You will not be disappointed. Friendly staff, food is excellent, and plenty of dessert choice. Be prepared to wait for the food as in any popular restaurant. The average wait to eat is 10-20 minutes. Well worth the wait.

We tried this restaurant for the first time this evening. We had heard a lot of good things about the food and service. The location is rather odd but there are other restaurants in the same shopping Plaza Although the food was good and the service just okay, it did take a long time to get our food. The restaurant was completely empty on a Friday night and we found that kind of strange. The rest of the restaurants in the plaza or completely full.I guess that speaks volumes. I'm not really sure if we will return since there are many other choices for really good Colombian food in Weston.

Delicias Colombianas is one of our favorite places to stop and have lunch/dinner before we head back to the west coast after a weekend in Miami. This is a small, family owned and operated restaurant. The service is alright, but the food more than makes up for it. I had sancocho de costilla and it was absolutely PERFECT!!! I brought home a bowl of Ajiaco for my husband and he devoured it, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was good also.
(4)Ken R.
Friendly service! I had the "Bandeja Colombiana" and it was awesome! My wife had ajiaco and she loved it! For sure I'm comming back.

Service was terrible, found a hair in my meal, and waitress put the soda can INSIDE my cup, which is honestly disgusting. The food is good but these problems ruined it for me. I made a mistake with my order and they handled it very rudely. When I was done and ready to pay the waitress came to ask if she had brought the entree... Still can't believe she asked me that and when I said no that I didn't want it anymore, she asked if I didn't want to take it home. Really? Overall, it was also too expensive. Never coming back again.

If there is one thing I miss from Miami it is....PASTELITOS! Delicious pastries that I would have every Sunday morning at my old house. Delicious Cuban treats of guava, cheese, guava and cheese, and coconut. Man I've been craving them! Then I found Delicias Colombianas, on this awesome website/app called Yelp - perhaps you heard of it? I came in and though it was just going to be a regular bakery. Nope, it's a small restaurant and they serve up Colombian favorites. Judging by how many tables there were I would assume the food is awesome - I intend to find out soon enough for myself. I got a buñello which is a bread ball with cheese mixed into the dough. It was super greasy, but it was good. Reminded me of a similar treat my friends mom makes (Brazilian) - although her's aren't as greasy, but similar tastes. I liked it! Then...oh man...THEN...I got the guava pastelito. WHOA. I might be banned from visiting my parents for this one but these were EVEN BETTER than the traditional Cuban pastries I grew up on. I don't know what it is about them but they were delicious. The guava had a more intense flavor, which I really liked. They were flaky, sweet and delicious! I came back a couple days later and got some cheese, and guava & cheese pastries along with a "merenguito" which for lack of a better description is "frosting" which you bite into and it disintegrates in your mouth. Everything was amazing and I look forward to possibly making this my new Sunday morning pastry spot! Service was quick and NICE. The gentlemen and lady behind the counter explained what each thing was we asked about and bagged them up/charged us super fast. Plus, they have FREE WiFi.

We had a trainer bring several pastries and breads from here to a corporate training event and they were all delicious. People were arguing about getting the last pieces at the bottom of the box. I look forward to actually going to eat in the establishment because their takeout was yummy.

Coming from New Jersey where a lot of Colombians live as well I can definitely say this place was amazing and a must to visit for a great deal and great food!
(4)Xavier M.
Very warm and inviting little restaurant. The decor is very nice for such a small place. The service was very attentive and prompt, and the food was fresh and flavorful. Over all a very good experience. I'll definitely be back.
(4)Silvio S.
TERRIBLE SERVICE (tip is included, waiters don't care) food was decent but deffinitely not worth the price. I really recommend you avoid this place.
(1)Frank M.
This used to be one of my favorite places to come. I am currently here with 5 other tables. I asked for water 20 min ago and I'm still waiting for it. 2 other tables got here after us and got their orders taken before me. Service is a 0 out of 5.

Not impressed at all!!! Four of us ate here last night and not one of us enjoyed it... The steak was as dry and tasteless as eating piece of cardboard and the boneless chicken breast was dry and burnt all for $42. I wish they would give us a refund the food was so BAD. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. If you are in the area and are looking for EXCELLENT Colombian food, go to La Pequena Colombia Bakery & Restaurant... That is outstanding Colombian food... btw: the people that say otherwise are definitely friends or family of the owners because there is no way they could have enjoyed any food in this place...

This is THE go-to spot for Bandeja Paisa in the Weston area. The bandeja is the usual combination of beef (shredded/ or steak), rice, beans, plantains, fried egg, and a big chicharon. You will leave this place with either tomorrow's lunch or a very very full stomach! I prefer the shredded (ground) beef. Prices are totally reasonable. They also have a pretty stocked set of bakery items, so if you're looking for some Latin sweets, this is a great stop. It is really hard to find. You won't see this place driving down Weston Road. It's tucked off of North Commerce behind the plaza that has El Mariachi and Il Toscano. Look for the blue, yellow, and red stripes along the base of the building's room. The entrance to the plaza is off Commerce and has a Hawthorn Suites sign.

Wow, this place surprised me. Delicias Colombianas is located in a strip center next to a Hawthorn Suites in Weston and you would never imagine the food being so good and such a good value. I was up in the area for work and had a quick meal there with my boss, as we just happened upon this spot. It's impossible enough to find anything in Weston, much less this place, as its tucked away with little signage. The restaurant offers meals and baked goods (which I didn't try when I stopped in). We both ordered the special of the day, which was a pounded, grilled chicken breast, served with a fresh salad, tostones or maduros, and rice. You also get a cup of soup with your entrees, a flavorful chicken broth with chunks of crisp vegetables and cilantro, much better than your typical chicken soup. We ended up with a sizable portion of tender, marinated chicken breast that didn't need any sauce or additional flavor. The tostones were large and flat, thinner than ones I am typically used to. The salad was fresh and topped with a tangy, creamy dressing. Even the white rice, which can often be bland, was full of flavor. This meal was as good as one home cooked by my Venezuelan roommate. Decor is simple but cute and the service was very friendly, fast and helpful. And the best part of the meal, our TOTAL bill of $12.70!

Nice menu, average service, great prices.

Awful service and food! They even charge you extra on soccer game day without telling you in advance!!!

At work, we mainly get lunch from here because the lunch specials are insanely cheap and filling. Lunch is about $6 for a smaller version of the main entree that comes with side, rice, and plantains and with a soup on the side. These specials change daily and go by what they have one hand. Although the food is cheap, they are never consistent and get to-go orders wrong all the time. Simple orders of only 2-3 are always placed wrong with them! Soups are not the ones we ordered and dressing off one salad means no one gets dressing. The food is also extremely salty all the time. I feel like I'm undoing all my gym time because of the amount of salt in one lunch sitting but hey, that's what happens when everyone you work with is broke and you don't have a fridge or microwave at work (it hurts my soul). The fried yuca is not worth trying at all and a small order is only about 3-4 pieces!! Grilled chicken is either not seasoned and drier than cardboard or salty-salty-salty. The bakery items are better but the guava and cheese is better at Publix than here. Go here for food that is about 1.5 ratings higher than your local Micky Dees.
(2)Oscar A.
The service had improved a lot! And the food is always great. Excellent place to have an inexpensive great meal.

Hellllloooo Colombian pastries, WHERE have you been all my life?! Being no connoisseur of sorts on Columbian food, I came in to this little place and was converted...fast, to loving all this Columbian goodness. I can't speak on behalf of the lunch or dinner food itself, but the pastries and bakery portion more than hit the spot. I tried the guava and cheese pastry, and thought I was in in heaven after one bite. The cheesy, bread ball was also good, but in my opinion paled in comparison to that delicious pastry. It ruined me for the rest of the day. I didn't have much to compare it to not eating very much Columbian food, so on a later day I stopped in to another Colombian bakery by my house and bought some pastries to try out with the family, but their guava and cheese had nothing on this place. Their corn cake pastry was also really good....but the guava and cheese....can't get it out of my mind. It was a delicious yet dangerous discovery, but I can't say I'm not a fan! Good little place, completely Spanish, so if your like me and your Spanish is a "work in progress", just keep in mind they expect you to speak it! A girl did help me in English, but it's obvious that it was not the norm. I liked it though, felt very authentic and like a mom and pop place, Colombiano style!

I had been in this restaurant twice and every time the service an food keep getting better and better. The place is always clean and neat!!! I love to come to this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon...
(5)Ed M.
Tried this place this week and it was pretty good. Not the best Colombian I've had but good. I ordered the calentado which is a breakfast that includes steak, arepa with cheese and rice and beans. It was pretty good. Also tried the beef empanadas which were not the best, but tasty. The dough was not as soft and the meat not as flavorful as others I've tried in other places. Cheese bread that was just made was super good. The place is clean. The TV is quite loud and can get a bit obnoxious.
