A staff member was extremely rude in my latest visit. I asked for soy milk and the barista proceeded to pour me shots of soy milk and explain to me the health code (which I totally understand, I'm just usually handed the entire carton) and say "I'm not sure how they do it in MA, but this is how we do it here". Totally rude and unnecessary way to treat a customer!

Very friendly staff. The terrace in front of this Starbucks is great to sit and enjoy your coffee. The strawberry smoothie is delicious with the high temperatures at the villages.

Five stars for being right on Town Square with outdoor seating. It's only SBUX on the three village squares. The other two have Dunkin Donuts, which I generally loathe as they don't automatically offer soy. It's up to franchise owner's discretion. Nice lady behind counter explained something interesting to me. They are busiest store in country when it comes to decaf coffee sales. Didn't know the old people liked decaf so much. But what truly drives revenues at SBUX are frappuccino type drinks, which don't really sell at this location. Gratefully, this location will remain open. It's a total shame they are not opening one at new Brownwood Square however.

Great Starbucks! They move the line pretty quickly and everyone is always so nice. This is usually the only Starbucks we'll stop at because you're not in line for 30 minutes!

Great place to relax with a morning cup of coffee. An added plus is the outdoor seating with the no smoking policy, although some try to smoke there anyway from time to time and they have to be told not to by staff. The Google provided WiFi is not as reliable as the former AT&T WiFi, but Google has a support hotline to assist with connection issues. The number is: 1-855-446-2374. I love this Starbucks. The baristas are all great and so nice. Almost everytime I've been here there has been a long line but the line moves quickly. Overall great Starbucks location, friendly, & efficient.

Employees here today on 16 March 2015 at 2:00 pm were the most rude and unprofessional Starbucks employees we have ever run into. They were out of salt but we didn't know that so as my daughter was ordering a salted caramel mocha frappachino WITHOUT salt the employee interrupted her with "we are out of salt" instead of waiting for her to finish her order. She then didn't listen and made the entire order wrong. Started making a hot drink with the wrong cup and as my wife said it should be a cold drink the employee threw the cup across the work area and said something under her breath as she started with the cold drink. The order comes out still as a hot drink so it had to be remade again. When my daughter finally received the drink it had whipped cream after ordering without. She just scrapped it off in the trash but then went back up to see if they could drizzle caramel in it and another employee sarcastically said back to her "next time let us scrape the whipped topping off". They all were having a bad day but they didn't listen to the order and made mistakes. It was their mistake but they made us feel terrible and overall it was a really bad experience.

Staff was friendly and super funny. Got into a western character when a song that sounded western came on. Made a funny comment when an Italian song came on. My drink came out amazing, and I was greeted when I walked in.

My favorite spot in the Villages is Sumter Landing and one of my hot spots here is Starbucks! Go Figure! The staff here is very friendly and the service here is quick and efficient. We never had to wait in long lines, we were usually out in 5 minutes or less. The last day that we were here, they made a mistake on the hubby's drink and they were super apologetic and remade the drink with pleasure. Gotta love a great Starbucks...

i know.. its a starbucks... how special could it be? But in the villages of florida in the sumter landing town square, the starbucks is the place to be on a wednesday morning. its a starbucks, so you get the standard coffee, cakes, and all that jazz. so yes, they made my soy latte perfectly, but im not writing my review based on that experience, im writing it based on the ambiance, with two major points: first: of the three senior citizens who were on the laptops at the cafe, enjoying wi fi, 2 of them were on facebook. yes facebook! scanning pics, and commenting on people's walls. go grandma! look at her tagging up pics. second: the large old white man meeting. what do 9 men, looking quite, dapper do on a thursday morning? they meet for coffee. it's adorable. they all know each other, help each out, opening, and salute each other when they walk by. if you're in town, and visiting the family, or you just live here.. check this sbux out.. much too cute and really quite charming.

I like this Starbucks...located in Lake Sumter Landing with other local restaurants , lively square and boardwalk to walk down. Staff here is pretty friendly and almost always hit up this Starbucks for the free coffee grounds for my garden.
