Pretty average. Had waffles and they were OK. The biscuits and gravy didn't taste very special, either. This place didn't leave an impression on me whatsoever.

Cheap and good. You can eat breakfast here for $5. Their biscuits are fresh and flaky. Their omelettes are massive and tasty. Their bacon can be too thick and hard and I their pancakes are not my favorite because they taste too sweet like they are made with cake batter or something. Service is usually good. All in all a reliable cheap tasty place to eat.

New to Florida and went here for the first time a couple weeks ago. Large - Let me repeat - Large portion food. Home cooking at its best! Small hometown restaurant with a casual atmosphere and friendly staff!

Wow! glad I came across this place on yelp! excellent breakfast! Homemade biscuits!! melt in your mouth! tons of food, and all very good, and reasonably priced. If I ever visit this area again, I will be back.

Southern comfort food and southern hospitality, can it get any better? I don't know, but Southeast Eatery does it right. Like previous reviewers have stated, portion sizes are generous and service is amazing. You walk in, they smile, and then you're seated. Maybe you have to wait a little like my group of six did, but we came at peak hours and didn't wait longer than ten minutes. It's loud and raucous, but the good kind. Everyone, from the kitchen and restaurant staff to the patrons are happy. You can literally feel the goodwill the moment you walk in the door. Inside, the diner has a bit of an eclectic feel. It's like a typical American diner, with a Mediterranean feel almost. Though that may be the influence of the Greek owners. Did I forget to mention that Southeast Eatery is owned and operated by the same people who own Manny's? That's guaranteed good food. lol. During this particular visit, I had the Cheeseburger Platter, which came with amazing waffle fries. I swear, they were like Chik Fil A, Arby's, and Checker's fries combined. My aunt and cousin had the steak tips, and said they were amazing as well. Heck, even my grandmother likes the food here; and if it's got grandma's seal of approval, you know it's good.

Really terrible parking. Our waitress was great but the food was below my expectations. I think this is mostly because it was very greasy and fatty. The portions were huge too. The pancakes were fantastic though. Not a huge fan of the breakfast burrito, it tasted like processed cheese in a flour tortilla, basically much like the McDonalds breakfast burrito but for $8. Country fried steak was drowned in gravy and obviously too salty. I went here on the way to LegoLand but was really surprised that this place for 4 stars because it was definitely not that level for me.

To put it plain and simple, the food is great, the price is even better, and you get A LOT of food. I am a bodybuilder and always take something home.

One of the best places I had breakfast at. Love their basted eggs perfect portions and fresh breakfast. Service is good too. I miss this place, used to go almost every weekend with my husband and now in mississippi trying to find something similar. Must go place if you are in winter haven for breakfast

Had a take out of biscuits and gravy when I got home I took one bite and it taste like dishwater took the entire breakfast back to the restaurant and the wife of the owner Mike told me nothing is ever wrong with the biscuits and gravy she refused to refund my money I would never eat there again and I will tell everyone to never eat there again

Our whole family loved it! Great food choices for both breakfast and lunch. If you are in the area it's a great break from chains and you will leave very full. Go before you go to Legoland!

Not pretty but what a breakfast. She had 2. Scrambled eggs, 2 grilled pork chops, home fries and toast, $4.99 , Good service, etc. go, you'll enjoy. I had 3 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 delicious sausage, ham, home fries, toast $7.49. And it DID NOT TASTE LIKE CHEAP FOOD!
