We love going to to this place and sitting at the cozy booths along the wall. The atmosphere is always pleasant and peaceful. The service is wonderful and friendly. The menu is extensive with options for any pallet. We always get dessert doughnuts, which are awesome! The peanut glaze that comes with them is delicious.

I wanted to like this place. Yelp let me down by the amount of good reviews though. I was willing to overlook that it was right next to a cheap hotel/motel on strip-club mile. I was willing to overlook the cat sitting at the front door (it even made its way in part way through my time there, meowing at everyone). I was skeptical with only two other tables in the place occupied when I came in and it was still loud as fuck. I bit my tongue with the screaming baby, but a table all the way on the other side of the room was loud enough that I could hear their entire conversation. Please America, turn the volume on your facehole down, it's obnoxious. Our waitress wasn't pleasant, even from the beginning. She had two tables to wait on, it's not like they were so swamped she didn't have time for niceties. It was a pain in the ass having to constantly flag her down for drinks/refills, ordering an extra menu item, etc. and getting such an attitude. When we were given a Thai tea instead of an iced coffee she wasn't thrilled about having to correct it. As for the food, I ordered the Tom Kha Gai and the beef salad, both of them medium spicy. The salad was way spicier than the soup, but maybe it's because the coconut broth kills some of the heat. The soup was unremarkable. The broth separated before it even was put in front of me and wasn't too creamy. It was mainly sour and there wasn't very much chicken in it. I wouldn't order it again. The only thing I could taste in the salad was red pepper. The beef was a little dry, the tomatoes were those tiny cherry tomatoes that just roll away instead of getting stabbed with a fork, and overall, it was lacking. I won't be back. I'm still baffled at how this place is currently ranked 4/5.

Hands down of the best Thai Restaurants I've ever been to. I got To-Go and it came out in a matter of minutes and it was DELICIOUS. Best Pad Se Ew I've ever had. The vegetable combination is amazing. The customer service was exceptional. I am so happy I've found this place and live only 2 minutes away. GO HERE!

Good service, my food was ready for pick up in a timely manner, and the cashier was very nice and friendly. The panang curry medium spicy is actually really hot so be careful. Looking forward to future visits.

Based on the reviews, we thought this place would be amazing. The dishes were good, but the portions were not good at all. So small that for the price, it turned in to a non-filling meal. Disappointing. The Tom Yum soup wasn't good. Wouldn't go back since the value just simply wasn't there, although it's flavors were spot on.

I just moved to tampa and as a lover of thai food this was the first place i checked out. I am not disappointed. The older man that works there is incredibly friendly and treated me as if i was a regular customer. The pad thai is amazing as well. Will definitely be making this a regular spot!

Insanely good thai food, the pineapple curry is to die for...I can't wait to go back there.

Meh. This is another mediocre Thai restaurant in Tampa. I got the tofu jungle terrace with five levels of spice. The Spice: I read a review that said the spice was too hot. I think they just made a mistake that one time. My level five meal tasted like most other restaurants' spiciest dish. The Flavor: My dish was alright. The tofu was fried and tasty, but some of the vegetables weren't great. Two stick out -- the eggplant and the ginger. I love both of these things, but they weren't well executed here. The ginger wasn't cut up finely enough, so I periodically chomped down on big bites of ginger. The eggplant wasn't cooked thoroughly enough, so it was kind of rubbery. The Experience: The restaurant is very nice inside, and our waitress was pleasant. Oddly, though, some creepy children's rendition of Jesus Loves Me played from somewhere in the back. It was a little uncanny. Overall, I thought my meal was average, but I liked the decor and I think this place has potential. I'll be back to try Thai Terrace again, but next time I'll try something other than the Jungle Terrace.

Beware that if you think this restaurant doesn't use (MSG )Monosodium glutamate in their sauces or certain dishes, better think again... It's in some of the brown sauces and certain spices that came in cans and bottles. Although the restaurant advertised on the website no MSG in the foods. The brown sauces and certain spices have it. I found out that Asian foods, and all the sauces and spices that came across the ocean used preservatives plus flavor enhancer. Stop by your local Asian market/grocery stores to see for yourself and Google MSG reaction or symptoms in foods. Yes, I had the reactions after I have eaten the foods there!

Thai Terrace is another one of those hole in the wall restaurants. It used to be my number one Thai restaurant of choice before I discovered the Thai Gourmet Market. Right now they rank a very close number two. The food is always good as is the service. Lunch time seating can be difficult. Worth the wait.

I work right around the corner from this place and we go here a couple of times a month for lunch! I love it because the food is great, plus it's a wonderful value! For $10.00 you get soup, a spring roll, your meal, and dessert......you really can't do better. The food is wonderful and authentic. One of my faves!!!

Good Thai place and has been a favorite since we moved to Tampa. We've been going there at least once a month for the last 2 years. Their lunch specials are good and the service can be slow, especially weekdays during lunch time. They bring soup and egg roll complementary before they bring the entrees - it's a nice treat and it tastes good. It's also a good take out option if you leave in Westshore.

Delicious food with spot-on Thai spices. I had the Spicy Terrace, a house specialty, and was satisfied. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the smell of sewage when I walked in the door and a smaller portion size, leaving me hungry after finishing my plate.

My favorite Thai restaurant in Tampa! The parking is limited and the restaurant itself is pretty tiny. However, I've never had trouble finding a parking space or getting a table. The ambiance is great with traditional Thai decor. They are very veg friendly so there's tons of options. My favorite is their spicy curry fried rice with tofu. The food is VERY spicy!! Normally, I like my food medium spicy (think Indian) but here I have to go with a heat level 1 or 2. I almost died when I ordered a 3! Food is made to order so be prepared for slightly above average wait times. We come here for more leisurely dinners so no biggie! Apps come out fast so you can always order a few if you are really hungry. I've also ordered take-out from here without any trouble!

Theyre under new ownership or something and the food is completely different. I ordered a Seafood spicy terrace for take out and they now use imitation Krab and processed fishballs along with a few shrimp and pieces of squid. The dish was sweet for some reason and i use to get this all the time here. The krab rangoon is made differently now too the quality has drastically gone down hill and the prices wents up. This used to be my favorite place how disappointing.

Disappointed.... I went there due to the ratings on here, when we pulled up we were the only two in the place. I ordered tom yum soup with chicken, asked for a 4 for heat (out of 5) it was actually pretty tasty, not spicy but tasty. We ordered the sampler which had Crab Rangoon ( also tasty had a hint of curry to them) chicken satay, tempura shrimp or that's what it was supposed to be, it was lots of batter with a tiny little shrimp in it. Entrees we ordered Pad Thai which my friend said was decent, however they apparently didn't think we could take the heat. Not spicy at all I ordered spicy green curry combo with chicken, beef and shrimp. She asked out of a scale of 5 how hot, I said 4. I love spicy food and have been to Thailand, it's one of my favorite cuisines. The food came out, I had a plate of ice cold rice, and a bowl of broth that again wasn't spicy, there was a sliver of chicken, beef and 2 -21/25 size shrimp with the tails on. The waitress asked us how everything was and why I didn't eat rice we told her she offered more we declined had no food to put over it at this point. Sadly we apparently got level 2's instead of 4's

Update- this is hands down the best Thai I've ever had. I frequent this place.----I was very impressed with the authentic Thai food here. I ordered tofu pad Thai on my lunch and got a free spring roll and soup with it. The Thai tea is delicious too. Thankfully, they were quick on my lunch hour and I had such a big portion that I had another meal to take home.

Great Thai place to go for lunch or dinner, but make sure you sit down and not do take-out. All the dishes taste so fresh - direct from the chef's wok to the plate in seconds. That's what makes this place so good! It's not the same when it's brought home. Order the pad see ew or pad thai. You won't regret it.

Amazing food! The pad Thai is by far the best pad Thai I've had in Tampa. My husband and love Thai food and have been to a plethora of Thai restaurants. Their soups are good and their main course curries are very flavorful. He usually gets the spicy chicken terrace. He also likes the crab Rangoon's. They are usually busy arouse dinner time, so if you are doing take out call at least 30 mins before you want your food. The ambiance is typical Thai restaurant style if that makes sense. Nothing super classy but very cosy. They always have flowers on the table and decorative table cloths. They also have free Wi-Fi if you need that.. Overall, the food is very flavorful and we would come back!

I came in here craving some Pad Kee Mao of what I use to have from an Asian community, it was pretty good here but a little over-seasoned/salty for my likings. They have four spice levels to choose from which is interesting, I went with mild and it was what I expected. All in all, I think it was average- not amazing! Perhaps I will update after trying a few other Thai restaurants in the area.

Quality Thai. Fast service for lunch. I think we were in and out in a half hour. Recommend the Pad Thai and the Red Curry but I am sure everything else was great as well. Spring rolls were solid. Will definitely return to try more soon.

Wow. DisapPOINTed! The spicy green curry was neither spicy and was an unappetizing pale grey green translucent color. When I inquired whether it had coconut milk, she said it was a combo of that and half and half. Hmm, I smell a rat (not literally, I hoped!) Canned bamboo shoots, too. The passive aggressive waitress sure kept me on my toes! Every time I asked a question, she couldn't be bothered to stop. But she did come back each time to finish answering it. To her credit, she was the only one working the dining room. The fun of a family restaurant! The chili sauce was not like any other thing I've seen or tasted. It was probably ketchup spiked with sriracha, or maybe bottled BBQ sauce. The only semi decent item was a spring roll. However the shrimp was not deveined and still had poop lines. Blech. The myth that "Thai restaurants attached to motels are hidden gems" that I read recently has been BUSTED, at least for this spot.

This place is really good - I was flying back home and wanted to avoid airport food so I swung by here and picked up a pad Thai with chicken to go - enjoyed it at the airport and will keep this place in mind for next time.

This place is awesome! I had the chicken noodle soup and that broth was delicious. My friends had the pineapple curry with beef and shrimps and they both loved it. See the photos. Service was on point as always. They gave us soup and an eggroll that was very good too.

This is the first thai restaurant that I have tried in Tampa, and I am blown away! We were in the area and starving so we ~yelped~ for the closest thai places for lunch. This was the closest and it had a great rating so we decided to try it. Didn't look like much from the outside, which in my opinion the best places never do, but once we stepped inside it was super busy. Business & casual lunches filled the tables. We were given waters immediately, and soon after came a free soup and single egg roll type appetizer. What a bonus! The soup was phenomenal. The wait staff was very friendly, especially for being so busy. The pad kee mow & pad see ew were the best I have had in a very long time. It came out fast, hot, and tasted so fresh. SO many flavors. It definitely beat my long-time favorite spot in downtown Jacksonville. After the meal we were given each a free thai donut dessert which was amazing too. It tasted like it had sweet condensed milk as an icing. Since this is the first spot I've tried I will definitely have to try more in the area, but Thai Terrace will have to be my go-to.

Really enjoy this place. Good authentic Thai food and cute atmosphere. Reasonable price for lunch. One note - their spice level is slightly hotter than other places I've been to. Another lady made reference to this too. Still really good though.

Food was tasty. PadThai with chicken. Only reason I do not give it 5 stars is the spring roll was a little cold and the glass of water taste like it was right from the tap (not filtered). Still I recommend. Friendly service.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in the Tampa area. Great good, cheap prices, and authentic! You know it's authentic when they ask you the level of spiciness. I imagine they are back there firing up chilli pods. My "go to" lunch selection here is always Chicken Pad Thai - level 3 and I always regret getting the 3 instead of the 2 after (in a good way). The spiciness is the kind that hits you in the face and lingers, but you keep eating more and more. The portion sizes are reasonable and I love the soup and mini eggroll as an app. I did notice that the price for the Chicken Pad Thai did go up $1, but it won't stop me from coming back again :) Why not 5 stars?...I think they need to get some new silverware. I get it - authentic, but the silverware looks rusted..not good.

Great place for lunch. Friendly service, excellent food, great value with a spring roll, soup and doughnut in addition to your entree. It's packed at lunch so try to get there before 12 or after 1 if you want a table. I wasn't thrilled with dinner the one time I tried it. The place was empty, we didn't get all the extras, and it seemed pricy.

WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. If I could give 0 stars I would have. The owner was so rude to my friends and I over a "misprinted" menu insert and refused to honor the price that they accidentally placed in the menu for pricing on their bottles of wine. He made a scene in front of other customers and talked down to us like we were trash. The difference in the pricing was only $8 but he has now lost hundreds and hundreds of dollars in return business from us. I do not care how the food was...I will never and would never recommend this place.

I've been here twice now and won't be returning. These are the reasons why: 1. There's a lady that works there. I believe she's the owner. She's never been friendly or courteous. She always looks pissed off and annoyed when you ask for anything (like a refill on your drink). A group of us went there and she sorta directed us where we could sit, which required combing two tables. My friend had to ask her to actually move the tables together. This lady/owner was like "you can go ahead and do it." We didn't do it and waited until she had done it. The only time she spruces up and actually has a friendly tone is at the very end, when we're paying the bill. Then she lingers and finds just about anything to compliment on - our clothes, jewelry - when all you really want is to be left alone or at least not having a forced conversation with her. She should get out of the business considering the restaurant business is a SERVICE oriented industry! 2. They never bring out all of our meals at the same time. Inevitably one person is sitting without his/her food while the rest of us are eating away. And the delay isn't a few minutes, like 5 minutes or less, it's more like 15 minutes later they'll bring the last person's meal. So for all of us who did get our food, it would be rather cold 15 minutes later and the person who finally gets his/her meal is always the last to finish. It's ridiculous. 3. My friends ordered from the kids menu: friend chicken tenders and fries. The fries were overcooked and the chicken was undercooked. Mind you they charge $10 for this slop! 4. The lady/owner cited in the first paragraph added a 15% gratuity to our bill because there were 4 adults and 2 children! Mind you the food the one child ate was the slop chicken/fries (which he didn't eat) and the little girl ate nothing. THIS PLACE SUCKS all around: food and service.

This place has the best chicken pad thai in all of Tampa. It's the cutest thai restaurant I've visited, and it's reasonably priced.

I have to be honest, I was a little skeptical at first. This place is attached to a motel, and at a glance doesn't seem like much from the outside. However, when you step inside you'll quickly realize you made the right decision. I'm a stickler when it comes to Thai food, and I was pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken red curry (3 star) and, IT-WAS-DELICIOUS, paired with singha beer... Yum, can't wait to visit again. Oh, and the service was great! Thanks V!!

Good Thai food, well-priced, but the service was really lacking. My wife eats here more often than I do, and she said it must've just been an "off" day for them, that they're normally better. But our experience this day wasn't great. Seated reasonably quickly in the tiny dining room, but it's got a neat kitsch vibe that was a combination of Thai and straight-up Jesus. Flip to the back of the menu to see what I mean. But I think the server was pretty overwhelmed - soup and spring roll came out before we'd placed even a drink order. Food came out reasonably quickly, but without rice, refills, or a spoon for me. It took us three tries to get everything. The server seemed genuinely apologetic about it, and took a few dollars off our bill, and then gave us extra rice to bring home, so that was nice of him. We'll definitely be back (the food is, again, really good and set at a nice price), I just hope next time the service is better.

Interesting place. A little hard to find when driving down a busy street. Food was decent but not authentic. The pad see ew was a little salty (drenched in soy sauce). The thai tea was very sweet, which is pretty common in thai restaurant, but this time it was also a little...sour? The portion is kind of small for the price, even with soup and eggroll. I am satisfied with the meal but its a one time deal for me.

Wow, so absolutely delicious. Eric and I were starving after going to Cigar City and we went here because we were pretty sick of "American" food in Treasure Island. This did not disappoint...2nd best Pad Thai I have ever had (after the restaurant in DC a few months ago) and Eric's penang curry was also wonderful. The Tom Kha Gai was also top notch. Eric got Tom Yum and it was an excellent iteration. The service was very good and the waitress was super nice and friendly.

One of the most authentic Thai restaurant I have been to in America. So much so it's "certified" authentic. Ordered several of the noodle dishes. All were amazing. We will definitely come again.
It's not often I give 5 stars, but this is well deserved. Wonderful service, cute aesthetics, and delicious food! We had the soft rolls, Satay chicken, Pad Kee Mow, and Pad See Ew both with chicken. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and dinner was such large portions we both brought home a full 2nd serving worth. They ask your spice level, and for once, I was actually served a level of spice to match my request. I've had Thai from all over the world, and this is in the top of my list.

We went to Thai Terrace at 9pm on a Saturday night. It's in a real sketchy part of town, right next door and across the street from the strip clubs and adjacent to a creepy Howard Johnson on Dale Mabry. The outside of the restaurant was cute and inviting though so we gave it a shot. The Good: Our food was very good. We started with the appetizer sampler and got the masamam curry with tofu and the pad thai chicken. We ordered medium heat but would probably go up to a 4/5 next time for a little more kick. Everything was piping hot and very fresh. The veggies were cooked well in our masama with a bit of a crunch and the pad thai was flavorful. Our sampler platter had a nice variety, mostly fried stuff but the spring rolls were especially good and my husband loved the spicy crab rangoon. The restaurant itself was adorable. Decorated in a very cozy fashion and the dishes and flatware were unique and interesting. The restrooms could use some work but were clean. The Bad: Although the service wasn't slow, our server was a downright sourpuss. She seemed to be having a really bad night. Whenever she delivered food to tables she essentially slammed it down and then turned on her heel and ran away, avoiding eye contact and straight up ignoring customers who were trying to ask for something. We felt a little rushed when ordering and the customers around us were getting very irritated with her, making for a rather awkward atmosphere. Overall, we liked the food enough to try this place again and plan on trying their lunch specials in the future but we hope we get a different server.

Panang curry with beef & drunken noodles with pork were amazing!! Both dishes were actually spicy. The curry had refreshing hints of cilantro & Thai basil. The Thai iced tea was delicious, as well - sweet, but not overly so.

I am very picky about my Thai but this place rocked. Great service (and the waitress was very cool and good looking!) Food was awesome and great tasting. I actually thought it could be a little spicier. I will be in Tampa a lot for biz and will be back for sure!

Incredibly tasty beef massaman curry. The spice level here seemed a bit lower than at other restaurants I've gone to, so you might want to keep that in mind... or maybe get some extra spice on the side.

This place has provided bad service and cold food to me on two different visits. On my most recent visit my friend and I had to wait for the soup and spring roll which was at room temperature. I had to get my good Togo because it did not come out in time. My friend finished her meal before my boxes up food was brought to the table. I love Thai food but I won't be paying this place a visit again. Ps. I just got my Togo food and it's warm temperature (barely).

Hm...two stars and they're lucky for them. The food? It actually was really quite good. It was a close match the restaurant style Thai food I had over in Thailand, which is always a great start! Unfortunately the service was so disappointing I couldn't overlook it. I ordered a vegetarian option that did not have egg listed in the ingredients and I wanted it as spicy as they'd make it. It came with egg so I couldn't even taste the spiciness. I flagged down my server and let her know I don't eat egg and would not be able to eat it as it was. She. Just. Stared. At. Me. As if she wasn't going to do anything. So I said again, "I'm really sorry. I don't eat egg and I can't have it like this." She continued staring. As though I would stop saying anything if she gave me a blank stare for long enough. Finally I pulled the allergy card. She ended up taking it with a :\ look on her face, as though I was asking something unreasonable. They said the kitchen "re-made" it. What they actually did was take someone else's dish (which was not what I ordered) and put it in front of me. NO spice. NO basil. NOT what I ordered. It tasted okay, but it's not what I wanted. I'll go again and see if they can make it up, but as of right now I'm solidly on the fence.

Well, I can't speak to other Thai in Tampa, but I can say that this is some damn good Thai food! My mom moved to BFE, FL from Brooklyn recently and was craving some good thai food, so I brought her here when I came to visit. WE LOVED IT, even by our obnoxious NY standards. The garden salad was a nice unexpected surprise - rather than a typical leafy salad, it was almost like a crudite with peanut sauce. It had big pieces of broccoli, mushrooms and cucumber, all of which I dipped in the amazing vat of warm peanut sauce. Mmmm. The fried chicken spring roll was exceptionally good. Wow. The curry puff was different than what I'm used too. This one was like a thai curry empanada, in the best way possible. Loved it. The shrimp pad thai was perfection. Perfectly balanced, with a little kick. Love. The fried red snapper with basil sauce was delicious!! If I weren't so stuffed I would have licked the plate. I love how they let you choose the type of fish and preparation that you want, and match whatever sauce you please. Great idea! Thai iced tea brought it all together for me. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Highly recommend! I'll be back next time I fly into the Tampa airport, since it's so close!

Very good Thai place, that I used to think was the best in the area until I tried Lemon Grass nearby on Kennedy (see the reviews there). This is also a very small dining room, but elaborately decorated with Thai art & artifacts. Service is very polite & attentive, even dealing with a flow of take-out orders. All dishes we have tried have been very good, including benchmark Thai standards like Tom Kha coconut soup, Pad Thai, red curry & spring rolls, as I recall. Prices are quite reasonable and you leave satisfied. Located right across from Mons Venus and just south of 2001 strip clubs in case nudity generates hunger.

Thai Terrace is a small Thai restaurant located on North Dale Mabry next to the Howard Johnson hotel. The restaurant isn't anything flashy, just a simple room decorated with trinkets from Thailand and fake gold silverware. Because of the limited seating and parking spaces I usually get my food to-go. My favorite dishes on the menu are the Chicken Pad Thai and the Panang Curry with steak. The pad thai could use a little more chicken, but it's very well flavored. The Panang curry has a sweet coconutty flavor pairs so well with the spicy heat. The curry includes lots of vegetables such as bell peppers, red onion, carrot, zucchini, and baby corn. The duck and steamed dumplings are also quite good. The only dish I haven't cared for has been the soup. It's a little on the bland side. The restaurant does have an online menu on it's website, but it only shows a small portion of the menu. If you don't have a take out menu go to the restaurant to order your take-out.

This place was very good in the beginning, however, when it came to the bill is where we had a very big problem. We ordered a bottle of wine that stated $18.95 on the menu, and when we got the bill it said $26.95!! When we questioned the price, the owner made us feel insignificant and said he did not see this price on the menu, when clearly my friend and I did. The owner had a condescending attitude and went through menus and claimed he did not see the price that we had saw. My friends and I will not be back!!!

We were sat down promptly when we came in late on a Saturday Night and the staff was really friendly. Everyone on the menu is extremely reasonable and i really got a kick out of the decor they chose for this place. The Tom Kha soup was ok but I did like the spring rolls for an appetizer. The Calamari was average along with the Pad See Ew Noodle. Id be inclined to try the panang curry next time I go back along with some more spring rolls.

Good cheap Thai food. They will make it spicy as you want it. All the dishes are beautifully prepared, looking great and are full of flavor. I don't like how they put carrots and baby corn in almost everything but they're always nice about taking them out of my order. They don't judge me so that's nice. Sometimes this place can get pretty busy for lunch. Everybody knows its good so the parking out front can get crowded. Just watch out for the gold people next door because they think they own the place. They'll come out and yell at you if you take their customer parking and you'll have to drive around back.

Tie me up Thai! This place makes me feel like I am rocking a chada while lounging on a long-tail boat in Phuket. Thai food is like Louis Vuitton, you can't just get it from any old place. There is an art to Thai food, a complex equation of spices and broths and sauces that many restuarants try to duplicate but fail miserably at. Thai Terrace is no such place. Don't be fooled by the fact that it resides in between a shady Howard Johnson and an even shadier strip club. The restaurant is easy to miss but one should make it a point to search for it. Once you step in, you are greeted not only by the friendly owner, but delicious aromas that tingle your nostrils and make your mouth water. The space is quaint, with only six or seven tables laid out comfortably. I picked up a to-go order after a friend grew tired of my complaints about finding decent Thai and recommended this place. I have great friends. My eyes...or possibly heart...were bigger than my tummy and I zealously ordered spring rolls, Pad Thai, and their version of Ka Prow - a spicy and flavorful dish of your choice of meat tossed with basil, chili oil, bell peppers, and chili peppers. Yes, shamefully, I ate it all. The spring rolls were filled with fresh, crunchy veggies and came with a sweet duck sauce. The Pad Thai noodles were cooked to perfection and had the perfect combination of zest and sweetness. And the Ka Prow was spice at its best. The meat was tender. The veggies firm. And the flavor overwhelmingly apparent. If you are looking for exceptional Thai, and know good Thai from bad Thai, well you have struck gold here.

Good food, great service. If you're looking for good Thai food in the Tampa area, this is the place.

Why 3 stars? Because the taste was there, but the spice was overwhelming. --- --- --- If my rating were just based on my meal, I would probably lower my rating down to 2 stars. They asked how spicy we would like our meal on a scale from 1-5. I ordered the Green Curry and asked for the lowest possible spiciness- 1 or 0 if possible. It felt more like a solid 3 or 4. Next time, I will definitely order something that can be truly be ordered as"mild," because their other plates looked awesome. I used to enjoy spicy food when I was younger, but as I developed acid reflux I've tried to avoid it as much as possible. At this point, I have absolutely zero tolerance for spicy. So I'm willing to acknowledge that I have a weakness when it comes to hot food, but I have definitely had green curry that was very mild, so I know it's possible to prepare. Our server was very friendly and and the decor of the restaurant was cool. When I say cool, it's because I know nothing about Thai culture and cannot be more specific than that. "It looked so Thai in there, bro." If you have never been before, it's easy to pass up. It is so close to the Howard Johnson, it almost looks like it's a part of the hotel. Order as mild as possible if you are a fellow acid reflux sufferer!

I was visiting the area for the weekend, and chose this restaurant with a little hesitation, because the surrounding area seemed pretty sketchy. My girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised at the quaint, yet adorable setting inside. There were bins near the windows filled with coffee-table books. The lighting was perfect, and made for a very romantic setting. The waitress was very polite. When my girlfriend and I were having a conversation, the waitress waited until we were finished to approach us. I ordered the pineapple curry with tofu, and my girlfriend ordered the green curry with chicken. The food came very fast. My order was so delicious, and I scarfed it down before my companion had even finished half of hers. Our dishes were 3's and 4's on their scale of spiciness, and we both were happy at the levels we chose. The waitress made sure to inform us exactly how spicy each level was. I'd recommend this place to anybody going out on a date. One thing was a little funny was the fact that Christmas music was playing in the background and it was late July... Other than that, A ++

Great place, great service ! Waiters/Host were very helpful and funny. Small restaurant - right in between a pawn shop and a hotel . Pad Thai Is a must have ( along with some Thai Tea ) ! 1-Thai hot levels of spiciness ( I get Thai hot) . Prices are pretty decent and even have take out . I go at least twice a month !

It was not a good Thai experience at all. First, the lady who seats you was not so nice and accomodating, she was rushing us to order for our drinks and rolled her eyes when my mate said he wasnt ready yet. Now the food was ok, not too exciting, ordered the green curry, nothing really thai about it, it was like and ordinary chicken with curry powder, which you dont understand for a thai restaurant. They serve rice half a cup. Overall rating, one star. We were rushing to leave, it wasnt a good night. Not recommended at all.

Best Pad See Eww I've had in Tampa, service is excellent, and a great lunch deal with a complimentary Soup & Eggroll appetizer. It gets pretty crowded here for lunch as the restaurant is pretty small. It's a fairly easy place to miss given some of its neighboring stores and cheap motel, but one of my favorite Thai places on Dale Mabry...

Great local place! I came for lunch and was greeted by a smile. As soon as I sat down the waiter brought me a yummy spring roll and small broth soup. The soup was far better than the spring roll, and a nice treat before lunch. I went with the recommendation of the waiter and ordered the green curry at a level 3. It was sweet and fairly mild, it was followed up with a nice bite sized Thai donut. I would def come back!

I eat there about once a week and for the most part the food is very good. The place is usually packed at lunch and is very small so it helps to get there a little before noon. Lunch is very affordable, around $7.00 and it somes with soup and a spring roll. Service however, can be a little spotty so leave 45 minutes.

I've always found it difficult to find a good Thai restaurant that delivers on all three of the quality, spice, and price levels. At least in Miami. But on a recent business trip to Tampa, I discovered Thai Terrace not too far a jaunt from where I was staying. Located on an unassuming stretch of Dale Mabry, the area that's littered with strip clubs, there sits Thai Terrace, home of some of the better Thai food I've had in recent memory. Did I mention it's located in a roadside motel? The place is decorated as most Thai establishments are - bright colors, lots of buddhas and the like. The menu is rather large, but when I try new Thai places, I usually stick to a few favorites - pad Thai and a curry. This time, we opted for massaman. Both dishes offered your choice of meat, for varying price points. Tofu is my go-to when it comes to Thai food, and this place delivered. Both dishes came out at the requested medium-spicy level, which had a nice, slow burn. The pad Thai was a little sweet, but pretty damn good. The massaman was yummy, but missing the creaminess of the avocado on top. All told, with an egg roll appetizer, a round of Thai beers, and two huge main dishes, the bill was less than $40, and we had tons of leftovers. I wish more places like Thai Terrace existed in Miami, and can't wait to return on future Tampa visits!

We went here because it was voted best Thai in Tampa , so me having really high standards for my food I needed to try this place . I am hooked I should say. For me it's the best Thai food in Tampa. And the service was great. The See yew was awesome!!

The place has relatively nice ambiance. Food and menu choice is somewhat interesting that they do have some Chinese and Indian with Thai fusion. Ordered spicy terrace with duck which I have never seen on Thai restaurant menu in the past. Duck was crispy and the sauce tasted authentic with very unique taste of dried hot peppers and mildly sweet tasting as well. Staff was nice but service is very slow. Overall not bad but not the best I had.

I was visiting from out of town, so I was a little apprehensive because of the location (Thai Terrance is next to the HoJo's and a couple of strip bars), but the service was great and the food was even better. The place was empty when I went in for dinner on a Thursday night, but they had a lot of takeout customers. I was seated and my order was taken quickly. The waitress was very nice and helpful when I had a question about the dishes. It was reasonably priced, and - most importantly - the food was made to my liking. I had the chicken with basil sauce (pad gra prow), and it was flavorful, not too fishy, not too salty, just right. The ambiance is casual, but the decor is pretty striking. I was impressed by the Thai brass utensils - a very nice touch.

I travel considerably and seek out Thai food everywhere I go. In Tampa, I had my favorite (Royal Palace) and therefore wasn't too anxious to stray to another restaurant, despite a fellow Thai aficionado's urging to try Thai Terrace. Several months ago, it was lunch time and I happened to be driving by Thai Terrace and thought it convenient to give it a try. I was not disappointed! Since then, I have split my Tampa Thai dining between my now TWO favorites. Last night, I took my family to Thai Terrace. As usual, every dish was stunning. We had Phad Thai, Sizzling Volcano, Amazing Terrace, and Basil Fried Rice. My kids were going nuts at how good it all was. In particular, their Phad Thai with chicken is among the best we've ever had. The food is consistently outstanding. The service can be a tad slow at times and if they're busy, you may need to park behind the building. Small prices to pay for the delectable experience to follow! The restaurant is small, simple and quaint, and the staff is flat out happy, making for a warm and genuine interaction. Another poster objected to what they called "depressing church music" playing in the background. On the other hand, I find the Christian instrumental music playing beautiful and relaxing, regardless of one's faith (I believe the owners are Christian). If you understand and appreciate Thai food, you will not be disappointed with Thai Terrace!!

Tonight was my first time eating at Thai Terrace. We arrived shortly after 7 and were kind of surprised that we were the only ones there. I loved the decor and the quaintness of the restaurant. My husband ordered the Tom Yum soup with chicken, and 2 soft egg rolls. I ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp and he ordered Red Curry, with chicken again. Within 5 minutes of placing our order, my husband's soup arrived and it looked & smelled delicious. I noticed huge pieces of fresh veggies including carrots and baby corn. (By this time about 5 other people had arrived.) The soft egg rolls were stuffed full of shrimp, chicken, bean sprouts and other fresh veggies. It was amazing!! Just the right amount of flavor! My Shrimp Pad Thai arrived right as I was finishing my egg roll. Just like the egg roll, it was delicious. There were about 7 shrimp (decent size), lots of sprouts and spice. I ordered it medium-spicy (#2.25). I loved the dish- although I coughed most of the time. Poor waitress thought it was due to the level of spice- I explained to her that it was due to my bad cold' and not the spice factor. My only problem with the restaurant, was the music. They were playing Morning has Broken, and other music. Not my cup of tea when eating Thai. I would rather hear traditional music. Would definitely visit Thai Terrace again!

Panang Curry doesn't get any better than what they serve here.. I usually avoid any dish with coconut at most Thai restaurants as it is a recipe for disaster if not made 'perfect'.. I dared to try Panang Curry at Thai Terrace and I am so glad I made that plunge to overcome the coconut fear.. My taste-buds were just jumping in joy, the flavor was terrific.. Absolutely amazing - perfect balance of coconut with other ingredients..

Great food and service!! Asked the waitress for a recommendation. She suggested the green curry. Was not disappointed! Had a very smooth flavor, and the right amount of spice. She brought extra rice at just the right time. Will definitely go back again!

I'm a flight attendant and eat Thai food on my layovers because my husband doesn't enjoy it . Whatever state I'm in I use yelp to find the best thai restaurant closest to my hotel. Today I landed in Tampa at 230 and I was starving, I read the reviews and settled on this place. I had to wait till 430 for them to reopen for dinner. I placed my order , which is always complicated. I love pad see ew but I like it extra sweet and wet with extra sauce on the side because I will reheat my leftovers and need extra sauce. The women was very nice and she got my order perfect. The hotel van was waiting outside for me because I was just going to run in and pick it up to go but the chef wanted me to taste the sauce to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. Dish was amazing! Noodles were yummy and the chicken and shrimp were awesome in the sweet soy sauce. The portion was large and I'm sitting here now wishing I got 2 orders!! The restaurant is small and cute. Really nice pretty lady working there was very sweet! Go check it out and tell her the flight attendant sent you.

Living in Tucson and now Indiana, I am not often exposed to very good Thai food. The fact is there was a fad for a while and the result is that there's a lot of bad stuff out there now. But I've had very good Thai food before in Singapore, China, Southern California, and Houston. When I get good Thai food, I really appreciate it. You wouldn't expect good Thai food to be in Tampa, Florida, sandwiched between strip clubs and a skeezy motel on a seedy stretch of an ugly highway. But I saw it on Yelp and we said "Why not?" There's not much by the airport. They open at 4. It was 5:30 and we were the only ones in there save for a fidgety stripper drinking beer on their patio. The owner warmly greeted us and sat us quickly. Decor is cheesy Polynesian but with Thai art knock-offs hanging on the walls. Very clear and concise menu with not a lot of fluff. I didn't see tremendously interesting dishes, but they had a lot of soups and a variety of curries. Prices were about what I'd expect, generally a little over $10 per dish. One thing I thought was cool was that they use vegetarian fish sauce for cooking, so you can eat a tofu dish and be confident that it's actually vegetarian. We opted for the Thai-Indian curry with chicken and a Pad Thai with pork. Not testing for authenticity exactly, but both of these dishes are a good test of a Thai restaurant, I think. It came out really quickly. I was worried about this because the curry featured potatoes, and nothing sucks more than to have hard, undercooked potatoes in a curry. But this wasn't a problem. Everything was just fantastic. We also ended up getting a spring roll and small bowl of soup for free because it was some sort of dinner special. Even that stuff was great. We couldn't quite get through all of it and we were hungry, so I would expect leftovers in coming here. The reason we were out here is because we were going to Cigar City to try some beers. They're right down the street, so this would be a really good option if you're in the same boat, since Cigar City has no food. Solid Yelp find. Good job, Tampa.

Our reviews of Thai restaurants are unfairly impacted by our great local restaurant (Lemongrass Thai in Marietta GA). Nonetheless, we didn't feel Thai Terrace lived up to the reviews here on Yelp. The ingredients were fresh, presentation was nice, the service good, but nothing so outstanding that we would feel strongly compelled to return if vacationing in the Tampa area again. The curry puff was very good. The Chicken Coconut soup was of the sweet and sour variety; we prefer the sweet version. The Massaman was fair: again very fresh ingredients and the medium spice was nice and smokey, but overall nothing that made us exclaim "wow!".

By far my favorite Thai Restaurant in Tampa! Pad Thai is so good! Not a huge fan of how they season their chicken so I usally get Tofu...Small intimate place can fill up fast during lunch and usually a short wait. very friendly staff. Overall good authentic Thai, i bring my friends here all the time.

Found this place through YELP while visiting Tampa for work. The food was excellent. I had the Pad Thai at the recommendation of our waitress. She stated that the had the best Pad Thai in Tampa. I have not eaten at other Thai restaurants in Tampa but I would say that it was some of the best Pad Thai I have eaten in a long time. Great food and great service, I will definitely go back before I leave town.

First, I'm going to say that I'm Thai, so my standards for Thai food are a lot higher than your average diner. I expect my Thai food to be as close to authentic as possible and Thai Terrance does not meet this standard. The food is eh to okay, depending on what you order. I had the Nam Sod, which is traditionally a pork dish -- it was chicken, which makes me wonder if they were passing Larb Gai off as Nam Sod or something. Along with Nam Sod I had Tom Khar Gai, which was okay -- nothing to write home to mom about. Lastly, for my main entree, I had red curry with pork. Let me just say, red curry should not have bell peppers or carrots in it; you'll never have it this way in Thailand ever! Instead of carrots and bell peppers, I asked for more bamboo shoots. Overall, my curry was okay. Moreover, I asked for all my food to be Thai spicy, and it was barely spicy at all. Now here's the thing, I could walk into a Thai restaurant and start speaking Thai, and more than likely the cooks would spend a little extra time and love to make things right, but I don't like to do that. I never let Thais know I'm Thai until after I've eaten. I want to eat what they consistently serve, not the exception. My overall assessment is most diners are likely to enjoy their meal here, but if you're looking for good, authentic Thai food, this is not the place.

Best Thai food in Tampa. I have been eating there since it opened and I love it! The spicy terrace and Chiang Mai noodle soup are my favorites. Lunch is a very good value as you get a complete meal for one low price, including a small desert. Ordering takeout is easy, I have done walk-ins and called ahead and was never a problem. I travel for a living, and have eaten at dozens of Thai places all across the country, and very few even come close to being this good. When I'm in the mood for Thai, I will go out of my way to eat here. A+++

Stopped in for lunch with friends, and was shocked by how bad it was. They start by bringing a small soup and an egg roll. The soup was just hot chicken broth, and the egg roll was the frozen kind. My Pad Thai, ordered super spicy, was not spicy, but worse than that tasted wrong. I tried my friends dishes as well the the lack of quality was across the board. Undercooked vegetables, over cooked proteins, this is not authentic at all. Skip this place!
Visiting Tampa and looking for good Thai food. Based on the reviews below this one seemed like the winner. The ambiance was cool and the place was packed for a Friday night. The service was one person but she did a good job trying to service everyone there, there were about 22 people, so she did a good job. At the end of the day though, the food was fine. I went with the spicy terrace with chicken as recommended below I wasn't over the top impressed. My colleague had the combination fried rice, (which they apparently have everywhere) and they said it wasn't the best ever. We went to another Thai place earlier in our stay and Thai Terrace was much better then that place. So out of the two this was the better option and if this is the best Tampa has to offer then go here.

Having lived and worked in Asia most of my adult life I consider myself fairly open to asian cuisine. Thai food is probably my favorite food, with Green Curry and Tom Yum Goon being my go to dishes. Having only being back in the US for four months I craved so Thai. I selected this to pick up on the way to work. I ordered the Green Curry and Tom Yum Goon and they left a lot to be desired. I have never eaten a traditional thai green curry with gren/red bell peppers, green beans. Just didn't taste very good. As for the Tom Yum Goon, no lemon grass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves.. did not taste like a traditional Thai dish. This is somewhere I won't be visiting again.

This place is so small and cozy! The food is great, but the service not so much. The main lady there isn't very pleasant... I think it's because she's the main server there. Anyway, definitely try the Pad Thai with chicken! It's very good and it comes with an egg roll. Enjoy!

Small place and it gets busy at lunch time, but so far it's my favorite Thai place in the city. House noodles and Panang curry are my favorites but I haven't ever been disappointed. I like spicy food, but everyone has a different rating scale. At Thai Terrace, they bring out 4 different spices so that you can add more spice to your food if desired.

Yick. (Free) soup at lunch was bouillon cube tarted up with a few Thai seasonings... but it still tastes like a bouillon cube. Uneaten. Ordered chu chee pork (i think they spelled it shu shee)... it was like Thai food made by someone who lived a thousand miles away from any Thai ingredients. Salty beyond belief (and not fish sauce salty; salty salty). Tons of pepper (regular pepper pepper). Generic vegetable mix (canned baby corn, celery[?]), dried kaffir lime leaves. C'mon, spend the extra $0.03 and use fresh leaves - dry leaves make it taste all stale and cheap and salty and peppery. And it was not chu chee curry by any stretch of the imagination. Yick. Brother had pad see ew, which was generic but at least on the same planet as other pad see ew I've had. Chicken satay was surprisingly good (which got it a second star) but 4 quite small sticks was a little pricey relative to everything else. I refuse to believe that this is even in the top 10 Thai restaurants in Tampa. If it's near the top, then I suggest you Google 'Thai atrocities' or something like that and hope that dissuades you from wanting Thai food tonight. Just trying to help.

I am fan of Thai Terrace. It doesn't look like much on the outside but the food is very consistently good and the staff is really nice. I think they have the best pad thai I have had yet in Tampa.

Best Thai food in Tampa. There are literally hundreds of Thai places in Tampa, but this little hole in the wall is one of the most delicious, with the tenderest meats, best cooked vegetables and tastiest peanut and curry sauces. The lunch deal is particularly good as you will get a soup, a good sized meal and a Thai donut for a very reasonable price. The wait staff is small but friendly, and the atmosphere is very private and inviting. Definitely tops!

Not terrible, but not great either... I love Tom Kha Ghai (coconut chicken soup) and their version varied greatly from what would be considered traditional Thai. It was a slow night and service was fine. As a traveler, I'd seek out something different the next time I'm in the area.

This is my favorite Thai place in Tampa. I come here quite frequently for lunch and have tried a few things on the menu. My favorite is their Pad See Eew. For lunch you get a broth soup and egg roll as an appetizer included with your meal. You also get a donut for free as desert. The price is inexpensive and usually I spend less than $10 with a 20% tip. The restaurant is pretty small but they move the tables quickly. I highly recommend getting there before noon if you don't want to wait for a table at lunch. It is always packed. I have been here for dinner once and the place was deserted. You also do not get the free appetizers and dessert with your meal like you do at lunch time. I highly recommend you try Thai Terrace!

Best Thai in Tampa. Atmosphere is quirky, but two dishes stand out: the red curry duck, and a perfect Thai presentation of our local grouper.

If this isn't the best Thai food in Tampa it's in the top two.... Authentic, and very well priced. The starter soup is amazing and my favorite is the Spicy Terrace with chicken, it's off the chain.... Don't let the cover of this book fool you, it's the real deal inside...

Great food. The lunch value is amazing--you get soup and spring roll and your meal for less than $10 plus tip. The spicy terrace is great, and there is a peanut based soup that is delicious (I dont think of it as a soup because it is more like a soupy pad thai, but not too runny). The panang is good too.

(3)Paul W.

(5)Jenny C.
(4)Roshni S.
(5)Alejandra O.
Delicious food. The food comes out fast and hot. Absolute favorite Thai place in Tampa. Highly recommend the Pad Thai. A M A Z I N G !
(5)John P.
(3)Jeff F.
Quality Thai. Fast service for lunch. I think we were in and out in a half hour. Recommend the Pad Thai and the Red Curry but I am sure everything else was great as well. Spring rolls were solid. Will definitely return to try more soon.
(4)Austin D.
(1)Jacob D.
This place is really good - I was flying back home and wanted to avoid airport food so I swung by here and picked up a pad Thai with chicken to go - enjoyed it at the airport and will keep this place in mind for next time.
(4)Idalis M.
This place is awesome! I had the chicken noodle soup and that broth was delicious. My friends had the pineapple curry with beef and shrimps and they both loved it. See the photos. Service was on point as always. They gave us soup and an eggroll that was very good too.
(4)Rick H.
Wonderful! We had the basil eggplant, jungle terrace with shrimp, and amazing terrace with chicken. All were super tasty.
(5)Jess J.
(5)Natasha W.
Really enjoy this place. Good authentic Thai food and cute atmosphere. Reasonable price for lunch. One note - their spice level is slightly hotter than other places I've been to. Another lady made reference to this too. Still really good though.
(4)Dave F.
Food was tasty. PadThai with chicken. Only reason I do not give it 5 stars is the spring roll was a little cold and the glass of water taste like it was right from the tap (not filtered). Still I recommend. Friendly service.
(4)Carol C.
(4)Filipe F.
Good food in general. The spring roll could be better. The food service was slow for the time of the service. Overall taste of the order was very good.
(4)angi n.
(4)Marc S.
(1)Mmm V.
(1)Kate E.
Really great thai good. Had combo pad thai and drunken noodles. Good portion size and delicious. Service wasn't perfect but I can overlook that for great food! Steamed dumplings were awesome to!
(5)Kraesly C.
This place has the best chicken pad thai in all of Tampa. It's the cutest thai restaurant I've visited, and it's reasonably priced.
(5)Ryan D.
Thanks V!!
(4)Nic D.
Delicious food, nice staff, veg friendly. I have to eat here whenever I am in the Tampa area.
(5)James P.
(3)Loan T.
(3)Tara L.
(5)Fadi A.
I come here with my coworkers weekly. Used to be better and portions have shrunk but food IS on point.
(5)Mike M.
Loved this restaurant. The food, staff and ambiance were what I was hoping to find. V, our waitress/hostess made some excellent dinner recommendations. Look forward to visiting again on my next trip to Tampa.
(5)Toniko W.
One of the most authentic Thai restaurant I have been to in America. So much so it's "certified" authentic. Ordered several of the noodle dishes. All were amazing. We will definitely come again.
(5)Pat H.
Tasty panang curry, ice cold Singha, friendly staff. Recommended
(4)Michelle D.
(5)Kelly R.
(4)Samantha J.
Panang curry with beef & drunken noodles with pork were amazing!! Both dishes were actually spicy. The curry had refreshing hints of cilantro & Thai basil. The Thai iced tea was delicious, as well - sweet, but not overly so.
(4)Jason G.
I am very picky about my Thai but this place rocked. Great service (and the waitress was very cool and good looking!) Food was awesome and great tasting. I actually thought it could be a little spicier. I will be in Tampa a lot for biz and will be back for sure!
(5)Kevin F.
Incredibly tasty beef massaman curry. The spice level here seemed a bit lower than at other restaurants I've gone to, so you might want to keep that in mind... or maybe get some extra spice on the side.
(4)T Y.
(2)Nicole Leigh S.
(2)Renita S.
The Pad Thai & Pad Sae Eew both amazing! Small homey place ! Great for a date! Scenic and tranquil! Simply romantic- great service and fast ! Food in less than 2o min! - ps large portions overly amazing
(5)Heather M.
(5)Mike S.

(4)Deanna H.
(1)Maria M.
Took my mom here so she could try Thai food for the first time, she loved it!!! The steamed dumplings are the best! Very cute spot and excellent service!
(5)Jeremy A.
(3)James S.
Good, authentic Thai food. Good service. No complaints at all. Try the Chicken Panang Curry... you won't be disappointed.
(5)Tom H.
It was an extreme pleasure to eat at this restaurant.the wait staff were friendly and attentive. My wife had pad Thai and I had pad lad na.we both picked #3 heat which was perfect for us.would go out of my way next time we are in Tampa to eat here again
(5)Joshua G.
(4)Cassandra T.

(4)Brett N.

(1)Jay Y.
(4)M R.
(4)Chris B.

Excellent Thai food. Seems like this place is mostly takeout, but there is plenty of seating.

My food was real good but soup was not, way too sweet.

Yummy!!! Awesome chicken pad Thai. Perfect spicy levels and did I mention yummy??? Now I took one star due to the shadiness of the location.

Best Thai I've had in Tampa! Don't be turned off by the location or looks from the outside. Very quaint inside and the food rocks!

Sloooooow service. Decent food. Thai hot isnt that hot. full of meh

Best Thai in Tampa and priced right!
(5)Rick F.
Service: Excellent Food: Below Average Atmosphere: Tropical needs a redo Price: Reasonable Chicken in the fried rice was cold, Green curry with chicken just ok, forgettable. If I lived here I would not come back, too many other Thai places to try.....

The jungle terrace dish with crispy duck is ridiculous. Enough said.

I've read a lot of great reviews about this place and one of my co-workers recommended it, so I was excited to check out Thai Terrace with a few of my co-workers for lunch. We walked into a cute little place with about 15 tables or so. Lots of nice Thai decorations with wood panels on the walls. You're automatically greeted with some appetizers. Not sure if it's the same all the time, but on this particular day we were served a cup of vegetable soup and a mini spring roll. The vegetable soup had a sweet, light taste with some tofu and rice. The spring roll was delicious! For my entrée, I ordered the cashew chicken which had some nice flavors to it. A lot of vegetables and little meat like most Thai dishes, but it was still yummy. My co-workers ordered the beef pad thai and the panang curry and we all enjoyed it. At the end of our meal, we were served with some delightful dessert. Not sure what it's called, but it's basically fried dough with some sweet vanilla cream. Definitely not healthy, but it was the best part of the whole meal! All this for only $9. I will definitely be back here again.

Very good Pad Thai. Fast service.

This is somewhere I won't be visiting again.

very good panang curry, chicken noodle soup, pork lemongrass and thai fried rice. real friendly staff too!
(4)Saira T.

(2)Tara V.
I am fan of Thai Terrace. It doesn't look like much on the outside but the food is very consistently good and the staff is really nice. I think they have the best pad thai I have had yet in Tampa.
(4)David F.
(5)Susan D.
This is a favorite. The basil noodle is the best. Always has great food and service. The place is so cute inside. Great date place.
(5)jonny q.
Not terrible, but not great either... I love Tom Kha Ghai (coconut chicken soup) and their version varied greatly from what would be considered traditional Thai. It was a slow night and service was fine. As a traveler, I'd seek out something different the next time I'm in the area.

Best Thai food in Tampa. Love the pad kee Mao/basil noodles. House spl thai fried rice and egg plant with green sauce
(5)Brian C.
Without a doubt the best Thai in Tampa. I can't stop eating here. Great service.
(5)Drea M.
Very tasty, the chicken here is so fresh & clean tasting! Best Thai place in Tampa, hands down. I work close by & have to say I have been eating here at least 3x a week for a year & a half, and I still find myself craving it!
(5)Amanda H.
(5)Jason F.
Best Thai in Tampa. Atmosphere is quirky, but two dishes stand out: the red curry duck, and a perfect Thai presentation of our local grouper.
(5)Adam H.
If this isn't the best Thai food in Tampa it's in the top two.... Authentic, and very well priced. The starter soup is amazing and my favorite is the Spicy Terrace with chicken, it's off the chain.... Don't let the cover of this book fool you, it's the real deal inside...
(5)Liz G.
Great food. The lunch value is amazing--you get soup and spring roll and your meal for less than $10 plus tip. The spicy terrace is great, and there is a peanut based soup that is delicious (I dont think of it as a soup because it is more like a soupy pad thai, but not too runny). The panang is good too.
