Okay, the ice cream is good -- I'll give you that, but whomever is doing the hiring is not noticing that they're employing guys with terrible manners. My sister and I walked in here and the guy serving us asked us if we were lesbians and dating (and then proceeded to ask other customers what they thought). It's happened twice now, and I am never going back. You just don't ask stuff like that to people you're serving or don't know...

Loads of ice cream to chose from. I was overwhelmed by the choices. They also have a coffee and latte menu. The place was clean, the people were very friendly the service was quick, The ice cream was yummy.

i enjoyed my blackrasberry waffle cone immensly, good size and all. but i am way to cheap to be spending $5.10 plus tip for an ice cream cone. won't be back. overpriced

Today 4/11/15 we had a really good meal at the Board Walk Cafe and Ice Cream Company. I had a Mahi. Sandwich. The sandwich had a Large Fresh Fillet. It was really good. My wife had a Vegetarian Sandwich it was Fresh and very good also. We ended up next door and had ice cream. There are 50 fresh flavors. I will definitely come back. Great Food, Fair Price and right on the beach who could ask for anything more. Well Done.

I came here for the ice cream and not the food so I'll talk about that. Options options options ice cream on a cone ice cream in a cup or an ice cream float. I of course went with the vanilla ice cream float which was basically ice cream and Coca-Cola soda which brought back so many memories of my grandfather making this for me when I was little and I haven't had one in so many years. I really don't have a sweet tooth at all I did enjoy my ice cream float but only had half of it. now if you have a sweet tooth please indulge yourself. Pick your ice cream of choice and have a seat outside on their benches enjoy the Florida sun and the breeze coming from the beach.

The fish ceviche is amazing! I can't get enough of it. Great fish sandwich as well. Cute outdoor eating area. And to finish...Sunken Treasure ice cream! Grateful they also offer dairy free sorbet for my allergic kids.

Ice cream was pretty good but way overpriced. The outside sitting area is nice but the staff could be a little friendlier. I don't think we will be back simply because two medium cups was $10. Too many other options for that price.

Cute little beach food joint. Can't beat the location. Go for boardwalk walk and stop here for craft beer. Tremendously friendly staff. Clam strips tender, can substitute for the side fries. Fish tacos (per my husband) perfectly cooked fish w sweet topping. Competes w grill down the boardwalk, which does not serve beer. Jaycee diner does not take credit, this place does but no AmEx.

great location. good food. i ordered fish and chips and got like 4 or 5 strips of fish and plenty of chips to make it look like you have lots of food, the chicken wings are very good. the service is very good too. alex is very polite.

I generally enjoy their ice cream but there's this one kid who works there who I dread getting. He looks like he hates his job and just DGAF. He gives the smallest scoops possible, leaving huge holes in the cup and seems like he purposefully goes for the scoops without the "good stuff" so ur basically eating plain ice cream. Maybe he's not strong enough to scoop it out...

A must visit for every trip to Vero! Garbage can is my son's favorite. They'll pack pints to take home if you'd like.

Great ice cream and frozen yogurt. The black raspberry ice cream is especially delicious. The service was quite good. Polite young man who gave healthy portions. We will definitely return!

I read a lot of great reviews for this ice cream shop and was very excited to try it out. While we were looking at the assortment of flavors, one of the employees let me know that we could try 2 flavors. I found that kind of amusing. I've never been limited on how many flavors I could sample at an ice cream shop. I don't know if they've had issues with people sampling 10+ flavors and then not purchasing anything, or what led to this strange rule. I ended up getting a strawberry and vanilla bean cup and it was very good. My husband got a malt and was pleased with it. The ice cream here is supplied by the Ice Cream Club. Their ice cream can be found in many South Florida ice cream shops. Overall it's a great place to grab a sweet treat with a stellar ocean view, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this shop on my next trip to Vero.

Good selection, a bit overpriced. Overrun with snowbirds, not a great place for kids during season. May get another chance in summer but for now we are staying away.

Definitely a "Must Visit" when in town. The kids ask for it by name and they love the Trash Can ice cream as well as several of the other chunky flavors. I'm a big fan of the Creamy Praline. Every time we've been in, it gets busy in spurts so if there's a line when you arrive just be aware that it moves quickly and you'll get your ice cream fix soon. Rules to remember: 1. Know what you want when it's your turn. 2. Once it's scooped, it's yours. They also offer smoothies, shakes, and coffee drinks but we've only ever eaten the ice cream.

I usually do not write restaurant reviews but I feel compelled to write this one because of a bad experience. It has been my observation over the years that people in the restaurant business are in the business because they like people-- not the case with the staff and owner at the ice cream shop. First, they served my girlfriend and me ice cream in an unwelcoming manner void of any conversation. We left the shop and sat in the outside seating area. At the time, one of the staff came out and removed the rubber matt by the front door which was confusing because we were still there eating and the floors were wet. Then my girlfriend went back inside to get some napkins -- when she came back outside, she slipped on the wet floor and fell to the ground. The two workers watched from inside the shop with no reaction as I picked her off the floor. After making sure she was ok-- I went inside and told them she slipped on the wet floor because they had removed the rubber mat. The owner did not apologize- I'm fact he got defensive and said that we did not read the sign that said: wet floor. I told him the sign was ineffective because it was inside the shop and my girlfriend fell outside the shop. He stood there and said nothing. No apology , no concern for his customer's safety and well being. Suffice it to say -- we will never return to this House of Rude.

The best ice cream in Vero Beach! Try the dulce de leche... mmmmmmm! Located right across the street from the boardwalk at Jacyee, this place never gets too busy but the ice cream is to die for. Cravings has cornered the market on cookies and bagels and sandwiches and other fun stuff, but for ice cream, do yourself a favor and walk over to Boardwalk.

My husband and I were craving ice cream one evening and Boardwalk has been our go-to for several years now when family and friends are in town. As we entered the store on said evening, I noticed that they were cleaning and sweeping up the floor. I also noticed that the worker was sweeping into a dustpan using the bristles of a broom. As he finished cleaning up, he prepared to take our order and I watched intently whether he washed his hands. He put the broom behind the counter then proceeded to take out order WITHOUT washing his hands or putting on gloves. I questioned him about this and he failed to see an issue. I promptly left the store and will not be returning anytime soon.
