I was so hoping that the negative reviews we read before dinner would not prove to be true for us. Unfortunately, we too had a really bad experience. Our dinner started out on the wrong foot with the waiter basically ignoring us after we chose not to order any drinks. We were not only ignored, we were not even given menus to look at! We had to ask the young lady pouring the water for the menus. Two of our party ordered the French onion soup and I ordered a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was quite good. The French onion soup was not good at all. There was a strange herb in the soup and the onions were not sautéed before putting them in the soup (they were hard). For our main entree two of our party had the fillet of sole and two of us had the grouper. The waiter brought out a tray with the two fillets of sole beautifully presented and told us that he would take them back to the kitchen to be filleted. Five minutes later, they came out. My wife's sole was now cold and her first three bites each had a bone in them. We asked the waiter to take the sole back to warm it up which he did. The other sole was warm, but neither one of them had any flavor. The two of us who had the grouper were also disappointed. There was really no flavor to the grouper. The asparagus which was also on the plate was severely undercooked. The restaurant did take off the charges for the one fillet of sole, but overall, we had a very disappointing experience and will never return. I am not sure what happened to this restaurant in the last two years since we last at there, but it is a marked change. With this level of service and quality, I would be surprised if this restaurant is around for a long time. There are so many better alternatives on South Beach starting with Di Mare which never disappoints.

I really don't get what the fuss is about. The food was so-so... 2 out of every 3 items on the menu were done with beurre blanc. Yes, I realize that it is French cuisine, but show a little imagination. The staff were cordial, and efficient, but lacked any personality - you could tell they were just doing their job. All in all, the food was good but not great. We also didn't care for the snooty clientele.

This is the worst food I have eaten in Vero Beach. The quality of the ingredients was sub-par, and the food was not properly cooked. The service was also lousy. I am very disappointed that this restaurant was so unprofessional in all aspects. The ambiance of the space is lovely, but that's where anything good stops. Something is terribly wrong here that needs to be fixed.

Absolutely amazing!! They knew what a kir was, knew when to leave us alone and when to come to the table, refilled our wine without asking or disturbing our conversation. The food was melt in your mouth, talk about it for days, outstanding!!!!!

They have clearly shrunk the menu which is probably a good thing. But they dropped our favorite rack of lamb. And did not have pompano either. But the food was quite good still. My crab cake was GINORMOUS and could have been 2 instead. But delicious. Mahi mahi great too. Lobster bisque was good but a tad less Brandt flavor from before but a massive but if lobster meat included While the food was as good or nearly as good as before but the service was not. Slow and erratic. He brought 3 salads and then 5 minutes later my soup. Odd. Not the service quality one expects at these price points.

Unfortunate how far this place has fallen. Really was a highlight over the past several years. General consensus was food was was mediocre. 4 people had lamb, all of which were cold and the one person who had a steak said it was overdone. Not cheap so you can be better served elsewhere in my opinion.
