I really do LOVE their Sicilian pie, crust is light and crispy just like I grew up eating in Brooklyn. It's all about the dough :) Unfortunately I haven't tried anything else.

Stopped in for a slice and will never go back again... Pepperoni slice was greasy... Floor tiles would be easier to chew... Horrible. .. Sorry but true

DO NOT EAT IN! Food was delivered to the table every 15 minutes. No one are together. Food is pretty good, so call in and order to go. That seems to be the only customers they care about anyway.

I moved here in 92' and the great pizza places were slim pickens. When Basilicos opened it was like being back home. The owner is hands on and I can tell he doesnt cut corners with inferior price saving quality.. best cheese GRANDE, best flour, best tomatoes.. the finished product is always fresh, hot, and priced fairly.. place is a denstination not a location. great Pizza - try the philly too.. unreal! like being home for a meal.

This is a place that I discovered when I wandered in for a lunch. Their eggplant parm sub was absolutely awesome, and their pizza rivals New York and New Jersey. Everyone was very friendly, and if I find myself in the area again, I would surely stop in again. It is the sort of place that I feel bad isn't closer to my home.

Always great stuff, very clean place, and the pizza/stromboli are to die for, very happy camper.

As a transplanted New Yorker from Long Island (too many of us down here?), I must say the crust made me a little homesick. Everything from the cheese to the sauce, and even the proportions, were perfection and reminiscent of the pizza I grew up on.

Several people at work recomended this restaurant, so I gave it a try. I'm a family of 5 and we always take a vote on how to rate the food. My hubby said 1 star, but me and the kids said 2. It was bland, and tasted like typical mall pizza. It was exceptionally greasy and the crust like cardboard.

Tried to order a same day (order in day and deliver at night) and instead of attempting to be accommodating they were simply like.... "Nope can't do it" click. So what does that tell me??? This is a place that needs a customer service reality check. Sad because I was trying to send a meal to family in need and explained that to the woman on the phone. Oh well. ONE star for poor etiquette.

I don't always write reviews but when I do, I make it worth it! I love pizza by the slice because there's no huge commitment to buying a whole pie I might not like. Turns out, this place is amazing! I got the broccoli chicken pizza and it was perfect. Wasn't greasy, had the right amount of sauce and the broccoli tasted pretty fresh. 3 bucks a slice is pretty fair for a place in Wellington. I love it. Definitely coming back when I'm in the neighborhood and in the mood for pizza.

This place is clean but small, their white pizza is very good. I would recommend. Except I would call ahead, they do tend to get busy.

I love coming here for lunch. Everytime I bring someone new they thank me the next time I see them and they tell me how often they go there now. If you have never been here check it out, the food and the people are great.

Been going here for over 5 years & the food has always been great! My favorite is the cesar salad and a corner slice of sicilian pizza. My husband is also a big fan.

This place is too small for large groups. There pizza is ok. I ordered the meat lovers pizza. I picked it up and the top layer fell right off. The sauce is bland. We sat outside. No service. I would rather go to Mario's pizza down the street.

Great pizza and stromboli! We went in for dinner, after the woman from Ulta recommended this spot, over another pizza place. We were planning on eating there, but we wanted some wine (they don't sell alcohol), so we ordered a spinach roll and a pepperoni roll (to go) and a slice of cheese, to eat while we waited. The pizza was delicious, nice crunch to the crust, that I haven't found elsewhere in FL. The rolls were also delicious, and huge! We did order extra sauce- which you don't really need- but it was so good, I'm glad we did. As for the service, sounds like they've stepped it up- because everyone we dealt with was really friendly and helpful.

My family and I have been going here for many years. WE NEVER GET THE PIZZA. The BEST item on the menu is the CHICKEN PARM. HUGE portion, absolutely fresh and delicious. We've NEVER had a complaint. Another must is the PASTA FAGIOLI soup. Delish! Last, but not least, I love the SALADS too. The antipasti salad with the thick balsamic vinaigrette is my #1 choice. Manager (owner) and staff are nice. Don't bring a BIG crowd, not really set up for many people but take-out is still a great choice.

Looks good at first sight, unfortunately doesn't get better after that. Not great food, not great service... won't be around for long...

We live in WPB and were in Wellington for the day. Basilico's was recommend to us as the best pizza around and we were not disappointed. Would definitely make the drive again just for this restaurant.

Was good.....but nothing close to real New York Pizza. Basilicos was my first Palm Beach County pizza an it was fine but not exactly NY style. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being true hand tossed coal oven Bronx NY italian pizza, I'd give this place a 5.

If you can get over the attitude (it's getting a tad better), it's the best pizza in the county. We love the Biancaneve/ Margheritta with real slices of tomatoes and fresh basil (because it doesn't have canned tomatoes, it won't give me heartburn). Yummers!

Overpriced Florida Pizza. $9 for a slice and a chicken parm roll. Taste is so so. side of sauce will run you $1.00!!

Some things may be overpriced, but the Spaghetti and Meatballs is a good deal. My son and I make a full meal out of one order (for about $9). It's quite good too. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the service. I usually tip a $1 or $2 for carryout (tipping-optional for carryout since this is not really a sit-down restaurant) and I never got so much as a nod or smile acknowledging it. They never say hi or bye. Just "what did you order" and "here it is". A family on our street used to recommend this place, but recently said they would never go back just because of how they are treated. Whoever owns this place should wake-up and fix the service issues. Go for the food and try to ignore the service.

Overpriced, bland pizza with surly teenaged employees who spend too much time on their cell phones and not paying attention to customers. Nice decor, though.

I don't like a pizzeria that tries to bump up flavor by using cheap Parmesan cheese. In a sauce the tomatoes are supposed to make the statement, not the cheese. For the pizza, just use good mozzarella, simple dough and plain sauce. Pizza is simple. My parents came from Italy and opened 3 pizzerias in NYC. Its a shame what some call pizza.

Had 2 orders of stuffed shells and a double salad. Our meal was fantastic. The sauce was delicious and the service was great. It is. 5 star for me. TJ

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
