I'm in love with this place. Very often go there with my family. Always great benedict eggs with different fillings, big portions. We have tried there lunch too,its amazing,a lot of choice, you dont know what to take because so much things in menu. Very friendly staff and good view from the big clean windows. I love planes,my husband is pilot and after breakfast we usually go to the runway and look on the planes,on jets, take offs and landings.

Great breakfast joint and even though it's kind of hidden away at the small, local airport, it can get very busy. Food is great, service was quick. People were nice too. Recommend.

Love this place. Great home town spot with amazing food and fun folks. Recommend the Prime Rib and Oysters, very inexpensive and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place for a fun meal without any stress or long lines.

My favorite restaurant in all of Indian River county! The service is always fast and friendly, the decor is beautiful, and so is the view! For breakfast, I recommend their warm brie bagel, salmon bagel, or fresh berry bowl! For dinner, their prime rib is out of this world! Their shrimp scampi over pasta is also very good! My favorite sides here are sweet potato and rice. You always feel like you're at home when you're at CJ Cannon's! I recommend getting a booth window seat for the awesome view!

What a cool spot! A friend took me here for breakfast while I was in town. At first I was a little confused when he pulled into the parking lot of the Vero Beach Airport. I enjoyed looking at the planes outside and then realized there was a restaurant there as well. Neat! He explained a bit of the history of the building as we were on our way in. We had a great view of the runway and were able to watch planes taking off and landing all during our meal. They had a great selection on their menu and I loved the breakfast casserole and biscuits that I ordered. I'm quite certain it wasn't even remotely good for me, but it tasted so good that I totally forgot. The service was great and the prices were cheap. You got a lot of bang for your buck. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back in the future. Its a hidden gem that anyone who is in town should try out.

Jan 2015. We have been to Canon's several times in the past 5 years, this year was a great disappointment . My husband ordered the liver and onions, mashed potatoes , and creamed spinach..need I tell you what the presentation of that meal looked like? The least they could have done was to put the spinach in a side dish...My ribs were dry and overdone. I think the draw here is a lot of food and reasonable prices..not quality so much.

Food was decent and portions were fine. Good deals on drinks - two drinks for price of one. Service was really really bad though. Staff interrupted our dinner constantly. No waiting for breaks in conversations at this place. It was really excessive otherwise I wouldn't even mind. It was kind of absurd. Right in the middle of jokes and stories the server would interrupt. It was a once a year gathering of family. The staff were pretty scarce and blunt with hospitality. No shortage of food but a drought of hospitality. We weren't there long but we were rushed out quick. The staff were circling around like vultures ready to take our plates. I was asked if I was finished while I had food in my hand and a quarter of my entree left. The setting was really cool - it's right at the Vero Beach Airport and you can see small jets taking off as you dine. It could have been really nice given the setting but it wound up being the biggest dud in our four day mini Christmas vacation.

We have been here several times for lunch and dinner, kind of our go-to place when we are too tired to make dinner. Large menu, but I have my favorites - tuna melt, chicken parm sub, Cobb salad. My husband is an aviation guy, so we love sitting at the window to watch the air traffic. Off topic...but the windows are always clean! Service is always good, the food is fresh, appropriate prices. They do seem to cater to the older clientele, often we hear someone asking what the pudding options are. No matter, we'll keep going even though we are always the youngest ones there (35 and 38).

Best restaurant in Vero for menu, quality, quantity and service. Reasonably priced. Good atmosphere.

My father worked at piper for a while we always came to breakfast here. The food is awesome!! It's a great bargain, $6 eggs biscuit and home fries OR hash browns. My dad loves their grits and sister is a huge fan of the corn beef hash. Servers are wry nice and vey attentive, over just a great experience. Haven't experienced dinner or lunch but have been told all meals are awesome here!

Great place located at the Vero Beach airport. Good food, and you can't beat the location if you're flying in. They have more than just $100 hamburgers; they have $100 fish sandwiches, $100 cheese steaks, and lots of other $100 menu items. For those not familiar, nothing on the menu actually costs $100.

Overlooking the runway of Vero Beach airport, this "Don't Miss It" is pretty well-hidden. From the moment you enter this understated eatery, you feel at home. Pat, the owner & Betty, her "co-pilot" are the very definition of down home southern charm! We visit CJ's often when in Vero as its a fav of my parents ( full-time Vero residents). So far I've had the veal Oscar (3 x's) and the, tilapia with shrimp & crabmeat stuffing, and hubby usually gets the steak crab-cake combo. Every dish is delish! And each one comes with a choice of 2 sides. The exte naive menu truly has something for everyone - assorted fish dishes to several cuts ( and sizes) of steak. Burgers, sandwiches, ribs, pork chops, meatloaf and excellent homemade pot roast. In lieu of bread, they serve homemade corn muffins & garlic, cheddar biscuits which are to die for! And, for all those who like their cocktails.....most drinks are 2 for 1 - can't beat that! And, you can end your meal with the included deserts of peach cobbler, peanut butter mousse, tapioca & puddings; or, choose one of the other yummiest a la carte ( mom's fav....strawberry shortcake) CJ's is a casual homey restaurant that I guarantee you will love!!!

Just had a delicious dinner. We each had one of the specials. Even though there were quite a few people there, we only waited about 10 min. for a table. Portions were generous, too full for dessert. My only negative comment was that it was kind of noisy in there. Delightful entertainment while waiting. :)

Excellent service from the staff. Everyone was super friendly. We were all between the ages of 25-31 but we had to have been at least 40 years younger than any of the other diners. I had the blue crab eggs benedict and they were delicious. The biscuits were really good too. Definitely a hidden gem in Vero Beach. Don't let the location (in the local airport) throw you off. The only downside was that the mimosas were seriously $5.95 each for probably a 12oz drink. Maybe I'm just used to my local $3 mimosas but I thought that was a little steep. Other than that, the prices were reasonable and there was a lot to choose from on their brunch menu.

I popped into this restaurant for breakfast on a whim. I spent about 8 dollars. I had oatmeal, coffee, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 cinnamon toast and coffee. It was excellent, great view of the airport and swift, courteous service. I'll be back.

Love our friend at C.J. Cannons! The owners are real friendly and it passes to their employees. Over all the food is excellent and the service is top notch. Breakfast lunch or dinner C.J Cannons is a winner! A real locals favorite.

We enjoyed delicious Brunswick Stew Soup (BBQbeef & chicken with tomatoes & corn), meatloaf smothered in onions & cheese, & grilled Reuben sandwich (with no extra butter/oil added to the bread as requested). Friendly staff & great view!

The bartender was Fantastic! She was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was good and not too expensive. There's a great variety on the menu.

C.J. Cannon's Restaurant and Lounge has been serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for more than a quarter century. It has become a favorite destination for local Vero Beach residents, visitors and celebrities alike. The restaurant's theme is casual with an American and southern style menu with an emphasis on comfort food. CJ's is located at the Vero Beach Airport and overlooks the runways which offer great views of aircraft as they take off and land here in Vero Beach. CJ's has lots of retro aircraft memorabilia, celebrity autographs and pictures scattered throughout the restaurant. The WiFi was free, the staff was friendly, the service was good and the food was great.

A true gem in Vero Beach. Enjoyed breakfast so much I took the family there for dinner the same day. A surprise for the location. Try the skillet breakfast and the ribs for dinner. Wait staff and host were top notch.
