If you don't have the exact address on the navigation system you WILL miss this. Assuming you have arrived, you will find it a very cozy little café. It has a no shoes up at the front so make sure you're ready and prepared!! They had a decent selection of food such as wraps, soups, breakfast menus. I tried the strawberry mango smoothie and the Cajun chicken wrap which were both amazingly delicious. If I didn't live two hours away, I would undoubtedly have this restaurant on my calendar for a biweekly breakfast/lunch for my family and I ! Oh! and the best part is the staff is absolutely incredible! Thanks for an unexpected awesome experience! Kids got an Oreo smoothie which was mediocre. But they loved it so I am a happy sister . They were plain Jane and got a bagel cream cheese and grilled cheese which they thought was the best they had in their lives. Ahhhh, kids! I love them

Absolute bliss. I am so happy I decided to heed the yelp reviews about this small town cafe. The food is simply amazing and the prices are very affordable for the food quality. I ordered the steak wrap and my goodness, I've never thought a pressed wrap can taste so amazing. It was gooey and savory, I wish I had the appetite to eat another! Hopeful that I will be in that area again so I can stop by and have an amazing meal!

Great food. Cute friendly place. Lots of locals come here. Homemade salads. Parked on side block. Had a great local feel. Very reasonable rates also

I was traveling through Vero Beach and stopped at the Barefoot cafe for lunch. What a great experience! The employee engaged with us and made great suggestions! The food was delicious and came out quickly. Wish I could stay to try breakfast! Great local place!

Me and the boyfriend came here on a whim and had a great time, the staff is awesome and loves to chat with the bar sitters. They kept referencing people by name and were very welcoming! I had the Barefoot Wrap and it was just bursting with flavor! I don't think I've ever had a wrap that good! The bf on the other hand... He had the Caliente Sub, he said if you're daring enough you should do the same, it was full of flavor and kicked like you'd expect it to, very well done!

Excellent if you're looking for a quick, simple, and delicious lunch. Had a portobello mushroom soup and Tuscan sandwich. Both were excellent. Place has a lot of movement and is busy, but staff is friendly, courteous, and efficient. Seems like a local place which was appreciated for someone driving through town.

This place depicts so well, what I love about eating in Vero Beach. There is nothing as amazing as being greeted by the owner/chef wife/husband team here! Always cheerful and friendly, great service with a local smile. Now onto the food.... Everything is good! The wraps, salads, and subs are all equally awesome! Most of the sauces and dressings are made in house, like the balsamic dressing which is amazing! I love the calypso chicken wrap, the blue cheese chicken salad, and whatever soup they dreamed up today... The meat lovers pizza soup they made one day was to die for! This is a great place for a quick bite, and I never mind lunching alone, I eat at the bar and chat with Lisa:) Thanks guys!!

Was happy that my friend suggested that we go here for lunch last week. Was greeted by two helpful workers that were very friendly and knowledgable. We ordered a Pecan Chicken Salad and a smoothie. While sitting at the bar, I was introduced to the owners and was amazed how they knew so many patrons by name. They gave hugs to a seasonal resident leaving for the summer and then greeted a local business owner by name. With this type of service and outstanding food, I look forward to becoming a local regular.

Since I eat out so much traveling for work, I wanted something a bit healthier. This will definitely be my new lunch spot when i'm in town! Lisa was so helpful and friendly. I got the Tuscan wrap with 1/2 potato 1/2 macaroni salad (I've never been to a place that did that for you!) And a strawberry banana smoothie. It was the best salad I've had and the smoothie was amazing. The sandwich was so fresh and was more than enough of a portion. Can't wait to come back and have more!

Keep your eyes open or you will miss it, as it is located on one of the side streets of Vero Beach. Only open for breakfast and lunch, they offer some very healthy items. Which is quite rare. The place is quite small and eclectic. If in the area, I will definitely stop in again.

We come to Vero quite a bit, but tend to stay in the resort area. This time we wanted to try something different, and heard about the barefoot cafe. They are located in the Theater District (I didn't even know that existed :) This appears to be a family owned soup, salad and sandwich shop. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived. the first thing I noticed were the special. I had the Chicken and blue cheese pannini and potato bacon soup. What a great combo. the cheese was perfectly melted and the chicken was cooked just right. The soup was not to think and so yummy. My wife got the Seared tuna salad. While it looked nice, the tuna was nowhere near sushi grade. I tried a bit, and would not recommend it. They also have great shakes and cookies. We "invented" our own PB&J shake by combining strawberry and peanut butter. They may even add it to the menu!

We ate here for lunch two days in a row because the food and the service were outstanding. It is a small family run business and their attention to detail is amazing. I went there with my niece and nephew both days and we were joined by other family members both days. On the first day, a milkshake was spilled on a family member's foot due to the tall straw. They were so nice and apologetic, cleaning up the floor and her foot in record time. She was laughing and said she never expected a cold foot bath with a foot massage thrown in. She said it was actually refreshing. I would definitely return again.

I apologize for writing such a horrible review before. I got barefoot cafe and another place mixed up. I am sure barefoot cafe tastes wonderful and I would love to come here sometime. Will plan to take my mom here for lunch very soon! Sorry again, Lisa!

Amazing Fresh Lunch. They have a great menu of grilled wraps and frech baked subs. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. All the side dishes are home made. The best potato salad and macaronni salad too! Nice island like atmosphere with Reggae and Jimmy Buffet music..

Listen folks, nothing beats this awesome little establishment for outstanding lunch choices with a healthy flair (if you'd like; they also have some incredible "off your good diet" selections). With over twenty years in the hospitality/restaurant business-I know the difference, and search high and low for such culinary treasures as The Barefoot Cafe. I have found it and more here, and only wish my schedule would permit more regular visits. Went in yesterday and as always, didn't even have to say a word: Steve began to prepare my Barefood Salad (add shrimp, no cheese) while I sat at the bar and observed the (uniquely typical of them) friendly, organized, lovingly-kind to all patrons and first name greetings to all who entered the door. Lisa and Steve are an adorable couple who work beautifully together, share strong work ethic and a great sense of humor and proudly display the fruits of their labor occasionally overhead with moving photos of their extensive world travels. Love this place, love these people!

What a gem of a breakfast spot...the wraps are delicious!!! We had 4 different kinds in our group and each was wonderful! They are grilled like a panini after the ingredients are added....makes them gooey and yummy! Wonderful service makes this the best breakfast we had in Vero!
