Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I dont know why this place doesn't have 5 stars. It's little pricey but the food was so good it didn't matter. I had the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. It was amazing. the shrimp was perfect and the sauce was on another level. My boyfriend had spaghetti and meatballs which I tried and it was great. The chicken parm was moist and great. Our waiter's name was sean was awesome and recommended a great place to hang out after. Overall a great place to eat and spend sometime with friends or family.

Price was a bit up there but I must say one of the few times I've gone to a restraunt with 5 or more people and by the end of the meal everyone's plate was cleaned out. Had the chicken parm juicy and tender complimentary garlic bread and Parmesan cheese for your dishes

That's Amore has great food and a home town Italian atmosphere that is very inviting. Beautiful views of the water. Great place for an evening of wine and pasta. Delicious!

Was in town on mini vaca. Service was so slow, took 90 minutes to get our meal which on arrival showed how so overly priced it was. Sitting outside was the best part except all their liquor deliver trucks key parking there. At 7 on a Friday night! I would not return there when in town again.

My husby and I came here with three other friends since we were in town visiting. We were seated by gracious people in a holiday-themed space. Our server was new and we ordered drinks and appetizers to start. However, when I received my glass of pinot noir, it smelled like perfume and just made the wine taste horrible. I had everyone smell it and they all thought it was quite strong. When I brought it to the attention of our server, she claimed she could not smell it! I asked for it to be poured in a new glass (since I wasn't looking for a free glass of wine) and it was much better. The next glass of wine that was brought to the other girl who was drinking wine had the same smell to it though. We realized that it was from the bartender, who was wearing HEAVY perfume. Really??? The goat cheese and tapanade was good, but very small for an appetizer. We also ordered antipasto, which wasn't very high quality salami or capicola. My entree was penne with hot sausage in a balsamic sauce. HORRIBLE. The balsamic was too heavy and strong that it overpowered every other flavor. I had to drain the pasta to eat it and the diced, overcooked sausage was inedible as it had soaked up too much of that balsamic vinegar. I tried some of my husby's tortellini and the cream sauce was alright - I don't think the cheeses were melted/mixed correctly and it was past al dente. The prices were way too high for the quality. We did ask for the server to split up our check after she asked if that is what we wanted. When she brought it over, it didn't even list what was on each bill so I mentally tried to figure it out. She rudely was standing there waiting for me to just hand over the card. When I was satisfied, I gave it back to her. I would never come back to this place. They need to tell their servers that they cannot wear heavy fragrance in a service industry, the prices need to be lower/the quality of food needs to be higher, and the service can be worked on as well.

Decor is dated, food was either excellent or just ok. Pass on the calamari, but the caprese salad was very tasty. Salmon was slightly overlooked but VERY tasty, reviews from the other seat mates loves the steaks and the lobster. Very solid, good enough to come back again! The tomato bread was amazing too.

Customers may not always be "right" but they do deserve to be treated with respect- we were not. I also cannot stand when a restaurant runs or participates in a promotion but does not want to honor it, or adds additional stipulations. To make a long story short, we we charged $5 for a small bottle of water-which we did not ask for. And were told that our 50% of all food coupon was not valid at the bar and could only be used with entree purchases- none of this is written on the coupon card. Worst of all, the bar tender threw the cash my dad handed her back at him when I question the water charge and presented her my coupon card. Let's just say it took everything in me not to act out of character. I will NEVER return to this unprofessional, overpriced "restaurant."

This place is a place that I always talk about when people say they are from Tampa or going to Tampa. I LOVE the staff there (Nicola, Trey, Jamie & Mikey all rock my world). Fabulous, professional staff who always keep my water (or wine) glass filled. The bruschetta is the best I've ever had. Don't know how you can mess that up but theirs always makes me soooo happy that I sat down for dinner there. The pastas are relatively averaged priced and oh so delightful. My favorite is their Chicken Limone ... LOVE. Their tiramisu is delish as well ... I love sitting by the window over looking the harbor and I especially love Wednesday nights when they do karaoke. Give this place a shot. Ask for Jamie to take care of you. He's the best.

Delightful. I'm shocked at all the bad reviews! I can't lie though-the server always touching our shoulders was kinda weird; you're not that charming dude. Other than that, we dined al fresco, all our food was truly made to order (I got the gnocchi with no cream sauce and my friend got two different sauces on hers), the service was excellent and timely, the bruschetta was incredible and fresh, the salad was delicious... One of my favorite dining experiences while I was in Tampa.

I love their pasta! I do feel like it's a little overpriced, but the portions are huge and I always get more than one meal out of it. I usually get take out so I can't speak about the service - other than the fact that they are super nice when I wander downstairs to pick up my order.

What a meal! The food was great and is worth a return visit if I am ever in Tampa again. The linguine bolognese was to die for and the banana bread pudding was very good. The waiter we had was a little slow, but the food outweighed this impediment. Great food and good prices and a short walk from the Marriott. The new owner has only had the restaurant for about a month. Looks as if the one star ratings were for the old owner.
