I paid $40 towards an $80 groupon for 4...I didnt expect my bill at the end of the night to be $115 for the 4 of us. So if I didn't have the groupon it would have been $200 for the 4 of us (and our table only had one beer). Most of the meats were tough and unflavored, except for probably the garlic sirloin and beef ribs.

Salad bar: 5 stars I am truly amazed at the selections they have available at the salad bar. From hearts of palm to artichoke, grilled bell peppers, different type of cheese to cured meat to roasted eggplants and zucchinis and much more. I was in loved with the salad bar. The meat was only alright. I must say i have had better at other Brazilian BBQ restaurants and with a much wider selections of cooked meat. I am guessing from the lack of variations of the meat options, they make it back up with the salad bar :) I guess its just as good :) The cheese bread/balls...OMG delicious. They bring a basket of it to your table while its still smoking hot. It is extremely soft and chewy and insanely cheesy. It is YUMMY! We also order a pitcher of the white sangria which was also very delicious. Now, why the missing stars. i guess 1 missing stars will be for the limited selection of the meat available as they do MAIN Brazilian BBQ as their main focus of their restaurant. Another missing star. I love my waiter who was super hard working in getting us drinks and changing plates etc. However, they have this other waiter there that from time to time seems to just pop over to our table to take a soda order from one of us while carrying some sort of attitude like he is looking down towards us. It was super weird. He was rude, he brought over the sprite without bothering to see if my friend will like a straw for her soda. He literally just walked over, put it on the table and turn around and left LOL and before that, when my two other friends arrived to meet my one other friend and i, so we are a party of four right? My friends has never tried Brazilian BBQ before and so I was explaining to them about the salad bar and how the meat system works and then in the middle of my conversation, that same RUDE waiter just popped in and cut me off and started saying how the whole system of it work in a very fast, matter of fact tone and manner in no regards to first being intrusive to our own table's conversation, being rude again in cutting me off in mid sentence and 3 being RUDE again in rushing out the information to my friends with such UNINTERESTED tone and manner. What is this guy doing as a WAITER?? he literally does nothing to help out the tables other than just cruising around being rude and ignorant and doing what he wants and what pleases him while hold that stuck up look on his face like he is above all others when clearly and sadly, he is ONLY a waiter who is MEANT to serve the customer's needs. So seriously, get off your high horse or get out of the customer service industry dude. We were there with a groupon as it was how we found the place as I am visiting from LA. However, it isn't like we were being cheap with our orders of drinks and made no contest to the tip being included and has been great customers and good sport to all our servers even when THIS dude decides to be otherwise to us. What a jerk. A restaurant is not only about the quality of the food served, but it is also about the comfort level and the ambiance in which this guy gets an F for. Our poor waiter, being pull down but stupid people like him and having to work with such an ignorant idiot. Our awesome waiter has dark hair and i think i vaguely remember this RUDE dude has lighter shades of hair and also a slim slender build. Maybe he is just a DIVA and just being very GAY? who knows.

Okay, I'm going to say it. I go to Texas de Brazil all the time down here in Miami and I liked Nelore (since that seems to be the comparison most reviews are making). Yes! I did! They are quick and the sirloin, garlic bread, cheese bread, sausage and flank steak are all delicious. Once I had turned my little card to green, they were at my table in literally seconds. I came here for my cousin's graduation party and we all had a good time. The chocolate mousse cake I had for dessert was really good (you won't like it if you're not a big fan of rich chocolate). I had ordered a caipirinha and it wasn't very strong but other than that we were very pleased with the service, food and atmosphere.

The non-stop churrasco and different meats that were sliced at our table were all soooooo delicious and the buffet items were oh so good...service was on point but wow this place is super pricey. $40 per person is a bit steap for a Brazilian churrascaria. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the bill....I thought Ashton Kutcher was going to jump out and say "You've been punked"

I've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before. I've been told that Nelore is the best in Orlando and they were right. I'm extremely impressed and a fan now. My favorite was the beef rib. It was so tender that I literally just swallowed it. I also enjoyed the lamb and both sirloins as well as the chicken drumstick soaked in beer. I ate so much that I got sick-that's a good thing! I was a bit shocked that the filet mignon was the worst of all of the choices as it wasn't very flavorful and a bit tough and dry. The service was superb refilling all of our drinks mostly without requests. I can't wait for another opportunity to eat there again.

We decided to give this place another try because of its proximity to home and we needed a good celebratory dinner for a group. Our experience last night definitely made up for the last time. Service was attentive, salad bar was much better, and meats much tastier. Carlos was the best waiter we've had in a long time..thanks to him I think we'll be back!!!

Got the groupon. It's a rip off. They charge a huge service charge. Basically went from a $60 night to a $100 because of that. Total rip.

This restaurant far exceeded my and my family's expectations! The service was top notch and the food quality was awesome. Everything that we ate was flavorful and was cooked perfectly. We will definitely visit this restaurant next time we are in the Orlando area again.

Wishes granted - no need to travel to I-drive! :-D I signed up for their promotional emails a while ago and finally found a good reason to go after Brazil got creamed by Germany. I felt bad for Brazil so I came here. It made sense at the time. So I made reservations for a Friday/Saturday $29.95 dinner special. All you need to do is show them the email on your phone. I didn't even need to make a reservation because at 8pm there were many tables available. Parked in the pay garage across the street because I was wearing heels and predicted whining in my future. I'm not sure if they validate. I didn't ask. The server was super nice. Took our drink order and gave us some plates and utensils right away. I was surprised the mixed drinks are so expensive when I got the bill. Of course I didn't ask ahead of time how much they cost. Go to the salad bar right away with complete awareness you only have so much room in your stomach. I recommend a modest sampling of the mashed potatoes and some select vegetables like asparagus.... maaaaybe some mozzarella and gouda cheese. Sit your ass down and wait for the assistant servers (??) to come by with meat. All the red meat was fabulous. I could have done without the lamb and chicken sausage. I very rarely eat meat so I may be overstating the fact their meat is mouthwatering. I can't wait to try the lunch special next!

What a fun little surprise! We walked up with no intention of stopping and nearly walked right by this little treasure thinking it was Italian. What a great Brazilian steakhouse. The service was great, food was excellent, atmosphere was very nice. My only complaint was the filet (though he did go back and make one special for me). I prefer my filet not wrapped in bacon, otherwise it was delicious and much less costly that Texas or Fogo. I highly recommend the house special and the beef ribs! Yummy yummy.

I decided to try the "local" Brazilian steakhouse since I frequent Texas De Brazil and Fogo De Chao. I was disappointed. First of all, I used to like Winter Park but it's now it's a stuffy area w/ a ton of "wannabes" No thank you. The service was horrendous. I had to actually fight w/ my waiter to bring my change. So on the third request for my change (my change would have been a 30% tip. He didn't even deserve the standard 20%) so on the third request he brings me the actual coin change. I spoke to another staff member and they made him bring my change. Who just assumes they can keep your change? You go to a Brazilian steakhouse for the meat but a nice salad bar is always a plus. This salad bar is dismal. It's beyond lacking. It's about 12' in the back of the restaurant. The meat is good I will say but for just about the same price you can go to Texas De Brazil and have many more options and a nicer ambiance.

Outstanding service and food. The salad bar was unique with a variety of specialty foods; seviche, marinated mushrooms, grilled eggplant, heart of palm, cheese biscuits, broccoli soup, just to mention a few items. The variety of meats was exceptional, all cooked on a rotisserie: lamb, pork, roast beef, ribs, marinated chicken, filet mignon wrapped in bacon. I would highly recommend this restaurant because of the variety of meat. If you use a coupon they tack on the tip to your bill.

I went here with a group of coworkers last night at the recommendation of a Brazilian friend. The food was very good and what you would expect from a typical non-touristy churrascaria. I would say it is definitely on par with Fogo de Chao and eons better than Texas de Brazil, plus you can avoid the hassle of navigating I-drive which is worth a star in itself. Like most of the other reviewers, my favorite meat was the top sirloin. I also greatly enjoyed the picanha, beef ribs, and chicken apricot sausages. I probably had at least 6 of those chicken sausages because they were so delicious. We didn't try the leg of lamb or parmesan pork because it didn't seem worth the stomach space when there were so many other meat offerings. I did not care for the flank steak or the filet wrapped in bacon. The filet was actually quite disappointing because the meat was very tough, not even close to what a filet should be. The garlic beef was also too tough to eat so I only had one bite of that. We were not offered the pork ribs or the rib-eye, perhaps they were out of those. Overall we were having a great experience until it came time for the check. There were 6 people in our party and we had a Groupon for $80 off of 4 dinners. 2 were paying separately and the remaining 4 of us intended to split up our check but our server informed us that only one method of payment would be accepted since we were using a Groupon. I found this slightly annoying but offered to foot the entire bill, knowing that my colleagues would reimburse me for their meals. The check before tax, discounts and gratuity should've been around $188 for 4 dinners, 2 glasses of wine, a cocktail and a soda. Our bill actually ended up being $180, including the $80 discount, due to a cleverly disguised service charge (gratuity) of $60. I knew gratuity would be included with a party that large, but 18% of $190 is not even close to $60. When I mentioned this to the server he explained that the $60 service charge was gratuity for the entire table, including the 2 who were paying separately. Conveniently, there was no service charge on the other bill so our server may have gotten a much larger tip than he was entitled to if we hadn't noticed this. I am giving 2 stars solely for the shadiness of the bill situation. Food deserves 4 stars but hopefully this review grabs someone's attention so they can amend their current method of calculating service charges (aka gratuity) for larger parties that wish to split up the check.

I was really disappointed in this Brazilian steakhouse. I gave it 2 stars because the service was horrible. The meat was okay. My boyfriend made a reservation to try Nelore out at 8:30PM on a Tuesday. We arrived a few minutes early and the place was dead. The gentleman at the hostess stand greeted us and sat us right away at a nice table near the window. He gave us a quick rundown on how everything works and I assumed he was our server. I went to try the salad bar while my boyfriend waited for the meat. This salad bar had nothing on Texas de Brazil. I figured though, this is a smaller restaurant and maybe they want the guest to enjoy there meat more than anything. When I get back to the table my boyfriend still hasn't been given the plate for his meat even after he said he wasn't going to partake in the salad bar. Meanwhile no actual server has been to our table, greeted us, or asked if we wanted anything extra. Sitting down for quite a while I noticed every other table (only 4 tables including ours in the whole dining room!!!) in there had a server coming to them many times. We had to wait for extra clean plates. We had to hunt down a random server for drinks and refills and then when the meat servers came around we had to ask for a server for the check. Then when a busser was clearing off a table we had to ask her if she could please help us and cash out our check. I asked her how the serving per table set up was. She told us, "Oh no one is assigned to a table they all just help out each other." Worst idea ever if the servers never go to fricken tables that need assistance. I hate that I have to write a bad review cause my bf and I had high hopes. We love winter park and have been to almost every restaurant on park ave and the service this place offers sucked and leaves a bad look for park ave. Very disappointed:(

Outstanding. The best Brazilian steakhouse jn Orlando, it is authentic and compared to others on international drive this one wins hands down. We come here a lot. Sever Matt is a charm and made the evening very exciting. Can't wait to go back.

This was my first experience with a Brazilian steakhouse and I went with sort of odd group. Two of my four group members are not hard-core carnivores, in that they would never imagine going somewhere to eat their body weight in meat (I'll kill the surprise - it's my mother and I). However, my Mom is a lovely lady who wanted to plan something fun for her new son-in-law, who would consider it heaven to eat his body weight in meat and found a great deal. So off we went for a new experience. The space itself is warm and inviting, done in dark woods and nice white cloth tablecloths. It was smaller than I expected, but the size worked well with the serving format, as we learned later. Our server was excellent and very welcoming. Upon learning we'd never been to this style of restaurant before, he gave us a great overview of what to expect. We decided to start with a visit to the salad bar, which was not huge but had a lovely selection of not only salad items, but marinated grilled peppers, artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, cheeses and cured meats. Two of my favorites were the smoked salmon and the great selection of olives. Other favorites at our table included the tomato soup and the chicken salad. And then the meat started coming...and coming...and coming. Top sirloin, filet, beef ribs, and bacon wrapped chicken - each was good, well seasoned and flavorful. My favorite was the chicken apricot sausage - very unusual and with a great balance of flavors between the meat and the fruit accents. My husband loved the ribs and partook a few times. I can understand why many do not want to fill their tummies with anything other than meat, but I really appreciated the side offerings of rice, black beans and potatoes to give a bit of palate cleansing to all the meaty offerings. The rice and beans were outstanding and greatly complimented the meat. We had all been rather excited about the lamb, which our waiter helped keep an eye out for. Sadly, for me, it was a little disappointing when it arrived. It was very rare (perhaps because they were rushing it) but also quite strong. The dining experience was really fun, with servers with meat on swords wandering about offering you a bit of this or a bit of that. We were all provided with small tongs for catching the meat as it was carved off the larger hunk. Our table did end up a little messy, but I thought the servers did an incredible job of juggling sharp objects and heavy skewers of meat and circling around the tables to each diner. Overall, a really lovely night and some place I can see us coming back to celebrate a special event.

First time at a Brazilian steakhouse, was expecting more out of this place. I called in earlier and asked what time was last seating and they said 9. Came in at 8:30, and around 9:30, they were letting people in. I'm more upset because we had to rush here knowing we couldn't get in after 9. Service was actually running around the place, but I guess they couldn't see us. No refills on the drinks, had to flag them down 3 times to ask for refills. Until the end I'm assuming they noticed, that's when they started giving us attention. Food was subpar. Was expecting better, but there was some meats that wasn't too bad. Now on the menu, and when we got there, they explained that we would try 15 different meats. They only offered us 7. And some of their steaks were completely just straight raw after being told they would be around the medium side. Best part was dessert by far. Got the NY Style cheesecake and it was delicious. Probably only reason why I'm not giving just one star. I would definitely try another Brazilian steakhouse, but not this one.

Nelore is the next to cash in on the Brazilian steakhouse fad. The restaurant isn't terrible compared to the other big Brazilan steakhouse in town and the location right off of Park Ave. makes it more convenient than going down to I-drve. The service is pretty good and the wine list is extensive. The "salad bar" is pretty well stocked with excellent items--smoked salmon and gouda, yes please! As for the bad... The first thing I noticed was dirt; dusty ledges and a poorly maintained men's room. It seems nit-picky but little things like that are a huge reflection on the management and staff. The meat was decent but I wouldn't call it good. Much of the meat was cooked mid-rare, including the chicken and pork. I'm a big fan of mid-rare steak but I don't like to see blood in my chicken. Due to the poorly prepared meat, we couldn't eat half of what was brought out. Two dinners and a bottle of wine ran me and my wife $150.00--I think next time I'll just go to Flemming's so we can get our meat prepared the way we want.

Went with group. The atmosphere was lovely. Only draw back was having to ask server two times for my drink. Other than that the food was outstanding. The rest of time serve of meat items was great. All the members were well fed and already talking about next visit. Make sure you go with large appetite. Enjoy.

GOOD food, good service and decent prices. I prefer Nelore over Texas De Brazil any day! The food here is much better quality, home made quality in fact. This was my first experience with a brazilian steak house a few years ago and am now a frequent visitor here. A PRIME restaurant on Park Ave and a DEFINITE when taking visitors!

This place was decent. They have lots of options of meat. Some lacked flavor, some had flavor and some were way too salty. The place was pretty empty and they told a couple they couldn't sit them. Made no sense because it was empty.

Look, I like eating in Winter Park... I also like Brazilian Steakhouses. So, this place meets that criteria, and this place is "fine". I am only saying this because Texas de Brazil is my favorite restaurant, so it's hard to compare. I've been here a few times with a groupon, so the price was right for endless meat! I would definitely go back again with a groupon, but it is not my #1 Brazilian Steakhouse choice in town.

Great lunch special. Fabulous salad bar, Brazilian steakhouse, Tomatoe bisque and melt in your mouth puff rolls. Great service and televisions mounted for a great view of the World Cup. Much better quality and value than at a Sports Bar.

Probably one of the worst cost / benefit ratio on Brazilian Churrascaria. Not only in the Orlando Area, but anywhere I have ever eaten on this kind of restaurant. The worst of all is that I had a Groupon to go there! If I had paid full price, the ratio would have been worse! What's good about it? The location! It's by Park Avenue in Winter Park, one of the best streets in the area to stroll and have some good time. What's not so good? All the rest. Salad bar is small and nothing special. Meat is on bye poor side of ok, with a slow service that left us waiting a lot between each meat pass - even when requested to the servers! And at the end, even with the groupon, I had to pay too much for what I got. Don't waste your meat craving on this place! Go to Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chão for a little more money but WAY more satisfaction!

This place was pretty damn good! Went here with a living social meal deal, apparently so did everyone else that was there lol. The salad bar had some great variety and lots of tasty choices. Some of the pasta salads were very dry though. The meat selection was pretty large. Everything I tasted was very delicious and seasoned so well. The stand out meat was the house special, The "Picanha". It was so lean and extremely flavorful. Other stand outs for me were the parmesan pork and the chicken and apricot sausage. The Dessert I ordered was the Brigadeiro. It was just MEH in my opinion. It was a disappointment and not what I expected at all. Our server Carlos was attentive and very helpful though. We left this place stuffed and very pleased. I would gladly return here when in the Orlando area.

Having lived in Brasil for a short bit, I can relate to the food and what is typical or at least expected. Service here has always been good, and the bar has always been fresh. The overall opinion in our group, including wife and in-laws, good enough for a Sunday lunch, and priced fair, even though they went up 3.00 since the first time we ate there. The bar is enough if you are ok with feijoada, this is where you will acquire your protein for the visit. If that's not enough, or you don't care for black beans, then you can order a protein from the menu. Mostly, I can say a fairly healthy eat if you have any sense of self control. We'll be back until they do something to cut corners, which sometimes happens with restaurants, often seen in Brasilian owned restaurants.

This is the best Brazilian Steakhouse in town! The price is reasonable and the quality of the food is great. The Salad / Sides bar is a little smaller than most places I've been too, however the location and ambiance is pretty hard to beat. The have a pretty good lunch salad bar special, but if your a "meat & potatoes" kind of person, you will LOVE the experience. They have a great staff (both the server and the gauchos), and my party of 4 did not have to wait. Even if there was a wait, no big deal, they have a large full service bar. As mentioned, visit their website and join their email alerts for awesome deals and coupons. Hey, who doesn't love coupons these days?

The setting is very intimate, almost too intimate as the tables are placed in such a way that it's hard to walk between the patrons. That having been said, and once having been seated, that's when the magic begins. I don't have much to say about the food, as most of my comments came in the form of grunts and sighs. The salad bar was always freshly stocked, and the variety was enough to complement the meats without overpowering them. This is, after all, the reason why you shell out the bucks. And it is worth very penny. I suggest the garlic beef and the bacon wrapped filet, although you will have plenty of opportunities to try everything to your heart's content. And the service, from the moment you walk in, is top notch.

The food was pretty good but they need to do something about that slippery floor. Nearly witnessed a shoulder stabbing from the guy with the flank steak.

This place is the literal worst. We had a Groupon and that is the only reason we decided to try it out rather than going to our normal Fogo de Chao. The salad bar is mediocre at best. They do have a bunch of different items, but none of them taste good. They don't even have croutons. Aside from the meat being poorly seasoned, which I'll get to in a second, the service was poor. Not poor in the sense that the staff was rude, more that the staff was inexperienced. Somehow one of them managed to slice a piece of meat into our Sangria. Another dropped the metal plate that holds the meat while it is being cut on the floor. Third, a server holding meat bumped into a bottle of wine at an empty table. Luckily it didn't break. As far as the selection of meat, it is decent. The taste wasn't there for me. It wasn't seasoned well at all. The Sangria was also very watered down. We paid $30 for a pitcher of Sangria that most definitely had less than 1/4 a bottle of wine in it. It was so bad we left early and went to Fogo de Chao for Sangria and dessert. Absolutely would not recommend at all even with the Groupon. Fogo de Chao or even Texas de Brazil are both much better options. This is an absolute joke of a restaurant. Anybody that claims otherwise has no idea what they're talking about.

This place is awesome. The service is great and the meat is even better. If you don't mind the price then nelore is for you! The only issue I had was trying to make a reservation, they clearly lost it, but gave us a table anyway.

---Pros--- Food: Tasty, but not as good as Texas de Brazil. Gauchos: Prompt, polite ---Cons--- Hostess: Asked if we had reservation @ 8:30 on Saturday, when the restaurant was 1/2 empty. Seated us about 10 feet away from her podium, and proceeded to stare

Refreshing to go to a non corporate Brazilian steak house. Salad bar was a little more creative than the ones at Texas de Brazil. They offered their sides at the salad bar vs table side which was good for me because i tend to fill up on carbs when they sit on the table the whole night. This way i was able to avoid them all together and focus on the meat..which was delicious! The cuts were fresh and not over salted like the ones at the chain steak houses. They had a few cuts that had more flavor than the others (garlic steak...flank steak) but all together i enjoyed the natural taste of the meat. Someof them were slightly over cooked. I like my meat medium to medium rare and most of them were medium well. Either way they were wonderful. We each had a couple glasses of wine and espresso which made our bill total around $120. One of our more expensive date nights but well worth it. My advice is take it slow. Avoid the sides at the salad bar and save room for the meat and amazing cheese bread.

I have only been to Nelore for lunch, so I missed the circling meat situation. The buffet was the best Ive been to in a while. They had great salads, vegetables, soups and breads. I would like to go back for dinner some time.

Very high priced for substandard food quality. We have been to numerous "Brazilian" style steakhouses and Nelore is one to skip by. Food quality was mediocre, small salad bar with very limited selection. The only thing over the top was the price! We will not return.

Great food and the service was very good. It was extra loud because of a huge party .. a Portuguese class .. about 50 very animated folks. Great wine selection. Everything from bacon wrapped filet mignon to the top sirloin to the lamb was excellent. The salad bar has some very nice things especially the chicken salad and the black bean with pork. It's a definite do over.

The five stars tonight goes to the waiters.and the food (as always) and of course the people that prepare the food....yummy!!!. I had to take a a star due to the seating processes. The pointless reservation and the organization of the hostess would of been a minus stars if that was possible. I admit they were squeezed for space tonight with it being to cold to be outside but, I was so upset that I almost walked out. The hostess kept telling everyone there table would be ready in a few mins. There was a.group.that also.had reservations because they had someplace to.be . hIad been looking forward to it to our dinner there all week. That is the only thing that kept me from leaving tonight. I am going to be honest if it had.been anywhere else.I would of vowed never to.go.back just because of that. Reservations.still had waiting for thirty mins (which as annoying but it.happens sometimes I get that) however a walk-in was seated before us. That was when I almost left. Despite that the food is amazing and the table experience is never disapointing!

We have been to other brazilian steak houses both in Boston and Las Vegas, which have been spectacular! This one ,,,was just ok. We had a groupon, for which we thought it was dinner for 2, It was NOT, you paid 25 for 50 TOWARDS your meal. No where was the price listed. The menu you got was only a wine list. Speaking of wine, a glass of sangria was 14??? and a pitcher was 30? wayyyy out of proportion price wise,,,hubby and I got the pitcher and didnt even get a buzz...so you know it was basically grape juice with fruit. Then the salad bar was just weird. lettuce, tomatoes and odd things like asparagus, etc...not a normal salad bar. Rice was tasty. Got nice hot rolls that were exceptionally good, but had to ask for butter and waitress never came back with it. Reminded her again that we didnt get our butter, By then the rolls were cold .Pork ribs were inedible. Sirloin was good. Filet Mignon was wrapped in bacon, great concept but was well done instead of at least medium.. Got creme brulee for dessert (to share) again NO price on menu...anyhow, they put the creme brulee on a warm plate,,but put Whipped Cream on warm plate,,,helloooooo,,,if you put cold whipped cream on a warm plate, it melts!!! . So when all said and done it was 50 dollars off a bill of 125 and we had already paid 25 for the groupon, Heck for 125 we could have gone to Flemings and had an unbelievable steak. Wouldnt go back.

This was my first trip to Nelore and I was very interested to try it. I'm a big fan of the Brazilian Steakhouse and this one is closer to my home than Texas de Brazil. I would have to say that there was nothing bad about Nelore but I can honestly say that there was nothing great about it either. The meats were good, the service was great but overall I think in the future I will drive the extra 30minutes and spend the extra $8 and go to Texas de Brazil; the meats are seasoned better and there is a wider variety to choose from.

Nelore is a fairly small sized churrascaria style Brazilian Steak house. The place itself is pretty cool, the atmosphere is nice, and the waitresses were helpful and attentive. Thought the food was pretty lacking, however. A lot of the meat was extremely bland and is nothing to write home about. They only brought around the "good stuff" (plain filet or bacon-wrapped filet) twice during our entire meal, otherwise it was the same sausages/flank steak/garlic steak that left us fairly unsatisfied. The salad bar was fairly small pickings, although what they did have was pretty good. Just wasn't worth the expense at all. Been to better Brazilian steakhouses (or restaurants in general) and will be back to them next time instead.

I've been to the chain Brazilian steak houses like Fogo de Chao and Texas de Brazil. I personally love Nelore Churrascaria because its more of a smaller intimate NON-CHAIN restaurant and I really like that. Location: Winter Park, FL wow I love this place. Everything's beautiful, the streets are paved with stones that add a feeling like your eating in the streets of Parie. I love it! Service: The service here was perfect, they were informative but not pushy. They never forgot about you. When our wine glasses or water glasses were close to empty they would refill it for us. Just a few con's they were a little messy sometimes cutting the meat and it falling on the table thank for the table cloth was clean. Also when pouring our wines they rushed and we had a few drops on our table cloth. Also they had tiny ants crawling around on my table. Made the meal a bit uneasy but I've come to and understanding its Florida.. their are bugs. Meat: Everything tasted phenomenal. What I tried: - Top Sirloin: Very delicious and juicy - Bottom Sirloin (Flank Steak): Personally my favorite cut at Nelore - Picanha (House Special): Eat the seared cut yummy smoked taste - Filet Mignon Wrapped in Bacon: I was a little disappointed with the filet Mignon its my favorite cut but I think the bacon through it off for me. Wish they came around with JUST the Filet Mignon no bacon. - Chicken Breast Wrapped in Bacon: This was a little dry even with the wrapped bacon. Guess the juices from the bacon over cooked the chicken. - Rib-eye: My boyfriends favorite cut it was definitely smooth and delicious. Salad bar & hot sides: The salad bar wasn't super amazing but personally when I go to Brazilian steak restaurants I don't go for the salad if ya know what I mean. BUT I did try their Basil Tomato Bisque and omg.. it was amazing! I couldn't help dipping my cheese bread. The cheese bread is also a lot better than Fogo de Chao's (my personal opinion) it was light fluffy and hollow inside. The smoked salmon was delicious, fresh with a hint of smokey goodness. Wine: We were suggested the Merlot because it went well with their top sirloin and most red meats and our hostess was right. Everything tasted really well with the wine. It made the experience that much better. We didn't finish our bottle of wine so they offered to wrap it up for us. How nice. Dessert: The Caramel Creme Brulee was delicious, the custard wasn't too sweet which I liked and the candy caramel was a little too sweet for my taste but that's how its suppose to be. Price: Promotions, If you sign up for their emails currently they're sending out 15% off your first bill, or they're doing $27.99 dinners or for $79.99 you get 2 dinners, 1 bottle of wine, and 2 deserts. What a deal! CONS: - Ants crawling on the table - Chicken breast wrapped in Bacon was a little dry - Don't get the Chocolate desert it was SUPER SWEET it tasted like Chocolate condensed milk and caramel. I forgot the name. - Messy waiters, dropped meat on table while cutting, also they don't know how to pour wine.

Again, another great time at nelore! Filet wrapped In bacon, great salad bar, great meats and the service is very very quick and of superior quality. I will be back as always. Try this place if you are ever in the area or visiting orlando. It is much better than all the other Brazilian steakhouses in the area which I have tried as well. A great experience at a great restaurant. BRAZIL STYLE!

Nelore is a nice steakhouse in a nice location in Winter Park. The tables are set quite close together, and when they are all full, it is hard to squeeze around them. But it's obviously doing very well and it's very clean, even the restrooms. The food itself is spiced and prepared in excellent fashion. The salad bar has nice offerings, but not overly many, and it is all super fresh and of the highest quality (the items are gourmet, such as grilled vegetables, marinated mushrooms, palm hearts, tabouli, various pasta salads). The hot 'carb' options were Brazilian style rice and black beans, mashed potatoes, and bread. Those were good, but I tried to stay light on the carbs since I wanted to indulge the meat side. The first time there, they offered pork and chicken during the rounds, but on a Thursday at 6:30 pm they only offered steak and lamb options until about 7:30 when one offering came around of chicken sausage and of pork. I had a Groupon deal both times I went. All of the meat was superb cuts and taste. Various states of done-ness would appeal to most visitors. To be honest, the waiters kept coming around with the same cuts over and over again, and I'm sure were a bit impatient at being told "no", but we were waiting for something different. In the end, though, it was a good things, since we were really full. The waiter came back and asked if we wanted a different cut of meat from the kitchen, and we said no. I was impressed he asked. Well done! Highly recommend the place, as the food is stellar... but for the amount that I personally could eat and the variety, I could not see paying full price for this. The taxes and gratuity added up to $18.60 and we paid about $40 for the groupon, so it was still a $60 meal. Well worth that price. But, not the full price at $75 plus tax and gratuity, unless you are a big eater. Then by all means, go forth and eat, your stomach will be happy!

Great steakhouse! I really enjoy eating here because they have a large selection of meats and they are always prompt and have nice cuts. The server never let my drink get empty and we're very kind. They have a nice salad bar and nice side items to compliment the cuts of meat. The flank steak and rib eye are fantastic.

Beware the Groupon! Some friends of ours bought dinner for two with the groupon and suggested we get one as well. We did, and read the fine print about one per table. I thought this surely meant one per check. NOPE. We arrived and were told in order to use our groupon we had to sit at two separate tables. That is is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. We were on two separate checks, so why should our seating arrangement matter? They lost our business for sure.

Great experience. Food was really good and tasty. We purchased a groupon deal thinking we would save a decent amount of money when in reality our bill turned out to be $189 for the four of us! We felt completely robbed at that moment. No prices were discussed after mentioning the groupon deal to our waitress so we figured it would've cover the majority of the bill which wasn't the case. We paid regardless and still enjoyed our time there. We had no other complaints and the food was good so we didn't mind spending a bit more than expected.

Food is mediocre for the price... only reason I gave a 3 is because the service was superior... didn't get a salad because gnats were all up in it

Had a great time as always. My favorite is the house special. Ask for chimichurri on the side for the stake!

We went here because of the Groupon I got. The place itself is decorated nicely. It's a bit small but the waiters managed to navigate through the tables with the various meats. The salad bar is small but that might be a good thing. The meat selection consisted of two types of chicken, a few sausages, lamb, a beef. The chicken leg was great the others were dry. The pork was dry. The signature beef was terrible. It lacked flavor and was very tough. The best meat of the night was the skirt steak. We opted to skip dessert and walk down Park ave. The service was excellent but I did find it odd that they would automatically add 20% tip for a party of four. As we left the restaurant I overheard another couple say that this place was only worth it because of the Groupon. That is an accurate statement. #orlando # dining #winterpark

If you're looking for a Brazilian Steakhouse experience, forgo Texas De Brazil and all of the I-Drive crowds and come here. It's located on a quiet street off of Park Ave in Winter Park. It's quiet and perfect for a date night. The other thing I like is that they don't try to fill you up on the salad bar when you've paid to eat the meat. Don't get me wrong, they have a great salad bar with lots of grilled vegetables, antipasta meats, olives, cheeses, smoked salmon, and salads. Because the restaurant has a small footprint, service is very attentive especially from the gauchos. Every time I've been there, they have remembered my preferred meats and my preferred way of eating them. I had a gaucho stop by my table about 3 times one night with their house sirloin, so rare just the way I like it, because he knew it was my favorite. I've read a few of the negative reviews on here, and I can't disagree more. Maybe it's because I've never been with more than 4 people at my table, but I've always found the food and service to be very good and better than it's more well-known counterparts. Do look for the Groupon if it's being offered. They are always happy to honor it, and that way to can try the place out and make your own assessment without dropping too much cash.

Came to Nelore Churrascaria with my girlfriend with a promotion from Travel Zoo. The salad bar area had a nice selection of veggies (I liked the roasted peppers the best), rice, black beans, salad, etc. We stayed away from the rice and various starches so we could fill up on meat. At first bite the meat was delicious. My favorite cuts were the Parmesan pork, House Special (top sirloin), and the first round of lamb shank. After a bit all the meats started to taste the same... salty. It was just so overwhelmingly salty after halfway through our meal I didn't enjoy the meal anymore. If you get the lamb be sure it is medium rare. My first round of lamb was perfectly medium rare and was tender. The second time around the lamb was well done... and had that "lamb stank." The third time around.. was medium rare but had more of that "lamb stank" than the first round. Almost unbearable to eat but I didn't want to waste the food, so I ate it. Anyways, I would say this is worth a visit. Don't think I would come again. Good enough for one experience I guess.

I came here a couple of days after valentines as a "let's celebrate after the crowds" kind of thing. My boyfriend had never been to this kind of restaurant before and it's been 10+ year's for me. It was really great! I love the national drink of Brazil (can't spell it) and they sell that little cocktail here (for a price $$). I really enjoyed their sangria!!! Then they brought out this cheesy bread... OMG. Honestly, the meat and the cheesy bread are so good, I wouldn't bother with the salad bar. I ate too much rice and was crazy full when we left! A few items I tried from the salad bar were served cold and I felt they would have tasted much better hot. The meat was super good - I enjoyed the sliced red meats the most and maybe the sausages the least. Service was great but it wasn't too busy when we were there. The boyfriend still talks about this place once a week and I just saw they have a Groupon deal right now. We will definitely be buying at least one of those.

You need to know: Look for a groupon, living social, half off depot, facebook or email newsletter deal. They seem to always have a promotion, and if you can save a chunk of cash for a nice dinner, why not? And because of this fact alone, Nelore is my favorite churrascaria in town. Is it the best? Is it the fanciest? Does it have the greatest service? Maybe not. But I can get some pretty darn good meat here for half the price of other Brazilian steakhouses. And that's a win in my world. Some tips: The grilled zucchini tastes better than it looks. Try the lamb and ask for some mint jelly. If you like your meat more well done, don't be afraid to ask your gaucho.

I was on vacation in Orlando and look for a place for dinner. This place is nothing like Fogo de chao. If you plan to spend money for Brazilian steakhouse, this is not a place for you to go. Service was terrible, The place was small and the food was okay. Four adults and one child under five, they charge a service charge for $29. That was uncalled for. I will never come back again or let my family or friends.

Great selection of meat was incredible. Food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Sit back and relax, nobody rushing you. Depending if you are drinking liquor, meal for 1 ran me $44.00 (that included 2 drinks). Very nice for a "special" occasion.

Food was delicious, the service was excellent! We were very pleased with the variety of meats and even my dad (who eats only chicken) was pleased with the variety in the salad bar. The deserts were lovely as well. It was pricey:) but that was expected considering the location and quality!

Was not impressed. Bought a groupon for my husband and I and it still cost $44 and the food was just ok.. The bacon wrapped filet was tough and didnt taste like a real filet..the meat was just ok and the salad bar was descent but the other Brazilian steak houses on international are way better! I would not recommend to any of my friends. Service was good though

As the self-admitted Groupon-addict that I am, I had to try this place out. I truly enjoyed the ambience. It's in the heart of Wjnter Park, so you can beat the location. It is very clean, has impeccable service detail, and the food had a lot of variety and was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening as did our friends that came with us. Will definitely return!

My friend Kaia got a groupon. $38 for two full dinner. Well worthy for a brazilian steakhouse. When I went , it was kind packed but not completely. It was a friday night. It surprised me. Regular price would be $75 for both people. Atmosphere: 3 /5 The place is well designed to correlate the style of food. It is almost like a wine place with contemporary bricks look. However, it seems to be a bit tight walking around the salad bar and appetizer bars. I had a hard time getting around to get the tomato basil soup because there was 2 small tables near it. If this place was packed; it would be horrible due to lack of spacing. Food 3/5: I had the following type of meat: lamb - which was nice, fresh and tender sirloin - perfectly cooked to medium rare filet mignon - was just disappointed ... overcooked and chewy and no seasoning. beef ribs- fresh amazing and very tender. However, it did lack of a bit of seasoning Parmesan Bread was to die for. It was eating hallow croissant made out of cheese. I enjoyed their salad bar and tomato basil soup. I was extremely disappointed that I did not see their homemade Hispanic sauces displayed in the salad bar. A steak without a chimuchurri sauce is not the same. Service: 4/5 - SHe was a very attentive waitress, ensured that we had our water filled, beer filled, and plates removed and clean. So groupon had the 18% tip automatically included in the bill, I added a bit more because she made sure that we were satisfy. She had roughly about 6 other tables to attend to also. Overall, I was okay with this place. There are a few things that they need to work on, however the quality of the food was good, but not great. I can see the difference between them and texas de brasil. However, they aren't as costly as texas de brasil.

Good food and decent service, but not worth the price in my opinion. Hostess was nice, so were the guys who were bringing out the meat. Server brought me iced tea, but I had to ask for the sugar. Bonus points to the first meat guy who offered us bacon wrapped chicken...we declined. He thoughtfully asked if this would be a no pork table, and when we confirmed, the sausages steered clear. They were also pretty cognizant of the cards being red or green... so two things they do better than Texas de Brazil. The meat is pretty tender, but is minimally seasoned. Flank steak seemed to have more flavor than the garlic sirloin. The top sirloin was the other standout cut of meat during the evening. I did not see any filet mignon. There was a long space of time where my card was green, but I guess I don't look like I can eat that much, so the meat sailed by to a table further back. Once it was noticed though, they spread the word and the guys all made rounds again. Unfortunately, it's a case of a small independent restaurant with stiff competition from a big powerhouse chain, and Texas de Brazil is able to provide a higher quality of meat with a larger salad bar for $25 less per person . As far as environment though, Nelore's intimate dining room and off Park Avenue location are an upgrade from I-Drive and the strip mall that houses their competition.

One of the other things that I miss about living in Orlando. Besides the fact that this restaurant resides in Winter Park, my favorite town ever, this place serves up heaps of juicy, delicious meat. I am such a meat lover, especially of pork and steaks, so this place was right up my alley. Service was always exceptional when I visited. The guys cutting the meat never seemed to mind my asking questions about what I was being shown and the waitresses and hostesses were quite attentive. I never really hit the salad bar too hard. I mean, you're there to indulge in copious amounts of meat; screw the salad bar! I have tried a few things, but I can't remember what they were as they really aren't important. Someone mentioned that the bacon wrapped chicken is a bit dry and I will have to second that. No chicken that I've had there was really my favorite as it all tended to be a bit dry in my opinion. The filets were definitely my favorites - yummy. If you're looking for a restaurant for date night and want something a little different, I definitely say give this place a try. Great food, great service, and a fantastic location.

I would echo Skip's review below about the service. Had a party of 10 and received very little attention (basically ignored) to the point that I would have left a very small tip if it wasn't already included in the check. Food was decent but not as good as Texas de Brazil.

Way Better than Texas de Brazil. The meat here is not salty at all. It is perfectly flavored that you taste the flavor of the meat, not the salt. The side bar is also a plus with a good mix of side items. The price is not bad either- $35 per person. And the last plus about this place was the amazing service we received. Definitely a fan of this place!!!!

I would give Nelore a 3.5 stars, the salad bar was okay, the bbq meat was very delicious - seasoned and cooked very well. I would of gave it 4 stars however the price for 2 is on the expensive side, $75. Even with a groupon the total bill was a little over $60.

Their steak is very dry. Service and ambiance is very pleasant. Their salad bar was my favorite part. I am part Brazilian, and this is not real Brazilian steak.

While I am not a huge fan of meat , I know that my husband loves it and this restaurant gives him a chance to indulge. Nelore is in a lovely area and we enjoy coming here. We jumped on the groupon. While it is the same vein as Texas de Brazile it is not a chain and I like that. The interior is nice, calm and woody. The size makes it intimate and nice for talking during dinner. The waitstaff is excellent, attentive and very polite and accommodating. I like the salad bar the grilled zucchini is the best. The meats are prepared very well and they bring you the temperature you request. I am a HUGE fan of their chicken sausage. This restaurant is nearly perfect, with one exception.......canned fruit in the Sangria!!!!! In Illinois, okay.....in Minnesota, okay but in Florida where fruit grows like crazy, heck I have three fruit trees in my yard....there's is no excuse for this cheesy, lazy, departure from an otherwise flawless presentation. Fresh fruit in the Sangria would be excellent:-)

Come for all-you-can-eat. That's all. Lots of food. Nice, efficient waitstaff. Very average quality and no imagination in preparation. Consider this place nothing more than an expensive version of those buffets you see advertised on TV. If your idea of a good meal is McDonald's, you will think you're in heaven when you eat at Nelore.

One of the newer additions of the Winter Park Park Ave area! It's a great one if I say so myself. My friends and I got a groupon for $75 for 4 of us which worked out great! We went on a Saturday afternoon and had an early dinner around 5pm. Place was empty and we had the finest cuts of meat any carnivore could have asked for! Service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice and quaint. I will say that the building is quite small so if the place becomes crowded than you will expect it to be jam packed and with limited area for moving around. By far my two favorites were the house special of top sirloin and the garlic steak! OMG finger licking good! Those two alone would tempt any mear mortal to return! I can't wait to try this place out again! People have been comparing this place to Texas De Brazil and I'd say that for the price discount you pay here compared to there it's definitly a good alternative. Add to the costs of driving out to I-Drive and you may find yourself a keeper for those who live in the North part of Orlando!

We got the Groupon and ventured to Winter Park for dinner with two kids...the server was very nice and the ambiance was great. They didn't seem to care if our card was flipped to green ( for more meat) or red (for no meat right now). Which i thought was kind of funny because we were the only ones there. Food was ok. We were starving and certainly filled up, but we would 't make a special trip back to this restaurant.

The salad bar is pretty nice, the service excellent (not intrusive, but not ignoring you). The pork was a little dry, the flank steak OK, but the lamb, chicken and especially the top sirloin absolutely delicious

Two things: only eat steak and beef related items don't waste belly space on salad chicken etc... Also there is always a groupon or living social or something. Don't pay full price

Excellent service. The meat came around non stop. Try the house sirloin, and for dessert the passion fruit mousse. Amazing. Wines from different countries. In the heart of winter park. OrlandoS most romantic spot.

Fellow Yelpers, One must go into this establishment expecting a boutique type version of what Texas De Brazil offers across town. If Texas De Brazil is a gas guzzling SUV, then Nelore is a compact hybrid vehicle. Keeping this analogy in mind one can go into this restaurant with a non biased expectation if you have dined at the aforementioned before. The Nelore location beats the Texas De Brazil location by a mile. This is a plus. I can have the same type of dining at a closer location to my house than International Drive. This is a monopoly which they have heretofore held in this niche in honor of sharing the premium quality of Brazilian cattle. Winter Park offers an upscale environment not seen in the "Touristville, USA " that is Texas De Brazil's location. After dinner or lunch, one can stroll down Park Avenue for some drinks, lounging, good conversation and even great desserts provided at any of the other fine establishments as well as Peterbrooke's (see my review) amazing chocolates. The interior (see my photo) is rather small, but it feels cozy. Another one up that this place has over Texas De Brazil in my opinion is that most of the staff is Brazilian. As a fellow Brazilian, I give this place a full star for such a commitment to its origins as opposed to falling prey to the pressures of multiculturalism to serve a tourist oriented clientele. This devalues the whole experience. The salad bar (see my photos) is delicious, offering a reasonable amount of Brazilian cold cuts and vegetables as well as some hot dishes (see my photos) such as the "feijoada" (just Google it). The abundance of meat puts all of history's king's feasts up until the early 20th century to shame. They wish they had a such an amount of food made possible by their clumsy mercantilistic and feudalistic systems with very little divisions of labor. One full star for true capitalism (not today's cronyism). Meat for the masses. The cuts are delicious and very tender (see all my meat photos, hah, don't get any ideas). They are well seasoned and offered at any temperature. If not, you can simply request it and they will provide it to you. This is a traditional 'rodizio' where servers dressed in "gaucho" style uniforms serve the meats in large skewers and will slice pieces of it in front of the customers upon request. The customer is essentially seeing the product before he decides he wants it on his plate. What could be better than that!? They also serve fresh baskets of "pao de queijo" or cheese bread which is a traditional Brazilian baked good that is sold anywhere in the motherland. They are however a bit stingy as our basket only came with three small pieces. Perhaps the portly server decided to snack on a few on the way to our table. It was perfectly fine though, as these were not the best I've had. Therefore, I deduct one star from this very crucial and integral part of a true Brazilian churrascaria. I have not tried their caipirinha here, but I would assume that this restaurant as well as Texas De Brazil are the two best bets for authentic caipirinhas without any type of American twist to them. Go here for a delicious meal in a cozier atmosphere than Texas De Brazil. Additionally, stroll flatulently through Park Avenue to relieve some pressure and to digest the copious amount of red meat stuck in your belly. This conclusion deserves an ending apropos to a meat coma..."Th-th-th-that's all folks!" (Porky the Pig). Valeu Galera!

I had a groupon coupon for 38.00 I have never been to Brazilian steak house.. the service was great I did not get a chance to experience all the meats as they kept roving about. yes I would go back even at 38.00 its well worth the money.

If you've never been to a Churrascaria before, just read the other reviews and you'll get the gist of it. Below is just a quick take of our experience: The best meats were the beef ribs and the top sirloin. I ate it with rice and it was amazing. I barely touched the salad bar because I didn't go to Nelore for the vegetables. The tomato bisque was very delicious. The cheese bread that comes with you meal was something I've never had before. They were like little balls of bread but inside was like a sticky rice texture that I've only come across in a Filipino dessert once. It was addictive. The creme brulee dessert was sweet and rich and yummy. Service was a little slow because they were understaffed on St. Patty's weekend. But what I really appreciated was that when I told one of the meat carvers that one of the guests only ate well done meat, it was like he told everyone else and the only pieces of meat they offered him were well done. Sometimes they would come out with fresh just out of the kitchen meat and offer it to him telling him that if he didn't take the first slices, everything else would be less than well done. it was a nice touch and I was really grateful to them because this specific guest is a pain in the ass when it comes to how his steaks are cooked. Solid 3 stars.

My family and I walked in eagerly with smiling faces, waiting to satiate our starving bellies and greedy hearts with the gluttony of meats offered. Sadly, half way down the meal, we accepted defeat and were ready to walk away since the saltiness and the sub - standard cuts of meat left a revolting taste in our mind. The concept is unique in theory; however the delivery still needs fine tuning. Well, at least I can check it out from my bucket list. Personally, I much rather buy a great cut of meat, grill it to perfection in my own kitchen than subject myself to a sleuth of cuts which at best are sub-standard in taste and quality. Make no mistakes; however, I will not be visiting another Brazilian Steakhouse for a long time.

Poor, poor, poor service. The only time our waiter came to our table was to seat us and then give us (a party of two) our total to which he added a 20% gratuity. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy either. As for the meats, there were some hits and misses. The majority of the meats I was served were extremely fatty and I ended up filling up on rice instead (which was the highlight of the place, besides the bread). I expected a lot more from a gaucho style restaurant with a premium price point but I guess I should lower my standards and head to an Arby's. At least I'd receive better service. Actually I wish I had been at an Arby's 'cause there's better food and cooler people there!

This place does not compare at all to Texas De Brazil. First, the salad bar is a fraction of the size and therefor a fraction of the food selections. The meat is good, but then again the selection is not as good. Service is nothing to brag about. If you want to experience a good Brazilian restaurant of this kind, drive down to IDrive.

This was my first Brazilian Steakhouse experience and it was a really positive one! I had heard about them quite a bit but never got to experience it. We had a group of 8 and about half of us had been to one in the past. The waiters were very good at explaining how it was all going to work. The salad bar was rather large and had a great selection and great tasting food! I could not believe how fast they came out with the meat. Since it was not all that busy, we seemed to get every one of the meat guys at our table at once. My plate was filled very quickly. The Parmesan crusted pork loin was amazing. Definitely my favorite. The other favorites were the Flank Steak and the Top Sirloin. I was not a huge fan of the Garlic Steak but everyone else at the table loved it. The ribs were also a little overdone. I did not try the sausage or chicken. Otherwise, the rest was great! They had very good service and very good food. I would definitely come back again when in the area!

We went to Nelore for our Anniversary and we were not disappointed. Meat, meat, Meat. Oh wait, They do have a salad bar. Get a little bit of salad to cut all the meat you are about to consume. Don't bother with any of the rice or potato fillers. Just get lettuce and a few toppings. The house specialty and the Top sirloin were perfection. Cooked perfectly, sliced perfectly and perfectly delicious. Also good was the bacon wrapped filet and the bacon wrapped chicken. They do have lamb and pork - I am not a lamb fan so I did not try it. I was not a fan of the garlic steak. Keep your disc on green and the meat just keeps coming. Waiters are not pushy and very nice. They are cutting off a spit, so expect to use your tongs to grab your meat and get it to your plate. Turn your disc over to red and the meat will stop until you return to the green side. My husband and I went Friday night because we got the groupon deal and we love it!, everything tasted so good! and the 'gauchos' kept coming back with meat, chicken, sausage, pork, a lot of different variations of meat, etc. the salad bar was plenty for us... and the bread OMG its delicious! stuffed with 'yucca and cheese'. The service was excellent, I do agree that the salad bar space is tight and the cocktail drinks are pricey. The desserts... you must try the papaya house special is great and the flan!! For the food, location and service it is well worth the price... just don't have alcohol, lol:)

Took my mom here this past weekend for dinner and we spent the whole night laughing..."so why only 2 stars", we were laughing at the food and service. Sometimes are so ridiculous that you laugh or you get mad, we chose to laugh. To start we were seated by the bar but never given a plate. Gauchos kept coming by and noticing we didn't have plates so they'd leave. We finally flagged our server down and here started the laughter. Most of the meat I we were served was rare. I'd slice the meat to eat and out came the blood, which caused my mom to gag and had her nauseous the whole meal. Her face was hilarious. Their chicken was marinated in a Tabasco-y not spicy marinade which had me gagging...here started her laughter. I guess after a certain time they stop seating people in our section so the gauchos also stopped coming. What we had was ok. I didn't mind the meat, the only thing I can honestly say I dislikes was their chicken, but it wasn't flavorful nor something I'd come back for. No one offered to cook the meat a little more for my mother like they've done at "other" Brazilian Steak houses...Overall the Food was a 3 and Service was a 2. Not going back unless I'm looking for a laugh.

I would give it 5 stars but I don't really have anything to compare it to as far as churrasquaria's go. Also, the service is always semi-bad/slow. It's a smaller restaurant so you can have a decent wait on the weekends but the food is always consistent and they have a good choice of meats. The salad/extras bar is well stocked and the rice and beans are always good too.

If you like Brazilian steakhouses you'll like this place. I hate to compare, but its a smaller size version of Texas de Brazil. Which i love. And by small i mean its more intimate, they STILL have just as much meats coming out of the back. Great meats, the only one i was dissapointed with was the lamb. surprised it just didn't taste right. The salad bar is pretty small, but to be honest i go to eat a cows worth of meat and not a freaking cesear salad or other things. I like the place alot, i'm going again in about two weeks. Still a pricey place, but they've been having lots of deals on different daily deal type websites, so DEF worth snagging if you see one. MOOO!- sorry, just wanted to emphasize the cow.

Just delicious! First time for me and I was impressed! The flank steak and top sirloin were my favorite. The ribeye was great as well, but did not come around except once. The salad bar was huge and delicious and I love all the different cheeses they had, but like in previous reviews, be careful because you'll fill up quickly! I thought the servers were on task and pleasant. Would definitely go back again!

I've been here once, and can't wait to go again! They often have great deals with Groupon, so be sure to take advantage when they are available. Groupon or no, this place is still worth it! All the meats I tried were sooooo good! My favorite was the garlic steak. I also had quite a lot of items off the salad/side bar- the salmon was delicious! My group had great service, probably because we were the first to arrive for that Saturday evening's service getting there early at 5pm. More people came, of course! If you like more attention from your waiters and/or a quieter restaurant, then I suggest going early. We also got the first cut of everything for the night, so super fresh! There is a vegetarian option, at a lower price, so they do cater to different needs and preferences. Find a favorite meat? Just ask for it, and they will bring it! Just remember to go very hungry and ready to be stuffed after! YUM!

Just ok. Salad bar could have more variety. Meats were good, but not fantastic. Service was good. Overall, it was not worth the money to me.

We've eaten at Nelore twice now. We were taken out by friends the first time and the second time with a groupon. Unfortunately, the only way we would go again is with another groupon or free dinner. The ambience is great, right in the heart of Winter Park, small and intimate. However, the food is less than stellar. The only thing I really liked was the Top Sirloin Picanha. None of the other meat impressed me at all, in fact, most of it was so dry as to be almost inedible. The 'salad' bar was just ok and none of the offerings were anything special. However, the Pao de Queijo (cheese bread) was some of the best and they were very generous with it. If you can find a groupon, give them a try for yourselves. Otherwise, it's not worth the price in our opinion.

We tried this place out after purchasing a Living Social deal. I'd been to other Brazilian churrascaria houses before and wanted to try this one. There wasn't a whole lot special about it. We visited the salad bar first. It was fairly sparse, but a few good items on there. The tomatoes were fresh, the greek-style salad was tasty. The caprese salad was decent. The tomato bisque soup was not warm enough, same with the mashed potatoes. They had some more upscale items - artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, asparagus, smoked salmon - but I don't care much for those foods so I passed them up. We all know why you go to the rodizio - THE MEATS! Once we got the meats flowin', they came to the table at a rapid pace. There was a wide range of meats - some were delicious, others - not so much. One of my favorites was the picanha (house special) sirloin. It was flavorful and tender. We got several servings of this one. I also really enjoyed the parmesan pork - juicy and tasty. The flank steak was good... thick cuts with a texture like pot roast. The pork ribs were done with a dry sauce. They were flavorful. The bacon-wrapped chicken breast was decent. The meats I did NOT care for: Garlic beef was TOO garlicky, too well-done, too fatty. The bacon-wrapped filet mignon was disappointing. It had a funny taste to it that we couldn't quite place... as if the bacon overwhelmed the flavor of the steak. The sausages were very dry and WAY too salty. I'm not a big fan of lamb, but I tried it anyway - and didn't care for it much. The top sirloin was described as medium-rare by the gaucho who brought it to our table... but it was VERY rare and bloody in the center. I ate only the outer areas. Overall, I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, but it wasn't great or memorable either. I probably wouldn't go back... definitely not at full price. I left feeling like I COULD have eaten more, but didn't want to... and that's not really how you should leave a Brazilian Steakhouse that you're paying close to $40 per person for. I expected more for Winter Park. I had a better experience at Texas de Brasil on I-Drive.

I recently had my first experience at a Brazilian Steakhouse at Nelore Churrascaria and I have to say, it couldn't have been better! To begin, I had heard the hype of Brazilian Steakhouses, but had never gone to one and had no idea what to expect. The concept itself is unique and is highly differentiated from other Steakhouses. Once you are seated and place your desired drink orders, you can go to the salad bar, acquire your plate, and pick from a variety of side dishes buffet style before sitting back down. This is where the excitement begins. Once you have seated yourself with a plate, and have flipped over the paper coin with the "Yes Please" side up, servers with numerous varieties of meat and different cuts will pass by your table and inform you of what they have to offer and if you would like a slice. Best part, you get to pick how well done you want your cut and the servers are incredibly friendly and helpful! After experiencing this "meat gauntlet" having sampled a diverse selection of meats and numerous cuts, such as; excellently seared Rib Eye, to an amazingly flavorful and tender Flank Stake, you will be left fully satiated. One thing to keep in mind, Nelore Churrascaria is very fast paced. While it is very easy to still carry out a meaningful dinner conversation and enjoy a relaxed evening, once you adjust to the atmosphere, it is very easy to be overwhelmed by the Brazilian Steak House concept of service, which directly challenges all of our conventional dining experience to date. Overall, I highly recommend Nelore Churrascaria. Every cut of meat I had was perfectly cooked and was bursting with a complimenting flavor profile. You won't need to add any steak sauce to these cuts!

We went here for dinner and used a Groupon. Service was slow, the waitress was very inattentive (at one point we waited at least 20 minutes with our dirty plates in front of us, no one would come by to take them away). They charged us the full price for our dinner even though they had our Groupon in hand the moment we came in. We had to point it out and they fixed it. The food was decent enough, but through all of the sloppy service it was hard to truly pay attention to it. Haven't been back since then.

I was so disappointed. I went early this evening craving the filet and beef rib, which are my favorite two cuts from a Brazilian steakhouse. The wait was almost 30 minutes for the beef rib, I was the only person in the whole place and the cut the served me was all cut up, dry, and tasted like it was warmed up from the night before. I really Iced this place at one time. I was so disappointed in the quality of the meat. I do not plan tom go back at all.

Our first time at this steakhouse. We went with friends who are regulars and they highly recommend it! We went on a wed night so it wasnt very busy. Our server was very attentive and friendly! Nice salad bar with many tasty choices but be careful, dont fill up! The meats were good and plentiful. they were very accommodating with cutting us rare or well done slices. The ribs and garlic steak were my fav! My friends are a huge fan of the Lamb. There is not much parking but there is a free parking garage across the street. At least its free during the week, not sure about the weekend. To all you ladies out there that want to wear a nice pair of heels like i did, beware the floors are slippery! Over all good experience and will def come back!

Nelore is one of several Brazillian Steakhouses in Orlando. Personally, I like Nelore better than Texas de Brazil as Nelore is out of the tourist area, is a family run restaurant (which is nearly impossible to find in Orlando), and the food is great. They have a very nice "salad bar" with all types of great things that often vary. Don't fill up - because the Rodizio is going to come out! The food at Nelore is a step above the other chains. They often run specials. Sign up on their website for their e-mail blasts. On weekends, they are often running specials, so check it out!

Going to Nelore Churrascaria turned out to be a very pleasant evening out. The server was attentive, and went out of his way to take care of us. The salad bar was a bit sparse, but one goes to this kind of restaurant for the meat in the first place. The meat selections were varied and certainly plentiful. In fact there were times I had to stop the service simply because there was too much on my plate, and I needed to catch up! The house special sirloin was the best of the lot, followed closely by the Parmesan encrusted pork. My only real complaint was that soft drinks are sold in individual small bottles at $3 a bottle.

Had a deal for Nelore through Half Off Depot's clearance sale. The voucher cost me $15. Our meal for two, with one soda came out to $25 plus tip. I don't think I will be in a rush to go back. The meat was good, obviously plentiful. It just was hard to tell the difference between some of the cuts. Many were extremely salty. I think some seasoning would do to help the feeling of an endless, undistinguishable meat tsunami you feel you're trying to battle. I recognize that perhaps a coffee-rub or other seasonings may not be true to the Brazilian steakhouse tradition but I think it's really hard for this little guy to stand up to Texas de Brazil when pricing (without deals) is about the same. The one thing this place really has going for it is its location on Park Ave, which makes for a much nicer date night than I-Drive. The tomato soup may have been my favorite part of this meal. The mashed potatoes were absolutely terrible and pasta salads were all forgettable, at best. The cheese bread they bring to your table is outstanding, however. I wish they had brought it to us sooner, rather than towards the end of our meal. The service was spotty. Obviously, the guys with the skewers were attentive, according to the system. But the table service was only so-so. Side gripe: coke in glass bottles? $3 or whatever it was to quench my thirst with some carbonation after all the salt? Not buying it... All in all, fair for what we paid for it. I'm not sure whether the quality/taste of the meats was what left me feeling ambivalent or whether I just don't really care for the Brazilian steakhouse genre. I love meat as much as the next girl, but I felt underwhelmed when we left here.

Food was really five stars .

Ok, its a decent Brazilian steakhouse and the food (for the most part) was quite good. It has standard Brazilian steakhouse fare and style, but the price is quite high. Around $40 for dinner (just for the food, and not including dessert or anything other than the meat and the salad bar). The biggest problem I had here, and it is a HUGE problem is a seeming dishonesty with the operation. CHECK YOUR BILL....TWICE. They added drinks that we never ordered to the tab, and worst of all, they were over charging us for each glass of wine that was ordered (charging different than what was listed on the wine list). It wasn't necessarily about the $1.25 extra per glass, the problem is that their computer system had a different price than the menu. When we asked one of the waiters about this and I explained that this was quite dishonest and obviously they were overcharging everyone that ordered the house wine for who know how long, he replied that they "just changed the wine list and didn't update the computer yet, and that they were doing it right now, as we spoke). Convenient, and yes it is possible that they just changed the wine list, but from the overall feeling of the night (no prices on the dessert menu, which makes one think that it may be included, as well as some other small strange things), I get the impression that if they changed their wine list and put a more expensive wine as the house, I am sure that change would have been made immediately, though since it was in their favor to not update it immediately, I take it they weren't in any rush to change the computer's price. After a good meal, this left a very bad taste in my mouth. And I am not so sure I can go back to a place that I feel inherently is somehow trying to cheat their patrons.

Mediocre at best. I have to say if you are really looking to experience a Brazilian Steakhouse you might want to go somewhere else,m unfortunately we don't have other places near by , the closest is Texas de Brazil which is just phenomenal. The salad bar at Nelore is limited and does not include too many "hot cooked " or exotic items that you would expect from a Brazilian Steakhouse. The meat was rather salty , Im guessing perhaps the meat tenderizer they use causes that. Service was ok but not impressive, and for the ambiance ,well, it truly is just a big room with lots of tables. If this is your first time at this type of restaurant it night be ok , but if you are a Brazilian steakhouse lover you will sure go somewhere else. Sorry but this restaurant does not meet the standards for good food and ambiance on Park Ave.

if there was anything less than one star i would give it. i bought a groupon for Nelore and still felt cheated from my experience. The only saving grace for the entire place is the waiter named Fabio. The Bartender, distant unfriendly, not helpful ignored request for wine list like we werent even there. Martinis watered down infront of us, wine was good at a decent price. The wait staff sat dirty dishes on the end of the bar infront of us not once but twice and when i asked her to move them she suggested we move instead. You could not tell at all who the manager was., in fact when we asked the waiter and he pointed him out i was shcoked that this person was the actual manager. The food. salad bar not bad, however not good. many run of the mill items on it artichokes fresh out the can. However the black beans were delicious. The meats we had were good but there just didnt seem to be a huge variety i dont know how many they say they have but we had, lamb, chicken (2 types) filet, beef ribs, house special beef and flank steak. the dishes. The wine glasses were spotty and filthy so much so that the bartender had to throw out the first glass of wine and clean the glass himself. The plates, were covered in a gritty substance and i had to ask them to clean me a plate i felt horrified watching others eat off these grit covered plates. Fabio did bring my sister dessert since it was her birthday. Had reservation got there on time wait for a table for 30 minutes before the offered a table right smack in the middle of the entrance, NO WAY! Called Hillstones from Nelores bar and the wait was forty mins so decided to stay here. My experince this past Saturday night sour me on this restaurant. I would rather drive to Texas De brazil before coming here again. i wish i had my money back from the Groupon, The concept is good it just needs to be executed more professionally by a TRAINED staff and managers. I eat out often, from the low end to the high end of the spectrum, truly a disappointment for what should have been a special night

I am by no means an expert on Brazillian steakhouses or rodezios, in fact I've only ever been to one other down in South Florida (Chima). So my review is mostly based on face value rather than comparison to Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chao. It's a small, intimate place. Maybe 20 tables, nice little bar. The salad bar is small but well packed and there's a small station in the middle for hot side dishes and a soup of the day. They have an extensive wine and liquor menu. I've always made reservations, as they suggest to do, but I've never seen it more than half full. Granted I've never been on a weekend evening, only during the week, so that may have something to do with it. That being said, if you decide to try it on a whim but worry you don't have a reservation, don't let that put you off, there's likely to be room. As I said, the salad bar is a bit smaller from what most people describe at other places in Orlando, but it's always fresh and well stocked. They have lettuce and dressing, plus various types of marinated veggies, cured meats, cheeses, roasted veggies, different types of mixed salads (potato, honey mustard chicken, chickpea, etc.), and some ceviches. Your table is provided with an endless supply of those light, airy and cheezy popover rolls. The hot sides are the standards, mashed potatoes, black beans (tasty!) and rice, plantains. The soup of the day changes daily, but I can totally vouch for their cream of broccoli - on point! As for the meats, the service can be a bit slow - the last time I was there they had 2 guys doing the rounds. But I find that helps with pacing of your meal so you don't gorge yourself on too much meat at once. The selections are your standard faire: Bacon-wrapped filet mignion or chicken Parmesan pork (my favorite pick) Parmesan beef Flank steak Leg of lamb (second favorite) Chicken legs marinated in beer (third favorite) Picquina (the C shaped chunks of beef) Pork ribs Beef ribs Chicken sausages I'm probably missing a few. The flank steak seems to come around most often but sadly had the least flavor of all the cuts. You can always ask for a particular cut if you don't want to wait. The servers are very attentive and helpful, and the atmosphere is quite nice and intimate, great place for a date night or special birthday. I have to give them props on their customer incentives - sign up for their mailing list, because they do specials off the regular $39.99 price all the time, plus drink specials and such. And if you put down your address and birthday they mail you a birthday card on the first month of your birth month that's good for a free dinner! Bonus to that - you get a free slice of a decadent chocolate mousse cake! So all in all, great experience, and if the price is a bit much (it shouldn't be, considering other places go for $50 and up), wait for an e-mail special about pricing or watch Groupon because they do deals there regularly. I go here every so often when I want to do a special treat.

Came across this restaurant on Groupon and decided to give it a shot because of the deal I was getting (or so I thought). Do yourself a favor and do not make the same mistake I made!!! If you are considering eating here for a special occasion, just don't. My boyfriend and I came to celebrate his birthday last night and we were so excited because it's located in a great area and even looks pretty decent inside. We are huge fans of Texas de Brazil but we wanted to try something new. First of all, this place does not even come anywhere NEAR Texas de Brazil. So you can understand my confusion and frustration when I realized that it literally costs $40 a person (close enough to the price per person at Texas de Brazil) for food I could probably get at Golden Corral. Just being honest. I have no problem whatsoever paying top dollar for a good meal, and obviously steak is worth it. Not the steak at Nelore. Not at all. Not even close. We tried the meat and disliked everything but the filet mignon. But we were so hungry that we doubled up on the salad bar, which was quite pitiful and again, nothing compared to Texas de Brazil. Why the heck didn't we just go where we always go?!? But guys, the food wasn't the only thing that didn't hit the mark here. Our server.. Heck I couldn't tell you here name because we didn't see her too often. Short-haired blond girl, barely spoke to us. But she had a lovely conversation with the couple behind us about Nelore being better than Texas de Brazil because it has a more intimate setting. Any restaurant can dim the lights and call it an intimate setting. In a room full of people of Texas de Brazil I still feel completely close to the person I'm dining with and I feel confident in the QUALITY food I'm paying for and happy with the exceptional service. When I'm paying $80+(after the groupon and of course the $15 service fee they tacked on that nooooo one deserved) for an awful meal, I at least expect you to pay a little more attention. I shouldn't have to stop a gaucho and ask him for the check. Just a suggestion, maybe the gauchos should be servers. They were polite and attentive. All in all, I am totally regretting the decision I made to drive 40 minutes to try out a new churrascaria. I would've gladly saved the money and ordered Chinese takeout if I'd known it was going to be so bad. Nelore, you definitely need to step your game up and work with your servers to pay attention to allllll of their guests. We are all paying (a ridiculous amount) to eat your food and we all deserve to be waited on and shown some attention. It's the least you can do after the major upset of the food.

Picked up a Groupon for the full dinner. Delicious! Come hungry, because there is so much food. Liked the music and the decor. Due to price, it's probably more of a special occasion place than a regular dining spot.

Nice little place for a party of two. Not much room for large groups. Full bar. Very nice bar area. Staff was pleasant. They give you a little card to indicate when to you want meat and when you dont. Green is go... and it's a go. They come so fast and frequent you need to turn to red very quickly. Best salad bar I have ever been to. Fav. item on the salad bar: coos coos. Most meats were good tasting. The steaks were good, the pork had no flavor and was too dry. Overall good experience. Would recommend to go at least once. Really wouldn't go again because you can have this same experience at other places.

This is a nice intimate Brazilian steakhouse. I went to check this place out since it was featured in OrlandoWeekly's Restaurant Week. The main issue I had is that every piece of meat that I ate was too salty. It felt like I was on a sodium high. Adding some of their side dishes didn't even help at all. Their salad bar is also a tad small, and not the best selections to choose from either.

Staff was super attentive and polite! The drinks were plentiful and delicious! Definitely a gem... Just about everything was delicious! The lamb had a great flavor but was a bit dry. The best choices were the garlic steak, flank steak and the bacon wrapped chicken. A few of the meats were a bit salty. The salad bar had some nice choices. The mashed potatoes were real potatoes with a lot of tasty chunks! Will come back when in the area!

Great place. As with any Brazilian style Rodizio (or steakhouse) the more people that are dinning, the less attention / rotation of cuts you will get. If you go during the week, is not only cheaper, but a lot better, quieter and fulfilling. The meats are of excellent quality, and selection. The sides are phenomenal too, it is a small restaurant though so space is tricky going thru tables and people to the buffet side, but then again - YOU'RE NOT THERE FOR THE SIDES!!! you need to steer clear off those and eat as much meat as possible. They offer a "prime sirloin" cut which is one of the most amazing cuts of meat i've had. They do season their beef heavily, or should i say heavenly. So expect salt and high amounts of sodium. This is not a place to stick to your diet, or bring your vegan friends. This is a carnivore's paradise where you awaken every single of your carnivore instincts, in the most primitive, blood thirsty ways. I took out one star because they don't offer a wheel chair services to the parking lot - which is a must after eating all that meat.

We visited Nelore Steakhouse after purchasing a Groupon offer which included two full Rodizio dinners, two deserts, and a bottle of red wine for $30. It was a great offer and so we planned on visiting for a family member's birthday. Based on feedback I'd read, we decided to make advance reservations, even though it was for 6:30 p.m. on a Tuesday evening. Reservations are available through OpenTable and were very easy to make over the phone. We were seated immediately at a table closest to the front of the restaurant, and about as far from the kitchen as possible. Our initial thought was that we would have trouble with the Gauchos visiting us, which turned out to be furthest from the truth. There were only two other tables seated, a two- and a four-top when we arrived. When we left, the same four-top was there, and two new two-tops and a single were enjoying their meals leaving more than 75 percent of the restaurant available at about 8:15 p.m. Of course we started with the salad bar, which included many grilled then chilled vegetables, plus soup and several side items including awesome black beans and white rice, and garlic mashed potatoes. The waitress was incredibly attentive and friendly. She provided us with the selection of wines and chose a fantastic Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignon. When it came time for the main course of the rotisserie meats, the Gauchos were very frequent with various cuts of meat and followed the green/red marker perfectly. The highlights included garlic beef, filet mignon wrapped in bacon, and Picanha, marketed as the house special. I'm not sure the lamb ever made it by our table, but we were very happy with our selections that did visit us. After proving ourselves true carnivores, we stopped in time and to save room for dessert. We enjoyed the flan and creme brule, both were done very well. Having only been to a Brazilian-style steakhouse once before in a very non-traditional setting, my expectations were somewhere between that experience and Texas de Brazil, and I can honestly say we were far from disappointed. Everything exceeded our expectations and we've decided this will be a marked place for future visits to enjoy the finer meats of life. I would highly recommend Nelore for small parties of guests who are looking for a modern but subdued setting. Had I heard of Nelore prior to the Groupon offer and had attended without promotional motivation, I think I would have been just as satisfied.

Generous with the good cuts! Almost every piece of meat was good, and a few (beef ribs, filet, flank, and prime sirloin) were very good. The meat servers were frequent with all cuts. The salad bar was OK, and the breads/fried bananas were good. They have a very nice bar, and great bartenders. I highly recommend their house cocktail (can't remember the name of it). The service was great, and I expect to return soon. P.S. if you go to their website and sign up for their mailing list you'll receive a coupon for 15% off.

ehn, ok, there's nothing wrong with the food here, but for the price you can get a much better meal elsewhere. We went because my wife had a coupon for about 50% a dinner for two. I'm not usually a fan of all you can eat, but once in a while it's good to indulge. Like Brazilian steakhouses, the waiters come around with skewers of meat and you choose what you want. sausage was very good and there were several cuts of steak that ranged from just ok to very good. The parmasean crusted pork was good as well as the pork ribs. As others have pointed out, the ongoing theme is salt. while most everything was good, the salt overwhelmed the natural taste o everything. The salad bar was ok, but nothing special. Many of the items weren't even labeled, a peeve of mine. But the cheeses they offered were top notch. My wife got a pino noir and she said she wanted to gulp it down, it was so good. For dessert, they were out of their specialty. That seemed odd as we dined fairly early. Instead we shared a passionfruit mousse. Very good, but as I ate it I couldn't help thinking, do we really need dessert after we just devoured an entire cow. My suggestion: if you have a coupon, it's worth a go. Otherwise you will pay about $100 per couple and there are just too many restaurant here that will give you outstanding food for that price.

Okay. Let's start with a general impression here. You're walking down the street in yuppie land downtown Winter Park, and you see a sign for a "sushi bar", when you are looking for a Brazilian Steakhouse. That was confusing to begin. My date and I made a reservation online, which was lovely and convenient. However, it would not let us schedule one that was less than two hours away, although there was only one other table when we got there at 9:15. I am not sure why I could not get a reservation for 8:30. So, after figuring out that the "sushi bar" sign was put there to confuse us, we went inside and were greeted and had to wait a few minutes for our table even though all but one of the tables were empty. I thought tables were supposed to be ready for you when you made a reservation? So, lets start to talk about service here. Our server spoke very quickly and was hard to hear and understand over the TELEVISIONS in the dining room and the fact that the rest of the servers were moving around tables, rolling silver and dropping glasses. We arrive 45 minutes before closing time, and the entire ambience of our meal was sacrificed by the fact that the servers wanted to go home early. Even though we paid the same amount as someone who came in at 7pm, we were not treated that way. After ordering our wine, the server corrected me on my pronunciation of Pinot Noir, my favorite red wine and did so in a very snippy and snobby way. The wine was good, but terribly overpriced at 7.50 a glass for an 11 dollar bottle of wine you can find at a gas station. Before the gaucho came out with the meat skewers, we started with the salad bar, which was not bad. My only real complaint about that is that the mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant. They were gritty and had a very artificial taste to them. I can make better ones at home, and I was not impressed. There was not a huge selection of vegetables either. While we were eating I heard at least three glasses being dropped, at different times. I also could hear every word of the conversation the staff was having in the back section of the restaurant. I heard them cursing as well as using racial slurs such as the " n word". I was terribly offended, and so was my date. While the meat they served was tasty, I feel like I would have had a better dining experience at Denny's. Save your money for somewhere else.

Having been to the "other" Brazillian steakhouse on I-Drive numerous times, I was eager to try this one. It's closer to home and it didn't hurt that I had a Groupon for it. Made a reservation for a Tuesday night, totally not necessary! However, we walked in and they immediately sat us down and offered a drink. We were waiting on another couple, so we ordered a beer. Once the rest of our party came, they were offered drinks also, and then it was off to the races. The salad bar was ok, they need a little less of the froo froo stuff and some normal items. My husband who is not as adventerous with his eating literally had lettuce and ranch on his plate! Once we flipped our cards to green, they came really quickly with the meat. There wasn't that many people there so I was concerned that the meat would not be as good, however it was. It was all very hot and very flavorful. I did think it was less salty than other places. I think my favorite was the Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon and the Garlic Mignon. Everything I tried was really good. They were a little messy with getting the meat off the skewers though, a couple of times, the meat almost fell to the floor. All in all, good experience and good service!

This retaurants is wonderful. They have a variety of side items to go with the massive amount of meat. Tip: Pace yourself! They will walk around with tons of meat and put it on your plate and you will be tempted to take all the meat right away but wait. If you don't wait the meat will get cold, you will feel disappointed in yourself, and your meal will be over in ten minutes.

The lunch buffet RULES! For $9.95, you get a diverse salad bar and hot bar. The buffet at Nelore puts places like Sweet Tomatoes to shame. There are a ton of cooked vegetable sides as well as meat options! Among the latter includes the best chicken salad I've ever had. Large, tender chunk of white chicken mixed without gobs of mayo. It's probably the most healthy and tasty you'll get in town. There is also a delightful little tuna salad if that's your bag. Some of the vegetable sides I tried were a thick, sliced eggplant with a garden veggie pico mix, zucchini, bean salad, and more. Make your own salad with spring mix, romaine and/or arugula! Hot bar options included black beans, mashed potatoes, and brazilian rice. The tomato bisque is heavenly! A few cheese options including Gouda and a white cheddar(?) with dill. If you aren't satisfied with the buffet, you can add a meat side for $5 or more dollars, and they bring you a skewer of fresh grilled meat. In the evening, they do the traditional Churrasco style dinner, similar to Texas de Brasil. I think it runs about $35 or so, but you get to try 15 different grilled meats. If you're a meat lover this may be a good option for you.

I had the pleasure of eating at Nelore on Valentine's Day. Wow - the new location is even better than the original location on International Drive! (And that location was great too!) Their buffet is a bit smaller than the original location, but the food is delicious. They have a good variety (in smaller quantities), and keep the food filled up pretty well. I really enjoyed the roasted vegetables, marinated mushrooms and salad. I think they make their salad dressings in-house. They were delicious. For dinner, we had the traditional meal with the gauchos bringing the meat around. There were so many different kinds! Our favorites were the filet mignon (which literally melted in your mouth), sirloin, house sirloin (they were two different cuts), and parmesan pork. They had other items like sausage, chicken legs, chicken wrapped in bacon, garlic steak, leg of lamb, lamb chops, pork ribs and beef ribs. The food was delicious, the drinks were great (you have to try the Caipirinha)! Our server was good, although she was a tad bit rusty as it was only her third day. (But she really did try!) The maitre'd came to the table to ensure that everything was good, and asked us if we enjoyed our meal. She reminded us that they are open for lunch (and their lunch prices are great - the buffet is only $9.95, and you can order meat on the side if you'd like). I'll definitely be back!! It was DELICIOUS! PS - don't miss out on the fried bananas!! And ask for more! :-)

(4)Kathy S.
(3)Leslie S.
(5)Rose A.
(4)J A.
Got the groupon. It's a rip off. They charge a huge service charge. Basically went from a $60 night to a $100 because of that. Total rip.
(3)Lorraine H.

(2)Sharon R.

Very disappointed:(
(2)Carlos G.
Outstanding. The best Brazilian steakhouse jn Orlando, it is authentic and compared to others on international drive this one wins hands down. We come here a lot. Sever Matt is a charm and made the evening very exciting. Can't wait to go back.
(5)Carlos A S.
Being able to just go and eat even if by yourself and enjoy the great selection of meat is incredible.
(5)Stu L.
Small compared to Fogo. Took some friends there and was hoping for a Fogo experience but we were disappointed. Got the bill and was mad. Should have went to Fogo.
(2)Andrea B.

(2)Kris E.
(2)Becky F.
Went with group. The atmosphere was lovely. Only draw back was having to ask server two times for my drink. Other than that the food was outstanding. The rest of time serve of meat items was great. All the members were well fed and already talking about next visit. Make sure you go with large appetite. Enjoy.
(5)Kendra Y.
(5)Leighton L.
This place was decent. They have lots of options of meat. Some lacked flavor, some had flavor and some were way too salty. The place was pretty empty and they told a couple they couldn't sit them. Made no sense because it was empty.
(2)K R.
(3)Fred B.
Great lunch special. Fabulous salad bar, Brazilian steakhouse, Tomatoe bisque and melt in your mouth puff rolls. Great service and televisions mounted for a great view of the World Cup. Much better quality and value than at a Sports Bar.
(5)Jayne R.
price a little steep but food and atmosphere very good. Lots of fresh food on buffett and pleanty of meats to choose from.
(3)Marc K.
(2)Carlos C.
(4)Brynson S.
This is one of my favorite winter park food spots. Located off park ave. if you like Brazilian steakhouses, then you will enjoy the food. Quality is close to fogo, Fairly priced, look for their groupons
(4)Jen N.
Love this place!! Didn't have reservations but they squeezed my bf and I in without a fuss! The food was delish and so was the sangria
(5)Bobby S.
Wow nice place to eat meat. the lamb was excellent the garlic sirloin was so flavorful nice cozy spot and oh yes the pan con queso was delicious
(4)Keith B.
(3)Beau A.
(4)Michael V.
(4)Wan H.
The food was pretty good but they need to do something about that slippery floor. Nearly witnessed a shoulder stabbing from the guy with the flank steak.
(4)Joshua M.

If you like Churrascarias, this is a good one! The tomato bisque was fantastic. My husband loved the Feijoada!!! The meat was plentiful and kept on coming! The place is adorable and the staff was awesome! We will definitely be back!
(4)Nathan V.
This place is awesome. The service is great and the meat is even better. If you don't mind the price then nelore is for you! The only issue I had was trying to make a reservation, they clearly lost it, but gave us a table anyway.
(4)Mike H.

(3)Alex M.
Very high priced for substandard food quality. We have been to numerous "Brazilian" style steakhouses and Nelore is one to skip by. Food quality was mediocre, small salad bar with very limited selection. The only thing over the top was the price! We will not return.
(2)Brian T.

(2)Chris R.
it looks like they aren't open for lunch on weekdays anymore.

(2)Zac C.

(4)Ryan G.
(5)Travis D.
(1)Aranya B.
(4)Bryan M.
Food is mediocre for the price... only reason I gave a 3 is because the service was superior... didn't get a salad because gnats were all up in it
(3)Ananda L.
Had a great time as always. My favorite is the house special. Ask for chimichurri on the side for the stake!
(5)Gerald H.

(4)Elisha P.

(1)Chris W.
Great selection of meat was incredible. Food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Sit back and relax, nobody rushing you. Depending if you are drinking liquor, meal for 1 ran me $44.00 (that included 2 drinks). Very nice for a "special" occasion.
(5)Cori G.
Food was delicious, the service was excellent! We were very pleased with the variety of meats and even my dad (who eats only chicken) was pleased with the variety in the salad bar. The deserts were lovely as well. It was pricey:) but that was expected considering the location and quality!
(5)Laura L.
(2)M. Isabel M.
(4)Michael W.
(3)Abi M.

(5)Jon L.
I would echo Skip's review below about the service. Had a party of 10 and received very little attention (basically ignored) to the point that I would have left a very small tip if it wasn't already included in the check. Food was decent but not as good as Texas de Brazil.
(2)Shannon C.
(4)Peter C.
I would give Nelore a 3.5 stars, the salad bar was okay, the bbq meat was very delicious - seasoned and cooked very well. I would of gave it 4 stars however the price for 2 is on the expensive side, $75. Even with a groupon the total bill was a little over $60.
(3)Sarah N.
Their steak is very dry. Service and ambiance is very pleasant. Their salad bar was my favorite part. I am part Brazilian, and this is not real Brazilian steak.
(2)Jen L.
My first time at a place like this. Had a groupon deal and it was worth it! Sangria was delicious! Great place with endless options to choose from :) you will leave very full.
(5)Angel I.
I think I would have rated this higher if I hadn't already been to Texas de brazil to compare it against. It's good food but not as large of a selection or as good of service.
(3)india r.
(4)roaches F.
(2)Joe K.
(4)Wags W.
(3)Ioana E.
The salad bar is pretty nice, the service excellent (not intrusive, but not ignoring you). The pork was a little dry, the flank steak OK, but the lamb, chicken and especially the top sirloin absolutely delicious
(4)Joseph M.
Two things: only eat steak and beef related items don't waste belly space on salad chicken etc... Also there is always a groupon or living social or something. Don't pay full price
(3)Bill B.
I came here on a business dinner. Have been by here many times, first time in. Pleantly surprised. Good menu, good buffet, good meat options they cut at the table. Everything tasted great, the atmosphere is good, the staff good. Give it a shot!
(4)Kabe G.
Good service with a nice atmosphere. Food was good but a bit salty. They also have a nice salad bar.
(4)A. M.
Super delicious place with a very extensive salad bar to accompany the good selection of meats. Our server was very friendly and we had a great meal. In our local area we have a Texas de Brazil and this place was much better.
(4)Ms Fabulous Jay R.
Excellent service. The meat came around non stop. Try the house sirloin, and for dessert the passion fruit mousse. Amazing. Wines from different countries. In the heart of winter park. OrlandoS most romantic spot.
(4)David K.

Even my husband got his fill.

(2)Doug W.
(4)Mike S.
(4)Dana L.
(4)Michelle M.
YUM!
(4)Iryna S.
Just ok. Salad bar could have more variety. Meats were good, but not fantastic. Service was good. Overall, it was not worth the money to me.
(3)Angela B.

Lovely place in trendy Winter Park. Great selection of meats cooked to perfection and an attentive staff that looks after you without being intrusive.

(5)Charles M.
(4)TaCreacia B.
Food was really good. Salad bar isn't as great as other Brazilian Steakhouses. But it's a nice little salad bar. Service was good and friendly. Overall not bad for the price
(5)Kathleen S.

Went here for father day and it was simply amazing because it was father day and we waited a bit too long to be seated three owner compt. Us dessert for our entire party. The services was simply amazing salad bar was smaller than other brazilian restaurants but I preferd it this way food was the restaurant was nice and cozy and very personal enjoy our brazilian brothers and sisters win the world cup game will be coming back real soon. Food was really five stars .
(5)Doron R.

(2)Anthony g.
if there was anything less than one star i would give it. i bought a groupon for Nelore and still felt cheated from my experience.

(2)Ha C.
Great little restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, we definitely come back
(5)Jessica R.
Picked up a Groupon for the full dinner. Delicious! Come hungry, because there is so much food. Liked the music and the decor. Due to price, it's probably more of a special occasion place than a regular dining spot.
(4)Toni M.
(4)Roberto H.
I love meat. And I would always order more. They have a passion fruit mousse that's really good.
(4)Oj C.
At first i found the place too small for all the hype. Service was great ,meat cuts were well proportioned and seasoned. Salad bar had a lot of variety. Wine list was plentiful. Seating was to uncomfortable and tables too small.
(3)Kathy D.
(2)Denise W.
