Ordered some plates and smelled totally bad. The waiter was rude and gave us attitude about taking it back. This is the second time I ordered something with a bad fishy smell. Avoid this restaurant.

Best bang for your buck in Weston. The rolls are massive and the fish is very fresh. I've never had any experiences like the reviews below me and I've been eating at this restaurant since I was merely a toddler. Having had almost every roll on the menu it's hard to choose which one I like most, but I must say the Kamikaze salad is to die. The only thing I will admit is they changed their spicy mayo so it's not as spicey as I would like for it to be but it's fine. Definitely try their Thai Donuts!!!

Ducked in with the biz partner to meet a client and talk about bronze statues, imported Asian antiques, and how to dominate the digital and social media landscape therefor. I was disappointed. My "spicy" salmon and tuna roll lunch special sampler platter smelled afoul and wasn't spicy. I ate it anyway because I'm a rebel, Dottie. It came with soup, I chose Won Ton. It tasted like the Three Stooges made it. For those of you too young to get that Three Stooges reference, I shall e'splain: Imagine pouring hot water up chicken's ass, dropping a pasta lump in it and calling it soup. Meh. The partner got pad thai and she still feels okay, so we got that going for us. We also got edamame. It was unsalted and unseasoned, and the server delivered it with a salt shaker. Really. I've had better. The one shining star was our interesting and humorous server.

This place has been around for a really long time in Weston. The sushi is really great and the portions are pretty big compared to most sushi places. Its usually never full and they have plenty of seating available. The only thing I would say is that there are probably 2 waitresses that are a bit rude and not very friendly. If you like lobster your should try their lobster roll.. Its amazing!

I love this place and so do my besties. We always come here to hang out. Currently, my fav on the menu is chicken satai! This is a family Japanese restaurant. There is plenty of Japanese kids shows and games toys. For instance Pokemon and Hello Kitty. You can sit at a normal table or you can sit at a "Japanese table". There isn't many people so you can enjoy the quiet. There also is music and free wifi! (the passcode is sushiyum1212) Great customer service and super nice waiters! Therefore, I would recommend this place!

Came in to this restaurant because yelp had rated high. However, to my surprise I was able to realize the minute I walked in that we were not created and also the service was poor. The food was okay, it was not horrible but it took very long to be served. Also, unless you want to be scolded by your server who was an old Chinese woman after I had corrected her about my order because she had made a mistake I do not think I will ever return to this restaurant and also will be very cautious of the yelp ratings. The only reason why they do not get a terrible rating is because the food was okay but it was overpriced for the quality of the sushi.

This is our go to place whenever we go out for sushi, although I personally prefer their tempura. Service is good and the staff are friendly. The restaurant has a clean smell vs the fishy smell at other sushi restaurants we have tried.

I absolutely love miyoko. I could eat the sweetheart roll every night for dinner. Super fresh food, and great staff. My boyfriend and I frequent this restaurant. They are open late during the week which is nice after a long day at work. Also they have the best cashew chicken plate.

I'm very picky when it comes to sushi. So I gave this place the benefit of the doubt since they had my favorite salad on their menu - the Harasame Salad (crispy noodles topped with Seaweed salad, bean sprout and carrots in a sweet and spicy sauce). The salad did not disappoint me, but the carrots had a little browning and didn't look fresh. On to the sushi roll. Who doesn't love Volcano Rolls? The simple volcano sushi roll should consist of California roll topped with dynamite mix. I have no clue what they topped it off with but it was brown and it looked disgusting. It didn't even look edible, I was highly disappointed with my order. This would be the last time I order from them. Should've stuck with what the other Yelpers wrote.

Been coming here for years, best sushi in Weston, hands down. The sushi is top notch and the cuts of fish are properly done and generous, and they have refined their menu so you don't have that 'hey let's throw every Asian food in here' glut that you find at other sushi restaurants. Good ambience, but usually very quiet.

We happened upon this place on the way back from some sightseeing. The ambiance was great. .. clean, spacious, with quiet little booth seating areas made to resemble tatami mat rooms. My husband ordered the tofu yellow curry (mussiman?) which had big chunks of nicely prepared tofu in a slightly sweet, but not overpowering sauce (he got it with steamed, not fried tofu, and brown rice ). My daughter ordered salmon rolls which had big pieces of salmon. I had steak teriyaki, and I goofed up my order because I needed it with no sauce (for a test requiring me to eat no sugar) and the staff handled me mistake well and got me a new one, which was tasty and a perfect medium (probably even more tasty with the sauce. . . Next time!) Attentive service (my green tea never was empty!) and friendly staff and good food. Can't think of one improvement!

My very favorite sushi restaurant. They have the BEST crab rangoons (which they call crab pocket) because they are shaped like taquitos. So every bite has cream cheese and crab. They ate pretty big too, which makes up for the fact that there are only four on each serving. The Amagin roll goes perfectly with their spicy mayo because theirs is spicy enough to enjoy without having to gulp down milk afterwards. It is also PACKED with crispy salmon skin that balances out the healthy amount of cream cheese in the roll (not too dry like some get). The final touch is a slice of crab on top of each piece. Then there is the yummy roll. It has their spicy mayo and crab meat, as well as masago (I think, but I can't be too positive right now). I also believe it has cream cheese because I might as well be a mouse (again, my memory on that isn't exact). I love that it does not need ANY sauces because it's moist and flavorful, but I mix it up and add a little drizzle of eel sauce with a fork before I chow down. I ordered the shrimp tempura and beef teriyaki dinner combination for my father, which came with miso or wonton soup and white rice. I have never liked white rice from an oriental restaurant before. It is usually dry and rather pointless, but it was great even the next day! The teriyaki was perfect, as was the texture of the beef and the shrimp. Unfortunately, the shrimp they sent was sent with zucchini tempura. It seemed that they thought the order was for the shrimp and mixed vegetable tempura (also featured on their menu). I love zucchini tempura, so I didn't mind one but; my father would have preferred more shrimp though I'm sure. I ate his wonton soup the next day, with some of the leftover white rice, and it was ideal rainy-weather food. It was a large wonton that tasted like perfectly moist chicken. I completed my delivery order with their Thai donuts. They are great and incredibly filling but the man who took my order told me the sauce it comes with is condensed milk. My mother is Venezuelan, so we use condensed milk in several decadent desserts. That was the selling point for me. I was disappointed when I tasted it and found out it was simply a sweet white glaze. Still good, but not the thick amazing condensed milk we were expecting. I love that this restaurant delivers to my house and that they have such variety. They should add their beverage and dessert selections to their on line menu (as well as perhaps 6 crab pockets in their servings, and green tea ice cream which I know they would make perfectly).

Went to Miyoko tonight after not having been for about two years. This used to be our go to place for good, inexpensive Asian food....NEVER AGAIN. First off, our waitress kept hovering and asking when we were ready to order. Then proceeded to make "jokes" that our time was up...all while hovering in the corner. Appetizers were eh, waitress never brought my salad. Ordered pad Thai. It smelled like feet and tasted like plastic. Sister ordered sweet & sour chicken, which tasted terrible so she returned it. I tried to return mine but the waitress and manager had such an attitude and were completely unapologetic. I told the manager it tasted funny so he told me he would "try it." He then comes back to the table and says "I tried your noodles and they did taste a little off, but there's nothing I can do about it" He refused to comp me for the meal. THEN when we got the bill, he charged for the 12.50 sweet and sour chicken instead of the $9 rice my sister exchanged it for and proceeded to say "that's how it is." This was clearly not written anywhere. Needless to say, I WILL STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST EVER GOING TO MIYOKO EVER EVER AGAIN. NO MATTER WHAT THE OCCASION. The atmosphere, the food, and especially the staff was unpleasant. I only gave one star because there was no option of zero stars. If management ever reads this, you should be ASHAMED of how rude you are to customers. Take a class in customer service and maybe take a cooking class or two.

I had a bad craving for sushi and I wasn't dressed to go out so I needed to find a place that delivered. After reading the reviews I decided to try it out. I ordered a dragon & yummy roll, and about 45 minutes later it showed up (friday night). I don't know if it was because I was starving or what but it was delicious! Everything was fresh & it really satisfied me! I would really recommend the yummy roll to sushi lovers. I would definitely recommend this place if you're craving sushi but don't want to leave you house.

This is my third visit to Miyoko, and again I was very pleased with the quality of the sushi. This time, I split a "Love Boat" with my brother: It was complete with rolled sushi, sashimi, and on and on. I am always amazed at how fast the food comes out, and the staff are very friendly, if not always the most engaging. My only criticism is that the atmosphere is a tad dull here. They have a TV behind the bar, but the staff are just very quiet... Must be a Japanese thing, but even the patron working the desk up at the door does not say "hello" or "goodbye" when you pass by his station. A corporate restaurant manager-type would drill this into staff on Day 1, "You must be friendly to your customers, or they won't be your customers for long!!!" Don't take this the wrong way: The staff there are polite, but definitely not warm and engaging, and so the restaurant can be awkwardly quiet at busy times.

Pretty good sushi as carry out, and very wide variety of menu items to choose from including cooked dishes. I got the General Tao's chicken, spicy. It was excellent, crispy fried chicken strips with a great spicy sauce. Check it out, it's definitely worth while!

We came into this place b/c I was in the mood for sushi and when I said that, this place was around the corner. We came in and got seated right away. We got a booth (the last available booth). And the booth was soo cute! The chairs did not have legs, instead they were sat on top of a bench that was cover w/blue carpet; very unique! We ordered the Amber roll, Kamakazi roll, weston roll, and Chicken fried rice. It was also a plus that they had soy paper (yummy)! Down side, the charge $2 extra for the soy paper per roll, I had to ask for a glass of water and server forgot to get a drink for my daughter. We also had a small sappora (the only size they have) and a small warm saki. Overall the bill only came out to around $55, not too bad for everything we ordered. I also like the fact that they have many different rolls. I've definately have had WAAAY better sushi at 5 star sushi joints, but this place is not bad for being in the middle of no where.

I have been a Weston resident for years and honestly the best sushi in town is definitely at Miyoko. The Dragon Roll, whether you order in or for delivery is presented so well and everything is fresh. You will not see brown avocado slices on this dragon. The Sweet Potato Tempura is a great start to your lunch/dinner and the Miso Soup isn't as salty as I have had at other Sushi restaurants. The staff is really polite and you can watch both American and International football at the sushi bar and have some Ichiban beer or sweet plum wine to compliment your meal. Just note they aren't open late so if you have a craving for a Spicy tuna roll after 10pm, you may be out of luck :(

We came to Miyoko Sushi when we visited our friends in Weston during Christmas holiday. The owner/manager is Chinese as well as the wait staff and Sushi chefs, so the sushi rolls are not very authentic. We ordered Miyoko and Dragon rolls, even though they're two of the biggest sushi I've seen, but the tastes alright, not great. We also ordered Salmon Teriyaki, again the size is big, but tastes so-so. If you're looking for quantity, you'll probably like Miyoko. The service is quite good, even though they can be improved a little.

The quality of the fish here is low. It's probably comparable to buying sushi at Target. I tried three different rolls that had some combination of the following: tuna, halibut, squid, crab, boiled shrimp, tempura shrimp and the only fish that was okay was the boiled shrimp which is pretty hard to screw up. The rest of it was just not that fresh. The miso soup also tasted like some kind of instant soup in a cup. The miso had a strange and inauthentic flavor. I think we would have been better off buying some rolls from Publix and eating at home.

I've lived in Weston for over 15 years and have been patronizing Miyoko Sushi for a number of those years. I find the wait staff to be attentive; the rolls and portion sizes to be generous; the quality of the fish and other edibles is unquestionable. We sometimes go with my brother and his family and have a sushi party... yum, yum... it's good. You should try it!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Miyoko Sushi. First, the service is terrible. The wait staff is rude and the manager even ruder. We came in on a Saturday and ordered off of the lunch menu. While the miso soup and the wonton soup were acceptable, the spicy tuna roll was definitely made with rancid fish. After one bite, which my husband spit out, and I unfortunately swallowed, you could taste the overly fishy, putrid flavor taking over your taste buds. We tried to wash it out with the ginger, but even that was overly bitter, and of bad quality. We politely told our waitress that we did not want to consume the rest of the meal and that we were not going to pay for such a bad meal. We even apologized for asking them to take it back, we've never experienced food so bad that we couldn't stomach eating it and had to ask for it to be returned. She left us and after a few minutes, it didn't seem like she was returning, and we made our way out the door. They ran after us and demanded that we pay $7 for the soup and salad. My husband who is a Chef and local food writer, asked to speak to the manager and she insisted that we pay, even after we let her know that the sushi was spoiled. Please do not waste your time here if you want good service or even mediocre sushi!

Great all around local sushi restaurant! Get the muscle man! Best roll on the menu.

I've eaten sushi at quite a few Japanese restaurants in Broward and Miyoko is my favorite. I love the portions and freshness of their rolls. I can't vouch for their thai food but you can't go wrong with the sushi.

Service was good and staff friendly. Sushi was ok but nothing to sing a chorus to. Presentation was nice though and the place looked clean-ish.

Almost 2 hours just to get my food on a Thursday night!!! Ordered at 7:40 and 9:30 my food shows up! And I only live 3 miles away!!! Fish and rolls were were sub par, Publix was better than this. Save your money and don't eat from here!

We have eaten here for several years. Not fancy but consistently good quality. Friendly service.

Favorite sushi in Broward. Best days are Tuesday through Saturday. I've been eating there for 11 years now. Authentic, not artificial.
