I've eaten here several times for dinner and sunday brunches. Never left hungry, Food and service is top notch and should be for a fine dining establishment, which there aren't very many in or around Vero Beach. The decor is friendly and comfortable, but feels like eating in someone's dining room. Patrick always greats and visits everyone to make sure the service and food is above par, and it always is. If price matters, you may want to save the QG for special occasions as they are higher than most other restaurants, unless you get they're BOGO card, which then makes them much more competitive, in fact where could you go and get 2 filet mignon dinners for $34. ?? No where.!! Sunday brunch is the BEST. A lot of selections, and menu changes every couple of weeks, so go often, best buy in town for $12./ tax tip and gratuity s are always extra as in any fine dining restaurant but the service is well worth it. Drinks are about double the size of the small plastic cups used at Waldo's but prices are about 50% higher so even the drinks are a value when considering the quantity, and the fact you're drinking out of crystal !! Do your self a favor and try this wonderful place, and ask for Scott to be your waiter, He will cater to your whims.

I decided to err on the side the great reviews big mistake, food was mediocre at best. Looking for a Sunday Brunch ended up here. Walking in it was very dark and kind of dingy, we were not greeted for several minutes then taken back to a table in a room slightly brighter with fake windows (big mirrors with drapes) which were dirty. The area was in serious need of décor. For Brunch it was Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Home Fries, French Toast, Pork Tenderloin, Salad, Fruit Salad and Brussel Sprouts. Dessert was Little Brownies and Bread Pudding. No toast, no rolls, no breads, no pie, no cake. no puddings the sweet tooth will have to live without today. The service was friendly and attentive.

After refusing to be scared off by a couple of Yelp reviews, we recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner for four at The Quilted Giraffe. We found the service to be professional and welcoming - from the warm greeting from the maitre 'd to the attentive and friendly staff who served us. The food was excellent, especially our veal and shrimp dishes. The house wines were quite good. Best of all, we were not rushed. Without question we would come back again. Bud Reilly

I would give this place a negative two stars had friends in town made reservations and the restaurant lost them and could not even care about it! Will never go back after their attitude

This place seems to be popular to the older generation arouns Fort Pierce and Vero. My parents took our family here for Sunday brunch, which wasn't too bad. First the brunch was simply a buffet style of eggs, bacon, sausage, and pork. Very interesting that for the price ($16) there was no omlet station or capable service. Decor is of a different flavor, but again they cater to an older generation in this area, which may appeal to them. Sunday morning brunch was quite similar to convention center food I have during work conventions that feed in upwards of 16k people. Note to management, 3 servers for a hour wait for a 20 table place is not helping you drive revenue. I had to walk up to bar to get a refil on my water, after eating only a portion of my one plate of food from the buffet. In any case, the diner maybe what gets them the reputation, so I will be sure to try it at some point and update my review.

I had the pad seared salmon with walnut my husband veal with mushroom sauce and onion. We greeted warmly and seated promptly. The waitress is very atententive with being bothersome. The live band music is simple marvelous with a saxophone; I love a sax it is so melocolly. Although I would give the service and ombeauance a 5 star I have to give the food at at best. The wine sauce on the veal was not good and the veal was tuff.

Was there last night. They had a very limited menu on Valentine's Day. Choice of the F four entrees, salad and cheesecake with strawberries. ($40) We all liked what we had but felt it was slightly less given the price! The only entree we didn't have among the four of us was the lobster cannelloni. We had the Osso Bucco with mushroom risotto, Pan Seared Salmon, Sliced filet of beef with Bernaise sauce and pot.veg. The dessert was Cheesecake with strawberries and chocolate sauce. The service was great and attentive. As mentioned in many reviews, Patrick, the owner, greeted is as we sat at the table and again before leaving to know if all was OK. He was extremely nice. There was a small band going on at 7:00pm but we left just 10 minutes prior. There seemed to have been two rooms. The first as you come in, slightly darker but very comfortable. We were in the other where the dance floor was. Brighter and where the (band) music is. Many more tables in the area. A lot is written negatively about the decor and feel of the room. Saw nothing wrong with it, they wanted that certain look and it works. Neither drab nor worn nor dated. I'll get back there again for a dinner (with coupon this time-BOGO) also, looking forward to this Sunday brunch I've read so much of in these reviews. Lastly, want to say I always avoided this place because from the outside, seemed small and uninteresting. Well, it couldn't be further from the truth. Available parking and within these two large dining areas, felt very comfortable. You won't be disappointed. They also have an extremely popular and entertaining Doo Wop show (band) on Wednesday nights and I understand reservations a must and a great show. Hoping to do this as well within these next six weeks. Enjoy!

Both my husband and I had the shrimp/scallop dinners. After a 2+ hour wait, it came to us cool. Not hot and looked as though it had been sitting 30 minutes or more. Also, one of the dishes only had "TWO" shrimp. I have tried to e-mail them with no luck. I will not eat there again.

Pretentious condescending inept staff ,overpriced subpar food and a very clumsy table set up ,this place has it all. Where to start..I guess with the reservations. Appearently the name laura is too complex to convey to the mensa member who took the booking so we resorted to giving our last name. When we arrived the front entry is not wheelchair friendly and we almost sent our 95 year old matron into a faceplant in the lobby. The table was a glass top table with no table cloth and it was quite dirty on the underside. The waiter slammed the water glasses down after fondling the rims with his bare hands. The bread was served with an oil of some sort with a bizzare seasoning, and don't you dare ask for butter. Appearently that it's akin to asking for carnal knowledge with the staff's mother s. The salad was a study in economic depression as it was a few limp shards of lettuce and a half a teaspoon of dressing. The steak, when it came, tasted as though it was prepared in the hobo camp in the woods out back from whatever dead things were laying around, seriously, that steak is prob one of the grossest things I have ever put in my mouth. When i tried to return it the manager put on one of the best examples of passive agressive behavior I have ever seen by arguing with me.The way I see it ,at those prices you at least want something that won't make you sick. The waiter followed in the same vein of behavior by implying nothing is wrong with the steak and radaiting a sneering air of condesendance. I eventually got a different cut and I realized, the chef is a special needs person as no one would make food this bad on purpose . I could go on but you get the point. All in all you would be better off paying someone to kick you in the genitals repeatedly,it would be cheaper and more enjoyable then dining at the quilted giraffe.

Have been to the Sunday brunch twice now and both times was pleasantly surprised, the decor is a little odd kind of reminded me of a wedding reception, staff are friendly and attentive and the food was delicious a great selection at a more than decent price of $11. All in all a great find in a town that believe only has two other options for a Sunday brunch buffet.

The food for our party of 4 was outstanding. Terrific waitress and service was superb. All 4 of us had a different dish - duck, seafood pasta, steak, and veal. Even our very picky eater was happy. Frankly, I would rate it 5 stars but the interior needs a major renovation. Very dated, aged, scruffy appearance.

Excellent atmosphere. Excellent food. Excellent wine selection. I adore this local goodie.

Had a great meal. There were 4 of us and everyone had a great meal. The creme brûlée was awesome! Great service. Patrick is a gracious host. Totally enjoyable evening.

Got sick after eating here. Not enough business to keep the food turned over is my thought. Probably should avoid the place.

To say the exterior of The Quilted Giraffe is nondescript, would be kind. In fact, if it had not been highly recommended, I would not have had the slightest interest in discovering what was inside! And, I would have missed one of, if not the best, meal I had during my two week stay in Vero Beach. Hidden beyond the dowdy exterior and generic signage, was an eclectic mix of artfully draped animal print fabrics and warm-toned wood architecture and highly glossed quality furniture. The proprietor, and our host, Patrick, was equally polished and quite charming....exactly who'd you expect to be responsible for such understated elegance. To prove that I was not completely overtaken with the decor, I'll move on to the reason you're here... the details of our sumptuous feast. Our party of four enjoyed cocktails, appetizers and entrees served by an enthusiastically friendly waitress who, with her down-home demeanor, diluted the formality of the venue, but deftly lead our palates towards the appetizer special of an "incredibly juicy & tender mini steak tacos that has a bit of a warm, spicy kick" - and our two orders delivered exactly as promised. Another in our group ordered the Mussels in White Wine & Butter sauce which, if our dining companion was the " sharing type", could have fed all 4 of us! Kidding aside, the dish was as huge as the flavor and our friend wanted to doggie- bag the sauce & put it on paste for lunch the next day. I enjoyed the Duck in a Mandarin orange champagne reduction - an ample, flavorful offering which I would not hesitate to order on my next visit. My husband was so impressed with the steak tacos, he ordered another steak dish (a special) a 16 oz. dry-rubbed Rib-Eye - perfectly cooked & seasoned and it cut like butter! This review is very long, but well- deserved......looking forward to a return visit.

Beware, the ribeye steak price is not listed on the menu, the servers probably wont tell you, and will cost $43. Basically double everything else on menu. And honestly the steak was average or less, and served with 2 slices of potatoes. you would do better with high quality ribeye at Outback steakhouse for $18-ish. So do you really want to do business with a owner/business that intentionally treats customers this way?????? I think not.

This place has new owners since the bad reviews a year or so ago. We went there on a Saturday evening to celebrate a birthday. I can only say the place is OK. The bread that is placed on the table is just supermarket quality. Our server was nice enough and described the specials but did not give their prices. This is a pet peeve of mine, I don't like surprises on the bill. When she came back to take the order she didn't remember if she mentioned the specials. I ordered the crab cakes the only sides were mashed potatoes or rice, neither of which I like along with green beans. There was a choice of salad or soup, I had the salad with blue cheese dressing which was over dressed and limp. The crab cakes were small and bland, the accompanying mustard aoli was overwhelming. The rice was small and tablespoon sized with 7 nicely cooked green beans on top. They do not have a espresso machine and none of the desserts were enticing. All in all just a fair meal.
