied with the quality and portions. Very clean. We'll lit safe parking lot. Fresh brewed sweet tea. Fabulous! !!!

We've been back several times, basically for the shrimp dinners and have NEVER been disappointed. We love this restaurant and are so glad they have located near us. It is our go-to place for good shrimp.
