I finally made it over to the newest dining option in Wesley Chapel. We had lunch with the in-laws around 12:30 on Sunday. The place was a little busy, but we were seated right away. This new Chili's is still very nice and clean. The decor is modern and the staff seems to be on top of things so far. I had an email for a free appetizer, so we shared the new White Spinach Queso without pico de gallo or guac. Yum! It was very good and also came with salsa for our chips. I opted for the Fresh Mex Pairings for my meal, choosing chicken quesadillas with citrus-chile rice and black beans. I thought everything was good, but the "new" rice tasted exactly the same as the old rice. This wasn't an issue since I've always liked the rice, but figured it was worth mentioning. I love the somewhat new feature of paying from a small handheld computer at each table. It makes it easy to track down your server and really speeds up the processing of getting your check and leaving. Not to mention, it figures out the tip amount for you and offers percentage suggestions. I think Chili's is a great chain for casual dining and Wesley Chapel could always use more restaurants.

Seriously. Second time and very disappointed with the service. I Would literally travel to the other two locations even though this is right next-door to my house. The first time I went we weren't even a party of that many and had a wait. The service was slow and the food took a while to come out. I ended up taking my salad to go since I ran out of time. We all know what happens to salad to go. Fast forward to the second try. We love Chilli's and must give it another try. This time we had a large party of 10 and it was already 7pm. It took over an hour to be seated and the restaurant was half empty. We sat and ordered and the food took another hour and change! The menu is the same and the food is the same as they have always prepared it. What was the big issue? We're not sure ourselves. We called the manager and explained and frustration and the only thing he said was that "I will check on it." He must've said something to him servers because they came out a few minutes after that and just kept giving us more chips while huffing and puffing. Of course, they did not mention that invitation to giving us chips they kept charging us guacamole charges. At the end of our meal (when the food finally came) we had about five guacamole charges! Half of us had the meal but the other half had to take it to go because it was already 9:30 PM! They never offered anything not even an apology for our wait or frustration or even the complaint. Needless to say we will only go to the other locations from now on.

Chili's in Wesley Chapel just recently opened maybe a few weeks to a month ago. To - Go seemed like a good option on a rainy cooler Friday night. Going on Chili' s.com , they have a convenient easy "order now" feature. I ordered our food easily, called to check that they had it, and it was picked up. Tilapia with mango salsa, 5 wedge potatoes, corn on the cob, 3 southwest eggrolls, and a bowl of baked potato soup were received. This food was sadly pretty blah and unflavorful. The best parts were the southwest eggrolls and the corn on the cob. We may go back and try something else, and get drinks just because it's in the neighborhood, but who knows. There is no outside seating to bring your dog. They have that next door at Applebees. This is convenient for those shopping at Walmart, & want to pick something up.

Had heard that the service was disappointing but we went anyways (Sunday at 2). The restaurant had a ton of open tables. We were seated immediately and seen quickly by our waitress. However almost every other touch point was incredibly slow. Our appetizers of chips and salsa, queso and white spinach dip took 10 - 15 minutes to arrive. We placed our kids orders and asked for the waitress to come back for the adult orders. The waitress never came back and we saw her standing at the hostess station talking to the hostess. We had to wave her over. The food took a very long time to be delivered, the check took a long time, the food was subpar. Very disappointing. Will not be back.

Finally, another option for easy dining in Wesley Chapel! This one happens to be within walking distance of my house, so another bonus. Located next to Applebee's off SR 54 near Bruce B. Downs in Wesley Chapel, the back of this Chili's opens into the Walmart parking lot, which makes getting in and out of here much easier than it was when this was the previous location of the Chinese Buffet and Johnny Carino's. You can exit out through Wal-mart and go east or west from the stoplight. They offer call ahead service, and we were quickly seated upon arrival when we dined last Thursday. There are lots of employees working, as they are training new employees and getting settled. It's your usual Chili's fare, with the iPads on the table for reordering drinks and paying for your bill. We sat in the bar area, which gives you free chips and salsa. We ordered the house margaritas, which are always buy one get one free, and then decided to go with the Mango Cuervo Margarita and the Presidente margarita. The waitress told us that she accidentally gave us the larger margaritas, so we actually scored a bit on that. Our food order did have a mishap, but it wasn't a huge deal. If we had complained I'm sure they would have made it right. We ended up getting people's food from the table next to ours, and they got ours. I think they complained and we just went with it. It was REALLY similar. We ordered the crispy chicken crispers with corn and honey mustard and an old timer burger. They ordered the original chicken crispers with bean soup and honey mustard and a cheeseburger. Understandable mishap! They got us our corn, and I removed the bacon, and all was fine for us. We ended up getting our food sooner! Didn't really realize what had happened until their food came out and they sent things back. Oops! Service was quick, and what you'd expect from Chili's. I'm not a fan of chains, but being this close I'm sure we'll be back. Oh yeah, their new fried pickles are amaze-balls. Definitely give them a try!

Visited this Chilis while visiting family in Wesley Chapel, FL. We were seated immediately and approached by our server. Drinks received quickly and he kept them full which was nice! We ordered an appetizer so he asked us if we wanted him to hold off a few minutes before putting in our order immediately. This was an appreciated moment of extra attention as our table was crowded and main meals would have made it more crowded. When meals finally came we dug in. It was super well prepared and everyone loved their food. We could not finish our meals so boxes and a bag were brought out. Our waiter was perfectly attentive to our dining needs and didn't hover but made sure we had full glasses and food ready. Overall, a great lunch experience.

Ridiculously slow service, even for appetizers. When the food finally comes it's not always hot, and you can tell they're cutting corners on the extras.
