This was my 2nd time to dine here. I am a Celiac so must be Gluten Free. First time, in December, the waitress told me there was nothing gluten free on the menu. I was astonished and asked if they had salad, chicken, vegetables...she replied yes but they no longer served gluten free pasta. She brought out an Allergy Menu and, sure enough, there was food for me. When the salad arrived there were croutons and I had to send it back and get a new salad because of cross contamination. Rest of dinner uneventful apart from service being abysmal. Asked for Manager and server immediately appeared. Spoke with Manager about gluten free and he seemed surprised that I had been told there was nothing gluten free. He did say they no longer served gluten free pastas. I stated that instead of concentrating on what they don't have, it would be beneficial to those of us that suffer from "allergies" to point out what they do serve to make us feel welcome. Tonight, February 11, went back. Nice server, Chrissi, I told her I was gluten free, she replied very much the same as I heard in December. I went through the same routine as before, however this time the Brick Chicken was suggested . No roasted potatoes, no risotto, same as before. I ordered a small salad and asparagus. Salad brought to table with croutons. Exchanged for one without... hopefully it really was exchanged but I have my doubts as I've been suffering since leaving the restaurant. I did chat with Chrissi and gave her some ideas to recommend to her gluten free customers. She seemed to be appreciative. My question is to the Manager.....why are you not educating your staff? They are a reflection of you. Why hasn't the Head Chef given a brief talk about how the kitchen CAN accommodate a celiac? I don't give a stuff about not having gluten free pasta, but what is on a roasted potato that I can't have? What's in risotto that I can't have? Why does it not click, automatically, with your staff that gluten free or Celiac NO CROUTONS. It is doubtful that I will return and it's a shame because the Macaroni Grill in Torrance, CA. always made me feel welcome and I never had problems there. Again, this is a training issue and the Manager is responsible. If you are a Celiac. or Gluten Free you might want to avoid Romano's Macaroni Grill in Wellington, FL.

Chose this instead of the Chile's next door due to no cars out front. I knew the service would be phenomenal and it was. Shaun my server in the bar booth table was very personable. I ordered the 3 for $10 lunch. Fried mozzarella, salad and ravioli in tomato cream sauce. Perfect serving size for lunch.

We went in for a late dinner and waited behind another group at the hostess station for a few minutes. Odd because the restaurant was only about 30% occupied. We ordered drinks and I received a skunked beer. The server was very nice but MIA most of the visit. She did not ask how the beer was as I left it full at the edge of the table the entire visit. She did remove the bad beer from the final bill when I asked her to do so. The food was ok not great. Usually I enjoy the food more, but this visit was not as good as usual.

Food and service was great! My German guests said "yeah! Finally, real Italian food in America" :-). Caprese, make your own pasta and dessert was all super.

Can't complain. Father-in-law loves this place. He especially likes the sourdough bread and olive oil dressing. It was a busy night when we came but we were seated immediately. The food came within 20-30 minutes. I always order the chicken Marsala and it never disappoints. Service was mediocre. The rating is more 3.5 stars.

So Gary our server was awesome ... attentive, informative, didn't hover over the table like a helicopter mom. My tomato soup? A few degrees warmer than room temperature. But not even more heat would polish that turd. And the shrimp caesar salad? Pedestrian at best. No wait, a pedestrian salad that lost a game of Frogger. My companion's meal (standard issue steak) and pasta fagioli said to be okay. Food here used to be pretty good ... it's taken a nose dive. Oh, and what's up with the young guy singing in Italian at the table? Yikes. There are plenty of better food choices in the area. You can skip this one and not lose any sleep.

If you have a Craving for Good Italian, this is your place. Great food, Friendly Service. The 1st time I went to Romano's Macaroni was back in 95/96 Grand opening in Coral Springs (long lines) today still like the good food. Great job!

Tried Macaroni Grille for the first time tonight and was not disappointed. Service was interesting, he was nice but wasn't very professional. Food was decent, we had the Parmesan crusted sole, which was very mild, and the chicken Milanese which was wonderful. Thursday night and we were one of maybe 7 tables in the whole restaurant so it was perfect for a quiet dinner. Overall: would go back.

I'm here right now... That's what I wrote from my iPhone, I'm gonna leave it up because Joolz loved it so much lol. The real review... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- So we sit down at the bar, and my friend recognizes a friend behind the bar. Based off of just food this place gets four stars alone. I can't give it an unbiased five stars because my friend knew the guy behind the bar... - Chicken canelloni / lasagna / chicken parmigiana combo... Canelloni was a bit rich, as I guess it's supposed to be. Get a nice wine to cut through the richness. ORRRR a blackberry mint iced tea, so good. Lasagna, tasty, not ultra memorable, but definitely a "I'll-order-again". Chicken parmigiana...I'd run through a group of the I am Legend zombies to get to a plate of this. THICK, juicy, crispy chicken breast. Over thin spaghetti. Laying on spicy tomato sauce. Covered in melted cheese and an alfredo type sauce. WOW! Get it! Now! Also, the bread...my god. You know how you go to a place and don't want to fill up on bread? This is the ultimate challenge here. Mini loaves, rubbed in salt, served with olive oil and herbs. The hook up! We got free drinks. The frozen bellini is nice! The raspberry / orange martini...there's a legendary beverage!

Good place. I have always had good service and quality food for take out or sit down. Never too busy to get a table when I walk in. You will enjoy your dinner. Good for groups also.

I've been coming to this location for almost 15 years, since it opened. Granted, I had not been back in probably 6-7 years but since I live down the street I decided to go for dinner last night. Wow, what a mistake. We walk in at 7pm and the place is empty, maybe 3 tables total. The hostess walks to the station and instead of greeting us, points to our daughter and says "Does she need a high chair?". Ok. Our server, and every other server there, could not care less about anything. He wasn't mean at all, just completely indifferent. We ordered our appetizer and after 15 minutes the server comes over and says they are out of zucchini (we ordered fried zucchini). Why are you telling us this 15 minutes after we ordered? I ordered my daughter the kid's grilled chicken and pasta. After 20 minutes the server brings over fried chicken tenders and fries. I tell him that's not what i ordered, he doubts me and says they dont have a grilled chicken and pasta on the kid's menu. I show him exactly where it is on the kid's menu and he says he never knew it was there. Stupid. Also, since I ordered my kid's meal when we ordered our waters, how come it took 20 minutes to arrive, especially if it is just fryer food? By now I want to leave so bad but we already ordered our entrees. They took forever and came out looking like poo. Then, the salads we ordered which usually come before an entree, arrive. After our entree. We asked for our bill, it took a while because there was no floor manager and a kitchen manager is the one doing front of house business. I did not complain and paid full price for our meal but even after all that our server didn't even try to make anything right. We usually do not like chain restaurants but since we live near a hundred of them, we thought to try some out. So far Smokey Bones is the best (apparent by their constant crowds) and Buca Di Beppo was awful (and is now closed). Unfortunately Macaroni Grill is on par if not worse than Buca because at least Buca had people there. Just like I said about Buca, I will not be surprised when I see the "for sale" sign on this restaurant.

My boyfriend's fish had a bloodline and bones in it. We spoke to the manager and he took it of the bill. While he seemed apologetic at the time, we passed him on the way out and he didn't say a word. There were also fruit flies in the restaurant, which was gross. We had a previous visit that didn't go well either so we will take this one off the list. Others must be catching on to this poor quality as it was empty at 6:30 on a Sunday night.

Pretty good being a chain restaurant. The mozzarella app was overdone. The main courses were good. The lentil soup was really well done and the salad was ok. The service was also pretty good.

Ugh I hate chains but if you refuse to make your own pasta this is better than olive garden.

Ok...not a big fan of the National Chains. As far as I am concerned If your looking for a Mid-level National chain to eat at, Bonefish Grill is hard to beat on price, consistency, cleanliness, and service. We had a group of 10, 6 kids, so a mid-level chain was in the horoscope. I've heard a lot about this place but never really made it in....so we said "why not give it a try!" Place was clean and ambiance was what one would expect. They seated our group with very little wait. Server was quick to bring our drinks and had a refill ready as I was sipping the last ounces of my iced tea. Nice so far. They brought the bread for the traditional dipping in the seasoned olive oil. Like Bonefish, it's that soft warm bread. I'm sure to a lot of folks this is great, but I am a traditional hard crusted Italian bread kind of guy. I'm sure these national chains have figured out that most of the older folks nationally (especially in FL) prefer SOFT bread. We order 4 apps for the table. Mac & Cheese Balls, Zucchini Fritte, Bruschetta, & Prosciutto wrapped Mozzarella. The only problem was we had no silverware yet. We told our waitress who was taking another table's order. We had to ask another waitress who finally brought our silverware. The apps were ok, a step up from SportsBar apps, but nothing fantastic. Same for the entrees. All a step above Olive Garden but nothing to write home about. All edible and nothing really bad, just nothing fantastic ONE BIG ISSUE I HAD....as we sat at our table, all dinner long the expediter (in an open room kitchen) shouted orders at the top of his lungs. He could be heard bellowing in every corner of the Restaraunt. He shouted "FOOD RUNNERS!" 6 times across room. He would shout "BOBBY ON DECK!!" "LARRY YOU'RE UP!!!" One of the cooks would randomly shout out "Pollo!!! Pollo!!" I got caught up and shouted "Pollo Pollo!" Back! He responded with another "Pollo!" It was like a Latin American mating call!! I felt like it was WALL STREET. I'm not sure is this is a gimmick of the Restaraunt or not, either way....it's not for me. For this type of dining stick to Bonefish Grill. Can't go wrong.

I'm giving it two stars because the waiter was kinda nice. Place had a dirty feel to it. Food was average at best. My wife's lobster ravioli was served cold, she had to wait and eat bread for 10 minutes while they heated it up; no comp offered. Calamari appetizer was waaaaaay beyond chewy. Bar staff joking around and very loud doing it. Last visit.

Waited 1 hour to be served. Finally waiter apologized and said it was his fault. When I suggested we should get some kind of credit like a free dessert, he simply laughed. Wonder if he'll find this review funny.

Ok, the food is decent, but don't do take out if you expect decent service. I ordered online, and then made a special call on my way to ask if they will include their bread and dipping sauce. I was told yes, but there was none in the bag. They also lest me waiting outside in curbside for 8 more minutes than the food was supposed to be ready. So I went inside and my food was waiting, getting colder. I asked the take out attendant why I wasn't brought my order, she said she didn't see my car because she was busy. So I suggest if you want mediocre food, eat in, not take out.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
