Great service -- we went there twice in two days!

One word: WOW. The food was fresh and super tasty. Service was great and prices were very reasonable. I had a papa rellena and a steak burrito. Probably the best burrito I've ever had. Definitely going back very soon!

Pollo Garden is always excellent! Food is fresh and delicious. We highly recommend Apollo Garden!

My midweek go-to spot when I don't feel like venturing too far from home. I usually get the Peruvian rotisserie chicken with rice and beans and a salad for under $8 incl taxes. If I feel like switching it up, I'll get one of their sandwiches. Everything is very good. No indoor seating but their patio/bar is very nice . They also have the amenities to keep you dry and warm during inclement weather. Worth checking out...

First time here and it was great. Fast service! Authentic! Inexpensive! I loved it and will go back again.

I have driven past this place a number of times and never knew it was there. The staff were great and personalized everything for my guest and I. They were so friendly without being overbearing. The good was so good.. The chicken is their main sell and it's obvious why. My only complaint is the little bones in the chicken. And you can't beat the price. Can't wait to go back!

Now the chicken is the bomb. Has a dry rub fresh off the grill all you need is your own barbecue sauce if you like barbecue sauce if not it is delicious by itself can't go wrong there if you like chicken. The steak Barito could use a little more steak.

This place was soooo good. If you are in the area you should hit up this little spot for some great chicken in a fun space. Nothing fancy, just good good , and good service at a good price.

We tried to eat there. It was open, but no one came to the window even after we rang the bell. My boyfriend was too hungry to wait, so we went next door. We will try again at another time. A be back in 5 mins sign may have kept us waiting.

Best kept secret in Ybor. Their rotisserie chicken is addictive. Papa rellena is fantastic. I go at least once a week. Food is healthy-ish, cheap and quick.

Had a great dinner at Pollo Garden tonight. I has the 1/4 chicken with beans and rice. It was delicious. My husband enjoyed a chicken burrito while my son had a Alexandro sandwich. He said it was excellent. Wish I lived closer and could visit often.

This is an awesome little South American restaurant just off the beaten path in Ybor. I've had the tacos and the chicken. Both are REALLY good. Be aware that all the seating is outside so if it's terribly hot or rainy it might not be the best choice. But the food is excellent and the service is great. It's an excellent option if you're in the area looking for good reasonably priced food.

My husband and I go almost every Friday. We enjoy sitting outside. Parking is right in front which makes it easy. The food is fabulous, especially the fries with special sause and sausage. My husband loves the chicken. We want to thank the waitress for always providing wonderful service and would recommend this place to everyone.

Great food, but the staff isn't as friendly as they used to be :( we had two coupons for free sodas we got on our front door and we were told we couldn't use them because only one per day even though we were two people...we spent $45 that day too and left a tip. I don't think a $0.25 soda was worth potentially losing a recurring customer.

Wow, I'm in love! Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! The rotisserie chicken is so tender and juicy. The stuffed potatoes are amazing with ground beef inside. I usually don't even eat beef! The sides were amazing. This place has slow service, but it's worth the wait. This is a best kept secret in the Bay. Prices are very reasonable.

Excellent good, great service .... I'd eat here weekly if I lived closer. We had the whole chicken, rice and beans and I had a rum punch. All were excellent. Waitress and owner chatted after we ate and are really nice. Me gusto.

Just in my neighborhood, I dropped in for a quick take out dinner. Service was great, nice chicken sandwich the sauce was awesome! The courtyard seating area they have is super cute. Good addition to cheap, quick feeds in Ybor.

Quick food and service. The ribs and chicken were cooked perfectly and the beans and rice were delicious. Excellent for a decent, affordable pre-party bite. Peruvian flare that I would have given 5 stars if the food wasn't so "Americanized."

Food was as good as it gets. I ended up coming here after they had closed the register. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner who is a really laid back and friendly guy. He quickly went to the kitchen when he saw I was hungry and came back out with some of the best chicken i have tasted in Tampa. I was willing to settle for some mediocre chicken since they had been closed but he came out with a fresh piece of chicken. This food was fresh and delicious. The owner spent 4 trips to peru collecting peppers to create a dipping sauce that is just perfect with the tender chicken. What made this deal even more a amazing was the price. I had a quarter of some succulent chicken for only 3 dollars! Hands down one of the best hidden gems in Tampa.

I really enjoyed my experience at Pollo Garden and will definitely add it to my "must go back" mental checklist. It was the perfect atmosphere for what I needed at the time. It was early evening, the sun was just setting...I was prepping for a night out in Ybor with my brother. It wasn't very crowded, all the seating is outside, they were playing reggae music and they served me up my free sangria for checking in on yelp. The perfect start to my night :). The food was really good...I wouldn't say it tastes exactly like peruvian rotisserie chicken. You could taste more of the smokey grill taste and it's a bit more crispy than they serve it up in Peru but it was nonetheless absolutely delicious, the other 2 fellow Peruvians with me agreed. The aji sauce was also delicious! My brother and I spent a lot of time trying to guess what was in it. It was also reasonably priced which is always a plus! Looking forward to trying more items in their menu! I would have liked more drink options...some Peruvian beer perhaps.

Went back and forth between 2 and 3 stars. Decided on 2 largely because of the other glowing reviews. It wasn't bad, but I have no desire to go back. The food was OK - the burrito we got was pretty good, but the salad, chicken, and sauces were nothing special. Service and the atmosphere were fine. The fact that they have a parking lot is nice.

What an unexpected surprise! We were looking for some place in Ybor and found this on Yelp. We crossed the railroad tracks and saw the umbrella. We saw the walk up window to order but then walked 2 steps further to find the cutest porch like setting, fans going, and perfect little outdoor tables. We ordered the sangria which was perfect...not too sweet with wine and still refreshing for the warm afternoon. The menu was simple so we ordered a staple steak sandwich and a house special (Arroz Tapado) Both were such a tasty adventure. The steak sandwich was perfect with a pleasant smoky flavor. The Arroz Tapado was amazing--spices ground beef w rice, sauce and nicely paired with sweet grilled plantains. We are definitely coming back to try the chicken and another house special. The staff were SO NICE and friendly. .very laid back atmosphere. Please try it, you won't be disappointed. P.S: if you like spicy, ask for house hot sauce...amazing blend between spicy and flavor!

This place is a block or two off the Ybor strip. It is a short walk and well worth the trip. Outside seating only but it is covered. The service is exceptional and the food is even more exceptional. We shared a steak burrito and a half chicken and some french fry and sausage concoction. All three were spectacular. For sides we had beans and rice and plantains both of which were also spectacular. I also had a glass or two of sangria which was also yummy. If I had to pick a favorite item I couldn't. Our server was a little bit on the crazy side but very entertaining very attentive and overall terrific. I call her crazy because she called herself crazy, she has red hair, tell her I sent you :-) The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend eating here. Be brave, walk a block or two off the main strip, you will not regret it.

Very good food, the red beans will take some getting used too bc they have this type of seasoning in them that I am not used to but it is good. I do think the beans, for my taste only, could be cooked more. The green sauce that I requested to go with this meal was absolutely delicious and the chicken was so darn good that I will make this place a staple.
