Flynn's is an amazing addition to the island of venice. They use all fresh and local foods that taste delicious. For lunch we got the Beet and Kale salad and the grilled red onion sandwich. They were so tasty! They even have craft beers! I will be back, thank you Flynn's for coming to our town :)

I stopped in for the Tapas and Wine offering at this new restaurant on Venice Ave in Venice. What a great find - creatively inspired menu choices all made with the freshest of fresh ingredients and simply sublime and "deelucious". A dream list of interesting high quality competitively priced wines from around the globe. Awesome ambiance and fantastic service. Will be back for sure!

We were happy to find this new restaurant on our trip to Venice this year. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our dinners this past weekend. She had grilled salmon and I had the mixed seafood plate. Both dishes were excellent. The owner, a lovely lady from London, stopped by our table to greet us. We wished her well on her new restaurant. I'm sure it will be a success. Will be back.

Unfortunately, this place is not ready for prime time. We were told this restaurant opened 11/1/14, but they still don't have their act together. While we had reservations, we waited about 10 minutes at reception while 2 or 3 people tried to figure out their table situation. There were three empty tables visible. After seating we waited another 10 minutes for a server to show up. Our salads came fairly promptly. No ground pepper was offered, but they were above average. Another 30 minutes for the entrees. Chicken was good, filet mignon somewhat chewy. Our wine and water glasses were only occasionally refilled and no effort was made to clear the table prior to coffee and desert. Another 30 minutes until the desert arrived - how long can it take to cut a slice of cake? Overall, a few high spots, along with some low ones, with the food; an extensive and reasonably priced wine list, albeit disorganized with reds and whites intermingled. The killer is the truly abysmal service for a restaurant at this price point. Onè gets the impression this could be a decent restaurant with competent management. Maybe someday, but not today.

Valentine dinner was reserved two weeks in advance for 7PM. On arrival we were informed there would be a wait before we could be seated. Nearly 20 minutes later we got a spot at the bar instead of the booth we asked for when the reservation was made. No booths were available and we were offered a high top table which we took. Twenty minutes later we got to order drinks and appetizers. Drinks arrived eventually and appetizers sometime later. Entrees were finally ordered but not until about 9PM. Waitress simply had too much interest in talking to her friends, little knowledge of taking an interest in the clientele, no knowledge whatsoever of "gluten free" (not being touched by human hands is not the definition). Meals were served about 2 hours after we arrived. Food was actually very good but the overall experience was terrible! Being ignored by the waitress was awful, several times we had to communicate through the busboy -who by the way did come back to check up on whether anything had happened. Basically was embarrassed after touting the place to the friends we took with us! Place was terribly overbooked!

Has continued to improve ( was very good before). Tastefully decorated and spacious. Delightful selection of wine ( reasonably priced. They have a wine bar, that is not just an afterthought with a tasteful bar menu. The dining menu is remarkable for the quality of ingredients and graceful presentations. Susan, the owner, attends to every detail and is wonderful host. We have dined here several times, A welcome addition to the community

Went there for a Chamber luncheon a couple of months ago. It was fantastic. The owner was there and very attentive. The food was great and they had to serve a lot of people all at the same time. Great job and great food.

Amazing wine selection, great food, great service. So happy to have a farm fresh menu choice in our community. Already one of my favorite new spots for lunch and tapas!

A pleasant surprise in Venice, FL. Tastefully decorated, this restaurant serves a diverse menu and an excellent Airline Chicken with a very Italian Polenta (complete with pancetta and parmigiano). Desert was a fresh Blackberry Cobbler, not to be found in that "other" Venice. Worth the visit.

My mom has been a business owner on Venice Avenue for over 25 years after selling her fine dining restaurant in Connecticut. She is EXTREMELY picky when it comes to choosing restaurants. Flynn's has become her/our favorite go-to lunch place on Saturdays. Try the burger for $10 served with bacon on a toasted brioche bun. The fries are mouth-watering, and hand-cut. Tasteful, lovely decor and limited outside seating. We have been back multiple times since trying this place on a whim a few months ago. It's locally owned places like this that make Venice such a special place. Hopefully the locals support them over the summer.

I've been vacationing in Venice for more than 20 years. Flynn's is excellent food, beer and wine only.... BUT....best food on the Avenue! We had the grouper and swordfish. Amazing! The wine selection was perfect. One of us drinks white one red. Plenty to choose from. Do not overlook this great restaurant

in town for a few days and not familiar with the area we were looking for somewhere to eat. We were perusing the menu when exiting customers spoke glowingly of their meals. We had a a great meal and a very good selection of reasonably priced wines. Hope we have the time to go back
