Went there while on our mini moon, it was very romantic, sets the tone for and Awsome night, the food was great. All good I'll go back.

The service was good. The food was ok. The filet mignon was cooked well (although seemingly small). My BF had the gnocchi with pesto. I didn't think his was very good. It was gritty, like there was sand in it. The champagne was decently priced. The beef carpaccio was good, although small, even for an appetizer. Overall decent dining, but I wouldn't hurry back. Maybe I would just come for drinks. On a side note this place is really loud. Our table couldn't really talk to one another. They're also open pretty late (for Weston)
As usual Mallardies comes through again! Absolutely delicious. We started with our favorite appetizers The Burrata and their Italian Meatball...I can't get enough!!!... then the Lambata Mallardi (veal topped by a bed of spinach and other fabulous greesns). Delish!!!

When I mentioned to the owner that his wines by the glass were weak and actually followed me outside and cursed at me ........on a Saturday night the restarant was 30 per cent filled ......I suspect the owner manager has something to do with this ......

Alright, cutting to the chase: this is a great restaurant! I've only been here once so far and their first impression was excellent. The staff is attentive and strive to make sure you get everything you want. The decor and ambiance are definitely reminiscent of a fine Italian restaurant (perfect for that 1st or 100th date). And, of course, the food! Got a minute? The food was the best Italian food I've ever had. The care in the preparation, the plating, and the overall flavor was worth every penny. Definitely a great night out and looking forward to coming here again.

Great pasta (Alfredo), the chicken is blackened and also good quality. Ambiance is easy on the eyes, also a fancy type of vibe. Cool bar , and the service was excellent. Not for your casual walk in, but seemed like a mix crowd of semi-casual and formal.

Discovered this place through Yelp and Urbanspoon. We went on a Friday night at 9pm and the place was about half full. The food was delicious, priced well, and the service was authentic Italian. Plus they had live music going. We'll definitely be back! Oh and on the way out the owner/manager thanks you for coming and shakes your hand...nice touch!

Great food and service, classy looking restaurant. Their x-mas decorations look really nice right now too. It has a balcony area where you can eat outside over looking the lake with a canopy top. Nice dim light romantic atmosphere. Now usually I won't get pasta, or mention much of it but I was craving alfredo. Their sauce is one of the best I've tried! Creamy and neither too thick nor thin, just the right consistency. The two appetizers I had were very good one was truffles & raw salmon, the other eggplant stuffed with ricotta, it was very flavorful / rich. Had the veal wrapped in prosciutto stuffed with cheese with side veggies. Very creative way to make it, haven't seen this before. If you like veal they have a good amount of dishes for this! I'm not a huge veal person but if you are I recommend trying this place!

Mallardis Tuscan Grill was a last minute date night choice, but was recommended by a close friend of mine so my husband and I decided to try it. It was great! We had no issues parking and had a very warm welcome from the hostess when coming into the restaurant. My husband and I were given the option to dine inside or outside and because it was so cool outside we took a seat outside. It was a great choice because the outside dining had lights overlooking the a nice lake area. There was even a flat screen mounted by the door showing an NBA game, but it was not in anyone's way or take away from the romantic setting. The waiter was great and very attentive. Because I wanted something very light I ordered the Pollo Al Carbone, which was grilled chicken breast with mixed vegetables which I really enjoyed. I could cut the chicken like butter very nicely done. My husband ordered the Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca, which didn't look very appetizing to me because it came with capers, anchovies, garlic and olives. My husband likes stuff like that so he tried it, and liked it a first, but later admitted he didn't really care for the combination of capers with garlic and anchovies. Even though they did appear to have a great wine selection we didn't partake due to not wanting anything heavy that night. The dessert menu looked okay, but my husband and I didn't see anything tempting to make us overindulge due to being so full after eating our entree. I would have like to have given it 5 stars, but we waited so long to get our check. Even though the service was very attentive for most of the meal, it was slow toward the end. But that could have been because it started to get crowded with more people coming in. Overall a pretty good experience and I do plan on coming back soon to try that wine selection.

Ducked in with Kristin to talk fitness, digital media, coffee shops, and merchant processing and was I glad I did! Here's why: * Sat on a lake with outside and "waterfront' seating * Located nearby in gorgeous Weston, Florida * LOVE the decor, especially the digital fireplace (see photo) * The lighting around the bar area was crafted professionally, and I love the lighted display prominently displaying Premium liquor brands. Classy. * The food was SUPERB! As was the service. I enjoyed the double cut grilled pork chop with Tuscan veggies (see photos) and it was a home run. We also enjoyed the squid appetizer. I loved it, Kristin not so much. She had the sesame seared Tuna and it was a home run, too. Yummo! Disliked: * A tad on the pricey side. I see the practiced hand of a very dialed-in interior designer at work inside. Nice touch. Maybe that explains the pricing calculus. Good stuff, check it out. Look for me at the bar. Cabeza out!

We used to frequent the previous restaurant at this location, Il Toscano, but we stopped due to very poor service and outrageous prices. We figured new name, let's stop in, hopefully service and quality has improved. Sadly, it seems like new owners, but same staff and terrible quality. I ordered the shrimp Cobb salad, for 14.99. I got 4 shrimp, one of which wasn't cleaned, brown avocado and grape tomatoes that had black spots on them. I immediately returned the salad due to being served brown avocado and it was replaced by a not so brown one, but not fresh. In addition the lettuce was practically transparent. Over all the salad was stale and tasteless. The waiter took it off our bill, but did not even apologize or seem the least bit worried about having an unhappy guest. Sadly we won't be returning.

First time here, brought my mother. Great service, Dominic was great with us and his recommendations were wonderful. Met Rocco, the owner, he was just as gracious and attentive to us as well. Highly recommend the Chilean sea-bass and red snapper, delicious and fresh. For dessert- order the chocolate lava cake- you won't regret it. My mom loved the "Peratini" as well. Will be back soon! Loved it. :)))

Appalling service, OK food. Average brunch food, smoked salmon and shrimp are the highlights. The service is just appalling sat for 15 minutes, no one came to the table and had to ask one of the brunch severs to get us a server. Paid the extra $10 for unlimited mimosas, but had to wait ages for a refill. The coffee was cold and when I told the server her answer was "you should have said something, I am not the one drinking it!. The deserts are ok. Would I come back? Absolutely no!"

Millardi's is a classy place. The food is delicious and the service is exemplary. Love the fact that they have Live music on the weekends. We shared the risotto and a scaloppine dish. Prices are reasonable but a bit on the high side, but well worth it for ambience and service.
We were disappointed with the service and food. Neither our steak nor risotto were prepared as requested; even their attempt to fix the steak failed. The bar service was inconsistent too- simple mistakes that added to our frustration. The overall experience was disappointing since we loved their prior food and service when they were Il Toscano.

Had dinner here for the first time recently with my wife. Food and service were beyond excellent. Met the owner Rocco - the best. We are now regulars and we urge all of our friends and co-workers to go out and meet Rocco - but better yet, bring your appetite and enjoy the generous portions!

Excellent!!! Received a gift certificate from friend and read Yelp reviews as I got there. I was so surprised how the entire experience was totally much better than other Yelp reviewers posted. Could they have been competitors? The style of the restaurant this modern and classy. Leo, our waiter, was very helpful as he and others gave us outstanding service. For our dinner, we had the Seabass with artichokes and the shrimp scampi. Both entrees were absolutely delicious and very large portions. We will definitely return as this will become one of our favorite Italian restaurants.

This place is beautifully decorated and has beautiful people. And by people, I mean women. It has excellent service with courteous and attentive staff. Its menu shows a lot of potential, but the execution falls short. The snapper livornese was tough and the rack of lamb was overcooked. I'm not going to be overly critical because it could just have been an off night. The place does have a nice and welcoming ambiance and probably deserves another chance at some point. .

Went for a Saturday lunch with the family and the experience was fantastic all around. My family knows top flight dining and this place does not disappoint. The veal chop was tender and juicy. We came upon this restaurant by chance. Wow! What a great place! I had the mushroom filet. It was cooked perfectly and the filet was one of the best pieces of meat I have had. My father had the veal. The staff was exceedingly professional and very attentive. My only slight complaint was the volume of the music. Maybe we were seated right under a speaker but we could not hear each other over the Sinatra. :)

Bar staff was friendly. The happy hour menu and prices were great. The food was delicious. The only issue that I have is that there were small flies hovering around us the entire time. Annoying. It appeared that regulars at the bar covered their drinks with napkins to prevent them from flying into their drinks. I will give it a second chance - Please rid the bar of the flies and next review will be 5 stars.

This is solely rated based on my brunch experience. My friend had made a reservation prior to our visit (not required nor necessary) which they didn't have in the books. The weather was nice so we dined outside on the patio overlooking the lake. It was very nice. The brunch buffet is $21.00. If you order a mimosa or Bloody Mary, it includes free refills. The selections was mediocre in terms of flavor and selection. I wasn't very impressed, however the service and refills on our beverages was on point. Will I come here for brunch again? Unlikely. There are many other options in the area that I would consider before choosing this restaurant.

Wow. This place is the best kept secret in South Florida. What an awesome atmosphere and menu. Having dined at some of the best restaurants in the U.S., it's great to find one that is as great as I've ever had right in my own backyard. My wife and I had the Chilean sea-bass, "UN-REAL"!!! This is a must see!!!! Stephanie (at the bar) was the nicest bar tender/server! 5 stars!

we visited Mallardo's for the first time last night, 03/25/2014. Memories of a visit to Tuscany are always tough to beat at a US restaurant. But we give this place our mark for worthiness in its name as a true dispenser of great Italian/tuscan fare. we had a simple meal of salad and pasta (no better way to test Italian fare). Both were delicious. the pasta was perfectly prepared and the bread was almost as good as my own. What made it perfect though was a delicious Via Roma Grappa and an exceptional waiter. Michael is the guy you want taking your orders. Ask for him and a high table overlooking the Weston Ocean".

I use to eat here when it first opened until 2006. I went in hoping for the great meals that once were, not! First the original owners and chef were from southern Italy, there's is no way this chef is Italian. It was Saturday night were waited to sit down at an empty restaurant. The restaurant was disheveled our waiter walked over and acted as if we were taking his time away from his busy schedule he was very rude it took him a long time to even bring a glass of wine when we got our meal was absolutely disgusting. Veal Parm was little pieces of disgusting dried up meat no sauce no cheese absolutely gross taste like dried-up meat and salt. The Bolognese meat sauce was so salty, Had no taste other than salt and parsley. risotto watery bad seafood got really sick the same night. I am giving this a one mostly on the food the food was actually disgusting seven years ago I would never be writing this review and the owners and the manager seemed to think that they are entitled; most people should be so happy to eat at their restaurant well they are mistaken! This is not Italian food. I should have known when the waiters, the management and owner friends congregated yelling in Spanish. Yes they are from South America, now I can avoid and find my real paisons!!!

I'm giving this place one star because negative stars aren't available. The service here is a joke. Our waiter literally just nodded and shook his head, not one word came out of his mouth the whole time until we complained. I've never experienced such horrible service in my entire life. Food was average, nothing special. Never again!

We have been there 3 times with various friends and enjoyed the food. We like to sit outside where it is quiet. The bar inside is beautiful and hopping. We have no had any issues with the food. We are going again tonight with friends. I do agree that the servers should be more attentive.

Wow what a place. Was doing business in Weston when I discovered this gem. Very busy I mean busy busting with excitement. The owner the manager the bus boy the bar , I mean everyone was on their toes and covered every customer. The food, very good and good prices. I had the veal chop very well cooked and very tender. And they made it just for me breaded and with cheese parmagiana style. Also, the wine was veryfairly price the carpaccio was very authentic, better than any restaurant in Miami, where I a from. Such a good looking place too with a happening bar area. Manager and owner and waiter super nice. Kudos ro Rocco for being so nice what a place.please go eatand be happy at this fine establishment.hummm good ! And what a men u!

A totally inconsistent restaurant! 3 of the 4 dinners came out wrong, one came out wrong the second time as well! There seems to be no communication between the staff and kitchen. Skip this one! The restaurant is loud, pricey, and poorly managed. Not going back !

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I am giving this place an extra half star because I have been coming here since it was Il Toscano and some of the same bartenders and wait staff remember me and treat me well. Unfortunately, the consistency and quality of the cuisine is slipping. I hope they get their act together again and quickly. Back when this place re-opned as Mallardis (from Il Toscano), the menu was updated somewhat, the interiors were spruced up and the bar became a happening little place (for the Baby Boomer scene - nothing going on here for Millennials unless they are cougar lovers or looking for a sugar daddy). There are large tables suitable for a party/celebration, live music duo on some nights - so the place has the potential for a festive vibe. It has, however, become a hit or miss kind of place ... The apps used to be sublime - now, they lean towards the severely mediocre. The seafood selections vary greatly in quality so you may want to play it safe and order the meatball appetizer and the mozzarella and tomato. The clams or mussels are usually ok, but during my last visit, chewy was the operative word, so, skip the small crustaceans. Entrée wise - stick to the pasta dishes - and chicken specialties. They are pretty good. Prices here are a tad too high for the quality, in my opinion. I do really hope they improve what's going on in the kitchen and bring this place back up to par - or else I'll have to scratch this off the go-to list and stick to Bellini's and Acquolina for Italian in Weston.

Superb! Great food, great service and all at reasonable prices. If ever I'm back in this area, Mallardi's will be one 'must go to' restaurant

Was here last night, got fried calamari for appetizer and wasn't impressed but the Chilean Sea bass with capers was absolutely amazing!!! Service was great as well!
