Food and Service is mostly good, but prices are very high, but this place is in Weston so expect to over pay.

Overall: Mitch's Westside Bagels Too is a delightful place to grab a bite to eat with a great nova and cream cheese bagel, and its well-located. The service ranges from incredible to horrible, so this fact dropped my rating to 3 stars. The Good: The food here including the free appetizer is completely scrumptious and full of flavor. Their menu contains many choices good for anyone of any age, so feel free to come here with your family. The Bad: The service wavers from day-today and from server-to-server. There is no consistency, which can take your meal from awesome to horrible.

Excellent service, food and ambiance. This place has friendly staff and a family ambiance that is pleasent. We ordered ommelettes, salads, sandwiches and everything was carefully prepared with fresh ingredients. I'd come back again! The wait was only 5 minutes for a group of 8 people during peak hours. They know what they are doing.

Best Deli in Weston, because it is the only one. Disgusting is the only word that comes to mind. Lenders frozen bagels are better than this garbage. Asked for a toasted and it was raw. Clearly from reading these positive reviews, it becomes obvious that these people have no frame of reference for real bagels or deli. In typical Weston fashion people will wait on line for anything, regardless of quality or service. The only line for this place should be the line of people running the other way!

This restaurant was busy on Sunday afternoon. My first thought was, "Wow, the food must be delicious!" When I got seated, I noticed the trash that were left on the floor such as straw wrappers, butter, napkins. I hesitated and not sure if I wanted to stay based on the cleanliness of the restaurant. I would say it took about 20 minutes for someone to start sweeping the floor. I was a bit disgusted! Anyway, I ordered the Matzoh Ball soup and a Roast beef sandwich with a cucumber salad. I must say the food was delicious. That's why I gave this restaurant a 3 stars. I would have given this place four stars if it was cleaner. Yes, I would recommend it this place. Maybe when you go, it will be cleaner?

Fresh bagels, hot food and great service. Bacon was a tad overdone but all in all we loved it!

I've been here a couple of times for breakfast, which is your typical deli/diner breakfast. This time I came with the kids for lunch. They are fast and attentive, kids got their food right away. I ordered ice tea, which was freshly brewed and tasted great. I also ordered the Triple Play; a triple decker of chopped liver, fresh corned beef, and fresh pastrami (which I swear is made in house). Wow! I could only eat half, but what an amazing sandwich. The chopped liver was fresh and was housemate. My wife who hates liver...as do I...loved it and I told her after. This place is a must try in Weston or Coral Springs (more space/room in Weston). The prices may look a little steep but portions are shareable.

Classic example of Jewish deli with great food and terrible middle-age servers. Upon entering you don't get served treated welcome for who knows how long and when you do anything you say anything is an inconvenience. This is the fundamental problem with Jewish delis all over the city and BEING Jewish myself that should be taken objectively. I don't know what it is, it's horrible. Life organisms take the path of least resistance and if we keep rewarding this type of service then it will never change. Sorry for the Symantec or punctuation errors this was all done voice to text.

We used to be frequent visitors at Mitch's but both the food and the service have declined over the years. We have stopped going and won't be back.

I've gone here out of convenience. I can't believe how they are still open. The 'deli' is consistently fair and overpriced (compared to delicatessens in town. They're great at the middle-fill, making the sandwich appear larger than it is. I've had soured chicken soup presented as take-away and upon calling and complaining, they said they'd write up a slip for the credit on my next visit. That was lost and not honored. Going for a final take-away try before giving up, I clearly ordered a corned beef on seedless rye with mustard. I received plenty of seeds and no mustard... Not even a packet. Added a can of soda and paid $16! I give up and will not return to Mitch. Breakfasts are good, though.

Ate here 3 times in the past week and I enjoyed the food and friendly service. I tried the matzoh ball soup, bagel and cream cheese, tuna salad, potato knish and coffee. Everything was very tasty. Weston prices though but recommended.

I am having a hard time remembering a worse breakfast. I ordered an omelette with bacon and hash browns. My omelette was drier than the Gobi. Equally dry were my hash browns. The only redeeming qualities were the absurdly large water glasses and the complimentary mini-corn muffins. But seriously, how can you be a breakfast place and not be able to make an omelette?

This is about as New York style a deli as you are going to get in South Florida, but this place is terribly over priced. I had a reuben with fries and spent $15. Now, in New York I would have finished just half a sandwich for that price as it would have been huge, but this one was average in size and the portion of fries, which were frozen, is negligible. The sandwich was tasty, but not worth the money. And I was a bit disappointed in the fries for obvious reasons, but it turned me off that I got the extras left at the bottom of the basket from previous frying. Just like you would see in a fast food restaurant. A little more care should be given to the little things like this. I say just stick to the bagels in this place.

The best Deli in Weston. Ehh... the only Deli in Weston. Food is excellent but EXPENSIVE. Service is excellent. Not my favorite choice for breakfast. But an excellent choice for lunch, brunch or takeout. I personally credit their chicken noodle soup with saving my life six times. Really. Its just that good!

Best in town for chicken salad, matzo ball soup, and the Oreo pancakes are out of this world! Busy diner/deli with friendly service, outdoor patio overlooking the lake, serves breakfast all day.

The food is good. No complaints there. Here's the issue that prevents this place from getting 5 stars: I ordered the breakfast special, which comes with orange juice. I don't drink OJ, so I asked for coffee instead. Mitch refuses to replace the OJ with an iced coffee, which is cheaper on the menu. When the bill came, I was charged $3 for an iced coffee.

WORST SPOT IN TOWN!!! Don't even bother going here unless you want to pay $40 for two people for breakfast. I have been here twice and both times my order has been wrong. I ordered home fries and got hashbrowns that were undercooked and soggy. I asked for my bagel scooped and toasted, and it wasn't even toasted. You'll have better luck at Einsteins.

Love it every time we go for breakfast. The staff makes it great, and the atmosphere makes those bagels taste even more authentic to NYC..

Food is good but service is slow. Good bagels and big portions, lots of NY deli choices. Don't go when your in a hurry. The waitress never smiled and acted like we wee a bother. No communication walking out either.

When I walked in I was met with a crowd waiting to be seated, good thing I just wanted carryout! After finding the carry out counter and looking over the selections in the deli window I looked over the menu to find the one thing my pregnant wife sent me for, they didn't have it. However they did have a very nice deli lunch menu and most items looked pretty good, a little pricey, but I figured they would be large servings. I placed my order and stood around waiting for the food to be prepped. French toast, cheese blintzes and bagel with smear. Can't go wrong, right? Upon returning home with the much awaited brunch I looked over the food and for the over $20 I was a little disappointed. The french toast was still soggy and not thoroughly cooked, the $4 bagel was tasty, but I was most disappointed with the blintzes. For almost $10 you get 3. Not 3 big delicious blintzes, just 3 plane old med-small blintzes that had the taste of what ever they cooked on the flat top prior them, I'm guessing something with garlic. Needless to say, it did not pair well with the blueberry compote. I will be giving Mitch's another try, this time for lunch, hopefully they don't disappoint!

The owner is loud and nauseating. The food is cold and so is the service. Not much more needs to be said! Please when you own a restaurant, keep your fingers off my fries!!!!

I love Mitch's. The bagels are fantastic but I have a few complaints. First, when you walk in it looks nice but when I sat down in the aisle I saw a dozen flies on the glass. (Glass separates aisles) and I got a weird felling but I ate anyways. Next the service is weak with a mix of 40 year olds and 16 year old boys. All in all, food is great, and I go here most weekends to get a half dozen bagels to go. A little dirty and weak service but still good.

If they are busy, sit at the bar, it is almost always empty unless they are setting up a catering order. This place is the busiest on Sunday's wow! Line out the door. But if you are looking for good deli food in Western Broward...it doesn't get much better than this. The pastrami is so good I go just for that! The wait staff can be very informative, but sometimes they come off a little gruff....still worth it! Price is on the high side for lunch and/or breakfast so I wouldn't go everyday, but once a month...yum.

There lunch isn't to great, but their breakfast is awesome! They have good omelettes, pancakes, muffins/bagels and of course PHENOMENAL, GIANT French toast. I uses to hate French toast before my friend ordered it for me.

The food here is great, their service could use some help. We come here every weekend for breakfast and the food is excellent, I would recommend the Crunchy French Toast. If you get the Loud Italian Man, you're good - he provides great service and looks as if he's the glue to Westside!

This place. Should be ashamed. Find a broom and a duster. Clean up. I waited 15 min to be seated and another 20 min to be acknowledged by the waiters to take our order. Plus another 15 min to bring our bagles. One word. Upset. Plus it was my bday

I've lived in Weston since 1997 and we AT LAST have a deli-place. It's great for a deli-place. AWESOME even. I've been there when 5 people have cornered the owner to THANK him so much for coming to Weston. We have such few options here. This place has great deli-stuff. Don't overthink or overpalate it - it's a DELI. Great sandwiches, great breakfasty-stuff like lox and egg-things. They close at 3. It's packed a lot and it should be. I love this place - thank you so much for coming to Weston!

The Dirt - Went to Westside Bagel this morning, then looked up the Heath report on the restaurant and was sick when I saw it had 34 violations from its inspection on 9/21/12. This is nothing new it had 17 on 7/31/12, 10 on 5/17/12 and 11 0n 3/1/12. Obviously I will never go to this restaurant again. Here is the link if you want to take a look for yourself. restaurantinspections.lo… copy and paste the address to see all the violations

We have been regulars since they opened. It's a love hate relationship. It's not cheap but the food is good. Servers are nice but sometimes a little slow. They know us now so they are always schmoozing with us. The owner is a little over the top but nothing that offensive. I usually get the Alana - an egg white with onions and shrooms in pancake form. With a toasted scooped bagel. Figure friendly-tomatoes on the side no fries! The family has eaten everything there - smoked fish. Lox, pastrami, etc... Ehh, it's not that clean maybe but it's Weston and unless you're driving into NYC or Sage deli in Hallandale, we don't have so many options. It's an experience for sure.

I only come here for breakfast, but I like it a lot. This is what I mean about getting breakfast right. Eggs are always cooked correctly, bacon is crisp and not overcooked, hash browns (I personally prefer over house potatoes and these are done correctly), Bialy bagel... Very clean place, including the bathrooms. One of the waitresses isn't good, and of course I always seem to get her, but the other waitresses and bus boys who've previously served me are great.

I've been taken here once or twice previously, and it consistently is a boring experience with bland approximations of old favourites. Mitch's is a noisy, bustling, Jewish-style deli in Jewish-style Weston. To be clear, Jewish-style does not mean Kosher; there are knishes and blintzes on a menu alongside bacon-cheeseburgers. I had an everything bagel with lox, cream cheese, tomato, and onion. It's a pretty basic order, I'll concede. The lox was good and in good supply. Same with the tomatoes and onions which were fresh and plentiful. The bagel was another story; it came out with a pale tint to it and I was suspicious. I picked it up and it was light, airy even. It lacked the doughy density of a great bagel, along with the lacquered sheen marking a great bagel's exterior. Others at the table got sandwiches (a tuna wrap that looked short on tuna and heavy on lettuce), pancakes, and an omelette. The ultimate omelette looked and smelled horrific--greasy and heavy, the omelette looked like scraps from the kitchen held together with eggs. Order at your own peril. The pancakes were equally disappointing. The pancakes were thick--great for steaks, bad for pancake batter--which left the insides soft and mealy. The restaurant is a New York bagel store on steroids--bigger in size and menu, creating a space that excites you about what it could be but missing to excel on any front in particular. Harmless and charmless, Mitch's serves a function of gathering place for friends and family--but the food surely takes second fiddle.

Dear sweet lord I love Mitch's! The bagels are amazing! They are even better with the pimento cream cheese! If you feel like splurging then get the snickers pancake!

Don't listen to the haters. In an era when they've all but disappeared down here, Mitch's has become one of the best delis in South Florida.

You can't eat The New Yorker with your hands because it's on a knish and, unfortunately, the corned beef is so sinewy that should have asked for a steak knife. I give it almost five stars anyway because of the taste, quality (except for the sinew), atmosphere and staff. STAFF should have been first, because they're good people.

Typical New York style deli, always crowded, good food but pricey, somewhat uneven service, nevertheless we always come back- something about the whole package that makes it appealing

the service is always top notch. the food is good and the entire menu is available even at breakfast hours. This helps since I cannot eat eggs for breakfast or have carbs either. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy good food and great service. Ms. Shannon welcomed us the first time we went there and we continue to come back.
