I really enjoyed this bar. We stopped in on a Friday night randomly looking for a different place. They had karaoke when we were there and honestly, the participants were really good! The vibe in this place was a lot of fun. Drinks were reasonably priced and really just a good time overall. The bartender that was working that Friday night was super nice. I would highly recommend checking this place out when in St Pete Beach and looking for a non tourist spot.

Fun very relaxed atmosphere. My girl and I were overdressed as usual. She had about 15 people glaring at her. Her dress was provocative but seriously? Very uncomfortable. They do lots of karaoke and play every type of music. Overall a fun place but I will not leave my girl alone. Walk them to the bathroom too as drunks dudes and other girls will hit on your girl!

Awesome place with a fun atmosphere! Cj's had more going on then any other place in the strip. The rum runner was amazing; you must try it but be sure to only have a few because they will sneak up on you in a good way though! Bartender was awesome and so was Cj's. We will definitely be back next time were in TI!

Finally a fun place to go on Treasure Island! Cool crowd, everyone friendly, has both a club feel and Bar or Pub with lots of games and good pool. Drinks are priced great, barmaids great too! Plenty of good food within steps.. Plan to be here anytime I'm on the island .. Thx for s fun evening!

I had a great time here. The people were pretty chill, and the guy who ran the karaoke was welcoming. The only things that would've made it any better would be 1. If there was no smoking, and 2. If there was access to view the song list prior to getting called up on stage. (The KJ said that he had so many that they wouldn't fit in a book... so I suggest he try putting them on a website for easy access).

There is something about a dive bar I just can't resist. This particular establishment was well above the normal quality level though I did not get to try the toilets so beware of that should you stop by. Smoking is allowed in this bar but it never felt too bad - have to admit it was earlier in the evening and it wasn't too busy. There were several bands who played while we were there and the volume level was good so a conversation could still be had. I would ask that the owners examine their soda guns as the tonic water looked and tasted like it was bleeding with the sour m ix apart from that I will straddle up to that bar in the future without hesitation.

Definitely a dive bar/meat market. Was there on a Saturday and it was a Karaoke fest from hell. Worst singers ever! The bartender was awesome though. Even though the place was packed, she was very attentive to me. So yeah, if you like divey places with bad karaoke singers and great people watching, CJ's is the place for you!

The staff are so friendly, as is management and the karaoke DJ. I had an amazing night with a few good friends, and everyone was wonderful. I left my card and they mailed it to me two days later. I will absolutely be back (and less wasted).

Hard to find, but worth the trouble. CJ's is a fine little watering hole with live music, a small dance floor, a shitty pool table and one huge bar. No frills here. It's a bar. Prices are fair, drinks are stiff and the service is speedy, even on a busy night. Hungry? Walk out the back door and you're at VIP Mexican food and Ricky T's, which is another bar, but with a large menu. So going hungry isn't an option. CJ's did have a crock pot filled with complimentary hot dogs near the popcorn machine. I'm not sure if that's always there, or if it was for Labor Day. Either way, it was a nice gesture.

As others have pointed out, make no mistake about this place. It is a DIVE! If there was a term for lower than "dive bar" this would get it. It's a drunken, over 50's, crowd that are interesting but not necessarily entertaining to watch. Karaoke was on part for the type of clientele so I can't knock it. I typically enjoy the occasional dive bar, this spot was not one of them. Between the crowd and the bartender not wanting to make a drink we ordered, even though it was one of their specials, there are a variety of reasons that we probably wouldn't revisit. This place needs a category of its own. I do suggest checking it out, just because. It was like being in a Twilight Zone episode.
