We love pizza at my house. All kinds of pizza. This was on the greasy side of the spectrum, not my favorite. The garlic knot crave is insane. They are dinner rolls with butter on them. Not sure if we'll be back, only because I am not a grease lover. The staff was VERY friendly.

My kids love this pizza. I'm not a big pizza person but the plain cheese is pretty tasty and my hubby likes the meat lovers. I do love their wings. We usually just pick up togo but My hubby and I have stopped by to grab a bite without kids too (usually in between shuttling kids around!). The counter guys are great. Table service is a bit slow but it seems to correlate with the server socializing with regulars.

Was making a quick run to UPS when my husband noticed the lunch specials at this place. We each had the pizza slice/salad/drink combo for only $6.25 and we split some wings. About $20 for a very filling, decent tasting lunch, not a bad deal at all. The food was just okay though. The crust was the only thing that was particularly good, but I'm partial to a specific type of crust and this one met my criteria, so I'm biased. The wings were good too, we had a split order of the screamer sauce and mango habanero. I recommend both, but they were not very spicy at all. With a name like screamer, I want it to at least sting a little. Our waitress was super nice but the service was on the slow side and the restaurant wasn't very packed. To be fair, everything was very fresh and hot so we could tell it had just been cooked. I liked that the pizza wasn't overly greasy and the wings seemed to be oven baked. Overall, I'd say it's an okay option in the area. I know I'll settle for it again in the future now that Pizza Fusion is no more(moment of silence for that).

Absolutely the worst pizza I have ever had. What was worse than the pizza was the experience and service my wife and I received from the manager. We ordered 2 medium pizzas, one pepperoni and one veggie. We were told 30 to 45 min for the pizza to deliver, $33+ for the food! If $33 for 2 medium pizzas isn't bad enough, 1 hour and 20 min later our pizza arrives and it is cold and stale as if it was ordered the day before and sat out on the counter all night. What made matters worse was the veggies were thrown on top after the pizza was cooked so they were raw and not even married with the cheese and sauce. On the pepperoni pizza they must have run out of pepperoni because for an 8 slice medium pizza we found 6 pepperoni slices and 2 slices of pizza didn't even have a piece of pepperoni on it. What made matters worse was when I called to complain about the situation the manager told me he didn't care because he was just the manager not the owner so it didn't reflect on him in the long run.... absolutely the worst restaurant in Tampa much less the worst pizza place... save your money and time and order from a chain if Marinas or Zerillos isn't open in Westchase because Westchase Pizza isn't worth the hassle.

We have been getting pizza take out from here for ages. We have a tradition of 'pizza Friday' with our kiddo and have friends and neighbors join us regularly. The pizza is usually pretty good and the proximity to where we live is very convenient. However, recently the quality seems to be inconsistent and the cheese on the pies is becoming more sparingly. My 3.5 year old even commented, "where's all my cheese? I don't like so much crust!" When it's good it's very good, just wish that was all the time.

I'm a little confused....this place is where the former Sans Pizza was located and when you walk in, the plaques that Sans won are still displayed. So is this place the same, but just changed names? If so, why? Anyways, I picked up 2 large pizzas ($25) and they were ready when they said they would be. The pizza was good, not remarkable, but still good. It's sort of hard to mess up a cheese pizza.

My favorite pizza place in the area. They stole their neighbors website name which I think is kind of funny, if you go to zerillospizza.com you actually get the westchase pizza page. I frequently order from this pizza place when I have work meetings or when my wife wants pizza and wings. My wife always wants pizza and wings it's kind of why I married her. This is the closest thing to NY style pizza you're going to get in this area. We always get the hot bbq wings with blue cheese. They have the best blue cheese dressing, I asked the cashier the brand and he told me "Kens." I bought Kens blue cheese from the store and it wasn't even close. I recommend ordering the wings extra well done if you like them crispy. They won't burn them or anything. We usually order pepperoni fresh garlic and onion on our pizza. What's really good about this pizza is the crust, it's kind of sweet and we dip it in the blue cheese. The only reason I would give 4 stars is that their sandwiches are kind of lacking. I've ordered the Italian, meatball, and chicken Parmesan before and they were very small and seemed low in quality. However, the sandwiches weren't very expensive and this is a pizza place so I will still give them 5 stars.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and Yummy! Had the lunch special, 2 slices of pizza and a drink for $5.25. Other slices are a little extra. The pizza was fresh with tons of cheese and fresh basil and tomatoes. Super YUMMY! They were so nice and friendly. Total family feel. Will definitley stop in when I'm in the area again.

Best pizza in Tampa in my opinion. Everyone that works there is super friendly and the food always comes out perfect. I've never had anything there besides the Pizza, but if the rest of the menu maintains the status quo then it will be incredible!

Under no circumstances order delivery on a weekend. They're not staffed for it, know it, and do nothing to try and be better. This is my 2nd consecutive order that has taken over 2 hours (so far.) Considering last time it took 2+ hours and they didn't even get my order right you'd think I would have learned. Hoped it was a fluke...clearly they just need to get out of the delivery business. I won't make this mistake a 3rd time. But hey...at least the food is mediocre.

I have ordered food from here so many times. Amazing every time! I get catered food several times each year for family parties! Eggplant parmesan is my favorite pizza and the garlic knots are always to die for!!

The Pizza is decent, but very mediocre if you are true NY Pizza person like I am. The reason this moves up to a 3-Star instead of a 2-Star is the Chicken Wings. Their Chicken Wings are really, really good. Especially their BBQ Wings which are some of the best I've had since moving away from New York. My kids really, really love this place and it's really close so we end up here a lot. And while the Pizza is so-so, the Wings and Calzones are quite good.

I was next door getting some Chinese grub for the chica, and I wasn't really feeling the fried, greasy stuff, so I figured I'd walk next door and grab a sub. Looking at the menu, I noticed their 6" subs were $5.25, which struck me as odd because the Subway next door sells foot longs for $5 even. Kinda hard to compare Subway to an independent restaurant, but still I think you've gotta try to be more competitive with your sub pricing when you're next to a Subway. That being said, I ordered a turkey and provolone sub. Got the thing home and there was no cheese and the bread was at least two days old. Fool me once... Will never return.

Great New York Style pizza! Service was quick and friendly. We also had the garlic knots, which were ok. The boneless wings were decent, but we're from Buffalo and pretty picky about our wings! Visited Westchase Pizza and Pasta for dinner. It's a family style pizza spot right across the street from Farnell middle. They were doing a hopping take out business and had patrons dining in as well. The staff was super friendly and seated our larger group right away. We took it as a sign of good things to come when we saw a couple of groups of Firemen eating - they usually seem to frequent good and plentiful food establishments. It was definitely a sign of good food to come! They do have beer/wine as well as sodas and tea. We tried a large Greek salad with plates to be shared by 4. There was plenty and all 5 of us could easily had a dinner salad from the portion served. The salad was delicious and loaded with crumbled feta, onions, green pepper, olives and even some cucumber - Yum! The salad comes with potato salad in Tampa style Greek tradition though you may request it without. Our garlic knots were warm and tasty with melted garlic butter and Parmesan accompanied by dipping sauce. You have to order these!!! Very popular! We ordered their largest loaded pizza and it arrived baked perfectly and absolutely loaded with toppings. The crust was perfect - crunchy and crisp! They offer a great ordering feature here: you can order each quarter of your pizza with different toppings which is perfect for a group with different tastes or kids. We tried that out and sure enough, the 'special quarter' was exactly as ordered and the rest if us enjoyed the supreme style. All 5 of us devoured pizza, garlic knots and salad and still had leftovers to take home for about $40 including non alcoholic drinks. A great deal, comfortable environment and tasty, filling food! The restaurant is casual and great for families, groups and kids. An all around win! We'll be back!!! It's a winner!

I've been to this place four times now and each time it has disappointed. The pizzas are a lot of money for a bad quality of food. I'm not sure who pays this much for food and is actually happy with it. But there's no way I would pay for that food ever again and there's no way I would ever eat it for free. High prices don't make a good pizza. Good quality food makes good pizza. THIS IS NOT GOOD PIZZA. And the garlic knots are horrible. They are just cheap dinner rolls with garlic and butter. Very lazy. I expected more for the price.

I don't really understand some of the comments. I've eaten here a lot since we've moved to Tampa. They're pizza is great. It's not the BEST pizza I've ever eaten (you go to Boston or NY for that) but it's really great any how. I always ask for extra sauce and extra cheese. The garlic knots are huge. I've been to many places where its the small literally knotted bread pieces. These are giant garlic rolls. I like that they don't overdo the garlic on these- so maybe its a preference. If you like a ton of garlic on your rolls- just ask- and I'm sure they'll accommodate. A little pricey- but if you don't want fast food pizza (aka Pizza Hut or Papa Johns) this is your place.

Dinner Jan 13. Carryout order. Sans has become our weekly "go to" pizza place. Over the last 6 months we have replaced the big pizza chains with Sans. The pizzas are very good and always a good mix of whatever ingredients you want. Plus, they use those old flavor rich ovens that remind me of some local pizza joint in the Bronx. I can tell you that I have never had a bad or disappointing pie from Sans. My favorite pie you ask? Pepperoni, sausage, onions, garlic & banana peppers. Their oven Baked Meatball sub is also very delicious! And if your a fan of Garlic Knots, give Sans a try - not too shabby! The have limited delivery in Westchase area, carryout and a good size dining room. They do get busy on weekends so their may be a wait, but well worth it!

Great pizza and cheap beer. Has to be in the top 2-3 best places in town for pizza. Nice family atmosphere, lots of televisions with sports on and good/friendly service. Nothing fancy, but very good pizza at an affordable price. The chicken wings are also outstanding.

After Cinco de Mayo...they "gets no 'mo". I don't consume pizza on a regular basis, but EW knows quality!! I've found Marcos Pizza to be consistently "people pleasing" (product and level of service). I won't share a resume of pizza comparisons, but as a consumer, I WILL share my experience with this business. Picture this... May 5th...2012...Noon...85-90 degrees outside. I stopped in (on a whim) as a first timer to have a Corona, and then keep it moving! I was greeted by a pleasingly neutral decor, oven-like temperatures on the inside, and only one table of customers (so service should be good, right?). I sat at an almost "neck-level" bar (which gives new meaning to "raised counter") and felt like a kid at a table. I ordered a Corona, and decided to "try a slice" (another whim). The servcer was enthusiastically friendly in advising a slice of Cheese Pizza is $2.00 plus 50cents per topping ("okay, give me pepperoni and sausage"). My slice arrived quickly and with the first bite, I enjoyed a nice crispy crust! But, there's more to pizza than crust, otherwise I would've just ordered crust. :o) Toppings: Both meats seemed as if added a minute before leaving the oven. Pepperoni: Flapping, oily, and barely warm...nothing crisp or cooked about it. Sausage: Chopped up in little chunks (a lot of 'em...too many...a disproportionately large amount) and dropped on top. Same theme...barely warm, AND, a few pieces were somewhat cool, yet none seemed cooked or crisp....AND...while handling the slice, pieces were tumbling off like raisns. After inspecting and trying just the meat, I took off ALL REMAINING TOPPINGS (pretty easy since they weren't really cooked), and left them fanned out on the plate. During my entire visit, the server passed by several times, but "NUNCA" checked-in..."NUNCA" asked if everything was alright...."NUNCA" asked if I would like another beer....NADA! Keep in mind, this is a very small restaurant. I asked for my bill, and it was passed to me...over a plate of toppings...but again, no comment or question. I pay and leave. Nada "from" the server...and Nada "FOR" the server. So, again...sharing MY experience. What I'd REALLY like to know is.... HOW was the staff trained? How does mgmt check service and quality levels (in & out of the kitchen)? I don't know, but after Cinco de Mayo...my business...they "gets no 'mo". EW

EW

I moved to westchase area 2 months ago. We get pizza every Friday and I have now tried every pizza place in the westchase, citrus park, oldsmar area. After trying them all Sans is definitely the best. The others all taste a little store bought. Sans tastes very fresh

The cheese pizza is so awesome, it could be the best I have ever had. The crust is delicious and then with mounds of gooey cheese!

Great pizza and cheap beer. Has to be in the top 2-3 best places in town for pizza. Nice family atmosphere, lots of televisions with sports on and good/friendly service. Nothing fancy, but very good pizza at an affordable price. The chicken wings are also outstanding.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
