Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Amazing restaurant and family owned. It is a small hole in the wall restaurant that has authentic Italian food. The place isn't too big but they have a back room that can handle bigger groups (8-10). They always have specials and have a great variety. The food is more on the expensive side but it is totally worth it. Average portion sizes as well for most plates of food. I had their Grouper Francese special and it was amazing. The group I was with had lots of different dishes on the menu and they loved it. If you are looking for an authentic Italian meal and great service, come to this place for a date night.

Five stars for traditional family-owned local Italian goodness. Food is delicious and plentiful. Prices are decent and service is friendly. Pizza was good with excellent sauce. So much food I'm bringing three take out bags home!!!!!!

The absolutely worst service I have ever had in a restaurant. The waitress never acknowledged us for 15 minutes. She threw one menu at us for the 3 of us to share She rudely would not take our food order at the same time we placed our drink order. It was 50 minutes before we got our soup and salad. Another 30 before we got our meal. She never asked how our meal was, oh wait she refused to even make eye contact. Then another 20 minutes to get our check and complete payment. The owners response to my complaints was for me to not take it personally she was too busy to worry about being pleasant. I have never done this before but we left $0 for a tip. We did give the busboy $20 because he was the only one to pay any attentions to us. Food was meh

Authentic Italian food. Great service. Generous pour on the house Italian red wine. Good size portions.. Left there beyond full! I came today because I had a coupon. We will be back for sure!

This eatery has been run by the same family in the same location for 25+ years. That says a lot. Their veal chop - a real test for an Italian restaurant - was tender, flavorful and cooked just right. My dining partners all loved their dishes, too. Service was a bit slow, but it didn't matter. The food was that good. Beer and wine, only.

This place is a hidden gem! The owners, Tony & Pam make you feel as if you are in their own home treating you to their home Italian cooking!! Excellent food, excellent service in an intimate setting... Tonight their special was stuffed artichokes - awesome! The table of 4 shared an artichoke, then afterward there was shrimp fra diavalo, ravioli and fettuccine carbonara... all of it was out of Italy great!

Small family style Italian restaurant on US1 in Tequesta. Great thin crust pizzas. Several daily specials like osso buco (veal shank), baccala (salted cod) and pesce all pizzailoa (braised fish).

One of the best pepperoni pizzas I've had and I'm a Philly guy who has sampled some of the highest rated in the northeast

We've only gotten takeout pizza from this place. Best thin-crust pizza we've found in the Tequesta area (and we've tried them all). Not New York City, but pretty good for Northern Palm Beach County fare.
